Steffy: You and dad kissed, that has to mean something.
Taylor: It always means something.
Steffy: Okay, so did you guys talk about it?
Taylor: We did, kind of I mean, he’s trying to avoid it and he’s being cute about it, which is totally annoying. So– I don’t know.
Steffy: Look at you. Okay, you don’t know what this meant to dad but it’s uh, it’s pretty clear it meant something to you.
Brooke: Oh ridge, you should be overjoyed right now. Your daughter’s family is back together and her husband is alive.
Ridge: I am extremely grateful for all of that.
Brooke: But… there’s something else on your mind. It’s okay. If there’s something troubling you or you’re worried about something, I’m the one to share it with. So what is it? You can talk to me.
Liam: How long are the kids gonna be out?
Hope: Um, a while I uh, I told aunt donna to text me when she’s coming back.
Liam: That’s a good idea my very smart, very hot wife.
Hope: You know what, I’m full of ideas right now.
Liam: Oh yeah, like what?
Hope: Mmm…
[ Sighs ]
Taylor: I’m not trying to make a big deal out of it, you know, it’s– it was just one really long kiss.
Steffy: Yeah, one kiss with the man you love in one of the most romantic places in the world.
Taylor: We had a moment.
Steffy: Just a moment?
Taylor: Uh-huh. I mean, it seemed significant at the time, you know, but as always, it’s complicated.
Steffy: Complications are a cop-out. That’s what I believe now, I do. I mean, ever since the shooting, finn coming back into my life, like, I realized life is too precious. You got to go out there and get what you want.
Taylor: See, that’s never been a problem for you. You’re my inspiration. My brave, adventurous girl.
Finn: Hey, I’m back.
Steffy: Don’t say anything about li
Taylor: Of course not.
Steffy: Hi.
Finn: Hey.
Steffy: How was your appointment?
Finn: Good, I mean, I almost missed it. So many people were stopping me to say hello.
Steffy: Okay, what happened with your exam?
Finn: Oh, they’re just, they’re gonna keep me on the same meds that my mom had me on but, I’m doing remarkably well.
Steffy: He didn’t say anything else? That’s it?
Finn: Yeah, yeah.
Taylor: Okay, that’s– that’s a relief.
Finn: Okay, well, I hope you aren’t too worried about it. I– I get the feeling like I’m walking in on something.
Steffy: It’s nothing bad. I was just actually having a conversation with my mom. She has, uh, she has some wonderful news.
[ Taylor stammers ]
Brooke: Ridge, you’re very thoughtful and you hate to see the people closest to you upset.
Ridge: It’s true.
Brooke: Is it sheila?
Ridge: Sheila? What? No, I– no. What do you mean? I don’t–
Brooke: Well, I don’t know if something’s on your mind. Is it something about li? Why keep this all bottled up? I mean, we’re so excited about the future.
Ridge: So am I. I am too.
Brooke: Yes, of course you are. You and taylor must be through thrilled to know that finn’s alive, that he’s back with steffy and her family and now you don’t have to worry about her anymore.
Ridge: It was– it was crazy not– not just hearing his voice on the phone that was– was weird enough but then he showed up in the hotel room and it almost felt like, like this– like everything was lifted and this fog was gone and taylor and I, we got swept up in it, you know?
Brooke: I’m sure. What you and taylor shared in monaco must have been extremely special.
Ridge: Yeah, it was.

[ Hope sighs ]
Hope: I never want this to change.
Liam: Never, huh? You don’t think that could get a little, uh…
Hope: Mmm. Mm-mm. Not with you. And I love you. And I love our family. And I love these moments where we can just reconnect with each other. And bask in each other’s love.
Brooke: I’m not trying to pry. I do understand that what happened in monaco was very significant for you and taylor. You guys are her parents. And you were worried about her. I know it’s hard to see a child suffering and you can’t ease their pain. But after all that time that steffy was grieving, it must’ve been amazing to see her happy again.
Ridge: Just seeing those guys walk into the hotel room holding hands. It– I don’t– I don’t know how to explain it.
Brooke: It’s okay, you don’t have to explain everything to me. Those memories are for you and taylor.
Ridge: It’s just a lot to process.
Brooke: Oh, you’ll just tell me in your own time. I’m just so thrilled for you.
Finn: Wow, unexpected reunions are breaking out all over.
Taylor: Well, it’s–
Steffy: Look you and dad kissed. It doesn’t guarantee anything. But… obviously, you’re feeling something.
Taylor: I sure felt something. What? No, we were swept up in the moment of joy, that was it.
Steffy: I get that you want to protect yourself. You have been burned before.
Taylor: Yeah. Multiple times, for years. Your father just moved in with brooke.
Steffy yeah, but then you guys went to monaco.
Taylor: Yeah, well, that hasn’t changed since we got home.
Steffy: He’s just helping her after her accident.
Taylor: She probably fell on purpose.
Steffy: That’s true
Taylor: No, I think it’s more than him just helping her out.
Steffy: Has he recommitted himself to brooke? No, he hasn’T. And after that kiss, I dunno, he might not.
Taylor: I don’t want to think about it. I– I really don’T. I just, I– I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to get wrapped up in all of this. You know, right now, the most important thing to me is– is you and finn being together. Your beautiful family. You know, you know I came downstairs this morning and– and kelly was singing at the top of her lungs and she was doing these happy little turns in the middle of the living room. And this whole house is filled with love again and joy and happiness. And hayes has his father back and kelly has a reason to sing. Please don’t wish anything for me, okay, because, because my heart’s desire is right here in front of me.
Steffy: I love you so much.
Taylor: I love you too. I love you both. And on that note, I’m gonna get out of here because I’m not sure when amelia’s gonna come back with the kids but you two deserve some much-needed privacy.
Finn: I like the way your mom thinks.
Steffy: So do I.
And it’s easier than ever to get
your projects done right .
Finn: We’re alone.
Steffy: Now you can tell me how you really feel.
Finn: What? That’s not obvious?
Steffy: How did it go with the doctors and your appointment?
Finn: It’s kind of a mood killer babe.
Steffy: Not if there’s something wrong.
Finn: There’s not. Okay, I’m all good. I’m still healing but there’s no permanent damage.
Steffy: So… no restrictions. No orders to take it easy.
Finn: No.
Steffy: Okay.
Finn: I can, uh, resume normal activity right away.
Steffy: I know how long we’ve been apart. Normal activity means something a little different to us.
Finn: She said not to worry, I’m getting stronger every day.
Steffy: Good. I’m glad to hear it.
Brooke: I hope I didn’t come at a bad time.
Liam: Oh, no, no, no, no, it’s fine.
Hope: Yeah, it’s totally okay. So, how are things going with ridge? Any uh, backlash from that photo I posted yet are we–
Brooke: Honey I told you not to worry about that. Deacon is the last thing on my husband’s mind right now.
Liam: Really? Why? What’s going on?
Brooke: I just think that ridge and taylor are still overwhelmed by finn’s return.
Liam: Well yeah, I mean it’s– it’s emotional whiplash. They went over to monaco because they were so concerned about steffy, only to find out that the man she’s been grieving is alive.
Brooke: Seems like what happened there had a very profound impact on ridge.
[ Knocking ]
Ridge: Hey, you’re back. Hi.
Taylor: Hi. Is this a bad time?
Ridge: Never a bad time. Actually, I was just thinking about you
Taylor: Yeah? Tell me more.
Steffy: Whoa.
Finn: It’s not quite as romantic as monaco.
>Steffy: It definitely is. To have you be here… in our house… I never thought I was gonna get a moment like this. To see you, to feel you. You have no idea how much I needed that. Kids can change minds…
Liam: Ridge has gotta be thrilled though.
Brooke: Oh he is, of course. We all are. But still, a sudden shift like that, no matter how wonderful it is, can still throw you off balance a little bit.
Liam: Huh. I think I know someone who could help him out with that.
Brooke: Yeah? I’ll be there of course and I’ll be supportive. But still, ridge and taylor experienced something incredible over in monaco, and this is their moment.
Liam: Well, it’s very cool of you to even let them have it, so.
Brooke: A little while ago, I may not have been as magnanimous but ridge is living with me right now. Not sure exactly what that means for our marriage, but I just… I don’t want him to have to choose between our family and his family with taylor.
Ridge: So, what’s it like at the house? Party central, I bet, huh?
Taylor: Yeah, yeah, it is. It’s literally the happiest house I’ve ever been in.
Ridge: I bet it is.
Taylor: You’re welcome to join us anytime.
Ridge: Oh, thank you. Yeah, I was thinking about that driving into work this morning, how– how it must be over there at the breakfast table. Everyone laughing and noisy and…
Taylor: Yeah. You miss it?
Ridge: Yeah.
Taylor: Like I said, you are welcome to come anytime you want. Except this afternoon.
Ridge: Why not this afternoon?
Taylor: Because um, our daughter and her husband are reconnecting.
Ridge: Oh!
Taylor: Yeah, so–
Ridge: That’s, that’s why you’re here
Taylor: Yes. Yes, I needed to give them some privacy. Right?
Ridge: Enough said. Got it.
Taylor: Ah ridge, it’s– it’s so amazing that finn is home and steffy and finn got a second chance. What’s better than second chances, really? Except for maybe third or whatever the number may be.
Steffy: I thought I lost you
Finn: But you didn’t and you won’T.
Steffy: I’m never gonna take another moment with you for granted. We need to show each other and we need to tell each other… how much we love one another.
