Brady came to in his car. Paulina and Jada were at the crime scene at the square. Jada didn’t get an ID of the driver, but they were going to gather footage from the security cameras. The skid marks proved that the driver hit a pole in the distance. Jada was going to have forensics check the gray paint they found. Brady got out of his car (which is gray) and wondered why he was there. He flashed back to going to a bar. Brady wondered if he drove drunk. Fiona gave Xander coffee as Maggie walked by. Maggie felt bad for having trouble finding the key to the cabin. She thought Sarah could have met with Xander if she found it. Xander told Maggie that the only person responsible was the one who left Sarah to die. Fiona flashed back to hitting Sarah. If Sarah didn’t make it, Xander planned to kill the driver. Kayla arrived and told Xander, Maggie and Fiona about Sarah’s condition. She was stable but had multiple lacerations on her liver and spleen. They were able to fix that. Kayla was concerned about the soft tissue bruising and the inflammation. As long as there weren’t any complications, Kayla thought Sarah would be okay. Brady slumbered into the townhouse and saw Kristen there. Kristen thought he was doing the walk of shame, but he told her that he was working all night. Kristen rolled her eyes at him, and he left the room.

Jada wanted an officer to check all the bartenders in the area because there was a chance the driver was drunk. Kayla called Jada to give her the news about Sarah. Jada rushed to the hospital to question Sarah. Xander checked on Sarah to see if she needed anything. She only needed him. He promised to take her on the honeymoon of her dreams when she got better. Jada told Maggie that she hoped Sarah could identify the driver who hit her. Fiona shifted in her chair. Xander returned so Maggie went to check on Sarah. Jada told Xander that the city security cameras didn’t pick up the accident, but they were going to check with local businesses. He recapped what happened when he found Sarah. Xander realized the driver was there when he found Sarah. He wondered why the person would stay at the scene. Jada thought the person wanted to make sure help arrived. Xander didn’t think it made sense to flee the scene afterwards. Jada planned to talk to Sarah, but Fiona tried to stop her. Her plan didn’t work because Jada wanted to question Sarah. Brady called Fiona to find out what happened the night before. He remembered being at the bar and waking up in the driver’s seat of his car. Brady wanted to know how he got home. Fiona flashed back to putting Brady in the driver’s seat. She couldn’t risk Xander finding out that she was drinking and was the one driving the car. Fiona thought it was better that he takes the fall over her. She told him that she couldn’t talk anymore because Sarah was in an accident. Brady remembered hearing a crunching sound like metal from an accident. Sarah remembered that the car that hit her was gray. The lights were too bright to see the driver. Jada was determined to find the driver. She left Sarah’s room. Kayla walked in the room while Sarah felt a chill. Xander put a cover on Sarah, but she couldn’t feel her legs. He squeezed her legs, but she didn’t feel his hand. Sarah told him that she didn’t feel anything.

Marlena let John know that the doctor cleared him to go home. She also let him know that Jack and Chad found a woman in Poplar Bluff who could be Abby. John wondered if she would know how they ended up in the same room in Missouri. He wanted to talk to her about later because he wanted to get home. Chad opened up DNA test results. It turned out that the mystery woman was a 50% match. Kayla explained that meant she was Jack’s daughter. Chad added that she was Abby, and his wife. Jack was overwhelmed and hugged her. She recoiled when he touched her. They called her Abby, but she asked them not to do it. Sarah was laying in the street unconscious. Fiona tried to wake up Brady because she thought she hit someone. She ran back and saw Sarah’s body on the ground. Xander kept trying to reach out to Sarah because they were going to miss the last ferry to Smith Island. Leo ran into Xander at the town square. He was surprised to hear that he and Sarah got married. Leo was glad that Gwen didn’t ruin it. Xander told him that nothing spoiled the wedding. If Sarah arrived, their honeymoon wouldn’t be spoiled either. Leo walked away from Xander. Xander called Maggie to check on Sarah, but she didn’t see her.

Fiona ran to Sarah to check her pulse. She was thankful that Sarah was still alive. Fiona worried about what she would tell the police. She heard Xander call out to Sarah. Fiona ran off. Xander found Sarah on the ground as Fiona drove off. He called for an ambulance. Abby reminded Jack and Chad that she didn’t know them and didn’t feel like she belonged in Salem. Kayla informed her that she’s with her family. She let her know that she’s her aunt. Chad felt she would remember them in time. He wanted to take her to the Horton House, so she could see their kids. Chad showed her pictures of the kids. She didn’t recognize them and didn’t want to traumatize them. He didn’t care where they went as long as they were together. Chad suggested they go to the DiMera mansion, and she agreed. Marlena and John went to the pub. She asked him if he had closure from Katarina’s death. He was glad to see her, but he realized that he took an innocent life. Marlena promised them they would get through it together. Fiona parked Brady’s car at the townhouse. Brady was still passed out, and she said she didn’t have a choice but to leave Sarah there. She believed that Xander would get Sarah the help she needed. Kayla examined Sarah in a hospital room. Xander called Fiona because he needed her. Later, Fiona arrived at the hospital while Xander was on the phone with Maggie. He told her about the hit-and-run. Xander planned to make the driver pay for what they did to Sarah. John and Marlena arrived at the townhouse and noticed Brady’s car in her spot. Brady was slumped in the driver’s seat of the car.

Alex talked to Stephanie about what happened with Theresa. He hoped she didn’t get a deal because of being connected to the ISA. Alex didn’t think six months was enough for ruining his life. Stephanie wished she’d seen what Theresa was doing and prevented him from getting hurt. She was caught up in her own life. Jada showed Paulina the suicide note “Bobby” wrote. She was more suspicious every time she read it. Jada felt that she was too close to the case and couldn’t trust her gut. Paulina wondered if she put too much pressure on her by giving her the commissioner job. Jada wanted to be the one to get justice, but she thought she was looking for someone to blame. She felt like she was the person to blame for what happened to Bobby. Jada told her about confronting him about stabbing Rafe before she found the pills he took that killed him. Connie overheard Chanel and Johnny talking about the psycho who stabbed Rafe. She didn’t like hearing Chanel talking about her and wanted her to shut up. Johnny wondered who Connie was and why she was defending Everett. Connie said Everett had a mental illness and didn’t like the way Chanel was talking about him. Johnny felt the person who stabbed Rafe was disturbed. Connie agreed that Rafe didn’t deserve to get stabbed. She hoped Rafe got better for his sister’s sake. Connie told them she was Gabi’s assistant. She ranted about Gabi being betrayed enough. They wondered what she meant by that. Connie didn’t want to say anything implying that someone close to her betrayed her. Johnny thought she meant his father. Connie played along and left.

Ava brought Gabi the flowers that were left for her. Gabi read the card and saw that Stefan bought her the flowers. She thanked Ava for letting her spend her anniversary with Stefan. Gabi told her that Stefan told her about the times they kissed each other. Ava apologized, but Gabi knew they were keeping up with appearances. Gabi was glad to know the truth instead of thinking the worst. She wanted to move past it, so they could get along. Ava agreed to get along with her. Kristen found Stefan pacing. He told her that he felt too much guilt and wanted to tell Gabi the truth about having sex with Ava. Kristen didn’t think Gabi would take the news well. He went back and forth with her to practice his confession. Stefan decided to tell Gabi the truth. Alex told Stephanie that it wasn’t her job to save him. They decided to smash plates to get over their anger. Connie went to Titan and saw Ava and Gabi making up. Ava left the office. Connie wondered what she wanted, so Gabi told her they cleared the air. She wondered if Gabi was sure about that. Gabi got defensive when Connie told her that. She answered a call from Stefan. Connie watched Gabi tell Stefan about her conversation with Ava. Stefan told her that he loved her more than he ever imagined. After he got off the phone with Gabi, Kristen told him that he shouldn’t say anything to Gabi. He finally agreed not to tell her because it will break her heart. Gabi yelled at Connie for doubting Stefan. Connie told her that Stefan cheated on her.

Brady demanded to know why Tate was there. Sophia found Holly watching Brady and Tate. Holly pulled her away. Brady grilled Tate about being in Salem. He thought he was there to see Holly. Tate said he was there about his mother who went to prison. He wondered why he didn’t hear it from Brady. John arrived home and Marlena hugged him. His flight landed early, so he wanted to surprise her. Jack and Chad stayed in Missouri to get info about Abby. John faltered, so Marlena wanted to take him to the hospital. Jack checked out the bracelet that Chad found. Chad said Abby wore that bracelet the night she died. He didn’t have a logical reason for it to be there. It proved the woman was Abby. Jack reminded him that Leo stole Abby’s jewelry and fenced it to Clyde. Clyde could have held on to it to mess with them. A blonde woman listened to them talking in the hallway. As she backed away, they rushed out. Chad grabbed her arm. Marlena wanted to know who attacked John in Greece. She wanted to know how he ended up in Missouri. He didn’t know since he only wanted to hurt was Konstantin, and he was already dead. Marlena wondered if it was someone from Poplar Bluff. He thought what happened to him could be tied to Jack and Chad’s search for Abby.

Holly dragged Sophia to the pub, and they started arguing. Sophia wondered where her money was to keep her mouth shut about her sneaking around with Tate. Holy just deposited her check, so she should get it soon. She offered Sophia cash, and Sophia realized that Holly really liked Tate. Sophia wondered if they had sex yet. Holly insisted they haven’t had it yet. Brady admitted to Tate that he’s been messed up. He didn’t like that Theresa was messed up, and Tate had to deal with it. Brady was dealing with anxiety because of Rachel being around Kristen. He wondered how he could get involved with two women who were messed up. Brady informed Tate that he might not be there for him because he’s struggling with everything. Tate offered to come back from camp so they could get through it together. Brady didn’t think it was a good idea. They start arguing about Tate going back to camp when Paul and Andrew walked up to them. Andrew told them that EJ agreed to the deal he made for Theresa. He told them that she was sentenced to six months, and she would be transferred to Statesville. Andrew told Tate that he could see his mother before she leaves. Tate left with Andrew. Paul told Brady that he got a call from Marlena telling him that John was in the hospital. Jack and Chad forced the mystery woman in the room. They thought she was the woman in the video. She didn’t know what they were talking about but wanted her bracelet back. Chad asked her where she got it. She didn’t remember. The mystery woman told them she was in a bad accident years ago. When she woke up, she had flashes of memories but nothing concrete. She said she had plastic surgery and didn’t know what her original face looked like. The mystery woman was living someone else’s life. She didn’t know the woman she sees in the mirror. Chad said they might be able to help her with that. Jack and Chad told her that she might be Abby. Her accident matched up with when they lost Abby. She said when she woke up a man told her about her accident. Chad asked her if his name was Clyde. She confirmed and identified him from the picture. The woman said Clyde warned her that people would be coming to look for her. He brought her there to hide her and then he disappeared. A woman named Goldman took care of her, but she disappeared too. She wondered what happened to Clyde. They told her that Clyde was in solitary confinement. There was another way to find out who she was. They wanted her to come home with them. She thought they could be the people Clyde warned her about. Jack swore to her that they didn’t want to harm her. Chad told her that they wanted to help her figure out who she was. She agreed to go with him. The woman warned him that he was a dead man if he touched her.

Brady couldn’t believe he was with Xander’s mother. Fiona wondered what was wrong with it. He told her that he’s a creep who shot him and his stepmother. Xander put his nameplate on the desk at Titan. Sarah wondered what made him change his mind. He told her that he wasn’t over what his mother did, but he knew it was time to move forward. She was happy about that because she could be at their wedding. Xander agreed to let her come to the wedding. Kate questioned Abe’s decision to hire Hattie for Body and Soul. He had faith that Hattie would figure things out. Abe wanted Kate to reconsider playing the part of Lorna. She didn’t want to do it. Kate wanted him to find someone else for the part. She said they had to find someone else. Leo walked in and offered his services. He was dressed as Lorna. They informed him that it was a female role. He reminded them of the other men who played women before. Kate reminded him that Leo tried to take down Titan. She thought they should let him audition before he them for gender discrimination. Holly tried to reach out to Tate but didn’t get an answer. Maggie walked in the room and saw her on the phone. Holly lied about talking to Sophia, but Maggie didn’t believe her. She thought she should keep her distance from Tate. Maggie thought their parents might change their minds about them seeing each other. She agreed to keep quiet about it for now, but she didn’t want Holly to lie to her. After Maggie left the room, Holly called Tate again. Fiona apologized to Brady for the way Xander treated him. She blamed herself for not being there for him when she needed him. Brady understood and thought that Xander was trying to turn his life around. Xander called Fiona to invite her to the wedding. Brady called out to her, and she stopped him from talking Xander heard a man in the background and told her to bring him to the wedding. She thought it was too soon in the relationship, but she agreed to go. After Fiona got off the phone, she told Brady about Xander’s wedding.

Leo auditioned for Body and Soul. He told Abe and Kate that he rewrote the lines because he thought it was pedestrian. They rolled their eyes at him. Kate thought his performance was terrible. Leo blamed the script for his performance. Abe said they needed a new head writer. Kate hoped Will could help them. Leo thought he was expensive, and Abe agreed with him. He offered to do it. Kate gave him a test to see if he could write the script. He accepted her challenge and left the room. Kate wondered what they got themselves into. Xander arrived home and found Maggie setting out flowers. Maggie thought Victor would be proud to see him taking his place at Titan. Fiona showed up. She thought his apartment was quaint but thought he would be moving back to the mansion. Sarah came out of the bathroom wearing her wedding dress. He said he didn’t need a mansion because he had his beautiful bride. Holly and Tate walked hand and hand through the square. She bought the tickets to go to Smith Island. Tate bumped into Brady. Xander changed into his kilt, and they exchanged vows in their living room. Sarah and Xander were finally married.

Steve returned to Salem and surprised Kayla with a yellow rose. He told her that he couldn’t find John. Steve said there were fresh flowers at Katarina’s grave with a note from John. The note explained John’s guilt over what happened to her. Steve didn’t know where John was, but the note had blood on it. He said he had the ISA match the blood, and it belonged to John. Steve thought it might be foul play, but he didn’t tell Marlena about it yet. Paul and Marlena talked about John at the pub. She told him that Steve went to Greece to go looked out for John. Marlena hadn’t spoken to John in a while. She was worried about Brady too because he wasn’t replying to her calls. Paul tried to reassure her by telling her that Brady went to a meeting during Theresa’s wedding. She was relieved, but she wished he would have reached out to her. Marlena asked if he noticed questionable behavior. He thought about seeing Brady getting a drink at the townhouse. Paul didn’t think he was drinking. He left to make sure Brady was okay. Brady and Fiona were together in her hotel room. They were carrying on about drinking Fiona told him that she had to pretend to be sober to get back in Xander’s good graces. Xander told Sarah that Theresa plead guilty to kidnapping Victoria. Andrew was working on a deal for her, but Xander was sure Theresa would go to prison. Sarah thought they could focus on their wedding do over. She wanted to do it before his mother went home. Xander didn’t want to be bothered with Fiona. She encouraged him to go to the Salem Inn to talk to her.

After arriving in Poplar Bluff, Jack and Chad to find the billboard from the video. They didn’t see any buildings that looked like the one in the video. Chad saw another billboard they could check. Fiona wanted Brady to stay with her, but he didn’t think it was a good idea. He asked her if anything happened between them. Fiona assured him that they only slept in the same bed. Xander knocked on her door, so they had to struggle to get him out of the room. Once Brady hid, Fiona opened the door to let Xander in her room. Xander let her know that he wasn’t sure he believed her story about the breakdown and being in the mental hospital. He felt like it was a convenient reason to abandon him. Fiona admitted she didn’t handle things the right way when it concerned him. She assured him that she cleaned up her act. Fiona begged him to forgive her for what she’s done. He thought about it but something caught his eye. Xander wanted to know what it was. Brady was outside the Salem Inn when Paul arrived. Paul questioned his appearance. He told Brady about his and Marlena’s concerns about him. Brady assured him that he was fine. He walked away from Paul. Paul called Marlena to tell her about Brady. Marlena went to Kayla’s office and found Steve there. He let her know that he needed to talk to her. Jack thought the building matched the video. Chad checked the door, but it was locked. The windows were open. Chad knocked and called out. Jack and Chad heard a noise. Chad kicked the door open and reacted to something.

Jada and Bobby were standing over Bobby’s body. His eyes were closed, and his pulse was weak. Jada found a pill bottle and asked him how many he took. He said he didn’t take them. She pleads with Bobby, and he told her that he’s Everett. Connie was relieved that she took care of Bobby. Now she wants to focus on making Stefan and Gabi pay for what they did to Li. She couldn’t wait for Gabi to find out that he slept with Ava. Connie jumped when Ava showed up. She tried to suck up to Ava, but she just stared at her. Connie headed out when she found out that Gabi was spending the day with Stefan. Jack told Chad the video was enhanced by 70%. They pulled up clearer footage of a woman in an empty room, but they still couldn’t see her face. Jack and Chad scanned the video for clues. Chad noticed something in the video. Jada called for help at the Salem Inn while Stephanie sat with Bobby. He whispered that he tried hard to get back to her. Everett was sorry that he didn’t make it. Stephanie urged him to keep fighting. Everett told her that he felt dizzy. He told her that he loved her and never stopped. Everett closed his eyes, and his head lolled. Jada checked his pulse and apologized to Stephanie. She told her that they got there too late. They wondered what he meant when he said he didn’t take the pills. Also, they wondered what made Everett come back. Jada wanted to start from the beginning and put on latex gloves. She saw a note on his laptop. Jada believed it was a suicide note. She read the note Connie wrote. The note made it seem like Bobby stabbed Rafe. Stephanie held Everett’s head in her arms. Jada continued to read the note and saw that Bobby didn’t have a reason to live if he didn’t have her. The note proved that Bobby was guilty and wanted to help Jada get a promotion. Jada ran to the cabinet and found the bloody gloves Connie put in there.

Stefan admitted to Gabi that he kissed Ava to keep up their cover but that was it. Connie walked in the Bistro, and Gabi introduced her to Stefan. She was distracted because she looked around the restaurant. Stefan tried to get her attention, and she gave Gabi papers to sign. Gabi wanted to make him forget about kissing Ava. Stefan wanted to know if they were good. Since he kissed her twice, Gabi thought they were okay. Chad noticed a billboard in the video. He and Jack realized it was a Missouri area code that covered Poplar Bluff. It’s the home of Clyde, so they headed out. Jada collected the evidence as the attendants bagged Everett’s body. Stephanie and Jada finished reading the “note.” He regretted any harm he caused anyone. The note stated that he hoped he and Everett could be at peace. After Bobby’s body was taken, Jada noticed his phone on the floor. She saw that he tried to call the police but didn’t hit send. Jada wondered why he would call the police if he tried to kill himself. Connie planned to keep Stefan’s affair quiet until she found the perfect time to reveal it. She saw the attendants taking Bobby’s body away.

Ava and Gabi talked about Gabi Chic. Gabi noticed that she seemed anxious. Ava asked her about Rafe, and Gabi told her that there was no change. Stefan called Gabi and told her that he needed her at the Bistro. Gabi left, and Ava realized that she didn’t feel well. At the station, Bobby told Jada that he wasn’t a murderer. He did admit that he’s Bobby. Bobby assured her that he didn’t stab Li or Rafe. He started feeling lightheaded and sick. Jada refused to buy what he was saying. He said he had to leave and moved around unsteadily. Stephanie arrived and told Jada that Leo suspected that Everett was still Bobby. Jada told her about Bobby’s admission. He insisted that he wasn’t the murderer, but he knew who the killer was. Stephanie was headed to Everett’s place. Connie was at Bobby’s house framing him for her crimes. Leo knocked on Bobby’s door looking for him. Connie froze, but she knocked something over. Leo heard the crash, but he decided to walk away. She planted the gloves, left a note on his computer and put pills on his nightstand. She walked out and dropped a key card. Bobby showed up and was relieved to find his key card on the floor. He had trouble standing and wondered what was wrong with him. Bobby made his way into his room and spotted a pill bottle on the table. He tried to read it, but he gave up. Bobby thought about Connie bringing him coffee and realized she drugged him. He tried to call for help but couldn’t get his phone to work. Chad congratulated Jack for getting his half of the paper back. He wasn’t there to work because he wanted to learn more about Abby. The video cleanup was going slowly and might be a dead end. Chad thought they had nothing if it was a dead end. Before Jack left, Chad offered to give him the other half of the paper. Jack refused to take his half of it. It was meant for Abby. He thought that it would be for Thomas and Charlotte one day. Leo arrived at the paper to talk about his column. He told him about Everett blowing him off, and Chad told him to let him take care of himself. They talked about Jack coming back to the paper. Leo wondered if Gwen was coming back too. They talked about what happened with Dimitri and Gwen.

Kristen arrived at the DiMera office and asked Ava where Gabi was. Ava told her that Stefan wanted Gabi to meet with him. She thought that he might be telling Gabi the truth. Kristen didn’t want her to worry. She warned her not to talk about it in a public place. Connie showed up and let Kristen know that she’s Gabi’s new assistant. Connie had coffee, and Kristen drank it. She noticed that it tasted horrible. Connie flashed back to drugging Bobby’s coffee. She said she didn’t put anything in that one. Stefan wanted to surprise Gabi to celebrate their anniversary. Jada and Stephanie went to Bobby’s room and found him unconscious. His pulse was weak. Jada saw the pills and wondered how many he took. Bobby told her that he didn’t take any pills. Connie celebrated being free of Bobby. Her next plan was to make Stefan and Gabi pay for what they did to Li. Connie thought about overhearing Ava talking to Kristen about her affair with Stefan.

Holly refused to go to Paris with Nicole. Nicole informed her that if they stayed in town, EJ would make her life with Eric miserable. Holly supported them going, but she didn’t want to leave Salem. Nicole thought it was because of Tate. Eric ran into Justin at the pub. He let him know that he heard about the wedding. Justin realized they both been through a lot. Eric talked to him about EJ, and his divorce from Sloan. He offered to help Eric with the paperwork. Eric wished Nicole’s divorce was that easy. Theresa arrived at the Kiriakis mansion to approach Alex and Brady. She wanted to take responsibility for what she did. Alex yelled at her for destroying his life. He wondered what explanation she could have for ruining his life. Theresa thought she was doing him a favor. She never wanted him to get hurt. Theresa said she loved him. Alex told her that she didn’t know anything about love. He thought she was a con artist who just wanted his money. Alex never wanted to see her again. He decided to get an annulment. It would be like their marriage never happened, and he wished that could happen with their relationship. Theresa started crying when he walked out the room. Brady thought that went well. Xander told Maggie that Theresa was the one who kidnapped Victoria. He was upset that Victor only acknowledged him when he died. Maggie knew he was hurt, but she thought Victor would have told him at some point. Xander reminded her that Victor still treated him like dirt. He couldn’t believe he would do that to his son.

Fiona felt like Xander needed to get used to his new reality before he got married. Sarah informed her that they were in love for years. She told her that she and Victoria give him the stability he needs. Fiona was looking out for her son even though she doesn’t have the right. Sarah wondered why she abandoned him. She told Sarah something offscreen that shocked her. Fiona didn’t think he would want to hear it from her. She thought he could take it better if Sarah told him. Maggie thought Victor was hard on Xander because he reminded him of himself. All Xander wanted was for Victor to be proud of him. Maggie told him that Victor loved him and that was why he gave him half his fortune. Xander thought he did it out of guilt. Maggie was about to leave the apartment when Sarah arrived home. Sarah told Xander that she invited Fiona to their future wedding. He asked her why he would want her there. Sarah told him that Fiona had a nervous breakdown and was admitted into an institution. She worked hard to get sober. Sarah continued to tell Xander about Fiona’s story. He didn’t believe a word Fiona said. Sarah said she believed her. Alex ran into Justin. He knew he acted pompous when he thought he was Victor’s son. Alex felt bad that he forgot about the decent man who raised him. He hoped Justin could forgive him. Justin hoped Alex could forgive him too. Justin wanted to rebuild their relationship. They forgave each other. Holly told Nicole that Tate was at lacrosse camp, and she wouldn’t see him. Nicole wondered where she would go. Maggie approached them and offered to let Holly stay with her. Holly remembered that Theresa lived at the mansion and hated her. Nicole pleaded with her, and she told her she would go during her break. Eric stormed into the DiMera mansion and demanded EJ sign the divorce papers. He went off because EJ stole Jude from him. EJ blamed Sloan for what happened. He ripped up the papers. EJ knew it wouldn’t stop the divorce, but it would make his life with Nicole miserable. Eric called him a piece of garbage. EJ said he could hurt him in many ways. He asked him if Holly knew he killed her father. Sarah found Alex looking at Victor’s portrait. She wondered what the worst part of everything was for him. He felt stupid because of the way he treated Justin. His life was turned upside down because of it. She told him that Xander felt the same way. Xander found Theresa at the airport. He demanded to know why she changed the letter from his mother. Xander wondered if she hated him that much. She hated him more than he thought. She was about to get on the flight when he warned her that she wouldn’t get away with what she did. He told her that Konstantin was dead, so she was the only one to take the fall. Xander realized that she was Konstantin’s accomplice and kidnapped Victoria. Theresa tried to deny, but he didn’t believe her.

Brady woke up at the Salem Inn and saw Fiona wearing a lingerie and robe. She thought they had an interesting night. Fiona gave him aspirin and water. They thought about their night together. He wanted to know if they slept together. She told him they slept in the bed together. Fiona let him know that her last name was Cook. He hoped she wasn’t related to Xander. She told him that he was her son. Brady thought she wasn’t in the picture. Fiona explained how she went to the wedding and announced that Victor was Xander’s father. Brady realized that Theresa forged the letter about Alex. He asked her not to let anyone know that he was drinking since he was supposed to be sober. She threatened to scream for security until he released her arm. He warned her that he was dangerous before, but it will be worse now that he has more resources. She couldn’t hide from him forever. He walked away from her and left her gasping. Eric wondered if EJ would really hurt Holly. EJ said he wouldn’t hurt Holly, but he would hurt him. He thought Holly deserved to know the truth. Eric believed Holly would blame Nicole for what happened. EJ didn’t see how that was his problem. He agreed not to tell her that he was a drunken murderer. EJ planned on keeping Nicole in court for years. He planned to make Eric confess that Nicole cheated with him. EJ reminded him that he was still married to Sloan. He laughed as he admitted that he forgot to file the divorce papers. Eric wanted him to enjoy a pathetic and lonely life. Later, Eric went to The Spectator and told her about his conversation with EJ. He suggested that they run off to Paris together with Holly and Jude. Xander went to see EJ and wanted him to charge Theresa with kidnapping. EJ agreed to issue a warrant immediately.

She said he didn’t remember anything about the murder. Jada thought he could be pretending to be Everett to cover up the truth about it. Everett apologized to Kayla for his attitude. He told her that he was stressing out about things, so Stephanie’s feelings were his top priority. Everett left for his appointment while Kayla watched him walk away. Paulina talked to Abe about Everett harassing her for a quote about Rafe’s attack. She wanted to focus on appointing a temporary police commissioner. Paulina wanted to give the job to Jada, but she was going to focus on Rafe’s attack. She wanted to deal with it after her appointment with Kayla. Connie reached for Rafe’s ventilator when Gabi walked int he room. She hid her gloves and told her that she felt bad for Rafe. Connie wanted to see if she could help. Gabi wanted to know why she was really there. Connie said she wanted to give her a copy of her resume so she could work for her. Gabi thought that was creepy of her to do that. She didn’t have time for a stalker and ordered her to leave Rafe’s room. Connie told her that she couldn’t do that. Bobby went to Marlena’s office, and it was empty. He thought about how hard it was to be Everett. Marlena arrived, and he wanted to cut their appointment short. He thought it would be better for him to get his life in order. She knew Stephanie and his job were important to him. He told her that he broke up with Stephanie.

Paulina got her checkup and Kayla told her that she was doing great. Kayla was only concerned about her cholesterol level. Paulina didn’t want to take more medication and asked Kayla not to tell Abe about that. She thought Abe would be proud of her. Paulina admitted that he was more focused on the soap opera lately. Connie agreed to work with Gabi for free to help her get through everything. Gabi didn’t want to focus on that right now. Connie offered to get her coffee. Everett told Marlena that it didn’t seem fair for him to make Stephanie wait around for him. He said he was feeling some of Bobby’s feelings. Marlena thought he was making progress. Everett said he was ready to be hypnotized again. Marlena agreed to do it. Everett cried thinking about his father hitting him and begging him to stop. Jada got a call from the station. She yelled at the person and told them not to talk to Everett about Rafe’s stabbing. Stephanie thought Everett stabbed Rafe to have a clear path to Jada. Jada said the timing of his release checked out. Stephanie remembered seeing Everett at his hotel that day. He came out of the shower. She wondered if he was washing off evidence. Connie planned to get rid of Gabi after she killed Rafe. She spit in the coffee that she got for Gabi. Gabi was blown away by her resume. She could use someone like Connie and agreed to work with her.

He regretted what he did because he lost the only friend he ever had. Xander told him that he would have Justin draw up the paperwork. Jack planned to look out for it. He wished Sarah his best. Jack wondered what she saw in him. Maggie went to Sarah’s apartment as Sarah and Bonnie wondered what happened to Xander’s mother’s invitation. Theresa panicked and looked away. Sarah and Bonnie eliminated the suspects until they got to her. Theresa admitted that she was afraid that Xander’s mother would ruin the wedding. Bonnie admitted that she mailed the invitation. Sarah realized she didn’t RSVP. Maggie and Bonnie help Sarah get dressed. Theresa hoped that she wouldn’t show up. Alex let Justin know that he wasn’t his father anymore, and he needed to accept that. He backtracked on what he said and realized he didn’t mean to say it like that. Alex felt like it was time for Justin to let go of his anger at Victor. Justin couldn’t get over the fact that the man he thought of as a second father pitted them against each other from the grave. Alex let Justin know that if he has a problem with Victor, he didn’t have to officiate the wedding anymore. Justin angrily agreed when Sonny arrived. Alex wanted to leave so Justin could catch up with his real son.

Sonny assured him that he would always be his son. He hugged Justin. Alex came back and apologized for what he said earlier. He wanted him to officiate his wedding again. Justin was honored to do it. Roman talked to Kimberly about not being able to make the wedding. Andrew showed up at the pub as the representative for the family. He touched base with Roman. Andrew thought about confronting Theresa about helping Konstantin kidnap Victoria. He told him that Theresa didn’t know he was there. Brady was about to pour himself a cup of vodka when Paul showed up. He didn’t realize that Paul was going to be there. Paul reminded him that his boyfriend’s sister was getting married. He wondered if Brady fell off the wagon. Brady admitted that he was thinking about it. After they talked about Theresa, Brady slid the drink away. He said it was a weak moment. Brady tried to talk Theresa out of bringing Tate home for the wedding. She blamed Holly for why Tate had to leave in the first place. Theresa was glad that he was away from Holly. Brady thought she and Holly were similar. Theresa wanted him to be nice to her on her wedding day. She realized it wasn’t her first wedding, but it’s her first proper ceremony. Brady thought their Vegas wedding was cooler. Theresa admitted taking advantage of the situation. She realized they were happy briefly. Brady thought it was a shame it didn’t last. Sophia interrupted Holly and Tate kissing at the Horton cabin. She threatened to call their parents. Sophia admitted that she almost told Theresa what they did, but she didn’t want to ruin her wedding day. She planned to tell her after the wedding. Alex thought Justin was planning a repeat of Maggie and Konstantin’s wedding. Justin got offended and said he didn’t have an ulterior motive. He wanted to be part of his special day unless he didn’t want him to be. Alex softened and apologized for accusing him. He wanted to ask Theresa first. Alex sincerely thanked Justin as he prepared to leave.

Theresa blamed herself for why she and Brady didn’t work. She hoped things would be different with Alex. Brady was rooting for them to work. He wanted her to be happy and she wanted the same for him. Holly begged Sophia not to tell her and Tate’s parents about them being together. Sophia was happy to tell them what she knew after they betrayed her during the prom. Holly agreed to do anything. Sophia agreed to keep quiet if she took the job her parents made her get and give her all the money. After Sophia left, Tate offered to go to lacrosse camp, so she didn’t have to work. Holly would rather him be there so they could spend time together. Alex told Justin that he could officiate the wedding. He looked at Victor’s portrait and said it’s what his father would have wanted. Justin didn’t care what Victor wanted. Alex didn’t realize that Justin was still upset about it. Justin wondered how he couldn’t be upset. He said Victor robbed him of his son. Alex told him that he was never his son to begin with. He defended Victor to Justin. Justin wanted to know why, and Alex said because he was his father. Justin reminded him that he was his father too. Brady returns to the townhouse and wonders how he would get through the wedding. He went to the liquor cabinet and pulled out a bottle of vodka.

Johnny found his father drinking at the DiMera mansion. EJ told him that Nicole wanted to divorce him. Johnny wasn’t surprised after what he did. EJ thought Johnny was mad at him too. Johnny felt bad for Nicole and Eric. He was excited about having a new brother but that wasn’t going to happen now. Nicole went to Eric’s room at the pub and let him know that she and EJ were done. Brady went to the Kiriakis mansion to look for Maggie but ran into Alex. He let Brady know that she was running last-minute errands. Brady thought he meant for Xander and Sarah’s wedding, but Alex told him that he and Theresa were getting married too. He was surprised by Alex’s news. Alex told him that Maggie thought it would bring the family together. He would understand if Brady didn’t want to go to the ceremony. Brady thought it was a good idea since he assumed Theresa was only after his money. He knew that wasn’t the truth, so Brady wondered if there was another reason why Alex didn’t want him at the ceremony. Brady flashed back to his night with Theresa and said he would go to the wedding. Alex was okay with it, but Brady seemed troubled.

Sophia ran into Theresa at the town square to talk about Tate and Holly. Theresa apologized to her after the way Tate talked to her. Sophia blamed Holly because she was her best friend. Theresa assured her that Tate and Holly would be far away from each other since he would be at lacrosse camp in New York. Sophia thought about overhearing Tate and Holly’s conversation about deceiving their parents. She told Theresa there was something she needed to know. Chanel interrupted them to talk about the wedding cake. After hearing about the wedding, Sophia decided not to tell her about Tate and Holly. Johnny let EJ know there was no justification for what he did to Nicole and Eric. He was disappointed, but he still had his back. EJ apologized for not being as supportive as he and Chanel needed him to be. He knew they wanted to move out, but he hoped they would stay at the mansion. Johnny agreed to stay longer. Eric wanted to know if she knew, and she admitted that she did. Theresa arrived at the Kiriakis mansion. She was surprised when she found out that Brady considered not going to her wedding. Theresa let him know she wanted him there. Alex hoped they could all be a family after the wedding. Theresa did too. When Alex walked away to take a phone call, Brady wanted to know why Theresa didn’t say she was getting married so soon. She admitted that she should have told him about it. Brady assured her that he’s happy for them. Theresa apologized for things not working out with them. He would always be special to her because he’s Tate’s father. She realized that she couldn’t get married without her son. Theresa wanted Tate at the wedding. Nicole admitted to Eric that she would have left EJ if she knew Jude was theirs and that he still loved her. Eric would have done the same thing with Sloan. They were about to kiss when there was a knock at the door. Eric opened the door, and EJ was there. He knew he would find Nicole there. She snatched the divorce papers and saw that he didn’t sign them. EJ said he didn’t plan to sign them. He assured her that he refused to let them take Jude and run off into the sunset together.

Kayla hoped that seeing her body would put an end to the speculation that Abby was alive. Julie told her that Jack was upset about the exhumation but agreed to it after seeing Clyde’s video. Kayla declared her dead, but she saw enough miracles to think it was possible for Abby to be alive. Jack and Chad prepared to see Abby’s casket. The crew members opened it, and it was empty. Jack thought they opened the wrong coffin, but Chad insisted it was Abby’s. At the townhouse, Jada asked Marlena if she thought Bobby told the truth about Li’s murder. She wasn’t sure if he was trying to find a way to get back together with her. Marlena wasn’t sure either way. She hoped that Jada could get justice for Li. Connie visited Bobby at the hospital. He flashed back to seeing her in the park after stabbing Li. He wondered if they knew each other. She told him that she overheard Jada tell Rafe that her ex-husband had info about Li’s murder. Connie felt it was important for Li to get justice, so she wanted to know what info he had. Bobby said he couldn’t help her because the info was between him and Jada. Connie wondered if the information was about her.

Rafe went to the cemetery and was surprised to see Abby’s coffin empty. He vowed to make the person who desecrated her coffin pay for what they did. Chad and Jack told him what happened. Connie remembered someone being behind her at the park, but she didn’t see the person’s face. After listening to the police, she realized Bobby was behind her. She hoped Bobby wasn’t lying about what he said. Bobby told Connie that Jada would come around. Connie told him that he’s just a job to her. She made him an offer. They also realized that she could be doing it for the right reasons. Bonnie left to meet with Sarah. Theresa brought up the prenup with Alex. He thought it was a great way to quiet the naysayers. She thought it was a little insulting. Alex wondered if she had second thoughts about signing the prenup. Maggie walked in the room with the prenup. Theresa told him that she was sure about signing it. Chad called Kayla and let her know that Paulina was allowing him to exhume Abby’s body. He thought there might be a snag since he didn’t hear anything else about it. Jack stormed in the room. Chad let Kayla know that he found the snag in the plan and hung up the phone. Jack heard what he was doing from a friend in the city. He demanded answers from Chad. Chad blurted out that Abby could be alive. Jack refused to believe that Abby was alive. Chad showed him the video Clyde gave him of an obscured blonde woman. Theresa noticed that the prenup stated that she would get nothing if she committed adultery. She wondered if Alex was concerned about him cheating on him. He wasn’t worried about it. She wondered what would happen if he cheated. Alex assured her that she wouldn’t have to worry about that. He thought neither of them would have to worry about that. They kissed and then she signed the papers.

Justin thought about holding Alex as a baby when Xander walked in the pub. They talked about Xander turning down Victor’s money. Xander knew Victor didn’t want him to have it or he would have given it to him. He knew that Justin was hurt the most by Victor’s will. Justin thought about the DNA test results from the past that proved he was Alex’s father, he couldn’t believe that Victor kept that secret from him all those years. Xander wondered if he thought Alex was his son. Justin thought Victor wouldn’t have left Alex half his estate if he wasn’t sure he was his son. He was disappointed that Victor lied to him for years. Justin had a lot of questions about what happened. Since Victor and Anjelica are dead, he wouldn’t be able to get his answers. Jack tried to hold back tears as he watched the video. Paulina called Chad to tell him that the crew was ready to go. It was too late for Jack to get an injunction, but Chad wouldn’t do it if he didn’t approve. He told Jack that he needed to have Abby’s body exhumed. Later, Chad and Jack went to the cemetery. Jack thought what they were doing was ghastly. One of the crew members told them that they were ready to begin.

She said he was real to her. He apologized for what he said. Jada told him that Bobby had information about a murder. Rafe thought Bobby was manipulating her, but she wanted to hear what he had to say. He thought Bobby could get violent and wanted her to stay away from him. Melinda met with Kristen at the square she ran into Connie. She remembered that Connie had an issue with her. Connie admitted that she was upset that Li was attracted to her. Kristen wasn’t sure why EJ wanted her to hire her. She wondered why Melinda wanted to work for DiMera Enterprises. Melinda could try to put her disdain for her aside and work with her, but Kristen didn’t think she could do it. EJ told Stefan that he wanted Gabi to announce at the press conference how he played a big role in her release. Stefan laughed and reminded him that he helped her because he blackmailed him. Gabi walked in while they were talking. EJ expected them both at his press conference. Stefan assured him they would be there. After EJ left, Gabi wanted the truth about her release from prison. She overheard him talking about EJ being blackmailed and wanted to know about it. Stefan told her that EJ wasn’t Jude’s father. Eric went to The Spectator to tell her that he got a job in Paris. He said he was leaving that day. She told him that she would miss him. He said he would miss her too. Eric thought it might be for the best since EJ didn’t want them to work together. Nicole let him know that EJ saw them kissing. Eric would react the same way EJ did. They hugged each other.

Jada assured Rafe that Bobby wouldn’t hurt her, but he thought it was a risk. She reminded him that it’s her job. Jada wondered if he would feel that way about a male cop. He reminded her that he’s not dating them. Rafe wanted to go with her. Jada told him that he wouldn’t talk if she didn’t go alone. She wanted to go alone. Rafe hated the idea, but he agreed to it. Kristen didn’t want to keep looking over her shoulder every time Melinda was around. Melinda assured her that wouldn’t happen. EJ arrived and joined them at the table. He offered his DiMera shares to make sure he hired Melinda. Kristen was skeptical, but she agreed to it. After Kirsten left, EJ reminded Melinda to keep her mouth shut about Jude’s paternity. Melinda swore Nicole wouldn’t hear the truth from her. Nicole wanted to know what they were talking about. EJ wanted to tell her that Kristen hired Melinda. After Melinda left, Nicole told EJ that Eric took a job in Paris. EJ thought that was for the best. Gabi wanted to tell Eric the truth. She hated being separated from Arianna. It would put space between Tate and Holly. Tate called Holly to see if she still wanted to run away with him. She didn’t know how they would pull off running away together. He had a plan for them to get away. After she got off the phone with Tate, Holly saw Rachel staring at her. Rachel wanted to know what she was plotting with her brother. Holly told her they wanted to be together and asked her not to tell anyone. Rachel didn’t want to lie so she pulled out the phone to call Nicole, but Holly took it from her. Maggie went to see Xander. She offered him a check for his share of Victor’s estate. Maggie felt he deserved it because of the way he stepped up for the family. He appreciated the gesture, but he couldn’t accept it. Justin warned Alex to be careful when it concerned Theresa. Alex didn’t need his cousinly advice. He wanted to do what his father did and follow his gut. Justin reminded him that Victor didn’t like Theresa. Alex reminded him that Victor gave him half of his estate which meant that he trusted his instincts. Justin ordered him to make Thersa sign a prenup. Alex got defensive, but Justin wanted him to protect himself. He asked if he thought about it before. Alex flashed back to his conversation with Brady about Theresa going after him for his money. He assured Justin that he would be okay. Theresa walked in and wondered if they were talking about a prenup.

Tate looked at the lacrosse brochure when Aaron arrived at the pub. He wanted to go to a camp like that. Tate thought it was perfect because he could go in his place. No one knew what Tate looked like so he could go in his place. Tate thought colleges would come after him after going to the camp. Aaron liked the idea and accepted his offer. Holly bribed Rachel with perfume to keep her from talking about her and Tate. Brady showed up and wondered what they were talking about. He told Holly about Tate going to lacrosse camp. She pretended to be upset but said she understood. He thought they could talk about their relationship again in the fall. If they could prove themselves trustworthy, they could date in their senior year. Justin told Theresa about the prenup. Theresa told him that she loved Alex before she found out he was Victor’s son. Alex thought about Brady’s theory about Theresa. Theresa asked Alex if he trusted her. He said he did. She offered to sign the prenup to prove that she loves him. Justin asked if she wanted him to draw up the prenup. She told him to do it.
