Brady wanted to know why Theresa was in Salem. She said she was there to pay her respects to Victor. Brady reminded her that they weren’t close. She told him that she had a breakthrough before she left town. She said Victor told her that he was proud of her. Brady talked to her about helping Xander when he abandoned Chloe. She said she would always hate Xander for being the reason why they weren’t together anymore. Brady told her that Xander wasn’t responsible for them breaking up. Her lying is the reason why they aren’t together anymore. She agreed with him, but she wants to give their relationship another chance. She kissed him. He enjoyed the kiss until he came to his senses. He didn’t think it was a good idea. Theresa told him they were single, and they should consider giving their relationship another shot. Brady turned her down and told her that it wouldn’t happen. He asked her to leave. John wanted Marlena to tell him about the case she wanted him and Steve to work on. She told him about the man at the hospital. She wanted them to find out who he is. She also told him about the son he wanted to find. She gave him details about the guy. They thought he might have been a veteran. John suggested running his prints through a military database to find out who he is. Marlena got a call from Harris so she had to leave.

John and Steve investigated the mystery man. John decided to call the VA hospital. They found out that a patient was missing. They wanted to find out more about it so they went to the VA hospital. They talked to the administrator to get some information about the man. They found out the man’s name was Joseph Bell. The administrator gave John and Steve access to Joseph’s military records. John was surprised to find out Joseph Bell served in the same unit in Korea as his birth father. Harris wanted to know if Ava was still seeing Susan. He wanted to know what she was saying. Ava told him and swore to him that she didn’t know what Susan was talking about. Marlena arrived and offered to hypnotize Ava. Marlena wanted Harris to leave them alone so they could get started. Marlena walked her through the night of the accident. Harris came back in the room after they were finished. Ava told him that she didn’t remember anything new. Marlena apologized for not being able to help her. She said that she had to leave. After Marlena left, she told Harris that she lied to Marlena. She said that Susan was still alive. EJ had a dream about his mother. She wanted to know why he didn’t avenge her death. He went to Xander’s place with his gun. He told Xander that he couldn’t stop thinking about his mother’s death. Xander said it was Ava’s fault. EJ told him that he agreed with him and wanted him to kill her. He offered to pay Xander for killing Ava. EJ thought he owed it to his mother to take care of Ava. Xander thought EJ was setting him up. He turned down EJ’s offer. EJ was going to make Xander pay with Ava. EJ called someone and told the person to kill Ava and Xander.

Belle talked to Brady about Shawn and Philip. She was very worried about Shawn. John arrived as Belle was leaving. John offered to buy lunch, but Belle wanted to see Shawn. John and Brady talked about Philip and Victor. John told him about his rocky history with Victor. Brady wanted to honor Victor’s memory and focus on getting Rachel back. John encouraged him not to give up. Shawn talked to Marlena and thanked her for putting him on 24-hour watch. He needed it, but he wanted to go home. He promised that he would stick with therapy. He wanted to be home with Belle. She agreed and told him that she would lift the hold on him. She wanted him to promise to get help if he feels the way he did before. At the hospital, Jada told Kayla about an elderly man wandering on the side of the road. She asked her to examine him. Kayla agreed to check him out. The mystery man couldn’t remember his name, but he was being playful. Kayla examined the mystery man. He was okay. His memory has issues, but he was okay.

Kayla introduced Marlena to the mystery man. Marlena asked him questions to jog his memory. He said he was in Salem looking for his son that he never got to know. She told him that her husband is a private investigator and he could help him. He needed all the help he could get. Belle saw Shawn at the hospital. He told her that he was coming home. She thought it was too soon. He didn’t think it was too soon. He agreed to go to AA meetings with Brady. He apologized for the things he said to her. He promised to do therapy with Marlena twice a week. Belle was still hesitant about him going back to work. He wanted to take the day off to spend with her. Later, Brady was at the townhouse. Someone was at the door and Brady answered it. He was surprised to see Theresa standing at the door.

Stefan and Gabi struggled to find out who Dimitri’s girlfriend was and why he married Gwen instead of her. Gabi wanted to search his room and Stefan agreed to do it. Gwen wanted to know why Kristen thought she would hit Dimitri over the head. Gwen told her that Dimitri talked to her about his meeting with her. She wanted to know who Kristen thought they should partner with. Kristen wanted her to ask Dimitri, but she wanted answer from her. Kristen lied and said Chad. Gwen reminded her that Chad hates her and wouldn’t want to work with them. Kristen thought they should try to get Chad to work with them. Gwen wanted to go to her room and saw Stefan there. Stefan tried to keep her out of the room by getting her to talk about her honeymoon. She told him to ask Leo since he showed up in Iceland. She went into her room. She saw Gabi throwing roses on the bed. Gwen thought she was snooping in her room. She wanted them to leave. Gabi told Stefan that she found a receipt and saw that Dimitri paid for two room during his honeymoon. They were on different floors. She thought Dimitri brought his girlfriend on his honeymoon. Stefan told her that Dimitri brought Leo to Iceland. Dimitri didn’t think Leo could pose as Gwen. Leo talked him into it. They went to Elliot’s office so he could question them. Leo pretended to be Gwen and gave Elliot an emotional speech. Elliot believed they loved each other, but he knew he wasn’t Gwen. Elliot knew about Dimitri but gave him the check anyway. If he wanted the rest of his checks, he had to keep up the act of being married to Gwen.

Belle met with Brady at the pub. He thought she wanted to talk to him about his custody suit. She wanted to talk about Philip. She told him that Philip is one of her clients and he wanted to know how he talked her into that. She said no one had to talk her into it. She wanted to help Philip. Brady told her about the note he left for Shawn. He let her know that Shawn didn’t get back to him. He wanted to know if Shawn was on Philip’s side since she’s defending him. Belle told him that he’s not the police commissioner anymore. She told him about Paulina demoting him and Marlena putting him on a 24-hour hold. She told him that she was scared. Brady felt bad and apologized for talking so much. He wondered if there was anything he could do. She asked him not to press charges against Philip. He didn’t think that was fair, but she told him that Victor would want them to help him. Brady eventually agreed not to press charges against him. He wanted to clear his name and get his daughter back.

Belle let Marlena know that she was trying to get in touch with Shawn. She didn’t know where he was. Shawn was at the station and muted Belle’s message. He said sorry while he was staring at his gun. He picked up the gun. Belle admitted to Marlena that her plan made things worse with Shawn. Marlena tried to comfort her. Belle wanted to know what Shawn said in therapy. She told her that she couldn’t break confidentiality. Belle reminded her that she could do it if Shawn was a danger to himself or others. Belle wanted to know if she thought he was as danger to himself. Marlena said she was concerned about him. Belle begged her to tell her what Shawn said and she agreed to do it. Paulina went to Shawn’s office and told him that she was going to give Shawn his job back. He was glad that Rawlings was gone. He let her know that he wanted him to arrest her for assault. He told him that he wouldn’t arrest her. She wanted him to stay as a detective. She thought reinstating Rafe would a good idea. Shawn agreed with her and she thanked him for understanding. She wanted to make sure he was okay. He told her that he was okay and that she would be a great mayor. Belle didn’t understand why he wanted to give up on his therapy when he was making progress. Marlena told her that he was making progress, but he didn’t see a point in it since it didn’t change Bo or Victor’s situations. Marlena told her that Shawn hit rock bottom and that he needed to in order to get better. Belle was scared of what he would do if he didn’t get better. She wanted to go to the station when Shawn showed up at Marlena’s office. He put his gun on her desk. He wanted her to take the gun from him because he wasn’t in a good place. She wanted to know if he was going to hurt himself. He wasn’t sure if he was going to hurt himself, but he knew he needed help. Marlena and Belle assured him that they would help him. Marlena wanted to put him on a 24-hour hold and he agreed to it.

Paulina ran into Rafe and Jada. She let Rafe know that he could have his job back. He wanted to know about the fraternization policy. She said that she would fix it, but it would be on a case by case basis. He wanted to wait until the policy was changed before he would consider taking the job back. Paulina promised to rush it. Jada thought Rafe should take his job back. He wanted to keep seeing her. She said they could wait until the policy was changed. He said he was falling in love with her. Abe talked to Steve about not being able to remember Paulina. He wished he could remember loving her. Steve told him about what happened with him and Kayla when he had amnesia. He said Abe should take things slow with her and ask her out on a date. Paulina showed up to tell Abe that she offered Rafe his job back. Abe was happy about that and thanked her. He asked her out on a date and she said yes. Brady was surprised to see Philip at Chloe’s place. He hugged Philip. He was happy to see that he was alive. He thought Kristen kidnapped him and faked his death to frame him for his murder. Brady wanted to use what she did in his case. Chloe told him that Kristen didn’t do it. Philip admitted that he did it. Philip told Brady everything that he did. Philip wanted to know if Brady could forgive him. He punched Philip and knocked him on the floor. He was upset and demanded to know where he was. He told Brady that he was in a mental institution trying to get help. Brady was about to call the police, but Chloe stopped him. She reminded him to have compassion because he was mentally ill. She reminded him that he lost his father.

Sarah apologized for interrupting Xander and Maggie’s conversation. She let Xander know that she had a conversation with Maggie and decided to tell him the truth. She was about to tell him the truth when she had pains. Xander wanted to know if she was in labor. Sarah’s pains were getting worse and she decided to go to the hospital. Brady met with Belle and she thanked her for agreeing to help her. He didn’t agree to help her yet. She told him about Shawn’s situation, and he showed up while they were talking. Shawn wanted to know what was going on. Belle told him that Brady was going to an AA meeting and that he had to go with him. Shawn and Belle got into an argument because he felt like he didn’t need help. Shawn said he didn’t need AA and insulted Brady before leaving. Belle wanted to go after him, but Brady stopped her. She wanted to help Shawn, but he told her that she couldn’t do it. He had to help himself. She knew he was right, but she hated it. They changed the subject and brought up Philip. Belle couldn’t believe that Philip was dead. Brady thought Philip would have showed up by now since he’s been gone for two years. She agreed, but she won’t be able to accept the fact that he’s gone. While they were talking, Brady wanted to know if she heard from Shawn. She didn’t hear from him. She hoped he went to work. Brady hoped he didn’t because he wasn’t in the right condition to work. They talked about Chloe again. Belle thought Chloe still loved him. She told him they had to be there for Chloe when things go wrong with Xander. She talked him into making up with Chloe. Chloe was surprised to see Philip at her door. She thought she was imagining things. When she realizes that he’s real she fainted in his arms. She came to and didn’t understand how he was alive. She asked him questions about what happened. He admitted to her that he faked his death to frame Brady for his murder. He told her that he was in a mental institution to get over his obsession over her. Chloe was upset that he made everyone mourn his death. He apologized and told her that his parents put him in a mental institution. She couldn’t believe that Victor and Kate let everyone think he was dead and let Brady go to jail. She wanted him to stay away from her because he’s still crazy. Philip told her that he was released a while ago. He was just staying away. He said he was there because his father died, and he wanted to make things right with her.

Philip tells her about what he’s been going through. He assured her that he wasn’t trying to win her back. He just wanted her to know that he’s changed. He is the way he used to be. Chloe was glad that he was alive, but she let him know that she’s engaged. He thought she was engaged to Brady, but she told him that she was engaged to Xander. Philip was surprised after everything Xander did to her. She told him that Xander has changed. He wanted to leave, but she stopped him so she could hug him. He wanted to know if she forgave him for what he did. She was still angry, but she was glad he was okay. He’s going to take responsibility for what he did. He opened the door to leave and saw Brady. Kate thought Rex was Philip. She let him know that she told Philip about Victor’s death. She said that Philip told her that he wouldn’t be there, but she wasn’t sure if he will stay away. They wondered what would happen if Brady saw him. Kate told Rex that she let Chloe know that he was with Sarah. He told her that his relationship with her was serious. Kayla went to Marlena’s office. Marlena told her that she and Roman were going to accept Sloan for Eric’s sake. She said that she was throwing a baby shower for Sloan. Kayla told her that Sloan lost the baby. Marlena was devasted for her. She wanted to find him, but Kayla suggested that she let him be there for Sloan for now. Shawn went to see Marlena so Kayla left them alone to talk. He told Marlena that he’s quitting therapy. She tried to talk him out of it, but he didn’t believe that he needed help. He told her that what’s going on couldn’t be fixed and stormed out. Later, Belle showed up and told Marlena about the fight she had with Shawn. Shawn went to the station and took out his gun from the lockbox. He stared at the gun for a while. Xander checked on Sarah. She said she was doing better. Kayla walked in the exam room and was surprised that she was pregnant. She congratulated them, but they told her the baby was Rex’s. Kayla asked her questions about her baby and she faked being in pain. Xander left the room and Sarah stopped faking the pain.

Eric apologized to Roman for snapping at him about the baby shower. Roman understood and offered his condolences. Eric wanted to get back to Sloan. Nicole was shocked that Sloan lost the baby. Sloan told Melinda that she and Eric had to start off with a clean slate. She wanted to tell Eric the truth. Melinda reminded her that telling Eric the truth about the baby would be a bad idea. Sarah told Maggie that she saw Xander. She told her what happened when she talked to him. Maggie wanted to know what she told Xander. Chloe wanted to tell Xander about Sarah’s pregnancy, but he told her that he already knew about it. He told her that he knew about it the day before. Roman told Eric that he was sorry about his loss. After his phone call, Nicole told Eric that heard the news about the baby. She told him that she was sorry. Sloan knew that Melinda didn’t want her to tell Eric the truth because she wouldn’t have any leverage over her. Melinda warned her that if she told Eric the truth about Nicole’s baby, they will want to be a family. Maggie was shocked that Sarah told Xander that she was pregnant. She revealed to Maggie that Rex proposed to her. Chloe was upset that Xander proposed to her knowing that Sarah was pregnant. Sloan was convinced that Eric will forgive her once she reveals the truth. Melinda reminded her that she thought she had a chance with Eric because they were both having Eric’s baby. Nicole was surprised that Sloan lost the baby since she was fine when she talked to her earlier. Eric told her what Kayla said to them. She reminded him that she was told the same thing, and she was able to get pregnant.

Melinda promised Sloan that she wouldn’t tell her secret. Nicole wanted to be there for Eric. She placed her hand on his chest and he noticed the ring. Sarah told Maggie about her engagement. Maggie reminded her that Rex cheated on her. Sarah told her that she lied to Xander about the father of her baby. Maggie let her know that she will have to keep lying about who the father of your baby is. Maggie wanted to know what she would do if everything blew up. Xander told Chloe that Rex is the father of Sarah’s baby. She wanted to know if that was true. Sarah told Maggie that she couldn’t tell Zander the truth about the baby. Sloan woke up and told Eric that she had a dream that she lost the baby. Eric told her that she did lose the baby. EJ had a dream about the night his mother died. Ava screamed when she thought she saw Susan at Bayview. Harris wanted to know why she was screaming. Ava told him that Susan Banks came back from the dead. Harris assured her that she wasn’t seeing Susan. Ava wasn’t convinced because she told her to leave her alone. Marlena and Roman talked about Victor passing away. Marlena had a memory of Victor. They talked about Eric being engaged to Sloan. They weren’t happy about it. Sloan was heartbroken over losing her baby. Kala walked in to check on her, but she snapped at her. Sloan wanted to know why she lost her baby. Melinda snuck out of Li’s bed and started searching through his things. She found his phone and started to look through it when he woke up. He wanted to know what she was doing. He wanted to know why she was looking through his phone. She lied and made it seem like she was using her phone. He wanted to make love to her again, but she had to go to work. Kayla told Sloan that she had an auto immune disorder and that’s what caused her to miscarry. Sloan told Eric the disorder wasn’t why she lost her baby. She thought she was being punished for the decisions she made. He told her that wasn’t true, but she didn’t believe that. EJ talked to Nicole about the night Ava killed his mother. Ava continued to think that Susan was at Bayview. Ava told the woman that she didn’t mean to kill her. She demanded that Susan leave her alone. Harris told the lady to walk away from Ava. She didn’t think she would ever be okay because she still sees dead people. She didn’t think she would ever be well again.

EJ revealed to Nicole that he was having nightmares about Ava killing his mother. He felt like he was having them because he didn’t get revenge on her. Ava continued to tell Harris that she wasn’t getting any better. Eric wanted to know why Sloan was being punished. He wanted to know what she did. She said she did terrible things. Eric reminded her that she was trying to tell him something before she collapsed. Sloan was about to say something when Kayla returned with information about her disorder. Sloan wanted to know if she would be able to have another baby. Kayla said the treatment was curable. Nicole didn’t want EJ to get revenge on Ava. She thought he should try to let it go. He told her that she’s a threat to his family. Harris thought Ava should talk to Marlena, but she said she had a past with her. She told him about the things she did to Marlena. He said that he did things to Marlena too, but she was a good therapist. Melinda went to see Sloan at the hospital. She apologized for what happened. Sloan wasn’t sure if she meant that. Nicole continued to talk EJ out of going after Ava. He finally gave in and decided not to go after Ava anymore. Nicole had to go to the hospital pharmacy to pick up her prescription. Melinda told Sloan that her apology was sincere. Sloan didn’t care anymore since she lost her baby. She thought that Eric deserved the chance to be a father. She was going to tell Eric that he’s the father of Nicole’s baby. Melinda didn’t think she should do that.  Eric talked to Roman on the phone and told him that Sloan lost the baby. Nicole arrived and heard Eric’s news.

Ava talked to Harris about her visit with Tripp. He was happy that her visit went well. She was hopeful that she will have more visits. She felt like Tripp is the one thing she did right. She got serious and told him that she had to take responsibility for Susan’s death. He tried to assure her that it wasn’t her fault. He also talked to her about his therapy. They continued to connect with each other. She felt like she was getting better. She screamed when she saw Susan. Kristen read about Victor’s death in the paper. She thought about when she tried to kill him. She wasn’t sad about his death. A man named Elliott Roth was there to see Dimitri. He was a lawyer for the Van Leischner family. He was there to give Dimitri his first installment of his money. She tried to get Elliott to leave the check with her, but he couldn’t do that. He had to make sure the marriage was valid. She was willing to vouch for him since she was at the wedding. Gabi and Stefan arrived so Kristen lied about who Elliott was. Kristen told Elliott that Gabi was a golddigger so she couldn’t know about Dimitri’s money. She promised him that Dimitri would be home soon. He told her that he would be at the Salem Inn.

Gwen walked in the room and saw Dimitri working out. She was happy that he was feeling better. He credited it to her loving attention to him. She wanted to spend time with him. He thought about being with Leo and suggested that he come with them. She appreciated him wanting to include Leo in their plans. Leo arrived and was surprised to see Gwen. He covered by saying he was sad about Victor’s death. Gwen tried to comfort Leo and went to get him ice cream. Dimitri and Leo started making out when Kristen called. She told Dimitri that Elliott Page was at the mansion and that he had to get home. When Gwen came back, he told her that they had to leave immediately.

Melinda wanted to tell EJ what she knew. She considered telling him when Li called her to ask her out. EJ wanted to know what she was going to tell him. She told him to forget she said anything and left for her date with Li. Nicole and Johnny talked about Victor’s death and how she’s engaged to his father. He wanted to know if his mother knew about it. Nicole told him that they were going to go to Italy and elope, but the jet wasn’t available. He played around with her and told her that they got the idea from him. He thought marrying Chanel was the best day of his life. He told her that he was still in love with Chanel. Nicole gave him encouragement. He let her know that Chanel was dating Talia. Nicole told him not to give up on Chanel. She advised him to let Chanel know how he feels and let her make the decision. He didn’t know if he should do that, but she told him to be honest with Chanel. Melinda was about to meet with Li. She was determined to get the info she needed on Li herself. Li was convinced he could seduce Melinda so she wouldn’t prosecute him. He answered the door and put on the charm. She did the same thing. They have a good time and things get heated between them.

Sloan wanted to talk to Eric something, but she had to know how he felt about her first. He assured her that did and that she could tell him anything. She remembered her conversation with Melinda so she decided to tell him the truth. She suddenly got a cramp in her stomach. Eric was worried about her. Her pain was getting worse so he wanted to take her to the hospital. Talia was at the hospital and ran into Kayla. She asked Talia how her therapy was going. Talia was okay, but she needed a paying job. Kayla offered her a job at the hospital as a doctor. Talia was surprised that she wanted to help her after what she did. Kayla believed in second chances and would go to bat for her to get her the job. Talia thanked her and promised to do a good job if she got it. Talia was happy when Eric and Sloan arrived at the hospital. Sloan’s pain was intense. She collapsed and Talia rushed to give her CPR. Talia realized that Sloan wasn’t breathing. Kayla arrived and told Talia that she saved Sloan’s life. Eric thanked her for saving Sloan. Later, Kayla gave Sloan and Eric the sad news that the baby didn’t have a heartbeat.

They argued about it and then talked about their history with Victor. They discussed that Victor tried to pit them against each other. They eventually hugged each other because of their loss. They said that nothing has changed between them. Belle told Shawn what happened to Victor. He was upset because he had a bad relationship with Victor before he died. He remembered the problems they had over the years. He wondered if things could have gone differently for them. Belle tried to assure him that Victor loved him. She assured him that Victor knew he loved him too. Shawn knew the family blamed him for what happened. She reminded him that no one blamed him. He told her that the family didn’t tell him about Victor. He wanted to be alone. She told him not to go to a bar. He said he wanted to be left alone. Shawn ended up going to a bar and thinking about Victor.

Chloe up at the pub and saw Kate. They talked about what happened to Victor. Chloe told her about her relationship with Xander. Chloe brought up Philip and they talked about her relationship with him. Kate almost told her the truth about Philip, but she decided not to do it. She told her that she hoped things work out with Xander. After Chloe left, Kate called Philip. Justin called Sonny to tell him about Victor’s death. Bonnie walked in and told him to break down. He broke down and cried. Maggie was lying on her bed when Julie showed up. They talked about her life with Mickey and Victor. Julie tried to make Maggie feel better about her loss. After Julie left, Bonnie went to talk to Maggie. Xander arrived at the mansion and saw Sarah. She turned around and he saw that she was pregnant.

Chloe went to the Spectator to talk to Xander about his marriage proposal. He got the call that Victor died. He grieved over him while she listened to him. He talked about how their relationship was up and down. Xander became very angry at Victor for the way he treated him. He regretted that he couldn’t make up with him before he died. She wanted to know if there was something she could do. He wanted to be left along. She told him that she loved him and that she was thinking about his proposal. Later, Abe was at the town square with Paulina while Rawlings was having a press conference. Abe told Rawlings that he planned on taking his office back. He demanded that Rawlings put his resignation on his desk, but he refused to do it. He questioned Abe’s ability to do the job. Rawlings convinced him to take questions from the audience. It didn’t go well for Abe. Kayla went home and Steve told her that he tried to talk Abe out of going back, but he wouldn’t listen to him. Marlena showed up and told Steve and Kayla that Abe’s press conference didn’t go well. Gwen and Dimitri were in Iceland. She made plans for her and Dimitri. She worried about not hearing from Leo. She went downstairs to check on their tickets when Leo showed up. Dimitri was happy to see Leo and kissed him. They heard Gwen come back so they stopped. Xander told him that he loved Chloe and thought they had a future together. Chloe heard Belle on the phone. She wondered what happened. Belle told her about Brady losing custody of Rachel. Chloe felt bad for him. Belle asked her to be there for Brady. She wasn’t sure about doing that because of his issues with Xander and the fact that they were in a relationship. Marlena returned and asked Harris if he was okay. He couldn’t get over the fact that Ava seemed like she knew him. Marlena left to go to the hospital. He sat down and Ava approached him. Shawn arrived at the police station and told Jada that his suspension was done. He wanted to know how he had to talk to about it. She didn’t know because no one was given Rafe’s job yet. The acting mayor was thrilled to see Shawn. He thought Rafe suspended him because he told on him. Shawn told him that he was drinking on the job. He promised not to do it again. The acting mayor took his word for it. He said he had to replace Rafe. Shawn suggested he give the job to Jada, but he gave the job to him instead.

She said that he could see Rachel, but his visits must be supervised. Later, Brady went home and looked at a picture of Rachel. He told John and Marlena what happened in court. Kirsten went back to the judge’s chambers to check the final order and saw Belle. Belle let her know that Brady wasn’t the only one who lost that day. She told her that Rachel lost too.

She woke up and lied to Eric about her dream. He left to take a shower. She realized she had to do more to keep him from finding out the truth. She told Eric that she was going to see Colin, but she was going to the hospital.

Rafe asked Jada to go to Gabi’s wedding with him. She wondered if they could go public with their relationship. She also wondered if Abe would let him get his job back now that he’s back. Brady told him that he was going to be charged with attempted murder. Eric told him that he had to find a way to get the charges dropped. Belle went to the DiMera mansion to talk to Kristen. She wanted her to drop the charges against Brady. Kristen wanted shared custody of Rachel in exchange for dropping the charges. Belle was sure that Brady would agree to it. Eric talked to Brady about Sloan being pregnant and his feelings for her. Brady congratulated him even though he wasn’t sure about Sloan. Later showed up and told him about the deal Kristen offered. He wasn’t happy about it, but Belle told him that he didn’t have a choice if he wanted the charges dropped. Kristen arrived and Brady wanted the charges dropped before he signed the papers. Kristen called Trask and recanted her statement. She wanted Brady to hold up his end of the bargain.

EJ and Nicole went to the specialist. She wanted EJ to get genetic testing to isolate any problems the baby might have. He agreed to have the test done. He allowed the cheek swab. The doctor did an ultrasound to check the baby. After the ultrasound, EJ wanted to know the sex of the baby. The doctor told him that she couldn’t do that without Nicole’s permission. While EJ talked to the doctor, Nicole ran into Eric. He let her know that he had an appointment. She wanted to know if he was okay. Sloan approached them and happily told her the good news. Chad talked to him about moving in with Stephanie. Theo noticed that he didn’t seem happy. He told him about what’s going on with Alex and Stephanie. Eli went to Paulina’s place and they talked about Lani being missing. Rafe checked Lani’s pulse and said it was weak. Rafe and Jada found a syringe by her. Sam Gerard (the Marshall) wanted to know if she had a history with drugs. Rafe insisted that she didn’t have a problem with drugs. They rushed her to the hospital. Eli called Rafe for an update just as they got to the hospital. Rafe let him know where they were and told him to get there quickly. Marlena tried to call Whitley, but she got her voicemail. Marlena hung up the phone and got a call from John. He told her what Jerry told him and Steve. Whitley told Abe they would be together forever. She brought out the space heater that killed her husband. She talked to him as if he was her husband.

Marlena tried to reason with her, but she wouldn’t let her help them. Kayla called Theo to come to the hospital. Paulina and Eli arrived at the hospital and sat by Lani’s side. She woke up and told them about Whitley and Abe. They weren’t sure if she was hallucinating. Kayla backed up her story. Paulina was happy that Abe was alive. Whitley threatened to hurt Marlena with an umbrella when she tried to turn off the space heater. She tried to help Whitley when Rafe and Jada came through the door. Steve and John waited for the bus from Chicago to arrive. They saw Jerry get off the bus and wanted to question him about Whitley’s accusations. He let them know that Whitley lied to them. John wanted to know why she would lie. He told them that Whitley was the one who did it. He told them everything that Whitley did. Steve and John wanted to know if he was saying that Whitley killed Abe. They were shocked when he told them that Abe was alive. He told them that Whitley is drugging him and keeping him at her place. Jerry told them that he told Lani everything. They wanted to stop Whitley from leaving or hurting anyone else. Kayla talked to Marlena about Steve’s call. They talked about Whitley quitting. Marlena told her that she treated Whitley last fall and kept records. Kayla reminded her that she was possessed by the Devil during that time. They talked about the things Whitley went through. They talked about her husband’s accidental death and the deaths of her three cats. Marlena was worried that her possession kept Whitley from getting the care she deserved. She said that everyone thinks he’s dead, but he’s out of the country. Paulina was hopeful that Abe could be found. Rafe showed up at the station to get his things. He talked to Jada about how to find Lani when US Marshall Sam Gerard let them know that he was there to get Lani. Rafe confessed that they didn’t know where she was. They tried to convince the Marshall that Lani wouldn’t run away. Gerard agreed to help look for her. He warned them that Lani would have a longer sentence if she did run away. He activated her ankle monitor so they could track Lani down. Whitley tried to feed Lani, but she didn’t want it. She told Whitley that she’s not her mother and that she’s crazy. They argued about it. Whitley took out a syringe and said she didn’t want to kill her, but she didn’t give her a choice. Abe was scared as he watched Paulina inject Lani with the syringe. Lani passed out. Whitley told Abe that they were going to be together. She was going to make sure they stay together. Rafe, Gerard and Jada arrived at the docks when Lani’s ankle monitor went off. They found her unconscious.

Belle warned Brady not to say anything. He told her that he called Rachel a liar and he felt guilty about it. He wanted to tell the truth. Belle tried to convince Jada that what happened occurred in the heat of the moment. He said Brady would never hurt Kristen. Melinda walked in and said they weren’t going to let it go that easily. She wanted Jada to book Brady. Melinda wanted a statement from Kristen. Jada left to go to the DiMera mansion. EJ and Stefan talked about Megan and what she planned to do. Stefan was surprised that EJ didn’t want to help Megan. They talked about her escaping. EJ thought they should turn their attention to Dimitri and go after him together.

Jada arrived at the mansion to talk to Kristen. Kristen thought she was there to arrest her for kidnapping. Jada informed her that Rachel told her what happened. She wanted a statement about what Brady did. Brady and Belle arrived at John and Marlena’s place. He wondered if he could go to prison. Belle said he could if Kristen pressed charges. Rachel was listening in the hallway. Li was on the phone when Gabi arrived. She shocked him by pulling out a gun. She let him know that she didn’t believe he wasn’t in on the plan to kill Stefan. She told him that she was going to kill him to keep Stefan safe. He didn’t think she would do it. She reminded him that she shot her first husband. She wasn’t afraid of prison if it will keep Stefan safe. He told her that he was moving on with his life. He said he hired a matchmaker. He wanted her to look at his computer. She looked and saw that he was telling the truth. She informed him that he needed to remember what would happen if he went after Stefan again. Kristen was having a drink when Dimitri walked in the room. She wondered if he was sneaking his girlfriend or boyfriend out of the mansion. He tried to cover, but she let him know that Rachel told her what she saw. She thought he was with Leo to keep him quiet about his inheritance. Dimitri went along with it. Kristen told him that she wanted a portion of his inheritance to keep quiet. Stefan and EJ walk in the room and told Dimitri they were throwing him out. He said he didn’t have anything to do with his mother’s plot. They didn’t care and still wanted him out. Kristen defended him and told them she would make things harder for them if they kick him out. Stefan back down, but EJ was upset. He stormed out the room.

Brady talked to Belle about Kristen and Rachel. He told Belle that Marlena went to talk to Kristen. Belle was upset that she went to see Kristen. Brady assured her that she would be safe. He knew she could handle Kristen. She told him about Shawn’s suspension for drinking on the job. He offered to talk to him. Marlena wanted to know about Rachel, but Kristen wasn’t saying anything until they revisited the custody agreement. She said she might be able to tell where Rachel was if they had joint custody of Rachel. After Marlena talked to Kristen, she ran into Brady and Belle. She told Brady about Kristen’s demands. He didn’t want to give in to Kristen. Marlena told him that any judge would give Kristen some visitation. She thought it was better for the time being. Brady finally gave in, and Belle left to work out the custody agreement. Steve questioned Whitley about her resignation. She told him that she was going back to Arizona to be with her family. She was surprised that he knew so much about her family. He knew about her past because of her background check. He let her know that it happened when Abe disappeared. She looked scared, but he assured her that she was okay. Whitley tried to throw suspicion by telling him that Jerry was around Abe’s room the day he went missing. Brady took the agreement to Kristen. She was happy he was willing to see things her way. He was about to sign the paper and ripped it up.

Lani told Jerry that her family still had questions about Abe’s disappearance since they never found his body. Jerry felt guilty and finally confessed that he made the story up about Abe falling in the water. Lani wanted to know what he meant. He said he lied about everything. He confessed the entire story. He told her that Abe was still alive and being drugged in Whitley’s apartment. Abe kept watching Body & Soul and hallucinated that he was part of the show. He saw a character named Sandra and remembered they had a daughter. Jerry was rushing to finish packing so he could leave town. Steve pounded on his door. Abe heard someone knocking on Whitley’s door. He couldn’t move because of the drugs that Whitley gave him. Lani broke down the door and was surprised to see Abe in Whitley’s place.
