Daniel, Lucy, Phyllis, and Summer put up the Christmas tree and decorate Daniel and Lucy’s apartment for Christmas. The family has a hard time celebrating Christmas without Heather but they share memories of her and that makes things a little easier for them.

Sharon remembers that someone else was in the apartment with her and Heather because she remembers a hand that was wearing a glove touching her shoulder before she blacked out.

Michael tells Nick and Sharon they have to get more proof because the court doesn’t accept hypnosis as proof. Michael is going to put his investigator to work on getting proof of what Sharon remembers.

Ian Ward introduces himself to Tessa as Warren Masters, a prison chaplain. Warren tells Tessa he wants to make a new start in Genoa City. Tessa shows Warren pictures of baby Aria and tells her about Mariah.

Detective Denise Toliver tells Amy and Nate she found Damian in Los Angeles but she advises them to make a decision quickly if they want to go see him because he doesn’t like to stay in one place for too long. Denise doesn’t want to go to Los Angeles with Nate because she thinks Damian will hate her once he finds out Nate Sr. Is his biological father. Nate persuades her to go with him assuring her that he will help her tell Damian the truth.

Daniel and Lucy go through Heather ‘s things and they decide to donate most of it to charity.

Alan hypnotized Sharon and she remembered that Heather got up from the floor twice after she pushed her down twice. Sharon also remembers that Heather ran away from her and was near the front door of the apartment. Sharon then felt weak and dizzy and fell on top of the couch. Sharon then heard Heather scream before she closed her eyes and passed out. Sharon comes out of hypnosis and knows she didn’t kill Heather but she doesn’t know how Heather died or who killed her.

Claire worries that she will let Nikki down, but Nikki assures Claire that she has a wonderful future of Chancellor Industries. Claire worries that Victor will continue to disapprove of her relationship with Kyle. Claire tells Nikki she is worried that Victor will continue to use Kyle to hurt Jack just because he doesn’t approve of her relationship with Kyle. Nikki tells Claire not to worry about her grandpa because she will run interference for her with Victor.

Nate tells Amy that Denise Toliver is following a lead on Damian in Los Angeles. Nate tells Amy that Damian has had a long list of jobs that he starts and then quits.

Billy wants financial help from Jack so he can destabilize Chancellor Industries and, once it is weakened, buy back the company for a cheaper price. Jack refuses to help Billy because he doesn’t want to hurt Nikki. Billy tells Jack that he doesn’t want to be an Abbott anymore and they are no longer brothers.

Diane is hurt when Kyle tells her he isn’t sure if he can trust her yet. Jack assures Diane that he loves and trusts her and that Kyle will trust her again.

Phyllis feels betrayed by Michael and Lauren because she doesn’t like that Michael is trying to help Sharon go free by building a defense of temporary insanity. Phyllis tells Michael and Lauren they are no longer friends.

Nate gets a text message from Denise Tolliver, the private detective that Nate hired to find his half-brother Damian. Denise tells Nate that she is following a lead in Los Angeles.

The Winter family has dinner to celebrate Lily coming back to the family company. Nate invites Audra to the family dinner and Audra cries a little because she is moved the Winters family is so close.

Devon later tells Abby that he thinks Audra’s tears were an act to try and win over Nate’s family and get even closer to Nate.

Kyle and Jack have a long overdue talk where Kyle apologizes to Jack for all the pain he caused him and Diane. Jack apologizes to Kyle and tells him he should have stepped in sooner to help fix the problems he and Diane were having at Jabot. Kyle wonders if Jack trusts Diane because their arguments seemed very real. Jack assures Kyle that he loves and trusts Diane and that their arguments were only an act.

Kyle wants to know what Jack thinks about his relationship with Claire. Jack thinks Claire is a wonderful person and she and Kyle are good for each other except Jack worries that Victor will be a problem for Kyle and Claire.

Victor tells Claire that one day she will have to choose between her family and Kyle. Claire hopes that she will never need to make that choice.

Abby persuades Lily to accept Devon’s job offer to return to work at Winters.

Jack finally tells Billy that he and Diane pretended to fight and that they were going to get a divorce in order to shake some sense into Kyle. Jack advises Billy not to go to war with Victor. Billy is surprised that Jack is giving him advice when he and Diane just conned Victor and got the best of him. Billy talks to Diane and asks her how she and Jack conned Victor. Diane doesn’t think Billy should get revenge on Victor. Diane tells Billy she has an idea to keep him out of trouble.

Victor tells Michael that he has a plan to destroy Jabot from the inside and he needs his help to do it.

Phyllis tells Lauren she is having memories of the accident and Sharon may not have run her off the road. Faith and Sharon overhear the conversation and demand answers from Phyllis. Phyllis doesn’t tell Sharon anything but tells her to enjoy her freedom because it won’t last long.

Faith and Sharon tell Michael what Phyllis told Lauren. Sharon tells Michael that she is going to be hypnotized to find out what happened the day Heather died.

Abby and Devon return from their honeymoon and tell Ashley all about it. Abby is worried when Ashley tells her she has been having nightmares about the abuse she suffered in Paris. Abby worries that Ashley’s Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) might return but Ashley assures her she is fine.

Nate tells Audra he has hired a private detective to find his half-brother Damien.

Ian goes to Crimson Lights and overhears Nick and Mariah talking and finds out that they are going to investigate who put PCP in her pills.

Faith gets upset with Phyllis because she is picking on Sharon so she tells her Sharon was drugged. Phyllis tells Daniel about the theory that Sharon was drugged and that she is sure that Michael came up with this theory to keep Sharon from going to prison. Nick, Mariah, and Faith persuade Sharon not to change her plea and fight to stay out of prison. Sharon wants to get a professional hypnotist to see if hypnosis can help her remember what happened the day Heather was killed.

Phyllis remembers that the car that hit her was a truck and not Sharon’s car. Phyllis lets the information slip in front of Summer and Christine. Christine tells Daniel she is going to go back on tour with Danny and tells Daniel that Phyllis remembered being hit by a truck and not Sharon’s car. Daniel later tells Summer that he is going to make sure that Sharon pays for killing Heather even if she wasn’t the person whose car made Phyllis crash into a tree.

Nick tells Adam not to try and support Sharon right now because they are toxic for each other even when they are just friends. Nick tells Adam to concentrate on helping Connor and his job at Newman Media.

Diane advises Jack to tell Kyle that he has forgiven him for everything he did so he can begin to repair the relationship between them. Jack tells Diane he wants to make Glissade a part of Jabot and start a classic line of Jabot cosmetics that celebrates the history of Jabot. Jack wants to honor his father with the cosmetics line and he wants Diane to be in charge of Glissade. Diane happily accepts Jack’s job offer.

Summer senses that Kyle and Claire have gotten closer when she sees them having lunch at Society. Summer asks Kyle and Claire if their relationship has changed and he tells her that he and Claire have gotten closer.

Nick is sure that someone tampered with Sharon’s medication and he won’t let her give up on herself and plead guilty.

Kyle and Claire have sex and, afterwards, Claire tells Kyle it was her first time. Claire tries a little and tells Kyle she still feels sad about all the years she lost with her family but she is very happy about her new life.

Jordan is walking around town in a blonde wig and hat trying to find out how Sharon ‘s family is dealing with the fact that Sharon could go to prison for killing Heather. Jordan is wearing a blonde wig and hat so nobody will recognize her. Jordan sees Claire and Kyle outside of Society.

Nick persuades Chance to have Sharron’s old dosage of pills tested because he thinks that someone tampered with the pills. Sharon insists on changing her plea to guilty because she wants to pay for her crimes. Nick asks Sharon to wait on the test results of the pills before the changes her plea to guilty.

The residents of Genoa City celebrate Thanksgiving.

Nate celebrates at his apartment with Audra and Amy Lewis. Nate tells Amy that he got the DNA results that prove that Damian is his brother. Nate tells Amy he will help Amy find Damian. Nate tells Amy that he isn’t sure he wants a relationship with Damian yet.

The Abbotts spend Thanksgiving together but Billy isn’t there.

Ashley and Traci are hurt that Jack and Diane pretended to hate each other and fooled everyone. Jack and Diane tell everyone they had to do something drastic to make Kyle realize that Victor was using him.

Diane tells Kyle that she wants him to take his rightful place as co-CEO of Jabot.

Claire tells Victor she didn’t like the way he acquired Chancellor Industries and what he did to Billy, Kyle, and, Lily.

Claire tells Nikki she accepts the job as her assistant.

The Abbotts and the Newmans are grateful that their family made it through a tough year.

Sharon asks Nick to take care of Faith because the insanity plea may not work and she may spend her life in prison.

Nikki officially takes over Chancellor Industries. Nikki asks Claire to work with her but Claire still wants to think about it.

Jack and Diane discover that Victor sold all the divisions of Glissade and just left them with the company. Kyle tells Diane that he realized that he was trying to undermine her at Jabot because he was still angry with her for abandoning him when he was a child. Kyle apologizes to Jack and Diane for what he did to them. Jack and Diane want to move forward from here but Kyle says he doesn’t know what to do next because he doesn’t know where he belongs.

Billy asks Phyllis to team up with him to bring down Victor.

Summer can’t forgive Chance for arresting Daniel and not looking for any other suspects. Summer thinks Chance made a mistake and stopped doing his job. Chance doesn’t think he made a mistake and they need to figure out a way to get past this situation but Summer thinks they need a break from each other for a while.

Billy asks Jack for a job as co-CEO. Jack tells Billy he can’t give him a job and can’t tell him the reason why yet. Billy is depressed and thinks his family is a screw up.

Sally listens to Billy and cheers him up and makes him laugh. Billy and Sally kiss after their talk.

Lucy returned home and talks to Daniel and Summer about her time on tour with grandpa Danny.

Lucy sits beside Phyllis’ bedside at the hospital and asks her to wake up because Daniel needs her. Lucy gives Phyllis her friendship bracelet and tells her she loves her. Phyllis opens her eyes. Daniel, Lucy, and Summer are happy she is awake.

Sally tells Chelsea that she has accepted the inevitable, that she and Adam belong together because Adam has never stopped loving her. Chelsea tells Sally that she and Adam will never get back together. Sally thinks Chelsea is lying to herself about her feelings for Adam.

Diane tells Jack there is something suspicious about how easily Victor gave her Glissade. Diane thinks the only way they will heal the rift with Kyle is to make him co-CEO of Jabot. Jack and Diane decide to keep up the act that they are getting a divorce until Jabot officially belongs to Diane.

Billy tells Jack that he has not only lost Abbott-Chancellor but he has lost the relationship with his mother too.

Daniel demands that Sharon tell him why she killed Heather. Sharon tells Daniel she never intended to kill Heather and apologizes for all the pain she has caused him and Lucy.

Jordan is grateful to Ian for the identity swap that helped her escape from prison. Jordan makes it clear they are equal partners in this plan. Ian asks Jordan to find out how Faith and Mariah are being affected by Sharon being arrested for Heather’s
murder.

Daniel tells Nick he will make sure Sharon serves time in prison for what she has done and she doesn’t spend time in a psychiatric ward. Michael tells Christine he is going to use the insanity defense to help Sharon. Daniel and Summer worry because Phyllis still hasn’t awakened and remains unconscious.
