Jada arrested Johnny in the town square. EJ yelled at Jada for arresting Johnny. Chanel came out of the bakery and wanted to know what was going on. When Johnny tried to answer, EJ told him not to say anything. EJ threatened Jada if she arrested Johnny. He said Johnny was innocent and she was going to treat him accordingly. EJ lied to Jada and said Johnny gave him the gun, but Jada didn’t believe him. She suggested that he get a lawyer. Jada took Johnny away. Chanel wanted EJ to tell her what was going on. EJ told her about their talk and what he remembered about that night. He blamed Rafe for what happened to Johnny. When Rafe went home, Gabi grilled him about Johnny. Rafe told her what Johnny told him, but he believed Johnny was innocent. Gabi didn’t believe it. Rafe said he told Jada. She said she hoped he was right about Johnny being innocent or she would feel EJ’s wrath for testifying against Johnny. Jada called Rafe to tell him what happened. Rafe rushed out.

Belle ripped into Paulina for having Johnny arrested right away instead of having him brought in for questioning. Paulina said they couldn’t dance around the situation or it would look like they were giving him special treatment from his family. Belle realized Paulina’s was right but wished they could have let everyone know what was going on first. Paulina said she wasn’t sure Johnny was innocent because she remembered Johnny’s reaction to EJ being shot. Belle said she believed him. She got a text saying it was done and that Jada was bringing Johnny in. Paulina told Belle that she had to let justice take its course without interference. She took Belle off the case. Belle said she understood. Paulina didn’t want Belle to interfere in the case. Jada and the police brought Johnny into the police station. Belle apologized for what happened. Rafe showed up and said he was upset with Jada. She told Rafe to stay out of it and let Johnny know that he could call his lawyer after he was booked. EJ came in and said he was Johnny’s lawyer. Chanel showed up and said she loved Johnny. Johnny was taken to booking. A frustrated EJ was upset with Belle for letting this happen. Chanel asked Paulina to do something but was furious when Paulina said she gave the order to have Johnny arrested. Chanel left the police station. Rafe and Jada argued over Johnny’s arrest. When Rafe left, Paulina showed up. She asked Jada if she thought Johnny was innocent. Jada said he had the means, motive, and opportunity. At the town square, EJ asked Belle about betraying him. Belle said she didn’t know Paulina was going to have Johnny arrested. EJ said she was going to get back on the case and have the charges dropped. He said he would make it happen. EJ said he thought Johnny shot him, but he didn’t think it anymore. Belle said she didn’t know how they were going to prove Johnny’s innocence. EJ apologized to Belle for getting upset. When Belle left, EJ got on the phone and called to speak to the judge. Marlena went to the pub. Roman knew she was worried about Johnny. He said Carrie told him Johnny’s best bet was to turn himself in. Marlena hesitated about Johnny turning himself in, but Roman said it would be better than having the police find out. While they were talking, Belle sent Marlena a text telling her that Johnny was arrested. Marlena wanted to go to Johnny, but Roman said he was still being processed. He said they could go after Johnny was processed. Roman said he was worried that the police had evidence against Johnny. Marlena reminded him that he had the gun that may have been used to shoot EJ. Roman didn’t care. He thought it was time to tell the police what he knew. Paulina made arrangements so Chanel could see Johnny. When Chanel was able to see Johnny, he told her he didn’t shoot EJ. Chanel said she believed him but wondered why he lied about everything. Johnny said he was in a horrible place and was worried that things were out of control and he could go down for something he didn’t do. Roman showed up at the police station and gave his gun to Jada and Paulina. He said he believed it was used to shoot EJ. Johnny was in his cell and thought about the things he said to his father.

Tate was excited at the idea of the baby kicking. He realized he would miss feeling it. Sophia wouldn’t miss getting kicked in her ribs. She was tired of being pregnant and was ready to move on with her life. Tate reminded her that they had to find adoptive parents first. She said she found an attorney who could help. Tate wanted to find parents who would give their baby a great life. He pictured what the baby’s life would be like. Sophia didn’t want to think about it. Amy went in Sophia’s room and invited her to see a movie. Sophia didn’t want to go. Amy left the room, but she left the door open. Sophia told Tate that her mother didn’t want them making another baby. He wondered if Amy thought they were together. Sophia ducked his question and asked about Holly. He hadn’t heard from her since their graduation. Sophia told him that she saw her helping Doug get his GED. She drove it home that they were close to each other. Rachel was having a game night with Brady when Marlena called him to tell him what happened to Johnny. Brady wanted Rachel to tell the truth if the police questioned her. Kristen showed up at the townhouse to tell Rachel about her grandmother. She wanted Rachel to write her grandmother a letter. Brady told Kristen about Johnny getting arrested. They argued about telling Rachel about Johnny’s arrest. Kristen thought EJ would hurt Rachel. Brady didn’t think EJ would hurt Rachel especially since Johnny said he was innocent. They started arguing again, but Rachel heard them. She demanded that they stop arguing. Rachel ordered them to apologize to each other. She wanted them to watch a scary movie together. Rachel wanted to stay at the townhouse for a few days and wanted Kristen to stay too. Tate arrived and saw them together. Rachel wanted him to watch the movie with them. Brady talked to Tate about Johnny and Sophia. Tate told him that Sophia hadn’t had Braxton Hicks since the prom.

Sophia was in her room and became uncomfortable. She doubled over in pain. Sophia realized that her water broke. She was going to call the hospital, but she was in pain. The phone fell out of her hand. Chanel went to see Johnny at the police station. She told him that Paulina got him arraigned, but she didn’t stop the arrest in the first place. Johnny didn’t blame Paulina for doing her job. He wanted to thank her for getting the secret out after all. The secret was weighing on him for a while. Chanel reminded him that he walked away without hurting EJ. EJ walked in while she was talking and agreed with her. He let Johnny know that he talked to the judge, and he could be his lawyer. Chanel didn’t like the idea because it was a conflict of interest. EJ let her know that the judge didn’t think that was the case. He wanted her to keep her opinions to herself. EJ felt like it would help Johnny if his alleged victim represented him. Despite the way Chanel felt about it, Johnny hired EJ as his attorney. She eventually caved and agreed to EJ being his lawyer. She wanted him to focus on making bail. Chanel left Johnny, and confronted EJ. She let him know that she didn’t approve of him, but she realized they needed a shark. Chanel warned EJ not to make Johnny choose between them because he was going to regret it. After Johnny’s arraignment, EJ planned to pay Johnny’s bail. Unfortunately, Chanel beat him to it by bailing Johnny out. She gave EJ a smug look and he was upset.

Rafe met with Johnny in the park. He stressed how much he cared about Johnny. Rafe asked him if he had an argument with EJ when he was shot. Johnny told him that he didn’t shoot his father. Rafe just wanted to know if he was at the mansion the night EJ was shot. Johnny let it slip that he was there. He said that whoever heard him arguing with his father was there too and could have shot his father. Rafe told Johnny that he could trust him. Johnny said that he was either a cop or an agent. Rafe wanted to go to the police with Johnny cooperating. He wanted to help Johnny. He called Jada because he wanted to meet with her. Rafe wanted to talk off the record about EJ’s shooting. They agreed to meet at the station. EJ met with Kayla at the hospital to talk about the board wanting to do another vote. She refused to give into his demands. EJ threatened to sue her. She told him that Titan/DiMera could do the same thing, so they were doing the vote. The results would be ready later. If he wanted her vote, EJ had to do something about the hospital budget. EJ wondered if she was trying to extort him. She said she wasn’t doing that. Kayla wanted him to make her happy. EJ went to the town square and ran into Johnny. He noticed something was wrong with Johnny. Johnny told him about his conversation with Rafe. EJ wasn’t happy about it. He said he would keep him safe because Rafe couldn’t be trusted. EJ said that no one had to know that he shot him. Johnny was confused. He said that he didn’t shoot him. The men became emotional when Johnny told him what happened. EJ told him to give him the gun. Johnny realized that he was protecting him from attempted murder. EJ hugged Johnny.

Xander went to see Philip at the hospital. He brought flowers for him. Philip didn’t think they were right after what Xander did to him. Xander tried to play dumb about the situation. Philip knew what he was up to when he woke up. He was about to push the call button, but Xander said he wasn’t trying to kill him. Xander admitted that he wanted to kill him that day, but he couldn’t go through with it. Kayla walked in while Xander was talking. She wanted to know why Philip pressed the call button. Philip lied about why he pressed it. He wanted to know when he was going to leave. She told him that he could leave the next day since he recovered quicker than she thought. Philip and Xander assured her that things were good between them. Kayla left the room. Philip threatened Xander. He told him that if he attacked him or anyone else again, he would put him away. Philip wasn’t worried about what would happen to him. Xander apologized for what he did. If Titan went under, he wouldn’t have any reason not to tell people. He told Xander to fix what happened at the hospital. Xander was confident Titan would win the hospital vote. He thought they should find a way to stay out of each other’s way. Philip promised that no one would know what happened with them. Johnny couldn’t believe that EJ would stand by his side after what he thought he did. EJ told him that he was he son. They said they loved each other. EJ wondered who shot him if Johnny didn’t do it. Xander went to Kayla’s office. She told him that the board voted for EJ. Rita called EJ to let him know that he won the vote. Johnny was happy for his father. Jada arrived with a cop to arrest Johnny for trying to kill EJ.

Belle and Brady talked about Paul and Andrew’s wedding being good for Marlena and Rachel. Speaking of Rachel, they talked about everything she went through lately. Brady said that Rachel Blake was found because EJ agreed to free her after making a deal. Johnny thought about what happened when EJ was shot. He stressed that he wasn’t responsible. Johnny said there was a bullet missing from the gun. Roman and Marlena told him that there wasn’t a bullet missing. Johnny got a text about a meeting. Roman wanted him to deal with the meeting. He and Marlena would figure things out. After Roman and Marlena talked about Johnny’s situation. Marlena was worried about Johnny, but Roman felt like he was doing better. Roman wanted to come up with a way to help him. Kate walked in the room while they were talking. She let Marlena know that they were all there for Johnny. Marlena left the house. Kate let Roman know that she didn’t mind him helping Marlena. She wanted him to be there for Marlena. Kate advised Roman to get a lawyer for Johnny. Roman wished Johnny talked to them sooner. Kate mentioned that Philip won’t tell the truth about Xander. Roman warned her that Philip and Xander would go down for it so it would be better if the situation were dropped. Kate refused to let it drop because Xander almost killed her son. She wanted to make him pay for what he did. EJ informed Kayla that the board couldn’t do another vote because Xander got exonerated. Kayla hung up the phone while he was talking. Belle arrived at the DiMera mansion to find out EJ’s role in Rachel Blake being found. He wanted to talk off the record. EJ told her about the deal he and Kristen made. Belle decided to drop the subject. EJ was upset that the hospital board wanted to do another vote. Belle would have put Xander in prison, but Philip wasn’t cooperating. She warned him that the police knew about the camera and that the memory card was missing. Belle thought the memory card would show who shot him. EJ thought it was gone forever. He changed the subject, and they started flirting with each other.

Sarah and Xander had a face off at the town square. He wanted to see Victoria, but she refused to give in to him. Xander warned her that they were going to fight in court. Sarah told him that there’s no judge who would give him full custody. Xander threatened to pull out the big guns if he needed to do it. Sarah wanted to know what he meant by that. He hoped she didn’t have to find out. They talked about who would keep Victoria from the other. Xander and Sarah didn’t want to co-parent. Unfortunately, they would have to share custody at some point. They argued about what happened to Philip. Xander threw Sarah’s lies in her face. They got to the point where they were yelling. Maggie and Julie heard them and rushed to them. Julie told him to stay away from Sarah. Sarah told them that Xander wanted to sue for custody. Julie was surprised they were back together. Sarah told her they were never getting back together. She walked away. Maggie gave Xander a piece of her mind. Xander told her that he was exonerated and that was why the hospital board was going to vote again. He hoped Maggie and Julie would vote for him. Maggie wanted to do the right thing. Julie was going to do what’s best for the hospital. He wished them a good day and walked away. Marlena ran into Brady outside of the pub. She wanted to know why she had to find out from Rachel about Johnny. Marlena told him about the people who knew about it. They didn’t think it was worth the trauma. Marlena realized that EJ believed that Johnny shot him. Johnny told her that he didn’t do it. Brady wondered who did it if Johnny didn’t. Marlena wasn’t EJ’s biggest fan, but she felt he deserved to know that his son didn’t shoot him. Brady thought it would help Rachel. He thought Rachel wouldn’t have to testify if Johnny came forward. Marlena didn’t think they should dip their hands just yet. Sarah met with Brady at the pub. She let Marlena know that her bloodwork came back normal. Sarah told her that she could come to her anytime. Marlena thanked her and left. Gabi and Johnny were supposed to meet. She wanted to reschedule the meeting, but he changed something important to be there. They were under pressure so they began working on the campaign. Johnny had an idea for the campaign, but it triggered a memory for Gabi. She thought about the night she heard Johnny arguing with EJ. Marlena went to the townhouse and sat on the couch. She looked at John’s last message to her. Marlena told him that she loved him too. Brady thanked Sarah for helping Rachel. Sarah told him that she adored her. Brady remembered how she raised Rachel for a year. Sarah was okay. She didn’t think Rachel ever needed to know about it. Xander walked into the pub, and Sarah thought he was stalking her. Brady offered to help, but she was able to handle it. He left the table. Xander asked to see Victoria. Sarah agreed to let him see her. She smiled while he was playing with Victoria. After Gabi had the flashback, she told Johnny that she had a headache. He agreed to reschedule the meeting. Gabi called Rafe and told him that Johnny was the one who shot EJ.

Marlena wanted to talk to Roman about Johnny shooting EJ. She wondered if he already knew that Johnny shot him. Roman asked what she knew about it. Marlena told him about Rachel’s nightmare and that she remembered Johnny and EJ arguing that night. She said when Rachel went to find out what happened, she saw Johnny pointing a gun at EJ. Roman told her about his gun being missing around the time Johnny found out what EJ did to his mother. Marlena asked if he was telling her that Johnny used his gun to shoot EJ. Roman said when he found his gun missing, he went to the DiMera mansion to stop him. He said he found the gun outside. Roman said he heard the sirens and realized something happened. He said he took the gun and confronted Johnny about his suspicions, but Johnny said he didn’t shoot EJ. Roman said there was a bullet missing in the gun. Marlena said Rachel talked to Kristen about her dream and she told her to keep quiet about it or her grandmother would go to jail. She thought one of them told Brady about it. Roman said he told Kate. He wondered what they should do. Marlena wanted to talk to Johnny before they did anything. Roman sent Johnny a text. Sophia met with Melinda and told her that her mother and Tate didn’t want to hire her. She said she wanted to hire Melinda. Sophia said they were running out of time and she needed someone to adopt her baby before she gave birth. Melinda thought Tate didn’t know about the meeting. Sophia said he didn’t know about it and didn’t care if he did. She said she needed Melinda’s help.

At the hospital, Stephanie talked to Sarah about the forged letter. Sarah said Xander knew about the letter and that she kept it from him. She wasn’t sure who said something to Xander and ruined her marriage. Stephanie said she didn’t say anything. Sarah said she didn’t think she or Alex said anything. She said Philip said he didn’t say anything to Xander, but she didn’t believe him. Sarah said she didn’t believe Philip when he said Xander didn’t attack him. Stephanie said Xander could have used Philip’s inheritance to keep him quiet. Sarah said there was no proof of that. She said Stephanie could get the truth out of Philip. Stephanie warned her that if she got the truth out of Philip, Xander could go to prison for a long time. Sarah said if Xander attacked Philip, he deserved to go to prison. Philip had a nightmare about Xander attacking him. After he woke up, he read an article about Xander being exonerated for attacking him. Brady showed up to see Philip. Philip told him he was sorry to hear about John. He told Brady that Bo came to see him before he left town. Brady said Bo’s recovery wasn’t the only good news. He said it was good knowing that Xander didn’t attack him. Brady said they were all family despite everything they have done to each other. He said he couldn’t bear to lose anyone else. Philip said he understood since he lost his father not too long ago. When Stephanie showed up, Brady left. Philip wondered why Stephanie was there and assumed it was about the attack and if he lied about Xander attacking him. He asked her why he would lie about Xander attacking him. Stephanie said to keep his inheritance. Philip said he had pride. Stephanie asked if he told Xander about the forged letter. Philip said he didn’t say anything about the letter. After Stephanie finished talked to Philip, she told Sarah that he stuck to the same story. Sarah thanked her for trying and left to check on a patient. Brady ran into Melinda in the town square. She offered her condolences about his father. Brady said he knew she was trying to get involved in Tate’s baby’s adoption. Melinda told her that Sophia came to her. Brady said he didn’t care and was glad that Tate stopped it since the family didn’t trust her. He said he wouldn’t forget what she did to Eric and Nicole and warned her to stay away from his family. Brady walked off. Johnny went to work and found out the company was in trouble. Alex told him Xander sold many assets to get the hospital only for EJ to get it. He said the company was in a vulnerable spot. Johnny wondered if the company was in trouble. Xander showed up and said they weren’t. He said EJ would be going down. Xander said he could get the first vote for the hospital overturned since it was done based on his false arrest. Alex and Johnny said they were in. Johnny looked at Roman’s text and left. Xander met with Melinda to tell her the wanted to fight for full custody of Victoria. Melinda let him know that the judge would most likely give them joint custody. She said there was no way he would get full custody. Xander thought she could do something outside of the box. Melinda wondered if he wanted her to break the law. Xander said he knew Sarah wouldn’t do it. Sarah called Justin who told her the same thing Melinda told Xander about co-parenting. She told him she wanted full custody, but Justin said she wouldn’t get it. Johnny met with Roman and Marlena. She said they wanted to help him, but he had to tell them the truth. Roman wanted him to tell them what happened the night EJ was shot. Johnny said he took the gun. Roman asked why he didn’t say anything sooner. Johnny said he wasn’t ready to admit what he did. He was shocked when Roman said he found the gun. Johnny said he didn’t leave the gun there. Marlena asked what happened. Johnny said he confronted his father and pointed the gun at him. He said EJ asked what he was doing and he didn’t know. Johnny said he felt like he was about to explode and felt his finger on the trigger. He said he felt like he was going to pull the trigger. Johnny said he remembered EJ said he never meant to hurt him. He said EJ asked for the gun and he gave it to him and that was the last time he saw him. Johnny said he felt bad about wanting to shoot his father. He said he was glad he could talk about it. Roman wondered who put the gun in the planter. Marlena thought EJ might have done it. Roman said that didn’t explain the missing bullet. Johnny said he didn’t hear about a missing bullet because he never pulled the trigger. They wondered who shot EJ.

Everyone was getting ready for Andrew and Paul’s wedding. Eric admitted to Brady that he never officiated a same-sex wedding before. Brady was proud to be Paul’s best man. He wished John could be there to see it. Brady told him that he didn’t believe that Xander didn’t beat up Philip. He talked to Eric about running into Nicole. Brady noticed that he and Nicole have been evasive about what’s going on between them. Eric didn’t know where things stood with them. Paul admitted to Andrew that he was concerned about their future. They would be dealing with a lot of traveling throughout their relationship. Paul didn’t like how Andrew’s job put him in danger. Andew assured him that they would have a long life together. He gave Paul a gift from Marlena. It was John’s wristwatch. Rachel told Marlena that she didn’t sleep well. Marlena said that she heard her tell someone not to shoot. She wondered if Rachel wanted to tell her about her nightmare. Rachel told her that Kristen said not to tell anyone about her dream. Marlena became more concerned about it. Rachel admitted that she knew who shot her uncle. She told her that Johnny shot EJ. Shane talked with Tate about Sophia and the baby. They discussed how Tate felt about everything. Shane wondered if he was having second thoughts about giving the baby up for adoption. Tate didn’t have any regrets about it because he and Sophia were too young to be parents. He didn’t want the baby to feel abandoned. They talked about Eve and what she went through when she felt rejected. Shane let him know that it was a different situation and that they were doing the right thing. Carrie was worried about Belle and her relationship with EJ. Belle let her know that she was going to follow her heart where EJ was concerned. Will joined them and said that Sonny couldn’t make the wedding.

Marlena and Rachel went to Andrew and Paul’s wedding. She wanted to tell Brady what Rachel told her, but he was called away. Marlena called Roman to let him know they needed to talk after the ceremony. Everyone arrived at Paul and Andrew’s wedding. Kayla wanted to be a substitute mother for Andrew since Kimberly couldn’t be there. Paul asked Marlena if she wanted the watch back after the wedding. Marlena said it brought her joy that he was wearing something of John’s on his special day. Andrew and Paul exchanged their vows to each other. Brady gathered everyone for a toast after the ceremony. He said he was the cool one in the family until Paul arrived in Salem. Shane talked about Andrew being his pride and joy. Rachel got bored at the ceremony. Carrie told everyone that she was leaving town, but she wanted to say goodbye to Roman before she left. Shane suggested that Paul join the ISA after their honeymoon so he and Andrew could be in Washington. Marlena thanked Paul and Andrew for not postponing the wedding. She felt like they needed some joy. They felt like John was looking down on them. Everyone looked up and saw a rainbow.

Rita went to the DiMera mansion and gave EJ the memory card. Tony showed up while Rita was there. He said he knew what was going on. When Rita left, Tony told EJ that he could talk to him if he was in trouble. EJ said Johnny was the one in trouble. He told Tony what was on the memory card. Tony was shocked about what happened. He said he understood why Johnny would be angry about what EJ did to Sami but that didn’t mean Johnny tried to shoot him. EJ said he was going to protect Johnny. Tony said he would protect him too. Chad and Gabi met at the Bistro for dinner. He was curious as to why she wanted to meet with him. She said she wanted to talk to him about his birthright and thought he was the perfect DiMera to get the company back. Chad said he wasn’t interested and said it was a front for illegal activity. He said the business existed for his family’s schemes. Gabi said she reached her limit with the Kiriakis family, but she couldn’t get out of her contract. She said the company was about to implode. If it did, Gabi said his children’s futures would blow up. She advised him to step up to the plate. While she was talking, Chad took a call from Leo. While they were talking, they talked about Chad’s date with Cat. Gabi said she wasn’t judging him, but she wanted to know what’s going on between him and Cat. Chad said the more he learned about Cat the more he liked her. Gabi wondered if he actually liked Cat to which Chad said they were just friends. While they were talking, EJ and Tony showed up. Tony invited Gabi to eat with them to which she said she had to leave. Before Gabi left, Tony asked if she heard from Stefan. Gabi said she hadn’t heard from him since he left Salem.

Jack, Jennifer, JJ, and Thomas played Monopoly. Thomas was upset that it would be the last time they had fun in a while. Jennifer and Jack said they would be back to visit often. Thomas was happy that they were coming back to visit but thought they were coming back for something else. JJ wondered what was going on. When Thomas left the room, Jack told JJ Jennifer wanted to keep an eye on Cat. JJ wondered why Jennifer wanted to keep an eye on Cat. When Jack told him, JJ said he would keep an eye on Cat. During the game, Thomas blurted out that Gabi broke up with JJ. A surprised Jennifer said she didn’t know JJ was seeing Gabi. Jennifer reminded JJ of the things Gabi has done. JJ said that was why he didn’t say anything. He said he didn’t matter that he was dating Gabi since they weren’t together anymore. Cat ran into Shane at the town square. He referred to himself as her old boss and said he wanted to make sure his employee stayed on her toes. Cat corrected him and said she was a former employee. She said she was an analyst and wasn’t a field agent. Shane said he wanted her back and that she didn’t have a choice. He said she would come back on her own. She reminded him that her investigation led to her father dying and mother getting brainwashed. Cat said her services were done because she didn’t want to end up like John. Shane told her the world was more dangerous with John gone. He said that was why he needed her. Shane said her personal connection to the case was another reason why he needed her. He said since she was working with Marlena it made her the perfect person to find EJ’s partner and take down the DiMera Enterprise. Shane thought EJ was planning something besides making money off of the Versavix drug. Cat said she would listen out and report anything she finds out. Shane was glad she agreed. Cat said she was done after that assignment. EJ, Tony, and Chad made a toast to their father. Tony brought up how their company was taken. He said the family needed to unite in order to get the company back. EJ wasn’t interested since the company gave him problems. He said his future was with the hospital and fixing things with Johnny. Chad said he wanted to focus on the paper. When Tony was alone, he called Anna and said it was up to him to get the company back.

Holly went to the high school for graduation. She ran into Tate. Aaron and Sophia showed up to congratulate Holly for making salutatorian. While Holly and Tate were talking, Sophia said she thought she was in labor. Tate and Sophia rushed out. Aaron noticed that Holly seemed nervous. Holly said she was nervous because Tate and Sophia haven’t found adoptive parents for their baby. When EJ walked into the living room at the DiMera mansion, Brady was there. Brady said he was there to pick up Rachel for Tate’s graduation. While they were talking, EJ said Kristen was getting her mother back to Aremid. Brady said EJ let her go to cover up for how Johnny tried to kill him. EJ was upset that Kristen told Brady about the deal. He tried to appeal to Brady as a father by saying he was trying to protect his son. When Rachel walked in, she heard Brady say she was being traumatized. Brady took her to the doctor when she said she threw up. Chanel went to see EJ to yell at him about Johnny. She said it was EJ’s fault that Johnny didn’t think he could be a good father. Chanel said her life was turned upside down because of him. EJ reminded her that he and Johnny were bound by blood. Chanel warned him to stay away from Johnny.

At the hospital, Marlena told Sarah about her dizzy spells. She told Sarah that she hadn’t be eating well and was exhausted. Marlena told Sarah that she was stressing over John being missing. Sarah wanted to run some tests anyway. When the results were done, Sarah told Marlena that everything looked good, but she wanted to run some more tests. Marlena said her diagnosis was grief. Sarah asked if Marlena had a therapist she trusted enough to talk to. Marlena said she knew they were out there, but she never made a commitment to any of them. She offered to help Sarah talk about what she’s going through with Xander. Before Sarah could say anything, Brady and Rachel showed up. Brady told them that Rachel threw up. Sarah said she would examine Rachel. Marlena said she would watch Rachel so he wouldn’t miss Tate’s graduation. Before Brady could leave, Tate, Sophia, and Amy showed up and said Sophia was having the baby. Rachel told Sarah that her stomach hurt all the time. She said it only felt better when she wasn’t thinking about it. Sarah asked if something was bothering her. She said whatever Rachel said would stay between them. Rachel said she hears and sees things she shouldn’t sometimes. They were interrupted when a nurse said a woman went into labor. Rachel said she felt better with Sarah. When Rachel was gone, Brady asked Sarah what was wrong with Rachel. Sarah said it was more psychological than physical. Marlena took Rachel home for a girls’ night. Sarah examined Sophia and tried to get her to relax since her blood pressure was high. When she asked Sophia if anything was bothering her, Sophia said she was worried that they haven’t found parents for the baby. She said she was worried that Tate will fall in love with the baby and not want to give it up. Later on, Sophia found out she wasn’t in labor. When EJ was alone, he called Rita and said he needed the memory stick back that he gave her.
