Julie had a heart to heart with Marlena about them moving on with their lives. She told Marlena that she went out with Foster and enjoyed the time with him. Unfortunately part of her felt guilty about moving on with Foster. Marlena told her that Doug would want her to be happy. Julie agreed to see him again. They talked about Marlena’s situation next. Marlena wasn’t ready to think of anyone, but John. Foster called Julie, and she became excited to see him. EJ and Cat kissed each other. They stopped kissing when they saw Belle and Chad kiss on TV. EJ and Cat tried to downplay how upset they were. He wanted to focus on the future. EJ thought his future was with Cat. He kissed her again. Cat refused to go upstairs with him. She thought they were moving too fast. Belle and Chad were in the park after the game. Chad asked her if she was concerned about people seeing him kissing on TV. She didn’t care and asked if it bothered him. Chad didn’t care who saw them either. They started talking about the chess set that Marlena inherited from Stefano. Chad wanted to know more about the chess set. He wanted to look into it for her. Johnny wanted to surprise Chanel with a second honeymoon, but her thoughts were elsewhere. Chanel thought the future was too scared to think about it. Johnny wanted to focus on her. Paulina showed up at the apartment and wanted to see EJ. She talked to Johnny about the miracle drug and how it could help Chanel. Johnny didn’t think of that before. Chanel was upset about it. She might not want to take a drug from EJ. Chanel didn’t want to be indebted to EJ.
