Phyllis plays referee between Nick and Summer as they argue about her engagement to Kyle. Nick tells Summer he can’t accept her engagement to Kyle and Summer tells her dad she understands his feelings even though she is deeply hurt by his words. Elena assures Nate that her relationship with Devon will be fine but deep down inside she isn’t sure that her words to Nate are true. Devon walks around his apartment and cries as he has memories of Hilary. Billy blames Adam for Alyssa’s disappearance but later he gets a call from Alyssa who tells him that she finished the story and is sending it to him right now. Chelsea demands that Adam tell her if he made Alyssa disappear.

Phyllis accidentally sees Summer’s ring and tries to persuade her that getting married right now would be a mistake. Amanda tells Billy that Devon gave her Hilary’s birth certificate but she wonders why Hilary was born in Evanston, Illinois and their mother drove two hours away to Madison Wisconsin to leave her twin at a fire station. Billy is determined to help Amanda find out about Hilary and her past. Adam is torn about sending Connor to boarding school but Nick advises him that boarding school would help Connor get away from things in Genoa City. Nate advises Devon to help Amanda learn more about Hilary and also tell Elena that helping Amanda is what he needs to do to honor Hilary’s memory. Devon calls Amanda to come to his place to talk about Hilary. Adam and Chelsea have a long talk about sending Connor to boarding school and tells her to come to his place so he can talk about sending Connor to boarding school and decide it would be good for Connor since it would also keep him away from Victor. Chelsea persuades the mother of Connor’s best friend to also send him to boarding school so Connor won’t feel alone. Nick brings Phyllis flowers and tells her it’s time to make things permanent for the sake of their family and Summer walks in and assumes they are talking about getting married to upstage her engagement to Kyle. Nick is surprised that Kyle and Summer have gotten engaged so quickly.

Elena persuades Devon not to help Amanda find out details about Hilary’s life for his sake and the sake of their relationship. Amanda opens up to Billy about being Hilary’s twin and her need to find out more about her sister. Billy tells Amanda they can use Chancellor Communications reporters and other resources to help her find out about Hilary. Amanda thanks Billy for listening to her and accepts his offer to help her learn more about Hilary. Chelsea flirts with Theo so she can get into the Chancellor Communications offices so she can plant a listening device there but Billy arrives just after she plants the bug under the desk. Lola is jealous when she sees Theo leave Society with Chelsea and later tells Mariah even though she knows Theo is a bad boy, she still wants to be with him. Chance is frustrated with Adam because he won’t tell him if he plans to cross the line when he handles their problem with Alyssa. Chance tells Adam that he intends to take the job as detective and their friendship will have to take a backseat to the law.

Phyllis tells Nick she has a more realistic view of romance while he has a more romantic view of love. Phyllis thinks they will hurt each other but Nick asks her to trust that their relationship will last this time. Traci discovers that Dina was wearing a beautiful emerald necklace in the home movie and she is determined to find it. Sharon and Rey have a long talk and they decide not to fight anymore. Sharon promises Rey she won’t let Adam come between them. Amanda asks Devon to tell her about Hilary but he doesn’t want to open up that painful wound of grief again. Devon realizes that he is the only person that can tell Amanda about Hilary so he tells Amanda that Hilary did a lot of bad things because she wasn’t perfect but deep down she was a good person who did a lot of good things that nobody ever saw because she didn’t take cameras with her. Chelsea tells Adam she will marry him right away to prove to him that she won’t ever leave him. Chelsea tells Adam she is ready to fight his enemies with him. Adam decides to come back home and they start to work on a plan to take down Victor and the rest of the people who are out to get him.

Phyllis thinks that Dina isn’t trying to tell Jack to find love but she might be giving him another message. Jack calls Traci and they decide to watch the home movie again to see if they discover another clue to Dina’s message to them. Billy persuades Alyssa to work for Chancellor Communications and they are both eager to see Adam pay for his crimes. Victor warns Kyle not to break Summer’s heart again because if he does he will face the consequences of his actions. Amanda gets the DNA test results from Nate and after she reads the results she heads to Devon’s place to tell him the news. Amanda arrives at Devon’s place and tells him that the DNA results show that she is Hilary’s twin sister.

Rey and Sharon have an argument because she once again put Adam’s needs above her health. Alyssa meets with Billy and tells him she is investigating what happened in Vegas. Chance tells Abby they should break up because he doesn’t want her caught in the middle if him helping Adam gets dangerous. Abby makes it clear to Chance that she is not a delicate flower and she can handle whatever results from him helping Adam.. Chance tells Abby that he never wants her to leave him because he doesn’t know what he would do without her. Alyssa and Billy team up to bring down Adam because Billy thinks it is time that Adam go to jail for his crimes. Adam tells Chelsea that he has accepted that he is evil and he has no good inside of him. Adam tells Chelsea they should break up because he can’t be the man that asked her to marry him.

Nick and Victoria talk and Victoria tells Nick she has a plan to make Victor and Adam realize their actions have consequences. Rey tells Mariah that Sharon’s cancer has spread and shares with her that he wants to be the man Sharon can turn to but, he fears she is with Adam. Chance tells Chelsea that Adam is in a terrible state of mind and she needs to go talk to him and bring him home. Chelsea tells Chance why Adam is in such a bad state of mind and Chance promises to help Adam with his problems if he accepts his help. Sharon tells Adam her cancer has spread and she needs to help him do something positive and not focus on her cancer that she can’t fix.. Sharon falls asleep and Adam leaves the room to let her rest. Sharon awakens when Chelsea knocks on the door of Adam’s room and asks Adam to let her in so they can talk.

Devon decides to give Nate Hilary’s comb, burettes, and hair ties so he can get a DNA sample from those things. Elena tells Devon she is glad that he made that decision. Elena later tells Nate that she hoped Devon would decide not to help Amanda because if Amanda is Hilary’s sister Devon may fall in love with her. Nate does his best to calm Elena down and assure her that Devon will not leave her for Amanda. Chance finds Adam and tells him that Alyssa could cause trouble for them. Chance arrived to see Adam and Sharon together. Chance assumes they are having an affair and this upsets Sharon and she tells Adam she can’t be his therapist anymore. Lola tells Theo she doesn’t want to see him anymore since he doesn’t care about her enough to send her a text when his meeting with Billy runs late. Sharon cries because her pathology report is bad news about her cancer.

Alyssa Montalvo won’t give up on trying to find out what happened to the missing man in Las Vegas. Chance and Abby worry that she could find out their secret and try to come up with a plan to derail Alyssa’s investigation. Nate tells Amanda the circumstances of Hilary’s death and she is visibly emotional when she hears how Hilary and her baby died. Amanda promises to close the subject of her DNA test if Devon decides not to give him a DNA sample from Hilary. Devon asks Elena what he should do about Amanda’s request to give her something that belonged to Hilary that contains her DNA so that she can find out if they are sisters. Elena tells Devon that he should follow his heart because it will lead him to make the right decision.

Lily thinks that Billy and Amanda have been flirting at work, but Billy insists he and Amanda are just friends. Victor and Chelsea worry that Adam will leave town and never return. Adam packs a suitcase and heads to Sharon’s house where Noah is angry with him for asking for Sharon’s help while she is fighting cancer. Adam tells Sharon that he is moving into a hotel because he can’t be around Chelsea and Connor until he can deal with the trauma of killing a man when he was a child. Adam sends Sharon a text with the name and address of the hotel and makes her promise not to tell Chelsea, Rey, or Victor his location. Noah pleads with Sharon not to put Adam’s problems above her health because Adam can take care of himself, but her family needs her as a part of their lives. Amanda asks Devon for something that belonged to Hilary that has her DNA so she can find out if Hilary is her sister. Devon tells Amanda he needs time to think about what Hilary would want him to do in this situation. Billy sees Amanda taking her DNA test at the office and thinks that Nate is pushing her to do something she isn’t ready to do yet. Amanda tells Billy he has no right to give an opinion on her private life since they decided they were only going to be friends. Chelsea tells Victor he should have never told Adam that he killed AJ Montalvo and he could have avoided the pain Adam is going through right now. Chelsea decides she isn’t going to let Victor and Nikki see Connor anymore because she needs to protect her child from them.

Nate discovers that Amanda has the same blood type and wonders if Amanda and Hilary could be related to each other. Amanda is hesitant to find out the truth but she decides to find out so she can move on with her life. Victoria talks to Dan, one of Newman Enterprises stockholders, who tells her he has heard that Newman Enterprises employees are not happy with her leadership. Alyssa Montalvo returns to town and tells Chance she is writing a story about a missing person who was last seen in Las Vegas.

Kyle and Summer have a long talk with Phyllis and Nick and tell them that they are moving in together. Nick worries that Kyle will hurt Summer again but in the end he just wants his daughter to be happy. Nick agrees to let Kyle and Summer to move into the house that he was building for them when they were married. Mariah worries that Sharon will put Adam above her recovery but Sharon promises Mariah she will not lose Rey or neglect her recovery. Chelsea and Victor talk to Adam to try and persuade him that he was not born evil but Adam insists he has always been an evil person. Sharon heads over to Adam’s place and Adam tells her he intends to leave town and never return because it is what is best for Chelsea and Connor. Sharon persuades Adam to let her work with him and she will prove that he is a good man.

Lola talks to Mariah and tells her she had casual sex with Theo and although she pretends it’s what she wanted she doesn’t feel good about it. Theo later tells Lola it’s okay if she slept with him on the rebound from Kyle. Lola is upset that Theo thinks she would use him like that but really she is upset because she knows Theo is right. Jack decides that he is going to find love because he is tired of being alone. Jack also tells Traci that he will find a balance between his business and personal life.

Victoria tells Billy the details of Adam killing AJ Montalvo to protect his mother Hope and asks him to find proof so he can put the story up on the Chancellor Communications website. Victoria tells Billy that she has a feeling that the Newman board of directors wants Victor to step in and stop her from doing what she thinks is right for the company. So, this is her way of standing up for herself. Billy tells the story to Lily and Amanda and after a long discussion, Billy promises Lily that he will find solid proof before he posts the story on their website. Nate gets upset with Elena for asking him too many questions about his personal relationship with Amanda and later admits that his relationship with Amanda is just casual right now and he wants the kind of relationship that she has with Devon. Sharon helps Adam deal with his feelings after he remembers how he killed AJ Montalvo. Chelsea arrives at Hope’s farm and argues with Sharon because she didn’t tell her that she thought Adam came to the farm. Chelsea thinks Sharon wants to be the person to save Adam because she can’t let go of him. Chelsea tells Adam that Sharon has told her everything that happened and she asks Adam to come home with her.

Summer takes Kyle to a romantic picnic in the park after they finish work for the day. Summer wants to move in with Kyle and he says yes making Summer very happy. Chelsea tells Sharon Adam is missing and Sharon has a hunch Adam went to Hope’s farm in Kansas so she asks Victor to borrow the Newnan jet and she and Rey head to Kansas to find Adam. Adam stands at his mother’s kitchen and slowly remembers what happened when AJ died.

Lily, Nikki, and Summer to the Grand Phoenix for a trial run of her Escape Club.  Amanda and Elena bond over a spa day as they talk about Devon and Nate.  Abby solves a mystery planned for her by Phyllis.  Lily and Traci have high tea and share memories of Colleen.  Traci decides to take the job as the head of Chancellor Communications fiction platform.  Nikki plays a sonata on the piano and Summer binge watches her favorite show. While eating her favorite snacks and playing her favorite video games.  All the ladies are thrilled with their customized escape and decide to become members of the Escape Club.

Traci finds the home movies in the boxes that are sent to her from Paris. Dina has a brief moment of memory while watching the movie but then she goes back into her world. Jack is moved when he watches the movie of John and Dina as they celebrate bringing Jack home from the hospital. Adam begins his therapy with Sharon to help him remember when AJ Montalvo died. Victoria asks Nikki to be her chief operating officer and she accepts the job. Jack tells Traci and Abby that Dina wanted them to watch that home movie to remind them that family is the most important thing in life.

Phyllis gets ready to take her women’s escape club for a test drive. Traci is determined to find her father’s Bixley movie camera so Dina can watch the old home movies of the family. Traci later talks to Abby who thinks the film reels and movie camera might be in some boxes Dina left at her house in Paris; so they call the man that is taking care of Dina’s things in Paris to send them the boxes. Victoria announces to the press that she is selling the Newman media division to Chancellor communications and the cosmetic division to Jabot. Victor is furious with her because she plans to sell other parts of the company. Victor tells Victoria that he won’t let her tear apart his company just because she is upset that he briefly replaced her as CEO with Adam.

Dina is agitated, but when Jack finally calms her, she says one word “Bixley,” so Kyle, Jack, and Summer want to discover what “Bixley” means and why it is making Dina so upset. Kevin and Esther talk about parenting because she feels badly she didn’t give Chloe a father. Kevin is worried that he won’t be a good father to his baby boy since he never had a good example of how to be a father to a son. George, the caretaker of Hope’s farm, comes to Genoa City and tells Adam that he did kill AJ Montalvo when he was a little boy because he wanted to protect his mother. George tells Adam that he was so traumatized by what happened that he blocked everything out of his mind. Adam pleads with Sharon to help him figure out what happened the night AJ Montalvo died.

Sharon has her surgery and awaits the results of the pathology report to find out if her cancer is in remission. Theo applies for a job at Chancellor communications and, after his interview Billy, thinks that he and Lily should give him a chance and hire him for the job. Phyllis puts dinosaur bones at the construction site for Abby’s hotel in order to delay the construction of Abby’s hotel. Nick offers to sell Abby a choice of any of the buildings he owns so that she will only have to renovate her new hotel, but she must stop construction of the hotel across the street from the Grand Phoenix.
