John Brenan meets Valentine inside a limo because he briefly took him out of Pentonville so they can talk about Sonny. Valentine tells John he has come up with a plan to take down Sonny. Valentine explains to John that he has fixed it so Sonny will only get one fourth of his bipolar medication with the other two-thirds of his medication being a placebo.

Jason tells Sonny that he has been an FBI informant to save himself from going to prison. Jason also tells Sonny he didn’t shoot Dante, but Sonny doesn’t believe him and adds him to his list of traitors which also includes Carly and Michael.

Carly can’t figure out why Sonny thinks that everyone that loves him has betrayed him.

Dante awakens and tells Anna Jason didn’t shoot him, but he saved his life. Anna tells Carly that Dante is awake and told her Jason didn’t shoot him.

Ava notices a text message for Sonny from Sam that tells him Dante is awake and he told Anna Jason didn’t shoot him but saved his life. Ava only tells Sonny Dante is awake and convinces him not to go see Dante until tomorrow. Sonny tells Ava she is the only one he can trust and they kiss.

Stella talks to Sam about moving Dante to Turning Woods so Dante’s body can have a better chance to heal and wake up. Sam decides to talk to Sonny and Olivia about Turning Woods. A short time later, Sam sees Dante knock her water bottle which is on the table by his bed to the floor. Sam asks Dante to open his eyes, but Dante’s eyes remain closed.

Diane and Molly make their case at Jason’s arraignment. Diane wins and the judge grants bail of five million dollars for Jason which Michael posts for him. Jason tells Michael he can’t go home with him yet because he needs to go some place before he goes home.

Carly is upset with Sonny because he wasn’t at Jason’s arraignment. Sonny tells Carly that he doesn’t owe Jason his loyalty if Jason shot Dante. Carly can’t believe that Sonny would think that Sonny shot Dante.

Jason’s family and friends take sides about whether Jason shot Dante. Jason’s two sons get into a physical fight because Jake thinks Jason is guilty, but Danny thinks Jason is innocent.

Jocelyn thinks Jason is innocent while Trina thinks Jason was the person who might have shot Curtis. The best friends agree to disagree about Jason and then gets Trina to talk about her trip to Paris with Spencer.

Molly thinks Jason is innocent until proven guilty and she is upset she has to persuade a judge not to grant Jason bail.

Kristina thinks Jason is guilty. Kristina thinks Molly should do her job and put Jason in jail.

Brook Lynn brings Jason a letter from Monica telling him that she doesn’t think he shot Dante.

Sam talks to Jason. She believes he didn’t shoot Dante, but she tells Jason to stay away from Danny when Jason tells him that Danny brought him a first aid kit when he was hiding in the boat house.

Anna asks Dex to work for the PCPD as a way to stay in Port Charles and be safe from Sonny.

Brook Lynn and Chase decide to move up the date of their wedding because Gregory’s condition is getting worse and he is having respiratory problems. Brook Lynn and Chase decide to have a smaller more intimate wedding.

Michael goes to talk to Sonny about Jason, but Sonny doesn’t want to hear a word about Jason. Sonny insists that Carly, Michael, and Jason betrayed him.

Ava tells Sonny he can depend on her and they kiss.

Anna asks Jason to tell her the truth so she can help him. Anna tells Jason that John Cates went by the nickname Jagger and Robin told her that he and Jagger both tried to win the heart of Karen Wexler when they were in high school. Anna tells Jason that he and Jagger used to be friends in high school until they both fell in love with Karen.
Jason tells Anna he doesn’t remember high school because of his brain injury. Anna also tells Jason that Britt was killed and her killer is in custody. Jason tells Anna the past two and a half years he has been working as an undercover FBI informant inside the Pikeman organization because John threatened to put him in jail for twenty years for RICO violations. Jason also confirms to Anna that Pikeman has tried to kill Sonny two times before the attempt at the warehouse. Jason also tells Anna that John knew he and Hamish were up on the roof aiming for Sonny. Jason tells Anna Hamish shot Dante and then someone from Pikeman killed Hamish. Jason tells Anna, if Dante dies, he will go to jail for life. Anna tells Jason not to give up on Dante and that if he saved Dante it will help his case.

Michael tells Jason that Elizabeth was at risk of losing her job because of the antibiotics Willow stole from the hospital to help him but he asked Spinelli to hack into the hospital computer to fix the problem with the hospital medication inventory. Michael tells Jason that he can help him disappear, but Jason decides to ask Diane to go with him to the police station to turn himself to the police.

Jason walks into the police station and is arrested by Chase.

Diane tells Jason that he is in big trouble this time, but she will try to get his arraignment set tomorrow. Jason tells Diane that he knows he won’t be in jail very long.

Brook Lynn and Marie are very angry with Lucy because Sasha decided to leave Deception. Sasha tells Lucy and Marie that she doesn’t want to be a model anymore and wants to look for a more meaningful career.

Willow tells Michael that the antibiotics she stole to help Jason has shown up missing on the hospital computer and Elizabeth could lose her job. Michael calls Spinelli to hack into the hospital computer and make it seem like the missing medication message was a computer error.

Cody and Sasha quit Deception after a bad photoshoot makes them both think that the modeling profession is meaningless.

Drew tells Nina that he feels rage and hatred toward her, but since he broke up with Carly, he is offering her the job as editor of Crimson back and, if she doesn’t take the job, he will shut down the magazine.

Heather went into surgery to replace her hip. Laura asks Kevin to see if Heather metallosis could be a good reason for Heather to get an early release from prison.

Tracy goes to the stables to talk to Cody about the condition of her horse. James is there visiting Cody and James doesn’t like that Tracy spoke to Cody in a rude tone and he tells her that she isn’t a good boss. James tells Tracy that Cody’s best friend is sick and she shouldn’t be mean to him. James tries to feed the horses and he spills the bucket of oats and he persuades Tracy to help him and Cody clean because he tells her that his grandpa Mac always says that if you want to be a good boss you have to be willing to do everything your employees do.

Alexis tells Molly that she and Diane are trying to get her disbarment overturned but Molly tells her that the chances of that happening is very slim and she is worried that if her disbarment isn’t overturned, she will start drinking again. Alexis tells Molly that she can’t promise she won’t start drinking again but she will do everything she can do not to drink again.

Anna tells John she knows who Sonny really is and what he is capable of. Anna admits she was blinded by all the good things Sonny had done. John admits that she questioned Danny without an adult present. Brook Lynn tells Chase that he should be ashamed of himself for questioning Danny without an adult present

John questions Elizabeth about Jason and she tells him that that Jason is innocent until proven guilty.

Danny spends some time with Jason. Father and son get to know each other. John sees Danny on the Quartermaine grounds and questions him about Jason. Brooke Lynn saves Danny and makes it clear that he shouldn’t question Danny without a lawyer present.

Willow tells Jason that Danny could get in trouble if John questions him. Jason tells Willow to make sure that the people who helped him will not get in trouble. Willow tells Jason he will be able to leave in a couple of days.

Dex confesses to Anna that he almost killed Cyrus on Sonny’s orders. He also tells Anna about the Pikeman evidence he had on Sonny. Anna tells Dex she can’t bring charges against Sonny because she doesn’t have any evidence against him, so this conversation never happened. Dex tells Anna if she wants to take Sonny he will help her.

Nina is very angry about a story that The Invader ran about Sonny. Nina forbids The Invader to run any stories about Sonny. Nina later screams at Gregory and tells him to correct all of the spelling mistakes in his article because she doesn’t know that he has ALS and his hands have a hard time typing. Alexis is very angry and tells Gregory Nina had no right to talk to him that way. Gregory is very logical and tells Alexis that Nina doesn’t know he has ALS. Gregory tells Alexis that this will be his last article for The Invader because Nina made him realize that he can’t work for the paper anymore Gregory gets Finn to help him make corrections to the article and post it to The Invader website.

Alexis later talks to Diane and tells her she doesn’t want to work for the paper anymore. Diane tells Alexis she thinks she can get her disbarment overturned so she can be a lawyer again.

Finn calls a neurologist friend of his to see if he can look at Gregory’s medical file because he thinks Gregory’s ALS is progressing very rapidly.

Heather is diagnosed with metallosis which means that the cobalt in her hip replacement is poisoning her causing her physical and mental problems. Heather asks Laura if she should have the surgery to get a better hip replacement and, since Laura thinks she should do it, Heather decides to have the surgery.

Sonny talks to Lois and tells her he is confused about why Jason wants to kill him. Sonny also doesn’t know for sure if Jason shot Dante and he is also feeling guilty because the last time he talked to Dante he told him to stop standing in his way.

Anna and Molly are also conflicted between the Jason they used to know and the Jason that has returned to Port Charles. Anna and Molly want to believe that Jason would never shoot Sonny and Dante. If he did, he is either being pressured by someone to do it or he is doing it to protect Sonny.

Drew and Willow have a long talk about the fact that he broke up with Carly because Jason will always be first in her heart. Jason tells Michael what he has been doing for the past two years. Jason explains to Michael that after he found his way out of the cave on Cassidine Island he tried to help Brit and the others, but he couldn’t help them. Jason made his way out of the cave and two men were waiting outside. He was taken somewhere and put in a room with no windows. Jason tells Michael that a man whose identity he can’t reveal to him has leverage so powerful on him that the man forced him to be a mercenary all this time. Jason found out Hamish was going to kill Sonny, so he made sure Hamish missed the shot. Jason later recalls a meeting he had with John after he was brought to Quantico from Greece. John tells Jason he has proof of RICO charges that could put him in jail for twenty years.

Drew breaks up with Carly and fires her from Crimson because he knows that he was just fine as long as she thought Jason was dead. Drew knows that Carly will always choose Jason and he doesn’t want to fight a losing battle. Drew heads to

Jordan wonders why Drew didn’t defend his brother. Drew tells Jordan that he doesn’t know Jason well enough anymore to know if he the gym to let off some steam and he runs into Jordan. Jordan tells Drew she wishes she was a cop again because being Deputy Mayor can be tedious. Jordan talks her doubts through with Drew and decides to remain Deputy Mayor because she can do more for the city as Deputy Mayor. Drew tells Jordan that he broke up with Carly a little while ago because Jason will always come first with her. Drew tells Jordan that he hopes Jason will turn himself into the police. shot Dante.

Jason asks Danny to go get Michael and take him to the boathouse. Michael talks to Danny and later tells Willow to go with him to the boathouse to help an injured Jason. Jason tells Michael and Willow that Hamish shot Dante and, when Hamish saw that Jason was helping Dante, Hamish shot Dante and Jason. Jason tells Michael and Willow Hamish is dead and now the police are after him because they think he shot Dante.

Sam tells Carly to call the police if Jason contacts her. She should call the police because he needs to go to jail if he shot Dante.

Curtis tells Marshall he found the doctor that misdiagnosed him and they should go talk to him.

Sonny tells Anna that he isn’t sure that Jason shot Dante, but he needs to be found so they can find out the truth.

Finn tells Heather she has a weakened heart muscle and he has been asked to run more tests to determine the cause of the heart problem. Heather is heartbroken when Laura tells her she is being transferred to San Quentin and she can never see Ace again.

Sam has mixed feelings about Jason’s return. She asks Dante to wake up so he can help her make sense of the situation.

Drew and Carly have a talk about Jason. Carly tells Drew that she loves him and the fact that Jason has returned doesn’t change her feelings for him. Drew tells Carly that she has loved him, Sonny, and Jax but none of them holds the place Jason does in her heart.

Danny goes to the Quartermaine stables to vape and is stunned to find Jason. Jason swears on Danny’s life that he didn’t shoot Dante. Danny goes to the main house to get Jason a first aid kit. Jason asks Danny not to tell Sam that he saw him or his whereabouts.
