Sonny and Laura are at Sonny’s house watching the election returns and talking about the Rocco situation. Sonny tells Laura that the video of her defending Rocco against Henry Dalton has gone viral and people are leaving messages in the comment section calling her a bad ass.

Sonny is confident Laura will win reelection as Mayor and Rocco will soon come home.

Charlotte and Danny give statements to Nathan about what happened in the lab. Nathan takes their statements without their parents’ present so their statements won’t be admissible in court. Nathan later calls Dante, Lulu, and Jason and tells them Charlotte and Rocco want to make statements to help Rocco.

Ric is at Alexis’s house and hypothetically tells her Portia altered Heather’s test results so Heather’s would stay in prison. Ric also hypothetically tells Alexis that Drew found out the information and threatened to take away Portia’s medical license if she didn’t do what he wanted her to do. Ric thinks Portia could be the person who shot Drew because she was tired of being blackmailed by him.

Alexis and Ric head to the police station after she gets a call from Jason telling her that Danny wants to give a statement to help Rocco. Alexis tells Charlotte and Danny that they need to give a statement about what happened in the lab so they can cast doubt on Henry Dalton ‘s story and make Henry Dalton the defendant. Ric is in Dante’s office telling Dante, Lulu, and Jason the strategy he plans to use to prove Rocco is innocent.

Britt goes to Wyndamere and tells Jens Siddwell that if he doesn’t get Henry Dalton to drop the charges against Rocco she will torch the secret project.

Phyllis tells Lily that she and Cane had dessert in her suite and now they are going to have a chocolate souffle in the restaurant. Lily tells Cane she doesn’t care that he slept with Phyllis and tells him to ignore the message she left on his phone. Lily also turns down an invitation from Cane to have breakfast with him tomorrow .

Cane tells Phyllis he wants her but he will always love Lily. Phyllis tells Cane that she saw him trying to figure out the password to her laptop.

Lily tells Holden that someone used the AI program against Arabesque and now the company is being dismantled from the inside. Lily advises Holden to move back to Los Angeles. Audra worries that Holden told Claire part of the story about the Los Angeles secret, but she is glad that he didn’t tell Claire the bad part of the story.

Claire arrives at the Athletic Club and sees Audra sitting with Holden and is tired of Audra interfering in her life . Claire calls Billy and leaves a message telling him that she wants to talk to him and Sally about Audra.

Nick calls Victor and tells him that Matt Clark is alive and using the name Mitch Becall and he is married to Sienna. Nick also tells Victor that Noah is having an affair with Sienna and now Noah is missing. Nick tells Victor that he is worried that Matt found out about Noah’s affair with Sienna and has kidnapped him. Victor tells Nick he will have Michael investigate Matt as well as Detective Burrow.

Victor confides in Adam everything Nick told him on the phone and Adam offers to go help Nick in Los Angeles. Nick sets up a meeting with Detective Burrow, and the Detective tells Nick to come alone to meet with him.

Cane has sex with Phyllis in her hotel room at the Athletic Club. Cane tries to figure out the password to Phyllis’s computer while Phyllis is in the shower. Phyllis wonders why Cane is taking so long to get into the shower with her so she opens the door to the bathroom and sees Cane has her laptop open and is trying to figure out her password . Phyllis calls Cane and he heads to the bathroom to take a shower with her.

Lily thinks about some of the conversations she and Cane have had and decides to go talk to Cane but as she is about to get off the elevator to go to Cane’s room she sees Phyllis coming out of his room and Cane and Phyllis talking in the hallway.

EJ announced to everyone at the gala that Marlena was doing better and resting at the hospital. The event was going to resume. Kayla told Steve and Sarah that they were doing more tests on Marlena. Sarah felt bad that she hadn’t been able to diagnose her yet. Steve (Julie’s brother) noticed that she was wearing Alice’s diamond necklace. Julie apologized to Steve for accusing him of stealing it when Doug’s grandson did it. Mike revealed that Doug III reached out to Robin. Mike talked to her about Doug’s gratitude for Julie opening her home to him. Julie would have preferred to hear it from him directly. Mike was thankful that she let Jeremy stay with her. He thought Jeremy could find his way. Jack surprised Jennifer. She couldn’t stop talking about Thomas’ accident. Jennifer talked to him about getting custody of their grandchildren and taking them to Boston. Jack agreed that Abby would want her kids as far away from Cat as possible. Eli told EJ that he wanted to question him about his missing family members after the gala. He wanted to talk to him about Stefan, Tony and Dimitri. EJ let him know that Stefan and Dimitri left on their own. He was focused on finding Tony. EJ thought the police should consider Tony’s disappearance a priority too. Sarah let Maggie know that Xander didn’t respond to her divorce decree. Maggie shared that Xander implied that he wasn’t going to fight the divorce. She thought Sarah should be relieved. Sarah wasn’t convincing when she said she was relieved. Kayla found EJ and congratulated him for the clinic. She thought he did a good thing regardless of his motives. EJ smiled at her smugly. Everyone at the gala caught up with each other.

Jennifer talked to Lucas about getting custody of her grandchildren. Lucas understood where she was coming from, but he thought she was doing more harm than good. Julie approached Maggie at the gala. Maggie told her about the problems that Titan was facing. Julie knew that Maggie understood the business more than Xander and Philip. She thought Maggie could turn things around for the company. EJ continued with the gala. Paulina received a disturbing phone call. She wanted to let Abe know about it later. Sarah, Mike and Kayla made a tribute to Tom. EJ announced that the best way to honor Tom’s memory was to make the clinic free to everyone. Paulina stood up to give her speech. Abe hoped EJ made progress with what they talked about before. EJ said he didn’t forget. Marie Horton stood up to talk about Tom. Maggie talked about joining the Horton family and volunteering at the hospital. Julie talked about Tom as well. Jennifer presented everyone with a slideshow. There were flashbacks of Tom. Sarah was called to the hospital by Marlena’s cardiologist. Eli wanted EJ to know that the bureau would have more questions. EJ would share any information that helped them find his brother. Rolf was thankful that his cryogenic chamber was almost ready. Paulina told EJ that Kristen escaped prison. Kristen was bound and gagged. She was shoved into the DiMera crypt. Someone took off her blindfold. The person looked like Tony.

Naomi and Jacob met Bill and Hayley at the country club. While they were talking, Naomi brought up Dani and Andre’s honeymoon plans. They talked about Derek and Ashley breaking up, Jacob’s brother being in town, and Hayley wanting to have a baby. Hayley held her phone to show the pictures of her and Bill’s vacation home. Naomi saw a message on Hayley’s phone about her picking up her birth control pills. Hayley noticed that Naomi saw the message. She covered her ground by telling Bill that she wanted to get off her birth control pills. Leslie went to see Anita to offer her services at Winterfest. Anita said the event wasn’t looking for any more volunteers. She convinced Leslie to make a donation instead of helping. Later on, Anita and Nicole talked about Leslie helping at Winterfest. After their talk, Anita was convinced to let Leslie volunteer. Joey questioned Randy about his relationship with Hayley. Randy refused to tell Joey how he knew Hayley. Joey told Randy to keep whatever he was doing away from his door. He found Vanessa talking to a wealthy customer. She told him not to gamble. Joey was upset with her butting into his business. Vanessa asked if he felt responsible for what happened to Doug. Joey was upset the longer they kept talking. He ended up blurting out that he loved her.

Cat flashed back to reading a book to a bandaged man in the hospital EJ approached her and said that Tony’s phone was found on a beach. The location tracker was turned off. EJ didn’t trust Shane or Rafe to look for Tony, so he decided to hire people to do it. After EJ walked away, Cat called Rafe. She let him know that EJ seemed seriously worried about Tony. Cat thought he put on a good act for someone who was responsible for his brother’s disappearance, Belle promised Marlena that she would be civil to Sami during the gala. She left for the gala and Marlena stayed behind. Marlena had memories of John. Eric wanted to visit Sami, and she assumed that Marlena put him up to visiting her. He said that he could worry about her on his own. Eric was surprised to find out that she got engaged so quickly. Sami threw his love life in his face. She wondered what she did for him to get together with the one person she hated more than anyone. Eric reminded her that she used to hate John. Sami didn’t think there was any comparison between John and Nicole. She admitted that she loved John even when she hated him. Sami reunited with Will and Arianna. She couldn’t believe that her son and granddaughter were all grown up. After she talked to Will and Arianna, Sami ran into EJ at the town square. They had a nice moment together. Sami reunited with Brady, Rachel and Tate. EJ took Rachel aside to keep her from having Thomas involved in her pranks. He reminded her that Thomas wasn’t like them. Brady interrupted their conversation and told him to stay away from his daughter.

Gwen approached EJ and told him that their delivery was delayed. EJ sent her to handle it because the gala was about to start. After she left, Sami accused him of sleeping with Gwen. EJ wondered why she cared if he did sleep with her. Sami stammered while she was talking and walked off. After her run in with EJ, Sami ran into Belle. She talked to her about her relationship not working out with EJ. Sami found love and hoped Belle would find it too. Belle thought she came back to Salem to flaunt her engagement in her face. EJ started the event. Brady, Paul and Belle stood up to honor their father. John’s estate gave money for pancreatic research in honor of Isabella. Brady also paid tribute to Marlena. She talked about the type of woman Isabella was. Marlena couldn’t be prouder of John for funding research that could lead to a cure. After her speech, Paul told Marlena that he and Andrew were looking to adopt. Sami joined them to let them know that she was going away with her fiance. She looked at EJ one last time before she left. Later, Marlena clutched her chest while she was sitting with Rachel. Kayla and Belle rushed to her. Marlena didn’t want them to make a scene. Gwen saw the delivery at the hospital. She welcomed the delivery.

Dani told Andre that he was why she canceled the shoot with Forrester Creations. She said he kept talking about the risk of the shoot. Andre agreed to tell Dani the truth. He said he didn’t want to look like he didn’t fit or ruin her comeback. Dani said she understood how he felt and canceled the trip. She said they should pick a place for their honeymoon since they were at the airport. They decided to go to Los Angeles even though they weren’t doing the shoot. Eva didn’t enjoy listening to Leslie and Ted talking. Jan told Eva that Leslie could only make progress with Ted if he allowed it. While Leslie and Ted were talking, she found out about Winterfest. She tried to get Ted to invite her to it, but he didn’t invite her. Eva tried to talk Leslie into thinking about other charities, but she realized Leslie was going to crash Anita’s event. Later on, Ted told Nicole that he wanted to ask Eva to Winterfest as his plus one. Nicole said it wouldn’t do well with Kat. Ted said she would have to deal with it. Derek got help from his co-workers Liam and Sherry. They helped Derek move out of Ashley’s apartment. When Derek and Sherry were alone, she told him he didn’t have to get through the tough time alone. She ended up kissing him. Derek pulled away from her and let her know that he was still in love with Ashley.

Carly tries to persuade Lucas not to move into Wyndamere with Marco because Marco’s father, Jens Siddwell, is a dangerous man. Lucas thinks Carly doesn’t trust him to run his own life.

Curtis’s Aunt Stella tries to persuade him to go to marriage counseling and fix the problems in his marriage for the sake of his baby.

Gio and Emma decide to go tell Dante the truth that they were the ones that asked Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco into helping them break into the lab .

Ric and acting District Attorney Turner reach a plea deal that she will give Rocco six months community service since he doesn’t have a record. Professor Dalton talks to acting District Attorney Turner and, when she gets to court, she takes the plea deal off the table. The District Attorney charges Rocco with reckless endangerment, trespassing, and tampering with proprietary evidence. The District Attorney tells the judge that Professor Dalton provided her with photos of the damage Rocco did to the lab.

Laura and Sonny know that Rocco is being framed by someone. The judge orders that Rocco be taken into police custody until his bail hearing.

Laura is about to persuade Professor Henry Dalton not to have Rocco arrested because Dalton admits that there was no sign of forced entry into his lab but Ezra Boyle tells the policeman have Rocco empty his pockets and if he has the key then that means he used the key to go into the lab. Rocco empties his pockets and takes out the key, so he is arrested and Laura goes with Rocco to the police station skipping her debate with Ezra Boyle.

Ric tells Sonny that he has hated him foe years but his experience being held captive by the digital detox cult has made him want to make amends with his family. Ric tells Sonny that he has a way to help him keep his piers because he can prove the piers are not imminent domain. Sonny tells Ric he will consider hiring him as his lawyer to solve the issue of the piers.

Emma and Gio go tell Sonny that Rocco has been arrested because he, Charlotte, and Danny broke into Professor Dalton’s lab to prove he is testing on animals but
they found nothing in the lab. Emma and Gio consider turning themselves in but Sonny tells them that would be a bad idea because they are adults and would be put on trial as adults. Sonny calls Ric to defend Rocco and that will be his chance to prove that he should also be his lawyer for the piers issue.

Danny and Christine go to Jason for help and tell him what happened to Rocco. Britt is there and she figures out that either Charlotte or Danny took the key from her purse. Britt goes to Jens Siddwell and tells him she wants him to persuade Dalton to drop the charges against Dalton to drop the charges against Rocco because the trial will bring unnecessary attention to their research. Jens talks to Dalton and demands that he drop the charges against Rocco but he says that Mayor Collins humiliated him and he is going to make sure Rocco pays the price. Rocco is released into the custody of his parents until his arraignment tomorrow.

In Genoa City, Victoria asks Nate out to dinner, and he happily accepts her invitation.

Phyllis flirts with Cane but he tells her that he still wants to try and get back together with Lily. Phyllis gives Cane a quick kiss and tells him to let go of the past and move on with his life. Lily sees Phyllis kiss Cane and Cane explains to Lily that he is trying to find out if Phyllis stole his AI program. Cane tells Lily that they could still get back their relationship. Lily tells Cane that they can’t get their relationship back because they have both changed too much. Cane later tells Phyllis that he is ready to let go of his past and move forward with his life! Cane asks Phyllis if she is free tonight for a date.

In Los Angeles, Nick and Sharon arrive at the hospital and a nurse tells them that Noah checked out against medical advice. Nick and Sharon go to the Shadow Room because they are sure Noah went there to look for Sienna. Noah arrives at the Shadow Room and finds the man who he calls Mitch. Mitch aka Matt tells Noah that he has no idea why Nick and Sharon think his name is Matt . Mitch tells Noah that he has no interest in investing in his club because he knows that he has been sleeping with Sienna. Noah tells Mitch that he and Sienna are just friends but Mitch feels hurt and betrayed by Noah whom he considered a friend.

Detective Burrow arrives and tells Noah he must come with him for questioning about his car accident. Noah tells Detective Burrow that he doesn’t remember anything about the accident. Detective Burrow tells Noah he has more questions for him and he must go with him. Nick and Sharon arrive at the Shadow Room and Matt tells them that he hasn’t seen Noah today because he hasn’t come to the club. Matt threatens to call the police and press charges against Nick for assault. Matt also wants to charge Sharon with harassment and making death threats against him. Nick tells Matt that he didn’t threaten him, however, if he hurts Noah , he is a dead man.

Chase, Brook Lynn, and Olivia wait for Ned to get out of surgery. Gio also waits at the hospital with Emma and tells her he regrets wasting all this time keeping his grandpa at arm’s length. Gio wonders if he will get the chance to get to know his grandpa.

Willow gets out on bail and, when she goes to Metro Court, she sees Michael and Wiley with Jucinda. Willow tells Michael that she knows he planted the gun in her room at Elizabeth’s house and Alexis will prove it. Willow also doesn’t like that Michael is exposing Wiley to a sex worker but Michael tells Willow that Jacinda is now working as Nina’s assistant.

Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco break into Dalton’s lab. Rocco allows Dalton to catch him so that Charlotte and Danny don’t get caught by him.

Martin talks to Laura before her debate with Ezra Boyle and gives her some points on how to handle him.

Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco don’t find any animals in Dalton’s lab but Rocco thinks Dalton moved the animals. Charlotte and Danny find Jason and tell him that they break into Dalton’s lab and Rocco got caught.

Henry Dalton interrupts the conversation that Laura and Ezra Boyle are having before the start of the debate and tells Laura that he found Rocco inside his lab and he wants Rocco arrested for breaking and entering .

Cane tells Adam to let Victor know that he is grateful he used the AI program to destroy Arabesque because now he can focus on repairing his relationship with Charlie and Mattie . Cane tells Adam that there are more important things in life then money.

Danny and Christine hire Pietro to plan their wedding and it takes some time to persuade Pietro they want a simple wedding. Danny and Christine decide to have a powdered doughnut tower instead of a wedding cake.

Cane tells Phyllis that his tech team will find out who stole the AI program from him. Phyllis tells Cane she will help him rehabilitate his image so Charlie and Mattie may forgive him.

Tessa decides to move on with her life because Mariah refused to see her or talk to her on the phone.

Adam tells Victor that he plans to find out who the secret investor in Abbott Communications is and persuade the investor to pull the funding for the company. Adam then intends to tell Billy his company has no funding on the night of the Abbott Communications launch party. Adam hopes that will be enough distractions for the Abbotts not to notice when the AI program is in the Jabot computer system.

Ted tried to explain to Kat why he wanted to bond with Eva. Kat wasn’t interested in hearing about it. She felt like he was trying to make Eva her equal. Kat told him that Eva wasn’t a good person, and she definitely wasn’t her equal. She reminded him about the destruction that Eva and Leslie caused. Ted reminded her that he broke up the family. He didn’t blame Eva for destroying it. Ted assured her that Eva being in his life wouldn’t change anything with her. He said that he loved both of his daughters. Kat let him know that she would never love Eva and wouldn’t accept her as her sister. Eva tried to keep Leslie from assuming that she would get back together with Ted. Her plan didn’t work because she thought she would get Ted back. Jan showed up at the club and joined Eva and Leslie. Eva asked her to talk some sense into her mother about Ted. Jan wanted to give Leslie the benefit of the doubt when it concerned Ted. Dani and Andre were prepared to go to Forrester Creations when they received blessing from Anita and Vernon. Vernon admitted that he and Anita had reservations at first about them being together, but they supported them now. They supported them because Andre helped Dani get over Bill. Dani wanted to give Andre one more chance to back out of the photoshoot. He said he was all in, but he had to go to his apartment to get something. He wanted to meet her at the airport. Dani told him the trip was off. He wanted to know why she changed her mind. She wanted him to think about it, and he would realize why she didn’t want to go anymore.

Naomi helped Ashley pack Derek’s things. Ashley admitted that she wasn’t honest about her feelings for Andre. Derek was with Shanice and showed him that he could stand. She was impressed with his progress. Derek told her what happened with Ashley. Shanice wanted to push him to work harder so he could recover. After Derek finished with Shanice, he went to Ashley’s place. Naomi told him to get his things out of Ashley’s place. He gave Naomi the keys and asked her to give them to Ashley. Ashley was at the hospital, and Shanice told her that she knew what was going on with Derek. She couldn’t tell her because of HIPPA laws.

Rafe told Eli that he and Cat were going to take EJ down. He told Eli that they believe the free clinic was for evil. Rafe said they would all find out what was going on. Eric and Will went to the pub. Roman was happy to see them. Sami went to see Marlena. She showed Marlena her engagement ring. Marlena was surprised to see that she was engaged after dating for two months. She was also surprised that she was engaged to a Vitali. Sami defended her fiance and said she would be careful. Abe wanted Lani to convince Theo not to work for DiMera. Lani said she agreed with Paulina. She said Theo was grown and that the DiMeras were his family. Javi and Leo talked about how hard it was going to be going to the baby shower. While they were talking, Javi said he was concerned about Leo looking for a story about EJ for the gala. Javi said he didn’t know what he would do if anything happened to him. Leo said he would be okay. He told Javi that Gwen wanted him to find Dimitri, but he wouldn’t do it if Javi didn’t think it was cool, Javi asked if finding Dimitri would give him closure. Leo wasn’t sure if he would find him because he would have been back if he wanted to be found unless something happened. n

When Trey was fussy, Chanel wondered if she and Johnny should cancel the party. Johnny reminded her about Sami’s temper. Chanel said she knew they couldn’t cancel but she was concerned about how the Hernandezes were going to feel. Marlena explained to Sami why her siblings weren’t going to be at the party. When Marlena and Sami went to the pub, Roman noticed how pale Marlena was. Sami and Eric caught up with each other. Johnny and Chanel showed up with the baby. Sami told Johnny to find a way to make peace with EJ. When Johnny didn’t want to make peace, Sami told him not to do something he would regret. Eli and Lani let Chanel know that they wanted another baby. Rafe and Javi showed up at the pub. Sami pulled Rafe aside to tell him she was engaged. Rafe was happy for her. Marlena talked to Leo until she felt tired and decided to leave. Will took Marlena home. Rafe told Sami that he was going to run a background check on her fiance. Later on, Rafe got a call about Tony being declared missing.

Kate was happy to see Lucas. She warned him that Sami was coming home too. Lucas knew that Sami didn’t want to see him so he would try to avoid her. Sami walked into the pub to find her father. She saw Kate and Lucas together. Sami found out that Roman wasn’t there and allowed Lucas to talk to her. Lucas spotted the engagement ring on her finger. Sami confirmed her engagement and told him that she was never that happy. Lucas felt like she deserved it. They became emotional as they realized they would never be best friends again. Sami knew he was sorry for kidnapping her and framing EJ for it. She forgave him for everything. Cat went to EJ’s office and overheard his conversation with Kayla about Thomas’ accident. She blamed herself for what happened to Thomas. EJ assured her that Thomas would be fine and told her that it wasn’t her fault. He felt like Clyde was responsible for the accident. They talked about Clyde ruining three lives. After Cat left, Sami arrived to surprise EJ. They talked for a bit until she told him that she was throwing Johnny and Chanel a baby shower. She let him know because she didn’t want him to crash the shower. She let him know that she was engaged to Dante Vitali (Ava’s cousin). Sami told him that Dante didn’t know about his mafia family, but EJ felt like he was still dangerous. EJ felt like she was marrying him to prove that she was over him. Sami playfully accused him of being jealous. He bet that she wouldn’t make it down the aisle. Sami told him that his vindictive streak was why he wasn’t invited to the baby shower and why Rafe was the baby’s honorary grandfather.

Thomas didn’t want to go home with Chad. Jennifer said that she would take him. Chad and Jennifer started arguing at the hospital when she threatened to take custody of the kids. He felt like she wanted the kids because she didn’t have her daughter. Chad reminded her that he lost Abby too. He told her that she couldn’t get over her grief by taking his kids. Jennifer defended her actions, and he told her that she wasn’t taking his children. She believed she could convince a judge to let her have the kids. Jennifer said that his son didn’t feel safe with him. Cat saw them arguing about her and how Chad was putting the kids in danger. Philip arrived at the pub and sat with Lucas and Kate. He informed them that he would lose everything if they didn’t turn things around at Titan. Kate refused to let that happen. She talked about loving Victor and having a child with him. Philip reminded her that Vivian gave birth to him. She never wanted to hear Vivian’s name again. Kate walked away from the table. While she was gone, Philip talked to Lucas about the forged letter. Sami talked to EJ about being his worst enemy, and it broke her heart. She wanted him to fix things with their son. Sami didn’t think she would see him again so she said goodbye to him. EJ choked up and said goodbye to her. Chad went to see EJ to get legal advice. He wanted to know if Jennifer had a case against him. EJ warned him that anything was possible. He advised Chad to move back to the mansion to get space from Jennifer. Jennifer went to the Horton house and told Julie that she was hiring Justin. She wanted her support since she planned to sue Chad for custody of the kids.

Kat was upset that Eva called Ted “dad.” She talked to Chelsea and Tomas about it. While they were talking, Eva showed up. Eva and Kat argued with each other. They threatened each other. After they finished arguing, Eva walked away. Tomas told Kat that she was the one in the wrong. He said Eva had a right to have a relationship with Ted. Tomas told Kat that her attitude wasn’t doing anything to help their relationship. While they were talking, Izaiah called and wanted to meet with Tomas. He agreed to meet with Izaiah. While Izaiah was waiting for Tomas, Eva showed up. She talked to him about wanting to have a relationship with Kat and the rest of Ted’s family. Chelsea tried to talk to Kat about Eva but it didn’t do any good. Kat said she would do whatever she had to do to keep Eva out of Ted’s life.

Smitty and Martin argued over Samantha. He told Martin that he would push everyone he loved away if he didn’t change his ways. Martin thought they should take the kids offline. Smitty didn’t agree with that and wanted him to reconsider letting her go back to ChelseaKat. Samantha was with June and hoped she would agree with her. June wasn’t on her side. Samantha asked if she could live with her. June loved the idea of Samantha living with her, but she didn’t think she was in a position to be a full-time mother. She told Samantha about her parents passing away and said it wasn’t too late to make things right with her parents. Later on, Samantha went home and apologized to her parents.

Julie and Marie told Holly and Tate about the Horton family for their school project. Jeremy talked to Mike about Stephanie not trusting him. Mike told him that he worked hard at changing and people would see it soon. They went to the Horton House and joined the documentary Holly and Tate were doing. Mike talked about following in his grandfather’s footsteps and becoming a doctor. Holly asked about Mike’s parents. Julie said Bill and Laura made their mark in the family. Kayla told Chad and Jennifer that Thomas had a mild concussion and a dislocated shoulder. She told them Thomas would be okay. Chad asked to see Thomas. Jennifer said Thomas might not have wanted to see him since the accident was his fault. Chad and Jennifer ended up arguing. He left to go see Thomas. Jennifer talked to Kayla about Chad and Cat. She told Kayla that she couldn’t let it go. When Chad went to see Thomas, he accused Chad of lying to him again about Cat. Chad tried to explain, but Kayla came in to reset Thomas’ shoulder. Chad said he would be there for him, but Thomas wanted his grandmother. Chad wanted to be there, but Kayla told him to give in to Thomas’ request.

When Holly and Tate left the Horton House, Jeremy wanted to know what happened between Bill and Laura. Before Julie and Marie could answer, Jennifer called to tell them about Thomas. Mike went to the hospital. Jeremy wanted to know about his grandparents. They told him that Bill raped Laura while she was married to Mickey. Everything worked out for Bill and Laura and they got married and had a child. Julie told Jeremy that all families had secrets. At the pub, Holly and Tate talked about the Hortons. They talked about their drama being behind them. He said he learned from his mistakes and was going to work hard to make it up to her. Mike and Jennifer saw each other at the hospital. Chad went to the lobby while Jennifer went to see Thomas. He told Mike that Jennifer blamed him for what happened to Thomas. Chad said she might not be wrong. Mike said he heard about what was going on from Jennifer, but he was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Kayla showed up and said Thomas was ready to go. Chad filled out the paperwork. Mike told Kayla that Jeremy was working hard to change. Kayla said only time would tell. Jennifer came back and told Chad about not putting the children first which was why Thomas got hurt. She said he could have been killed. Jennifer said she couldn’t trust him with the children so she was taking Thomas and Charlotte to Boston. She threatened to sue him for custody if he tried to fight her.

Laura has appointed Dante acting police commissioner since Anna and Mac have taken a leave of absence. Dante puts Nathan back on the force since he has a clean phycological evaluation. Dante asks Nathan to keep Chase on the straight and narrow because he believes Willow didn’t shoot Drew and that is his blind spot.

Brook Lynn tells Chase she is worried that he will lose his badge since he is working on his own to try and prove that Willow didn’t shoot Drew. Chase tells Brook Lynn that he has to do this because if he didn’t do something and Willow was wrongfully convicted he would blame himself.

Gio and Emma find Ned outside Bobbie’s Restaurant having a hard time breathing and clutching his chest. Gio starts doing CPR on his grandpa and asks Emma to call 911. Britt arrives to help and takes over CPR and, when the paramedics arrive, Ned is rushed to the hospital.

Lucas and Elizabeth work on Ned and, since the medication isn’t working to help Ned’s heart blockage, Lucas tells Olivia Ned will need bypass surgery.

Emma tells Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco that they can’t break into Henry Dalton ‘s lab tonight because Gio is worried about his grandpa Ned. Charlotte, Danny, and Rocco decide to break into Henry Dalton ‘s lab without Gio and Emma since everyone at PCU will be distracted with the Mayoral Debate.

In Genoa City, Billy promises Sally that he won’t keep any secrets from her and he will concentrate on making her dreams come true.

In Los Angeles, Sharon tells Matt that, if he comes anywhere near her family, she will make him suffer before she kills him.

Nick warns Sienna that the man she knows as Mitch is a very dangerous man named Matt whom he has known since high school. Sienna doesn’t believe Nick, but she talks to Matt later and shows him a picture of his younger self and asks him if he is Matt Clark. Matt continues to deny his true identity. Sienna tells Matt to tell her the truth or she will go to the police. Matt tells Sienna that going to the police would be a bad idea.

Sharon arrives at the hospital and Nick tells her he saw Noah and Sienna kissing. Nick and Sharon tell Noah that Mitch isn’t the person that he thinks he is and tells Noah he needs to stay away from Mitch and Sienna. Nick explains to Noah that Mitch is a man he and Sharon knew from high school who hurt Sharon badly twice. Noah doesn’t believe Sharon and Nick, and he asks them to leave the room because he wants to be alone.

Nikki and Victoria arrive home and tell Victor about Noah’s condition.

Victor tells Nikki and Victoria that Michael is investigating Mitch and Sienna Bacall. Victor tells Nikki that Michael has found an internet presence for Sienna but no internet presence for Mitch.

Victor later tells Nikki that Phyllis stole the AI program from Cane and sold it to him. Victor tells Nikki that he used the AI program against Cane. Nikki is pleased about that but is worried that someone wants to kill Noah. Victor assures Nikki he won’t let that happen.

In Los Angeles, Sienna sneaks past the guard to go into Noah’s room. Noah wants to know if Sienna knows anything about his car accident. Sienna tells Noah the only thing she knows is that he was at the Shadow Room and he told her that he had to go because he had to call Nick because he and Sharon wanted to visit him in Los Angeles .

Matt tells Detective Burrow that he has to get rid of the guard at Noah’s hospital room door.

Sharon goes to the Shadow Room and confronts Matt to ask him what his game is this time and to warn him that she will do whatever it takes to stop him.

Nick gets a call from the security guard he hired who tells him that a woman came to visit Noah and Noah insisted that she stay. Nick is sure that the woman visiting Noah is Sienna so he heads to the hospital to find out why Sienna is visiting Noah. Noah finds a phone number on his phone that called him the day of his accident. Sienna persuades Noah to wait until his parents return to call the number so that he won’t be alone in case the call upsets him. Nick is about to open the door to Noah’s hospital room when he sees Nosh and Sienna kissing.

Gwen wanted to know if EJ had something to do with Tony’s disappearance like they did with Dimitri. EJ didn’t have a problem getting rid of his nephew because he was a con artist, but Tony was his brother. He considered him a friend. EJ didn’t want anything to happen to him. He was confident that Tony would show up for the next spot on the cruise. EJ changed the subject so they could talk about Leo. He thought it was important that Leo be stopped from finding out what they really wanted to do with the clinic. Jennifer wanted to celebrate Thomas getting good grades, but he was grounded. He was upset about it so Jennifer explained to him that it wasn’t okay to hurt people even if you didn’t like them. Gwen arrived while Jennifer was talking to Thomas. Thomas wanted Gwen to join them, but Jennifer didn’t want her to do that. Chad consoled Leo about losing Tesoro. He told him that he came a long way from the person he met. Leo said he would have plotted to get the baby back in the day. Gwen arrived while they were talking. She received a chilly response. Gwen sat at their table. She and Leo reminisced about the old days until he demanded to know what she wanted. Gwen told him that Dimitri was seen in Curacao and wanted his help to track him down. She thought it would be a great story for him. Gwen wondered if he was curious about what Dimitri was doing. Leo didn’t care about Dimitri. She told him that he needed closure. Leo said he had more important things to worry about. Gwen feigned concern for Tesoro. Leo choked up talking about Tesoro.

Abe went to the DiMera mansion to confront EJ about Theo. He assumed that EJ wasn’t happy with Theo running company as he was. Abe wanted EJ’s help to convince Theo that he needed to step down from running DiMera Enterprises. He didn’t want Theo to learn that the DiMeras will eat him alive the way they do with the rest of the family. Chad overheard Cat’s phone call with a doctor. He asked her about it, and she told him that her mother didn’t recognize Mark. It turned out that she might suffer from early on-set dementia. Chad hugged her when Jennifer and Thomas showed up. Cat walked away from him. Thomas yelled at Chad for caring about her. He ran off and there were screeching tires coming towards Thomas. Chad and Jennifer called out to Thomas.

At the hospital, Shanice talked to Ted about Carlton. She wondered if he would be able to handle being partners with Carlton if he pursued Nicole. They started flirting with each other. Eva showed up and noticed something going on between them. A man needed to get surgery but didn’t have insurance. Eva suggested that Leslie would help the man because she knew what it was like to be in that situation. When Eva told Ted and Shanice that Leslie would help, Kat overheard Eva call Ted “dad.” Kat was upset and walked away. Nicole saw the incident and let Kat know that it was Ted’s situation to handle. Martin ripped into Kat for talking about sex in front of Samantha. He said the conversation made Samantha want to have sex with Nathan. Kat was shocked that Samantha did that. When Kat tried to explain herself, Martin didn’t want to hear it. He called her a bad influence and said Samantha wouldn’t be working for Chelsea Kat. When Martin got home, he told Samantha the news. Martin and Samantha got into a heated argument which led to her saying she was moving out.

EJ talked to Gwen about not being able to meet his new grandchild. Gwen started to talk about her own family problems. She told him that the Hortons were going to be in town. The Bradys and Blacks were going to be in town too. They were going to do a tribute to John. EJ felt like it would be a bunch of holier than thou people there. He felt like the more PR for the hospital, the better. Gwen thought that it was an excuse to get Sami back to town. EJ scoffed at the idea of that. Gwen was amazed at Sami’s ability to hold a grudge. EJ felt like it wasn’t her business and wanted to talk about their business deal with the hospital. He wanted to know if she had a plan to smuggle the supplies from prying eyes. Gwen thought they had everything they needed. Gabi found Javi at home and confessed to him that he got his company back as a consolation prize for not running DiMera Enterprises. Tony screwed her out of running the company after she helped him get the company back. She also told Javi that she was seeing Philip. Gabi told him that she would lose Philip if he found out what she did to help Tony. Javi thought she should tell Philip the truth. Gabi thought it was a bad idea and didn’t want anyone to find out about it.

Theo met with EJ after talking to the guy that Tony was supposed to meet in Athens. The guy told Theo that his meeting with Tony didn’t last long. Anna said that was the reason why Tony didn’t make it to the ship. Tony had time to make it to the ship. EJ wondered where Tony could be. He was confident that Tony would make it to the next stop on the cruise. EJ offered to help Theo run the company in Tony’s absence. Theo believed he could take care of the business. He left the mansion. Paulina showed Roman and Abe pictures of Johnny and Chanel’s son. They toast their new family and look forward to the family coming home for the gala. Abe made a smart comment to Paulina before he left to tutor Liam. Paulina confided in Roman that Abe was upset with her for supporting Theo wanting to work for DiMera Enterprises. Since Roman had experience with the DiMeras, he sided with Abe. Liam stood Abe up. Abe ran into Theo at the town square. Theo updated him about what happened to Tony. He told him that EJ offered to help run the company with him, but he turned him down. Abe didn’t feel comforted by that news. Gwen wondered if EJ had anything to do with Tony’s disappearance. She revealed that they were responsible for Dimitri’s disappearance so she wondered if he did that again with Tony.

Naomi and Jacob spent time together. While they were out, they saw Derek drinking. Naomi was upset that Jacob and Derek kept quiet about Derek’s secret. She left to comfort Ashley. While they were talking, Naomi asked Ashley about her feelings for Andre. Naomi warned Ashley not to do the same thing as Hayley and hurt Dani. Ashley texted Andre so they could talk. Dani and Andre talked about their relationship. She suggested that while they were doing the shoot for Forrester Creations, they get real wedding rings. Later on, Andre met with Ashley. She told him that she wanted to be with him. Andre told her that he was falling in love with Dani. Izaiah went to the casino to talk to Joey. While they were talking, it was revealed that Joey was divorced. Later on, Joey told Vanessa that no one needed to know about his connection with Izaiah. Izaiah met up with Jacob and found out their father had a heart attack and no one told him. Things became tense between them.

Jack tells Laura that Anna called him and told him that she is on a WSB assignment and she doesn’t know when she will return to Port Charles.

Carly visits Valentin in prison and tells him she persuaded Jack to move him to a prison in the United States. Valentin tells Carly to be careful with Jack because, if he figures out that she knows Josslynn is a WSB agent, he will make Josslynn disappear and hurt Charlotte.

Lucas moves into Wyndamere with Marco and his dad Jens Siddwell.

Emma and Charlotte are determined to get the key to Henry Dalton’s lab tonight while everyone is at the Mayoral debate at the university.

Sonny and Jason are planning to kill Sidwell but only as a last resort.

Jack tells Josslynn to make sure her Uncle Lucas can confide in her just in case Marco knows anything about whether Sidwell is working on Faison’s final project.
