Hayley is still deeply shaken from her harrowing near-death experience when Leslie corners her at Uptown. Leslie relentlessly forces her to have a drink and aggressively grills her to find out exactly what leverage she is holding over the men. When Leslie drops Marcel’s name, Hayley completely loses her composure and storms out in a panic. Later, Randy confronts Hayley and fiercely cuts ties with his cousin, letting her know he is completely done with her games and demands she lose his number. Over at the hospital, Anita seeks a moment of peace through music while dealing with the painful psychological trauma of being unable to sing since her cancer treatments. Nicole stands by her side, helping her process the hidden emotional pain, before having a candid conversation with Vanessa regarding the dangerous gambles she is taking with Joey.
Meanwhile, Dani and Andre face a major turning point that forces them to completely alter the rules of their marriage. Andre aggressively demands the absolute truth from Dani regarding Bill’s mounting problems. While Dani desperately tries to navigate the tension, she admits she knows Andre is hiding heavy secrets of his own. Elsewhere, Deanna dismisses Nicole’s advice and instead turns to Noah to get a completely different perspective on Vanessa’s complicated relationship. Finally, Ted prepares a major surprise vacation for Shanice, but a hidden alliance reveals that Ted and Ashley are secretly in cahoots, casting a dark shadow over his romantic plans.
