Elena: [ Chuckles ] Or you can do it when I’m on my morning run, which I haven’t been doing when we spend the night together, but I usually like to get out really early, which could also be annoying.

Nate: Good thing I’m a doctor who’s used to crazy hours.

Elena: I also don’t like to share closets. I like to keep everything orderly and color-coordinated. Is that something you can handle?

Nate: Well, uh, I don’t know. Guess I may have to clean out a closet or two just for you.

Elena: [ Chuckles ]

Nate: That might be tough.

Elena: Well, I should think that I’m worth it.

Nate: [ Chuckles ] You definitely are. And thank you for sharing this side of yourself with me. I guess I have to reciprocate in kind.

Elena: Okay.

Nate: If we were to live together, you have a right to know that I have an enormous baseball card collection.

Elena: [ Laughs ]

Billy stages a mock magazine interview and photo shoot with Lily to help prepare her for the many interviews she will have as the new CEO of Chancellor Industries. Billy also tells Lily he has decided to tell Jack about his plan to get back at Adam and Victor and clear his name.

Adam tells Sally that his secret investigator should keep a close eye on Billy.

Chelsea agrees to work at Newman Fashion as Chloe’s partner. Chelsea has a talk with Sally and later tells Chloe she is worried that, Sally is too ambitious and will soon want to run Newman Fashion instead of being an employee. Chelsea wonders how Chloe plans to keep Sally under control. Adam tells Sally that he doesn’t want any drama between her and Chelsea they should just concentrate on making Newman Fashion successful.

Sharon: Well, just make a decision to be civil. You know, I doubt that Victoria and Victor want things to get ugly either.

Sharon: What? Why? I thought that all of your issues with him were moot at this point.

Nick: It was his doing. You know, he summoned me to Newman Enterprises and basically demanded that I tell him all the reasons why I don’t like and trust him, which I did in incredible detail.

[ Sighs ] And wouldn’t you know it, Victoria just happens to walk in as I’m warning him that he better not hurt Victoria.

Sharon: Oh, no.

Nick: Yeah. I tried to tell her that this is what Ashland wanted, but she didn’t care. And then she’s the one who told me that Chance is alive, which is just further proof that I am completely out of the loop in this family.

Sharon: Wow. And here I was thinking that you were just worried you were gonna run into Phyllis and things might get a little awkward.

Victor: Do you think that you mommy, Jill, is going to accept the offer?

Gloria: Oh, no, silly. It’s your spa, thank you very much. I am in between treatments, and I feel absolutely transformed, like a — like a golden goddess.

Phyllis: Well, I am very glad to hear that our estheticians have done you right.

Gloria: Oh, yes, oh, yes. I am so thankful for the massages and the facials I scheduled for today, and the fact that your spa is open on a holiday. And I mean, it’s — I feel badly for the masseuses and the facialists who have to work, but I will tip them generously because JCV is doing phenomenally well under my charge.

Ashland: Mm. You know, the effects of the initial treatments that i received in Peru were — were a little rough, but the doctors told me to expect that. In fact, it’s probably good news, and it’s just a sign that the medication is doing its job.

Victoria: Maybe I should take you home.

Ashland: Well, that’s a good point.

Victoria: Not to mention a big chunk of ChanceCom consists of a division that i sold to them.

Ashland: I see where you’re going with this.

Victoria: You know, my father, he was never okay with me selling off this division to Billy. I have to think that he would be a little bit disappointed if i didn’t try to get it back.

Ashland: I was put on an experimental protocol, and I’ve already received a full regimen of the treatment.

Adam: Well, I am glad to hear that. I’m sure Victoria’s relieved, as well.

Ashland: Yes, we’re both feeling very positive. I’m actually happier for her than I am for myself. You’ll never get her to admit it, but this illness has taken quite a toll on her.

Adam: I’m sure it has. Well, my sister’s obviously very much in love.

Ashland: That makes two of us. I’ve been keeping up on everything going on around here, and it looks like it’s all on track.
