Daytime Soap Opera Short Recaps
Recap written by Michele and Cheryl
Chad arrived at the Horton house and talked to Julie about Abby. He filled her in about the fake Abby and Clyde’s plan. Julie rolled her eyes at the idea that Clyde expected him to Chad to marry someone he didn’t know. Hanging his head, Chad admitted that he did marry her. Julie was shocked to hear that he married the stranger. Cat paced in her cell as Mark was brought into the one next to her. Mark told her that he couldn’t get through to Clyde, so he didn’t know if their mother was still alive. Cat didn’t want to give up, but she couldn’t believe they did everything for nothing. Mark was thankful he didn’t kill Chad. Steve talked to Marlena about what happened in Paris with Cat and Mark. He informed her about the bright side of everything. John didn’t kill Catarina because she’s their mother. It meant that she’s still alive. Holly had two conversations with Eric. She talked to him about her issues with her mother. Holly understood why people lie after witnessing what happened in Paris. The teen decided to forgive her mother. She also forgave Eric for what happened too. The next conversation was about her issues with Tate. Eric informed her that Brady was cleared. Holly was relieved that he was cleared. It occurred to her that she took her anger of her father’s death out on Brady. She wanted to talk to Tate before it was too late. Meanwhile, Tate was bonding with Sophia while they were eating. Mark was grateful he didn’t kill Chad after all. It would have been tragic, but he knew that Cat was in love with him. Cat talked about how much she loved Chad. She didn’t think he would ever forgive her for what she did. Mark and Cat were concerned about their siblings finding out what they did. They had to figure out a way to get through everything together.
Julie held back her shock and told Chad that the marriage wasn’t legal. Chad felt like he dishonored Abby’s memory by marrying Cat. Julie tried to make him feel better by telling him that Cat was the dishonorable one. He informed her that Clyde forced her to go through with his plan by threatening to kill her mother. Julie refused to let him feel sorry for a con artist. Chad appreciated her being there for him. She was thankful to have him and the children there with her and Doug. Julie wanted to make tea, but he had to do something first. Steve told Marlena that he had Shane call the warden to keep Clyde from contacting anyone to kill for him on the outside. Marlena wasn’t sure how they would keep Catarina safe when they didn’t know where she was. They couldn’t do it, but Steve reminded her of the silver lining. Marlena was excited to tell John that he didn’t kill Catarina. She picked up her phone to make a call. Tate didn’t want to move on too fast and apologized to Sophia. He’s convinced things won’t work with Holly, so he’s ready to move on with his life. Tate enjoyed spending time with Sophia and wanted to keep doing it. He invited her to come over to watch a movie. Holly arrived at the Kiriakis mansion and sent a text to Tate. An officer brought Cat to the interrogation room. She was surprised about who wanted to see her. Chad let her know that he wanted to see her.
