Bill let Hayley know that her behavior towards his daughters wasn’t acceptable. Hayley said she was being disrespected in their house. Dani was ready to defend her daughters, but they wanted her to calm down so she wouldn’t get their father upset or trigger more symptoms. Dani went to Bill’s house. She ripped into Bill letting him know that their daughters came first. Before she left, Dani told him that dying wasn’t an option. Hayley met Randy at Uptown. Randy gave her more of the serum. They talked about the plan of getting rid of Bill sooner rather than later. Hayley said she wanted to make the plan happen when she and Bill went to the Caribbean since there wouldn’t be as many medical tests there. Naomi, Chelsea, and Kat talked about Randy and how he was connected to Hayley. They thought it was possible that Hayley was cheating with Randy. Kat said they should do some digging with Hayley and Randy. When Kat left, Bill showed up. Bill wanted Naomi and Chelsea to call before stopping by the house so everyone’s boundaries were respected. Naomi and Chelsea were upset when Bill said it was Hayley’s idea, but they agreed to it. Joey couldn’t stop thinking about Heather and what she wanted. Vanessa tried to take his mind off of it by kissing him. Deanna walked in on them making out. She acted as if she didn’t see them. Joey talked about the casino making money. Deanna said he was cold hearted for not caring that people were losing everything. Vanessa wanted her to apologize. Deanna apologized and said the casino was a trigger for her. She left and went to Orphey Gene’s where she met up with Randy. He thought about Joey wanting him to get close to her.

Dani went to Nicole’s house to talk to her, but she walked in on Nicole and Kial in bed together. When Kial went in the shower, Nicole told Dani she was having fun with Kial. Dani didn’t believe it since he was putting down roots. She told Nicole that she should move on since Ted was moving on. After Kial left, Dani wanted to talk to Nicole about her reaction to Naomi getting a double mastectomy. Nicole advised her to take a deep breath before talking to Naomi. She told Dani not to say anything to Naomi if she thought she was going to hurt her feelings. Bill told Hayley that he wanted to call Madison about his hand shaking, but Hayley told him it would be a waste of time. Hayley said his test results showed nothing and he had a big case load. When Bill was about to agree with Hayley, Naomi and Chelsea showed up. They told Bill to make an appointment with Madison. Bill and Hayley told them why he couldn’t make the appointment. The conversation led to an argument between Hayley and the girls. Bill took Hayley’s side and told them to leave.

Hayley checked Bill’s fitness ring and said he was fine until his daughters showed up. She said he was stressed out and didn’t need to go to the hospital. Hayley suggested they go away so he could relax. Bill agreed with her, but he wanted to talk about the way she treated his daughters. Kat met up with Naomi and Chelsea to talk about Hayley. They talked about Hayley’s actions towards Bill. Kat said it was like one of the podcasts where the housewives killed their husbands. She wondered if Hayley was a black widow. Chelsea said Hayley was annoying but she wasn’t a killer. Naomi said Hayley was a liar and brought up how she faked the ultrasound. Kat took out her notes for when they had to present their case. They thought Hayley didn’t get the fairytale life she wanted with Bill and was insecure about Dani. While they were talking, they thought Hayley could be having an affair with “Sammy.” Dani showed up and said his name was Randy. When Naomi and Chelsea let Dani know Bill threw them out, Dani was furious.

Leslie went to Ted’s office while Eva interviewed Noah. She told Eva that she had a say in who got hired since she owned the clinic. When Leslie found out that Noah was Kial’s son, she laughed. Noah said music was his first love, but he would give the job his all. Eva was reluctant to hire him, but Leslie overruled her. Dani met Nicole at the club. Nicole told Dani that she picked Kial, but felt bad about leading Carlton on. Dani told her she didn’t need to feel guilty. She told Nicole that she was dealing with two grown men who could opt out if they didn’t like the arrangement. Leslie showed up to let them know that she hired Kial’s son. When Leslie tried to start an argument with Nicole, Dani picked up a knife and threatened her. Nicole let Leslie know that Ted was in love with Shanice.

Chelsea talked to Naomi about Kat while Kat talked to Deanna about Chelsea. When Kat was finished, Deanna told her she gave her the perfect way to handle Joey. She told Kat she had another voice in her head too. Naomi sent Kat a text to meet her at Uptown. When Kat showed up, she realized it was a set up. Kat talked about the interview Chelsea had with Eva. Chelsea said it wasn’t her fault that Kat had organ remorse. Naomi turned herself into the enemy which made Chelsea and Kat make up. They decided to put their differences aside

Leslie was upset to hear about Ted and Shanice being in love. She barged into Ted’s office and told him to stop being foolish. Ted was tired of her antics and advised her to move on with her life. He sat her down and told her that they were never in love. Ted felt like she was a convenience for him. Leslie needed to find someone who could love her the way she deserved to be loved. She didn’t hear what he was saying. Leslie thought his relationship with Shanice was temporary. She warned him not to come running to her when it fell apart because she wouldn’t be there. After her conversation with Ted, Leslie went to the club for a drink. While she was there, she ran into Vanessa. Vanessa tried to advise Leslie to move on with her life, but Leslie didn’t want to listen to her. Leslie felt like her relationship with Ted was beyond love. Vanessa told her that she and Ted wouldn’t have lasted long even if they got married. Leslie didn’t want to hear her advice and called her out for ditching her husband and children to be with Joey. She thought Joey wouldn’t remember Vanessa’s name a year from now. Everyone else in town gathered for Anita’s party. She wanted to celebrate her successful radiation treatment.

Dani noticed that Andre was obsessed with the champagne bottle. Pamela interrupted their conversation by calling to let Dani know about an offer. Dani was drinking so she wanted Andre to take her to Uptown. Pamela informed Dani that an entertainment reporter wanted to do a story on Dani and her loved ones. Andre wasn’t happy about the news. While they were celebrating, someone was watching them from outside. Heather purposely let Vanessa think that she had a relationship with Joey by saying they shared a bed together. Vanessa thought she was Joey’s ex but realized that Heather was Joey’s sister. They checked each other out and exchanged comments towards each other. Joey arrived and tried to be the peacemaker. Heather told Joey that she was happy for him. She said that she was on her way back to London. Joey said that Heather couldn’t be trusted. He wanted Vanessa to inform him if Heather comes back to town.

Anastasia approached Martin and Smitty at the club and offered her congratulations. She also talked about Ted saving her face during the tornado. The conversation made Martin think about what he did to Kenneth when he beat him months ago. Anastasia made her rounds and talked to Kial. She made comments about the men in Nicole’s life. Kial called her out for the men that are in her life. Anastasia approached Joey and Vanessa and threatened to turn them into board for violating the code of conduct. Vanessa talked about her relations with the gigolo Diego, and Joey said that the board courted him about being a member.

Smitty and Jacob talked about the lies between Hayley and Lynette. While they were talking, they talked about the Impaler. Heather went to see Joey. She said she was there to tie up a loose end. The loose end was Smitty. Since Smitty’s stories were getting attention, she had to eliminate the threat. Joey told her to leave Smitty alone because he was married to a congressman he needed re-elected. Heather wanted to know what the problem was since America loved sob stories. She said Martin losing his husband would guarantee a win. Joey was able to convince Heather not to do anything to Smitty if he was able to convince Smitty not to write the story on the Impaler.

Chelsea met with Eva to do a live stream about organ donation. Eva admitted that she didn’t want to be an organ donor because she thought of it as people using black people as spare parts. Chelsea said she never thought about it that way. Eva said Chelsea would be saved since she was a Dupree. Chelsea ended up agreeing to do the live stream. Kat watched them and thought Eva was being fake. Samantha said she thought Eva was being genuine. Andre was suspicious of the champagne that Dani got. He left to go to the club. Vanessa showed up to talk to Dani. She told Dani to forget about what she did in the elevator and focus on Andre. While Dani and Vanessa watched Chelsea’s live stream, Vanessa noticed Andre in the background. Dani was spiraling. Vanessa couldn’t keep her from losing control. Andre looked at pictures of himself drinking the champagne that Dani was sent. Hayley gave Bill new workout clothes. She said they were going to get him healthy. After they worked out, Bill was winded. Hayley wanted to give him something to drink. Bill’s hand started to tremble.

Dani and Bill vowed to be there for Naomi because of her diagnosis. When they were finished, Dani went to see Anita. Vernon wanted to talk to Bill. He told Bill that his hospitalization was something that shouldn’t be ignored. Vernon said he would be there for Bill despite their past if he needed to talk. When Vernon left, Jacob showed up. Bill almost collapsed. Naomi and Andre talked at Orphey Gene’s. He was trying to fix things between her and Dani. Dani told Anita that she wasn’t happy that she encouraged Naomi to get the surgery if she wanted to. While they were talking, they managed to work things out. Later on, Dani went home and found a belated wedding gift. The gift didn’t have a name on it. She wanted to open the champagne bottle, but Andre was suspicious about the bottle since it came from a place he spent time in the past.

Hayley met with Randy to talk about Dani. She was upset that Bill was taking too long to die. After Hayley left, Mona showed up. She asked Randy if Joey made him do something that didn’t sit well with his soul. Randy warned her not to waste her time with him because he wasn’t worth saving. Mona said everyone deserved a chance at salvation. When Mona left, Hayley came back and wondered why he was wasting his time on her. Randy refused to let her say bad things about Mona. Hayley told him that he needed to stay away from Mona before it ended badly. Jacob wanted to make sure Bill was okay. Bill told him to focus on his wife. Dani was excited about the champagne, but Andre didn’t want to drink it. When Dani left to take a call from Vanessa, Andre called someone. The number he called was disconnected. He picked up the card to see if he could find out who sent the gift.

Anita refused to help Dani talk Naomi out of getting a double mastectomy. Dani was upset so Anita reminded her that they didn’t have a say in what Naomi does with her body. She wanted to listen to Naomi but didn’t think they should be fighting about it. Naomi talked to Bill about having the BRCA gene. He was surprisingly calm about it. Naomi asked him about his health, and he told her that Haley came up with a new diet and exercise plan for him. Anita wanted Naomi to come to the house. Naomi informed her that she did her research about getting a mastectomy. She admitted that she didn’t have it in her to go through what Anita went through. Anita would support her any way she could. Naomi didn’t think she and her mother would see eye to eye on the subject, but Anita thought they would come together. Hayley met with Randy at Uptown. She told him that she convinced Smitty to look in Leah’s direction when it concerned Lynette’s disappearance. Their conversation shifted to Bill. Hayley planned to make him exercise so much that the drug would work faster. She hoped he would end up in the mortuary instead of the hospital. Randy warned her not to overdo it when it concerned the drug so it wouldn’t get detected.

Hayley went to see Bill after talking to Randy. She brought him a smoothie and told him that he would be getting on a treadmill. Deanna went to Orphey Gene’s and saw a musician trying to pay his bill. Unfortunately his card declined. Deanna offered to pay his bill. She realized he was from LA when he tried to pay her back. While they were talking, it turned out that his father used to work at Garland Memorial and his mother passed away. He noticed her grief about her father. Deanna talked to June about vibing with the musician. Dani found Hayley with a glass of champagne at Uptown. She confronted Hayley about drinking while Bill was dealing with health issues. Hayley lied to Dani and told her that she was celebrating Bill not having symptoms since he left the hospital. Bill drank more of the smoothie Haley brought him. He became wobbly and collapsed on the floor. He struggled to get up and wondered what was happening to him.

Dani told Anita and Vernon that Naomi had the BRCA gene. Anita blamed herself for what happened. Dani said Naomi didn’t want them to be sad or guilty about it. She said they needed to be there for Naomi. Anita agreed to be there for Naomi. She ended up crying. After Vernon left, Dani asked Anita to talk Naomi out of the double mastectomy. Elon invited Izaiah to Orphey Gene’s to mend fences. Izaiah was only there because he thought someone was hurt. Elon told him he wanted to extend an olive branch. They talked about the past. Elon told him he was happy that he found something he was good at. He said it was all he ever wanted for Izaiah. Vanessa told Nicole that she was happy that Deanna was warming up to Joey. Nicole warned her not to expect too much. They talked about Nicole’s love life. Nicole said that Kial fulfilled her emotional and physical needs, but she didn’t want to stop having fun with Kial and Carlton.

Marcel told Jacob that he wanted to give him another undercover assignment. He told Jacob that he wanted him to go undercover to get information on a prisoner’s crew. Jacob didn’t want to do it. Marcel said he couldn’t rely on one bust. He said this was a chance for Jacob to prove himself as more than the chief’s son. Jacob didn’t want to do the case because he needed to be close to home right now. Eva went to the hospital to find out how Kat’s PT was going. Kial told her Kat wasn’t doing PT anymore and that she was doing well. He told her she shouldn’t go back to work. Shanice showed up and talked to Kial about her relationship with Ted. Nicole showed up. She flirted with Kial. They went to her office. After they made out, Kial told Nicole that Ted and Shanice were in the love stage of their relationship. Nicole said she felt strange about it. Kial understood her feelings but wondered if she was holding out hope that she and Ted would get back together.

Bill felt like he knew Dani’s desires better than anyone including Andre. He suggested they hook up without anyone knowing. Dani insisted they would never be together again. He felt like there was a chance for them to get together. Dani told him that Hayley would always be a sidepiece regardless of the ring on her finger. She refused to be a sidepiece. Their conversation was interrupted when Nicole arrived. Bill walked away from Dani. Nicole said the secret was out. She was talking about Naomi’s condition. Dani was shocked to find out that Naomi was considering getting a double mastectomy. She was determined to talk Naomi out of making that decision. Nicole suggested that she take a step back and not steamroll Naomi. Kat met with Tomas at Uptown. He informed her that he was cutting his trip to Puerto Rico short. She told him that things were going on that Bill didn’t know about. Bill arrived and wanted to know what she meant by that. Kat covered by telling him good things about Tomas and reminding him that he rushed to marry someone he didn’t respect. After Bill left, Tomas asked him to watch out for Naomi while he’s gone. He believed that Naomi was after his job. Kat agreed to watch out for Naomi, but she reminded him that she was her family.

Ted told Shanice that he was falling in love with her more every day. She was shocked and wanted to know what changed. Ted couldn’t tell her the exact moment. He was okay with it that she didn’t feel the same way yet. Shanice needed to think for a minute. She went to the hospital to talk to Ashley. Shanice admitted that she didn’t have faith in love. They had a conversation about the highs and lows of love and that it’s worth the risk. Shanice went back to Ted and told him that she was in love with him too. Ted promised her that their relationship was was going to be good.

Ted spent time with Eva. Leslie showed up. Before Ted left, he warned Leslie not to call him her Teddy Bear. When Leslie tried to convince him to stay, he let her know that he wasn’t there to play games with her. Ted ended up leaving. Eva was upset with Leslie’s actions and told her to leave. Leslie was shocked that Eva wanted her to leave. Eva told her that she wasn’t going to let her actions ruin her relationship with her father. Leslie ended up leaving. Later on, Kat showed up. Kat wanted to thank her. Eva wanted to know why she wanted to thank her. Kat said she saved her relationship with Tomas. Eva wished her luck with Tomas. Chelsea was upset to find out that Dani knew about Naomi having the BRCA gene. Dani said she didn’t want to live her life in fear of what may or may not happen. Hayley went to Bill’s office and told him that his daughters were upset with her for not being there for him. Bill said he would tell them that he sent her away. Hayley wanted him to have brunch with her, but he told her to go by herself. She ran into Dani and the two got into an argument. Dani let Hayley know that Bill was still into her. Hayley let her know that Bill’s health issues were because of their sex life.

Kat went to Bill’s office to see Tomas. Bill ended up telling her about giving Hayley a hard time. He said Tomas and Hayley were the same. Kat told him that she sins Hayley committed couldn’t be forgiven. Hayley called Bill to tell him about the confrontation she had with Dani. Bill went to see Dani. He warned her to stop telling Hayley about the connection they shared if she didn’t want the truth to come out. Bill wanted to know what was going on. Dani said nothing was going on, but Bill wasn’t convinced. Hayley ran into Leslie. She told Hayley they should team up. Hayley wanted to know how they would do that. Leslie said they should have each other’s backs. Hayley said she didn’t want anything to do with Leslie. Leslie warned her that they would have to be enemies if they weren’t going to be friends. Hayley warned her about who she was threatening. She warned Leslie that she gave as good as she got.

Bill asked Tomas if he had a problem taking orders from Naomi. Tomas said he didn’t have a problem working with Naomi. His problem was working for Naomi because he wouldn’t be able to compete with nepotism. Bill said his job was safe and that he should go to Puerto Rico. Tomas told Bill that Kat rejected his proposal, but they were moving in together. Deanna, Vanessa, and Joey had dinner at Uptown. While they were at Uptown, Deanna had her phone open to her father’s picture. When they were finished, Deanna excused herself. A suspicious Joey watched her leave. Vanessa told Joey that she was happy with how the dinner went. Outside, Deanna told her father that she did what she had to do.

Dani told Pamela about her affair with Bill. Pamela told her it was instinct and not love. Dani said she went to a man who was incapable of change. She said he was a liar and a cheater and would always be one. Dani wanted to know what that said about her. Pamela said it was going to happen sooner or later. She told Dani that she wouldn’t let her think that her affair with Bill caused Naomi to have the BRCA gene. Pamela told Dani that she survived Bill and had to close the book. Naomi was with Chelsea, Martin, and Kat at the club. She told them that she was a carrier for the BRCA gene. They were worried about Naomi. Chelsea couldn’t believe that Naomi didn’t tell Jacob. Naomi told them that she was getting a double mastectomy. Chelsea was upset until she decided she was going to be there for Naomi. Martin met up with Andre to ask if he could be his official campaign photographer. Andre wanted to check his busy schedule, They talked about relationships.

Joey saw Vanessa opening a box of Doug’s belongings in the garage. He convinced her to go inside to get something to eat. While he was alone, he looked through the box and found a letter from Doug. The letter was about what happened if something happened to him. Joey didn’t tell Vanessa about the letter. Later Vanessa had lunch with Deanna. Deanna suggested that Vanessa and Joey go out with her and Donnell for dinner. She called Donnell, and he told her that he couldn’t make it. Doug told Deanna that she was doing the right thing. Joey read Doug’s letter, and it stated that he was responsible for his death. Kenny (the racist who had the run in with Martin and Vernon) was responsible for Doug’s death too. Joey called Randy and ordered him to find out if Doug had safe deposit boxes where he might have kept incriminating information. Vanessa arrived and told him about going out to dinner with her kids. Joey didn’t think it was a good idea. After Vanessa left the room, Joey read Doug’s letter again. He flashed back to Doug threatening to go Jacob with the information he knew. Joey burned the letter in the fireplace. Bill decided to check himself out of the hospital despite Madison’s objections. Chelsea decided to call Hayley about it. Hayley was at Uptown and was celebrating Bill’s impending death with Randy. Randy thought Madison might figure out what happened to Bill. Hayley wanted him to find a way to deal with the problems in the hospital lab. Randy said he had other things to deal with. He let her know that he had to befriend Deanna. After she finished talking to Randy, Hayley went to the hospital to confront Bill about leaving the hospital too early.

Sharon and Tracey showed up to visit Anita. They wanted her to go tour with them now that she’s better. Anita wasn’t ready to go on tour, but she was willing to record with them again. Jacob went with Naomi to her appointment with Monica. They talked about the different options. Naomi felt like the double mastectomy was the best option. Monica informed her that the BRCA gene could lead to other cancers too. She told Naomi that she should consider getting her ovaries, Fallopian tubes, and uterus removed as well. Monica told her to think about it before she made a decision.

Dani texted Naomi to check on Bill. Naomi ignored the text. Madison showed up to run more tests on Bill. He was okay with the tests until he found out he had to stay in the hospital. Hayley pretended to be worried about Bill. Ashley and Shanice didn’t buy her act. Shanice and Ashley talked about their relationships and how happy they were. Hayley went to Bill’s room. Naomi wanted Hayley to convince Bill to stay in the hospital to find out what was going on with him. Hayley pretended to convince him to stay. She left to pick up some of Bill’s things. Nicole went to see Dani and was surprised that Dani wasn’t by Bill’s side. Dani said there was nothing to revisit. When Nicole left, Dani went to the hospital. Dani let Chelsea know she was there to support her and Naomi. Bill wanted to know if that was the real reason she was there. He told her he was scared. Dani said he would be fine. She said she wouldn’t accept a world without him in it.

Ted tried to make Tomas feel better about the proposal but it didn’t work. Tomas said he wasn’t where he wanted to be in life. Later on, Ted met with Andre at the restaurant. Andre told Ted that Dani wouldn’t take the preventive measures against cancer. Ted told him to step back and be present. He told Andre to love Dani hard so there were no regrets. Ted talked to Andre about why he hasn’t told Shanice that he loved her. He said he only told Nicole and Leslie that he loved them. Ted said he didn’t want to hurt Shanice the way he hurt Leslie. Andre wanted him to take his own advice. When Hayley went to Bill’s office, she saw Tomas in Bill’s chair. Tomas got out of the chair and said he was there for some files. Hayley said this might be the time for him to seize the moment. She said he wouldn’t be the only one trying to get Bill’s seat. Tomas thought the person was Naomi. When he found out Naomi was doing things for Bill, Tomas was upset that Naomi was trying to take over when he was the one that was there for Bill when she turned her back on him.

Bill said he was okay, but Madison wanted him to go to the hospital. He got his tests done, but they came back inconclusive. Madison thought something could still be wrong with him. Hayley pretended to be worried about Bill, but Naomi didn’t believe her. Naomi thought she should go after someone younger. Hayley wasn’t happy that Naomi called Dani. Bill agreed to make changes, but he wasn’t going to hand Madison’s case over to Naomi. Later Madison let Bill know that he didn’t have a stroke. She refused to let him leave the hospital until he had more blood work done. Madison was determined to find out what happened to Bill. Hayley became worried when Madison said she wanted to find out what was going on with Bill. Chelsea apologized to Kat for turning her liver donation into a promo for their purse line. Kat thought it was a good idea to use their business to educate people about donating, but she didn’t want to be the face of the campaign. She didn’t want to be publicly associated with Eva. Kat agreed to let Chelsea reach out to Eva about going public with the donation.

Dani saw Andre looking a pictures of women with double mastectomies. He loved capturing empowering women in his pictures. Dani called him out because she thought he was talking about her. She snapped at him and told him that she wasn’t a cancer patient and may never be one. Dani wanted him to prove that his feelings didn’t change for her and wanted him to make love to her. As they began to make love, Naomi called Dani to let her know that Bill was in the hospital. Dani surprised Naomi by telling her that she wasn’t going to the hospital. She went back to seducing Andre, but he stopped her because she seemed to be trying too hard. Dani saw it as a rejection. They ended up fighting over it. Andre thought she had Bill on her mind. Jacob told Naomi that he was trying to process the idea of her getting a double mastectomy. He said the only thing that mattered was that she was healthy and by his side for a long time. She left to go to the deposition. Mike showed up to Bill’s office letting them know that he was going to win the case against Madison. Madison showed up and was ready for the case. During the deposition, Mike grilled Madison. Bill and Naomi objected throughout the questioning. Madison remained calm throughout the questions. Mike continued to question Madison, while Bill was getting upset. When it was Bill’s turn to question Madison, he couldn’t focus and became woozy. Madison tried to figure out what was going on with him. Hayley pretended to be concerned about Bill. Jacob told Naomi that he was trying to process the idea of her getting a double mastectomy. Naomi wanted to talk to Dani about something. She told Dani that she betrayed Jacob. Dani thought she cheated on Jacob. Naomi said she was a carrier of the BRCA gene. She told Dani that she was worried about how Jacob was going to react to the news. Dani gave her advice on how to deal with it. Later on when Naomi went home, she told Jacob the truth about being a carrier. She admitted that she has been lying about it to everyone for months. Jacob stood by her side. He said he would be by her side. Naomi said she was going to make her risk lower by having a double mastectomy. When Andre came home, Dani went to him and blamed herself for not being a safe space for Naomi. Andre tried to comfort her, but it didn’t do any good. They ended up arguing over what she could do to lower her risk of cancer. Dani said she wasn’t going to have the radical surgery Naomi considered having. Andre said he loved her body as well as the person inside. Kat let Vernon and Anita know that she was moving into a condo. She said recent things let her know that life goes by fast. Kat thought it was time for her own independence. Later on, Kat went to see Martin. He apologized to her for pressuring her into saving Eva. Kat told him about the dream she had and that she and Eva were on better ground.

Tomas admitted to Kat that he didn’t want to move into a condo with her because he didn’t want to be kept man. He brought up his culture and didn’t want to step into her life. They were supposed to build a life together. He feared that people thought he wanted her for the money. They came up with a plan that worked for both of them. Tomas would stay over occasionally and pay rent until they came up with a plan that worked for both of them. Leslie wanted Jacob to find information about Monica so she wouldn’t have any issues like she did with Lia. After he talked with Leslie, Jacob went home. Naomi planned to tell him the truth about her having the BRCA gene, but he wanted to take her out to make up for the time they lost together. The couple ended up at Uptown. Grayson was working as a bartender there. The manager gave Grayson a part-time job there. Ashley helped Jacob give Naomi an anniversary gift. He vowed to make sure she knew what mattered the most to him.

Leslie had a meeting with Monica. Monica’s the new chief of staff at Garland. She told Leslie that the hospital was cutting ties with the clinic. Leslie wondered if she did that because of the way she treated Shanice. Monica admitted that was why she did it. Leslie found out that Monica was messing with her head to see if she was a changed woman. They made an arrangement to work together. Each woman wanted to keep an eye out for the other.

Kat and Eva were released from the hospital. Joey and Vanessa were back from their trip away. Vanessa made plans to hang out with Deanna. Deanna was still talking to Doug. The Duprees had the party for Kat. Vernon and Anita were shocked with Nicole and Ted informed them about Tomas’ proposal. They hoped Tomas would be smart and not go through with the  proposal. Vernon was making a speech when Tomas interrupted him. He got down on one knee to propose to Kat. Chelsea tried to warn him not to propose to Kat. Kat became uncomfortable, and everyone else grew silent. She took Tomas to another room so they could talk. While they were talking, Kat told Tomas that she wanted to marry him. She just didn’t want to do it right now. Kat wanted to get married for the right reasons. They went back to the party. Tomas was embarrassed, but he realized that it was the right decision. Vernon made a toast to Kat.

Vanessa and Deanna enjoyed a day at the spa. Joey wanted Randall to keep a close eye on Deanna. Randall wasn’t happy about the assignment since Doug was his best friend. Joey wanted to stop Deanna before she tried anything. Later Vanessa told Joey that Deanna wanted to work at the real estate agency with her. He became more suspicious of her when he heard that. Joey thought that was a bad idea. Vanessa planned on letting her work with her at the agency. Jacob wondered what happened to the Impaler. He wasn’t sure if the person was still around. Marcel told him that criminals get sloppy. He believed the Impaler would make a mistake eventually. Jacob agreed to let Marcel look into the case.

Deanna told Kat that she would rather give her organs to science than give them to Joey. She said she wasn’t afraid of Joey because if he did anything to her it would hurt her mother. Kat suggested that Deanna forgive rather than lose time with her mother. Later on, Deanna went to Uptown and saw Vanessa and Joey planning to go away with each other. She talked to Doug about Vanessa and Joey. Doug was surprised that she hadn’t found a way to ruin Vanessa and Joey’s relationship. He told her to stop pushing her mother away. Doug to Deanna to outsmart Doug instead of fighting with him. Deanna took Doug’s advice and tried to play nice with Vanessa and Joey. She told Vanessa that she wanted her to be happy.

Hayley told Bill that he would have had sex with Dani if she hadn’t walked in. Bill tried to calm her down but it didn’t do any good. She ended up telling him to send the employees home so she could have her way with him. Hayley slipped the drug in his drink. She tried to talk him into skydiving so she could try and kill him. Leslie told Eva that she changed and was going to move in with her. Izaiah didn’t think Leslie should move in with her. Kial let Nicole know that he was talking Kat on as a patient.

Naomi didn’t believe Dani when she said there was nothing left between her and Bill other than the love of their children. Dani said Andre was the only man in her heart. Naomi said she caught him fantasizing about her. Ashley wanted Naomi to meet her at Orphey Gene. Hayley asked Bill why his appetite for food and her have disappeared since the tornado. Bill said he was dealing with the emotional fallout since Martin and Kat were almost killed. Hayley said she was glad nothing happened to Andre because Dani would have played the widow card to be back in his arms. Bill told her about a fantasy he had. Hayley said she would meet him at the office. Dani went to Bill’s office to confront him about what Naomi told her. She told him that she wasn’t going to lose her marriage because he was sloppy. Dani said she was going to let him blow up her life again. Randy met with Hayley. She told him that she had to have sex with Bill when she wanted to kill him. Randy told her that Bill wanted to be with Dani.

Things became intense between Dani and Bill. While they were arguing, Hayley walked in on Bill holding Dani’s arm. He stopped her from trying to hit him. Dani told her that nothing was going on. She noticed the way Hayley was dressed and thought that he was recycling what they already did. At the hospital, Kat told Chelsea that Eva would never be her sister. Chelsea wanted to name a bag after Kat based on what she did, but Kat wasn’t interested. Kat wanted the proceeds to go to real heroes. While they were talking, Kat said she wasn’t ready to get married. Tomas asked Ted for Kat’s hand in marriage. Ted gave Tomas his blessing. Naomi met with Ashley. She asked Naomi if Derek would forgive her for moving on with the man responsible for his death. Naomi said Grayson wasn’t responsible for Derek’s death. She told Ashley that she and Derek wouldn’t judge her. Grayson showed up to see Ashley. She told him that she wanted to forgive him. They got back together, but they couldn’t lie to each other. Anita and Vernon went to her appointment. Dr. Bauer told them that Anita’s scans were clear. He said she could move on with the lumpectomy.

Kat was on the mend and wanted to see Eva. Ted left them alone to talk. Kat and Eva were honest with each other. Eva admitted that she gaslit Kat at times. Kat told her about the dream she had after the surgery. Eva thought that was a nightmare for her. Kat felt like the dream gave her insight into what her life was like when she came to town. She wasn’t ready to admit that they were sisters. Eva told her that she would like to believe that she would have helped her if the roles were reversed. Kat started crying and grabbed Eva’s hand. Later, Eva told Ted that she and Kat understood each other better now. Eva didn’t want Ted to focus on her so much. She said that Kat felt rejected. Eva told him to focus on Kat this time. Kat went back to her room. Leslie went to her room so Kat wanted her removed. Leslie refused to leave until she said what was on her mind. She thanked her for saving her daughter’s life. Leslie promised to refrain from calling her names. Kat warned her that she planned to collect the debt she owed her at some point.

Naomi had questions for Bill after she caught him thinking about Dani. He managed not to tell her that he was thinking about what happened in the elevator with Dani. They talked about Madison’s trial. He said he was playing golf with the presiding judge. Naomi warned him not to blackmail or threaten the judge. Tomas met with Chelsea and talked to her about proposing to Kat. She didn’t think it was a good idea to propose right now. Chelsea thought it was because he thought he almost lost her. Andre ran into Bill and Tomas at the gym. He warned Bill that Dani was his responsibility now. Tomas admitted that he was going to propose to Kat. He asked for advice.

The doctor let Ted and Nicole know that the staff was doing everything they could for Kat. While they were by her bedside, Kat had an out of body experience. She relived an alternate version of the past. In Kat’s dream, Nicole was furious when Ted told her Leslie was pregnant with his baby. Dani was still married to Bill. Kat wanted to know where she was. A pregnant Leslie showed up and told Shanice that Ted always wanted a girl. Kat found out that Nicole was pregnant with her and didn’t want the baby. Nicole went to Anita and cried about not wanting to tell Ted that she was pregnant since he chose to be with Leslie. Time went by and Nicole was raising Kat alone. Ted and Leslie were together raising Eva. Later on, Kat lost Platinum Deb to Eva. Nicole has become a disappointment to Anita.

In reality, everyone was waiting to find out about Kat. Tomas told Anita and Vernon that he couldn’t wait for his parents to meet Kat. Ted went back and forth between Eva and Kat. Eva was shocked to find out that Kat was unconscious. Martin felt bad about the way he treated Kat before the operation. In Kat’s fantasy, ChelseaKat was CheEva. Chelsea and Eva were working together. Tomas was dating Eva. People were insulting Kat. Eva said they would be better off if Kat was never born. Kat went to Ted and told him she knew how it felt to be Eva. She told Ted that she didn’t like or trust Eva, but she was okay with him loving them both. Kat said sharing him was better than losing him. Ted hugged her. Kat ended up waking up.

Everyone was worried about Eva and Kat’s surgeries. Shanice was being nice to Leslie so that made her more worried that her daughter was dying. She told Leslie that she would care about everyone. Once the crisis was over, things were going back to normal. Leslie told her that she’s a changed woman. After her conversation with Shanice, Leslie talked to Anita. Anita said she could join the family while they waited for news as long as she behaved. Leslie joined the others and vowed that it would be a new chapter for them. The doctor came out and said that the surgeries were successful. Kat and Eva were in recovery. Joey confided in Vanessa that he wanted to be there for Izaiah, but he knew he couldn’t. Vanessa called Deanna to let her know that she loved her no matter what happened. After her call, Vanessa checked in with Dani. Dani let her know that she and Bill agreed not to tell what happened in the elevator. Vanessa told her that the cheating scandal was avoided. They didn’t know that Andre was nearby and heard about someone cheating. Vanessa lied about someone cheating at the casino. She went to Izaiah to let him know that Joey sent his thoughts.

Nicole wanted to be by Kat’s side and told Ted that he could be with Eva with Leslie without feeling guilty. Eva slowly started to wake up. She was shocked to find out who saved her life. Kat’s recovery took a turn for the worst. She was on a ventilator. Kat would be on a ventilator until she could breathe on her own. Tomas was scared that she hadn’t woke up. Ted was sure there was nothing to worry about. Kat’s heartbeat elevated so the doctors rushed into her room. Her family was worried about her. Martin went to social media to announce that the money from the fundraiser would go towards helping the community recover from the tornado. He received a call and found out that he won the primary. He wasn’t happy because of what happened to Kat. Joey wanted Elon to tell Jacob to back off when it concerned connecting him to the Impaler. Darlene told Jacob she’s going to give Eva a chance so she won’t lose Izaiah again. Carlton ran into Naomi and talked about her rescheduling her appointment. She didn’t want anyone to hear their conversation.
