Leo: OH Gwennie. Oh, thank God I found you.
Gwen: OH, my God, Marty, what are you doing here?
Leo: I’m here for the world-famous Alamainian Tchotchkes Fair. What do you think I’m doing here? I came to rescue you.
Dimitri: I take it you found the place without too much trouble?
Leo: Well, Maps actually sent me to a nightclub called Laut und Lustig, which I learned is German for “ Loud and Fun.” Not the most creative name, but I suppose you do know what you’re in for.
Dimitri: And I see you brought your meandering anecdotes with you.
Leo: No, just a personal item and one carry-on. Traveling light.
Leo: Gwennie, you’re not hurt or anything, right? You’re okay?
Gwen: Oh, yeah, you know. I’m just swell, just taking this all in, having an “Eat, Pray, Love” moment. No, of course I’m not bloody okay.
Leo: Yeah, of course not. Of course not. I mean, how could you be? They’re feeding you gastronomic atrocities. Is he not letting you shower? Do you at least have a cozy pillow?
Dimitri: I assure you, I have been the most gracious of hosts.
Gwen: Oh, yes. You’re so very gracious. You’re just ripe for a five-star dazzling review, if you hadn’t kidnapped me in broad daylight and held me against my will.
Dimitri: Gwen, you should be on cloud nine right now. The cavalry has arrived to rescue you.
Gwen: I’m, yes, my knight in shining armor.
Leo: Speaking of, those dudes must have been schvitzing up a storm in those cranking metal vests, ugh.
Gwen: Leo, now is not the time, please.
Leo: Yes, yes, of course not. I know. Listen, and I just want to say, even though it was a very long and very turbulent flight, and I couldn’t sleep at all and all I ate was one tiny bag of cashews, and I am still recovering from a concussion so I’m kind of seeing the world as, like, abstract art, just being here with you right now, I am so relieved, I could break out in song period. I won’t, but I could.
