I’m sitting here taking up all your time when you obviously need to be working. No. Hey, listen, you come first. From what you were telling me about Carter, it’s too bad that he couldn’t say the same. But you know, I gotta tell you. I mean, honestly, I’m not surprised that he stayed on at Forrester. That guy has been trying to get their approval for years. [sighs] He… has always really wanted to be part of the family. I just… feel like they took advantage of that sentiment, really…manipulated him. I mean, the way Ridge is always calling him brother when Carter doesn’t even realize that it’s never going to really happen. -Huh. -I don’t know. I just… I feel like I can’t trust anybody anymore, like not even myself, my own judgement, because clearly, I’m so wrong about people. I-I thought Carter loved me. I believed him when he said that he would champion me, and don’t even get me started on Mom. Can you explain to me why the hell she’s still there after the way they treated you? Give you one guess. Ah. Mm. Ridge. You know…[small laugh] apparently, she didn’t even take the CEO position in order to help us out. She just did it in order to give the company back to Ridge. She-she chose him. She chose all of the Forresters over her own daughter. Honey, I don’t know what to say other than I’m sorry. She texted me. “I love you, honey. Please come home.” I don’t even know how to respond to that. I don’t… I don’t think she understands that… home doesn’t feel like it used to anymore. You look busy. -[door closes] -Hey. Just, uh… cleaning up the office. Of course. I just wanna tell you that I’m very thankful to be here working at Forrester still. And so is Carter. Well, he finally did the right thing. Well, he loves you. And so do I. You do know there’ll always be a place for you here. Always was, Logan. I’m glad that you’re still calling me Logan. I’m not sure if I should broach this subject, but I feel like I have to. Especially since Steffy’s not here. What is it? It’s about my daughter. You know that. Right. Um, but it doesn’t seem fair -that she has to– -If she wanted fairness, she shouldn’t have done what she did. Easy. Okay. But she is devastated. She feels like everybody’s trying to betray her, including me… when all I was trying to do is what was right for the company, right for you. [sighs] Look, Ridge, just… can you have some compassion for my daughter? Any mercy at all? Honey, I just… I hate to see you hurting so badly. Well, it does make me feel better knowing I have you to turn to. Truly, Dad. Thank you. I honestly don’t know… where to turn, what to do. I-I feel like I have lost everything. Well, you’re not gonna lose me. Why don’t you just give yourself a break? I mean, you’ve been through so much, and I’m not talking about what happened at Forrester. I’m not talking about you and Carter. Thomas… ending your marriage with Liam. I mean, just… show yourself some grace. You really think I deserve it? More than anyone I know. It’s funny you bring up Liam. I’ve been thinking about him a lot lately… and how it… does feel like my life has gone a bit off the rails ever since I ended our marriage. But it’s funny, it-it… has a way of putting things into perspective, and… We really did share some beautiful times together, and he truly is an amazing father to Beth and Kelly. We had to balance on logs and jump on rocks so we wouldn’t get our shoes wet in the stream. That sounds awesome. Our Daddy and Kelly hikes are super fun. Yeah. You are lucky to have a dad like Liam. Thought Mom and Dad would be here by now. Yeah, me too. I’m not sure what’s keeping them. -[siren wails] -Blue team to ICU, please. -What’s his status? -Trauma to the head. Unresponsive at the scene. Possible brain bleed. Order a CT scan, full labs, and page Dr. Gaffney in neuro. -Do you know his blood type? -Uh, uh, A positive. DR. BUCKINGHAM: Prep for a transfusion if necessary. Dr. Buckingham, I need to be in there with him. -He’s in good hands. -But they said brain bleed! I need to know what happened. I found him in the ground. He was unconscious. You need to do something– please! Please! I can’t lose him!
Ridge: I understand you love your daughter. I love my daughter too. What Steffy’s doing to Hope isn’t right. She’s making this personal. Isn’t that what got us into -this mess in the first place? -This is personal. How is it not personal? It’s always been personal. Hope took her company away from her–it’s her birthright. Well, she’s okay with Carter. Well, ho-how is that the same thing? It’s not– You made a deal with Carter. Why don’t you make that same -deal with my daughter? -Because Hope doesn’t think -she did anything wrong. -Okay. Look, I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to protect your daughter. You’re trying to advocate for her–I love that about you. You’re a great mother. But it’s too late. What’s done is done. -We can’t change what happened. -I know, I know! I wish none of this happened. I don’t like what it did, especially… between the two of us. I miss you. So much. Don’t you miss me? [soft music plays] No matter what happens in my life, it seems the one constant has always been Liam and his love for Beth and Kelly. He truly is an amazing man. Wanna know a secret? [chuckles] Sure. The Daddy-daughter dance is coming up. I know! Liam will be thrilled. Nothing would keep him from being at that dance with you. -I can’t wait. -[chuckles] -DR. I believe he suffered an intracranial hemorrhage. -What’s that? -It’s when the blood pools between the brain and the skull, preventing oxygen from reaching the brain. It only takes three to four minutes for brain cells to die without enough oxygen. Did we get that tox screen back? No drugs or alcohol in his system, Doctor. But you can help him. He’s gonna be okay. This is a life-threatening injury. We’re gonna do absolutely everything that we can. I need that CT scan STAT. Call radiology. Liam, I’m right here. I’ll fight with you. I’m right here, okay? -[flatline tone] -[alarm beeping] He’s flatlining. I need you to move away. [alarm continues] Liam!
