Marlena walked in on Sami reading about Lucas’ arrest in the paper. She wanted Sami to deal with her feelings. Sami told her that if she started crying, she would never stop. Marlena wanted to know where she went when she left the church. She told Marlena that she went to EJ’s place and he was having sex with Belle. Marlena was shocked by what she heard. She advised Sami not to take her anger out on Belle. She thought she would end up hurting herself. Marlena walked out of the room. Sami left the townhouse. Kate went to see Lucas at the station. He didn’t want her to see him like that. She told him that she hired the best defense lawyer in the Midwest. She knew he would beat it. He told her that he might plead guilty. She tried to talk him out of pleading guilty. He said he needed to take responsibility for what he did. Belle ran into Brady and he threw it up in her face that things didn’t work out with EJ. She told him what happened with Sami. Brady told her that Sami wouldn’t keep what she did to herself. He said that she would end up telling what happened. Belle decided that she wanted to tell Shawn herself.

Roman went to see EJ. He apologized for not believing him. EJ understood because Lucas had everyone fooled. Roman said he didn’t fool Kate. EJ told him not to take the law into his own hands. A cop came to get Lucas so he wanted Kate to go. She wanted to be there for him. EJ arrived just as Lucas was taken away. Kate tried to leave, but EJ stopped her. He yelled at her for what happened. She wanted to know what he was going to do to her. He wanted her to know that he planned on getting revenge on her. Steve and Kayla were at Shawn’s place to help him with the baby. Shawn talked to Steve about what was going on with Jan and Belle. He assured Shawn that he could work things out with Belle. Sami wore a wire as she went to Shawn’s place. She told Shawn that Belle was sleeping with EJ. Kayla wanted Sami to stop talking, but Shawn wanted to hear more about it. She continued to fill him in about what happened. She let him know that she didn’t mean to tell him about it. Belle walked in while Sami was talking. Belle yelled at Sami for enjoying the situation too much. Sami, Kayla and Steve left the house. Shawn couldn’t believe Belle went running to EJ’s bed while he was there. He yelled at her for acting as if he betrayed her. He thought she should have dealt with the fact that something horrible happened to them. She knew it wasn’t his fault, but he kept it from her. She said there was a baby involved. He threw EJ up in her face and she walked out of the room. Sami went to the DiMera mansion. She wanted to say goodbye to Johnny. He let him know that she was done letting him and Lucas destroy her.

Will told Chad about Lucas drinking. Chad wanted to know why Lucas started drinking again. Chad didn’t believe Lucas felt guilty over the ski accident. Will told Chad that he thought his mother and EJ would end up together. They talked about Abby. Will told him that he and Sonny would always be there for him. Chad looked at pictures of Abby on his phone. Rafe called him and told him Clyde had an alibi. Chad didn’t believe the alibi at first, but he was convinced that the information was true. He wanted to know who killed Abby. He had flashbacks of Lucas’ hand. He thought about the blood in the room. He thought Lucas killed Abby. Lucas talked to Kate about getting drunk and kidnapping Sami. He said he was positive that Clyde killed Abby. Kate felt relieved. She said he was a bad liar. She wanted him to be sure he wanted to marry Sami without confessing to what he did. Lucas said he was okay with it. Kate was okay with it. She thought Sami would find out on her own. He said kidnapping Sami was an intervention for an addict in a toxic relationship. Kate said Sami lived by the ends justify the means so she should give him a pass.

Sami showed up when EJ admitted to Nicole that he slept with Belle. Nicole decided not to tell Sami what EJ said. Sami was disgusted that she ever loved EJ in the first place. Sami told Nicole that Rafe was slumming with her. EJ called Sami a cheater. He told her to check Lucas’ luggage for chloroform before marrying him. The two of them got into an argument. Roman came out. Sami went off with Roman. Roman told Sami that it was hard to tell what was going on between her and EJ. He said he didn’t know if they were going to kill each other or kiss each other. She told him she couldn’t be happier. He said he could tell Lucas it was off. Johnny and Allie argued over Chanel. They both thought they could get Chanel. They continued to argue until Will showed up. Eric was ready to start the ceremony. Lucas and Sami exchanged vows to each other. Sami brought up her kidnapping. She thanked Lucas for saving her. He said he would live up to every word she said about him. When Sami and Lucas were giving each other their rings, Chad came into the church. He grabbed Lucas and asked him if he killed Abby. The people at the wedding pulled Chad off of Lucas. They wanted to know why Chad thought Lucas killed Abby. Chad said because Abby found out Lucas’ dirty little secret. He admitted that Lucas was the one who kidnapped Sami.

Sami wanted to know whose bra she found on the floor. EJ let her know that it wasn’t her business to know. She assumed that he slept with Nicole so she went to the bathroom door and called out her name. EJ pulled her away from the door. Sami went ballistic so Belle came out of the bathroom and let her know he wasn’t with Nicole. Sami couldn’t believe that he slept with her sister. He let her know that she didn’t have a say in who he sleeps with. Sami thought they were disgusting. She let Belle know that he slept with her because of her. Sami stormed off. EJ went after her and wanted to know why she wasn’t with Lucas. She admitted that he was right about Lucas. She told him that Lucas kidnapped her and framed him for it. Belle eavesdropped on their conversation about Lucas. She said he kidnapped her to split them up. He touched her face and told her they would have been together if Lucas hadn’t interfered. She told him it would never happen now. He got close to her and wanted to know if that was true. She pushed him away. She thought sleeping with Nicole was the worst thing he could do to her. She was wrong. She said sleeping with her sister was the worst thing he could do. He kissed her hand and told her that he thought he lost her forever. She pushed him away and said that things were the same and she left. EJ went back in his room and saw that Belle was dressed. She told him that she was leaving. He didn’t want her to go. She told him that she hurt her sister by being with him. She didn’t want to get judged by Sami for being with him. EJ wanted to know if she was going back to Shawn. She wanted to keep things simple even if she was alone. She walked out of the room.

Allie wanted Will to tell her that Lucas didn’t kill Abby. He didn’t think Lucas would kill anyone unless he was drunk. She reminded him that he was drunk. Will told her about his conversation with their father. She didn’t think he would kill anyone even if he were drunk. Will wasn’t sure about that. He reminded her what he did to their mother. He told her that he didn’t remember cutting his hand. He didn’t know what else he forgot. He thought their father might have been desperate to keep their mother that he would have killed Abby. Allie realized he could have killed Abby. She wanted to check on their mother and Will wanted to check on their father. Rafe pulled Chad off of Lucas. Chad was trying to get Lucas to admit that he killed Abby. Rafe wanted to know what Chad was doing. Chad caught Rafe up on everything that happened. Rafe was upset with Chad for allowing EJ to go to prison for Lucas’ crime. Rafe didn’t think Lucas was capable of murder. Chad said he could have done it if he were drunk. Rafe went in the interrogation room with Lucas as Will arrived. Chad told Will that he told Rafe everything. Will understood why he did it. He told him that he had to stand by his father. They glared at each other before Chad left. Rafe wanted to know if Lucas killed Abby. Lucas said he didn’t remember.

Belle talked to EJ about Shawn and the baby. EJ thought she would go back to Shawn and take care of the baby. Belle thought it would be heartless, but she didn’t think she could raise Jan’s baby. Sami didn’t want to listen to what Chad had to say about Lucas. She didn’t believe that Lucas framed EJ. He told her that he was telling the truth. He didn’t want to cover up for him anymore. Eric arrived so Sami told him to finish the ceremony. Chad said he had more to tell her. Lucas told Sami that he did it for them. Johnny wanted to go after him. EJ told Belle that Sami chose Lucas over him so she was out of his life. She wondered if he was telling the truth about that. He reminded her about her relationship with Shawn. EJ thought they were lucky to find each other. They kissed on the couch. Sami wanted to know why Lucas kidnapped her. Lucas said that he did it for them. He said he wanted to be with her, but she wanted to be with EJ. She wanted to know if that’s why she had her mouth covered and kidnapped her. She wanted to know where he got the kidnappers. He explained that he knew them from prison.

Lucas said that he did something she would have done. She agreed, but she said what he did was different. She couldn’t believe that he was able to sleep knowing what he did to her. She thought he was trying to make her pay for being with EJ. He said he wasn’t doing that. She didn’t believe him. She continued to yell at Lucas for what he did to her. She told him that what he did was the worst thing he ever did. He said he loved her, but she said she didn’t love him. She walked off. He tried to go after her, but Chad stopped him. Marlena went after Sami to try to make her feel better. Sami said that EJ tried to tell her the truth, but she wouldn’t listen. EJ and Belle made their way up to the bedroom. Lucas said he would never hurt Abby. Chad said they didn’t know he kidnapped Sami. Chad explained to everyone that Abby knew that Lucas kidnapped Sami. He said that Abby was stabbed right after he told her the truth. Allie and Will told Chad that he wouldn’t do that. Chad reminded him about their conversation. Roman wanted to call the police on Lucas. He agreed to go to the station and make a statement. Johnny, Chad and Kate went with him. Marlena tried to reach out to Sami, but she wanted to leave. EJ and Belle finished making love again when Sami arrived. Belle wanted to know why she was there.

Kate talked to Chad about Lucas. She didn’t want him getting into another relationship with Lucas. They talked about how he kidnapped Sami. Johnny was convinced EJ was still in love with Sami. He thought he was upset that Sami was marrying Lucas. He didn’t care that they were getting married. Johnny didn’t believe that Belle was the one for him. EJ reminded him that Abby was murdered in that house. Johnny still thought he was into Sami and using Belle to get back at her. Lucas almost slipped and told Will why he felt guilty. He ended up telling him that he blamed himself for Sami’s accident. He felt he was the reason why she wasn’t there for Allie when she was being possessed. Kate talked to Chad about the man she loved giving his daughter away to the man who kidnapped her. She mentioned Lucas knowing about Abby finding out the truth about him. Chad reminded her that she said he didn’t know that Abby knew what he did.

Lucas told Will that he had a slip up. He got drunk. Will wanted him to tell Sami the truth. He said that he would tell Sami what he did. Marlena told Sami that she talked to EJ. She said she told him right after he told her. Kate told him that Clyde killed Abby. She said Lucas would never hurt Abby. He wanted to know what she was going to do. Ben went to see Clyde at the precinct. He assured Ben that he didn’t kill Abby. Ben believed him. He asked Ben if he shot EJ. Clyde said that he didn’t do it. Ben didn’t know how he could leave when Clyde was facing going back to prison. He assured Ben that he would be fine. He wanted Ben to keep in touch. Ciara went to see Victor to tell him the news. He was happy that she named the baby after her father. He was happy that she was leaving town. He wanted her to visit him. Jake read about Clyde’s arrest in Abby’s murder. Ava read the story too. Jake noticed that she looked relieved. She thought about her conversation with Gwen. She was happy that Rafe didn’t blame her for it. Jake was surprised that Clyde was arrested. He thought Gwen was responsible for what happened to Abby. He thought she could have broke out of jail to kill her. He said it wouldn’t be the first time someone broke out of jail in Salem.

Leo went to see Gwen at the precinct. He was glad that Clyde was arrested for Abby’s murder. Gwen wasn’t happy about it. She wondered if he was the one who sold Clyde the jewelry. She said she wouldn’t judge him if he did do it. Leo was shocked by the accusation. The guard told her that she had art therapy and she wouldn’t be able to disappear again. Leo wondered what that meant. Leo realized that the person who killed Abby had nothing to do with the jewelry. Leo asked the guard about Gwen’s disappearance. He didn’t have any information for him. Gwen called Ava and she wondered what she did when she broke out of prison. Belle found Shawn at the hospital and wanted to know how the baby was doing. She also wanted to know if he had any information about Jan. He said the baby was doing fine, but the coast guards didn’t find Jan. Belle was worried that Jan would come after the baby and him. He didn’t think they had to worry about that. He thanked her for saving them. He told her that he loved her and always would. He wanted to know what that meant for them. She didn’t know how to answer to answer that. She said she loved him, but she didn’t think she could raise Jan’s child. He didn’t think the baby was their only problem. He thought they needed to talk about EJ. Belle didn’t want to talk about him. He said he wanted to get to the docks so he could say goodbye to Ciara. Ben and Ciara had the christening for baby Bo. They said goodbye to everyone and went on their journey.

EJ saw Belle reading the program from Abby’s funeral. He told her how hard the funeral service was. Belle wanted to know if he was okay. He was upset about what his family does to people. He told her that Will and JJ were more like brothers to Chad than he was to him. Someone called him and told him that Clyde was arrested with Abby’s jewelry. He wanted to go to the station because he thought Clyde killed Abby to retaliate against him. Belle tried to talk him out of going, but he wanted Clyde to pay for what he did. He left as Chloe showed up. Jan held her baby and packed a bag and let him know they were leaving. Shawn arrived in the room later and realized that Jan took the baby. Evan was getting tired of waiting for Jan to show up with the baby. He called Shawn, but he didn’t want to hear from him. Shawn said on the phone that Jan kidnapped his son. Evan was happy because he knew that Jan pulled off the plan. Chloe talked to Belle because Brady was worried about her living with EJ. She told her that Brady wanted to show up last night and put a stop to her staying there. Belle admitted that she slept with EJ so it was a good thing Brady didn’t show up. Chloe warned her that Sami would be upset. Belle said that Sami moved on with her life. Chloe said that she never moves on with her life. Belle wasn’t worried, but she felt guilty. She admitted that she thought about Shawn and Claire while she saw Chad with his kids.

Rafe showed Chad the bracelet that Clyde gave Nancy. Clyde remembered giving Leo a lot of money after giving him the jewelry. Chad walked in the room and was ready to attack Clyde. Rafe stopped Chad from attacking Clyde. Clyde told him that he didn’t hurt Abby. Rafe told Chad that he didn’t think Clyde was the killer because he didn’t have a motive. EJ walked in the room. He told them that Clyde was the one who shot him. He said he didn’t turn him in because he threatened to hurt him and his family. Chad maws upset that he kept important information like that from him. Chad reminded him that Clyde stabbed Sonny once. He thought EJ was protecting his dirty secrets and not his family. EJ whispered his apology to Chad. Rafe let Clyde know that the charges against him would be for the stolen jewelry for now. Rafe returned to Chad and told him to see his kids. Chad told him to warn Clyde that he was facing a death sentence either way. Evan told Orpheus about his phone call with Shawn. Orpheus thought he was stupid to do that because Jan wasn’t going to show up. Evan threatened to tell Shawn the truth about the baby. Orpheus told him to wait until they were out of prison. Shawn put out an APB on Jan. She called him and told him where she was. She wanted him to come alone or he would never see his son again. Later, he showed up on the docks and saw Jan. She told him they were leaving Salem together. Shawn said the baby wasn’t strong enough. He asked her for the baby. She tossed him a bag of oranges. He was about to get on the boat to get the baby, but Jan knocked him out with an oar. She wanted to be a family with him. Belle showed up. Belle called for help, but she and Jan ended up fighting. Belle knocked the baby into the water with the oar. Shawn told Belle that Jan was gone.

Lani thanked Paulina for making her deal happen. Lani said she hoped she understood why she had to confess. Paulina said she would always be grateful Lani saved them from T.R. Rafe went to see Eli. Rafe told Eli that Vivian was ready to get even with Lani when she gets to Statesville. Rafe said it wasn’t safe there. He said her only option was to go out of state. Eli had another idea for Rafe. Rafe didn’t like it, but he was willing to do something to make it happen. When Rafe left, Eli told Julie that Rafe was trying to get Lani transferred near D.C. He said he was going to move there and get a job. She said he reminded her of his father. She said she knew moving was good for the family, but it was going to hurt. He wanted to dance with her one more time. Kristen was surprised to see Brady at the prison. She said she was hoping he brought Rachel. He said he didn’t want Rachel around her. He asked if she framed him for Philip’s disappearance. She said she didn’t. She asked why he cared. She said if Philip were alive, he could come between Brady and Chloe. Kristen said she wasn’t giving up on Rachel or him. She said Chloe may have won the battle, but she would win next. He said they were done.

Justin was in Melinda’s office to talk to her about Lani’s plea deal. The deal included a manslaughter charge and some time in minimum security prison. Melinda said she changed her mind. She refused to let Lani get away with killing an unarmed man. She said it was another crime on top of her killing Stefan and helping Kristen escape from jail. Justin wanted to know what she would charge her with then. Beth went to see Abe and Paulina. She apologized for not saying anything about TR. She knew what he was capable of doing. They said they didn’t blame her. Abe got a phone call about Lani. He found out Lani’s deal fell through. Paulina wanted to make things right for Lani. Eli talked to Julie about regretting revealing that TR shot him. He also regretted letting Paulina take the blame for Lani’s crime. She assured him that things would be okay. He left to see Lani.

JJ expressed his anger about Abby’s death to Jack and Jennifer. He knew Gwen was happy about what happened to her. Jennifer and Jack didn’t want to hear him talking like that. Jack walked out of the house. Kayla couldn’t believe that she couldn’t do more to help Abby. Steve tried to make her feel better about what happened. Will told Lucas that Sami’s kidnapping was probably why Abby was killed. Lucas wanted to know why he thought that. Will told him that Abby came to him about solving the kidnapping. Steve and Kayla talked about what happened to Abby. Jack showed up while they were talking. Steve thought her death was personal. Jack wanted to know if he had any leads on her death.

JJ told Jennifer that he wasn’t trying to make Jack upset about Gwen. Jennifer was thankful Gwen was behind bars where she belonged. Kate arrived at the pub while Steve, Kayla and Jack were talking. Evan was surprised that Jan had his child. Orpheus told him that he was the father of Jan’s baby. Jan was upset that she didn’t get to hold her baby. Shawn tried to make her feel better about it. Belle and EJ began to make love. JJ arrived in town to see Chad. He wanted to take see how he was doing. Jack and Jennifer also arrived to see Chad. Evan had a flashback of meeting Evan. Jan tried to kiss Shawn when Brady and Chloe showed up at the hospital. EJ and Belle talked after they made love. She felt guilty for being with him. Orpheus told Evan that Jan told him about being pregnant. He said that she told him that Shawn was the father. He told Evan that he planned on helping Jan pass her child off as Shawn’s. Chloe called Jan out for what she did to Shawn and Belle. Jennifer asked Chad if he wanted to pick out a dress for Abby. He said he hadn’t been in the room since Rafe investigated it. Jennifer assured him that he didn’t have to do it.

Chad talked to JJ about what happened to Abby. He assured him they were finally happy. Jack and Jennifer went into Abby’s room Jennifer said a prayer when she saw the bed. Orpheus continued to explain to Evan how he ended up helping her cover up her baby’s paternity. Jan told Chloe that Belle always had a problem with cheating on Shawn. She said she would never cheat on him. She was sure Belle was going to occupy her time with someone else. Belle told EJ that Shawn didn’t cheat on her. She said she was the one who cheated. EJ told her that she didn’t cheat on him because they’re legally separated. She let him know that Shawn accused her of getting separated so she could sleep with EJ. She wasn’t sure if she did that or not. Shawn told Brady that he should be talking to Belle about working out their marriage. He told her that Belle refused to understand what happened with Jan. Shawn walked away from him. Brady realized he should talk to Belle. EJ admitted to Belle that he wanted her for a long time.

Evan met with Orpheus at the prison. Orpheus wanted Evan to get his help the next time he escaped prison. Evan thought the devil test failed for him. He was consumed by getting revenge on Ben and Ciara. He realized he could have been with his son if he were a better man. He said he had a chance to be with David, but he blew it. He regretted not going on the run with his son. Orpheus dropped the bomb that Zoe moved to New Zealand with her ex and the baby. Evan was upset, but Orpheus told him to focus on family matters that were close to him. Shawn told Jan about Belle being upset with him. He told her what happened when he ran into her. Julie walked in while he was telling Jan about keeping her out of prison. Julie didn’t blame Belle for being upset with him for doing that. Julie told Jan that she was a snake and should be in prison. She told Shawn he was being naive. Jan and Julie started arguing with each other. Sami went to see EJ and found him with Belle. She wasn’t happy to see them together. She told him that she had divorce papers for him to sign. Chad talked to John about losing Abby. John told him what he went through when he lost Isabella. Sami continued to tell EJ that he should sign the papers. He let her know that he had a lot going on so he didn’t have time to worry about signing divorce papers. Kate advised Lucas not to marry Sami. She told him that he shouldn’t go through with it because of what happened. He wanted to know if she was trying to tell him to confess to the kidnapping. She didn’t want him to do that. She mentioned what happened to Abby. He got upset. He told her that he would never hurt his niece. He loved her too much to hurt her.

Chad continued to talk to John about Abby. He told him about wanting to go on a trip with her. He regretted not going to Boston with Abby. He felt like she would still be alive if they went on the trip. John reassured him that he didn’t know that would happen. John wanted to know what the last thing they to each other was. He said they said they loved each other. EJ finally signed the divorce papers. Sami warned Belle not to get locked up in the basement. She left the mansion. She went to Lucas’ place and told him that she got EJ to sign the divorce papers. Lucas proposed to her and she said she would do it.

Leo ran into Brady and Chloe outside of the pub. He was shocked to find out about Abby’s death. Brady thought he wanted to get revenge on her. He wondered if he was finished getting his payback. Leo was offended that he accused him of killing Abby. He reminded them that Chad and Abby started the war by breaking up his relationship with Craig. Brady called him a child. Brady wondered why Leo didn’t come after him yet. Leo said he was tired of getting revenge and wanted to move on with his life. EJ wanted to know what was in Clyde’s bag. He refused to tell EJ. EJ warned him that if he did something to Abby, he would do anything to make him pay. Clyde said he didn’t kill her. Clyde said that EJ would have known if he was the one who killed Abby. Sami wanted to know why Lucas’ room looked so trashed. He said he was looking for jewelry. She wanted to know what jewelry he was looking for, but he wouldn’t tell her. She wanted him to talk to her because she would love him regardless of what he did. He told her that he was looking for a ring to marry her. He told her that he talked to Roman about it and had a ring for her. He said that the ring was gone. She said she couldn’t marry him because she was still married to EJ. She wanted him to keep looking for the ring while she confronted EJ.

Shawn thanked Belle for being there for him when Jan gave birth. He thought there was some hope for them. He wondered if she went home with EJ. She admitted that she went home with EJ, but they found out about Abby. Shawn was determined to find out what happened to her. She was surprised he was working on the case since Jan was going back to prison. She thought he would have to take care of the baby. He told her that he had Jan’s released extended. Belle was upset. He wanted to do what was right for his son. He told her that Jan named the baby Shawn. She cried and walked away. Leo looked at his revenge list. Brady realized that Abby’s death might have made him drink. He admitted that he got drunk because of Abby. Brady told Lucas that the police were looking at the person who stole her jewelry as the culprit. Brady advised him to reach out to him if he was going to drink again. Brady promised him that he would keep quiet about what he told him. He said he didn’t have anything to tell him. Brady walked off so Lucas wondered if he stole Abby’s jewelry. EJ checked on Chad, but he snapped at him. EJ wanted him to go to the kids, but Chad couldn’t deal with it. EJ told him that the kids need their father and have been asking for him. He said he couldn’t do it without her. EJ comforted Chad.

Shawn sat in the hospital with Jan. She couldn’t believe how tiny their baby is and how she couldn’t comfort him. Shawn got a text from the warden wondering when Jan was going to return to the prison. Jan told Shawn that their baby needed her and he should do something about it. Shawn went to talk to Kayla about Jan. She finally came up with the idea that Jan could stay there until her baby was better. Leo read the paper and saw that the police were focusing on the person who robbed Abby. He had to get rid of the jewelry. Clyde was about to bus his table when he noticed Leo. He noticed the money clip he had. Leo told him about it and said that he could have more if he wanted it. Clyde noticed the jewelry looked stolen. He made an offer to Leo. He said he would get back to him. Lucas’ room looked ransacked. He didn’t find the jewelry, but Sami showed up in his room.

Lani said it didn’t happen that way. She explained what happened when she shot Ray. Lani apologized to Eli for confessing. Julie tried to talk Lani out of confessing to what she did. She wanted everyone to keep quiet about what she did to protect her children. Everyone at the wedding agreed to keep what she did quiet. Lani was grateful to everyone for wanting to keep quiet, but she wanted to confess to what she did. She asked Eli to drive her to the station. Paulina wanted to go with them. Abe told her there was nothing she could do.

Olivia told Paulina that she was proud of her for what she did for Lani. Paulina was surprised by that. She talked to Olivia and Abe that she promised not to lie. She felt bad for leaving him in the dark. He said he wasn’t exactly in the dark. Eli wanted to tear up Lani’s confession. She didn’t want him to tear it up. She didn’t think her lie could stay hidden for long. She said there was no turning back. She wanted to face the truth and suffer the consequences. Abe explained how he knew that Lani possibly killed Ray. Eli told Lani how long she could be locked up. Lani realized she should have arrested Ray. She shouldn’t have shot to kill. Olivia explained it to Julie. Lani was struggling to keep it together when TR knocked on the door. She closed the door in his face. She told herself that he wasn’t real. She panicked when she heard another knock on the door. It was Theo. He wondered what was wrong. She said she thought he was her neighbor. TR said Theo didn’t believe her when he asked her about Paulina’s murder charges. She ran off. Eli showed up. Theo wondered what was going on with Lani. Eli said it was the weight of the world. Chanel and Lani helped Paulina get ready for the wedding. Paulina was happy to have both daughters help her get ready. Paulina said she needed a matron and maid of honor. Paulina sent Chanel out of the room. Paulina asked Lani how she was doing. Lani said she felt terrible letting her take the heat for her crime. Gabi was upset that Abby died. She felt she didn’t have the right to cry over her. Li said Abby might have been her enemy, but she was also her friend. Gabi said it was more than what he bargained for. Li said he was all in through the good and the bad. She told him not to say the ugly. He said she was the most beautiful woman he ever laid eyes on. Jack asked Gwen why Abby went to see her. Gwen said she had a gift for him. She said she wanted to give it too Abby so she could give it to him for his birthday. Rafe said he was sorry for his loss. Chad said he didn’t want his sympathy. He said he wanted to know who killed his wife. Leo told Gwen that Abby was murdered. She asked if he did it. Rafe told Chad that he wanted to see the crime scene. When Chad took him upstairs, he thought of Abby. Jack and Jennifer showed up at the hospital. They wanted to see Abby. Leo was upset that Gwen accused him of killing Abby. She said he wanted to get revenge on Chad and thought that was how he did it. He said he didn’t do it. Rafe checked Abby’s jewelry and said the killer made it look as if it was a robbery. Lucas went to the pub and asked Roman if Kate was there. Roman asked if he heard the news. Lucas didn’t know what he was talking about. Roman told him Abby was murdered. Jennifer talked to Abby. Leo denied killing Abby. Gwen asked if he saw anything. He flashed back to seeing Abby. Susan talked to Johnny about Belle possibly being interested in EJ. Johnny and Marlena didn’t think that was true. She said that she wasn’t staying at the mansion just for the ambiance. Johnny was worried about Sami finding out about it. He wanted to change the subject because Marlena was worried about Belle, Jan and the baby. Belle asked EJ to make her feel better. She kissed him and wanted him to make love to her. He backed up from her. She wanted to forget about everything. She wanted him so she backed him into the house and he kissed her. Chad came back from the movies with the kids and found Abby on the bed. She stirred and he called the police. She managed to tell him that her attacker had a knife. Chad hung up from the police and screamed for help. EJ and Belle were on their way to his room when they heard Chad scream. They ran into Chad’s room. They saw the blood all over the room. Chad wanted them to find his kids. He begged Abby to hold on while he tried to save her. EJ told him that Belle took the kids to Marlena’s place. Abby told Chad that she was cold. She closed her eyes. Chad begged her not to die.

Chad arrived with Abby at the hospital. Chad begged Kayla to help Abby. Later, Kayla came back and told Chad that she was sorry. She told him that she was gone. Chad was in denial about what happened. He thought Rolf could fix everything. Kayla said that Rolf couldn’t help Abby because she lost too much blood. EJ held Chad and he kept repeating that it couldn’t be true. Chad wanted to be alone with Abby and asked EJ to check on his kids. Kayla took Chad to see Abby’s body. Kayla left him alone with her. Gwen called Leo and told him that she wanted him to stab Abby in the heart. Leo thought that was extreme, but Gwen wanted Abby to suffer. Gwen wanted him to do more than just plant a fake article in the newspaper. His phone died while they were talking. He picked up a knife and put it in his bag. Belle was upset when EJ told her that Jan’s baby dying could be a good thing. Belle was upset about the pregnancy, but she would never want the baby to die. She said she wouldn’t forgive herself if she wasn’t there for Shawn so she decided to go see him. EJ looked at Stefano’s portrait and vowed to make things right with Belle. He walked out the room just as Leo came out of the tunnel. He looked at Stefano’s portrait and wondered what he should do to Abby. Shawn sat by Jan’s side as she panicked about the baby coming too soon. Sarah ran into Marlena and told her about her concerns that the antidote was wearing off. She talked to her about seeing Kristen kidnapping her. She realized it was just Victor with a pen. She didn’t want to tell anyone that she thought she was losing her mind. Marlena thought her medication needed to be increased. She advised Sarah to talk to Abby since she went through the same thing. She thanked Marlena and left. Belle went to the hospital and ran into Marlena. She told Belle about Jan’s condition. Shawn ran out of the room and told her that Jan passed out. Shawn and Marlena rushed off. Later, Shawn told Belle that Jan was in surgery. He told her that she had a placenta abruption. Belle knew he was scared. She hugged him just as EJ got off the elevator. Shawn saw EJ and told him to leave. Marlena came out and told Shawn that Jan was fine, but she had to give birth. She said the boy was small and had to be in the NICU. He thanked Belle for being there for him. He went to be with Jan. Belle asked EJ to take her away from the hospital.

Kate told Lucas that Chad talked to Abby about him kidnapping Sami. He panicked after she told him what Chad did. Kate assured him that Abby would keep quiet about it. She warned him to tell Sami the truth. He refused to do that. She’s okay with it because she knew Roman wouldn’t forgive her if the truth came out. They agreed to meet later for dinner. Lucas sat alone at the table and worried about Abby telling the truth. He grabbed a bottle of alcohol and snuck out of the pub. Abby told Chad about her visit with Gwen. He told her about his conversation with Kate. He apologized for keeping her in the dark about Lucas. She assured him that she would be by his side. She told him that she was ovulating so they decided to go home. Sarah went to see Gwen. She wanted to confront her about what she did to her. Gwen said it was Abby’s fault for leaving the syringe in the basement so Kristen could use it on her. She told Gwen that she had to mourn her baby twice and she’s hallucinating. Gwen said that she’s paying for what happened. Sarah gloated that she and Xander were back together. Chad and Abby made love and she was convinced they made a baby. Thomas told them that he saw the Tooth Fairy and he thought he wouldn’t find them. Abby assured him that he would find them. Chad planned on taking the kids to the movies so he left Abby alone. Leo peeked out the door while he was alone with Abby. Kate wondered what happened to Lucas. He passed out on the bed. He was holding an empty bottle of alcohol. Gwen was missing at the prison. She told the guard that she fell asleep in the library. Leo was sweaty while he was in the park. He held on to his bag. Chad went back to the room and found Abby dead on their bed.

He said Abby tracked down the other henchman who kidnapped Sami. He said he had to stop her from going after a criminal. Chad said she wouldn’t say anything. She said he wouldn’t have to worry about Lucas. Lucas went to the pub and saw Clyde there. Lucas couldn’t believe he was working there. Clyde said he changed. Clyde said he heard his argument with EJ the other day. Clyde said any enemy of EJ’s was a friend of his. Lucas asked if he had a problem with EJ. Clyde said he had a business deal with EJ and he turned him down. Clyde said EJ used to mention Sami’s kidnapping. He said he blamed Lucas for it. Clyde wondered if Lucas would make a good partner. Lucas thought the opportunity was illegal. He said he wanted to stay out of prison. Clyde warned him that EJ was telling people that he committed the crime. Jan told Shawn that it was her first appointment with Marlena. She said she was determined to get better a be the mother her baby deserved. Marlena showed up for her session with Jan. Jan told her she would be the best patient she ever had. Shawn said he would give them privacy. He wanted to talk to Belle so he was going to Marlena’s. Marlena told him Belle wasn’t there. She said Belle was upset that she was treating Jan. She said Belle spent the night at the DiMera mansion. Shawn left.

Jan asked Marlena if Belle and EJ were together. Marlena said the conversation wasn’t about Belle. Jan said she was sorry. She said she was nervous. Belle told EJ that she would love to help him with his problems with Gabi and Clyde. He said he had a plan to get revenge on Clyde. She said she wanted to do it legally. He wanted to talk over brunch. Susan told Abby that she felt a presence among them. She said someone isn’t supposed to be in the house. Abby told her it might have been the tooth fairy because Thomas said he ran into the tooth fairy. Abby wanted to go in the basement where Thomas saw the tooth fairy. Gwen called Abby. She said she was in the guest room. He said she knew what she was doing coming to the mansion. She said she had to deal with her family betraying her. Marlena ended up calling him. He told Belle that Jan was in labor. Abby went to see Gwen. Abby thought she was going to admit to killing her grandmother. Gwen said it wasn’t about Laura. She said it was about give to him. Abby laughed at the gift. Gwen said she knew Abby hated her, but Jack was all she had. She begged Abby to give it to him. Abby picked it up and dropped it. Gwen asked why she did that.
