THIS STILL NEEDS EXTENSIVE EDITING!
Hey! Have you been waiting long? [Hoarsely] Well, I want a cup of tea for my sore throat. And a cookie. And I feel like I’ve been waiting a week. What? In reality, five minutes? Less than that. I’m so glad we’re doing this. Me too. I want to show you something, but you can’t tell anyone that you saw it. Okay. Is it bad? It’s actually… pretty miraculous. Aww! Elizabeth! Sorry to interrupt. Uh, Stella Henry was having some tests run, and I thought maybe if she was done, I would ask her if she wants to go to dinner. Oh. I’m sorry. She already finished and left. But that was a sweet idea. I know. How’s Monica doing? Actually, today’s a good day. Oh, good. I’m glad to hear it. Me too. Please let her know that everyone here is thinking about her, and we can’t wait for our favorite former Chief of Staff to get back to her old self. I will. Let’s hope it’s soon. And let’s hope she doesn’t find out that Drew is threatening to dig up her late husband. [ Reverse signal beeping ] Excuse me! What is going on?! You can’t be here, ma’am. I live here! I’m trying to study! Ezra: Uh [ Clears throat ] Young lady, did you say you live here? Yeah. I rent the apartment over the garage. Well, I’m Ezra Boyle. Port Charles City Council. And I’m here on important city business. Yeah, I I know who you are. I met you yesterday at the press conference at G.H. Right! You were with Kai Taylor. Yeah. My name is Trina Robinson. Do you even have the right to be here? Uh, well, we do. We have a signed demolition order. Hey! What’s all this? Ah. Do you live at the main house? Yeah. Why? Great. You’ve been served. You’ll be doing a few more speaking engagements. A lot more than you signed up for. Yeah. A few. Are you sure I’m the right guy for this? You know, now that I’m done with football, people probably won’t want to listen to me much longer. Kai, you’re the reason that the speaking engagements have more than doubled. I mean, people definitely want to hear what you have to say, especially about the Pediatric Sports Initiative. Really? Yes! For sure! They saw how well you handled yourself at the press conference, and they want more. Just like I was telling you. You got a lot more going for you than just football. [ Scoffs ] That’s a good thing ’cause I’m never going pro. You sure about that? Since the club isn’t open, everything’s free, right? Well, I could probably hook you up with an appetizer or a beer. Anyway, thanks for coming by, sis. Yeah, I kind of had to. I never see you at Mom’s. You know, the place where we both live together? Yeah. I’ve been spending a lot of time at Elizabeth’s. How’s that going? Pretty good. In fact, we’re going away together. [ Pounding ] Ava! Open up! Oh, listen to that. The sound of Kristina Corinthos Davis even more unhinged than usual. Yeah, great. I just made peace with Alexis. If she sees me here, that’s all blown to hell. Alright. Well, don’t let her see you. But But stick around, okay? ‘Cause I may need a witness. Fine. Oh! Ava! [ Pounding ] For Pete’s sake, Kristina! I’m coming! Alright! Come on in. Speak your piece, but please stay away from the window. Wouldn’t want a repeat of the last time you barged in on me. Jason: Pilot says 40 minute flight time. Brick says there was two possible locations for Soliski his apartment and a warehouse. I think we should check each one, you know, to minimize the chance of missing him. Are Are you sure about that? You take the warehouse. Um… Brick didn’t know when Soliski was gonna leave town for his next job. Whoever hired Soliski is responsible… for Michael’s pain. I’m gonna make ’em pay. I’m guessing your OB appointment went well. Yes. The baby and I are fine. And my pregnancy has hit the honeymoon phase, so I have all this energy now. Good. You’re gonna need it to get away from the Quartermaines. Fortunately, things there have calmed down slightly. You’re not gonna move out to get away from all of them? I’m staying for now. Okay, well, if you change your mind, I will make space for you and the baby at my house. Aww! Thank you! But, um, I’m fine at the Q’s, and I really like the job, which is good, because I’m gonna need it. Sasha, if you need help… No, no. I already told you. I can afford this baby. It’s not a problem. I promise. I am just sorry that I said something that made it harder for you to take care of your babies. [ Sighs ] Drew has even gone so far as to sic the Public Land Trust on us because the family crypt “accidentally” extends maybe, I don’t know, 20 feet into public land. I don’t really think Edward was the type to make mistakes like that. Well, that’s the point. Drew doesn’t care if it’s on public land. He just wants to use it as leverage so he can remain a Quartermaine. And Monica really isn’t aware of this situation? No. I have done everything I can to shield her from it. She’s already furious with Drew for multiple reasons. Well, from my understanding, she always accepted him. Mnh mnh. Not anymore. For once, Monica and I are in complete agreement. Wow. Hell really has frozen over. [ Chuckles ] Drew is no longer a member of the Quartermaine family, and he has no right to our name. Gio: Nope. Not family. Just a guest. The person who owns the property is Monica Quartermaine. Don’t you have to serve her? [ Sighs ] Just another Quartermaine stall tactic. Even so, the papers have to be served to the appropriate party before we start the demolition. Okay, well, why don’t you walk over to the front door, you knock on it, and you serve them? Thank you. No, no. Excuse me. The family is fighting this order. Trina: And in case you haven’t noticed, the Quartermaine lawyers don’t lose. Oh, my goodness. They already have. The order was signed today, and there’s nothing anybody can do to stop it. Alrighty! Get your crew ready. Because that building is coming down. [ Ezra laughs ] My cracked L 4 means I can’t play football without risking paralysis. That is rough. I’m really sorry. It is, but Trina’s helped me come to terms with it. Yeah. I’m glad Trina’s part of your life after football. You guys You guys make a really good couple. Thank you. Yeah. We’ve been spending more time together, and things are really good. I’m glad to hear that. You know, I have to admit, though, I miss playing so much that sometimes I think it might be worth the risk. So… if there was a way for you to play football again safely, would you take it? Absolutely. Yeah. But my doctors say it’s a non starter. And they may be right, but I’m also a big believer in active problem solving, and there’s a lot of great specialists all around the world. I personally know a lot of fantastic doctors doing amazing things, one in particular that may be able to help you. Even if that’s true, I can’t afford to pay for what my insurance would consider an elective surgery. I don’t have those kinds of resources. Maybe not. But I do. Kristina: Did you just make a joke about my baby dying? No. I would never joke about what happened to poor Irene. It’s Adela. I’ve taken her flowers. That’s not what it says on the headstone. You stay away from my daughter! She would be here today if you hadn’t killed her! I have no interest in relitigating something a jury has already deemed an accident. I was there! You pushed me! You keep telling yourself that, Kristina. Just please stop telling me. Oh, no. I will tell you every single time I see you. I am a walking reminder of what Well, then, maybe it’s best that the two of us avoid one another! Now go away! Please! Where the hell do you get off thinking you can drag my father back to court over Avery? Well, Sonny is obviously in no condition to take care of my daughter a fact I am only too happy to share with a judge… in open court. Elizabeth and I are making a return trip to Manhattan. I booked a room at the hotel we stayed at when we were kids. Do you remember hearing about that? Yeah. Um… When you two were planning on moving to New York together so Elizabeth can study art. Yeah, well, it’s only for the weekend, and, uh, I was hoping Aiden could maybe stay at Mom’s. I mean, I know he’s old enough to be by himself for a few days, but I would feel better if you were keeping an eye on him. Sure. Yeah. Of course. Um, I’d love to. But are you sure you want to do this? Tell Monica we miss her. I’ll do it. [ Cellphone rings ] Yuri? Miss Tracy, you must come. A man with official papers bring bulldozers to crypt. I’ll be right there. Excuse me, but why is a councilman involved in this? I’ll tell you why. It’s ’cause he’s Cutthroat Cain’s dirty little stooge. O…kay. Congressman Quartermaine brought a legitimate public land issue to my attention. It is therefore my duty to rectify the situation, to show that rich people cannot flout the law. Yeah, because only elected officials have that sort of privilege. Ohh. Look. That building violates the law twice over. A private structure built on conservancy lands, which means… no construction allowed. What construction? It’s already been constructed. Ohh… I left the paperwork with some Russian guy. He’s from Belarus! Look. I don’t care. Okay? Get moving! Hey. I’ve got an idea. Just stall until I get back. Gio: What Emma! Why? Lewis: I’m concerned about the legality of serving an order of demolition to some domestic employee instead of the owner. Especially one whose English is a little shaky. Hey! Yuri’s English is just fine. Terrible! You know, you should go back and make sure that he understands that he has to let Monica, the owner, know what’s going on. The order has been served, and as a member of city council, I say tear that thing down! What about the people in the building? Hm? There There are people in there?! No, there’s no people in there. It’s just dead bodies. And desecrating the remains of a family’s loved ones isn’t a good look for the public official, Councilman. Okay, look, the Quartermaines had plenty of time to move those bodies. Gio: No, they haven’t. Besides being insensitive and immoral, isn’t unearthing human remains a public health issue? Hm. Ava: I think Sonny would be wise to avoid a return to court. Don’t you? If his health issues were to become public, his enemies might take advantage. I think Sonny is vulnerable enough as it is. One of his enemies already tried to kill him, right? And poor Michael got barbecued instead. [ Scoffs ] Now, I’m sure that Sonny would agree that he was the target and that it should have been him. It should have been you. I am just so glad that Avery wasn’t there. Now, really, I think it would be far better for Sonny to quietly hand Avery over to me where she will be safe, along with an increase in child support sufficient to provide my daughter with the kind of care to which she has become accustomed. Oh, my God. You are You really You have no limits. You are using Michael’s pain to your own advantage. As a mother… I will do absolutely anything to protect my child. Something you obviously cannot understand… since you’re not a mother. Well, I already invited Elizabeth, and she accepted. It’d be kind of rude to withdraw the invitation now. No. You’re right. Forget I said anything. You really think this is a bad idea, don’t you? I am not passing judgment. If you want to go, you should go. You had a pretty big reaction to a weekend getaway. I mean, what’s that about? It’s just…taking Elizabeth back someplace that meant so much to both of you, it’s risky. A lot can change in 25 years, including you and Elizabeth. I mean, you spent more time apart than you spent together, and you both picked up a lot of emotional baggage along the way. Life happens. W What can you do? Nothing, but it can be tough for some people to get over. Okay, well, Elizabeth and I are not just “some people.” Lucky… [ Sighs ] It’ll be one thing if you can’t recreate the magic… but it’ll be even worse if you end up tarnishing a memory that means so much to both of you. Sonny: Did Michael tell you that he’s having another skin graft next week? Yeah. He did. I talked to him on the phone. He sounded good. Yeah, he sounded good, except there’s this pain, you know? I can hear it in his voice. Yeah, I know. And I know how much he misses Wiley and Amelia, too. He loves Those kids are gonna get him through this. Yeah, the same way that your love for Michael is pushing you to find who hired Soliski instead of just sending me. We need the client’s name, so we can’t go in there, you know, guns blazin’. So when we find Soliski…? Are you asking me what I’m gonna do when I’m face to face with the man who set my son on fire and nearly killed him? Honestly? I don’t know. You would pay for my surgery? Why? You don’t even know me. No, I don’t. You’re right. Well, not yet anyway. But, um, I was a Navy SEAL, and I recognize and appreciate passion, determination, the willingness to put yourself on the line. Those are all qualities I see in you. Thank you but that still doesn’t explain why. Kai, I just think you got a really bright future. I do. And I’d love to do whatever I can to give you the opportunity to realize it, wherever it may lead you. Okay, but paying for my surgery like this? I mean, you’d have to want something. Why would I want something from Oh, it’s because you’re close to Trina, so you probably heard that her father and I had a falling out. Which would explain why you’re very hesitant to to trust me, which I totally get. That makes perfect sense. It really does. Curtis and I did have a, uh a disagreement, and he’s definitely got opinions about some of my actions, which he’s got every right to have. But before you make up your mind about me, will you at least hear my side of the story? I don’t deal with dead bodies. Trina: Mm hmm. Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You work for the city! The city council runs this city! I pay you to work, not to think! Come back and do your damn job! You know, you’re not much of a man of the people if you talk to your workers like that. Hey. Put the damn phone down. Oh, so are you denying me my right to record a public official while performing the duties of his elected office? Councilman, I’m a registered voter and a Catholic. Don’t you think your religious constituents will be horrified by your callous disregard for the Quartermaines’ dearly departed? Okay, okay. Okay. Please. Enough with the nonsense. Enough with this Quartermaine grandstanding. Okay? We have a legal order. No legitimate reason to delay the demolition! Emma: Well, there is now. [ Click ] Yeah. You’ll tear this building down over my dead body. My babies are fine. The only time they’re not is when they’re…James. [ Chuckles ] But I made things harder for Deception, which means that I made things harder for you. The other owners may want Deception to succeed, but you need it to. That may be true, but Deception is doing fine. Then I freaked out when Jenz Sidwell showed up and said the guy was a monster. Because he kidnapped you. Look, we may need that zincite, like, desperately, but we’ll find it someplace else. But will you find it in time? We’re not doing business with someone who threatened your life. Okay. That’s the thing. I may have overreacted. How do you “overreact” to someone kidnapping you and threatening to kill you? I was scared. None of it would have happened if my mother hadn’t stolen millions of dollars’ worth of diamonds from him. Okay. We’re gonna blame this on Holly? That’s the only reason Sidwell grabbed me. And he he didn’t mistreat me. It wasn’t cruel. He tried to blow you up. Because of Holly. It was her greed that put me in danger. And not for the first time. Come on, Sasha. Look, I don’t want you to feel like you can’t do business with Sidwell because of me. Because I’m really okay with it. I wouldn’t sit here and tell you that I was if I weren’t. I’m sitting here and telling you… I’m not sure I’m okay with doing business with him. Yes. You are. You’re just being a good friend. And I love you for it. But your business and your family is more important. You know what? Don’t listen to me. I am probably just projecting my own situation onto you. What situation? Uh…my life. Take your pick. But let’s talk about anything else. Look, y you make some good points. Going back there is risky. We could end up seriously disappointed. But I I don’t think that’s gonna happen. I hope you’re right. And, no, Elizabeth and I can’t erase all the baggage or all the years that we spent apart, but… going back to a place that was so important to us and and revisiting memories we made there, it’s it’s not about reclaiming the past. It’s about considering a future. Is that something you’re hoping for? A future with Elizabeth? This is not about protecting Avery! This is about blackmailing my father! Ava: How is it blackmail to speak the truth? Your father has a condition, for which he’s being medicated, that is so severe, he collapsed at my feet! You withheld his medication! I was in shock. Ohh… And what if it had been Avery that found him on the floor? I should go straight to the court. The sooner the judge knows what happened, the sooner my daughter will be safe. You are threatening to out my father’s health issues and make him a target? That’s the price Sonny pays for the life he chose. You took my brother and you took my daughter. You will not take my father from me. I have done nothing to Sonny. It is too late for Morgan, it is too late for Adele, but it is not too late for my father! I will stop you, Ava. I will. [ Exhales sharply ] Ahh! Well! [ Chuckles ] I’m glad you were here for that. You just heard Kristina blatantly threaten me. Sonny: Mr. Soliski. You have a good workout? What do you want? Ezra: Unchain yourself right now. No, not when you and Killer Cain clearly circumvented the proper channels to get the demolition order so fast. Sheriff, arrest her! Young lady, the key. I swallowed it. [ Trina chuckles ] Where’d you find the lock? My car. Yeah, I always travel with the necessary tools for a peaceful public protest. I like the way you think. Tracy: What is this?! Your bulldozer has hacked up my lawn! The city is gonna pay for it. An order has been served. I don’t know anything about an order. Ah. I thought the original might go missing. Here you go. Looks like there’s nothing anybody can do. This young lady does not appear to be moving. What are you planning on doing about that? Well, Sheriff, cut her loose. Trina, make sure you record that guy groping me. Yeah, it’s just gonna make court a little bit easier. I’m gonna need your badge number. I want to call it in to my good friend, Judge Lyman. Gio, call my grandmother. We need her here. Now. Curtis and I were best friends for a long time, and it was based on that friendship that I brought him in to Aurora. I brought him in. I put him in charge of developing an entire new division, which he did with great success. So then why didn’t you pick him to replace you as CEO? Well, that’s kind of confidential, uh, but what I can tell you is Curtis had certain expectations about his position at the company that I didn’t meet. But I never lied to him. Was it worth your friendship? I wish it hadn’t cost us what it did, but that’s between me and him. You know, I would never ask you to choose between us. I literally I just want to help. Really. Look. I… I have a lot of money. And to be completely honest, I think it would feel really good for me to spend some of that money investing in your future. And also… sports is big business. It’s very high profile. And if you have a mentee who gets drafted into the NFL, that that could be good for you. That’s very true. Could be good for both of us. Okay, but what if they find a procedure and you pay for it but I still can’t play? What happens then? You got the wrong apartment, bud. No, I don’t! Don’t waste my time! Put the bag down slowly. Take your two fingers… take that gun out of your pocket. Put it on the table. Put it on the table! Slide it to me. You happy? I’m getting there. You see, I I made myself comfortable in your home just like you made yourself comfortable in mine. You planted an incendiary device. You got sloppy. You didn’t get me. You got my son instead. Big mistake! Lucky for you, my son lived. So I’m gonna give you a chance. All you have to do… is tell me who hired you. I don’t want to get ahead of myself. Right now all we’re planning is a weekend away, someplace where we won’t be constantly interrupted by loving and well meaning family. Wait. Do you hear that? What? Is that a dodge I hear? Uh huh. Okay. Okay. Fine. If it’s up to me, I would like a future with Elizabeth. There. I’ve said it. Mmm! But even though things are going well right now, at the end of the day, she might not want to take another chance on me. And I know that. Maybe this time is the charm? I’m not making any assumptions either way. I’m just gonna put myself out there and hope there’s a chance. Well, you’re braver than I am. Yeah, I don’t know about that. I think I’m just a little farther down the road, you know, trying to go for what I want. Exactly. You’re on the road, and I’m just stuck in neutral. Well, I’m sure when you figure out what it is you want, there’ll be no stopping you. Yeah, But I do know that Mom would love to have Aiden hang with us for the weekend. So if you and Elizabeth are having a really nice time in NYC and, I don’t know, maybe you want to extend your stay, you’re covered. You’re the greatest. Yeah, I really am aren’t I? Judging from Kristina’s overreaction, Sonny’s health issue must be serious. Serious enough that he could look weak, which is something he can’t afford. Now, that should be enough to make him more than willing to give me full custody of Avery, plus a tidy sum to keep me quiet. Before you go threatening Sonny, I advise caution. You and I both know he’s never more dangerous than when his back is against the wall. [ Cellphone rings ] Hi! Hey. I have that information you wanted. But Aiden’s got my car, so as soon as I grab a rideshare, I will drop it off at your office. Uh, no. No. That’s okay, Elizabeth. Elizabeth. Of course. That’s why you’re talking like that. Oh, well, it’s nice to hear that you’re with Ava and not toiling away at your desk. No, no, we’re just, you know, working at her place. Great. Then I’ll drop it off over there. The sooner I get this to you, the sooner we can help Portia. [ Groans ] If you’re done working, would you mind telling me what that was all about? Okay, if you must know, Elizabeth is providing evidence that could help me protect Portia. Did Portia tell Elizabeth that Drew is blackmailing her? Not exactly. Elizabeth knew that Portia consulted with me. And that’s because Portia trusted me with her problem and I referred her to you. Yes, yes. And Elizabeth just wanted to help. Of course she does. How did she want to help this time? Maybe get you some confidential patient files? No, nothing HIPAA related. And it would be much more suspicious if Portia were to gather those records herself. But no one would bat an eye if General Hospital’s saintly Head Nurse did it. Okay. Portia is her friend. Elizabeth is just trying to help. Mnh. She’s playing you. Because she wants to help herself. Oh, really? Elizabeth? How? Well, Elizabeth may care about Portia, but she cares about G.H. more. So she’s snooping for the hospital, and she’s using you to do it. Now you’re j Forget it. Elizabeth went to you because she knows that Portia conferred with you. And by asking Elizabeth to get specific files, she now knows where to look for Portia’s problem. You have given Elizabeth information that goes against the client attorney privilege that you have with Portia. Look. Elizabeth wouldn’t use that or me. Elizabeth wouldn’t do that to me. Why not? Because she still loves you? Because you’re clinging to hope that the two of you will get back together? Okay. You’re wrong, Ava! Elizabeth wants to help me. I saved her when she got suspended from G.H.! No. Lucky saved her. You just did the paperwork. [ Breathing shakily ] Nothing is getting bulldozed until this area is cleared. Alright. Fine. Sheriff, arrest her for obstructing a lawful order. You come near her, and I will have your badge. Emma, are you alright? Yeah, I’m fine. Okay. Um, thank you for being here. Do you have any more chains? Uh, no, but next time, I’ll bring some for everybody. Not to worry. [ Laughs ] Trina: Uh, Ms. Quartermaine, what are you doing? I am protecting my family’s final resting place. This isn’t about protecting the environment. This is about Congressman Cain using city resources… to wage a personal war against his former family. I will not be moved! Ric: I have done a lot more than that, and Elizabeth knows this! You have no idea what Elizabeth thinks. [ Sighs ] Ric? Oh. Wow! T That was fast. Um, but you really didn’t need to come over and do that. Yeah, I wanted to. But I don’t want to interrupt this, so… Have a good evening. Wha You know, wait a minute! Let me give you a ride, okay? Oh, God. I don’t believe it. I have to talk to her. I’ll be right back. No, no, no. Take your time. There’s no reason for you to hurry back! Hey, you. Where you been? It’s almost time to open. I was, uh I was at Ava’s. I We had a huge fight, and she threatened my dad, and I I lost it, so I… You what? What did you do? I made a mistake, but I I’m gonna fix it. I can fix it. Whoa, whoa! Kristina. Kristina! [ Door closes ] Damn it! Look. I’m a professional. I do the job that I was hired to do. I’ve got no problem with you or your family. Good. Tell me who hired you, and I’ll let you go. I never meet the client. Details are always handled where they can’t be traced. How do you get paid? Cryptocurrency. Also untraceable. So I’m sorry, but I can’t help you. No one in your line of work would take a job this dangerous without knowing who’s involved. Yeah, well, times are tough. I had to, uh, loosen my standards. Like I said, sloppy. You looking for this? Stop wasting my time! Tell me who hired you! Let’s say the surgery doesn’t get you back on the football field. You’re still going places, Kai Taylor. Now, I don’t know what Curtis told you about me Sir, I respect Mr. Ashford, but I make my own decisions about people. Well, I’m very happy to hear that. This is the information about the procedure and the doctor that performs it. If I find anything else out, I’ll send it to you, but in the meantime, really look into it on your own. Like, I highly, highly encourage that. Thank you. I appreciate it. Okay. One more thing. If you are gonna do the surgery, you might want to make a move on it sooner than later. The closer the surgery is performed to the original date of the injury, the more successful it is. Okay. I’ll I’ll check it out right away. Okay. Good man. I can just I can tell by the way you play the game that you love it. And if there’s a medical procedure that will get you back on the field playing that game that you love, safely, it just makes sense to take it, right? I have to admit, I didn’t think Jenz Sidwell would play a big part in my night out. I’m sorry. It’s just that with the benefit of time, I sort of saw what happened differently, and I wanted to tell you. You have nothing to apologize for. This was good. You gave me a lot to think about. Well, then… here’s to hoping. [ Chuckles ] Thanks for calling me, Gio. Yeah, she wanted me to call you. Alright. Anna! At last! Please! Arrest these trespassers! Yeah. Emma? Are you alright? Yeah. Why wouldn’t I be? You are chained to a mausoleum. Yeah, I am. Is there any particular reason why? I’m fighting for what’s right. Tracy: I’m fine, too. Okay. Okay, Commissioner, any chance you’re gonna do your job today and arrest these women? Sheriff, do you have the demolition order? Right here, Commissioner. Oh, Councilman, I think your power play is about to end. Oh, this is not over until that building is rubble. Like your career? [ Chuckles ] This coming from a Ohh! Finish that sentence! I dare you! Okay. Can you just please? Fetch the bolt cutters. Lewis: Yes, ma’am. [ Gasps ] Grandma! You’re siding with him?! I’m sorry. The law is the law. If I give you a name, they’re gonna take me out. Maybe, but at least you’ll have a chance to disappear. Because if you don’t tell me… I’m gonna shoot you right now. Looks like you’re out of options, Soliski. You either tell me who hired you… or you’re gonna be the one paying for my son’s suffering. [ Line ringing ] Kristina: Pick up, Ava! [ Line ringing ] Come on! Pick up, damn it! [ Cellphone ringing ] [ Ringing stops ] [ Phone thuds on table ] Ava: This is Ava Jerome. Leave a message. [ Shouts ] I told you I didn’t need a ride. I was perfectly happy calling a rideshare. I’m not gonna let you call a rideshare. You went through the trouble to get those records for me. Oh, I said I was happy to help. And since I’ve done so much, is there anything else I can do to help Portia? Well, that depends. Are you really trying to help Portia? Or are you trying to get insider information out of me? What?! No! Oh, Elizabeth, please. At your most deceitful Oh, now I’m deceitful? I You know I went out of my way to try to help you, right? Yeah, only to get information on Portia Robinson from me. And why would I do that? I don’t know! You tell me! I Ric, slow down! I’m trying. I’m trying. [ Engine revs ] There’s something wrong. Ric! There’s something wrong with the brakes! [ Elizabeth screams ] [ Crash ]
