Reliving Barbara’s suicide made Anita convinced not to do the reunion. Vernon thought she wanted to do it deep down inside. He felt like she should do it even if there’s a small part of her that wanted to do it. She told him that she left the group right after Barbara’s suicide. They were supposed to take a break from the group but that’s when Anita decided to go solo. She made her break permanent. Sharon was upset when Tracey told her that Anita didn’t want to do the reunion anymore. Sharon didn’t want to take that decision without confronting Anita. They decided to go to Anita’s house for answers. Laura went to the office and got a surprise. Nicole, Kat, and Mona surprised her with a party. The ladies talked about Eva. Kat felt like Eva worked with Leslie to take Laura’s job from her. Nicole and Laura defended Eva. They didn’t think she was anything like her mother. Kat stressed that she had her own opinion about Eva. She thought her opinion was right. Ted and Eva bonded at Uptown. She told him about her job at the salon and that Samantha was one of her regular customers. Eva did miss working for Nicole. She enjoyed the job more than she thought she would. Ted understood how she felt since she got close to the family in a short amount of time. He took responsibility for his role in his affair. Ted was the one who was married and not Leslie. Eva took responsibility too. She couldn’t blame her mother for everything that went wrong in her life. Eva got a text so she left the table. She had an awkward encounter with Nicole. Nicole and Ted were alone and had an awkward conversation.

Sharon was ready to argue with Anita, but she wasn’t in the mood. She wanted Sharon to take her negativity somewhere else. Vernon decided to give them some time to talk. Tracey wanted the ladies to use their words and not their fists. Anita finally put the women in their place. She called them out for not leaving when Dante fired Barbara, but they didn’t. Anita reminded them how they were on the stage and took their bows as well as their checks. She wasn’t the only one who wanted to be successful. Anita refused to be the only villain. Sharon wanted to tell Anita that she was ready for the reunion, but she was too heated to hear it. Anita announced that the reunion was as dead as Barbara and nothing would work to get them back together. She kicked them out and cried on the couch. Leslie wondered where Eva hid her helmet and gloves when Jacob showed up at her place. He let her know that he had a warrant to search her place. She allowed him to search her place. Leslie flirted with him while he tried to investigate her place. Turning up empty-handed, Jacob left her apartment. He promised that he would get her eventually. After Jacob left, she made a promise to make Jacob and the police department pay for harassing her. Kat met with Jacob after he left Leslie’s place. She thought that Eva had the evidence for Leslie. He wanted her to give it a rest. Leslie went to see Ted at Uptown and interrupted his conversation with Nicole. She ordered him to stop the police from harassing her if he didn’t want any trouble.

Anita to Vernon that she wanted to tell him the truth about the fourth member of the Articulettes. She said she planned on taking the secret to her grave. Anita told him about Barbara and how she brought them together and kept them together. They were sisters forever until she met Dante. She said Dante saw them as diamonds in the rough but felt that Barbara couldn’t be made over like the other women. Vernon said her decision was self-serving, but most people were at her age. He said her role wasn’t unforgivable. Anita said his kind words were why she didn’t tell him sooner. She said she didn’t want to feel better about it and wanted to stew in her misery. Anita blamed herself for what happened to Barbara. She said gave Barbara’s family money, but the money couldn’t replace Barbara. Anita said there wouldn’t be a reunion. Vernon said he understood but felt that it was time to move. He said he was there for her and wouldn’t let her handle this alone.

Sharon and Tracy met at Orphey Gene. She told Tracy that she wanted to revive her career on Anita’s back. Sharon said they would steal the show from Anita. She said they would split the vocals evenly. Tracy reminded her that it should have been four of them. She said they couldn’t come back with lies between them. Anita agreed to tell Anita the truth. While they were talking, Tracy got a call from Vernon saying Anta didn’t want to do the reunion anymore. He said if they saw any value to the group getting back together, they needed to do something. Andre and Dani had sex. They talked about their feelings. When Dani called him her Mr. Right Now, Andre asked if he was more than that. Dani said she would promote him to CEO, but Andre said they were more than that to each other. She ended their conversation when Naomi called and told her Bill was in the hospital. At the hospital, Doug said Bill had a mini stroke which could have been a warning for a stroke. Bill didn’t want to stay at the hospital overnight. Doug gave Hayley instructions on how to handle Bill. When Dani came in the room, Bill was happy to see her. Dani talked Bill into following the doctor’s orders. Naomi was surprised that Dani still had an effect on him. Dani said she wasn’t finished being upset with him. Hayley was jealous that Dani was able to get through to Bill when she couldn’t. Bill let her know that there was nothing going on between him and Dani. Kat went to Jacob to talk about Leslie suing her for defamation of character. He warned her to stop interfering since they weren’t able to prove that the jacket was Leslie’s. Jacob got a warrant to search Leslie’s apartment. Kat gave herself credit for the warrant. She wanted to go with him, but Jacob said it didn’t work like that. Leslie went to the hospital to talk to Shanice. She asked Shanice for the security footage of the night of Laura’s attack, but Shanice refused to show her. Shanice knew Leslie was the one on the footage Andre found. After Leslie finished talking to Shanice, she looked for Andre. She found him at Orphey Gene’s and tricked him into showing her the security footage. Leslie denied being in the footage. Andre took a picture of her and said the software might be able to link her to the video.

Naomi surprised Anita by giving her something from the Articulettes concerts. It didn’t go over as well as she hoped. Anita told her that looking back could make you sad. Naomi wanted to catch up with her during lunch, but Anita had other plans. Anita felt like she earned the sadness that she felt. After Naomi left, Anita took out a letter from her desk. It was a letter from the fourth Articulette. She ripped into Anita for stealing the group from her. Barbara told her that her voice was classless and ghetto despite starting the group. Anita didn’t need to read the letter because she had it memorized. Hayley was tired of Dani accusing her of lying about her pregnancy so she arrived at her house with a pregnancy test. She told Dani that she’s having a  Hamilton regardless of the gender. Dani wasn’t convinced that she was pregnant with Bill’s baby. She demanded that Hayley take another pregnancy test, but she refused to do it. They didn’t agree to a solution to the problem. Kat and Chelsea were celebrating their first shipment being on time at Orphey Gene. Their celebration was cut short when Leslie arrived. Leslie confronted Kat. She threatened to sue Kat for defamation of character. After the announcement, Leslie threatened Kat. She let her know that people underestimated her and warned her that they never saw her coming until it was too late. Leslie warned her to keep her eyes open.

Bill wanted Tomas to spy on the Duprees and tell him about any information that would be useful to him. He didn’t care if it was about Chelsea, Naomi, Dani or Leslie. Tomas wasn’t happy about the assignment he gave him since his relationship with Kat was on shaky ground. He ended up agreeing to take on the assignment. Kat showed up looking for legal advice. Bill allowed him to go to lunch with Kat. He reminded him about the assignment. While they were at lunch, Tomas got information from Kat about the family. He told him that he wouldn’t take on Kat’s case against Leslie with the little evidence that she had. Naomi showed up at the law firm. Bill and Hayley told her about the news. Naomi handled it a little better than Dani. She felt like the baby was insurance to guarantee that Hayley got child support or a trust fund. Hayley thought the baby would bring the family together. Her comment made Naomi upset. Hayley and Naomi stopped arguing when Bill started slurring his words. Bill told them that he was fine, but Hayley and Naomi didn’t believe him. They realized that he lied to them about his hand problems. His words continued to slur. Derek and Ashley arrived at Orphey Gene and saw Leslie there. Ashley ripped into her about what she did. She informed Leslie that the hospital changed protocol after she attacked Laura. She would never be allowed in Laura’s room again. Andre went to see Dani. She wasn’t looking for sex. Dani wanted to talk to him about Hayley’s pregnancy. She talked about couples bonding when they find out that they are having a baby. The conversation made her think about her time with Bill. Andre was ready to leave after hearing about Bill. He felt like she should spend more time focusing on the man in front of her. Andre told her that he was someone who actually cared about her. He informed her that was changing into someone who wanted more than a fling. Andre didn’t want to break up with Dani. She might not be his future, but he wanted to enjoy the present. Dani told him that she wasn’t ready to think about the future, and he wasn’t waiting for her. She felt like they were friends with benefits with hearts that belong to people who don’t want them. Barbara blamed Anita for why she left the world for a better place. Anita cried into her hands and thought about the loss of Barbara.

Sharon told Anita that she wanted to put everything on the table. She told Anita that she was offered solo deals but didn’t take them because she loved being in the group. Sharon said when Anita got offered a deal, she rushed to take it. While Sharon was talking, she brought up that Anita and Dante spread rumors about her having a problem with drugs and alcohol. She asked Anita how much Vernon knew about why the group really broke up. Anita said she told Vernon that the situation was complicated. Sharon said Anita hung her sisters out to dry. What made things worse was she and Tracy couldn’t do anything to defend themselves because Dante made them sign an NDA so they could get their last payment from him. She said they had to give up on the group and go back to their old neighborhood. Anita said Dante controlled the situation to which Sharon said she let Dante control her. Sharon said she didn’t care how much she changed since then. She thought Anita was trying to look like a good person and thought it was time to let everyone know her secret. Before Sharon left, she told Anita that she would never trust her again. At Orphey Gene’s, Kat and Mona ran into Leslie. When Kat pulled out a leather jacket, she asked Leslie if the jacket looked familiar. Leslie said it reminded her of one she had years ago, but she had better things to do with her time. When she left, she ran into Nicole. Nicole accused Leslie of hitting Laura to which Leslie laughed in her face.

Kat let Leslie know she was taking the leather jacket to the police as evidence. Leslie didn’t care if she took the jacket and was on her way to the police herself. Kat went to the police station and showed Jacob the evidence she had. Jacob told her that her fingerprints and DNA were on the jacket and receipts. He told her Leslie got a restraining order against her. The FBI agent said the woman on the footage matched Leslie’s height and the jacket was a match. Martin and Ted met at the country club. He told Ted that he didn’t like what he did to his mother, but he wished he treated him with some respect. Ted appreciated his forgiveness and liked the idea of Nicole talking to him again. He wished they talked about how to stop Leslie. Martin went to see Nicole to talk about her working things out with his father. Nicole said she liked how Ted was respecting her boundaries but that didn’t mean things were good between them. She thought giving in would be a relief, but it wouldn’t be real. Ted went to see Eva. They talked about not trusting Leslie. Ted asked if Eva thought Leslie caused Laura’s accident. Eva said she had her suspicions but chose to believe Leslie didn’t do it. He told her she could turn to him if she wanted to be free of Leslie. She said she appreciated that after everything she did to his family. While they were talking, Eva warned Ted to watch his back around Leslie. After Ted left, Leslie showed up asking Eva about her helmet and gloves. Eva said she hid them somewhere safe, but didn’t do it for Leslie. She warned Leslie to stay on her good side.

Dani had an awkward introduction with Adam. Pamela let her know that he was a jeweler that wanted to meet her. Kat talked to Mona about what happened when she saw her father with Leslie. Andre went to see Ted. Ted thought he was “Dana.” He told him about what happened with Leslie showed up there. Ted talked to him about Kat being there and seeing him with Leslie. Andre informed him that Kat had evidence that Leslie attacked Laura. Leslie had the helmet and gloves she was wearing the night she ran Laura off the road. Eva walked in and saw her hiding it. She walked out and called out to her. Leslie hid the bag. Eva said she was there to get the rest of her stuff. Leslie had her stuff ready for her. She let her know about her run in with Kat. Kat and Mona continued to talk about Leslie. Nicole walked in the room and wanted to know what they were talking about. Andre let Ted know that there wasn’t any definitive proof that Leslie was the nurse at the hospital. Tracey showed up at Anita and Vernon’s place. Anita thought Sharon wasn’t coming, but Tracey told her that she was at the hotel. She wanted Sharon to eat with them at their place, but Tracey thought it would be better if she weren’t there. Tracey would smooth things over for her. Ted talked to Andre about the way the Duprees treat you when you get out of their inner circle. Sharon met Tracey at Orphey Gene. She made snide remarks about Anita. Tracey wanted her to stop talking about her. She let her know that Anita and Vernon wanted to see her. Sharon planned to go off when she saw Anita. Pamela tried to give Dani a reality check about meeting people. Dani blew Adam off so Pamela gave her a piece of her mind about her moving on with her life. She let it slip that she was seeing someone so she didn’t want to go out with Adam.

Ted wanted to know about any woman in Andre’s life that he remembered. He pushed him until he mentioned that he was seeing Dani. Ted was shocked that they were together. Pamela thought that Dani’s relationship with Andre wasn’t serious. Dani didn’t want Nicole to find out about her relationship with Andre. Kat told Nicole and Mona about the jacket being tied to the person who ran Laura off the road. They realized that Leslie got rid of the jacket. Kat put it together that Leslie was using an alias during the accident. She thought they had enough evidence to prove that Leslie ran Laura off the road. Leslie told Eva to get her things and leave. Eva begged her not to be like that. Leslie reminded her that it was just the two of them, but she threw her to the wolves. Eva told her that the plan was for her to get to know her mother all along. She said that she missed her. Leslie said that she walked out, but she corrected her. She didn’t want Eva in her hair. Eva wanted to keep her key, but she told her to knock if she wanted to visit. Leslie wanted her to take her things and leave. Tracey tried to reach Sharon to convince her to change her mind about Anita. Sharon didn’t want to put an end to her anger. She felt like Anita was an actress. Tracey told her that Anita had the same hole in her heart that they did. Sharon couldn’t believe what Anita did to them. Tracey thought things might be better if they were all together again. Dani didn’t want Pamela to tell anyone that she was with Andre. Pamela warned her that Andre might tell people about their affair. Andre talked to Ted about what was happening with Dani. He didn’t like that she wanted to keep their relationship a secret. Kat and Mona felt like they needed more evidence to prove that Leslie ran Laura off the road. Leslie overheard them talking about her. Eva used her spare key to get back into her mother’s place. She went into the closet and found the bag Leslie hid.

Chelsea was upset over Hayley’s pregnancy. Hayley told her that Bill wasn’t getting back together with Dani. She was sorry that Chelsea was upset, but she needed to accept it so they could move on. Before Chelsea left, she let Hayley and Bill know that she wasn’t about making things easier for them. Martin ended up showing up and demanding to talk to Bill alone. He asked if Bill was out of his mind having a private conversation with Smitty. Martin said Smitty was a reporter who asked questions. Bill reminded Martin who he was talking to. He let Martin know that he eventually wanted something because the Duprees were indebted to him. Bill said his favors weren’t free. He reminded Martin about what he did for him that night and said he fixed him. Hayley interrupted their conversation to say she was pregnant. Martin was furious. He announced that he did something terrible that still haunted him, but Bill used it as a business opportunity. Martin warned Hayley to get away from her husband. When Bill grabbed Martin, it turned out to be a fantasy. Martin congratulated Hayley and left the club. An employee was recording the conversation.

While Tyrell and Jessica were making out, he pulled away from her. He said he loved what they were doing but wondered if she as taking pity out on him because of everything he went through in school. Tyrell accused her of pranking him. Jessica called him toxic and left the house. When Martin came home, Smitty confronted him about lying to him. Smitty said he knew there wasn’t an emergency vote that called him away and knew that he talked to Bill. He wanted to know why Martin didn’t tell him the truth. Martin wanted to know how Smitty knew where he went. Smitty said he knew him so well. Martin changed the subject by telling him about Hayley’s pregnancy. Chelsea went to Dani to tell her about Hayley’s pregnancy. Dani didn’t get upset about the news. She considered it a midlife crisis. Dani asked if Chelsea thought Bill was the father of Hayley’s baby. After assuming Bill wasn’t the father, Dani wondered if Hayley was really pregnant and thought it might have been Hayley’s plan to trap Bill. Chelsea asked if Dani would be able to handle Hayley being pregnant. Later on, Dani went to Bill and Hayley’s house to confront her. Hayley couldn’t believe Dani showed up to congratulate her. Dani said she was there to do more than that.

Vernon arrived at home to hear Anita and Tracey arguing. Anita told Tracey that she couldn’t change what happened. She could only own her ambition and what she sacrificed to make her goals happen. Tracey reminded her that she didn’t really sacrifice much. Anita told her that she didn’t have any idea what she went through to get what she wanted. Tracey felt like she would come up with stories to hide from the truth. Anita wanted to put an end to the charade. She thanked Tracey for coming and wanted to pay for her to get back home. Anita apologized for suggesting they reunite. Tracey let her know that she wasn’t opposed to the reunion. She wanted to stop dancing around what happened between them. Tracey wanted to get everything out between them. Anita apologized to her for not thinking about what would happen to the group when she went solo. Tracey said they could reunite as long as Sharon was onboard with it. Anita told her that Sharon hung up the phone when she tried to call her. Tracey didn’t think Sharon would reject her call. After Tracey left, Anita admitted to Vernon that she wasn’t completely wrong about her. Anita wasn’t always sweet when they were together. She was selfish and ruthless back in the day. Tomas saw Kat at Uptown with Chelsea. He reminded her that he took the time to get to know her situation with Eva, but she never got to know him. Tomas told her about himself. She was surprised to hear about his life and thought she should have known what he told her. He was ready to tell her about himself, but that didn’t mean she was ready to hear him out about Eva. Kat didn’t think that would change her mind about Eva. She felt entitled to have bad feelings about Eva without getting judged for it. Kat promised to get to know him better. After they talked about it, things got better for them. They kissed each other.

Hayley let Bill know how she felt about being the second wife. She felt like she was getting shortchanged by having the small wedding and short honeymoon. The community treats her like she doesn’t measure up. Bill told her to have a drink, but she couldn’t do it. Hayley announced that she’s pregnant. He was shocked by the news at first, but he was excited about it. Chelsea arrived and heard that Hayley was pregnant. Hayley thought the pregnancy was a good thing, but Chelsea didn’t agree with her. Chelsea warned her that the community would shun her and her baby for life. Hayley was hurt by what she said, but she put Chelsea on notice. She let her know that the baby proved that her relationship with Bill wasn’t a fluke. They were going to be together for life. She wanted Chelsea to accept it. Smitty and Martin were at Orphey Gene’s, and he wanted to know about his involvement with Bill. He wished he made Martin as happy as he made him. Smitty told him they could get through anything together. He told him that he knew Bill summoned him. Smitty wanted to know if Bill knew something that he didn’t. Martin brushed off his concerns. He told him that Bill was a snake who played mind games. Smitty admitted that he was jealous that Bill knew something about him that he didn’t know.

Ted saw Leslie in Eva’s place. He demanded to know where Eva was since he was paying the bills for the place. Leslie flirted with him as he walked in the room. Tracey noticed how nice Anita’s piano looked compared to the one they used when they were a group. She thought Anita won the lottery with her life. Smitty wanted to talk to Martin, but he had to deal with meetings. Vernon showed up while they were talking. He felt like he was interrupting them. Anita explained to Tracey that she was blessed, but she didn’t win the lottery. She worked hard for what she got. Anita didn’t like what Tracey was implying. Tracey didn’t seem to believe that she worked hard to get what she had. Doug asked Shanice if he saw Vanessa. She let him know that she didn’t see her. He thought she would be there to celebrate him getting the cast off his hand. Vanessa and Joey were at Orphey Jean. They were enjoying the conversation they were having about the property he wanted. Leslie let Ted know that she wasn’t trying to seduce him. He called her out for the way she treated Eva. She referred to her as her pride and joy. He didn’t believe that since she kicked her out of her place. Leslie said that she kicked her out of her place and not her life. She called Eva her pride and joy. Ted felt like she was trying to be mother of the year. He demanded to see what was in her tote bag and saw the things she tried to take from Eva. Smitty wanted to have lunch with Martin to talk, but he tried to get out of it. Ted demanded to know why Leslie tried to make Kat think that Eva ran Laura off the road. He didn’t understand why she would frame Eva when she ‘s the one capable of committing a crime. Ted talked about the way she destroyed his marriage. He knew she ran Laura off the road. Ted continued to call Leslie out for her actions. He called her out her name while he insulted her.

Tracey felt like Anita was collecting her trophies while she was getting compared to her. She told her that she worked hard after they broke up. It was the same story for her. Everything always circled back to Anita when she tried to do something. Tracey felt like Anita walked all over anyone who got in her way. Anita denied doing that. She did what anyone else who went solo did. Tracey said she left when they needed her the most. Leslie looked in a mirror at her place and talked about her aliases . She wondered which one turned Ted on. Anita explained to Tracey that she had to do what she could to get through what happened. Tracey said they could have helped each other. Anita felt like she had to deal with it herself. Tracey didn’t buy it. Martin, Smitty, Vernon and Samantha spotted Vanessa and Joey at Orphey Jean. They wondered what happened between them. Martin and Vernon felt like they should leave it alone, but Smitty wanted to find out more. Tracey didn’t believe that Anita was wounded. She felt like Anita went running when Dante wanted her to have a solo career. Tracey wanted her to admit it. Vanessa arrived at the hospital and ran into Ted. She called him out for what he did to Nicole. Vanessa wished she was at the party so she could have put him in his place. Ted told her to tell him what she wanted to say. She couldn’t believe what he did to Nicole. Vanessa reminded him of what Nicole did for him. Ted wanted to take everything he did back. He didn’t need to be reminded about what Nicole did for him because he saw it. Ted told her that he would never forgive himself for what he did to Nicole.

Nicole and Ted had an awkward encounter at the hospital. Vernon had a strange phone call that Tracey overheard. Anita told them that she had a visitor that would help with the reunion. Vernon had to leave. Tracey wanted to know who was coming over. Leslie tried to make things right with Mona. Mona didn’t like the way she treated Nicole because she never did anything to her. Leslie tried to tell her side of the story, but Mona thought she manipulated the situation. She said that Nicole didn’t want anything to do with Ted. Her explanation didn’t sit well with Mona. Ted wanted to talk to Nicole, but she was ready to do it yet. She would let him know if and when she was ready. Kat saw them together and thought they were talking. She had something to tell them. Naomi showed up at Anita’s place. Anita introduced Naomi to Tracey. Kat played the recording of Leslie talking about Laura’s accident. Ted didn’t believe what Leslie said. He thought Leslie was trying to pin the accident on Eva. Nicole didn’t believe that Leslie would blame her daughter for everything. Ted continued to think that  Leslie set her up for the accident. Eva couldn’t believe Leslie was willing to throw her under the bus. Leslie told her that she played along with Kat. She didn’t think anyone would take her seriously when they found out that she had an alibi. Eva reminded her that she didn’t know that she had an alibi. Leslie told her that she protected her when the cop asked her. Nicole wanted Kat to take the recording to the cop. Ted wanted to know what happened. She said she took the recording to the police. Nicole demanded to know why there wasn’t an arrest. Kat told them that Leslie and Eva poisoned Laura. She reminded them that Eva and Leslie destroyed their anniversary party. Ted warned Kat to stay away from Leslie. Nicole agreed with him. She wanted her to leave the police work to Jacob. Kat said she wanted to help Nicole. Nicole appreciated it, but she wanted her to stop going after her. She told Ted that he brought her into their lives, and he had to fix it.

Anita and Tracey talked to Naomi about their time as the Articuletts. She told Tracey about Naomi making her sing for Karaoke. Anita mentioned how a producer wanted a performance. Tracey wanted to know why she didn’t jump on it. She didn’t want to do it without the group. Jacob arrived at the hospital and told Nicole, Ted and Kat what happened with the investigation. There was no footage of people leaving Laura’s room. Leslie wanted to use Eva’s bathroom, but she said Ted wouldn’t like it if she stayed. She told her what happened when she was with Ted. Eva didn’t want to hear the details of their relationship. She wanted her to leave so she wouldn’t have to lie to Ted. Leslie wondered if Ted told her about their love. Eva reminded her that she destroyed his life. She told her that Ted would never get back together with her. Leslie said that she was mad at him. Eva wondered why she was mad at Ted. Leslie felt like he questioned what would have happened if he chose her. Eva told her that he hated her for ruining his life. She wanted Leslie to leave. Leslie agreed to go, but she put something in the door so she could sneak back inside. Kat and Jacob talked about what could have happened with Leslie and Eva. Nicole asked Ted if he was going to talk to Eva. He thought she would give him information about what happened. Nicole heard that he put her up. He wanted to get her out from under Leslie’s thumb. After Ted left, Jacob wanted to talk to her about June. He told her that she gave birth but couldn’t remember the baby. Anita felt like the concert was an opportunity to make up for the past. She wanted to make up for leaving the group. Naomi met with Nicole and thanked her for meeting with June. Anita hesitated doing the concert because she didn’t think the group would get back together. Tracey said that it wouldn’t matter if she agreed to do the concert because Sharon wasn’t close to forgiving her. Kat asked Shanice if she saw anyone new show up at the hospital during the time Laura was there. Shanice saw someone and thought it was strange at the time. Leslie broke back into Eva’s room and stole things. Ted arrived while she was in the room.

Andre tried to comfort Ashley over Derek moving out. He offered to go to the firehouse to tell Derek about the mistake he was making. She told him Derek needed to figure it out on his own. Eva told Leslie that she told Kat that she drove Laura off the road. Leslie said she didn’t do anything. Eva said it was recorded. Leslie said Kat heard what she wanted to hear. She said she would cover for Eva if she did it. Eva said she didn’t run Laura off the road. She accused Leslie of doing it. Leslie denied doing it. Eva said she gave Laura potassium to take her out so she could get the job. Leslie asked when she became a stuntman, doctor, or a nurse. Pam talked to Dani about kissing Diego. She was upset that he didn’t want to be a model for the agency or be with her. Chelsea met with Allison at the club. She told Allison that she was thinking about her. Allison let her know that she didn’t think things would go that far with them. Chelsea pretended to understand. Ashley continued to cry over Derek with Andre. He suggested that she take care of herself. She said she ruined things with Derek because she was thinking of herself. Andre said it took two people to make a relationship work. He said there was nothing she could do to make him walk out on her.

Eva wondered if Leslie was going to blame her alter egos for attacking Laura so she could take the job. Leslie denied using the alter egos. Eva wanted to know if she put Laura in the hospital. Leslie said she did it for them because they were on their own. Eva said she didn’t have to do it. Leslie said she did it because she loved her. Eva couldn’t believe she was going to blame love for why she did it. Leslie said she thought Eva was going to confess to Ted but when she didn’t do it, she became an accessory. Eva said she didn’t know about it, but Leslie said it didn’t matter. Jacob showed up while they were talking. Ashley asked why Andre wasn’t in a relationship. Andre said he was afraid of losing someone. He said he wouldn’t hold back if he ever had a relationship. She blamed herself for why Derek left her. Derek ran into Naomi at the club. He talked to her about his issues with Ashley. Dani talked to Pam about her relationship with Andre. Pam thought she should pursue a relationship with Andre. Bill, Hayley, and Chelsea saw Dani kiss Pam. They were shocked. Ashley talked to Andre about her relationship with Derek. Naomi told Derek that things between her and Jacob weren’t perfect the way he thought. She talked to him about her relationship with Jacob. Bill went over to Dani and Pam and accused her of trying to get over him. After the confrontation, he walked away. While they were celebrating, Chelsea ripped into Dani for kissing Pam. Chelsea thought she was offending people who were interested in women. Dani told Chelsea that a kiss was just a kiss. Chelsea said she thought she was done doing things because of her father. Dani said what happened with Pam was innocent. Chelsea confessed that she got dumped by a female and was offended by what she did. When Dani wanted to talk, Chelsea said she needed a minute. Leslie walked away while Jacob questioned Eva. She told him her alibi and showed him proof of it. Jacob asked if Leslie was home when she got back from the casino. Chelsea went back to Dani so they could talk. Bill came over to see if Chelsea was okay. Chelsea didn’t want to talk to him. When Bill walked away, Dani told Chelsea that she accepted who she loved and would always support it. She wanted to listen to Chelsea’s problems. Chelsea opened up about how she met Allison and wanted to be with her. Dani said it was wonderful that she figured out who she wanted to be with. Chelsea came out to Dani. They said they loved each other. Naomi continued to advise Derek on how to fix things with Ashley. Eva told Jacob that she didn’t know if Leslie was home the night Laura was hit. Jacob asked if they had a motorcycle. Eva said her stepfather had a motorcycle. He asked if Leslie knew how to ride a motorcycle. Eva dodged the question. He asked if she could help him with the case. She said she wanted it to be over so she could be free of it. Jacob said he didn’t want to see her dragged down because of Leslie’s actions. He said for her to call him if she changed her mind or thought of anything else. When he left, Leslie came back to the table and said she was proud of her.

Kat wanted answers from Jacob. She wanted to know if Leslie told him that Eva ran Laura off the road. Tomas met with Eva at Orphey Jean. They talked about her connecting with her father. She was grateful since her mother turned against her. Tomas told her that Leslie tried to blame her for Laura’s accident. Eva was shocked to hear that. Leslie went into Laura’s room at the hospital. Kat couldn’t believe Leslie refused to admit that Eva did it. Jacob agreed with her. He said that Leslie didn’t have an alibi for what happened to Laura. Kat wondered about Eva’s alibi. He said she didn’t have one. Jacob felt like Leslie was the one who did it. Kat planned on getting answers. Jacob wanted her to stay out of it, but she didn’t want to do it. Eva told Tomas that she wasn’t the one who ran Laura off the road. She thought Tomas believed she did it, but he told her that he thought Leslie did it. Leslie grabbed a pillow to smother her. Laura asked her what she was doing, and Leslie told her that she needed a pillow. Leslie wondered if Laura thought she was going to smother her. She introduced herself to Laura. Laura knew who she was and what she did to Ted and Nicole. Leslie told her that no one knew anything. She wondered if Laura knew her daughter. Leslie asked her if she knew who was responsible. Anita wondered if Tracey was going to meet her after all. Vernon assured her that Tracey would show up. Anita felt like she got cold feet. She thought Tracey hated her for the way she treated her. Tracey showed up to meet Anita. Leslie told Laura that Eva wasn’t the one who ran her off the road. Eva thought Tomas had too much class to ask her how she could let Leslie control her life. He told her about the way his father treated him. Eva wished her mother stayed one way. She told him about the good things that her mother did for her in addition to the bad things. Eva wanted her mother to treat her better. Tomas wanted the same thing. She let him know that he deserved better. Tomas felt she deserved better too.

Anita and Tracey couldn’t believe how close they were and didn’t see each other. Tracey told Anita and Vernon that Sharon wanted to be with him while they were together as a group. Eva told Tomas that Kat would have a fit if she saw them holding hands. She didn’t think Kat would like her boyfriend holding her hand. Tomas didn’t think they were really holding hands or that Kat was really his girlfriend. He said that Eva was why Kat wasn’t really his girlfriend. Kat interrupted Leslie and Laura talking. Leslie walked out of Laura’s room. Laura told Kat that Leslie was the one who ran her off the road. Kat told her that Jacob thought Leslie ran her off the road too. Laura told her that Leslie was scary because she woke up and saw her staring at her. She didn’t think it was impossible for her to be the culprit. Laura didn’t understand why Leslie would want to run her off the road just for her job. She said she would have been back to work if it weren’t for her cardiac arrest. Tomas told Eva why she was the reason why they weren’t together. Tracey talked to Anita about how they were being torn apart. They went down memory lane about the Articulates. Tracey and Anita seemed to enjoy talking about their past as a group. Getting back together turned out better than Tracey thought it would, Eva took responsibility for what happened to Kat’s family. Tomas told her that everything wasn’t her fault. He reminded her that she tried to stop her mother from exposing the family. Eva liked how he knew how it felt to have a parent like hers. He wanted her to hang in there. Kat put two and two together and realized that Leslie was behind what happened to Laura. Laura wondered if she was still in danger. Kat told her that she couldn’t identify who ran her off the road. She said that Laura could let the guard know about Leslie to keep her out of her room. Leslie ran into Eva. She was about to leave when Eva stopped her. Leslie apologized for missing her little birthday. Eva confronted her about pinning her crimes on her. Kat went back to the station to see Jacob. He reminded her that she was supposed to stay out of it. She told him about her conversation with Laura. He wanted more evidence before he could arrest Eva or Leslie.

While Joey and Doug were watching Dani and Pam gamble, he warned Doug that he wanted his money. Ashley was upset with Derek for messing up her refrigerator. Andre and Ted met at Orphey Gene. They talked about Eva and how Leslie blamed her for everything that happened. Jacob asked Leslie about Laura’s accident. Leslie said she didn’t know the name. Jacob reminded her that she has gone by different names. He told her that Laura was involved in an accident. Leslie told him that she knew Kat sold her out. Kat ran into Tomas and confronted him about being with Eva the other day. Tomas said he wanted to meet with her, but didn’t want to brush Eva out. Kat said he was holding her hand. Tomas said she was upset about what her mother did. Kat said Eva tried to kill someone. Leslie asked Jacob if Kat said something about her. She said he couldn’t believe anything Kat said. Jacob asked about her own words and played the recording. He asked her if she was blaming Eva for the hit and run. Eva met with Andre and Ted at the diner. Ted wished her a happy birthday and gave her a gift. Dani convinced Pam to take her winnings and run. She noticed Doug at the club and wondered why he was there. Joey called Vanessa and wanted to meet with her.

When Andre had to go, Eva told Ted that Kat wanted him to call her. Tomas wondered why Leslie would tell her that Eva ran Laura off the road. Jacob didn’t care about what she was saying and asked if she was saying that Eva ran Laura off the road. Andre met up with Dani and they made love. Joey met with Vanessa at the club. He said he wanted them to have ecstasy if they were to get together. Kat was upset when Tomas didn’t want to judge Eva. Tomas said they didn’t know if Leslie’s word was enough to believe that Eva hit Laura. Jacob wanted Leslie to come clean about the recording. Leslie said she wanted to remind Kat about who she shouldn’t mess with. Jacob asked if she was saying that Eva was a threat. Leslie said if he listened to the rest of the recording, he would know that Eva had nothing to do with the accident. Jacob said he had proof, but Leslie said he didn’t. He said he had one question for her. Jacob asked who was the one who actually hit Laura since they planned to get revenge on Ted. Leslie said she took advantage of the situation. Jacob asked where she was. Leslie said she was with Mona and Jan at Orphey Gene’s. He asked where she was that afternoon. She said she was at work. Derek fixed the refrigerator, but Ashley was still upset. When Derek suggested that they move to another place, Ashley said she liked her place. While they were talking, he thought she didn’t want him to live with her anymore. Derek asked if she thought they didn’t belong together at all. He said it was better that they figured it out now before it was too late. Andre talked to Dani about taking their relationship to the next level. Dani said she needed time on her own before she made a commitment. Doug showed up at the club while Joey and Vanessa were talking. Joey left them alone. Kat told Tomas that she wanted to make sure Jacob arrested Eva. She said she wanted to make sure Eva didn’t come between them. Tomas told her that Eva was still going to be her sister even if she got her locked up. Ted told Eva that she would be his daughter and apologized for not knowing about her sooner. Eva apologized too. While Doug and Vanessa were talking, she admitted to seeing other men. He was surprised that she admitted it.

Dani and Pamela went to Joe’s casino to make some money for their business and to find talent. She started flirting with the dealer. Dani planned to have him naked in an international fashion magazine if he played his cards right. Ted went to see Leslie to invite her to an impromptu lunch for Eva. Leslie was still too upset with Eva to celebrate her birthday. Ted thought she was evil for not wanting to celebrate her daughter’s birthday. Leslie refused to let him say that she didn’t love her daughter. She said that Eva reminds her of the love she lost and the life would have had. Leslie wondered if she could still have that life. She placed her hand on his leg. Leslie hoped he would finally do right by her and Eva. Naomi and Jacob found out that June had pneumonia and needed bypass surgery. Dou’s hand was still hurt so another doctor had to help out. Kat arrived at the hospital to show Naomi and Jacob the footage of Leslie accusing Eva of running Laura off the road. Jacob thought her words were damaging, it would take more than that to close the case.He thanked her for what she got and agrees to pursue it. After Kat left, Naomi and Jacob found out that June’s surgery was successful. June was making jokes after the surgery.  Jacob went to Leslie’s place to let her know that she had to go to the station for questioning. 

Vanessa went to see Nicole. Nicole told her that she was thinking about selling her house. With Ted gone, she wanted something new. Vanessa didn’t want to put the house on the market yet. She wanted to give Nicole time to think about it first. Smitty was concerned about Martin so he started investigating him. He talked to Nicole about Martin first. She thought it was understandable that Martin would drop the presidential pursuit until he told her about his nightmares. She became worried about his nightmares. After his visit with Nicole, Smitty met with Bill at Orphey Gene. He wanted to know what Bill meant when he said they should stick together. Bill tried to get around it, but it didn’t work. Smitty wanted to know if there’s something Martin I’d keeping from him. Bill told him to ask Martin since the family was so honest. Doug to the casino and got approached by Joey. He warned Doug to pay back the money he owed him. Doug told him that his debt would be paid off when he could do surgeries again. Joey felt that would take too long. He wanted Doug ro call Vanessa, or he would do it. Dani spotted Joey and Doug talking and wondered what they were talking about.

Kat went to see Ted at his hotel. She wanted him to tell her about his affair. He told her about how funny Leslie used to be. It was something he missed with Nicole after she had the miscarriages. He called himself selfish for what he did. Ted missed the love he used to get from Nicole and confuses Leslie’s attention for love. Kat asked him if he would have left her mother if she didn’t get pregnant. Ted didn’t confirm or deny her question. Nicole’s pregnancy inspires emotions in him that led him back to her. Kat surprised him when she wondered why he didn’t strap up when he was with Leslie. Ted thought Leslie was on birth control pills. Kat informed him that their relationship wouldn’t be fixed with one conversation. She hugged him, and he was surprised by that. Leslie went to see Bill at his office. She wanted answers about the cease and desist order that he sent her saying that she waited over two decades to tell everyone about his threats. He promised that everyone would side with him over her after everything she’s done. Leslie didn’t seem worried. She wanted him to do his worst to her because she was going to do hers too. After Leslie left, Bill wanted Ted to come to his office. Ted arrived at Bill’s office. Bill warned him to get proactive with Leslie. He warned him that she is unhinged. Avoiding her wouldn’t be an option for long. 

Naomi went to see her father. She had a feeling what he was talking about when she saw Ted in his office. Naomi was cordial to Ted, but she didn’t believe that her father didn’t threaten Leslie. Eva talked to Andre about the progress she made with Martin and Ted. She promised that Nicole was safe from her.  Eva wanted to be part of Ted’s life. She wasn’t looking for trouble. Eva was happy to see a text from Leslie to meet her at Ophrey Gene. Later Eva met with Leslie. She wanted Eva to use her relationship with Ted to help her get in good with him. She didn’t hide her disappointment when she thought her mother wanted to spend time with her. Leslie forgot it was Eva’s birthday after everything that’s happened. Eva refused to help her. She told her mother that she shouldn’t worry about the cease and desist order because it could have been worse. Kat and Chelsea met up. She told Chelsea that Leslie used her father from the beginning. Kat thought she lied about birth control. She put it together that Leslie and Eva took advantage of Laura’s accident. Kat believed they had something to do with the accident. Chelsea didn’t think they would hire a hitman to take care of Laura. Kat thought Eva ran her off the road. Later Kat went back to see her father. She wanted to warn him about her theory about Leslie and Eva, but he wasn’t there. Leslie showed up and had a conversation with Kat. She didn’t feel guilty about what happened. Nicole was collateral damage in her mission to expose Ted. Kat accused her of running Laura off the road. Leslie agreed that what happened to Laura wasn’t a coincidence. She implied that Eva was the one who ran her off the road. Leslie didn’t think Kat could do anything without proof. Kat was recording their conversation.

Anita and Vernon talked about her reunion with The Articulettes. She had reservations about the reunion after the way she treated the other members. Vernon wanted her to do the reunion, but she didn’t want to. When Vernon showed Anita one of her albums, she said her voice was gone. He told her that he pushed for the reunion so she could let go of the guilt she felt about what happened. Anita said he was the man for her and could make her shine. They talked about how beautiful their lives were. She said she was scared when he brought up the reunion because it reminded her of the way she used to be. While they were talking, Anita agreed to do the reunion. When Anita was alone, she called one of the members of the group who ended up hanging up on her. Bill had a spasm and tried to hide it when Hayley came in his office. While he was answering phone calls, Hayley got on top of him and brought up their honeymoon. He said he would take her on the honeymoon, but he had to fill in for Mike. She said she knew he would say that, so she brought the honeymoon to him. They made out on the desk. After they made love, he had spasms in his hand but hid it.

Andre went to see Nicole to check on her. Nicole was upset with him. Dani showed up and defended Andre. She told Nicole that she should understand why Andre didn’t saying anything about Ted’s affair and wondered what she would tell a patient in her situation. Nicole realized Andre was in a bad position. Andre wanted to give them their space, but Nicole told him to stay. She let him know how much he means to her, but she didn’t know who to trust. Nicole said Ted put him in a bad position. She told Andre that he was family and that didn’t change. Andre told her she didn’t have to explain anything to him. While they were hugging, Dani mouthed for him to meet her later. When Andre left, Nicole asked Dani what was going on between her and Andre. Dani said nothing was going on. She said she wasn’t looking for a relationship. Dani said having Bill out of her life was a good thing and enjoyed being alone. Nicole said she looked forward to feeling that way, but she needed to be alone. Dani suggested they do something fun. Later on, Dani and Andre made love. When they finished making love, they talked about Nicole being on to them. Eva saw Kat and wanted to work things out. Kat wasn’t interested in working things out with her. Eva said she tried and reminded her that they would be half-sisters forever. Martin showed up and invited Kat over. Kat said she needed it after the drama with Eva and Leslie. He suggested that they invite Eva to which Kat wasn’t interested. Martin said the kids needed to get to know Eva. Kat didn’t care and walked away. Eva went to Martin and said she hoped she didn’t make things weird between him and Kat. Martin suggested they get to know each other and invited her over. When Martin brought Eva to the house, Samantha was upset that she was there. Eva offered to leave, but Martin wanted her to stay. He gathered everyone together and said Eva being in the family wasn’t smooth, but she’s family. While he was talking, he said he was going to run for president but wanted to focus on his family. Kat went to see Nicole and talked to her about Eva.

Martin had the nightmare again. Someone in his dream asked to see the color of his money. He woke up before he could see who it was. Nicole talked to Dani about grieving her relationship. Dani told he’d that she and their mother probably sent Ted and Eva to the hospital with emotional wounds. Nicole didn’t need anyone defending her. Dani reminded her that the Dupree family doesn’t hide. They fake it until they make it. Dani wanted her to go out. Ted and Eva went out for breakfast. She thought they would be more welcomed at the hotel. He didn’t want to do that because they deserved to be there. Anastasia (a gossip in town) saw them together and gave them the evil eye. Eva felt uncomfortable with her watching them. Ted told her that people would have to get used to seeing them together. He planned to set Eva up as a hairstylist. Ted thought she might be able to get another personal assistant job. Dani brought Nicole to the club. She told her to hold her head high. They spotted Ted and Eva at the club. Ted was about to talk to Nicole, but Vanessa stopped him. She tried to take Nicole’s mind off of Ted by talking to her about Doug and his self-destructive behavior. Dani lectured Ted about his actions. He said he was taking her advice and stepping up for his daughter. Dani had a message for Eva. She let her know that she would never be a Dupree. Dani went to Nicole and Vanessa’s table. Anastasia arrived at the table. She thought betrayed women should unite. After Anastasia left, Nicole wanted to run off, but Dani and Vanessa convinced her to stay. 

Anastasia went to Ted and Eva’s table and made a snide comment to her. Eva wanted to leave so she left the table. Anastasia apologized to Ted for what she said to Eva. Nicole, Dani and Vanessa drank to Eva walking out of the club. Ted arrived at their table. He said there was no excuse for what he did to her. Ted planned to be the man who learned from his mistakes. He was determined to get Nicole back within a year. After he left, Nicole thanked Dani for talking her into going out. Leslie saw Jan at Orphey Gene. Jan wouldn’t let sit with her. She didn’t like the way she used her and Mona. Jan didn’t like how she manipulated her daughter. Leslie explained what happened with Ted and how he wanted her to get an abortion. Jan felt sorry for her at first. She wouldn’t have used her daughter the way Leslie did. Jan told her that she acted out of hate and couldn’t sit with her. After her conversation with Jan, Eva arrived at Leslie’s table. They went back and forth about Eva’s betrayal. She begged her to let her again. Leslie wouldn’t let her come home. She reminded Eva about what she did. Eva ran off. Jan couldn’t believe the way she treated Eva like that. Leslie yelled at Jan. She had more plans up her sleeve. Eva ran into Ted and told him what happened with her mother.

Dani went to Ted’s to rip into him for what he did to Nicole. Ted let her know that he didn’t need her to remind him that he messed up. Dani yelled at him for keeping his affair a secret and for letting Leslie ruin Nicole’s life. Ted understood that it was personal for Dani since Bill cheated on her, but he wasn’t Bill. Dani didn’t care about that. She asked him how his kids were doing. He said Martin ripped into him. Ted said he didn’t know why he did what he did to Nicole. When he brought up Nicole’s fertility issues, Dani was appalled. He said his affair was a mistake, but he loved Nicole. When he threw Dani out, Anita was at the door. Anita said she had some things to say to him. Ted thought she wanted to talk about Nicole and the kids. He said he regret what he did and didn’t cheat since. While he was talking, he said he wouldn’t be her punching bag. Anita said he was a coward who wasn’t good enough to be with a Dupree woman. She said she was grateful that Martin was like his grandfather. Anita said Leslie was showing off the DNA test which was a surprise to Ted. Anita advised him to handle things before he tried to make things right with Nicole. Dani and Anita ended up leaving. Kat talked to Martin about Eva getting closer to Tomas. Martin said it was most likely innocent. Kat thought he might have been right. She said she had hate towards men now. Martin said he felt the same way after he talked to their father. They couldn’t believe their father got two women pregnant at once. Martin reminded Kat that Eva was their sister, so they had to deal with her. Kat said she wanted Eva ran out of town. Martin said Eva was manipulated and he felt sorry for her. He said he was going to see their mother. Kat followed him.

At the bar, Joey wanted Vanessa to open up to him. Vanessa talked to him about Nicole and Ted’s marriage. She said she felt like a hypocrite since she was cheating on Doug. Joey said she was mourning her past. He said he knew her better than Doug and was interested in her, so she didn’t need to impress him. When he invited her to come over, she turned him down. Leslie told Nicole that she didn’t mean to hurt her. Nicole didn’t believe her and reminded her of the way she came into her life. She asked Leslie why she didn’t say something sooner. Nicole wondered why she had to humiliate her. Leslie couldn’t explain her actions. Nicole ripped into Leslie for treating her child like garbage. Leslie stood by the way she treated Eva. She showed Nicole the DNA test so she could see that Eva was Ted’s. Nicole wanted Leslie to leave her and her family alone. Leslie said Nicole was a nice person and was sorry for what she did. Nicole didn’t believe her and threw her out. When Leslie broke down and cried, Nicole told her to keep her tears. Leslie said she wanted to get back at Ted. Mona saw Eva at the casino and ripped into her for what she did. Eva said she felt guilty about what happened. Mona said she put her job on the line by recommending her for Nicole’s assistant. Eva said Nicole wouldn’t use that against her. She gave Mona the key and told her that she felt like she was going to lose everything. Doug showed up at the casino. Randy told Doug that he shouldn’t be there. He suggested that Doug walk out of the casino. Doug lied and said he could walk away from gambling and left with Randy. Later on, Doug went back to the casino. Mona went to see Leslie and yelled at her for what she did. When Mona left, Ted showed up and warned Leslie to stay away from his family. He warned her that she would have to deal with him if she did anything to the Duprees. Leslie thought Nicole told him she was at the house. Ted said he was there because Anita and Dani came to see him and kicked him out of the family. He said she ruined his life. Leslie said she didn’t want to ruin his life because she was still in love with him. Ted said she didn’t know what love was. He said he was going to get his daughter an apartment, but he didn’t care about Leslie. Ted said she was a psycho and left. Martin and Kat went to see Nicole. When the subject of Eva came up, she told the kids that the results were real. Martin thought it was a lot to take having a sister. Anita and Dani saw Eva at the club. Dani went over to Eva and invited her to go to their table. They told Eva that she’s resourceful. Dani said she knew Ted was getting her an apartment. Anita said she was sorry that she didn’t getting parented the way she should have. She said she hoped Ted stood by her side. Eva said she was thankful for him. Anita said she hurt Nicole so she would never be a part of the Dupree family.

Dani demanded answers from Bill about what he did for Ted. She told him that it was her family. Bill thought he was doing the right thing. Dani told Bill about everything Ted did to Nicole and couldn’t believe his role in the plan. Bill didn’t feel he did anything wrong. Dani wanted to know what else he did to help her family. She and Bill continued to argue about what he did for her family. Bill told her to take it up with her parents if she wanted answers about what he did for the family. Vernon tried to make Nicole feel better. She said she felt numb from everything that happened. He thought it was good that she was feeling numb right now. Vernon assured her that her family had her back. Andre went to see Ted. Ted felt like he was the only person who would want to see him. Andre asked him how things were going at the hospital. He told him that was the only thing he didn’t mess up. Andre wondered if there was anything he could do for him. Ted wanted him to put a good word in for him with Nicole. Nicole thought Ted was the closest person she would find like her father. She couldn’t believe she was so blind when it concerned Ted. Anita didn’t want her to put herself down for Ted. The only thing she did was love her husband. Nicole felt like being with her parents made her feel secure and loved. Bill told Dani that everything that happened has already been done. She warned him to stay out of her family’s business. He didn’t have a problem with that and that’s why he left her. Dani couldn’t believe that she ever loved someone like him. She stormed out of his place. Hayley wanted to know if Bill really meant it when he said he was finished with the Duprees.

Andre told Ted that he believed that he and Nicole would get back together. Ted wasn’t sure about that. Andre left and there was a knock at the door. Martin was the one at the door. Tomas and Eva showed up at the bar. He wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t think she would be good company. Tomas didn’t think she was capable of what she did. He said that his lies destroyed his mother. Martin didn’t know who he could forgive when he didn’t know who he was. He thought Ted was the best. Andre told Nicole that he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He begged her to forgive him. Nicole didn’t blame him for what happened. He said that Ted regretted what he did and never wanted to hurt her. Nicole didn’t know what to do with that information. Tomas thought he knew Eva, but he was wrong. Eva didn’t want to stay with him. She wanted to leave, but he wanted her to stay. Bill met with Smitty because he knew he wanted to congratulate him for pursuing his career. He realized that Smitty could use a friend. Bill wanted Smitty to remind Martin that they were on the same team. Martin wanted answers from Ted. Ted assured Martin that he loved Nicole. He apologized to him. Ted was determined to get his family back. Eva knew she was wrong to do what she did. Tomas grabbed Eva’s hand when she started crying. Ted went to Bill’s place to confront him. Anita and Vernon discussed the way Bill and Ted treated their daughters. They were talking about what Bill did for the family, but Chelsea interrupted them before they talked about what he did for them. Ted wanted to know why Bill didn’t tell him that he had a child. Eva was in Nicole’s office and wanted to talk to her. Nicole didn’t blame her for Ted’s affair. Eva reminded her that she’s the product of the affair. She tried to apologize, but Dani showed up. Dani demanded that Eva get out. Eva left the house. Nicole let Dani know that she had it under control. Dani didn’t agree with her since she allowed Eva in her house. Kat talked to Tomas about Eva and Leslie. She had no intention of getting to know Eva. Chelsea couldn’t believe her father was involved in Ted’s situation. Dani wanted to go after everyone involved with hurting Nicole. She reminded Nicole that Ted loved her. Dani told her about the things he did to show that he loved her. Nicole didn’t want to hear her defend Ted. Dani knew she was right. Leslie wanted to know what was in Eva’s box. She thought that Nicole fired her. Leslie demanded to know why Eva turned on her. Eva demanded to know why she didn’t tell her the truth. She noticed the boxes on the floor. Leslie told her that she was kicking her out because she refused to stay with someone she didn’t trust. Eva let her know that she slept in her car. Leslie told her to stay with her father since he needs family. Eva took one last look at her mother and walked out the door. Dani wondered if there would ever be a time where she would forgive Ted and get back together. Nicole didn’t think she would ever feel that way. She was too upset to do anything. Dani thought she should wait until she was ready to move on. Eva went to see Ted because she didn’t have anywhere else to go. He wanted to know why she didn’t stay with her mother. She told her that she kicked her out for defending him and Nicole. He felt like it was too little too late. Ted wanted to know what she wanted from him. She was hoping that he would want her in his life. Kat told Tomas that she couldn’t forgive her father for what he did to her mother. She refused to forgive Eva for her role in destroying her parents’ marriage. Kat wanted him to end his friendship with Eva. Dani showed up at Bill’s place to confront him for what he did for Ted. Eva continued to tell Ted what she thought she knew about him. He knew why she wanted to get revenge on him but why did she do that to Nicole. If he were a better man, he would still have Nicole. Eva reminded him that she wouldn’t be born. Ted planned to give her a room and then he would get an apartment for her.

The Duprees were appalled that Leslie showed up at the house. They wanted her out of the house. When Martin wanted the police called, Leslie talked about what she used to call Ted. Leslie said they weren’t going to call the police because the neighbors would talk. Anita said Leslie should be worried about what she had to say. Kat told Eva that she was right about her and no one believed her. Eva wondered what made her suspicious. Kat said she tried too hard. Nicole told Ted she wanted the man who loved her. Ted said he was there. Nicole said that was a lie. She said she didn’t know how they got there. Nicole said he wasn’t the man she married. She reminded him about his child and how Leslie destroyed them. Nicole said he didn’t spare her from heartache. Anita and Martin grilled Leslie about what she wanted from them. Martin warned Leslie that she messed with the wrong family and told her to leave. He ripped into Leslie before he decided to go home. The Duprees were wondering what Leslie wanted. Leslie said she wanted understanding. Nicole told Ted that things would have been different if she knew about his affair years ago. Ted tried to justify his affair, but Nicole didn’t care. She said while she was hurting, he was in another woman’s bed. Nicole said he knew what Leslie could do, and he didn’t say anything. Ted said he would regret that. Nicole said none of it was real. She said she was doing everything she could to give him babies. Ted said he regretted what he did. Nicole ripped into Ted for choosing Leslie. Kat told Eva that she set up the anniversary party and helped her mother destroy her parents. Eva said that Ted was her father. She gave Kat the DNA test she got when she was at the house. Kat said she must have loved what Leslie did. Eva said she tried to get her parents out of there, but it didn’t work. Kat yelled at Eva for expecting forgiveness just because she tried to stop her mother. Eva said she loved Kat’s parents. Kat told Eva that she and her mother were disgusting. Leslie apologized to the Duprees but said she deserved to be treated with respect. She gave them proof that Eva was Ted’s daughter. Leslie said Kat and Eva were practically twins. She said one daughter had everything while the other one was kicked in the teeth. Anita wanted to know what Leslie wanted. Leslie said she wanted Eva to be treated with respect. Ted told Nicole that Leslie wanted money and played them. Nicole told him not to blame Leslie when he was the one who lied. She was furious that he took her son to see the woman he was sleeping with. Nicole was upset that he went to Bill to fix what he did. Ted said he would have lost everything. Nicole said he had everything, but it wasn’t perfect enough. She wanted to know what his end game was if she lost the child. Ted said Nicole was his endgame. Nicole confronted him about denying Eva being his daughter when he knew it was true. When Martin was home, he read a book that his father gave him. He knocked the books off the shelves. Smitty wanted Martin to talk to him. Martin told Smitty that Leslie ruined his mother’s life. Eva told Kat that her mother lied to her about her father. She said she grew up thinking that her father didn’t want her so she didn’t care what happened to him. Eva said when she met Ted, she was surprised that he was a good guy. Kat wasn’t fazed by what she said about Ted. She said Ted was a monster who destroyed her mother. Eva told Kat that she was lucky to have a relationship with Ted and warned her not to let it ruin what they have. Nicole asked Ted if there were any other women, but she didn’t want an answer because she wouldn’t believe him. Ted said there weren’t any others. Leslie told the Duprees that she didn’t expect sympathy to which she didn’t get anything. She told the Duprees not to treat Eva any differently because of her actions. When the Duprees didn’t care about Eva being a part of Ted’s life, Leslie told them to prove that they are the good people they claim to be. When Leslie was about to leave, Anita stopped her to ask her a question. She said Leslie put her daughter through it just to serve her own agenda. Anita said she wasn’t a real mother because a real mother would have done better. She said Leslie didn’t care about her daughter. Anita wanted to know what she wanted to prove. She warned Leslie that she wasn’t going to get what she wanted. Nicole told Ted that he was leaving the house. Ted wondered for how long. Nicole said day by day. Kat reminded Eva of the way she acted when she planted the camera on her. When Kat said she was like her mother, Eva told her to stop treating her like that. Kat said Eva’s reaction was proof that she was sinister and said she was dead to her before she left. Ted told Nicole that staying with her was the only way they survived. Nicole said if he didn’t leave, it would be the last thing he did. Ted said he would never leave Nicole. He said he was staying at a hotel. When Leslie left, the Duprees talked about what happened. Eva went home and found the door locked. She called out to Leslie, but she ignored her.

Leslie wondered if anyone had smelling salt or cardiac paddles. She felt like Nicole was going to need them. Leslie wondered if she should tell Nicole who she was. Eva begged the guests to help. She told them that she wasn’t well and locked her in the closet. Smitty and Martin grabbed Leslie, but Nicole told them to let her go. Mona admitted that Leslie recommended Eva for the job. She didn’t know that Leslie had an ulterior motive. Naomi arrived at the party late. Nicole told Ted that Leslie was Sherry and not Dana. Leslie told her that Ted knew who she was. Kat called Leslie insane. She announced that Leslie said her name was Anna. Kat told everyone that Leslie was Eva’s mother. Eva cried and apologized to Nicole. She said she tried to stop Leslie. Carlton said that he let Eva out of the closet. Hayley was surprised that Bill was missing Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party. Bill said that Ted wasn’t any better than the rest of the family. Hayley didn’t believe that and wanted to know more. Bill didn’t say anything at first. She questioned him about what he meant and realized that Ted cheated. Vernon wanted to get Leslie the help she needed. He wanted everyone but his family to leave the room. Leslie mocked him while he asked the guests to leave. She wanted her lover to come clean to everyone. Nicole cried by her mother’s side after she heard Leslie’s comment. Anita shot daggers at Leslie with her eyes.

Kat wanted Eva to stop the mess that Leslie started. Leslie told her that Eva wasn’t born when it started. She asked Martin if he remembered the server who gave him brownies when he was a kid. Martin looked to Ted for answers. Ted ordered her to leave his family out of it. Leslie told everyone that Ted wasn’t excited when she told him that she was pregnant. Nicole almost fainted when she heard the news. Dani wanted to make sure that she was okay. Leslie said that she was pregnant, but Ted told her to get an abortion and leave town. She said she was crushed when he wanted her to get an abortion. Leslie announced to everyone that Ted called Bill to offer her money to get the abortion and leave town. If she didn’t take the offer, her child wouldn’t be safe. Someone would kidnap her baby. Eva started crying as Leslie told Ted that Bill planned to sell her baby on the black market. Ted denied what Leslie said. Leslie bought what Bill said and gave in to his threat. She announced that she went to Chicago and secretly had the baby. Ted was shocked when he found out that Kat was his daughter. Eva was surprised when she found out that Leslie agreed to have the abortion. She told Ted that Leslie made her believe that he didn’t want her. Kat told everyone not to believe what Eva and Leslie were saying. Ted wanted to talk everything out. Leslie told Eva that she made the wrong choice. Eva cried while Leslie walked away. Mona apologized to Vernon and Anita. They didn’t blame her. Ted was responsible for what happened. Anita wanted Dani to get the family together so they could make a plan. Ted went home, and Kat told him to leave her mother alone. Nicole believed what Leslie had to say. Ted said he was selfish, but it was a long time ago. The Duprees talked about what happened with Ted and Leslie. They wondered if he really did if Eva was his kid. Chelsea reminded everyone that Kat knew the truth about Eva all along. Leslie showed up at the Dupree mansion and shocked everyone. Ted waited for Nicole to come out of the shower and apologized to her. Nicole couldn’t feel anything. Her world stopped at the party. Kat approached Eva. Eva told her that she was right all along. She gave Kat DNA test papers.

Eva thought about Ted welcoming her into his family. Leslie was dressed as a server. She told Eva that she was ready for the party and thought it would be great when Ted finds out that his daughter was the cause of his destruction. Eva wasn’t happy to hear that and felt bad about going through with the plan. She didn’t hate the Duprees the way Leslie did. Leslie ordered her to do what she was supposed to do. Eva reluctantly agreed to go through with the plan. She questioned if they had to publicly expose Ted. Leslie told her that they had to do it because Ted treated them like dirt under his shoe. She was tired of living in the shadow of their perfect lives. Eva started crying while Leslie was talking to her. While Eva was crying, Leslie reminded about the things they were cheated out of in life. Eva let her know that the plan felt wrong. Her mother told her to think of it as a roller coaster ride, but Eva wanted to get off. Ted and Nicole’s marriage would be destroyed. Leslie didn’t care about that because he was gaining a daughter. Anita, Vernon and Kat got ready for Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party. Kat told her grandparents that her speech will make her father. Vernon thought Ted would cry about the speech. Anita felt like he was sentimental like Vernon. They talked about how much they cared about Ted. The discussion turned to Tomas. They wanted to make sure he was right for her. She told them that he asked Tomas for help with something that made her uncomfortable. Kat refused to do it, and he apologized to her. She wanted to have the type of relationship that her parents had. Once Vernon met Ted, he knew he would marry his daughter. Anita thought he was the son they never had. Leslie and Eva arrived at the club. She took Eva to a closet. Leslie wanted to change from her server uniform into an evening gown. Leslie wanted Eva to text her when the time was right. There was no lock on the door on the inside so she gave Eva the keys. Leslie changed the plan. She wanted Eva to come get her. Mona was outside of the closet and saw Eva. Leslie heard them while they were talking about her. Eva walked off and joined the rest of the people for the party.

Chelsea recorded the event for social media. She talked to Vernon and Anita about the secret to a happy marriage. Andre took pictures of everyone at the party. Eva and Mona talked about how great Ted and Nicole were together. Kat told Chelsea that she had a bad feeling about Eva’s mother. She told her that Leslie looked like a woman she met named Anna. Kat was afraid she was going to be at the party. Dani hugged Nicole and congratulated her. Nicole remembered Dani telling her to prioritize Ted or she would lose him. Kat caught Eva trying to get into the closet at the club. Eva lied and said they needed more linen for the tables. Kat basically warned her to behave herself at the party. Eva opened the door and noticed that Leslie wasn’t in the closet. Ted told Nicole that he wanted to be wherever she was. He kissed her while Leslie eavesdropped on them. Dani spotted Eva and asked if she ever considered modeling. Eva managed to get away from her so she could find her mother. Kat talked to Mona about Leslie. She learned that Mona just met Leslie. Ted and Nicole found Eva and made her an offer. They wanted her to become a medical assistant. Once she graduated, she would work for Ted. Eva was touched by the offer. Later Eva found her mother and told her the plan was off. She wanted the truth to come out, but she didn’t want to humiliate Ted and Nicole. The Richardsons were good people. Eva begged Leslie to let her handle things her way. Leslie locked Eva in the closet and walked away. Eva screamed for her to let her out. Kat told Chelsea that Anna and Leslie were the same person. She wanted to tell her parents that Eva was involved in Leslie’s plan. Eva yelled for help until Carlton heard her and opened the door. Ted thanked Andre for his help with getting his past stray out. He was right to keep his secret in the past. Ted hoped the good things he did outweighed the bad. Ted made a speech about Nicole. He felt the same way he did when he first met her. Ted thanked everyone and asked Eva to come up to him. Ted and Nicole looked around for Eva. Eva had to get to Ted and Nicole before it was too late. Kat tried to stop Eva from going to the party. Eva went to Ted and Nicole and wanted them to leave. They were confused by her actions. Eva wanted them to trust her, but it was too late. Leslie walked in the room and said they couldn’t leave. Ted wasn’t happy, and Nicole was confused. Ted wanted Leslie to go, but she wouldn’t leave. He told her that she was supposed to leave town. Eva pleaded with Leslie not to say anything. Nicole wanted to get Leslie some help. Leslie felt like she would need the help. Ted wanted Leslie to go and that made Nicole more confused. Leslie wondered if Ted was going to tell Nicole what happened or would she do it.

At the club, Anita asked Vernon what he was up to. He said she had her chance to have a comeback. She told him her voice has aged to which he said like fine wine. Anita said she didn’t make any decisions yet, but she loved being part of a group. She said she would consider getting back together with the group but the break up wasn’t amicable. Anita didn’t like how she treated Tracy and Sharon. Chelsea went to see Martin while he was having a nightmare. She needed his advice on threesomes. Martin told her he and Smitty were monogamous. Chelsea talked to him about her threesome with Craig and Allison. She said it felt as if Craig felt left out. Martin said straight men liked that sort of thing. Chelsea wondered what it would have been like to be alone with Allison. She talked to him about being with women before, but didn’t want to complicate things. Martin assured her that it would be okay. Later on, Martin and Vernon went to the diner. The told Vernon about his nightmare. Martin said he thought he had the nightmare because of seeing Bill. He said he would do anything he could to stop having the nightmares. Vernon wanted to talk to someone about it but didn’t want to bother Nicole with it. He said there was too much at stake. Martin said he didn’t like the idea of keeping secrets from Smitty, but he brought it on himself.

Derek got his things settled in Ashley’s apartment. They talked about needing more space. While they were getting settled, Jan showed up. She tried to get them to compromise instead of arguing. Chelsea met with Allison and told her that she kept thinking about her. She told Allison that she liked being with her without Craig. Allison said she liked variety to which Chelsea said they should meet one on one. While they were talking, they admitted to their feelings for each other. Leslie told Eva that she saw Vernon and Martin at the club. Eva wanted to know why she was bothering them. Leslie said she lost her virginity to Anita’s music. Eva told her she was playing with fire. Leslie said they all had to pay in cash. She told Eva that she wanted to move into a bigger place. They talked before Eva left to take care of a client. Leslie flashed back to her old life. When her flashback was over, she said she was supposed to be a rich wife and not the life Ted gave her. She wanted to make Ted pay by airing his dirt in public.
