Alex dropped Kelsey off with Bonnie. He wanted to surprise Stephanie with a romantic night by going to Jada’s place. Stephanie wasn’t there so he decided to text her. She woke up in a strange bed. Stephanie realized that she and Theo were on the bed together, but they were dressed. She panicked when she realized that Alex texted her. Stephanie was glad they were there for each other, but they made a mistake by spending the night together. She asked him not to say anything to Alex. Stephanie rushed to the pub to meet with Alex. Alex apologized to her and promised to make an effort. He cut himself off when he realized that she was wearing the same outfit she had on the day before. She implied that she stayed with her parents because Jada and Shawn hooked up at the apartment. He was relieved because he thought he lost her. She insisted that he wasn’t going to lose her. They apologized to each other. Alex promised to do more to fix what happened.
Holly confronted EJ at the town square. She ripped into him about going after the Kiriakis family. Holly blamed him for why her grandmother was losing her home. EJ explained that there was still a chance to save everything. Holly stormed off but not before she let it slip that the Kiriakis’ found a buyer for the mansion. EJ got on the phone with Rita to find out about the buyer. He wanted everything. Paulina went to visit Chanel and Johnny. She was surprised when she saw the baby’s full name (Olivia Alexandra). They explained that they wanted to honor Lexie for Theo and Abe. Paulina didn’t let on that it hurt. Chanel asked how Theo and Abe were doing. She noticed how uncomfortable Johnny became. The trio talked about EJ and Lexie secrets. Johnny asked Paulina to get ice. While Paulina was gone, Johnny told Chanel his secret about Lexie. Chanel understood that he was trying to honor his aunt’s wishes. She wanted to know if he was keeping anymore secrets. Theo walked in the room so Johnny didn’t answer her question. Johnny went to DiMera Enterprises so they could talk. Chanel checked on Theo. He said it was weird losing Lexie a second time. Paulina came back in the room and asked Theo how his father was doing. Theo thought she should ask him that herself. Paulina thought Abe should come to her if he wanted to talk to her. She didn’t like Johnny’s secret, and Chanel didn’t like it either. Johnny wanted to talk to EJ at the office. He let his father know that everyone knew that he knew that EJ hid Lexie. Johnny let him know that people weren’t happy about it. He said that he lied to Chanel about keeping more secrets about Kristen, Coriseal, and Holly. Arianna happened to walk by and heard them talking. She managed not to hear what EJ did, but she heard him say that Holly didn’t need to know anything about it.
