Alexis apologizes to Sonny for making the jury think that Michael shot Drew even though she thinks Willow is guilty. Alexis explains that she had to take Willow’s case so Drew would let her see Scout. Alexis also explains that, if Willow is found guilty, Drew will not let Scout see her, Kristina, or Molly again. Sonny understands and tells hiding Alexis that she must protect Scout. .

Valentin makes Ava think that he has been hiding at Wyndermere since he escaped the prison transport van. Ava tells Jens that she saw Valentin at Wyndamere. Carly shows Valentin what she found in Jack’s room. Valentin tells Carly that he thinks Jens is hiding something important on Spoon Island.

Anna makes it out of the room where she is being held but a man catches her and gives her a shot to make her unconscious. The man later talks to Jens and tells him that they must get rid of Anna before Britt arrives to work in the secret lab. Jens tells the man not to worry because Britt can’t tell anyone if she sees Anna. Anna awakens and worries when she gets a nosebleed since she hasn’t had her phlebotomy treatment.

Jack gets a visit from WSB Director Cullum. Director Cullum tells Jack that they have lost Anna. Director Cullum is the same man who was talking to Jens earlier at Wyndamere. Director Cullum also stopped Anna from getting away.

Valentin asks Carly to search Jack’s room to try and find information about Jens Siddwell ‘s research project. Carly does find a file with information about the project. Carly takes a picture of the pages in the file. Carly is about to leave Jack ‘s room when she overhears Jack talking to Britt about his plan to have her give him information about Jens Siddwell’s project. She takes her phone out to record the conversation.

Valentin goes to Spoon Island to see if he can find information about Jens Siddwell ‘s project. Ava catches Valentin and thinks he has been hiding at Wyndamere without Sidwell’s knowledge.

Anna is able to get the best of Pascal and get out of the room where she is being held.

Alexis talks to Diane because she wants to recuse herself from the case because there were people inside Drew’s house who heard a particular ring tone that she has confirmed belongs to Wiley and Willow’s phone says was made at the time of the shooting.

Diane tells Alexis that the evidence is circumstantial and if she tells the jury anything during her closing argument she could be disbarred. Diane also reminds Alexis that Drew told her that if she loses the case and Willow goes to jail she Kristina, and Molly won’t see Scout again. Alexis goes to court and gives her closing argument even though she, knows Willow may go free and she can’t stand the possibility that a guilty woman may go free. Acting District Attorney Turner also gives her closing argument telling the jury that Willow hated Drew because she believed that Drew was responsible for the judge taking Wiley and Amelia away from her.

Michael persuades Jacinda to stay and not leave town because she has been the one bright spot during this whole ordeal with Willow.

Brad tells Britt that Jason will break her heart again and, when he does, he will be ready with ice cream and an ear to listen to her.

Kai and Trina decide not to go to the police with what they know about Willow because they could go to jail for tampering with evidence obstructing justice and breaking and entering. Kai and Trina decide that the best thing they can do is go talk to Alexis.

Gio asks Wiley to call Michael and make sure that it is okay for him to play the Tron video game. Wiley calls Michael and an adorable ringtone of Wiley ‘s voice saying “Daddy it’s me Wiley pick up “Kai and Trina almost rule out Michael as Drew’s shooter.

Drew loses control on the witness stand while Acting District Attorney Turner is questioning him. Drew admits how much he hates Michael because he took Aurora Media, the Quartermaine name, and turned his family against him.

Alexis must undo the damage Drew did to Willow’s case, so Alexis has no choice but to put Willow on the Witness stand in her own defense. Acting District Attorney Turner asks Willow if she has ever touched Edward’s gun. Willow remembers touching the gun but she lies and tells the court that she has never touched the gun. Acting District Attorney Turner asks Willow what she would do for children and she tells the court she would do anything for her children but as she is telling the court the words Willow remembers being outside Drew’s house in her car dressed in black and holding Edward’s gun.

The audience sees black shoes walking into Drew’s house and two shots ring out. Acting District Attorney Turner tells Dante Willow just might have saved herself because she remained calm and she was unable to break her. Wiley makes a phone call and Kai and Trina hear the
“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” ringtone and they both turn in time to hear Willow tell Wiley she is glad that he called her because they will see each other very soon.

Lulu helps Tracy figure out that the person who overheard her conversation with Michael probably lives in her house. The ladies suspect that the person who may have overheard the rove Willow is innocent so Gio agrees to help for Wiley’s conversation is Chase.

Kai and Trina ask Gio to persuade Wiley to call Michael so they can find out if that was the ringtone they heard when Drew was shot was Wiley calling Michael on the phone. Kai and Trina tell Gio that they are trying to prove Willow’s innocence for Wiley’s sake.

Drew tells Alexis that he is going to testify at the trial tomorrow. Alexis tells Drew and Willow that is a terrible idea because it will ruin the case. Drew tells Alexis that if she doesn’t let him testify then he won’t let her see Scout again. Alexis tells Drew that he can testify if he wants but she tells him that she did warn him it could hurt the case.

Valentin tells Carly he has to leave town because Jens Siddwell threatened Ace and Charlotte. Carly and Valentin have a long talk and Carly persuades Valentin has to stay because he is the only one who can keep Charlotte safe from Jack and Jens Siddwell. Carly also tells Valentin that he is the only one who can make Jack and Jens Siddwell pay for their crimes.

Alexis manages to bluff Tracy and Michael by making them think she has pictures of Michael on Drew’s street the night Drew was shot. Alexis gets Tracy to admit that she saw Michael on Drew’s street that night. Michael testifies that he was going to talk to Drew that night but when he heard his phone ring with the special ringtone he had for Wiley he decided to get in his car and go home.

Alexis calls Elizabeth to the stand and she says Michael came to her house and she left him alone in the house to wait for Willow because she got called in to the hospital to work. Alexis points out to the jury that Michael had time to put Edward’s gun in Willow’s room.

Kai and Trina think Michael lied and he was in Drew’s house that night and the “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” ringtone that they heard when they were hiding in Drew’s room was the special ringtone Michael set on his phone for a call from Wiley.

Sonny tells Michael that he shouldn’t go on the witness stand and attack Willow because when Wiley and Amelia grow up they will resent him for attacking their mother . Michael tells Sonny that everything he will say on that stand he will say to protect his children.

Kristina is upset that Alexis is going after Michael to get Widow acquitted of Drew’s shooting. Alexis explained to Kristina that she must win the case in order for her to be able to see Scout. Alexis tells Kristina that Michael is a grown-up and he can take care of himself.

Ezra Boyle tells Laura that Sidwell wants permission from the city to put a helipad on Spoon Island and on the piers.

Sidwell runs into Charlotte and Ace at Bobbie’s restaurant and tells Charlotte to take care of Ace because little kids can easily go missing. Charlotte later tells Laura about meeting Sidwell and what he told her about taking care of Ace.

Cody and Molly’s romantic day is interrupted by James who has a riding lesson scheduled with Cody.

The residents of Port Charles celebrate New Year’s Eve by watching fireworks and mixing it with romance.

Cody goes to Molly’s office and helps her finish her assignment from acting District Attorney Turner and then they watch the fireworks and have sex in Acting District Attorney Turner’s office.

Gio and Emma watch the fireworks from the Quartermaine stables as they babysit Outback. Gio tells Emma that he isn’t sure if the violin fits into his life because playing it at Christmas didn’t feel the same to him.

Curtis tells Jordsn that his future is with her and he still intends to be a good father to Portia’s baby if he is the father of the baby.

Britt and Jason spend her birthday together and Britt tells Jason he is the calm in her chaotic life and then they kiss .

Trina tells Kai she is excited about her future although she hasn’t decided if she is going to pursue a Master’s degree in art but she knows art will always be a part of her life.

Willow persuades Drew to allow Scout to spend the day after Christmas with grandma Alexis and her Aunts Kristina and Molly.

Jens Siddwell has a Boxing Day party to with invited guests Ava, Jordan, Lucy, Lucas, and Marco.

Kevin and Laura invited Lulu, Rocco, and Charlotte to their house for the day after Christmas.

Tracy invites Sonny to the Quartermaine house so Gio can feel like he is part of the Quartermaine family.

Molly accepts Cody’s invitation to be his date for New Year’s Eve date, and they kiss in front of Alexis and Kristina.

Leo finds the violin that Ned and Sonny chipped in to give to him whenever he was ready to play the violin again. Leo and Wiley persuade Gio to play the violin again because they are all sad because they miss Monica. Wiley thinks that if Gio plays a song on his new violin he will make everyone feel better. Gio plays a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night” on his new violin which makes his great-grandmother Tracy cry. After Gio finished, Tracy tells him thank you for the beautiful song and then Tracy gives Gio a hug.
