Holden persuades Audra to leave Claire alone and he will not tell Claire about the drunk art dealer that he defended her against when the man asked for the money back that she stole from him. Holden assures Audra that the man died when he hit him on the head and then he buried the body in an unmarked grave.

Billy overhears Phyllis asking Cane to help her get the AI program from Victor so they can use it to take Newman Enterprises from Victor.

Kyle tells Jack and Diane that he has had the Abbott security team keeping a close eye on the Newmans so they would know Victor’s next move against them. Kyle also tells Jack and Diane that the Abbott security team found out that a man from Nick and Sharon ‘s past has been harassing them and the man is Newman enemy number one. The security team brings Matt in the house and Jack immediately recognizes Matt and calls Victor to tell him that he has Matt with him.

Nick gets into a car crash because Matt grabbed him and tried to choke him. Nick regains consciousness still trapped in the car and calls Victor to tell him to send help. Nick is taken to the hospital where he has to have surgery to fix his broken leg. Matt is injured but manages to walk to a park bench and sit down he vows to kill Nick.

Sienna and Tessa catch up because they are friends from when Tessa was touring in Los Angeles with her former singing partner Tanner.

Phyllis asks Daniel to help her with her plan to get Marchetti for Summer so they can build a family legacy. Daniel is worried that Phyllis’s plan will not work and she will either get hurt or end up with nothing.

Mariah is in a hotel room in an unknown location hallucinating a long conversation with Ian Ward. Ian persuades Mariah to let go of her old life and get back on the path. Mariah tells Ian, although she loves Tessa and Aria, she has to let them go of them like he told her so they can live a happy life.

Tessa tells Daniel that she has decided to move on with her life so she has started divorce proceedings.

Matt tells Nick that he wants five million dollars deposited into his account within the hour in order for him to get back Sienna for Noah . Matt also shows Nick a video of Sienna to prove to him that Sienna is still alive. Matt meets with Annie later at the motel where they are staying and tells her that he intends to take the money but he is going to kill Noah and Sienna.

The residents in Genoa City celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Kyle persuades Victoria to try and persuade Victor not to ruin Jabot.

Tessa tells Daniel that she was looking at her family tracker app and she found out that Mariah checked out of the clinic in Boston and was headed west. Tessa tells Daniel that she left a message on Mariah ‘s phone wishing her Happy Holidays and Mariah texted her that she checked out of the clinic and she wasn’t coming home. Tessa tells Daniel she feels alone and needs to feel loved. Daniel and Tessa go back to his place and have sex. Tessa tells Daniel she doesn’t regret having sex with him because it is the first time she has felt safe in a long time.

Adam and Sally share a burger and bring in the New Year’s together since Chelsea has the flu and Billy is out of town on a business trip.

Lily goes to Cane’s train and calls him a liar because she saw him kissing Phyllis. Cane tells Lily that Phyllis kissed him and he pushed her away immediately because he only loves her, he doesn’t love Phyllis. Cane tells Lily to stop denying that they belong together and Cane gives Lily a kiss.

Audra tells Sally that she is not giving up her battle with Claire although Sally advises Audra to stay away from Claire. Sally later tells Billy she thinks Audra has a secret from her time in Los Angeles.

Nikki tells Jack that she can’t go through with her ultimatum that she gave Victor to leave him if he ruined Jabot with the AI program. Nikki tells Jack will find another way to stop Victor from ruining Jabot.

Holden tells Audra he is going to tell Claire everything about what happened in Los Angeles, and he doesn’t care if he goes down too.

Victor gives Michael a Roman coin as a Christmas gift and asks if he can trust him again. Michael lies to Victor and tells him that he can trust him.

Sally tells Adam that he has no conscience if he can go after Jabot just because Victor told him to do it. Chelsea later tells Adam Sally is right and that if he continues to use Newman Media as a weapon against Jabot she can’t work with him anymore.

Kyle tells Claire that he realizes that she wants to be alone right now and not be in a relationship. Kyle tells Claire that he hopes she will find the happiness for which she is searching.

Some of the residents of Genoa City celebrate Christmas Eve.

Jack and Diane spend a romantic Christmas Eve together. Jack and Diane exchange gifts even though they had decided to not exchange gifts this year. Diane gives Jack a book about the life of Max Factor. Jack gives Diane a beautiful necklace. Jack and Diane dance and are optimistic that the Abbot family will be unstoppable in 2026.

Victor and Nikki spend Christmas Eve together and call a truce to their argument for tonight. Victor gives Nikki a beautiful necklace that once belonged to Marie Antonette’s mother Maria Theresa. Nikki gives Victor a book by his favorite philosopher. Victor appreciates Nikki being with him on Christmas Eve because his mother left him at the orphanage on Christmas Eve when he was seven years old because she couldn’t afford to take care of him after his father left him.

Billy and Sally invite Victoria, Johnny, and Katie to decorate their tree. Victoria, Johnny, and Katie bring the tree to Billy and Sally’s house but the tree is small since it was the last tree left in the tree lot. Billy forgot to get the decorations out of storage so everyone strings popcorn to decorate the tree. Katie and Johnny make a star out of tin foil to put on top of the tree. Sally and Victoria have a long talk where Sally tells Victoria about Sally’s father who was a gambler who never kept his promises to her or her mother. Sally tells Victoria that Billy reminds her a lot of her father and Billy has to keep her promise to her about Abbott Communications because she can’t live through the pain her father caused her again. Sally is unaware that Billy overheard the conversation she had with Victoria.

The cast members of Young and the Restless come out at the end of the episode thanking the viewers for allowing them to come into their homes every day. The cast also wishes everyone the best this holiday season.

Phyllis tells Billy what she wants in exchange for stealing the AI program from Victor. Phyllis proposes the Abbotts give Summer Marchetti because Summer has put her heart and soul into the company..

Diane asks Michael to help her and Jack stop Victor from ruining Jabot. Michael tells Diane he has tried to stop Victor, but he doesn’t know what else he can do.

Nikki demands that Victor give her the AI program so she can destroy it. Nikki also wants Victor to end this war with Jack. She also wants Victor to tell Adam to retract the Newman Media story about Jabot. Nikki also wants Victor to apologize to Jack and, if Victor doesn’t do what she want…she will leave him. Victor is angry that Nikki believes in Jack instead of him and he tells Nikki he doesn’t like being threatened by anyone…not even her. So, if she wants to leave, there is the door.

Mitch tells Annie to get Sienna alone and handle her because this time the entire Newman family will pay for what they have done to him.

Detective Burrow arrives at Sharon ‘s place and tells Nick and Sharon that he was able to get away from Annie, and he wants to catch Annie and Matt to put them both in prison in Los Angeles. Nick tells him that he will help him in any way possible in order to catch Annie and Matt.

Annie finds Noah and Sienna at the park overlook and she hits Noah in the head with her gun and tells Sienna that they need to go for a ride.

Billy talks to Phyllis and tries to persuade her to steal the AI program from Victor and give it to the Abbotts and she can name her price to do it. Phyllis agrees to think about it and contact him when she has made her decision.

Diane tells Jack and Kyle that she knows where she can get proof that Victor stole the AI program and, if they get that proof , they can put Victor in prison.

Jack feels betrayed by Adam and Chelsea that they just follow Victor’s orders and because of the story they published. Jabot employees could lose their jobs before Christmas. Chelsea later tells Adam that she is considering leaving Newman Media because she wants to be a person of which Connor can be proud.

Audra guesses that the secret investor in Abbott Communications is Jill Abbott. Sally thinks it would be a good idea for Audra to try and persuade Jill to let her work at Abbott Communications. Sally advises Audra not to mention that she hates Kyle because Jill respects Jack and she won’t like it if she speaks badly about Kyle. Sally tries to persuade Audra to let go of her obsession with Kyle. Audra tells Sally that she isn’t obsessed with Kyle or in love with him either.

Kyle tells Claire that the Abbott family thinks that someone stole the AI program from Cane and gave it to Victor. Kyle also explains to Claire that Jack and Victor had a truce until Victor thought that Jack put Nikki’s life at risk when he took pills and revived his addiction to pain killers to shock Nikki into going into rehab.

Claire can’t believe that Victor would use the AI program against Jack. Jack l later asks Kyle to talk to both Claire and Summer to see if they will help them save Jabot. Jack wants Kyle to ask Summer if she will persuade Phyllis to take the AI program from Victor and give it to him so they can destroy it. Jack wants Kyle to talk to Claire and ask her to persuade Victor not to ruin Jabot. Kyle agrees to talk to both Claire and Summer but he isn’t sure they will help save Jabot.

Claire talks to Nikki and she tells her that everything Kyle told her about Victir and the AI program is true. Nikki doesn’t know what to do to change Victor’s mind about ruining Jabot! Nikki tells Claire that if Victor ruins Jabot she will never forgive him for doing it.
