Billy apologizes to Victoria for everything he put her through when they were married. Billy also thanks her for divorcing him because it forced him to get his life together. Victoria is sad because she realizes Billy has become the man she knew he could be but now he is in love with Lily. Jack and Sally talk about their families and Sally spends the night in the Abbott guest room because of the snowstorm. Kyle thinks Summer that she is underestimatig Sally, but Summer doesn’t think Sally would risk everyone finding out about her past. Mariah and Abby have a long talk about surrogacy and then Mariah decides to help Abby and Chance have a baby. Elena tells Devon that the reason she slept with Nate is because Nate made her feel needed. Devon apologizes to Elena for making her feel like he didn’t need her. Devon and Elena long talk leads to them making love.

Sharon tells Rey she is considering treating Chelsea and he tells her that he trusts her but he doesn’t trust Adam.  Mariah talks to Sharon about being a surrogate for Abby and Chance.  Sharon tells Mariah to consider how she will feel when she carries a child she will not raise.  Summer subtly warns Sally to stay in her lane or she will tell everyone about the information she found out in Los Angeles.  Sally tells Lauren she can’t work on the project with Spencer Publications because she and Wyatt Spencer were in a relationship that ended badly.  A bad snowstorm strands Elena with Devon, Jack with Sally, and Kyle with Summer.

Victoria takes advantage of the fact her business trip was canceled due to the weather and persuades Billy to spend the day with her and the kids. Summer tells Phyllis what she learned about Sally while she was in Los Angeles with Kyle. Phyllis tells Summer to be careful around Sally and hold on to the information she has learned about Sally. Kyle tells Summer that Sally spoke to him and she seems scared that he and Summer will tell everyone about her past. Abby and Chance ask Mariah to be their surrogate. Mariah is shocked by the question and leaves the Chancellor mansion quickly to talk to Tessa about the situation.

Faith has a meltdown at Society because her parents don’t understand her. Nikki tells Faith that she can call her anytime she needs to talk. Gloria returns to town and tells Kevin that she is moving in with him and Chloe since she was fired from her job in Los Angeles when her boss found out she was going to blackmail him. Rey is worried that Sharon’s eagerness to help Adam with Chelsea may bring her and Adam closer together. Dr. Cabot advises Adam that Chelsea needs a phycologist to help Chelsea with her mental distress that is affecting her recovery. Flo tells Summer that Sally pretended to have a terminal illness so Wyatt would not break up with her. Flo explains to Summer that when she found out the truth and was going to tell Wyatt Sally kidnapped her. Flo concludes the story by telling Summer that Sally tried to get Wyatt to sleep with her so she could get pregnant by him. Lauren likes Sally’s marketing plan for Fenmore’s that will use established influencers to advertise the company.

Victor and Mariah offer a listening ear to Chance and Abby as they struggle to deal with the news that Abby can’t have children. Traci tells the news about Abby so he can be there for her when she needs him since the Abbotts are always there for each other when one of them has a problem. Abby checks into the Grand Phoenix for the night to be alone so she can think and cry. She then dreams that a baby is crying and she soothes the baby back to sleep. Abby returns home and tells Chance that she still wants to have a family with him so they decide to explore their options on how they can have a family.

Lily persuades Nate to be the face of the new medical website that Chancellor Communications just acquired. Amanda tells Elena all about finding her biological family. Sharon tells Nikki about Faith’s drinking and Nikki decides to have a heart-to-heart talk with Faith. Victor calls a specialist to help with Abby’s condition but Chance worries that he is getting Abby’s hopes up about being able to get pregnant. Abby gets even more depressed after Victor speaks to a specialist who tells her she has too much scarring to be able to carry a baby to term. Faith gets upset with Sharon because she told Nikki about her drinking since she doesn’t feel that she needs a lecture about drinking from her grandmother. Nate and Elena celebrate Nate becoming the face of AskMDNow. Elena dreams of Devon after she has been with Nate then she tells Nate that she just forgot where she was for a second. Devon asks Amanda if she would like to go on their first official date.

Abby tells Mariah about her problems getting pregnant and that she is nervous about her appointment with her doctor. Mariah calls Tessa and they all have a girl’s night out at Society. Chance also leaves flowers and a note for Abby when she gets home. Phyllis tells Victoria the information she has on her, but she makes it clear that she has decided to take the high road and not use it against her. Phyllis is surprised when Nick tells her that he is glad she decided not to blackmail Victoria, but he wouldn’t have minded if Victoria got a taste of her own medicine. Summer and Kyle meet with Wyatt Spencer and set up another meeting to discuss a marketing plan for JCV with Spencer publications. Summer also notices the stunned expression on Wyatt’s face when she mentions Sally’s name to him. Summer later tells Kyle that based on Wyatt’s reaction she is sure Sally is hiding a big secret. Lauren asks Sally to submit design ideas for Fenmore’s new clothing line that they acquired from Jabot. Lauren tells Jack that she is hoping that this new project will distract Sally from trying to take Summer’s job.

Victoria tells Billy she has a business meeting and asks him to take the kids to a school skating party. Billy cancels his plans with Lily to take the kids to the party and then when Billy arrives to take the kids to the party Victoria tells him her business meeting ended early. Victoria tells Billy the kids want to go to the skating party as a family. Amanda talks to Lily and Devon and tells them that Imani filed a restraining order against her. Amanda is deeply hurt by this but is determined to live without her biological family. Devon encourages her to keep the door open for her family. Devon tells Nate that Moses wants to come to town to finish high school and study pre-med in college so Sofia requested that he ask Nate if he could mentor Moses. Nate turns down Sofia’s request, but Elena thinks Nate would be a great mentor for Moses. Chelsea has a bad day of therapy and Adam struggles to keep up her spirits. Abby’s doctor schedules surgery to remove scar tissue from her miscarriage and also see if there is a reason she can’t get pregnant.

Rey and Sharon return from their honeymoon and are surprised by Mariah, Faith, and Nick with a welcome home brunch. Billy and Lily get back on the Jabot jet after buying the medical website they wanted, and they are happy they made the deal. Billyand Lily have a long talk about his one-night stand with Summer. Lily helps Billy realize that when people hurt him all he wats to do is hurt them in return without thinking about how they feel or how it might affect the people they love. Billy and Lily tell each other their flaws so that they can work on them and strengthen their relationship.. Nick and Sharon decide to find Faith a therapist so she can talk to someone about what is bothering her before she makes dangerous choices. Faith talks to Jordan and tells her that her parents are really worried about her drinking so they have to be more careful, but they can still have fun. Amanda tells Devon everything that happened with Naya and Imani and that she is ready to put her biological family in the past. Devon encourages Amanda to keep the door open with her family but not to set false expectations for them. Amanda is shocked when she is served with court papers.

Abby is dizzy and nauseous, so she takes two home pregnancy tests which are both negative. Abby wants to make an appointment with her doctor, but Chance asks her to wait a few months while they keep trying to get pregnant. Billy apologizes to Summer for their one-night stand and admits that he took advantage of her feelings for him. Summer forgives Billy and tells him they don’t talk about the subject again. Lily overhears the last part of Summer and Billy’s conversation and asks Billy about it later. Billy tells Lily what happened between him and Summer and she is upset and tells him she needs time to think about their personal relationship. Once they have rested and freshened up from their flight, Summer calls Wyatt Spencer and sets up a meeting so she and Kyle can talk to him about Jabot collective and Sally. Amanda talks to her biological mother Naya who tells her she got pregnant in college and it was a mistake. Naya explains that her parents were religious so she carried the babies to term and Rose could only take care of one of the babies and her parents didn’t tell her what they did with the other child. Naya also tells Amanda that her father died in a car accident. Imani arrives and Naya finally tells her the truth about Amanda and Hilary.

Nate tells Elena that he still feels the effects of the anesthesia after the second surgery on his hand.  He is sad because the doctor told him that the nerve damage to his hand is too severe and the chances that he will be able to perform surgery again are slim to none.  Elena tries her best to cheer up Nate by asking him to watch a movie at her place.  Nate doesn’t feel like watching a movie so Elena suggests he talk about his feelings while she listens to him.

Rey questions Chance who tells him that Alyssa was angry with Adam because he killed her father when he was eleven years old.  Alyssa was also angry with Billy because she felt he used her  since he never gave her the credit she deserved for the article about Adam.  Rey tells Michael about the evidence he found in Alyssa’s room and that he is having the gloves tested for powder residue and secondary DNA.  Michael calls Amanda and tells her to come to the police station so they can talk.  Michael apologizes to Billy for putting him in jail because once Rey confronted Alyssa with the evidence against her she confessed to attempting to shoot Adam because she wanted to seek revenge because Adam  killed her father when Adam was a little boy.  Once Billy is released, he thanks Amanda and Lily for all the hard work they did to prove his innocence.  Victoria notices the strong connection between Billy and Lily and she looks a little jealous about it.

Elena and Devon wish each other well as they move on with their lives and Devon tells Elena he thinks maybe they are finally where they are supposed to be. Lily offers Nate a job as the face of the new medical website that Chancellor Communications will be buying soon. Nate tells Elena about the job and she thinks he should take it. Amanda’s half-sister Amani arrives to tell Amanda she thinks she is a con-artist and she will destroy her if she doesn’t leave her mother alone. Amanda decides to go and talk to her mother and finally get answers why she didn’t give both her and Hilary to Rose.
Billy, Lily, Kyle, and Summer share the Abbott jet to go to Seattle and Los Angeles respectively and are having a very tension filled trip because Kyle isn’t happy that Billy and Lily are on the plane. The pilot comes over the loudspeaker and tells everyone that they will be hitting some turbulence and everyone is worried.

Summer confronts Sally who admits to Summer that she is after her job and tells her that she intends to come out on top and take the job from her. Summer later tells Kyle that Sally intends to use him to take her job away from her. Kyle tells Summer that if they stay focused on their jobs and their relationship Sally won t be able to hurt them. Amanda visits Billy in jail and tells him everything Lily found out about Alyssa. Amanda decides to move ahead with a risky plan to get Billy out of jail since Billy told her to take the risk to get him out of jail. Amanda calls Lily to ask her to talk to Try and tell him everything she found out about Alyssa. Once Rey hears the information about Alyssa he decides to investigate to confirm what Lily told him.. Rey goes to Alyssa’s hotel room where he finds the shooting gloves and he puts them in an evidence bag and heads to the police station to have tests run on the gloves.

Billy has a sleepless night in jail because he has a terrible nightmare in which everyone in his family except Asley, Traci, Jill, Lily, and Amanda believe that he didn’t shoot Chance.  Billy spends years in jail in the nightmare and in the end Lily is able to use Chancellor  communications sources to uncover a witness and persuade her to testify and get Billy’s conviction overturned.  Billy is set fre in the dream and when he awakens from the dream he is positive that together he and Lily will prove his innocence.

Jack and Sally share embarrassing things about each other and, later, Jack tells Summer that Sally reminds him of himself when he was younger, so he intends to be a mentor for Sally. Kyle doesn’t want to go to Los Angeles with Summer to dig up dirt on Sally but changes his mind when he has a conversation with Sally and he realizes that she is a manipulative person. Devon has a romantic dream about Amanda. Amanda tells Devon that her biological mother, Naya, texted her to tell her she wasn’t ready to talk to her yet. Amanda calls her biological mother one more time to say that she just wants to talk to her. Amanda is surprised when her half-sister Amari arrives demanding she not to leave her mother alone. Adam blames Billy and the Chancellor Communications story for causing Chelsea’s stroke. Billy tells Adam that he is the one that cut off the electricity in the elevator which led to Chelsea’s fall. Adam pleads with Lily not to do a story about Chelsea’s illness because Connor doesn’t know about his mother’s condition. Billy and Lily have an argument about whether or not to do the story. Billy talks to Jack and realizes that his hatred of Adam could make him lose Lily. Billy apologizes to Lily and decides that Chancellor Communications won’t do any stories about Adam. The stroke specialist arrives to help Chelsea recover from her stroke.

Lola tells Faith she was also bullied when she was her age but she eventually found real friends that understood her. Sharon helps Nick understand that Phyllis isn’t the kind of woman that likes to be rescued by anyone. Nick talks to Phyllis later and tells her that they will set up a payment plan for the money that he loaned her so that she could keep the hotel. Nina gives Chance and Abby an angel tree topper that Chance’s grandma Katherine gave to him when he was a little boy. Lily sneaks into Alyssa’s room add finds a picture of her father AJ and later she looks his name up on the internet and finds out that he had won trophies for marksmanship. Lily later tells Amanda that she saw a pair of shooting gloves in Alysa’s hotel room that were similar to the gloves AJ was wearing in the picture she saw in Alyssa’s hotel room.

Kevin makes the mistake of telling Phyllis that he persuaded Gloria not to blackmail the man who was embezzling money from Newman Enterprises. Kevin also tells Phyllis that he thinks Victoria found out what was happening because the man suddenly retired and the money was put back into the Newman Enterprises account a few days later. Phyllis promises Kevin a lot of money if he will help her blackmail Victoria so she can get the money she needs to pay back the loan Nick gave her. Adam argues with Nate because Nate doesn’t think it’s a good idea to take Chelsea home. Adam gets Victor to hire a nurse and get equipment to convert the den of the penthouse into a hospital room for Chelsea. Amanda talks to Devon and tells him that she persuaded her biological mother to come to Genoa City to talk to her. Elena sees Devon and Amanda talking and later tells Nate that she is ready to sleep with him again. Amanda’s biological mother Naya sends a text to Amanda telling her she can’t meet with her today.
