Arianna met with Kate at the pub to let her know what she overheard between Johnny and EJ. She was freaked out by what EJ said, but Kate was interested in it. Kate advised her to ask Holly. Jack arrived at the pub to meet with Kate. He wanted to consider her as the new editor for the Spectator. Belle got ready for her trip to Italy. Marlena wasn’t thrilled with her going. She hoped Belle and Chad enjoyed themselves while they were in Italy. Marlena thought about the trip she took to Italy with John. She remembered making a wish in the fountain with the coin she found at John’s grave. Marlena gave Belle the coin to make her feel close to John. Xander got the Kirakis mansion ready for the sale. Sarah wondered if he needed help. Holly arrived and told them about her conversation with EJ. She almost told EJ everything. Xander and Sarah promised to help. Sarah ranted about EJ to Xander. She left the Kiriakis mansion to head to EJ’s place.
Sarah went to see EJ and yelled at him for what he did to Holly. She told him that he was losing the hospital to Gwen of all people. EJ tried to get under her skin by reminding her that Gwen was with Xander. His plan didn’t work with her. She got in his face and threatened him if he did anything to her family. Sarah warned him that karma was coming for him. Marlena and Steve talked about Belle and Chad going to Italy. She wanted to hire Steve to find out who was working for Stefano and what they wanted. Marlena thought it was the right thing to go to Italy, but she didn’t want Belle putting herself in danger. Steve told her that Belle was doing what John would do. Arianna found Holly to ask her about EJ. Holly lied to her about what happened.
