Diane: Uh, I’m good, and I’m glad to hear it. You– you’ve had your ups and downs lately. It’s been quite a roller coaster. For jack and Traci, too.

Ashley: Yeah. If I didn’t know you so well, that butter wouldn’t melt in your mouth routine might actually work.

Diane: I’m not pretending to be concerned.

Ashley: Oh, don’t be that way. It’s a compliment. Kill ’em with kindness has always been my motto, too.

Traci: My sister has been having mood swings.

Alan: Uh, highs and lows, or?

Traci: No, um, more like personality shifts. For example, uh, she will be extremely confident.

Alan: Well, that’s Ashley.

Traci: Yeah. So, take that Ashley to the nth degree. And at the next moment, she’ll be almost childlike. And then last night, we got a new one. Uh, uh, tequila shots and live it up. But the most troubling is when she is our ashley. She’s so fragile. And she’s confided in me that she’s having blackouts.

Alan: Wait, from alcohol?

Traci: I don’t think so. The– the time I know about for sure, she insists she had nothing to drink.

Alan: Blackouts. What else does she say about the blackouts?

Dante talks to Sam and tells her that, for the first time in his career, he thought about protecting Sonny from the possible charges against him for beating up Cyrus instead of arresting him. Dante tells Sam that if he can’t arrest someone who broke the law even if that person is his father maybe he shouldn’t be a cop anymore.

Josslyn tells Trina that she doesn’t want to be a doctor anymore but she doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life. Trina tells Josslyn she loves art but ever since Spencer died she doesn’t feel excited about art anymore.

Kristina tells Alexis that TJ and Molly are micromanaging her and treating her like an incubator instead of a person. Kristina worries that TJ and Molly are treating the baby like another thing to check off their to-do list rather than a miraculous little baby that will soon be a part of their lives. Alexis asks Kristina if she thinks of the baby as hers rather than TJ and Molly’s baby.

Carly and Sonny argue because Carly doesn’t want Donna to visit Sonny at his house anymore because he is angry all the time. Sonny tells Carly he will take her to court to make sure he can see Donna. Carly thinks Sonny needs to go to the doctor so the doctor can adjust his bipolar medication. Sonny tells Carly he is fine and tells Carly to leave his house.

Brook Lynn has a hard time auditioning to be the new pitch woman for Deception because she gets too nervous. Lois Quartermaine is trying to show Brook Lynn how to do a presentation for Home & Heart so Brook Lynn will relax and not be nervous and she does such a great job that Lucy offers her the job.

Tracy puts Sasha to the test because she doesn’t think she has enough experience to be the Quartermaine’s cook. Tracy is impressed when Sasha makes a savory pie that reminds her of when she and Luke lived in Paris.

Tracy tells Gregory that she feels like she has wasted all the advantages she has been given in life. Gregory tells Tracy that a life is never wasted as long as you are grateful for and love the people that are in your life. Tracy tells Sasha lunch was wonderful and she has the job.

Willow tells Michael she took Drew’s job offer because she wants to spend time with the kids and she feels that promoting bone marrow donation, although volunteer work, is very worthwhile work.

Nikki calls the paramedics…they arrive to give Jack something to counteract the effects of the painkillers…Jack finally awakens. Jack thinks Nikki for saving his life.

Victor is frantically looking for Nikki and his security team tells him they found Nikki at the Athletic Club. Victor finds Nikki with Jack and he isn’t happy. Jack explains to Victor that Nikki saved his life last night because he slipped and took pain killers.

Once Nikki and Victor are home, Nikki explains that Jack tried everything to stop her from drinking and when nothing worked he shocked some into her by joining her. Victor thinks Jack had a stupid idea and she could have died last night. Victor goes to Jack’s house and tells him never to come near Nikki again. Nikki tells Victor, Victoria, and Nick that she has decided to go to rehab to get sober again.

Claire goes to see Kyle and Harrison. Harrison is happy to see that Claire is okay and gives her a hug. Summer tells Kyle she thinks Harrison needs to see a therapist to deal with the ordeal he has suffered. Kyle tells Claire she and Harrison are both victims of Jordan and she isn’t to blame for what happened to her and Harrison.

The entire episode takes place inside Nikki’s Athletic Club hotel room where Jack tries his best to get Nikki to stop drinking and go to a meeting. Jack gets frustrated when talking isn’t working. Nikki is sick and tired of fighting to stay sober all these years. Nikki considers herself a lost cause, so she tells Jack to leave and let her drink alone.

Jack sees that nothing he says is persuading Nikki to stop her drinking binge so, he decides to drink with Nikki to relieve stress. Jack gets drunk and calls his dealer to get some pain killers. Nikki tries to persuade Jack not to take a pain pill with alcohol, but he takes one anyway passes out on the bed.

Blaze’s mom Natalia goes to talk to Maxie about Brook Lynn who she thinks is flighty and irresponsible who shouldn’t be managing Blades music career. Maxie tells Natalia that Brook Lynn is very responsible and good at her job because she loves the music business.

Drew and Nina have hate sex again but, this time, in Drew’s office. Nina makes Drew promise that they won’t have sex again.

Willow accepts Drew’s job offer to work for the non-profit that promotes bone marrow donation. Willow tells Nina that if Drew can forgive her for sending him to jail then maybe it’s time she let go of her grudge against her. Nina realizes that Drew could be the key to her having a relationship with Willow so she must find a way to stay in his good graces.

Sasha gets the job as the Quartermaine’s cook after the family enjoys the chicken tetrazzini she made for them. Sasha is so happy she kisses Cody.

Dex tells Jason he saw Hume talking to Valentin on the day someone tried to kill Sonny at the Metro Court pool. Jason later tells Anna that Hume has a very high position at Pikeman and Dex saw Hume talking to Valentin the day someone tried to kill Sonny at the Metro Court pool. Anna decides to get close to Valentin again to find out if he works for Pikeman.

Dex is officially accepted into the Police Academy.

Abby meets with Billy without telling Devon to try and see if she can arrange a truce between Billy and Devon. When Abby talks to both of them, she gets the impression Billy wants to kick Devon out of the company. Devon talks to Nate and Chance because he does want to kick Billy out of the company. Chance and Nate tell Devon that they will always do what is best for the company but they won’t get in the middle of the fighting between him and Billy.

Nikki continues to drink inside the hotel room at the Athletic Cub. Nikki passes out and has a nightmare that Victoria and Nick reject her because they blame her for what happened to Claire and Harrison. Jack sees Nikki come out of the hotel room and thinks she is drunk because she is slurring her speech and is wobbly when she walks. Nikki runs back into her room and tries to shut the door but Jack holds on to the door and tells Nikki to let him in the room.

Ashley’s friend Alan is concerned that Ashley is acting differently when she can’t remember the details of how they met each other. Ashley’s Ms. Abbott personality takes over again because she thinks Belle will send Ashley to the psychiatric ward.

Traci talks to Alan Laurent, Ashley’s psychologist friend, who came for a visit from Paris. Traci explains Ashley’s behavior to Alan and also tells Alan that Billy suspects that she may have dissociative identity disorder because Billy went through a similar experience. Alan tells Traci he is retired and he can’t practice in the United States. Alan does agree to try and persuade Ashley to get some professional help if she does have DID.

Ashley’s alter ego, Belle, is determined to make Ashley fall in love with Alan so she can forget about Tucker.

Cole and Victori find Claire locked in a storage unit with the body of a dead woman on top of her. Once Claire is home, Victor tells Claire Jordan is dead and won’t hurt anyone again. Jordan is frustrated because she can’t get out of the jail cell Victor has her in and she vows to make Victor pay for what he has done to her.

Finn asks Gregory to get an aide to be with him while he is at work. Gregory gets upset with Finn for the idea.

Tracy comes by later to visit Gregory and helps him realize that having a home health aide and living with his family is better than living in assisted living.

Sonny feels like Laura has also turned her back on him when she tells him that she won’t turn a blind eye to his crimes anymore.

Nina tells Carly she is officially divorced from Sonny and she is worried because Ava is a bad influence on Sonny.

Trina offers to babysit Ace on a regular basis to help Laura when she is busy, so she takes Ace to the park to play. Ava and Laura worry that Trina may want to spend time with Ace because he is her only link to Spencer and that it might keep her stuck in her grief.

Kristina goes to Carly and Nina because she is concerned about Ava’s influence on Sonny but they both tell her they are done with Sonny and he makes his own decisions. Nina does warn Kristina that Ava will do anything to get what she wants and right now she wants Sonny. Kristina tells Nina she will get Ava out of Sonny’s life.

Jason tries to persuade Sonny not to kill Dex because everyone will know he ordered the hit. Jason tells Sonny that Josslynn told Kristina that he ordered Dex to kill Cyrus in the hospital. Jason warns Sonny that if he tries to kill Dex he will have to stop him. Sonny tells Jason he will die trying to stop him from killing Dex.

Kyle and Summer bring Harrison home and take him to his room to rest and they tell the family he is fine physically but they wonder if this ordeal will leave any psychological scars.

Victor tells Nikki he followed her to the alley where she was going to meet Jordan. Victor is upset with Nikki for not telling him about her plan. Nikki tells Victor that her plan didn’t work because Jordan didn’t go to meet her. Victor tells Nikki Jordan did come and she ran away when she saw him coming. She ran toward the bridge. When she got to the bridge, she slipped and drowned in the water.

Jack calls Victor and tells him that Harrison is home but Claire is still missing. Victor tells Jack Jordan is dead and how she died.

Harrison comes downstairs because he had a nightmare about the witch that took him. Harrison tells Kyle and Summer that Claire didn’t hurt him. The witch hurt Claire and he asks Summer and Kyle to help Claire because she is in trouble.

Nikki tells Cole and Victoria that Harrison is home, but Claire is still missing.

Victoria gets a call but the call has too much static and she can’t tell who the person is or what the person is trying to tell her.

Victor goes down to his wine cellar and asks her if she is comfortable in the soundproof room. Victor tells Jordan the the only way she can get out is to tell him where she is hiding Claire.

Gregory has an ALS episode where he loses the feeling in his legs and has trouble breathing but Violet is brave and goes to get the oxygen machine and helps him put on his oxygen mask. Violet runs to get Finn and Chase. Finn calls an ambulance but, by the time the ambulance gets there, the feeling in Gregory’s legs has returned and his breathing is better. Gregory refuses to go to the hospital and later tells Brook Lynn and Chase that he won’t allow them to cancel the wedding and he will officiate at the wedding.

Kristina talks to Molly about what Josslynn told her that Sonny ordered Dex to kill Cyrus when he was at the hospital. Molly knows what Josslynn said is true, but she can’t tell Kristina the truth because it is part of the case against Sonny.

Josslynn talks to Jason about her worry that Sonny will have Dex killed if he joins the Police Academy. Jason promises Josslynn he will not let Sonny kill Dex because he will protect him.

Traci tells Jack that they should track down Ashley’s phycologist friend because Ashley might feel more comfortable if he helped her instead of a therapist who doesn’t know her.

Kyle tells Jack that he gave the guy at the 24-hour diner some money and he got a look at the security footage from the diner and found Jordan’s car. Now he is going to search the neighborhood for it.

Kyle finds Harrison alone in the hotel room where Jordan is holding him hostage. Jordan goes to the alley to meet Nikki, but Nikki isn’t there. Jordan is waiting for her, but Victor comes up behind her and puts her to sleep with chloroform.

Lily votes against Nate being on the Chancellor-Winters board and surprises Devon because he thought Lily was going to vote for his idea to put Nate back on the board.

Jill and Billy vote against the lawsuit and want Daniel to take the games that he wants because a lawsuit would hurt the company.

Devon, Abby, and Lily vote to fight Daniel’s lawsuit.

Mamie is upset with Lily because she didn’t vote for Nate to be on the board and thinks that they should split the company. Lily makes it clear to Mamie she will not split the company in two and wonders if she should trust Mamie.

Kyle, Jack, and Victor offer Dave the flower van driver $ 100,000.00 for information on Jordan. The van driver tells him Jordan gave him $ 10,000.00 to use his truck and he needed the money to pay gambling debts. The van driver tells Kyle, Jack, and Victor that he was supposed to meet Jordan at a 24-hour dinner.

Nikki calls Claire’s phone and offers herself as a replacement for Harrison and Claire because she will get more money from Victor if she took her hostage. Nikki waits for Jordan at the alley where she told Jordan she would be waiting on her.

Adam: This video call is just gonna be the two of us, right?

Chelsea: Right. Billy is not gonna be on the call, if that’s what you’re asking. But he’s right. These are doctors trained to deal with the things that Connor’s dealing with.

Adam: But they don’t know our son, not like we do. And I just– I don’t want them to forget that.

Chelsea: You’re right. We’ll make sure we give them insight into our son. Because, yes, we know him better than anybody.

Billy: Okay, well, it sounds like you’re both on the same page, so I’ll head back to the office. I’ll talk to you in a bit.

Daniel: Oh, how big of a change?

Danny: Not small.

Daniel: Don’t tell me that my rock star father’s gonna hang up his keyboard, cancel the tour, and possibly move back to Genoa City full-time.

Danny: Sorry, son. Your dear old dad is gonna be a rock star forever. No matter where I live. Some things just never change. But, um, yeah, I, uh, I have had to push my travel schedule a bit while cricket decides if she’s even gonna go.

Phyllis: Oh, while Cricket decides. My goodness, Cricket is waffling yet again.
