Cat went to see EJ. He told her what happened with Lexie and how she wanted to die alone. EJ said the role he played in losing Lexie was unbearable. Cat comforted him and told him it was harder for him with Kristen missing. When Cat asked if he knew where Kristen was, EJ said he didn’t know. He said he was thinking about his relationships with his siblings and was feeling regretful. At the pub, Theo and Abe mourned Lexie. While they were talking, Theo told Abe that he was disappointed in Johnny. He told Abe that he thought Johnny and EJ were hiding something. Abe was sorry that he had to deal with the DiMeras. Roman came over to offer his condolences. Abe talked to Roman about Lexie’s final wishes. Theo wanted to take a walk. Abe told Roman that Lexie wanted a party at the pub. Roman said he and Kate would love to do it.
Belle and Marlena talked about her trip to Italy. She told Marlena that Stefano wouldn’t hurt his son or Marlena’s daughter. Marlena said Stefano was dead. Belle said someone was working on Stefano’s behalf. She said it might be Rolf and he would never do anything to hurt Chad. Marlena said Stefano tried to play this game years ago with a chess set and a missing queen. She told Belle that she refused the game. Belle thought it was connected. She told Marlena she was doing it for her father as well as for her. Alex checked on Stephanie to see how she was after giving blood. Stephanie said Theo took care of her. Alex said he saw her cuddling with Theo. Stephanie said she saw him cuddling with Joy. She suggested that they go their separate ways for now. Alex decided to leave. Later on, Stephanie went back to the apartment. Jada and Shawn were spending time together so she left. She ran into Alex who wanted to talk. Stephanie told him he could be there for her or Joy, but he couldn’t do both. Before she walked off, she told him he couldn’t separate Joy and Kelsey. Theo and Stephanie ran into each other in the park. He wanted to know what was wrong. She told him what happened. Theo invited her to go home with him. Stephanie hesitated at first but agreed to go home with him.
