Phyllis: Yeah, yeah, i realize it’s a holiday weekend. I realize that. So, let’s look at this as — i don’t know — a challenge as opposed to a setback. So, this is what you need to do. You need to e-mail our regular spa clients, and you need to tell them about our state-of-the-art equipment, alright? I spent a lot of money on this stuff, and if we don’t get people in there, well, you’re not gonna have much of a staff left. Exactly. Inspirational. I like that. That was inspirational. I got to get back to you. Hey, Diane. You need a bell around your neck.

[Clears throat] What can I help you with?

Diane: Well, I’m so glad you asked. In light of our recent truce, i thought it’d be wonderful if i could go back to having full access of your top-of-the-line gym and spa.

Phyllis: Why? I hear that the athletic club has more than adequate equipment for, you know, the average guest.

Diane: [Sighs] We can be honest with each other, can’t we, now that we’re family? Your equipment is a cut above, and Astrid’s massages have made a new woman out of me.

Phyllis: Um… I can’t help you. I’m really sorry. We have an agreement with the athletic club that they don’t poach our clients, we don’t poach theirs. Besides, we are all booked up.

Diane: Oh. Huh. Funny you should say that because I could have sworn i just heard you complaining that you were desperate for customers.

Phyllis: I was not saying that, that I was a desperate for customers. I just — you misunderstood. Diane, we have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Diane: [Scoffs] You don’t have any grounds to do that where I’m concerned. I’m wearing shoes, I’m not drunk, and I’m certainly not being disruptive.

Phyllis: Um, you were escorted off the premises before.

Diane: Oh, but, Phyllis, that was back when we were bitter rivals. If that ban still holds, then that means our truce isn’t really real. I would hate to think our détente was just on paper, and i know other people would be disappointed, too

Willow tells Michael that she loves horses and when she was twelve years old she befriended a horse named Hector that was in a community where she and Harmony lived. Willow tells Michael that Harmony decided to leave that community and she had to say goodbye to Hector.

Willow and Michael give Cody a tour of the stables and introduce Cody to Leo’s horse Comet. Britt goes to the Quartermaine stables to return a belt that Cody left at the hospital. Cody offers to teach Britt how to ride a horse but she turns down the offer since she fell off a horse when she tried to ride one when she was a little girl.

Carly turns down Sonny’s offer to give her half of the assets of their marriage something to which she is entitled but refused in their divorce agreement. Carly is determined to get out of this mess on her own but she cries when she realizes she may lose the Metro Court.

Sasha has a breakdown when one of the Home and Heart show hosts places a doll in the baby papoose and asks her to walk around with it. Sasha sees Liam instead of the doll because of the drugs she took, and she cries because she knew Liam was alive and he didn’t die. Brandi helps Sasha calm down and he and Maxie take Sasha to the hospital. Brandon gives Kevin permission to look inside Sasha’s purse where he finds the bag of drugs. Sasha admits to Brandon she only took the drugs because she was a nervous about her Home and Heart presentation. Brandon takes Kevin’s advice and leaves Sasha in the hospital for a three-day psychiatric hold.

Haven de Havilland is mad at Deception for the embarrassment that Sasha caused the network and threatens to sue Deception. Selina Wu tells Haven that wouldn’t be a good idea since it would lead to bad publicity since people would think they had no compassion for a grieving mother. Haven decides not to sue because she doesn’t want the bad publicity. Selina Wu tells Lucy to control her talent or there will be serious consequences.

Sonny finds Nina crying because she knows how much Sasha is hurting since she went through the same pain when she lost Nelle. Sonny tells Nina that she never had a chance to grieve her daughter, but she isn’t alone anymore.

Jack tells Allie she can start her internship at the Jabot lab tomorrow and he is happy she decided to stay in Genoa City a little while longer.

Kyle and Summer worry that the feud between Diane and Phyllis will get worse and they wonder how they will handle the tension between Diane and Phyllis.

Diane and Phyllis see each other at the park and Diane pushes Phyllis’s buttons by telling Phyllis Jack is starting to accept the fact that she is part of the family. Diane also tells Phyllis that Jack will never forgive her and that she and Jack will never have a romantic relationship. Jack comes by at the end of the argument and wonders what Phyllis did to provoke Diane. Phyllis tells Jack one day he will see the truth about Diane but by then it will be too late for them to get back together.

Sally offers Chloe the job of COO of Newman Media and Chloe tells her she will think about it because she wants to try and fix her business relationship with Chelsea.

Victoria gives her family the details of how she got the better of Ashland, and Victor is very proud of her. Everyone agrees they will keep their guard up in case Ashland decides to come after them again.

Adam leaves the family meeting to tell Sally his family has left him out in the cold again, but he isn’t going to sit back and take it this time.

Victoria thinks it’s time that Nick return to work at Newman Enterprises so it can be a family company again.

Cody continues to extort Spinelli but Spindly invites Sonny for drinks and makes it clear to Cody that Sonny the “coffee importer” is his friend. Sonny is a little upset that Spinelli used his name and doesn’t want to tell him why he is in trouble and what Cody has to do with it. Spinelli persuades Britt to go on one more Society Setups date and assures her that the date will be a good one

Cody takes the job working as a horse trainer for the Quartermaine because he has decided to stay in Port Charles for a while.

Drew tells Nina he will sell her Crimson magazine but she turns down the offer when she figures out that he wants to give Carly the money to buy back her share of the Metro Court from the investment group. Carly decides not to tell Sonny she needs money, but Nina tells him Carly’s problem when he sees her later in the day.

Brook Lynn tells Chase that he should be a singer and she will be his manager but he figures out Brook Lynn is trying to get Linc to offer him a contract and then tell Linc that he won’t sign the contact unless he gives her back the rights to her songs.

Spencer and Cameron get samples from Carly and Jocelyn by provoking an argument between Esme, Josslyn and Trina where all three young women end up in the Metro Court pool. Carly bans Spencer and Esme from the hotel because she is tired of the scenes they cause at the hotel.

Sasha takes more drugs when she gets to the Home and Heart Channel because she feels nervous and she freezes for a few, seconds when she is on camera with Haven de Havilland and (Morgan Fairchild), but once Gladys calls pretending to be a customer, Sasha relaxes and does a good presentation until one of the Home and Heart hosts gives her a baby papoose as a gift.

Chance takes Abby for a picnic but it is cut short when Chance gets a lead on one of Rey’s cases, and has to go to work.

Amanda is in tears as she tells Devon it was hard to see her mother so sick and unable to move or speak. Amanda worries about being alone again but Devon assures her that she will never be alone.

Nate wants Imani to set up a meeting with Sally Spectra so he can talk to her about allowing Elena to get out of her contract with Newman Media. Imani lies to Nate and tells him she made a lunch reservation so they could both talk to Sally but the truth is, she never spoke to Sally at all. What Imani actually did was make a reservation for two so she and Nate could have lunch together.

Ashland charters a jet so he can leave for Chicago today after he calls the bank and they tell him he can’t get his money back because it has already been transferred to Victoria’s account. Victoria gets ready to tell her family how she got Ashland out of her life.

Lily tells Abby, Amanda, and Imani that she is thinking of building a big state of the art hotel to compete with the Grand Phoenix since Devon sold the Athletic club.

Chloe tries to persuade Chelsea that she is just trying to be a good friend and business partner when she suggests that designing two clothing lines is too much for her to handle. Chloe is hurt because Chelsea doesn’t appreciate her, as a friend or a business partner. Chelsea feels like Chloe is micromanaging her and she can’t stand it anymore. Chelsea tells Chloe that if she wants to leave their business partnership then she can leave. Chelsea, storms out of Crimson Lights. Billy sees Chelsea run out and follows Chelsea to the park where they have a talk. Billy helps Chelsea realize that she was projecting her problems on to Chloe and Chloe was just being a good friend who tells her the truth. Sally sees Chelsea leave and asks Chloe if she can talk.

Adam worries when he finds out the Newman jet is headed to New York to pick up Victoria, but Sally tells him not to worry until he has more information. When Ashland enters the hotel room and sees Victoria’s suitcases she tries to tell Ashland she wasn’t going to leave without him but Ashland reads a message from Victor on Victoria’s phone that says the jet is on its way to get her Victoria then admits the truth to Ashland that she lied to him and made him think she loved him in order to get back the rest of the money Victor gave him because she couldn’t let him hurt her family. Victoria warns Ashland that if he tries to accuse her of fraud she will tell the whole world the kind of man he is, and what he has done because she has proof of everything.

Chase tells his dad and Finn that his suspension has been extended because he punched Linc in the face to defend Brook Lynn. Gregory and Finn tell Chase to fight for the job he loves.

Brook Lynn asks Sonny to help her get Linc to retract his statement, but Sonny says he can’t help because if word got out he did a favor for Chase people would think Chase was a dirty cop.

Olivia offers to buy Carly’s half of the Metro Court from the investment company and Carly could pay her back in installments. Carly turns down Olivia’s offer because Olivia would be using Ned’s money.

Nikolas and Ava sign the divorce papers changing the divorce agreement so that Ava gets half of Nikolas’s money. Nikolas agrees to help Esme get her internship back at Spring Ridge.

Sasha gets some pills from the sleazy photographer and takes a pill before she leaves to go and do the Home and Heart Shopping Channel presentation.

Spencer tells Cameron that he is going to lie to Esme and tell her he found her mother in Portugal, but in exchange for the information, she will have to give him a recorded confession to posting the video of Cameron and Josslyn. Spencer knows Esme will want to see a DNA test so, he asks Cameron to get a DNA sample from Carly and Jocelyn so the DNA test will show a positive mother daughter result so he can fool Esme.

Spencer is about to go to the pool to create a diversion so Cameron can collect the DNA samples when Esme stops him and asks him where he is going.

Olivia suggests to Carly that she ask Sonny for the money to buy back her half of the Metro Court.

Cody decides to stay in Port Charles a little longer when his next job gets canceled. Cody tells Sam and Dante he wants to find a job in town he keeps thinking about Britt and the fact that Faison is her father.

Trina tells Curtis her court date has been set so Curtis asks Marshall and TJ for their help in coming up with a plan to prove Tina’s innocence. Spencer apologizes to Britt for what he said to her the last time they spoke. Spencer asks Britt for her help but, she tells him she can’t help him as long as he is still involved, with Esme.

TJ tells Willow she is three weeks pregnant, but he is going to set up an appointment with an OBGYN to confirm it. Sasha overhears a nurse making an appointment for Willow and it makes her relive the day Liam died.

The sleazy paparazzi photographer calls Sasha and asks her to get him a press pass for her appearance on Home and Heart Shopping Channel. Sasha tells the photographer she will get him a press pass, but he has to do something for her.

Rory tries to learn more about Esme to help Trina stop him when she sees him talking to Esme at the Metro Court pool. Trina tells Rory Esme is dangerous and she doesn’t want him to risk his career to help her. Rory tells Trina it’s too late, he is already involved and he is going to help her.

Willow tells Michael she is pregnant and they both feel happy that their family is getting bigger.

Britt agrees to help Spencer find Esme’s parents if he can get the samples she will run a DNA test to find out the identity of Rand’s parents.

Cody asks Spinelli to do him a favor and Spinelli doesn’t want to do the favor for Cody because, whatever he wants him to do, is duplicitous.

Marshall calls an old friend who tells him where to go to buy an untraceable cell phone. Marshall, Curtis, and TJ go to the address Marshall’s friend gave him hoping to find evidence to prove Trina’s innocence.

Chelsea talks to Adam about her problems with Chloe and gets upset when Adam agrees with Chloe that taking the job with Matchstick would be too much for her. Adam thinks that Chelsea is trying to focus on work because she doesn’t have a personal life. Sally can sense that Chloe and Chelsea’s business partnership is in trouble and she tells Chloe that Chelsea doesn’t appreciate everything she does for their business.

Sally tells Adam later that she is considering hiring Chloe as COO of Newman Media. Sally advises Adam to come up with an amazing idea to prove to Victor that he is the right person to run Newman Enterprises not Victoria.

Victoria, sets up CA bank account for her and Ashland’s new company Destiny Media, and she puts 250 million dollars into the account and Ashland puts in, all the money he has left 250 million dollars. Ashland goes to look at the building he and Victoria plan to buy for the company headquarters. Victoria transfers the 500 million dollars from the Destiny Media account into another account and calls the Newman jet to tell the pilot to come pick her up in New York. Victoria is getting ready to go but she doesn’t know that Ashland has returned and he is about to come inside the hotel room.

Chloe tells Chelsea that their business partnership isn’t working, anymore.

Carly’s business manager tells her that the Stillwater Investment Group already put her half of the Metro Court up for sale since they know she doesn’t have the money to buy it back from them.

Olivia tells Ned he made the wrong decision and threw away his family legacy. Olivia worries the family will all band together against Ned and they won’t be there to help him when he needs them. Olivia is also hurt that Ned didn’t confide in her about how he was feeling before he made his decision.

Leo overhears Michael talking to someone on the phone telling the person he has an idea and they need to talk because Sonny won’t know what is coming. Michael tells Leo that he is planning a surprise for Sonny.

Sonny catches Sasha when she faints at the Metro Court pool.

Liesl checks on Willow and tells her that she should go to the hospital. Sonny and Sasha take Willow to the hospital and TJ runs some tests and although all of them have not come back yet he tells Willow she is pregnant.

Amanda tells Imani she should go visit Naya in the hospital because even though she can’t speak she is sure Naya wants to see her and make sure she is okay.

Amanda advises Phyllis not to give up on Jack because they may find their way back to each other. Amanda also tells Phyllis to keep the peace between her and Diane for the sake of Summer and Jack.

Phyllis is very upset when she sees Jack, Diane, Kyle and Summer celebrating Diane’s new PR job at Marchetti.

Chloe and Chelsea argue because she wants to take the job that Kyle and Summer offered her to design a clothing line for Marchetti to as well as designing a clothing line for Fenmore’s. Chloe thinks doing both jobs would be too much work for Chelsea and that would lead to neither clothing line being the best it can be. Chelsea thinks Chloe is micromanaging her and stifling her creativity.

Elena wants to do a medical podcast for Chancellor Winters and Devon and Nate think it’s a great idea but they must get Elena out of her contract with Newman Media. Nate asks Imani to help get Elena out of her contract before Elena returns from the medical convention in Hawaii. Imani is reluctant to help until Nate tells her Elena will be in Hawaii for a week.

Lauren and Michael have a little love in the afternoon at the Grand Phoenix as they both take a break from work.

Adam is a little worried that Victoria will return soon and take back her job. Sally persuades Adam to focus on doing a good job and not worry about Victoria returning home because there is a strong possibility that she won’t return home.

Chelsea and Lily tell Billy his podcast is too depressing and advise him to make it a little more fun and uplifting so people have hope and joy when they listen to it.

Victor tells Nick he had a meeting with all of Ashland and Victoria’s potential investors and told them Ashland was dying so the new company wouldn’t be a good investment. Victor also tells Nick that he had Michael put out the word in New York that nobody should invest in any company in which Ashland Locke is involved.

Victoria persuades Ashland they should use their own money to start the company since her father is just going to keep sabotaging any potential investors. Victoria also persuades Ashland to buy an entire office building for their new company rather than lease a few floors of office space. Victoria sends a text message to Nick telling him everything is coming together.

Victoria: Oh, no, I slept like a baby. I just wanted to enjoy a leisurely morning. There’s no need to rush into the office.

Ashland: Ah, well, I’m — I’m glad you’re getting a chance to relax, especially after the stress of the last few months.

Victoria: Are you hungry? Do you want to order some breakfast?

Ashland: Well, actually, i was gonna ask if you wanted to go out to brunch, you know, at that cute little café we both love on the upper east side.

Victoria: Well, I guess you haven’t checked the news. The whole business world is counting down to the big press event announcing my successor.

Phyllis: [Scoffs] Well, when you say it like that, it’s so dramatic. No, I was just, you know, looking around, getting the lay of the land, if you will.

Michael: Nothing’s changed since you left.

Phyllis: Oh, I beg to differ. A lot has changed. Yeah, some of my close, personal friends have seemed to, mm, uh, forgive Diane for her past deeds.

Michael: For Pete’s sake, will you stop lurking around in the shrubbery and acting like some crazed stalker from an “I Love Lucy” episode and maybe, maybe face the fact that Diane has changed, like you have claimed that you have more than once.

Summer: Is there a way that we could get her out of town for a while? I mean, doesn’t she need to go back to LA and tie up some loose ends or something?

Kyle: [ Sighs ] I don’t think she’s gonna go for that. She feels like we finally reconnected. She’s getting to spend some time with Harrison. She’s even talked about putting roots down in Genoa City. She even asked me to help her find a job.

Summer: Really? What — what does she want to do?

Kyle: She mentioned PR. Apparently back in California, she took some classes, but we didn’t get into the details. And I didn’t make any promises. My point is she’s ready to settle down here. Maybe we can get Phyllis to hire her at the hotel.

[ Chuckles ] You are not amused by any of my jokes today.

Summer: No, no. That one was worse than the ravioli joke. Kyle, come on. This is serious.

Kyle: I know. But what more can we do? I think we should focus on things we can control. Like finding a new CEO at Marchetti. The deal with Jabot is about to be finalized, and we need someone in place — the sooner, the better.

Cody decides that he will stay in Port Charles after Dante tells him more about Britt.

Brook Lynn tells Linc that she will work with him if he drops all charges against Chase, but Linc turns down the deal because he wants Chase to lose his job. Jordan tells Chase that she persuaded Linc not to press charges against him, but Linc still wants him to be fired.

Carly tells Olivia that she sold her half of the Metro Court to the Stillwater Investment Group in order to buy Aurora Media stock. Carly explains that she has thirty days to buy back her half of the hotel which she will do once the ELQ Aurora Media merger is complete. The stockholders meeting takes place at the Quartermaine Mansion. Drew votes to remove Valentin as CEO of ELQ, as well as, voting to remove Valentin on behalf of several board members who could not attend the meeting. Michael votes to remove Valentin as CEO of the company. Ned and Valentin vote to keep him as CEO of the company. Lucy has to use her tie-breaking one share to keep Valentin as CEO and Valentin immediately votes down the merger between Aurora Media and ELQ.

Victor has a big press conference to announce Adam as the new CEO of Newman Enterprises and Sally as the CEO of Newman Media.

Victoria calls Nick to tell him she is in New York to meet with some investors about a new venture. Nick runs to tell Victor the news confirming for him what Michael had already told him. Victor asks Michael to find out who the possible investors in Victoria’s new company are and persuade them not to invest in the company.
Victoria tells Ashland she thinks that they should use their own money to fund their new company.

Phyllis tells Diane she has decided to call a truce with her for Summer’s sake.

Phyllis sends Jack a text message telling him she is back in town and wants to talk to him.

Kyle tells Summer that he doesn’t trust Diane yet but he wants her to stay in Genoa City so he can slowly get to know her again and see if she can be trusted.

Imani persuades Amanda to go see Naya who has had a stroke. Imani thinks that this will give Amanda a chance to spend quality time with their mother as, she recovers from her stroke. Imani overhears a phone call Elena is having with the person who is going to cover for her at the hospital and she tells the person that Nate won’t be able to go with her to hear her speak at the medical convention in Hawaii because he has to work.

Jack is sad that he isn’t going to work with Kyle anymore at Jabot but looks forward to watching what he can do as CEO at Marchetti.

Michael tells Diane Nikki asked him to investigate her time in Los Angeles when she lived there using the name Taylor Jenson. Diane tells Michael he won’t find any dirt on her because she lived a quiet life in Los Angeles. Michael sees Phyllis hiding in the bushes at the park. After Jack and Diane leave the park, Michael tells Phyllis to come out of the bushes so they can talk. Michael advises Phyllis to let go of her hatred toward Diane so that Summer won’t be forced to choose between her and Kyle.

Phyllis tells Summer she has let go of her hatred for Diane. Summer asks her to prove it by going with her to talk to Diane right now.
