The entire episode is about the search for Mariah and Dominic.

Abby, Devon, Detective Burrow, and Sharon are on the Winters jet on the way to Oklahoma where Mariah and Dominic were last spotted at a convenience store. Detective Burrow gets word from the police that Mariah and Dominic were seen at a diner in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Abby, Devon, and Sharon decide it is best to fly to Albuquerque and have unmarked cars follow Mariah who is driving along route 66 since she plans to take Dominic to Mexico. Devon says once the plane lands they will just meet the police cars along the route Mariah is driving. Detective Burrow talks to the police on the phone to make arrangements with them .

Dominic gets upset with Mariah and tells her that he is tired of playing the hide and seek game and wants to go home to his mommy and Daddy. Mariah gets upset with Dominic and he tells her that she didn’t used to be so mean and he wants to go home. Mariah tries her best to get Dominic to play the hide and seek game but Dominic won’t even look at her.

Sharon is the one who sees Mariah’s car on the road and Dominic is reunited with Abby and Devon. Dominic wonders why the police took Mariah. Devon tells Dominic Mariah is sick and the police took her to the hospital.

Sharon calls Tessa to tell her that Mariah and Dominic are safe. Tessa tells Daniel the good news and says that she cares about Mariah, but she is in love with him and she needs to let go of Mariah.

Detective Burrow is driving Mariah back to Genoa City and he tells Mariah that when they return to Genoa City she will be arrested for kidnapping Dominic.

Detective Burrow tells Abby, Devon, and Sharon that Mariah and Dominic is in Oklahoma so they all decide to go there to see if they can find out more information about where Mariah is going with Dominic. Mariah tells Dominic that she is taking him to another country and they will be there in two days.

Phyllis is upset with Cane because he is going to give Victor Newman Enterprises back to Victor and also destroy the AI program in order to get back his family. Phyllis decides to team up with Billy and promises Billy she will give him Chancellor Industries and give Newman Media to Sally in exchange for his help with her plan. Phyllis asks Billy to go tell Victor that Cane is using the AI program to destroy the rest of Newman Enterprises before he returns it to him.

Phyllis tells Cane she understands the he must rescue his family. Phyllis then starts to have sex with Cane but then she gives him a shot to make him go to sleep. Billy arrives and Phyllis tells him it will only take a few minutes to get on the computer to transfer ownership of Newman Enterprises over to herself. Phyllis assures Billy that she won’t double-cross him and the only people who will suffer are Cane and Victor.

Noah gets a Dear Noah letter from Sienna, and she tells him not to follow her and stay in Genoa City where he is happy. Noah ignores Sienna’s wishes and follows her to Los Angeles.

Cane asks Holden to find Lily, Mattie, and Charlie, and he promises Holden he will have a good job at one of his companies. Holden asks Claire to go to Los Angeles with him and she accepts his invitation because she wants to find out more about the art dealer who disappeared after a run-in with Audra and Holden.

Cane is worried about Lily, Mattie, and Charlie, and he tells Adam that maybe he will take a member of the Newman family.

Adam later tells Victor, Nikki, and Victoria about his conversation with Cane. Nikki fears that Cane is so desperate that he is dangerous. Victor assures Nikki that Lily knows about the plan and is on board with the plan. Victor tells Nikki that Lily, Mattie, and Charlie are safe and Cane will give Newman Enterprises back to them.

Phyllis assures Cane that Victor won’t hurt Lily, Mattie, and Charlie is bluffing to get back Newman Enterprises. Daniel tells Phyllis that if she doesn’t give Newman Enterprises back to the Newman family he and Lucy will never speak to her again.

Mariah talks to a sleeping Dominic and tells him that her life has never been the same since she gave him to Abby, Chance, and Devon after he was born. Mariah also tells a sleeping Dominic that she is his mommy, and nobody will take him away from her again she will die before she allows anyone to take him from her.

Abby and Devon record a video plea to Mariah asking her to bring Dominic home and they post the video on Tessa’s social media. Abby, Devon, Shsron, and Tessa talk to Detective Burrow who has moved from Los Angeles to Genoa City and is now a part of the Police Department. Everyone tells Detective Burrow about Mariah and her struggles in the hope that he will bring Dominic and Mariah home safely.

Chelsea admits to Victor that Adam told her the basic details of his plan to get Newman Enterprises back from Cane. Chelsea makes it clear to Victor that Adam didn’t want to tell her the plan but once he told her the basics she figured out the rest of the plan. Chelsea also tells Victor that she told Nikki and Nikki suggested that they tell Lily about the plan so she and the twins will be safe.

Nikki is upset that Victor already put the plan in motion because she can’t get in touch with Lily and the twins. Jack tells Diane that Jill is sick and was trying to get Billy to see her, but Billy said that he was following Jill’s wishes in not going to see her.

Victor tells Cane he must sign Newman Enterprises over to him or he will never see his family again.

Billy tells Jack that he intends to run Chancellor Industries in a way that will honor Katherine and Jill but Jack thinks Billy wants to run the company to prove to all the people who didn’t believe in him that he can succeed at running Chancellor Industries.

Nick is unable to persuade Noah to take things slowly with Sienna and not move to Los Angeles with her.

Audra tells Holden that, when she was in school, she was bullied by girls for having an accent and wearing hand me down clothes. Audra tells Holden she worked hard to assimilate to the point of stealing clothes so that nobody would make fun of her again. Audra tells Holden that when she started making money she went back to the stores from which she stole cand bought clothes and donated the clothes to charities that help women. Holden tells Audra to talk to Claire because they have a lot in common . Audra tells Holden that she doesn’t want to talk to Claire but she will keep the peace as long as Holden doesn’t give Claire any more details about what happened in Los Angeles. Audra warns Holden that if Claire comes after her the gloves are off.

Claire talks with Sienna who tells her that Holden worked as a bartender at the Shadow Room when Audra came in with an art dealer who got drunk and started touching Audra and Holden defended Audra against the art dealer. Sienna tells Claire that the art dealer disappeared suddenly and nobody knows what happened to him. Claire asks Sienna the name of the man because she wants to find out what happened to him.

Sharon and Tessa have a long talk and they decide that Mariah has changed but no matter how much she was in emotional pain she would never kidnap Dominic. Sharon and Tessa think that because of the trauma Mariah suffered with Ian Ward he somehow got in her head and thar is why she kidnapped Dominic. Sharon and Tessa decide to try and figure out where Mariah and Dominic are and bring them both home so that Mariah can get the help she needs.

Nick tells Phyllis he is done with her taking Newman Enterprises from his family has permanently ruined their relationship. Phyllis tells Nick that it doesn’t matter to her and Nick tells Phyllis that she will be successful in business, but she will end up alone without anyone who cares about her.

Phyllis calls Summer but she doesn’t answer her phone. Summer sends Phyllis a text message that says don’t call me.

Devon and Abby go to Crimson Lights for coffee and they run into Daniel and Tessa. Devon and Abby tell Daniel and Tessa that someone took Dominic and the only thing they found was a scarf. Devon shows Tessa the scarf and she recognizes it as a custon made scarf she gave Mariah for Christmas two years ago.

Devon gets a call from the police station, and they tell him that a little boy matching Dominic’s description was seen at a nearby motel. Mariah tells Dominic it is time to go to the next hiding place. Devon and Abby get to the motel and find one of Dominic’s mittens. The policewoman shows Devon security footage from the motel security camera. Devon tells the policewoman that the people on the video are Mariah and Dominic. Abby decides to call her dad and get his security team looking for Mariah and Dominic.

Cane tells Billy that the takeover of Newman Enterprises is finished and he is now the CEO of Chancellor Industries just like he promised him. Billy tells Cane about Jill ‘s heart condition getting worse and asks Cane not to make an official announcement about him being the CEO of Chancellor Industries because if Jill finds out it could make here condition even worse.

Kyle has a talk with Diane and tells her that he will always love Claire but he has realized that he has to let her go and hope that if is meant to be they will get back together. Claire talks to Nikki about Holden and Kyle. Claire tells Nikki that she has truat issues with both Kyle and Holden and those trust issues involving Audra. Nikki believes in true love and thinks that if Claire and Kyle are meant to be they will get back together.

Claire and Kyle run into each other at Crimson Lights and talk about the situation at Newman Enterprises. Claire asks Kyle out to dinner and he accepts her invitation. Chelsea persuades Adam to tell her Victor’s plan. Adam and Chelsea are summoned to the ranch by Nikki who asks Adam to tell her Victor’s plan. Adam doesn’t want to tell Nikki the plan, but Chelsea tells Nikki the plan. Chelsea tells Nikki that Victor wants Cane to think that he has kidnapped Lily, Mattie, and Charlie so that Cane will give Newman Enterprises back to them. Nikki thinks the only way that the plan will work is to persuade Lily to help them with the plan

Sally tells Audra that since Billy is leaving Abbott Communications and, she can’t talk to Jill, she has made the decision to hire her to take Billy’s place at Abbott Communications and talk to Jill about it when she is feeling better.

Sally tells Victoria that Billy left Abbott Communications and Victoria figures out that Cane offered Billy the job of running Chancellor Industries. Sally confirms that is why Billy left Abbott Communications and also tells Victoria that she is worried that Billy will return to his old bad habits.

Devon and Abby search the Chancellor Mansion property three times and Abby finally persuades Devon that someone kidnapped Dominic. Devon calls the police to report Dominic missing. A guilt-ridden Mariah takes Dominic to the hotel room where she is staying and tells him that they are playing hide and seek with his mommy and Daddy and they have to keep changing places to keep going with the game. The hallucination of Ian Ward keeps telling her that sometime soon she will have to tell Dominic that Abby and Devon don’t love him anymore and they don’t want him anymore. Mariah doesn’t want to do what the hallucination of Ian Ward tells her to do because she can’t bear to break Dominic’s heart.

Sally tells Billy that she talked to his Uncle Snapper, and he told her that Jill’s condition has taken a turn for the worse. Billy later calls his mom and tells her he will go visit her when she feels better. Billy remembers when Jill told him that Chancellor Industries was his legacy.

Cane and Phyllis go to Newman Enterprises to tell the Newmans they must leave the building. Victor tells Phyllis to enjoy being on top because she will fall very soon. Victor tells Adam to go through with their plan and Nikki and Victoria are upset when Victor won’t tell them what he is planning to do.

The hallucination of Ian Ward persuades Mariah that the only way that she will be happy is to kidnap Dominic and raise him as her own child. Mariah goes to Abby and Devon ‘s house and kidnapped Dominic while Abby is in the garden shed getting a bucket to help Dominic make a snow man. Abby goes back inside the house and tells Devon she can’t find Dominic. Devon and Abby think Dominic is playing a game of hide and seek and they start to search for him.

Audra tries once again to apologize to Amy for hurting Nate and everything is going well in their talk until Amy catches Audra in a lie when she asks her about her relationship with Holden. Audra tells Amy that Holden was a bartender at a club she went to in Los Angeles and they were just casual acquaintances. Amy knows Audra very well and knows she is lying to her. Amy tells Audra that if she wants her trust again she must earn it.

Sally later tells Audra that Billy is about to let her down again by taking Cane’s offer to run Chancellor Industries. Sally has decided that she is going to tell Jill what Billy intends to do. Sally also hopes to persuade Jill to allow her to hire Audra to take Billy’s place at Abbott Communications.

Devon and Abby talk about the crisis Newman Enterprises is going through because of Cane’s AI program. Devon and Lily later take Dominic (now played by Ethan Ray Clark) ice skating.

Mariah is in a hotel room in an unknown location thinking about Tessa and Aria. Mariah misses Tessa and Aria very much but she decides she is a horrible person and doesn’t deserve to be happy. Mariah remembers Dominic’s birth and how she was Dominic’s surrogate mother so that Abby and Chance could have a family. The hallucination of Ian Ward tells Mariah that she must follow the plan but Mariah doesn’t think that she needs to do whatever it is that the hallucination of Ian Ward wants her to do.

Sally tries to persuade Billy not to take Cane’s offer but, in the end, she tells him that she won’t stand in his way. Billy goes to Cane’s train and tells him that he wants to accept his offer. Phyllis tells Cane that he shouldn’t let Billy run Chancellor Industries because he will run it into the ground.

Billy wonders if Cane is going to honor the deal he offered him or if he is going to let Phyllis call the shots.

Victor tells Nick that he took care of Matt Clark and he doesn’t have to worry about him anymore.

Daniel isn’t happy that Phyllis is taking over Newman Enterprises, and he thinks Summer will also be angry with her for doing this to her father’s family. Phyllis tells Daniel that if he and Summer can’t be happy for her they never really love her. Daniel tells Tessa that he thinks there is something happening between them and Tessa agrees that there is something happening between them.

Sally comes to see Cane on his train and tells him that by making Billy the offer of Chancellor Industries he is contributing to releasing Billy’s demons again. Phyllis isn’t happy because Cane made the offer because he thinks Billy will run Chancellor Industries into the ground. Cane tells Phyllis to concentrate on running Newman Enterprises and not worry about anything else since he is the one whose decisions really matter.

Jack goes to the Newman ranch to tell Nikki how sorry he is that Chancellor Industries is caught up in this AI program mess. Nikki thanks Jack for all of his support this past year. Nikki tells Jack that she doesn’t know what she would do without his friendship. Victor walks into the house just as Nikki and Jack are hugging each other.

Billy tells Victoria that Chancellor Industries doesn’t matter to him anymore. Nick persuades Victor to let Matt’s victims have five minutes to tell him what they think of him.

Noah, Sienna, Nick, and Sharon tell Matt what a horrible person he is and why they are glad that he is going to pay for all his crimes. Nick is in a lot of pain from his leg injury and Sharon tells him she can stay in her guest room, and she will take him back to the hospital tomorrow.

Nick persuades Jack and Kyle to give him Matt Clark and in exchange he guarantees that Newman Enterprises won’t use the AI program to get control of Jabot. Nick takes Matt to the Newman Ranch and hides him somewhere on the property. Noah finds Nick outside and sees blood on Nick ‘s hand and he asks Nick if Matt is dead. Nick tells Noah that he made a deal with Jack and Jack gave him Matt. Noah asks Nick what he is going to do with Matt.

Cane offers Billy Chancellor Industries to run, and Billy tells him he will think about it and have an answer for him soon. Billy tells Sally about Cane offering him Chancellor Industries.

Nick asks Phyllis to stop the takeover of Newman Enterprises, or she might lose Daniel and Summer once they find out that she and Cane took over Newman Enterprises. Nick tells Phyllis that he is going to grind her and Cane into dust and enjoy doing it.

Nick later calls Summer what Phyllis did to Newman Enterprises. Cane gives Phyllis one last chance to get out of their business partnership so she won’t lose the respect of Daniel and Summer but she says Daniel and Summer will understand what she did so she is going to burn down the Newmans.
