Stephanie says Kate gave notes but she really likes it. Jada encourages her to get it published. Stephanie admits part of her wants to but part of her is a little afraid, because it’s pretty erotic and even though it would be published under a pseudonym, there’s still some personal stuff in there that’s mostly fictionalized. Jada declares the one way to settle this is she needs to read it. Stephanie asks if she really wants to. Jada tells her to hand it over, so she does.

Philip guesses that Xander was going to smother him.
Johnny tells Rafe that it’s no secret that he and his dad weren’t getting along after he found out what he did to his mom. Rafe asks if the answer is yes. Johnny acknowledges that Rafe has always been like part of his family, but he’s also an officer of the law, so he questions in which capacity Rafe is asking him these questions. Xander asks if Philip believes that he was trying to stop himself. Philip responds that he believes if Xander wanted to kill him, he would’ve done it even after he woke up, but he still came in with the initial intention of doing him in.
