EJ wanted answers from Rita. They talked about the Kiriakis mansion. He was mad that Dominic Marino bought the house before he could. EJ didn’t think Rita did everything she could to stop the sale. He told her what he found out about Dominic Marino in Italy. Rita was nervous about that. She looked at the picture of Dominic and Stefano. Rita said she didn’t know much about it. EJ thought Rolf was behind everything since he was missing. He was finding it hard to trust people. Mason met with Marlena at the pub to talk about his last shift at the mental health hotline. The caller reminded him of his friend who served with him in the war. He committed suicide when he came home. Marlena assured him that he did the right thing.
Belle and Chad were at the square when Cat showed up. Belle left them to talk. Chad called Cat out for being in the ISA. He thought she couldn’t be trusted because she wouldn’t have let Clyde control her if she still had connections with the ISA. Cat tried to explain that the ISA must have a mole working for Clyde. He didn’t care. Chad kept yelling at her and told her that she was delusional if she didn’t think that EJ was keeping secrets from her. Belle talked to Marlena about what she and Chad found out in Italy. She showed Marlena the picture of Stefano and a little boy. Belle told Marlena that the boy might be Dominic Marino. Marlena didn’t recognize the name. She told her mother that she and Chad thought that Dominic was the missing pawn and that he bought the estate. Marlena looked at the picture again and realized “Marino means of the sea just like DiMera.”
