The writers honored Deidre Hall’s 50-year anniversary. She was on the show for a long time so it made sense to honor her. The writers found a way to show the flashbacks by having her tell the story to Paul. It allowed the viewers to learn her story with flashbacks. We got a chance to see scenes that we didn’t see before. The writers did an excellent job including scenes with Samantha, Mickey, Don, and the baby she lost. We were moved to see her reaction to losing her baby. She talked about her time with Roman. The flashbacks were from the time Drake Hogestyn played him, but they didn’t forget her time with him. We thought the scenes would be boring, but they were good.

EJ found out the truth about Kristen getting Sophia to kill Johnny. Kristen kept walking around like she was untouchable so she needed a fall from grace. EJ yelled at her for what she did to Johnny. We were glued to our seats while he screamed at her. EJ needs to go after her because she shouldn’t have tried to kill Johnny. Johnny had nothing to do with what happened to Rachel. Rachel was committed because of her actions so Kristen didn’t have to go after Johnny. Sophia could have killed everyone in the building because of Kristen.

Are we the only ones who don’t care about what happened to Destiny? We don’t want anyone to die, but we couldn’t care less about Destiny, or her sister. The writers shouldn’t force a story where there isn’t one. We feel like we could speak for the viewers when we say that it’s a story they need to wrap up quickly. The writers are breaking a major rule by forcing a new character down our throats. They are talking about a character that we don’t know anything about and making her overdose a major thing. The story is fast-forward material. They can add different characters in the story, and it will be a boring story. For some reason, the writers are trying to make it seem like EJ is the one behind the overdoses in Salem. Kristen was in charge of the company when the drugs were given out so she is the one who should get caught for it.

Speaking of EJ, Johnny doesn’t have any loyalty to his father. It didn’t take long for Johnny to turn on his father. He was too willing to go behind EJ’s back and investigate him because Brady and Steve wanted him to do it. If the shoe were on the other foot, he would be upset if EJ went behind his back and questioned him.

We’re torn about Theo’s outburst on Gabi. Gabi apologized to him for accusing him of telling her secret to Philip. He clearly expected her to walk on broken glass before she would forgive her. Theo yelled at her for everything that happened. She tried to explain why she acted the way she did, but he wouldn’t listen to her. Theo didn’t have to be so bitter towards her. It was painful to watch them. On the other hand, Gabi blew any chance of them getting along when she told him that she was giving her inheritance to Titan. What made her think that he would be happy about that? The families are feuding so he wouldn’t want her to give the money away.

Speaking of Gabi, she found out the hard way that her money can’t buy everything. She paid Liam to go away and she quickly regretted it. Arianna ripped into her for trying to run her life. We get that Gabi wanted to protect her daughter, but she didn’t have the right to pay him to stay away from her daughter. Gabi needs to stop throwing her weight around because she’s not the boss that she thinks she is. Her daughter knocked her down to size when she found out the truth.
