Dani and Andre were at Orphey Gene’s when Heather showed up. Heather acted as if she didn’t know Andre when Dani introduced them. Randy was watching them at another table. Andre was uncomfortable with Dani and Heather talking to each other. When Heather left, Andre warned Dani to keep a distance from her since she’s Joey’s sister. Later on, Andre went to Heather’s room to let her know that whatever she was doing was going to stop. Heather said she would leave Dani alone if he gave her what she wanted. Before he left, she told him it was a limited time offer. At Bill’s office, Naomi and Tomas got into an argument over Madison’s case because Mike complained about the way she was handling it. When Mike showed up, he said his client wanted to settle. Mike said Bill’s health was a reason why they should consider settling the case. After Mike left, Naomi and Tomas argued over what to do next.

Naomi went to the hospital to tell Bill about Tomas. Bill told her to leave Tomas to him. He warned Tomas to stay in his lane if he didn’t want to get fired. At Uptown, Chelsea got a call from an unknown caller. The person hung up on her. Kat told her it was probably a telemarketer. She noticed that Chelsea was uncomfortable. Chelsea didn’t want to do the live stream of their trip to Tokyo. Kat said she understood that the anniversary of her kidnapping impacted her. She let Chelsea know that she would be there for her. When Chelsea’s phone rang again, Kat answered the phone. The person hung up again. Chelsea believed that Allison was the one calling her. Hayley went to see Bill. He told her he wanted to get out of the hospital. Hayley said she wanted it too. They wanted Ashley to get someone to release him. Bill asked Hayley to go to his office to get his laptop. Hayley found a way to talk to Randy about poisoning Bill. Randy told her it was a mistake to do it in the DMV instead of on their vacation, but she didn’t care. When Hayley went to Bill’s office, Dani showed up looking for Naomi. They ended up arguing with each other.

Leslie let Marcel know that she wasn’t living on his boat. She said she would never apologize for wanting more and going after it. While she was talking, she broke up with him. When she was alone, she thought about her relationship with Ted. Marcel went to Uptown and talked to Grayson. Eva talked to Izaiah about her parents’ relationship. He thought about the conversation he had with Joey. They talked about Leslie and Joey’s reputations, but they were loyal to the people they loved. Nicole’s place was a mess so Kial offered to help clean up. While Kial was cleaning, he broke a crystal dish that was a wedding gift for Nicole and Ted. Nicole became emotional over the gift being destroyed which was understandable to Kial. They ended up talking about loss and moving on. Nicole said she had regrets, but she was glad that she and Kial met when they did. Ted went to see Bill at the hospital. They talked about their failed marriages. Bill said Nicole wasn’t over Ted the way she pretended to be. He asked Ted what drew him to Leslie. Ted said Leslie wasn’t always the person she is now. He flashed back to his relationship with Leslie. They talked about Bill trying to stop Ted from seeing Leslie. There was a flashback of Ted taking off his ring and telling Leslie that he loved her. Bill asked Ted about Shanice. Ted said he loved her.

Dani and Andre were spending time together at home when she brought out the wine that Heather gave them. It made Andre think about his secret. Dani thought about her own secret. She was remorseful about spending so much time with Bill. Andre realized that he should have talked to her about it instead of drinking. Noah couldn’t get on the open mic night so Nicole offered to let him perform at her place. He was able to perform for Anita. Anita loved what she heard and invited him to sit on a recording session. Izaiah went to see Joey at the casino to talk. He thanked him for saving him. Joey considered him the closest thing to a son and thanked him for the impact he had on his life. He was proud of the man Izaiah has become. Vanessa arrived at the casino and was hoping that Deanna’s interest in Noah would keep her out of her business with Joey.

Leslie and Marcel had dinner at Orphey Gene’s. Their conversation got intimate. They didn’t know that Eva was in a booth near them and could hear their conversation. Eva heard her mother talking about wanting to be someone’s person. Marcel asked her to move to the boat with him. Leslie didn’t think that was her scene. Marcel left to go to the bathroom. Eva went to Leslie’s table to call her out for blowing a sure thing for something that wasn’t going to happen. Marcel came back to the table, and Leslie apologized for turning down his invitation. She offered to sing for him in the middle of Orphey Gene’s.

At the hospital, Bill said he wanted to go home. Since he couldn’t go home, he was willing to snuggle in bed with Hayley. Shanice walked in and said hospital beds were for patients. She told Hayley that she wanted both of her feet on the floor at all times when she came to visit Bill. After Shanice left, Hayley went back to hugging Bill. When the alarms went off, Ashley came into the room and told Bill and Hayley the same thing Shanice said. Bill said he was going home. Ashley and Hayley ended up arguing which led to Ashley calling security on Hayley to throw her out. Hayley said she would be with Bill until his last breath.

Eva told Leslie to give up on Ted. She asked Leslie where things stood with Marcel. Leslie said a daughter shouldn’t be giving her mother relationship advice. Eva thought somebody should give her advice. She said Leslie deserved better. After Eva left, Leslie called Marcel to let him know that he needed to do better if he wanted to be with her. Ted showed up to meet Shanice. He wanted to meet her brothers. Shanice said she wasn’t sure if he was ready for that. Vanessa talked to Nicole about Heather. She said she liked Heather, but Joey was weary of her. Later on, Vanessa tried to find out why Joey was estranged from Heather, but he wouldn’t tell her anything. Joey wanted her to let him know if it was a deal breaker for her. Vanessa agreed not to ask anything else about Heather.

Andre and Heather reunited. It turns out that they had a past together. He was uncomfortable when she questioned him. Andre was surprised that she was Joey’s sister. He tried to get away from her, but she pulled him into a kiss. Andre pulled away from her and walked away. Heather thought it was only goodbye for now. Andre went to Uptown and started drinking. He had a flashback of talking to someone who warned him about Heather. The man warned him that Heather would go after his loved ones too. Dani arrived and wanted to know what happened, but he told her nothing was wrong. Vernon visited Bill at the hospital. He was happy to see Bill recovering, but he wanted to know what his intentions were with Dani. Vernon wanted an honest answer from him. He asked Bill if he was trying to get back together with Dani. Vernon refused to let Bill ruin Dani and Andre’s marriage. After Vernon finished talking to Bill, he left the room. Chelsea went to see Bill too. She wasn’t happy to see that he was working. Chelsea found it hard to believe that Hayley was doing good deeds.

Tomas found Naomi in Bill’s office again. Dani felt like Tomas should take time off and let Naomi handle things at the office. After Tomas left, Naomi informed her mother that she didn’t plan on taking over her father’s company or working with Bill once he’s better. Later, Tomas and Naomi had another run in. She wasn’t happy that Tomas took files to her father when he needed to rest. Tomas took the rest of the day off and met with Kat. He wanted to spend time with her, but she had to work. Anita was surprised to hear that Chelsea and Kat wanted to name their new purse “The Nikki” since the other name was taken by a rival company. She warned her grandchildren that Nicole wouldn’t be happy that they wanted to name a purse after the name Leslie called her. Kat informed her that Leslie changed after what happened to Eva. She admitted that she might have been too hard on Eva. They weren’t going to be best friends, but she might not be as bad as she thought.

Joey called someone and told the person to make it happen. Someone ended up grabbing Heather and took her to Joey’s place. Joey wanted to know what she was doing with Vanessa. Heather said Vanessa wasn’t her pawn. She reminded him that they were family. Joey said he adored her but that was a long time ago. He said there were things he couldn’t unsee when he looked at her. Joey reminded her of what she did as the Impaler. He said there was a limit to what he would do but he couldn’t say the same for her. Joey said that was where the problem was. Heather said the difference between them was she was willing to get her hands dirty or bloody while he had other people do it. Joey threatened to kill her if she did anything to Vanessa. Andre called someone and asked if the person had eyes on their mutual headache.

Andre talked to Smitty about attracting certain people when he was at his lowest. He let Smitty know that Dani changed him. Andre said he was afraid that his past was catching up to him. Later on, Andre got a text from the mystery person telling him to meet at the Bowman Hotel. When he went to meet the person, it turned out to be Heather. Dani met with her family so they could tell her what they have been saying about her. She wanted them to tell her their concerns about Bill. Dani told them nothing was going on with Bill. They let her know they would be there for her if she needed them.

At the hospital, Bill thought Andre was there because he was jealous. Bill said he asked to see Dani and she went to see him right away. He told Andre that no matter how hard he tried, Dani wouldn’t stop thinking about him. Andre said Dani had memories of him because their relationship was in the past. He told Bill that their relationship was going to stay in the past. Andre ripped into Bill for taking pride in the idea of Dani having feelings for him after what he did to her. While they were arguing, Bill’s heart started racing. Ashley came in and told Andre about stressing Bill out. Andre got a text from the person who has been texting him. Dani talked to Vanessa and Heather about Bill and Andre.

Later on, Dani went to the hospital and found out about Bill and Andre’s argument. Dani went into Bill’s room and threatened him if he ever told Andre what they did. Hayley showed up. Dani left the room. She asked Bill if she and Andre should be worried about him and Dani. Andre went to Uptown and got another mystery text. The person said they were at the bar. Andre got a call from Dani. Someone watched him while he was on the phone. Vanessa went to see Joey who wasn’t happy about her spending time with Heather. Joey thought Heather was after something. He thought Heather wanted to merge their businesses and wondered how far she was willing to go to get what she wanted.

Vanessa talked to Joey about playing tennis with Heather. Joey told her that Heather didn’t play tennis. Their conversation was cut short when they heard Andre and Dani have a heated conversation about her attentiveness towards Bill. Ted called Andre so he cut the conversation short. Dani tried to convince Vanessa and Joey that things couldn’t be better between them. After Joey left, Vanessa wanted to talk to Dani about her reaction to Bill almost dying. She wanted Dani to realize that she still loved Bill. Dani said she loved Andre too. She said she wanted to be with Andre. Vanessa felt like she was trying to convince herself that she wanted him. Dani knew she had to put Andre first and get Bill out of her system.

Joey went to see Bill at the hospital. He told him that he should go to another hospital if they couldn’t find out what was wrong with him. After his visit with Bill, Joey ran into Hayley. He warned her that he was watching her. Tomas and Naomi go at it in Bill’s office again. She put him in his place when he accused her of taking over the company. After their conversation, Naomi thanked Caroline for saving her father’s life. She asked Caroline what she thought about Tomas. Caroline admitted that she didn’t trust him.

Hayley told Randy what was going on with Bill. While the Duprees were gathered together, Hayley felt like she didn’t belong. Leslie showed up and wanted to be there for Hayley. She told Hayley that she knew what it was like being on the outside of a powerful family. The doctor showed up and said Bill had a cardiac arrest instead of a heart attack and was on a long road to recovery. Hayley wanted the Duprees to leave, but Dani refused to leave. Hayley said they all wanted Bill to die if it meant she was out of their lives. Dani ripped into Hayley. Nicole showed up and kept the situation from getting worse.

Ashley said Bill was awake and wanted to see Dani. Dani went to see Bill. He apologized to her and said he should have apologized more. While they were talking, Hayley walked in on them. Bill said he didn’t remember what happened. Kial went to the hospital with Nicole. Anita told Nicole that she approved of her choice. Joey overheard part of Randy’s conversation with Hayley and wanted to know what was going on. Randy lied to him about the conversation. Vernon called Joey to ask him about Hayley and Randy. Joey said Hayley and Randy were friends but the situation didn’t involve him.

Caroline called 9-1-1 for help with Bill. Darlene talked her through CPR so she could help Bill. The EMTs arrived to help Bill. Dani talked to Naomi and Chelsea and wanted to know if she was too involved in their lives. She also wanted to know if she was too involved in Hayley’s marriage. They were honest and said that she was, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. While they were talking, Jacob called Naomi to tell her what happened to Bill. They rushed to the hospital. Bill was having surgery while they rushed to the hospital. Hayley showed up at the hospital pretending to be concerned about Bill. Dani felt like Hayley’s behavior was inappropriate, and they started arguing. Shanice did her best to stop the women from arguing. Dani snapped and said she would always be there for “her” husband. Everyone was surprised by her comment. Later Dani admitted to Anita and Vernon that she was afraid that Bill would die. Hayley told Ashley that she didn’t want Dani allowed in Bill’s room.

Eva continued to push Izaiah away. Izaiah continued to reassure her that he didn’t have a problem with her scar. Eva felt disfigured. He thought she should see a therapist. Izaiah felt like she was trying to make him the bad guy even though he wasn’t one. He walked out of the apartment. Eva thought about their relationship. Izaiah left to get advice about his relationship with Eva. He went back to the apartment to see Eva. She seemed willing to listen to him. Eva kissed him. Joey and Vanessa talked about their plans to meet with Heather for dinner when he got a call that the security cameras were down in the casino. He left to take care of the problem. Heather walked in the room after Joey left. She and Vanessa took shots. Heather let her know that she approved of her. Joey came back and warned her that Heather always had an agenda. He let her know that Heather pretended to drink and remained sober.

Hayley wanted to get out of town right away. Bill told her that she was making too big of a deal out of what happened with Dani and the girls. Hayley said she wasn’t making a big deal out of it. They ended up arguing over it. She told him that she was going with or without him. Bill said they could leave today. He said he was going to the office and would meet her at the airport. Hayley talked to Randy and told him that she was going to be a widow soon. Later on, Bill collapsed at the office. Caroline called for help. Dani and Vanessa talked about Bill. Heather showed up and wanted to take a selfie with Dani and Vanessa. She wanted to take the picture with Dani and Vanessa for personal use. Andre talked to Smitty about finding the person who has been texting him. Heather told Vanessa that she wanted to have dinner with her and Joey.  Later on, Vanessa told Joey that Heather wanted to have dinner with them.

Kial wanted to have sex with Nicole, but she wanted to talk to him. He thought she chose Carlton over him. She told Kial he was the man she wanted to be with. They said they weren’t ready for a long-time commitment, but they were ready to be exclusive. Ted talked to Eva about her scar. He said it wasn’t unusual for transplant patients to have this type of reaction. Ted said after everything she went through it was understandable for her to react this way. He suggested that she be patient and that they would talk about doing something when she was further along. Ted said she should see a therapist and would ask Nicole to recommend someone.

Andre wanted to talk to Dani, but Chelsea interrupted him to talk about her conversation with Caroline. Bill called Chelsea so she could meet him at the club. Chelsea met Bill at the club and told him that she thought Hayley was cheating on him. Bill told her he didn’t need her help or anyone else’s help with Hayley. Randy told Hayley that they needed to finish Bill off before the people who are concerned about him figure out what was going on. He reminded her that she almost got killed from another con they did in the past because she got distracted. Hayley said she was going to take Bill to the island and give him the drugs while she waited for him to pass out. She said once Bill passed out, Randy’s guy would arrange a quick cremation without an autopsy. Hayley called Caroline so she could clear Bill’s schedule so they could leave town.

When Bill went home, he was dizzy and had double vision. He confronted her about cheating on him. Hayley wanted to know why she would cheat on him when he was the best thing that happened to her. She said they needed to get out of town. Dani met up with Randy. While they were talking, she told him that she and half the town were rooting for him. She told him that running off with Hayley would make people happy. While Chelsea and Andre were talking, he got a text from someone saying they wanted to get together. Leslie told Ted that Eva was struggling and needed his help. Ted told her he couldn’t help with Eva’s scar. He said it was a bad idea for Eva to go under the knife so soon. Ted thought she needed emotional support. Eva didn’t need surgery. Leslie said he was a disgrace and tried to leave. Ted continued to convince her that Eva didn’t need the surgery, but Leslie said she would find a doctor who would help Eva. Nicole met with Carlton who told her that he didn’t want to be a part of her triangle. Carlton told her it was time to make a decision. Nicole said she wasn’t ready for that. He wanted to know why she would choose Kial over him. She said Kial was a fresh start while she has known Carlton for a long time. Carlton thought she didn’t want to make a commitment with him. He said he would continue being friends with her.

Eva and Izaiah had breakfast at Orphey Gene’s. She wasn’t thrilled about their night together. Eva decided to make an appointment with Carlton to discuss her scarring. She wondered if there was something that could be done to get rid of her scars from the surgery. Unfortunately she received news she didn’t want to hear. Carlton said that wasn’t an option for her right now. Eva broke down after she heard the news. She felt like she was disconnected from her body. Eva wanted to feel like herself again. She went home and started packing her revealing clothes. Leslie arrived and gave Eva a pep talk. She wanted Eva to lean on her and Izaiah. They would help her get through anything. Tyrell wanted to spend more time with Jessica. He got into a heated conversation with his parents about the time he was spending with Jessica. Tyrell stormed out and went to Orphey Gene’s. He met with Jessica who gave him unexpected news. She told him that they needed to break things off starting now because she felt lost in their relationship. Samantha told Martin and Smitty that Tyrell becomes overly attached to people because of what they went through as kids. Jessica sent her a text letting her know that she ended things with Tyrell.

Naomi went to Bill’s office to see if he and Hayley had a pre-nup. Tomas walked in and wanted to know why she was looking in Bill’s desk. Naomi made an excuse and walked out. Later on, Naomi went to Jacob and told him about his theories about Hayley and Randy. Jacob said they needed to compare notes. Chelsea went to Uptown to see what information she could get from Caroline. Hayley told Bill she wanted to go on their trip right away. Bill told her he was having health issues. While they were talking, they decided to stay home. Dani showed up while they were talking. She warned Hayley that she could play any game she wanted but the Dupree women were there to stay. Eva took Noah to Uptown to celebrate his first day at the clinic. Leslie showed up and took credit for him getting the job. Izaiah showed up. He and Eva left. Leslie told him to be a music star. She warned him about Anita and Nicole. While they were talking, the bonded over their mothers being dead. Nicole let Carlton know that she made her choice. He didn’t understand that she chose Kial. While they were talking, Kial showed up. They left the hospital together.

Hayley tried to reach out to Randy, but he was distracted by his conversation with Mona. He let her know that he’s available. Mona cared about him, but she didn’t understand what the pull was. Chelsea talked to Naomi about her podcast with Eva and how it over a million views. They talked about Kat playing detective. While they were talking, Kat sent them a message. She was spying on Randy and Mona. As soon as Randy left, Kat rushed to Mona’s table to ask her about him. Mona denied having feelings for Randy. Later Kat went to Naomi’s and saw Hayley there making a fake apology. Dani arrived too, and they realized that Hayley and Randy were from Philly. Mona went to the casino to play cards with Joey for Randy’s soul. She won the game, but she didn’t secure Randy’s future.

Bill needed someone to talk to so he went to see Joey. He wasn’t sure what was going on with his health. Bill admitted that he was scared and hates not being in control. Dying doesn’t scare him. He doesn’t like leaving things unfinished. Bill wanted Joey to look out for his family if something happened to him. Joey agreed to do it. He wanted Bill to look out for Vanessa if something happened to him first. Dani, Vanessa, and Anita were at the club. She told them that Bill threw the girls out of his house because of Hayley. Anita wasn’t happy about that. Dani also told them her theory that Randy and Hayley were having an affair. Anita revealed that she saw Hayley cozying up to Kyle during the fundraiser. Anita and Dani left so Randy joined Vanessa. While they were talking, it came out that Randy was shot. Doug couldn’t help him so he was inspired to become a doctor. They felt like they let Doug down at the end. Vanessa warned him that Bill wasn’t a man he should mess with.

Bill let Hayley know that her behavior towards his daughters wasn’t acceptable. Hayley said she was being disrespected in their house. Dani was ready to defend her daughters, but they wanted her to calm down so she wouldn’t get their father upset or trigger more symptoms. Dani went to Bill’s house. She ripped into Bill letting him know that their daughters came first. Before she left, Dani told him that dying wasn’t an option. Hayley met Randy at Uptown. Randy gave her more of the serum. They talked about the plan of getting rid of Bill sooner rather than later. Hayley said she wanted to make the plan happen when she and Bill went to the Caribbean since there wouldn’t be as many medical tests there. Naomi, Chelsea, and Kat talked about Randy and how he was connected to Hayley. They thought it was possible that Hayley was cheating with Randy. Kat said they should do some digging with Hayley and Randy. When Kat left, Bill showed up. Bill wanted Naomi and Chelsea to call before stopping by the house so everyone’s boundaries were respected. Naomi and Chelsea were upset when Bill said it was Hayley’s idea, but they agreed to it. Joey couldn’t stop thinking about Heather and what she wanted. Vanessa tried to take his mind off of it by kissing him. Deanna walked in on them making out. She acted as if she didn’t see them. Joey talked about the casino making money. Deanna said he was cold hearted for not caring that people were losing everything. Vanessa wanted her to apologize. Deanna apologized and said the casino was a trigger for her. She left and went to Orphey Gene’s where she met up with Randy. He thought about Joey wanting him to get close to her.

Dani went to Nicole’s house to talk to her, but she walked in on Nicole and Kial in bed together. When Kial went in the shower, Nicole told Dani she was having fun with Kial. Dani didn’t believe it since he was putting down roots. She told Nicole that she should move on since Ted was moving on. After Kial left, Dani wanted to talk to Nicole about her reaction to Naomi getting a double mastectomy. Nicole advised her to take a deep breath before talking to Naomi. She told Dani not to say anything to Naomi if she thought she was going to hurt her feelings. Bill told Hayley that he wanted to call Madison about his hand shaking, but Hayley told him it would be a waste of time. Hayley said his test results showed nothing and he had a big case load. When Bill was about to agree with Hayley, Naomi and Chelsea showed up. They told Bill to make an appointment with Madison. Bill and Hayley told them why he couldn’t make the appointment. The conversation led to an argument between Hayley and the girls. Bill took Hayley’s side and told them to leave.

Hayley checked Bill’s fitness ring and said he was fine until his daughters showed up. She said he was stressed out and didn’t need to go to the hospital. Hayley suggested they go away so he could relax. Bill agreed with her, but he wanted to talk about the way she treated his daughters. Kat met up with Naomi and Chelsea to talk about Hayley. They talked about Hayley’s actions towards Bill. Kat said it was like one of the podcasts where the housewives killed their husbands. She wondered if Hayley was a black widow. Chelsea said Hayley was annoying but she wasn’t a killer. Naomi said Hayley was a liar and brought up how she faked the ultrasound. Kat took out her notes for when they had to present their case. They thought Hayley didn’t get the fairytale life she wanted with Bill and was insecure about Dani. While they were talking, they thought Hayley could be having an affair with “Sammy.” Dani showed up and said his name was Randy. When Naomi and Chelsea let Dani know Bill threw them out, Dani was furious.

Leslie went to Ted’s office while Eva interviewed Noah. She told Eva that she had a say in who got hired since she owned the clinic. When Leslie found out that Noah was Kial’s son, she laughed. Noah said music was his first love, but he would give the job his all. Eva was reluctant to hire him, but Leslie overruled her. Dani met Nicole at the club. Nicole told Dani that she picked Kial, but felt bad about leading Carlton on. Dani told her she didn’t need to feel guilty. She told Nicole that she was dealing with two grown men who could opt out if they didn’t like the arrangement. Leslie showed up to let them know that she hired Kial’s son. When Leslie tried to start an argument with Nicole, Dani picked up a knife and threatened her. Nicole let Leslie know that Ted was in love with Shanice.

Chelsea talked to Naomi about Kat while Kat talked to Deanna about Chelsea. When Kat was finished, Deanna told her she gave her the perfect way to handle Joey. She told Kat she had another voice in her head too. Naomi sent Kat a text to meet her at Uptown. When Kat showed up, she realized it was a set up. Kat talked about the interview Chelsea had with Eva. Chelsea said it wasn’t her fault that Kat had organ remorse. Naomi turned herself into the enemy which made Chelsea and Kat make up. They decided to put their differences aside

Leslie was upset to hear about Ted and Shanice being in love. She barged into Ted’s office and told him to stop being foolish. Ted was tired of her antics and advised her to move on with her life. He sat her down and told her that they were never in love. Ted felt like she was a convenience for him. Leslie needed to find someone who could love her the way she deserved to be loved. She didn’t hear what he was saying. Leslie thought his relationship with Shanice was temporary. She warned him not to come running to her when it fell apart because she wouldn’t be there. After her conversation with Ted, Leslie went to the club for a drink. While she was there, she ran into Vanessa. Vanessa tried to advise Leslie to move on with her life, but Leslie didn’t want to listen to her. Leslie felt like her relationship with Ted was beyond love. Vanessa told her that she and Ted wouldn’t have lasted long even if they got married. Leslie didn’t want to hear her advice and called her out for ditching her husband and children to be with Joey. She thought Joey wouldn’t remember Vanessa’s name a year from now. Everyone else in town gathered for Anita’s party. She wanted to celebrate her successful radiation treatment.

Dani noticed that Andre was obsessed with the champagne bottle. Pamela interrupted their conversation by calling to let Dani know about an offer. Dani was drinking so she wanted Andre to take her to Uptown. Pamela informed Dani that an entertainment reporter wanted to do a story on Dani and her loved ones. Andre wasn’t happy about the news. While they were celebrating, someone was watching them from outside. Heather purposely let Vanessa think that she had a relationship with Joey by saying they shared a bed together. Vanessa thought she was Joey’s ex but realized that Heather was Joey’s sister. They checked each other out and exchanged comments towards each other. Joey arrived and tried to be the peacemaker. Heather told Joey that she was happy for him. She said that she was on her way back to London. Joey said that Heather couldn’t be trusted. He wanted Vanessa to inform him if Heather comes back to town.

Anastasia approached Martin and Smitty at the club and offered her congratulations. She also talked about Ted saving her face during the tornado. The conversation made Martin think about what he did to Kenneth when he beat him months ago. Anastasia made her rounds and talked to Kial. She made comments about the men in Nicole’s life. Kial called her out for the men that are in her life. Anastasia approached Joey and Vanessa and threatened to turn them into board for violating the code of conduct. Vanessa talked about her relations with the gigolo Diego, and Joey said that the board courted him about being a member.

Smitty and Jacob talked about the lies between Hayley and Lynette. While they were talking, they talked about the Impaler. Heather went to see Joey. She said she was there to tie up a loose end. The loose end was Smitty. Since Smitty’s stories were getting attention, she had to eliminate the threat. Joey told her to leave Smitty alone because he was married to a congressman he needed re-elected. Heather wanted to know what the problem was since America loved sob stories. She said Martin losing his husband would guarantee a win. Joey was able to convince Heather not to do anything to Smitty if he was able to convince Smitty not to write the story on the Impaler.

Chelsea met with Eva to do a live stream about organ donation. Eva admitted that she didn’t want to be an organ donor because she thought of it as people using black people as spare parts. Chelsea said she never thought about it that way. Eva said Chelsea would be saved since she was a Dupree. Chelsea ended up agreeing to do the live stream. Kat watched them and thought Eva was being fake. Samantha said she thought Eva was being genuine. Andre was suspicious of the champagne that Dani got. He left to go to the club. Vanessa showed up to talk to Dani. She told Dani to forget about what she did in the elevator and focus on Andre. While Dani and Vanessa watched Chelsea’s live stream, Vanessa noticed Andre in the background. Dani was spiraling. Vanessa couldn’t keep her from losing control. Andre looked at pictures of himself drinking the champagne that Dani was sent. Hayley gave Bill new workout clothes. She said they were going to get him healthy. After they worked out, Bill was winded. Hayley wanted to give him something to drink. Bill’s hand started to tremble.

Dani and Bill vowed to be there for Naomi because of her diagnosis. When they were finished, Dani went to see Anita. Vernon wanted to talk to Bill. He told Bill that his hospitalization was something that shouldn’t be ignored. Vernon said he would be there for Bill despite their past if he needed to talk. When Vernon left, Jacob showed up. Bill almost collapsed. Naomi and Andre talked at Orphey Gene’s. He was trying to fix things between her and Dani. Dani told Anita that she wasn’t happy that she encouraged Naomi to get the surgery if she wanted to. While they were talking, they managed to work things out. Later on, Dani went home and found a belated wedding gift. The gift didn’t have a name on it. She wanted to open the champagne bottle, but Andre was suspicious about the bottle since it came from a place he spent time in the past.

Hayley met with Randy to talk about Dani. She was upset that Bill was taking too long to die. After Hayley left, Mona showed up. She asked Randy if Joey made him do something that didn’t sit well with his soul. Randy warned her not to waste her time with him because he wasn’t worth saving. Mona said everyone deserved a chance at salvation. When Mona left, Hayley came back and wondered why he was wasting his time on her. Randy refused to let her say bad things about Mona. Hayley told him that he needed to stay away from Mona before it ended badly. Jacob wanted to make sure Bill was okay. Bill told him to focus on his wife. Dani was excited about the champagne, but Andre didn’t want to drink it. When Dani left to take a call from Vanessa, Andre called someone. The number he called was disconnected. He picked up the card to see if he could find out who sent the gift.

Anita refused to help Dani talk Naomi out of getting a double mastectomy. Dani was upset so Anita reminded her that they didn’t have a say in what Naomi does with her body. She wanted to listen to Naomi but didn’t think they should be fighting about it. Naomi talked to Bill about having the BRCA gene. He was surprisingly calm about it. Naomi asked him about his health, and he told her that Haley came up with a new diet and exercise plan for him. Anita wanted Naomi to come to the house. Naomi informed her that she did her research about getting a mastectomy. She admitted that she didn’t have it in her to go through what Anita went through. Anita would support her any way she could. Naomi didn’t think she and her mother would see eye to eye on the subject, but Anita thought they would come together. Hayley met with Randy at Uptown. She told him that she convinced Smitty to look in Leah’s direction when it concerned Lynette’s disappearance. Their conversation shifted to Bill. Hayley planned to make him exercise so much that the drug would work faster. She hoped he would end up in the mortuary instead of the hospital. Randy warned her not to overdo it when it concerned the drug so it wouldn’t get detected.

Hayley went to see Bill after talking to Randy. She brought him a smoothie and told him that he would be getting on a treadmill. Deanna went to Orphey Gene’s and saw a musician trying to pay his bill. Unfortunately his card declined. Deanna offered to pay his bill. She realized he was from LA when he tried to pay her back. While they were talking, it turned out that his father used to work at Garland Memorial and his mother passed away. He noticed her grief about her father. Deanna talked to June about vibing with the musician. Dani found Hayley with a glass of champagne at Uptown. She confronted Hayley about drinking while Bill was dealing with health issues. Hayley lied to Dani and told her that she was celebrating Bill not having symptoms since he left the hospital. Bill drank more of the smoothie Haley brought him. He became wobbly and collapsed on the floor. He struggled to get up and wondered what was happening to him.

Dani told Anita and Vernon that Naomi had the BRCA gene. Anita blamed herself for what happened. Dani said Naomi didn’t want them to be sad or guilty about it. She said they needed to be there for Naomi. Anita agreed to be there for Naomi. She ended up crying. After Vernon left, Dani asked Anita to talk Naomi out of the double mastectomy. Elon invited Izaiah to Orphey Gene’s to mend fences. Izaiah was only there because he thought someone was hurt. Elon told him he wanted to extend an olive branch. They talked about the past. Elon told him he was happy that he found something he was good at. He said it was all he ever wanted for Izaiah. Vanessa told Nicole that she was happy that Deanna was warming up to Joey. Nicole warned her not to expect too much. They talked about Nicole’s love life. Nicole said that Kial fulfilled her emotional and physical needs, but she didn’t want to stop having fun with Kial and Carlton.

Marcel told Jacob that he wanted to give him another undercover assignment. He told Jacob that he wanted him to go undercover to get information on a prisoner’s crew. Jacob didn’t want to do it. Marcel said he couldn’t rely on one bust. He said this was a chance for Jacob to prove himself as more than the chief’s son. Jacob didn’t want to do the case because he needed to be close to home right now. Eva went to the hospital to find out how Kat’s PT was going. Kial told her Kat wasn’t doing PT anymore and that she was doing well. He told her she shouldn’t go back to work. Shanice showed up and talked to Kial about her relationship with Ted. Nicole showed up. She flirted with Kial. They went to her office. After they made out, Kial told Nicole that Ted and Shanice were in the love stage of their relationship. Nicole said she felt strange about it. Kial understood her feelings but wondered if she was holding out hope that she and Ted would get back together.

Bill felt like he knew Dani’s desires better than anyone including Andre. He suggested they hook up without anyone knowing. Dani insisted they would never be together again. He felt like there was a chance for them to get together. Dani told him that Hayley would always be a sidepiece regardless of the ring on her finger. She refused to be a sidepiece. Their conversation was interrupted when Nicole arrived. Bill walked away from Dani. Nicole said the secret was out. She was talking about Naomi’s condition. Dani was shocked to find out that Naomi was considering getting a double mastectomy. She was determined to talk Naomi out of making that decision. Nicole suggested that she take a step back and not steamroll Naomi. Kat met with Tomas at Uptown. He informed her that he was cutting his trip to Puerto Rico short. She told him that things were going on that Bill didn’t know about. Bill arrived and wanted to know what she meant by that. Kat covered by telling him good things about Tomas and reminding him that he rushed to marry someone he didn’t respect. After Bill left, Tomas asked him to watch out for Naomi while he’s gone. He believed that Naomi was after his job. Kat agreed to watch out for Naomi, but she reminded him that she was her family.

Ted told Shanice that he was falling in love with her more every day. She was shocked and wanted to know what changed. Ted couldn’t tell her the exact moment. He was okay with it that she didn’t feel the same way yet. Shanice needed to think for a minute. She went to the hospital to talk to Ashley. Shanice admitted that she didn’t have faith in love. They had a conversation about the highs and lows of love and that it’s worth the risk. Shanice went back to Ted and told him that she was in love with him too. Ted promised her that their relationship was was going to be good.
