After receiving a phone call, Chase hopped out of the shower and insisted that he’d be there. Meanwhile, Hamilton didn’t like leaving Liz alone while her stalker was still on the loose and had a solution.  Before Finn could explain, Chase showed up for the surveillance project Finn roped him into.  Liz objected since she didn’t need a babysitter, but Chase offered to sleep during the day and keep watch at night.  Chase revealed some motion-activated cameras and felt confident that no one could get into the house undetected.  Liz was willing to give up her privacy for a couple days to get to the bottom of this.  Outside Kelly’s, Laura asked what Aiden was looking at on his phone, so he showed her a Ouija board article and asked some questions.  Laura insisted it was just a game and didn’t actually work.  When Lucy appeared, she talked to Laura about Deception’s successful IPO launch and the congratulatory flowers she’d been getting from all the men in her life.  Lucy slipped up by mentioning Martin’s name, but Laura knew they were still dating.  After Laura stepped away, Aiden asked Lucy about talking to spirits and claimed it was for a school project – though in his mind he thought about Franco’s ghost.  Lucy definitely thought there were other realms that could be contacted, but she felt it was best to leave it to the experts.  Later, Aiden got on his phone again to make a Ouija board purchase. He lied to Laura about wanting to get an emulsion blender from the store so he could pick it up.

At the Metro Court, Michael and Willow finished giving Smoltz their version of events regarding Nina. They wanted Smoltz to get the first part of the series out before the visitation hearing to sway the court of public opinion.  Next, Harmony got a call from Brendon and learned that their meeting had been pushed up to now. She was eager to end this and looked at a syringe in her purse.  Harmony stopped to talk to Willow briefly and learned there’d probably be more media scrutiny to the story that was coming out.  Willow assumed Harmony’s past would come up, but she insisted she didn’t see her mom that way anymore and knew she’d turned her life around.

In a secluded area, Harmony changed her mind about the syringe and gave Brendon a small sum of money.  It was barely $1,000 and enraged Brendon, who refused to let Harmony pay the rest in installments and threatened to reveal the truth about Willow.Brendon thought maybe he should switch tactics and go to Michael.  Brendon figured Michael might pay to keep the news that Willow was Nina’s daughter under wraps.  Harmony said Brendon would get arrested for blackmail if he was wrong, but that was a risk that he was willing to take.  Brendon told Harmony to keep her payment and thought he could do much better.  There was a struggle as Harmony tried to stop him, so the syringe fell out – and that got the wheels turning for Brendon.

At his gym, Sonny talks to Dante about looking into Esme as the one who made the sex tape. Dante reminds him that he can’t discuss anything to do with official police business. Brando arrives in a suit, and they ask what is with his getup. Brando is headed to The Savoy for the Deception IPO launch. Brando tells Sonny and Dante that Sasha could use a big success after all the loss she’s suffered recently.  Sonny reminds Brando that Brando deserves something good in his life too.  Sonny and Dante point out that Brando and Sasha seem to have overcome the trauma of the loss of Liam.  The three of them are unaware that Sasha has begun using drugs again to get through the loss of Liam.

Scott meets Ava at Charlie’s and asks why they are meeting at the bar and not at Wyndemere.  Ava says she stayed in town last night.  Scott wants to know if there is trouble on Spoon Island.  “Trouble with a capital E.”  She tells him that her husband has lost his mind and invited Esme to stay at Wyndemere.  The pregnancy was mentioned and Laura overhears, she tells them to repeat themselves because she doesn’t want to believe her ears. Ava says it’s only a possibility but she doesn’t know for sure. Laura leaves Charlie’s and heads out to find Nikolas.

At the Savoy, Curtis tells Selina that she is full of surprises, however, he won’t change his mind about her offer. Selina still believes there is a chance of bringing him to her side. Nina approaches them, and Curtis introduces Nina and Selina. Nina notes they have a mutual acquaintance, Sonny. Selina says he is a valuable friend, and one can never have too many of those. Ms. Wu excuses herself, and Curtis thinks she is going to be trouble.

Brando arrives with flowers, which Gladys immediately thinks are for her and grabs them. He explains they are for Sasha. After handing them to Sasha, Sasha gives Gladys one of the roses.

Lucy introduces Sasha to the stage to say a few words about this amazing day for Deception. Sasha downs more pills to be able to make it through the speech. Sasha praises the dedicated women she works with, as well as their friends and family for their support.

At Liz’s place, she wakes up after her nightmare and finds the words, “Don’t Forget Me” on one of Franco’s paintings in fresh red paint. Jake comes down and catches her with it and says “it happened again.” Aiden follows, and Liz assures the boys she’ll do whatever it takes to protect them, even if she has to do it alone. Jake says she doesn’t have to and makes a call for help. Finn arrives after Jake calls him for help. Liz tells them about her strange dream of a man and waking up to find the painting. Finn considers this new piece of evidence a lead and says it’s time to call in reinforcements. Dante arrives, and Liz reveals she disabled the alarm system because the kids kept accidentally setting it off. Liz fears someone was in her house, and the reason she heard them in her dream is that they stood over her while she slept. Dante agrees this person is getting bolder.

Dante bags the painting to check for prints, and also will need Liz to submit hers to exclude her. Dante also feels they may not be safe there seeing her home has been accessed multiple times. Dante heads out, and Liz tells Finn that she’ll see if the boys can stay with Laura. He asks where she will stay. Liz reveals she’ll stay put in her house and won’t be run out of the home she shared with her husband. Meanwhile, Aiden worries that it isn’t a person doing this, and says to Jake, ‘What if it’s Franco?”

At Wyndemere, Esme finds that Spencer has breakfast waiting in the living room for her. She thanks him for thinking of her especially since they know she’s not pregnant. She admits she was afraid he’d kick her out. Nikolas enters and notes there is no reason for her to go anywhere. Spencer swears he’d never let anyone hurt her, not even his Uncle Sonny.

Laura knows they don’t want that, but they also don’t want his wife to leave him. Nikolas reveals he stepped in because Spencer first confided in Victor, and he never had a chance to tell that to Ava. She pushes him to work on salvaging his marriage. He excuses himself, and Esme enters. She tries to turn around and leave, but Laura tells her they need to have words.

Spencer arrives at Sonny’s gym to discuss Esme, and why Sonny thought it was okay to scare the hell out of her. Sonny tells Spencer what happened at his restaurant, including Esme’s fake waterworks when Nikolas and Victor arrived. Spencer knows Sonny wouldn’t hurt Esme, but he can’t turn his back on her. Sonny tells him that his loyalty should be to those who have been on his side, and he’s backing the wrong person. Sonny believes Esme is playing a game and will use Spencer to get what she wants. He warns Spencer that he is dangerously close to following his mistakes and hurting the people he loves because of his choices.

Sonny receives Brick in his office. Brick asks how he can help him. Sonny tells him there has been a void in his life he’s been trying to fill since Jason died. Sonny can’t run the business alone. Brick accepts the job. Sonny explains another matter he needs his help with and brings up the tape of Joss and Cam. Brick knows about it and calls it disgusting. Sonny has a lead on who made it, but no proof. It is Sonny’s hope they can get justice for Cam and Joss while getting Esme out of Spencer’s life for good.

In Alexis’ office, she’s shocked when Brendan, Neil’s brother appears at her door. She remembers him all too well and asks what he wants. He explains he was in pain when he lashed out at her at his brother’s funeral, and he apologizes. He explains he’s run into some bad luck lately, a failed marriage and business, and it has made him a more humble person. Alexis has a feeling he is lying and is proven correct when she gets him to reveal his real self again.  He again blames Alexis for Neil’s death. Brendan reminds Alexis how expensive funerals are and insists she pay up for the part she played in Neil’s death. Alexis tells Brendan she doesn’t believe Neil’s death was an accident, and she won’t be antagonized by his loser brother.

At Charlie’s, Nina asks Harmony how things went with Michael and Willow. She tells Nina that Willow doesn’t feel it’s in Wiley’s best interest to have contact with her. Nina says if they want a fight then she’ll give them one. Harmony says if she gives it time, Willow may come around. Nina doubts it because Willow is incapable of standing up to Michael or Carly. Angry, Harmony snaps, “Willow is just as strong as her mother!” Nina says she’s not, and Willow would be lucky to have one drop of Harmony’s courage. Harmony claims she has an appointment she forgot about and rushes out.

Harmony arrives at Alexis’ office, sees Brendan, and assumes Alexis is busy. Alexis says she’s not and introduces Brendan to Harmony. Brendan thinks he recognizes Harmony, but she’s never met him and assumes he knows her name from the Dawn of Day scandal. Alexis fills Harmony in on the visit, and that Brendan is in financial trouble and thinks she owes him. Alexis admits he brought up Neil’s death again and made more ridiculous demands about her owing him. Alexis turns out the lights and they go to head home, when she remembers she left her phone behind. Alexis goes back into her dark office, Harmony, looking slightly crazed, follows Alexis into her dark office, unbeknownst to her.

Brendan returns to his motel room and looks through a briefcase of Neil’s belongings. He finds a thick file on Harmony Miller. 

Nikolas brings Esme and Spencer home to Wyndemere. Spencer wonders when his father will bring Ava up to speed. Nikolas explains that Ava is at Trina’s hearing. Esme says that she can’t believe Spencer isn’t there. Nikolas tries to change the subject, but Spencer says it’s useless as Esme’s obsessed with Trina. Esme storms off to take her bag to her room.

Nikolas asks Spencer to take it easy on her, but Spencer says Esme pushes his buttons. He also asks if there is a bomb shelter on the island, as he’d like to be in it when he tells Ava that he and Esme have taken up residence at Wyndemere again. Spencer warns that having Ava under the same roof with Esme right now is a recipe for disaster. Nikolas thinks the situation will be fine if they can just confirm that Esme is in fact pregnant.

In court, Trina pleads not guilty. The judge releases Trina without bond, and Trina is released, pending her trial date. Portia, Curtis and Ava all rush to hug Trina and tell her how proud they are of her. Joss and Cam follow and tell Trina that she has their full support.

Portia and Curtis bring Trina to their new home. Trina thanks them for their support, and Curtis offers his PI skills to help prove Esme’s guilt. Trina expresses her concern that she’ll be found guilty, but Portia tells her that won’t happen. Trina heads to take a bath, and Portia breaks down. She worries Trina could be right.

Back at Wyndemere, Esme tells Spencer that she just read that Trina pled not guilty. Spencer asks Esme why she hasn’t taken the pregnancy test. Esme makes more ridiculous excuses about how she is “scared” to take the test. Esme immediately starts manipulating Spencer again by telling him that having her at Wyndemere will be to his advantage because it will drive Nikolas and Ava apart again.
