Bo apologized to Hope for not being there for her. Hope said he was there for her. She wished her father were alive to see them get back together. Bo felt like Doug knew and was watching over them. He was happy to wake up and find out that they had four grandchildren. Hope wondered if he was ready to be a full-time grandfather. They went downstairs, and he commented on how the Horton house looked the same. There were flashbacks of events that happened at the house. Hope told Bo about the time capsule and how Ciara opened it. Bo felt like you could see Tom and Alice throughout the house. He thought they were proud of their family. While they sat on the couch, Bo reflected on their lives together. He couldn’t believe they were together since they were so different from each other. She laughed at what he said. Bo felt honored when he was given a Christmas ornament. They continued to talk about their lives together. There were more flashbacks of a young Tom and Alice together. Bo and Hope looked at the family portraits on the mantle. Hope talked about how hard it was for Doug and Julie to get together. Alice helped Hope see the best in Julie. There was a flashback of Alice helping Bo and Hope sneak around. Bo told Hope that her grandparents were a godsend. She noticed how quiet the house was. Bo implied that he may have asked for some time alone. He had a celebration planned for them. Bo wanted her to check her closet and wear the special surprise he had for her. There were more flashbacks of Tom and Alice.
Hope came downstairs in a wedding dress. Bo was wearing a suit. The living room was decked out for a wedding. Bo promised her that they would be together forever this time. He asked her if he could make her his wife again. Bo got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She immediately said yes to his proposal. He got up and hugged her. Bo promised to respect and cherish her. He promised to take Hope to be his wife from now until forever. He gave Hope her mother’s wedding ring. She pronounced them married, and they kissed each other. Bo had another surprise for her. Shawn got the Fancy Face back for them. The boat belonged to them again. There were flashbacks of the wedding they had on the boat years ago. Hope wished they had simple times like that again. Bo suggested they get on the boat again and go where the wind would take them. Hope wasn’t sure about that, but they lost so much time together. They could visit their family around the world. She liked the idea of having Bo to herself for a while. Hope agreed to go with Bo as long as they returned to Salem. Bo agreed to what she wanted. Tom and Alice were older in the flashbacks. They talked about their family being grown and how they moved out. She missed the chaos of the family being together. Alice wondered if the house was too big for them now. Tom insisted that the house wasn’t too big for them since the family was still around. Bo suggested that he and Hope do what Doug and Julie did. He wanted to retire at the family home. Hope loved the idea. They sat at Tom and Alice’s plaques at the town square. Bo and Hope talked about how hard it was to say goodbye. There were more flashbacks of Bo and Hope through the years. They said goodbye to Salem and promised to be back. Bo and Hope walked off.
