Phyllis and Amanda meet up. Phyllis is eager to pitch corporate media ideas to Amanda’s boss, Dumas, but Amanda tells her that he’s not interested in starting new businesses right now. Phyllis keeps pushing her. After Amanda leaves, Phyllis calls Summer, but Summer is busy. She then texts Nick to thank him for his help. She seems lonely.

Billy and Sally have breakfast, but he’s preoccupied and not listening to her. She wants to know why he’s so distracted. He doesn’t tell her, but she persists. She wonders if he’s feeling guilty for firing Phyllis after what Nick said. He assures her that’s not the case. They talk about her business ideas. Amanda comes by. Billy thinks that she’s there for Jill. She’s not, but she urges Billy to make up with his mom before it’s too late. He feels like Dumas is giving him the runaround.

Amy is happily reunited with her son; Damian while Nate, Devon and Lily are there, too. Lily offers Damian a job running their hotels, and he has some great ideas. He just has to have his lawyer look over their offer. Damian insists that Amy move to Genoa City to be near him. Everyone is supportive of his ideas, except for Devon, who seems skeptical. Lily supports Damian. Later, she assures Damian that Devon will come around.

At the Quartermaines’ manor, Brook Lynn tries to stick up for Gio with the family, saying that he’s very contrite about what happened with Rocco and Danny. Gio overhears part of it and tells them all again that he’s very sorry. He’s upset about it, so Lois goes out to the foyer to try to convince him that everything is fine. Lois follows later to tell him that Dante will forgive him, in time, and that he’s just seeing himself in Gio from when he was young. Dante arrives later and wonders what happened at the family meeting. Dante and Brook Lynn get into a little argument about Gio. Also, Ned and Olivia wonder to Lois about why Tracy seems so distracted lately, but she claims she doesn’t know.

Drew and Curtis have a tense conversation about Drew’s blackmail of Portia. Drew threatens to ruin her career and their finances. Curtis points out that no matter what they put out there, people will still remember the photo of him with the call girl. Drew smugly hopes that Aurora endorses Ezra for mayor and Prop C. Curtis recorded the conversation, so he listens to it later on. Drew phones Mac to tell him that he remembers who drugged him.

Lulu and Cody search for clues about Gio’s family (specifically, the woman who raised him). They find out from a good source that Camila was not pregnant when she was on tour in New Zealand (when Gio was born). Lulu knows that Lois and Brook Lynn have been keeping this a secret.

Nina and Carly get into a argument about Willow and Michael’s impending custody agreement, which turns into a knock-down, drag-out fight. Josslyn arrives to break them up, and Nina storms out. Nina wanted more time to get through to Willow about Drew, but Carly thinks she was just dragging her feet. Nina is afraid of losing Willow for good. Carly doesn’t admit to Nina that she’s afraid of losing Michael as well (if he loses his kids) but she does share that fear with Josslyn.

Dante and Sasha have a chat about Rocco and Danny while she’s in the kitchen, snacking. Dante thinks Jason should have a firmer hand with Danny and thinks Danny might be too much like Jason (does no one on this show remember that Jason was completely different before his head injury? How could he pass that on to his kids?) Jason arrives, and Dante leaves. Sasha is served with a summons from Ric to speak at Willow and Michael’s divorce, but she can’t figure out why she was called.

Sonny tries to talk Willow out of suing Michael for custody of the kids until he comes back. Even though Carly is the one who had Diane set the date, he wants Willow to postpone it. He insists that Michael would not be suing her for sole custody, even though she tells him that she flew to Germany to talk to him about it, but he refused to see her.

Nina arrives, so Willow wonders what happened to her face. Nina explains that she and Carly got into a fight because Michael is suing for full custody. Willow intends to fight back. Sonny tells Nina that she just messed things up – he had almost convinced her to call it off.

Dani and Pamela went to Joe’s casino to make some money for their business and to find talent. She started flirting with the dealer. Dani planned to have him naked in an international fashion magazine if he played his cards right. Ted went to see Leslie to invite her to an impromptu lunch for Eva. Leslie was still too upset with Eva to celebrate her birthday. Ted thought she was evil for not wanting to celebrate her daughter’s birthday. Leslie refused to let him say that she didn’t love her daughter. She said that Eva reminds her of the love she lost and the life would have had. Leslie wondered if she could still have that life. She placed her hand on his leg. Leslie hoped he would finally do right by her and Eva. Naomi and Jacob found out that June had pneumonia and needed bypass surgery. Dou’s hand was still hurt so another doctor had to help out. Kat arrived at the hospital to show Naomi and Jacob the footage of Leslie accusing Eva of running Laura off the road. Jacob thought her words were damaging, it would take more than that to close the case.He thanked her for what she got and agrees to pursue it. After Kat left, Naomi and Jacob found out that June’s surgery was successful. June was making jokes after the surgery.  Jacob went to Leslie’s place to let her know that she had to go to the station for questioning. 

Vanessa went to see Nicole. Nicole told her that she was thinking about selling her house. With Ted gone, she wanted something new. Vanessa didn’t want to put the house on the market yet. She wanted to give Nicole time to think about it first. Smitty was concerned about Martin so he started investigating him. He talked to Nicole about Martin first. She thought it was understandable that Martin would drop the presidential pursuit until he told her about his nightmares. She became worried about his nightmares. After his visit with Nicole, Smitty met with Bill at Orphey Gene. He wanted to know what Bill meant when he said they should stick together. Bill tried to get around it, but it didn’t work. Smitty wanted to know if there’s something Martin I’d keeping from him. Bill told him to ask Martin since the family was so honest. Doug to the casino and got approached by Joey. He warned Doug to pay back the money he owed him. Doug told him that his debt would be paid off when he could do surgeries again. Joey felt that would take too long. He wanted Doug ro call Vanessa, or he would do it. Dani spotted Joey and Doug talking and wondered what they were talking about.

Marlena had breakfast with Susan and EJ. While they were talking, Marlena said she didn’t like him being with Belle. She told them about Shane calling her. Marlena said she was relieved but scared at the same time. Susan and Marlena prayed that John would be safe. Before EJ left, he told Marlena that he prayed for John to be safe. Susan said she was going to postpone her trip because the person who shot EJ was still out there. Marlena suggested that she go on the trip. Susan said finding the shooter was going to be hard. She had a feeling that Marlena knew who it was. Xander told Sarah that something was up with Philip. Sarah told him to give Philip the benefit of the doubt. She said Philip might have been keeping speed since he’s co-CEO. Xander said he was tired and didn’t know how long he was going to put up with him. 

Kevin told Philip that he couldn’t get back to the lab to replace the batch because Dr. Russell came back early and noticed that the drug was gone. Philip thought it was bad but was thankful Dr. Russell didn’t want the police involved. He told him to wait around until he got the drug from him. Shawn, Steve, and Kayla tried to figure out who stole the sepsis drug. While Shawn was looking through the footage on the security camera, he didn’t find anything. Steve said the person who stole the drug had to be there when they were. Dr. Russell came in and said his lab was broken into and thought that Kayla already knew his lab was robbed. They acted like they didn’t know what he was talking about. Kayla said if she took the drug she would have given it to Bo. She told Shawn to go with the doctor to check out the lab. When Kayla said Shawn was with the police force, Dr. Russell didn’t want the police involved. Steve suggested he let them help. Dr. Russell gave them access to interview his staff. Steve and Shawn went to the lab. Dr. Russell thought EJ or Xander had something to do with it. Shawn and Steve thought EJ or Xander had something to do with the theft. They ran into Xander and Sarah. When they told Xander what happened, Xander was shocked that they thought he had something to do with it. When Steve and Shawn left, Sarah realized Xander wanted the hospital because of the drug. He said the hospital needed money and said he didn’t have anything to do with the theft. He left to see Philip and accused him of taking the drug. Philip said he took the drug for Bo. Xander said he was going to kill him. Steve and Shawn realized the break in an inside job. They saw Kevin’s name while they were investigating. Marlena got a call about John being found. Susan said it felt like someone walked over her grave.

Kat went to see Ted at his hotel. She wanted him to tell her about his affair. He told her about how funny Leslie used to be. It was something he missed with Nicole after she had the miscarriages. He called himself selfish for what he did. Ted missed the love he used to get from Nicole and confuses Leslie’s attention for love. Kat asked him if he would have left her mother if she didn’t get pregnant. Ted didn’t confirm or deny her question. Nicole’s pregnancy inspires emotions in him that led him back to her. Kat surprised him when she wondered why he didn’t strap up when he was with Leslie. Ted thought Leslie was on birth control pills. Kat informed him that their relationship wouldn’t be fixed with one conversation. She hugged him, and he was surprised by that. Leslie went to see Bill at his office. She wanted answers about the cease and desist order that he sent her saying that she waited over two decades to tell everyone about his threats. He promised that everyone would side with him over her after everything she’s done. Leslie didn’t seem worried. She wanted him to do his worst to her because she was going to do hers too. After Leslie left, Bill wanted Ted to come to his office. Ted arrived at Bill’s office. Bill warned him to get proactive with Leslie. He warned him that she is unhinged. Avoiding her wouldn’t be an option for long. 

Naomi went to see her father. She had a feeling what he was talking about when she saw Ted in his office. Naomi was cordial to Ted, but she didn’t believe that her father didn’t threaten Leslie. Eva talked to Andre about the progress she made with Martin and Ted. She promised that Nicole was safe from her.  Eva wanted to be part of Ted’s life. She wasn’t looking for trouble. Eva was happy to see a text from Leslie to meet her at Ophrey Gene. Later Eva met with Leslie. She wanted Eva to use her relationship with Ted to help her get in good with him. She didn’t hide her disappointment when she thought her mother wanted to spend time with her. Leslie forgot it was Eva’s birthday after everything that’s happened. Eva refused to help her. She told her mother that she shouldn’t worry about the cease and desist order because it could have been worse. Kat and Chelsea met up. She told Chelsea that Leslie used her father from the beginning. Kat thought she lied about birth control. She put it together that Leslie and Eva took advantage of Laura’s accident. Kat believed they had something to do with the accident. Chelsea didn’t think they would hire a hitman to take care of Laura. Kat thought Eva ran her off the road. Later Kat went back to see her father. She wanted to warn him about her theory about Leslie and Eva, but he wasn’t there. Leslie showed up and had a conversation with Kat. She didn’t feel guilty about what happened. Nicole was collateral damage in her mission to expose Ted. Kat accused her of running Laura off the road. Leslie agreed that what happened to Laura wasn’t a coincidence. She implied that Eva was the one who ran her off the road. Leslie didn’t think Kat could do anything without proof. Kat was recording their conversation.

While Tate was getting things ready for Sophia’s party, Marlena wanted to talk to him about Sophia’s feelings for him. Tate told her they were just friends. Marlena warned him that his gestures could be misleading. He talked to her about the failed adoption. She said she talked Johnny into being honest about his feelings. Tate said he understood why she gave him that advice. He said they were going to an adoption agency. When Sophia’s friends showed up, Markena left. Xander tried to get in touch with DiMera Pharmaceuticals but didn’t get an answer. Alex told him that he asked Stephanie to put in a good word for them with Kayla. He wondered if Philip should get another chance. An upset Xander was tired of people saying Victor would have wanted this. He said he couldn’t get past the betrayal. Xander said he couldn’t trust Philip or himself. Paulina showed up with cake. Xander thought she was bribing him so he wouldn’t sue. Paulina wanted to know what he wanted. Xander said Abe was on the board and he was going to need votes. Paulina said Abe might be loyal to EJ since they were family once. Things might be different if he gave Theo a job. They agreed to the terms. 

Kevin broke into Dr. Russell’s lab. Shawn and Steve hid behind a dumpster while they planned their mission. They cut the surveillance feed and looped in a fake one. When they went in the building, they ran to Kevin. Kevin told Philip that he had to split up the vials so no one would notice anything missing. While Kevin was filling the tubes, Shawn and Steve went in the lab. Steve went to investigate a noise and found an emergency exit. Shawn looked for the drug but it was gone. When Shawn started to panic, Steve told him they had to leave. Kevin tried to call Philip, but he didn’t answer. Philip told Xander that he missed working with him and wanted to fix their relationship. Xander said he couldn’t forgive or forget what he did. When Marlena got home, Shane called her with news about John. Shawn and Steve told Kayla that they didn’t get the drug.

Rocco apologizes to Gio because Dante is blaming him for his alcohol poisoning at the PCU beach party. Gio tells Rocco he can handle Dante being mad at him and makes Rocco promise not to drink until he is twenty-one. Gio also tells Rocco that he is lucky to have a great relationship with his father and he shouldn’t let what happened change that relationship.

Brook Lynn tells Gio that Dante is just upset now and he will apologize to him when he cools down. He will apologize to him for the awful things he said to him. Gio tells Brook Lynn he is tired of everyone telling him that about Dante because it isn’t true. Gio thinks Dante will always hate him for how he handled the situation with Rocco.

Lulu tells Cody that they need to find out where Gio’s mother was when Gio was born to help prove that Gio is Brook Lynn and Gio’s son.

Portia tells Ava that Drew’s blackmail is getting worse, so Ava advises Portia to tell Curtis the truth. Portia fears that if she tells Curtis the truth it will be the end of her marriage.

Sonny warns Carly that if she doesn’t get emergency custody of Wiley and Amelia in court, she will lose her relationship with Michael because he will be angry because she took Willow to court without telling him about it.

Curtis calls a meeting with Drew and asks him why he is blackmailing his wife. Isiah advises Willow to trust her heart it will tell her what is best for the kids.

Sonny later asks Willow if they can talk and try to reach a compromise instead of going to court for custody of the kids.

Nina goes to Carly’s house and tells her they have one last chance to keep their grand kids away from Drew.

Alexis goes to the storage facility where Ava hid Ric’s car and finds a note from Ava and Ric that says looking for something which lets her know that they moved the car. Lucky arrives at the storage facility because he found out where the car was moved to when he questioned the guy at the impound lot. Alexis tells Lucky that Ava and Ric are blackmailing her and if she doesn’t pay them money they will tell Molly that Kristina cut the brake lines on Ric’s car. Alexis always tells Lucky that they want to put Kristina in jail for attempted murder.

Elizabeth talks with Lucas and tells him she loves Lucky but he isn’t the type to settle down and, if she tells him how she feels, he would do his best to stay but he would eventually leave again.

Rocco once again tells Dante not to blame Danny or Gio because they didn’t force the drinks down his throat. Dante insists that Gio was the adult, and he should have called him and Lulu or an ambulance.

Gio tells Sonny that he feels like what happened to Rocco is his fault but Sonny doesn’t blame him. Sonny tells Gio that Dante is just angry that Rocco almost died and he wants to blame someone. Sonny tells Gio that if he ever gets in trouble he should call him.

Brook Lynn is thinking about her son because it is his birthday today. Brook Lynn tells Chase that she hopes that her son comes looking for her one day.

Lulu tells Cody she thinks that Gio is Dante’s son and Cody wants to help Lulu find proof so she can tell Dante the truth.

Nick tells Phyllis he will be there for her if she needs to cry or vent her emotions about the kidnapping, but Phyllis says she will never cry about what happened to her. Sharon interrupts Nick and Phyllis’s talk at the park and, when Nick goes back to work, Sharon tells Phyllis about her and Nick ‘s family vacation to London.

Sally once again tells Billy that he must let go of his fixation with Chancellor Industries or Abbott Communications will fail before it gets started. Nick interrupts Billy and Sally ‘s conversation at the park because he doesn’t think Billy should have fired Phyllis because she needs something positive to focus on after everything she has been through, but Billy thinks that Phyllis needs to deal with the trauma of her ordeal before she is ready to go to work. Phyllis walks by and sees Billy and Nick arguing about her.

Amanda meets with Devon, Lily, and Nate on behalf of Aristotle Dumas because she is his lawyer. Amanda assures Devon, Lily, and Nate that Aristotle Dumas respects them all and he isn’t coming after Winters Inc. Amanda tells them that Aristotle is going after Chancellor Industries because he thinks Billy and Lily were treated unfairly when Victor took over the company. Devon, Lily, and Nate talk at Nate’s place after their meeting. Devon, Lily, and Nate are even more worried about Aristotle Dumas because Amanda didn’t tell them his identity. Amanda reunites with her best friend Phyllis and asks her why she was trying to contact Aristotle Dumas.

Anita and Vernon talked about her reunion with The Articulettes. She had reservations about the reunion after the way she treated the other members. Vernon wanted her to do the reunion, but she didn’t want to. When Vernon showed Anita one of her albums, she said her voice was gone. He told her that he pushed for the reunion so she could let go of the guilt she felt about what happened. Anita said he was the man for her and could make her shine. They talked about how beautiful their lives were. She said she was scared when he brought up the reunion because it reminded her of the way she used to be. While they were talking, Anita agreed to do the reunion. When Anita was alone, she called one of the members of the group who ended up hanging up on her. Bill had a spasm and tried to hide it when Hayley came in his office. While he was answering phone calls, Hayley got on top of him and brought up their honeymoon. He said he would take her on the honeymoon, but he had to fill in for Mike. She said she knew he would say that, so she brought the honeymoon to him. They made out on the desk. After they made love, he had spasms in his hand but hid it.

Andre went to see Nicole to check on her. Nicole was upset with him. Dani showed up and defended Andre. She told Nicole that she should understand why Andre didn’t saying anything about Ted’s affair and wondered what she would tell a patient in her situation. Nicole realized Andre was in a bad position. Andre wanted to give them their space, but Nicole told him to stay. She let him know how much he means to her, but she didn’t know who to trust. Nicole said Ted put him in a bad position. She told Andre that he was family and that didn’t change. Andre told her she didn’t have to explain anything to him. While they were hugging, Dani mouthed for him to meet her later. When Andre left, Nicole asked Dani what was going on between her and Andre. Dani said nothing was going on. She said she wasn’t looking for a relationship. Dani said having Bill out of her life was a good thing and enjoyed being alone. Nicole said she looked forward to feeling that way, but she needed to be alone. Dani suggested they do something fun. Later on, Dani and Andre made love. When they finished making love, they talked about Nicole being on to them. Eva saw Kat and wanted to work things out. Kat wasn’t interested in working things out with her. Eva said she tried and reminded her that they would be half-sisters forever. Martin showed up and invited Kat over. Kat said she needed it after the drama with Eva and Leslie. He suggested that they invite Eva to which Kat wasn’t interested. Martin said the kids needed to get to know Eva. Kat didn’t care and walked away. Eva went to Martin and said she hoped she didn’t make things weird between him and Kat. Martin suggested they get to know each other and invited her over. When Martin brought Eva to the house, Samantha was upset that she was there. Eva offered to leave, but Martin wanted her to stay. He gathered everyone together and said Eva being in the family wasn’t smooth, but she’s family. While he was talking, he said he was going to run for president but wanted to focus on his family. Kat went to see Nicole and talked to her about Eva.

Rachel had an Alice in Wonderland birthday party at the DiMera mansion. Since she’s not too popular in school, her family were the only guests. Brady found out that EJ and Belle were dating. EJ and Belle talked about him trying to buy the hospital. Brady let him know that wasn’t happening. He said that Xander planned on putting in a bid for the hospital. Kristen wanted Brady to reconsider EJ’s offer. She thought that EJ would tell her where to find her mother if Brady backed his plan to buy the hospital. EJ didn’t want to risk going to jail by telling her anything. Belle didn’t want to hear too much of their conversation so she wanted to leave before she heard anything else sh. Kristen was willing to keep him out of jail, but Brady didn’t make the same promise. Kristen wanted EJ to vouch for her that she didn’t shoot him, but he couldn’t because he didn’t remember the night. She told him that Brady would vote for Xander to get the hospital. Brady gave Rachel her present from Tate. Rachel brought up Tate’s baby, and everyone became anxious. EJ told her what happened. Rachel assured him that he had family. She assured him that her mother didn’t shoot him. Rachel was worried when EJ said that his shooter was still out there. Kristen told her that they were safe. Xander went to see Kayla to talk about buying the hospital. Kayla wondered what he would get from the purchase. He wanted the drug and wanted to help Sarah and the hospital. Kayla planned to back him as long as he did good work with the drug. He also had to help people and not price gouge everything. He promised to do what she wanted. As he left, Belle showed up to pitch for EJ. She insisted that EJ wanted to help people. Belle tried to convince Kayla that EJ changed and wanted her to keep an open mind when it concerned him.

Kevin and Philip met at the Bistro. He told Philip about the struggle he’s having with the doctor he’s working with. Kevin hoped Philip would offer him a job at Titan. Philip thought it was possible if he helped him get the sepsis drug. He told Kevin that Bo was dying and needed the drug to save his life. Kevin told him that there wasn’t any way to get the formula or make the drug. Philip thought they could steal it. Kevin wasn’t on board with the plan until Philip made the offer enticing. He agreed to help Philip. Philip went to Titan because he thought Xander would be away with Sarah. Xander told him about her allergic reaction. He told Philip about his plans to buy the hospital. Philip didn’t know he wanted to buy the hospital. Xander hoped Philip didn’t do anything stupid while he was with Sarah. Philip looked at him uncomfortably. EJ made a snide remark to Kristen during the tea party, and she snapped at him. She hit the table and a metal bowl made a loud sound. EJ was shocked by her reaction. Rachel came downstairs and let everyone know that she had a nightmare about hearing a gunshot. Kristen promised her that she was the one who made the noise. EJ experienced a PTSD moment because he thought about being shot. Philip met with Kevin again to talk about the drug. Kevin told him that Dr. Russell was going away for the weekend and giving the staff time off. They had to go through with the plan now or never. Philip was ready to get started. Kayla called Steve and confirmed their plan to steal the drug from Dr. Russell.

Martin had the nightmare again. Someone in his dream asked to see the color of his money. He woke up before he could see who it was. Nicole talked to Dani about grieving her relationship. Dani told he’d that she and their mother probably sent Ted and Eva to the hospital with emotional wounds. Nicole didn’t need anyone defending her. Dani reminded her that the Dupree family doesn’t hide. They fake it until they make it. Dani wanted her to go out. Ted and Eva went out for breakfast. She thought they would be more welcomed at the hotel. He didn’t want to do that because they deserved to be there. Anastasia (a gossip in town) saw them together and gave them the evil eye. Eva felt uncomfortable with her watching them. Ted told her that people would have to get used to seeing them together. He planned to set Eva up as a hairstylist. Ted thought she might be able to get another personal assistant job. Dani brought Nicole to the club. She told her to hold her head high. They spotted Ted and Eva at the club. Ted was about to talk to Nicole, but Vanessa stopped him. She tried to take Nicole’s mind off of Ted by talking to her about Doug and his self-destructive behavior. Dani lectured Ted about his actions. He said he was taking her advice and stepping up for his daughter. Dani had a message for Eva. She let her know that she would never be a Dupree. Dani went to Nicole and Vanessa’s table. Anastasia arrived at the table. She thought betrayed women should unite. After Anastasia left, Nicole wanted to run off, but Dani and Vanessa convinced her to stay. 

Anastasia went to Ted and Eva’s table and made a snide comment to her. Eva wanted to leave so she left the table. Anastasia apologized to Ted for what she said to Eva. Nicole, Dani and Vanessa drank to Eva walking out of the club. Ted arrived at their table. He said there was no excuse for what he did to her. Ted planned to be the man who learned from his mistakes. He was determined to get Nicole back within a year. After he left, Nicole thanked Dani for talking her into going out. Leslie saw Jan at Orphey Gene. Jan wouldn’t let sit with her. She didn’t like the way she used her and Mona. Jan didn’t like how she manipulated her daughter. Leslie explained what happened with Ted and how he wanted her to get an abortion. Jan felt sorry for her at first. She wouldn’t have used her daughter the way Leslie did. Jan told her that she acted out of hate and couldn’t sit with her. After her conversation with Jan, Eva arrived at Leslie’s table. They went back and forth about Eva’s betrayal. She begged her to let her again. Leslie wouldn’t let her come home. She reminded Eva about what she did. Eva ran off. Jan couldn’t believe the way she treated Eva like that. Leslie yelled at Jan. She had more plans up her sleeve. Eva ran into Ted and told him what happened with her mother.

Roman talked to Kate about Johnny and his gun. He said he told Johnny about his gun on the night EJ got shot and it went missing. Roman said that when he went over to the mansion, he found his gun in a flowerpot outside. He said he didn’t tell Sami because she would have made the situation worse. Roman said he wasn’t going to talk to Johnny about it either since he already told about how he was conceived. He didn’t want Johnny’s life ruined since anyone could have tried to kill EJ. While they were talking, Kate told Roman about the letter Vivian forged and how Philip presented it as a real letter from Victor. They believed they were protecting people they loved and needed to be more trusting of each other. Paulina went to see Johnny at the Salem Inn. She said she liked him but warned him that it wouldn’t be good for him if he broke Chanel’s heart again. Johnny let her know that he was going to therapy and had a job. He flashed back to pulling a gun on EJ. He told Paulina that he didn’t want to be like EJ. While they were talking about what happened to EJ, Paulina asked if he told the truth about not shooting EJ. 

EJ went to Kayla’s office and told her that he went over her head and got a meeting with the board about his proposal to buy the hospital. He said he added a condition to his offer he hoped wouldn’t ruin things for anyone. Later on when he went back to the mansion, he found Belle there. He told her about his plan to buy the hospital. While he was talking, he told her about Xander’s interest in buying the hospital. EJ said he was going to need her help in convincing the board and Brady to sell the hospital to him. Philip talked to Kate about getting in good with Xander by helping him buy the hospital. He asked Kate to put in a good word for him with the board. Kate told him that EJ was rescinding the offer if they didn’t take it right away. Philip told her that everyone wanted the hospital because a doctor developed a curse for sepsis and if approved by the FDA, they could make a fortune. He said since Bo had sepsis, they might have been able to give him the drug right away. Philip thought he could get in good with Xander if he saved Bo. Kayla went to check on Sarah. She told Sarah that Xander was trying to buy the hospital along with EJ. Kayla said she would do whatever she could to help Xander get the hospital. Xander came in and said Sarah was the reason why he wanted the hospital. Sarah was concerned, but he said he would do it the right way. While they were talking, they decided to start working on a baby.

Alexis asks Spinelli to find where Ava hid Ric’s car after the accident, and it doesn’t take too long for Spinelli to find the storage facility where Ava hid Ric’s car.

Kai wants Stella to talk to his doctors and ask them to release him from the hospital early so he can watch Trina perform at the nurse’s ball. Stella talks to the doctors but they don’t think he is ready to be released yet.

Diane tells Carly that the judge has scheduled Michael’s divorce hearing for June 2, 2025. Carly decides to get an emergency order alleging that Drew is a danger to the kids and use the video of Drew doing body shots with a prostitute as proof. Diane warns the judge could to give the kids custody to Nina but Carly decides to take the risk to get the kids out of Drew’s house. Drew hires Ric to take over Willow’s custody case since Martin is out of town. Drew thinks Ric should tell the court Michael is an absentee father because he went to Germany to recover from his burns instead of staying closer to home.

Portia tells Trina that she asked Curtis to make peace with Drew. Trina doesn’t think Curtis will ever make peace with Drew, but she tells Portia that she can always have hope.

Curtis tells Jordan he thinks Portia is lying to him because Drew has leverage on her. Jordan encourages Curtis to hear Portia out because she might want to tell him the truth, but she may be afraid of how he will react to what she has to say to him.

Emma is very angry because Josslynn backstabbed her and stole her research assistant job.Josslynn promises Emma that if she finds out that Professor Dalton is doing illegal animal testing she will report it to the authorities. Emma tells Josslynn that she was right about her she is an entitled selfish backstabbing person.

Josslynn and Vaughn search professor Dalton ‘s office and find nothing so they assume everything they need is in his lab. Emma figures out that Josslynn corrupted her USB drive and stole her data model and that is how she got the job. Emma tells Anna what happened and how Josslynn stole her job. Anna tells Emma not to tell professor Dalton because it will make her look like she is upset that she didn’t get the job.

Lulu tells Carly that she thinks Gio is Brook Lynn and Dante’s son. Carly once again that she shouldn’t play God with other people ‘s lives. Carly tells Lulu that she had better have proof before she tells Dante that Gio is his son.

Tracy asks Jason to find Brook Lynn ‘s son but he refuses to do it since she is asking him to do it without Brook Lynn’s permission.

Sonny tells Laura that he is thinking about selling his piers to Sidwell and leaving the mob. Laura fears that Jens Sidwell will start a crime wave in Port Charles. Sonny tells Laura that he is confident that the PCPD and the WSB can take care of the crime in Port Charles.

Dani went to Ted’s to rip into him for what he did to Nicole. Ted let her know that he didn’t need her to remind him that he messed up. Dani yelled at him for keeping his affair a secret and for letting Leslie ruin Nicole’s life. Ted understood that it was personal for Dani since Bill cheated on her, but he wasn’t Bill. Dani didn’t care about that. She asked him how his kids were doing. He said Martin ripped into him. Ted said he didn’t know why he did what he did to Nicole. When he brought up Nicole’s fertility issues, Dani was appalled. He said his affair was a mistake, but he loved Nicole. When he threw Dani out, Anita was at the door. Anita said she had some things to say to him. Ted thought she wanted to talk about Nicole and the kids. He said he regret what he did and didn’t cheat since. While he was talking, he said he wouldn’t be her punching bag. Anita said he was a coward who wasn’t good enough to be with a Dupree woman. She said she was grateful that Martin was like his grandfather. Anita said Leslie was showing off the DNA test which was a surprise to Ted. Anita advised him to handle things before he tried to make things right with Nicole. Dani and Anita ended up leaving. Kat talked to Martin about Eva getting closer to Tomas. Martin said it was most likely innocent. Kat thought he might have been right. She said she had hate towards men now. Martin said he felt the same way after he talked to their father. They couldn’t believe their father got two women pregnant at once. Martin reminded Kat that Eva was their sister, so they had to deal with her. Kat said she wanted Eva ran out of town. Martin said Eva was manipulated and he felt sorry for her. He said he was going to see their mother. Kat followed him.

At the bar, Joey wanted Vanessa to open up to him. Vanessa talked to him about Nicole and Ted’s marriage. She said she felt like a hypocrite since she was cheating on Doug. Joey said she was mourning her past. He said he knew her better than Doug and was interested in her, so she didn’t need to impress him. When he invited her to come over, she turned him down. Leslie told Nicole that she didn’t mean to hurt her. Nicole didn’t believe her and reminded her of the way she came into her life. She asked Leslie why she didn’t say something sooner. Nicole wondered why she had to humiliate her. Leslie couldn’t explain her actions. Nicole ripped into Leslie for treating her child like garbage. Leslie stood by the way she treated Eva. She showed Nicole the DNA test so she could see that Eva was Ted’s. Nicole wanted Leslie to leave her and her family alone. Leslie said Nicole was a nice person and was sorry for what she did. Nicole didn’t believe her and threw her out. When Leslie broke down and cried, Nicole told her to keep her tears. Leslie said she wanted to get back at Ted. Mona saw Eva at the casino and ripped into her for what she did. Eva said she felt guilty about what happened. Mona said she put her job on the line by recommending her for Nicole’s assistant. Eva said Nicole wouldn’t use that against her. She gave Mona the key and told her that she felt like she was going to lose everything. Doug showed up at the casino. Randy told Doug that he shouldn’t be there. He suggested that Doug walk out of the casino. Doug lied and said he could walk away from gambling and left with Randy. Later on, Doug went back to the casino. Mona went to see Leslie and yelled at her for what she did. When Mona left, Ted showed up and warned Leslie to stay away from his family. He warned her that she would have to deal with him if she did anything to the Duprees. Leslie thought Nicole told him she was at the house. Ted said he was there because Anita and Dani came to see him and kicked him out of the family. He said she ruined his life. Leslie said she didn’t want to ruin his life because she was still in love with him. Ted said she didn’t know what love was. He said he was going to get his daughter an apartment, but he didn’t care about Leslie. Ted said she was a psycho and left. Martin and Kat went to see Nicole. When the subject of Eva came up, she told the kids that the results were real. Martin thought it was a lot to take having a sister. Anita and Dani saw Eva at the club. Dani went over to Eva and invited her to go to their table. They told Eva that she’s resourceful. Dani said she knew Ted was getting her an apartment. Anita said she was sorry that she didn’t getting parented the way she should have. She said she hoped Ted stood by her side. Eva said she was thankful for him. Anita said she hurt Nicole so she would never be a part of the Dupree family.

Chanel was willing to take Johnny back if he could answer her question. Did he shoot EJ? It was a fair question since he kept wanting EJ to die for what he did. Johnny felt there was a difference between wanting his father to die and making sure it happened. The world would be a better place if EJ were gone, but he didn’t shoot his father. She believed him. Chanel felt like he needed to deal with his anger. Paulina approached them, and they talked about what happened to Sarah. After Paulina left, Johnny apologized to Chanel again. He let her know that he started going to therapy and got a new job at Titan. Johnny told her that he was extending his stay at the Salem Inn, but she had a surprise for him. Chanel told him that he could come back home. Brady and Kristen got into an argument when she told him that the girls in Rachel’s class wouldn’t be attending her birthday party. He wasn’t surprised because of her fascination with snakes and lying. Brady felt like Kristen’s influence played a factor in Rachel’s behavior. Kristen reminded him that she had one true friend. Lani was the only friend she needed. Brady reminded her that she doesn’t live in Salem. She called him a dunk and apologized for the remark. They agreed that they wouldn’t be parents of the year, and they were both responsible for Rachel’s behavior. Kristen didn’t want her to grow up like her. She couldn’t believe she lost her father’s company to Xander and Philip. Philip texted Brady because he wanted him to attend a meeting. Kristen assured him that she was a survivor.

Kate was training Doug and wanted him to give money to any robbers. She noticed that the gun was missing. Kate asked Roman about the gun. She questioned Roman and called him out for lying to her. They decided to argue about it upstairs. Holly showed up at the pub and talked to Doug about not going to the prom. Kate and Roman continued their conversation about the gun upstairs. She realized they had things in common. They had guns and went out the night of EJ’s shooting. She let him know that she didn’t shoot EJ. Kate asked Roman if he did it. Roman said he didn’t shoot EJ. She wondered what happened to the gun that was in the lock box. Roman felt like the person who stole the gun was probably the one who shot EJ. Kristen went to DiMera Enterprises and asked Alex for a job. She wondered if he would put in a good word for her with Xander and Philip. Alex made a comment about what she’s like in bed. He didn’t think they would be interested. Alex wasn’t interested in getting her into bed anymore either. She let his comment slide and built up her skills as a business woman. Alex turned her down.

Dani demanded answers from Bill about what he did for Ted. She told him that it was her family. Bill thought he was doing the right thing. Dani told Bill about everything Ted did to Nicole and couldn’t believe his role in the plan. Bill didn’t feel he did anything wrong. Dani wanted to know what else he did to help her family. She and Bill continued to argue about what he did for her family. Bill told her to take it up with her parents if she wanted answers about what he did for the family. Vernon tried to make Nicole feel better. She said she felt numb from everything that happened. He thought it was good that she was feeling numb right now. Vernon assured her that her family had her back. Andre went to see Ted. Ted felt like he was the only person who would want to see him. Andre asked him how things were going at the hospital. He told him that was the only thing he didn’t mess up. Andre wondered if there was anything he could do for him. Ted wanted him to put a good word in for him with Nicole. Nicole thought Ted was the closest person she would find like her father. She couldn’t believe she was so blind when it concerned Ted. Anita didn’t want her to put herself down for Ted. The only thing she did was love her husband. Nicole felt like being with her parents made her feel secure and loved. Bill told Dani that everything that happened has already been done. She warned him to stay out of her family’s business. He didn’t have a problem with that and that’s why he left her. Dani couldn’t believe that she ever loved someone like him. She stormed out of his place. Hayley wanted to know if Bill really meant it when he said he was finished with the Duprees.

Andre told Ted that he believed that he and Nicole would get back together. Ted wasn’t sure about that. Andre left and there was a knock at the door. Martin was the one at the door. Tomas and Eva showed up at the bar. He wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t think she would be good company. Tomas didn’t think she was capable of what she did. Eva felt like his comments hurt more than anyone else’s. Andre went to see Nicole. He hated what she was going through. He let it slip that he knew about Ted’s affair. Andre admitted that Ted talked to him about the affair. Nicole couldn’t believe that he knew and didn’t say anything. Martin confronted Ted about what he did to his mother. He said that his lies destroyed his mother. Martin didn’t know who he could forgive when he didn’t know who he was. He thought Ted was the best. Andre told Nicole that he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He begged her to forgive him. Nicole didn’t blame him for what happened. He said that Ted regretted what he did and never wanted to hurt her. Nicole didn’t know what to do with that information. Tomas thought he knew Eva, but he was wrong. Eva didn’t want to stay with him. She wanted to leave, but he wanted her to stay. Bill met with Smitty because he knew he wanted to congratulate him for pursuing his career. He realized that Smitty could use a friend. Bill wanted Smitty to remind Martin that they were on the same team. Martin wanted answers from Ted. Ted assured Martin that he loved Nicole. He apologized to him. Ted was determined to get his family back. Eva knew she was wrong to do what she did. Tomas grabbed Eva’s hand when she started crying. Kat walked back into the bar and saw him holding Eva’s hand. Dani went to see Ted. She planned to read him the riot act for what he did to her sister. Leslie went to Nicole’s house to talk to her.

EJ tried talking to Johnny, but Johnny wasn’t interested. When Johnny wanted to walk away from him, EJ said he forgave him and said he would protect him. He said he remembered when he was shot. Johnny said he could explain, but EJ said he understood and thought that was why he didn’t want to go through with the adoption. He apologized to Johnny and said he was a wonderful person who deserved happiness and a family. Johnny said he wasn’t sorry about what he did. He told EJ he hated him and always would. A shocked EJ warned Johnny to be careful what he said because he wasn’t a doormat. Johnny said EJ’s change wouldn’t last long because the real EJ took over. He told EJ that he wanted him out of his life. Before he left, Johnny let EJ know that Xander offered him a job at Titan to get back at him. Johnny said he was taking the job. Later on, EJ and Chad ran into each other. EJ told Chad that he was making a bid on the hospital, but Kayla was keeping him from it. He asked Chad to work his magic with the board and get them to overrule Kayla. Chad agreed to help EJ, but they had to do it right away. He told EJ that Xander was interested too. Johnny met with Chanel. While they were talking, Chanel said she missed him. She said even though he hurt her, she understood why he did what he did. Chanel said she was ready to take him back, but he had to answer a question. She wanted to know if he shot EJ.

Leslie dreamed about Ted coming to her place and thanking her for telling Nicole the truth about their relationship. Hayley and Bill talked about his role in saving Ted’s marriage. Ted went to Bill’s place to confront him. Anita and Vernon discussed the way Bill and Ted treated their daughters. They were talking about what Bill did for the family, but Chelsea interrupted them before they talked about what he did for them. Ted wanted to know why Bill didn’t tell him that he had a child. Eva was in Nicole’s office and wanted to talk to her. Nicole didn’t blame her for Ted’s affair. Eva reminded her that she’s the product of the affair. She tried to apologize, but Dani showed up. Dani demanded that Eva get out. Eva left the house. Nicole let Dani know that she had it under control. Dani didn’t agree with her since she allowed Eva in her house. Kat talked to Tomas about Eva and Leslie. She had no intention of getting to know Eva. Chelsea couldn’t believe her father was involved in Ted’s situation. She told Anita and Vernon that she wanted to know what else he did. Hayley tried to defend Bill to Ted. Ted wanted answers for why he didn’t tell him that he had a baby. Bill wondered why Ted didn’t tell him that Leslie was in town. Ted just wanted his wife back. Dani gave Nicole things to help her feel better. Nicole hoped that everything was a mistake and that it wasn’t true. Dani let her know that Eva had a birth certificate. Eva showed up at Leslie’s place. Tomas told Kat that it wasn’t Eva’s fault that her father cheated. He felt like Kat was mad at the wrong person. Kat wondered who she should be mad at, and he told her that she should be mad at her father. Bill wanted to take Ted down a peg at one point. He said he didn’t have to help him years ago, but he did. Ted thought things would have been different if he told her the truth years ago. Bill wasn’t sure that was true. He informed Ted that he earned some time in the dog house. Bill thought he might have a chance to get back in Nicole’s good graces.

Dani wanted to go after everyone involved with hurting Nicole. She reminded Nicole that Ted loved her. Dani told her about the things he did to show that he loved her. Nicole didn’t want to hear her defend Ted. Dani knew she was right. Leslie wanted to know what was in Eva’s box. She thought that Nicole fired her. Leslie demanded to know why Eva turned on her. She couldn’t believe that Eva put Ted above her. Leslie said that Ted didn’t care about her. Eva told her that he didn’t care because he didn’t know she existed. She yelled that it was Leslie’s fault. Leslie was trying to protect her because she didn’t want to tell her that he wanted her to have an abortion. Eva demanded to know why she didn’t tell her the truth. She noticed the boxes on the floor. Leslie told her that she was kicking her out because she refused to stay with someone she didn’t trust. Eva let her know that she slept in her car. Leslie told her to stay with her father since he needs family. Eva took one last look at her mother and walked out the door. She cried while she walked away. Ted told Bill and Hayley he would do anything to make his marriage work. He walked out of their house. Hayley realized that Bill missed the Duprees paying him to take care of their problems. He didn’t deny missing it. Dani wondered if there would ever be a time where she would forgive Ted and get back together. Nicole didn’t think she would ever feel that way. She was too upset to do anything. Dani thought she should wait until she was ready to move on. Eva went to see Ted because she didn’t have anywhere else to go. He wanted to know why she didn’t stay with her mother. She told her that she kicked her out for defending him and Nicole. He felt like it was too little too late. Ted wanted to know what she wanted from him. She was hoping that he would want her in his life. Kat told Tomas that she couldn’t forgive her father for what he did to her mother. She refused to forgive Eva for her role in destroying her parents’ marriage. Kat wanted him to end his friendship with Eva. Dani showed up at Bill’s place to confront him for what he did for Ted. Eva continued to tell Ted what she thought she knew about him. He knew why she wanted to get revenge on him but why did she do that to Nicole. If he were a better man, he would still have Nicole. Eva reminded him that she wouldn’t be born. Ted planned to give her a room and then he would get an apartment for her.

Johnny went to Xander’s office. Xander asked him if he considered working for the company. He told Johnny that they wanted a DiMera working there who didn’t have any issues with the Kiriakises. Johnny wanted to know if he was offered the job just to get back at his father. If that was the reason, Johnny was interested. Xander said he wouldn’t tell him what the job would be, but Johnny said he would think it over. Abe talked to Chanel about him and Lexie raising Zack for two years before they had to give him back to Bo and Hope. He said it hurt, but they went on to have their own son. Chanel said she didn’t think she and Johnny would ever have a miracle baby or heal their hearts. She said Johnny hurt her and didn’t think she could get past it. Chanel noticed Johnny’s behavior changing around the time EJ was shot. Abe asked if she thought Johnny shot EJ. Chanel didn’t know what to do about it. Abe suggested that she talk to Johnny. Chanel thanked him and left.

When Kayla went in her office, she found EJ sitting at her desk. EJ said they had unfinished business to take care of and wanted to give her time to think about his offer. Kayla said she wasn’t going to let a DiMera take control over the Horton legacy. EJ said he was going to own the hospital one way or the other. He walked away from her. When EJ left, Sarah showed up and asked Kayla to look out for her patients while she was gone. She told Kayla that she was surprised that Dr. Russell was taking her place at the conference. While they were talking, Kayla told Sarah about EJ’s offer. She told Sarah that she refused the offer. Sarah was surprised she turned down the offer. She thought it was a good offer despite EJ being involved, but said it was Kayla’s call. EJ ran into Marlena at the nurse’s station. He said it was hard doing good when people were still skeptical of him. Marlena reminded him that he hurt people, so it was understandable that people were skeptical of him. She suggested that he give people a chance. Marlena said Belle thought he could change so she was willing to do it too. Despite being willing to think he could change, Marlena said she wasn’t happy about them being together. She reminded him of what he did to Sami and said she only talked to Johnny on his behalf for Johnny’s sake. EJ thought about Johnny pointing a gun at him. He walked away from Marlena. When EJ went home, he found Dr. Russell there. He told Dr. Russell that Kayla wasn’t changing her mind about the offer. EJ said they may not win the battle, but they would win the war. Before Dr. Russell left, Xander called him and said he had an offer for him. When Xander got off the phone, Sarah met with him. She told him about their vacation being set and that EJ was trying to buy the hospital. When Sarah left to take care of things, Xander called Alex and told him to make the move with the hospital.

Lulu makes Rocco and Danny clean her entire house as a punishment for sneaking into a college party and getting drunk. Danny apologizes to Lulu and Dante for taking Danny to the beach party. Rocco tells Dante to stop blaming Danny and Gio for him getting drunk because he was the one who drank too much. Danny and Gio didn’t pour the drinks down his throat.

Dante apologizes to Lois for what he said to her and she apologizes for her part of the argument. Dante tells Jason that he needs to be Danny’s father not his friend. Jason later talks to Lois and tells her that Dante was right about what he said about him but in order for him to be a better father to Danny he needs to make some changes in his life.

Chase and Brook Lynn meet with Alexis to discuss their adoption options and Alexis assures Brook Lynn that the fact that she gave a child up for adoption won’t affect her ability to adopt a baby now.

Lulu finds out from Ned that Brook Lynn missed six months of her senior year of high school because Lois took her on the Miguel Muraz tour with her.

Sasha tells Jason that Willow went to Germany to see Michael, but Michael refused to see her.

Jordan and Jens want Sonny to sell him the piers to take him out of the equation when Port Charles votes on measure C. Jordan thinks that if Sonny sells the piers to Jens it will help Laura’s re-election campaign.

Sonny later tells Jason that he is thinking of selling the piers to Jens Siddwell.
