Victoria goes to Cane ‘s train to tell Cane that she called Lily, Mattie, and Charlie that he used the AI program to take over Newman Enterprises do not hinge and now his family wants nothing to do with him. Cane tells Victoria that what his family thinks doesn’t hurt him anymore.

Sally tries to persuade Billy not to take Cane’s offer but, in the end, she tells him that she won’t stand in his way. Billy goes to Cane’s train and tells him that he wants to accept his offer. Phyllis tells Cane that he shouldn’t let Billy run Chancellor Industries because he will run it into the ground.

Billy wonders if Cane is going to honor the deal he offered him or if he is going to let Phyllis call the shots.

Victor tells Nick that he took care of Matt Clark and he doesn’t have to worry about him anymore.

Daniel isn’t happy that Phyllis is taking over Newman Enterprises, and he thinks Summer will also be angry with her for doing this to her father’s family. Phyllis tells Daniel that if he and Summer can’t be happy for her they never really love her. Daniel tells Tessa that he thinks there is something happening between them and Tessa agrees that there is something happening between them.

Sally comes to see Cane on his train and tells him that by making Billy the offer of Chancellor Industries he is contributing to releasing Billy’s demons again. Phyllis isn’t happy because Cane made the offer because he thinks Billy will run Chancellor Industries into the ground. Cane tells Phyllis to concentrate on running Newman Enterprises and not worry about anything else since he is the one whose decisions really matter.

Jack goes to the Newman ranch to tell Nikki how sorry he is that Chancellor Industries is caught up in this AI program mess. Nikki thanks Jack for all of his support this past year. Nikki tells Jack that she doesn’t know what she would do without his friendship. Victor walks into the house just as Nikki and Jack are hugging each other.

Victoria tells Billy that the AI program has turned on its host and is destroying Newman Enterprises. Victoria tells Billy not to use her as the unnamed source when he publishes his article. Victoria tells Billy that she had a talk with Sally who is worried that he is going to become obsessed with Chancellor Industries again. Billy tells Victoria that Chancellor Industries doesn’t matter to him anymore. Nick persuades Victor to let Matt’s victims have five minutes to tell him what they think of him.

Noah, Sienna, Nick, and Sharon tell Matt what a horrible person he is and why they are glad that he is going to pay for all his crimes. Nick is in a lot of pain from his leg injury and Sharon tells him she can stay in her guest room, and she will take him back to the hospital tomorrow.

YBilly and Sally argue because Sally thinks that, if Billy decides to run Chancellor Industries, he will be making the biggest mistake of his life. Billy insists that he hasn’t decided what he is going to do yet. Sally tells Billy that if that if he decides to run Chancellor Industries she will not be happy.

Nick persuades Jack and Kyle to give him Matt Clark and in exchange he guarantees that Newman Enterprises won’t use the AI program to get control of Jabot. Nick takes Matt to the Newman Ranch and hides him somewhere on the property. Noah finds Nick outside and sees blood on Nick ‘s hand and he asks Nick if Matt is dead. Nick tells Noah that he made a deal with Jack and Jack gave him Matt. Noah asks Nick what he is going to do with Matt.

Cane offers Billy Chancellor Industries to run, and Billy tells him he will think about it and have an answer for him soon. Billy tells Sally about Cane offering him Chancellor Industries.

Nick asks Phyllis to stop the takeover of Newman Enterprises, or she might lose Daniel and Summer once they find out that she and Cane took over Newman Enterprises. Nick tells Phyllis that he is going to grind her and Cane into dust and enjoy doing it.

Nick later calls Summer what Phyllis did to Newman Enterprises. Cane gives Phyllis one last chance to get out of their business partnership so she won’t lose the respect of Daniel and Summer but she says Daniel and Summer will understand what she did so she is going to burn down the Newmans.

Victor tries to make a deal with Cane and Phyllis to buy back Newman Enterprises. Cane and Phyllis tell Victor to accept the fact that he has lost and they have won. Cane and Phyllis tell Victor that they will not negotiate with him. Cane offers Victor Arabesque at pennies on the dollar. Victor tells Phyllis that Summer will hate her for taking away Newman Enterprises from her family.

Nick gets out of the hospital against medical advice to help his family save Newman Enterprises. Nick thinks that he is the only person who can persuade Phyllis to stop the cyber-attack against Newman Enterprises.

Jack wants to wait and make sure it actually happens before he celebrates. Nikki tells Victoria that the Abbott security team caught Matt, but Victor lets him go and she is worried he might come after them. Victoria tells Victor, Nikki, and Adam has started taking the company offline, but the AI program is too fast and one of the divisions of the company is gone.

Victor figures out that Cane and Phyllis are behind the cyberattack and he goes to them and asks them what they want to stop the attack against Newman Enterprises.

Cane tells Phyllis that the AI program has something built in to it that will make it eat it’s host company that is why Victor ruined Arabesque so easily.

Jack tells Victor that he will give Matt Clark to him if he gives the AI program to him so he can destroy it. Victor asks to see Matt and, when Matt is brought out, Nikki pleads with Victor to give the AI program to Jack.

Nick awakens and he seems fine but after talking to Sharon he has pain and he tells Sharon that she should go find a nurse.

Gio asks Wiley to call Michael and make sure that it is okay for him to play the Tron video game. Wiley calls Michael and an adorable ringtone of Wiley ‘s voice saying “Daddy it’s me Wiley pick up“ Kai and Trina almost rule out Michael as Drew’s shooter. Drew loses control on the witness stand while Acting District Attorney Turner is questioning him. Drew admits how much he hates Michael because he took Aurora Media, the Quartermaine name, and turned his family against him.

Alexis must undo the damage Drew did to Willow’s case, so Alexis has no choice but to put Willow on the witness stand in her own defense. Acting District Attorney Turner asks Willow if she has ever touched Edward’s gun. Willow remembers touching the gun but she lies and tells the court that she has never touched the gun.

Acting District Attorney Turner asks Willow what she would do for children and she tells the court she would do anything for her children but, as she is telling the court the words, Willow remembers being outside Drew’s house in her car dressed in black and holding Edward’s gun. The audience sees black shoes walking into Drew’s house and two shots ring out.

Acting District Attorney Turner tells Dante that Willow just might have saved herself because she remained calm and she was unable to break her. Wiley makes a phone call and Kai and Trina hear the “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star “ ringtone, and they both turn in time to hear Willow tell Wiley she is glad that he called her because they will see each other very soon.

Holden persuades Audra to leave Claire alone and he will not tell Claire about the drunk art dealer that he defended her against when the man asked for the money back that she stole from him. Holden assures Audra that the man died when he hit him on the head and then he buried the body in an unmarked grave.

Billy overhears Phyllis asking Cane to help her get the AI program from Victor so they can use it to take Newman Enterprises from Victor.

Kyle tells Jack and Diane that he has had the Abbott security team keeping a close eye on the Newmans so they would know Victor’s next move against them. Kyle also tells Jack and Diane that the Abbott security team found out that a man from Nick and Sharon ‘s past has been harassing them and the man is Newman enemy number one. The security team brings Matt in the house and Jack immediately recognizes Matt and calls Victor to tell him that he has Matt with him.

Nick gets into a car crash because Matt grabbed him and tried to choke him. Nick regains consciousness still trapped in the car and calls Victor to tell him to send help. Nick is taken to the hospital where he has to have surgery to fix his broken leg. Matt is injured but manages to walk to a park bench and sit down he vows to kill Nick.

Sienna and Tessa catch up because they are friends from when Tessa was touring in Los Angeles with her former singing partner Tanner.

Phyllis asks Daniel to help her with her plan to get Marchetti for Summer so they can build a family legacy. Daniel is worried that Phyllis’s plan will not work and she will either get hurt or end up with nothing.

Mariah is in a hotel room in an unknown location hallucinating a long conversation with Ian Ward. Ian persuades Mariah to let go of her old life and get back on the path. Mariah tells Ian, although she loves Tessa and Aria, she has to let them go of them like he told her so they can live a happy life.

Tessa tells Daniel that she has decided to move on with her life so she has started divorce proceedings.

Matt tells Nick that he wants five million dollars deposited into his account within the hour in order for him to get back Sienna for Noah . Matt also shows Nick a video of Sienna to prove to him that Sienna is still alive. Matt meets with Annie later at the motel where they are staying and tells her that he intends to take the money but he is going to kill Noah and Sienna.

The residents in Genoa City celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Kyle persuades Victoria to try and persuade Victor not to ruin Jabot.

Tessa tells Daniel that she was looking at her family tracker app and she found out that Mariah checked out of the clinic in Boston and was headed west. Tessa tells Daniel that she left a message on Mariah ‘s phone wishing her Happy Holidays and Mariah texted her that she checked out of the clinic and she wasn’t coming home. Tessa tells Daniel she feels alone and needs to feel loved. Daniel and Tessa go back to his place and have sex. Tessa tells Daniel she doesn’t regret having sex with him because it is the first time she has felt safe in a long time.

Adam and Sally share a burger and bring in the New Year’s together since Chelsea has the flu and Billy is out of town on a business trip.

Lily goes to Cane’s train and calls him a liar because she saw him kissing Phyllis. Cane tells Lily that Phyllis kissed him and he pushed her away immediately because he only loves her, he doesn’t love Phyllis. Cane tells Lily to stop denying that they belong together and Cane gives Lily a kiss.

Some of the residents of Genoa City celebrate Christmas Eve.

Jack and Diane spend a romantic Christmas Eve together. Jack and Diane exchange gifts even though they had decided to not exchange gifts this year. Diane gives Jack a book about the life of Max Factor. Jack gives Diane a beautiful necklace. Jack and Diane dance and are optimistic that the Abbot family will be unstoppable in 2026.

Victor and Nikki spend Christmas Eve together and call a truce to their argument for tonight. Victor gives Nikki a beautiful necklace that once belonged to Marie Antonette’s mother Maria Theresa. Nikki gives Victor a book by his favorite philosopher. Victor appreciates Nikki being with him on Christmas Eve because his mother left him at the orphanage on Christmas Eve when he was seven years old because she couldn’t afford to take care of him after his father left him.

Billy and Sally invite Victoria, Johnny, and Katie to decorate their tree. Victoria, Johnny, and Katie bring the tree to Billy and Sally’s house but the tree is small since it was the last tree left in the tree lot. Billy forgot to get the decorations out of storage so everyone strings popcorn to decorate the tree. Katie and Johnny make a star out of tin foil to put on top of the tree. Sally and Victoria have a long talk where Sally tells Victoria about Sally’s father who was a gambler who never kept his promises to her or her mother. Sally tells Victoria that Billy reminds her a lot of her father and Billy has to keep her promise to her about Abbott Communications because she can’t live through the pain her father caused her again. Sally is unaware that Billy overheard the conversation she had with Victoria.

The cast members of Young and the Restless come out at the end of the episode thanking the viewers for allowing them to come into their homes every day. The cast also wishes everyone the best this holiday season.
