Daytime Soap Opera Short Recaps
Recap written by Suzanne
The baby dilemma reaches a boiling point at the cliff house, where Carter aggressively pressures a panicked Steffy to go along with a highly risky charade. Insisting they are running out of time, Carter demands that Steffy claim she is carrying his baby as a surrogate for him and Daphne, a massive sacrifice he insists they must make right now. Steffy fiercely lashes out at his impatience, deeply terrified that this reckless timeline will alienate her husband, Finn, and completely destroy her marriage when the truth inevitably blows up. Meanwhile, unaware of the storm brewing at the cliff house, Daphne happily beams alongside Ridge and Brooke as she updates them on her supposed surrogacy plans.
At the estate, the brewing fashion war intensifies as Katie fiercely motivates Hope to weaponize their history against their rivals. Recalling how Brooke disowned her in the past, Katie declares that their impending corporate success will taste even sweeter by lighting a powder keg under the family. Part of this corporate scheme involves Dylan successfully cajoling an increasingly frustrated Zende, who is growing weary of being demoted to an assistant designer and signals he may be ready to jump ship to the opposing camp. However, the high-stakes game catches the attention of Will, who desperately tries to perform damage control by warning a reckless Dylan that she is merely being used as a dangerous pawn in Katie’s ruthless war.
