Maggie told John and Marlena that she and Konstantin were engaged. She said the marriage was in name only. While she was talking to them, she said Konstantin signed the prenup. She said she felt like she owed him because he was kind to her after Victor’s death. John thought that she did it because of what he did to Konstantin’s daughter. Sloan watched Eric and Nicole holding hands. When Sloan approached them, Nicole left. Sloan wanted to know what was going on. Eric told her he wanted to talk at home. Leo told EJ that he had something to tell him that would change his life. EJ wanted to know what Leo had to say. Leo said he had to pay him before he told him. When EJ got upset, he told Leo to tell him what he had to say, and it better be good. Leo confirmed that it was good. Maggie told John that he was following orders. She said she believed Victor would approve of what she did. While she was explaining her decision, Marlena said she would support her decision. Konstantin showed up while they were talking. He said he hoped John and Marlena would attend. Sloan asked Eric if he really didn’t know that Nicole would be working at the Spectator. Eric said he didn’t know. He said Nicole was trying to be friendly. Sloan thought he looked cozy. Eric said Sloan walked out on him and didn’t know where she was. Leo told EJ that he wanted his money. EJ wanted to know what he was talking about. Leo said he would give him a teaser. It was about someone close to him. EJ guessed Nicole. Leo told him he had three children. EJ wanted to know what he was talking about. Leo told him Jude was his son, but EJ said it wasn’t possible. EJ was shocked. Marlena told Konstantin and Maggie that she and John would be at the wedding. Maggie said they could get married right away. Konstantin said there was things he had to take care of first.

Sloan yelled at Eric when he said he didn’t think she would come back. She asked if he thought she was going to abandon her son. Eric said he felt like she was going to leave. Sloan said she felt hurt when he was upset about the money. Eric apologized for not trusting and forgiving her. He said he wanted to be a better husband for him. Sloan said he could start by believing her about Leo and her motives for helping him out. She said it was hurtful to have her husband think of her as a liar. EJ said he didn’t believe Leo because he was drunk. Leo told EJ that his son didn’t die. He said he tried to tell him before, but he didn’t believe him. EJ threatened to hurt Leo if he didn’t leave. Leo said his son was alive. When Marlena and Maggie said they had to leave, Konstantin asked John to stay. John told him Maggie cared about him. Konstantin wasn’t sure. He said he had a plan to get the prenup. Leo told EJ that he wasn’t lying. EJ ripped into Leo for knowing about the baby all this time without saying anything. Leo said he tried to tell them the truth. He said he blackmailed Sloan, but the money stopped. EJ thought he was there for money and said he wasn’t going to give it to him. Eric told Sloan that he didn’t understand why she would pay for Leo’s hotel room. He said he didn’t believe her about paying Leo’s hotel room. Eric asked if Leo was blackmailing her. Sloan admitted to Eric that he was blackmailing her. Eric wanted to know why. She said Leo uncovered humiliating things from her past. He wanted to know what it was, but she didn’t want to talk about it. Sloan said she thought he would leave her if he knew the truth. She said Leo took advantage of her. Eric said he wasn’t going to let Leo get away with it. Sloan told him not to confront him. Eric threatened to kill Leo. Konstantin pulled out the pawn card on John. John asked if he needed something from him. Konstantin told him to break into the safe and steal the prenup. When Leo went to his room, Eric showed up. Eric demanded to know why Leo was blackmailing his wife. EJ went to see Sloan and wanted to know if Jude was his. He said he was going to take his son and have her arrested for kidnapping after he proved Jude was his. John went to the safe. Konstantin heard a noise and saw Maggie. Maggie said she left something and could get it, but he told her she couldn’t. When they went into the study, John was gone. Maggie left the room. When she left, John had the prenup. Leo told Eric that he had to confess something to him. EJ told Sloan that Leo told him that Jude was his and Nicole’s baby. Sloan said he was only half right. EJ wanted to know what she was talking about. Sloan said Jude was Nicole’s baby but not his.

Leo blamed Sloan for why Dimitri dumped him. She wanted to know how it was her fault. He told her that he recommended her and Dimitri ended up in the slammer where he met a new man. Ava wanted Roman to hire her at the pub. Roman allowed her to work there on a trial run. She had one week to impress him. Harris talked to Marlena about putting the past behind him. He was wondering why Marlena was asking him so many questions. She said she cared about him. He let her know that John asked him about his time at Bayview. Harris wondered if John was okay. Ava arrived so Marlena left. Harris wondered if Roman gave her the lease. She said he wouldn’t give her a lease without a job and hired her at the pub. They talked about sneaking into the Bistro. Stefan and Kristen talked about EJ. He told her that Nicole would get upset if she knew EJ could have prevented Holly from getting drugs. Stefan believed EJ would do anything to keep Nicole from leaving. Nicole wondered why Eric brought Jude to the office. She wanted to know if something was wrong. Harris and Ava searched the Bistro. Leo told Sloan that he was upset about Dimitri. He brought up what he did to Gwen. Leo felt like he was blinded by love He was ready to give up on love. Eric told Nicole about his fight with Sloan. Sloan felt like she wasn’t good enough for him. He wondered if that sounded familiar. Nicole said it did. He apologized for making her feel that way. Nicole was sure they would work things out. She realized they probably shouldn’t work together. Stefan wanted to get through to the board. Kristen wanted to do that too. He didn’t think Shin would allow him to be the CEO. Kristen thought EJ was an egomaniac and thought he should have it all. Stefan felt like that would be EJ’s downfall.

Kristen put Stefan on notice that she wouldn’t deal with Gabi running the company when she got out of prison. Stefan gave his word that he would tell Gabi to stand down. Kristen told him that the best way to free Gabi is to find out who killed Li. Stefan said that Li made a deathbed confession. Eric was surprised that Nicole didn’t want to work together. Nicole didn’t tell EJ because she knew he wouldn’t like it. Eric knew Sloan wouldn’t like it either. Leo cried over Dimitri. Sloan tried to make him feel better, but he didn’t want to hear it. She said that Eric was the one who cut him off. Nicole felt like working with Eric would cause friction and thought they shouldn’t do it. He said he needed the job. She needed it too. Leo said he didn’t want to hurt Eric and Jude. Sloan wanted to have an understanding. Stefan walked in on Harris and Ava at the Bistro. He planned to tell the police if they didn’t tell him why they were there. Harris reminded him that he’s the police. Ava said it wasn’t what he thought. Stefan said they were in his restaurant and Harris didn’t have a warrant. Ava told him the truth about the book. Harris said the book was how they could take him down. Stefan wanted to know how he could help. They found the book in a bottle. Leo considered going to EJ to tell him the truth about the baby. Sloan saw Nicole and Eric with Jude. Leo arrived at the DiMera mansion. He wanted to tell EJ the truth for a price. EJ wanted him to talk, but Leo said it would cost him.

Paulina and Johnny took Chanel to the hospital. Chanel told Kayla what was going on with her. Paulina asked if it was radiation poisoning. Leo asked Chad for the reporter job, but he was too late. Chad said Nicole got the job. Leo asked for raise for the work he does. Chad wanted to talk about it during a review. Leo said he needed to make money since Dimitri was getting out. Kayla told Paulina that she wanted to rule out radiation poisoning by running tests on Chanel. She told Paulina and Johnny to leave the room. Eric and Sloan argued over her helping Leo. While they were arguing she said Nicole told her she never felt good enough for him. Sloan said she wasn’t good enough either and left the apartment. She said she needed space. Johnny tried to make Paulina feel better about Chanel. While they were talking, Paulina told Johnny that she would deserve the press going after her. Chad called Eric for an interview. Sloan went to see Leo. She said she wanted to make sure he and Dimitri kept quiet about Jude. Leo said they owed her nothing since she cut him off. She said Eric would be heartbroken if he told the truth. Sloan wanted him to keep quiet for Eric and Jude.

When Nicole went to the Spectator, she and Chad talked about the story on Paulina. Chad wondered where she got the tip about Paulina. Paulina wanted Johnny to blame her for what’s going on with Chanel. Johnny said he didn’t want to yell at her because he cared about her. He said she was doing what she thought was right. Kayla showed up while they were talking about updated them on Chanel. When Johnny went to see Chanel, Paulina asked why Chanel was sick when she was better. Paulina blamed herself for Chanel being in danger. Sloan tried to convince Leo that EJ and Nicole would make terrible parents. Leo said it wouldn’t take much for the truth to come out. Sloan said the only thing telling the truth would do was caused trouble. She advised him and Dimitri to start a new life. Nicole told Chad that she couldn’t reveal her sources. She told him she happened to find the information. Chad told her not to hesitate to give him any information. Leo told Sloan that leaving town sounded interesting. Sloan told him about different places they could go. When Sloan left, Leo wondered what her information meant to EJ. Kayla told Chanel, Johnny, and Paulina that Chanel was pregnant. When Kayla wasn’t happy about the pregnancy, she told Johnny and Chanel that her pregnancy was high risk because of the radiation. Kayla said they were going to continue to monitor the baby.

Chad talked to Paulina about putting the town at risk by going to the cabin. Marlena talked to Everett about his memories. Julie told Maggie that she didn’t have radiation. They talked about Julia’s isolation. While they were talking, Maggie told Julie that she is marrying Konstantin. Konstantin pulled out the pawn card on John. He told John that he had a mission for him to serve. Paulina asked Chad if EJ asked him to write the story about her. Chad said he didn’t talk to EJ. He said he wanted to know what happened. Paulina said there was a snowstorm, and her daughter was missing. Chad said she took a snowplow without permission and wanted to get her side of the story. Konstantin told John that Maggie agreed to marry him, but she was keeping him from getting Victor’s money. John wanted to know what he needed him for. Everett told Marlena that she was a quack. He said he signed the divorce papers and wanted to move on with his life. Marlena told him he would benefit from therapy even if it wasn’t with her. Everett said he wouldn’t be continuing therapy with her or anyone else. He said he was ready to move on. He walked away from her and left the pub. Paulina told Chad that the situation was blown out of proportion. Chad said he heard the firefighters had to wear Haz mat suits. He said he knew she left the hospital without getting cleared. Paulina said her numbers were down, so she thought it was okay. Chad asked her about getting the snowplow and wanted to know how she knew how to drive one. When Paulina gave him a vague answer, he asked if she was confirming what happened. Maggie told Julie while she was marrying Konstantin. She thanked Julie for understanding. Julie told Maggie about protecting herself. Maggie said she had a pre-nup. She said Konstantin knows that if she died before him, her money would go to Victor’s children. Julie said she supported what she was doing.

Konstantin told John that he wanted him to break in Maggie’s safe and get the pre-nup. While Konstantin was giving John orders, Marlena showed up. She wanted to know why his door was locked. Paulina said she knows someone was trying to set her up. Chad ripped into Paulina for risking her life and other people’s lives by leaving the hospital. Paulina said Chanel was okay, so it turned out fine. Chad said she still risked everyone’s lives with what she did. Paulina said he would have done the same thing she did. She said everyone was fine. Paulina told him to ask Chanel if she would have rather been in the snow. Stephanie went to the Spectator and ran into Everett. She talked to him about his mood. While they were talking, she brought up him signing the divorce papers. She asked if he was relieved that he signed them. John opened the door for Marlena. She asked why the door was locked. When she realized Konstantin was in the office, she asked if she was interrupting something. Konstantin said he was there to invite them to his wedding. When Konstantin left, she asked John what was going on with Konstantin. John said he didn’t remember what Konstantin wanted. Everett talked to Stephanie about not wanting to sign the divorce papers. He said she helped him realize that he needed to put the divorce behind him. While they were talking, Chad showed up. When Chad left, Everett told Stephanie that he wanted to put Bobby behind him. She wanted to know why he didn’t want to question his past. He thought it was a waste of time. Stephanie wanted him to answer the questions in his life. Everett said he wanted to live in the here and now. While they were talking, he lied and said Marlena dismissed him from his therapy.

Sloan called Leo to ask about Eric’s job at the Spectator. She said he wouldn’t be seeing her money if she didn’t have money to pay rent. Leo said he would work on it. While they were talking, Chad walked in the room. Leo got off the phone. Chad wanted to know if the article was ready to go online. Leo hinted that they needed a backup photographer. He suggested Eric work for them. Eric looked through Sloan’s charges. He assumed she was having an affair. Sloan called Melinda and told her Dimitri was set to be released from prison. She was concerned that he would say something about Jude. Eric called the bank to dispute Sloan’s charges. Chad told Leo that he would consider Eric, but he wasn’t hiring him right away. He asked Leo to do the job, but Leo turned it down. Paulina talked to Abe about EJ. She talked about the things EJ did wrong. Paulina wanted to put a stop to what he’s been doing. Abe warned her that people trying to stop EJ didn’t succeed. EJ asked Johnny to work for him at DiMera Enterprises. He wanted Johnny to think about it. Johnny didn’t want to do it. EJ said priorities changed now that he was married. Chanel told EJ she didn’t want Johnny to do what didn’t feel right. EJ told him he had the option to change his mind. Paulina called EJ so she could see him in her office. When he told her it was late, she warned him to be in her office.

Nicole went to the Spectator to apply for a reporter job. Chad asked her about her experience, but she didn’t have any. EJ showed up at Paulina’s office. Paulina ripped into EJ for what he did for Stefan. She reminded him that he worked for her and told him his actions had to stop now. Sloan called Leo again. She said they needed to talk and was on her way. Eric showed up at Leo’s room. Chad told Nicole that she had the job, but he gave her the ground rules. EJ reminded Paulina that she exposed others to radiation. She said her daughter was missing and needed to find her. EJ said no one was happy about her decision. Paulina said she didn’t regret what she did. Eric asked Leo if Sloan was paying for his room. Leo told him to ask Sloan. Eric said he thought she was having an affair, but he realized he was wrong. When Sloan knocked on the door, Leo told her to leave. Sloan told him Dimitri was going to be released from prison. She walked in his room and saw Eric. He asked her about the charges in her account. John and Steve talked about Konstantin’s ex. He didn’t understand how she disappeared without a trace. John felt like Konstantin had something to do with her disappearance. Steve thought he could hurt Maggie too. He was glad that his visa expired. They thought he would get out of Maggie’s life. Maggie told Xander and Sarah about Konstantin’s visa expiring. Xander was relieved that he was leaving. Sarah knew Maggie enjoyed his company. She was sorry she wouldn’t have his company anymore. Maggie said that she would. She felt responsible to help Konstantin stay because of Victor’s role in what happened to his daughter. Maggie told them she proposed to Konstantin and he accepted. John and Steve continued to talk about Konstantin. John felt like fate was telling them to leave things alone. He felt like Konstantin was going to take things to the next level with Maggie. Steve didn’t think they should let their guards down. Xander and Sarah were surprised Maggie wanted to get married so soon after Victor’s death. He refused to let her marry Konstantin. Kristen called Brady and asked him to chaperone Rachel’s school trip. He felt like she was up to something. Brady thought she didn’t trust him alone with Rachel. She reminded him about the custody arrangement. He finally caved and agreed to go on the field trip. Kristen thought Rachel would be happy to be on the trip with him. Alex arrived at the Kiriakis mansion. Xander was happy that Maggie was returning to the company. Maggie let him know she was getting married. Konstantin and Theresa ran into each other at the park. He told her that he’s getting married. Konstantin thought they should have a double wedding. Theresa informed him that she was doing her best to drive Alex crazy. He felt like she could make her next move. Maggie informed Alex that her marriage was in name only. Alex didn’t react the way she wanted. He informed her that no one is thrilled that she’s marrying Konstantin. Alex told her that he didn’t approve, but she didn’t care how he felt. She wanted him to leave so Xander showed him to the door. Sarah told Maggie that she couldn’t fault Alex and Xander for how they felt about Konstantin. Maggie said she did everything she could to keep Konstantin in the country. Sarah wanted to protect her heart.

Kristen talked to Rachel about Brady being on the trip with her. She didn’t see why Brady had to go. Kristen explained the situation. Rachel suggested that Kristen go on the trip with them. John believed that Konstantin forgave him. Steve wondered if Konstantin really forgave him after hating him for years. Konstantin arrived. Konstantin said it wasn’t John’s fault it happened. He blamed Steve for what happened to his daughter. Kristen explained that she and Brady didn’t always get along. She wanted Rachel to understand her point. Kristen thought it was supportive for them to be together. She confided in Rachel that she has a boyfriend. Kristen told her about Alex. Alex and Xander talked about being worried about Maggie marrying Konstantin. Xander planned to do everything he could to stop the wedding. Steve didn’t understand how Katarina’s death was his fault. Konstantin told him that he kept what happened to his daughter in the dark. He walked away. Steve wanted to know if John believed what he was saying. John looked at Konstantin when he walked away. Maggie talked to Konstantin about the wedding. She told him about the prenup. He was surprised by that. Konstantin read the agreement and signed the papers. Maggie put the prenup in the safe. He watched her put the combination in for the safe. Xander continued to express his disapproval over Maggie’s proposal. Sarah reminded him that she was helping Konstantin stay in the country. She expressed why Maggie needed Konstantin around.

Eric talked to Sloan about overhearing Leo talking to her. He wanted to know what was going on between him and Leo. Alex talked to Theresa about running to Maggie about him closing down the magazine. While EJ and Kristen were making small talk, they talked about DiMera Enterprises. EJ told her to be prepared for him to take over the company. Kristen told him she was prepared. While they were talking, she brought up EJ letting Stefan walk. Kristen said people talk. She said it would have been in his best interest to let Stefan go to prison because he wouldn’t be a threat to his power at the company. EJ didn’t answer her and told her he was late for a date. Sloan admitted to Eric that she called Leo because he owed her. Eric wanted to know why Leo owed her. She said she wanted to help his photography business. Theresa told Alex that she didn’t run to Maggie about the magazine. She said she needed her sponsor. Alex told her he was stuck with Maggie working at Titan but on his terms. Theresa told him it could be a good thing having Maggie back at Titan. Holly promised Nicole that she was going to be a better person. While Holly and Nicole were talking, Holly’s friend Sophia showed up. Holly and Sophia showed up at the pub while Tate was working. Theresa was upset that she couldn’t fix the magazine. Alex said it wasn’t her fault. She told him about the things she was willing to do to save the magazine. Eric told Sloan the numbers weren’t adding up. He said there was money that was not accounted for. Eric said he was starting to figure out what was going on.

Brady went to the DiMera mansion to pick up Rachel. Kristen told him Rachel went to school early. He said she could have called him. She said she got caught up with EJ, but suggested they have breakfast. Brady said he wasn’t interested in eating with her. He suggested picking Rachel up, but Kristen said she had a tutor. Brady was upset that Kristen didn’t tell him that Rachel had a tutor. When he said he was about to leave, she brought up telling Alex about the tutor. Kristen said Alex and Rachel were like two peas in a pod. Brady said he would talk to Rachel and find out if she and Alex were close. While Theresa was talking to Alex, she brought up Maggie being engaged to Konstantin. When Alex was shocked by the news, she asked him not to say anything. Sloan told Eric that he was off based. Eric said he counseled couples and thought she had a problem. He said they could get through it together and wanted her to tell him the truth. Sloan told him he wanted to stay at home with the baby. She said he was projecting his finances on her. He said that wasn’t what it was about. Sloan said she could pay for everything. Eric told her not to make herself out to be the martyr. She wanted to take Jude out for a walk before she said something as hurtful as he did. Kristen told Brady that Rachel would complement Alex. Brady said her plan wasn’t going to work. Kristen said everything wasn’t about him and told him to let himself out. Theresa told Alex that Maggie was probably holding on to her connection to Victor through Konstantin. Alex said he didn’t like the idea of Konstantin getting his hands on Victor’s money. He said he didn’t know what Maggie was thinking marrying a conman. When Eric got the mail, he found a past due notice for Sloan. He opened the envelope. While he was looking at the statement, he wondered what was going on when he saw charges for the Salem Inn.

Kayla ripped into Paulina for escaping the hospital and putting people’s lives at risk. Paulina said she understood what she was saying, but she had to save her daughter. Chanel apologized to Johnny for why they were going through it. Johnny said it wasn’t her fault. She said if she didn’t get lost none of this would have happened. He told her finding her was important. Kate talked to Roman about Lucas being stuck in the monastery. She was upset that Harris hasn’t gotten him out of there yet. When she asked where Harris was, Roman told her he left. Ava asked Harris if he regretted helping her. Harris said he didn’t. She said she wouldn’t be at the Bistro if Clyde didn’t want her to look for his black book. Harris said they could use the book to put Clyde away. He wanted to hurry up and find the book. Abe told Kayla that he took responsibility for Paulina leaving the hospital. Kayla said it wasn’t his fault. He asked how Paulina was doing. Kayla said Paulina’s levels were higher than she liked, but if everything went well, she could go home tomorrow. She went to check on Chanel. Kayla told Chanel that she had high levels of radiation, but she didn’t think she had anything to worry about. Johnny asked if she was good to go. Kayla told Chanel to let her know if she experienced any symptoms. Kate ran into Harris, but he told her it wasn’t a good time. She wanted to know why he was avoiding her. Ava snuck into the Bistro. While she was looking in the Bistro, Stefan showed up and wanted to know what she was doing. Harris told Kate that she wasn’t avoiding her. He said he was going to find Clyde and get Lucas out of the monastery. Kate told him Lucas was the reason why the drug dealers got caught. She said Harris got Lucas involved in his mess and he was going to help him. Paulina tried to justify why she left the hospital. She said she had to save her daughter. Abe said Paulina risked everyone’s lives. He said it wasn’t safe for her to leave the hospital. Paulina said she knew what she did was wrong, but her daughter was missing. Abe said her actions were ill-advised. Paulina said it was risky thing to do, but they all made it out alive.

Ava and Stefan argued over them working together and him getting out of jail. He said he regretted the things they did including them making love. Stefan said he would do everything again to protect his family. Ava said she would do things over too. She said there was something he wanted to tell him. Ava said she was feeling nostalgic about the good times they had there. While they were talking, Stefan told her he needed the keys back. When Kate came back to the pub, she told Roman that she threatened Harris to make sure Lucas was free or else. Ava gave Stefan back his keys and told him to take care of himself before she left the Bistro. Ava went to Harris and told him Clyde’s book was nowhere to be found. When Harris wanted to go back in the Bistro, Ava told him Stefan was in there and things got heated. While they were talking, Stefan showed up. Harris wanted to talk to Stefan. Ava left them alone. Stefan told Harris he wasn’t armed, but Harris said he was. Kayla ran into Ava and ripped into her for the damage she caused her family and nearly getting her son killed. Ava said she tried to protect her son. Kayla and Ava argued over what Ava did to save her son. While they were arguing, Kayla ripped into Ava for using Steve. Harris confronted Stefan about using EJ to get him out of prison. He reminded Stefan that he tried to kill him. Stefan said he did what he had to do. Harris thought he would have been in prison unless he had something on EJ. He asked if Stefan had something on his brother. Stefan evaded the question and apologized for shooting him. Roman came outside while Kayla and Ava were arguing. When Ava said she would get her key and go to her room, Roman told her she couldn’t stay at the pub.
