Donna: So, um brooke’s still out?
Katie: Yep. What are you doing back here?
Donna: Oh. I don’t know. Uh, what are you still doing here?
Katie: Working. I get a lot of time and it’s nice and quiet.
Donna: Mm, and safe, uh, with the security outside. It’s like fort knox.
Katie: Well, sheila is still out there somewhere.
Donna: Yes. And until the police catch her, brooke is going to be careful.
Katie: So is ridge. He has around the clock security for both brooke and taylor.
[ Door sliding ]
Taylor: Hey.
Thomas: Hey.
Taylor: How’s the new surfboard?
Thomas: Eh, it’s, uh, it’s good. It’s good. Yeah, it’s just, uh, I– I don’t wanna stay out there for too long. I make sure you’re– you’re safe.
Taylor: You mean until sheila is back behind bars?
Taylor: Yes. Yeah. And hopefully that will be very, very soon. But until then, you’ve got yourself a temporary roomie.
Taylor: Yay! Well, honey, I’m glad you’re here. But– but, you know, you don’t have to stay here. Your dad has beefed up the security so much out there, I’m– I’m safe.
Thomas: Yeah, I know. I just– I want to keep my own watchful eye on you. Okay? Sheila’s unpredictable. Who knows what she’s going to do? So we got to stay vigilant till that psycho’s caught.
[ Machines beeping ]
Sheila: I need you to open your eyes, sweetheart. Please. Finn, just open your eyes. Why won’t you wake up?
Taylor: I still feel so foolish for even thinking that sheila could change. I– if I wasn’t so busy having a kumbaya moment with her, maybe I–
Thomas: Mom, come on. Nothing you did or didn’t do caused what happened.
Taylor: I know, but still. I wonder if she’s in L.A.
Thomas: I wonder how she lives with herself, after she killed her own son?

Katie: So something tells me that you’re here not just for a friendly visit with your sister.

[ Both laughing ]
Katie: What’s going on?
Donna: Um… well, uh…
Katie: What? Does this have anything to do with the new man in your life?
Donna: Uh… it has everything to do with him. But, he isn’t new. It’s eric.
Katie: Ah.
Carter: Quinn. What are you doing here?
Quinn: I’m sorry. I– I’m sorry. I know, I know I’m interrupting, but believe me, nothing was going to stop me from– from getting here to say what I need to say, and– from telling you what you need to hear.
Thomas: Okay. So if you go to the office, can you please just let me know I can go with you, or we can let one of the security guards know and they can accompany you.
Taylor: Thank you. But I– I think I’m just going to stay here and work from home, you know? And now that my handsome son is living here, temporarily, I get to spend quality time with him.
Thomas: Well, I love spending quality time with you, too. Um, have you been spending any quality time with, uh, dad?
Taylor: Hm, parent trap!
[ Both laughing ] Honey, I’ve told you. Listen, if it happens, wonderful. And if it doesn’t?
Taylor: Well, no, no. Don’t– don’t really say that.
Taylor: If it doesn’t, if it doesn’t– he’s the biggest dummy in the world.
Taylor: That’s true. Yeah. Like, I– I’m not saying that dad needs to be cornered or forced into realizing something. I think he should definitely just realize that on his own, that his future is with you. Not with brooke.
Katie: I had no idea about you and eric.
Donna: Well, we were very discreet. Until today.
Katie: Until quinn caught you. Quinn and bridget.
Donna: Hope knows too.

Donna: Ah– I’ll just explain later, okay? I just– the point is… the truth is out. Okay, you’re not saying anything. You’re worrying me. What– what are you thinking?
Katie: Uhm… under normal circumstances, I believe that marriage should be respected, but we’re talking about quinn here. And shdid cheat on eric with carter.
Donna: And that’s exactly why eric couldn’t move beyond that. Quinn fell in love with carter, and she still is.
Katie: Wh– what?
Donna: So much so, she raced out of there and she’s trying to stop the wedding.
Paris: We’re in the middle of our wedding, quinn. You need to leave. Charlie? Yeah– go ahead and finish the ceremony.
Charlie: Right. Right. Uh– carter, uh, carter, you want me to go on?
Bill: This has got to be good.
Paris: Look. This is crazy. I don’t know what quinn is up to, but just tell her to leave. We can not let her spoil this special moment for us.
Quinn: I apologize again for bursting in. I know this is your wedding day, and– and it’s supposed to be special.
Paris: Then just go.
Quinn: I can’T. Not until I speak with carter. Not until you hear what I have to say. So many things have happened. It changed everything. But one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for you. Carter, I love you more than anything in this world. And I can’t– I can’t let you go.
[ Machines beeping ]
[ Sheila sighing ]
Sheila: Come on, baby. Open those eyes. I just want to see those beautiful eyes looking back at me. I can’t lose you, finn. I just can’t lose you again.
Taylor: Thomas. Look at these pictures of babies. Oh my gosh.
Thomas: Oh!
Taylor: Oh.
Thomas: Oh, it’s cute!

Thomas: You’re, uh, you’re missing them a lot, aren’t ya?
Taylor: So much, so much. I– I miss the way it was before sheila went on a rampage and took so much from steffy and the kids. Look, I– thomas, I know that your sister is– is going to get through this. Of course. And she’s– she’s going to be everything that she needs to be to kelly and hayes, but– my heart hurts, when I think about the four of them together. And– and just knowing that it’ll never be the same again.
Thomas: You’re right. For steffy and the kids, it’s not going to be the same. But they could have a life that’s just as good, moving forward, it’s going to be different. And with dad, his life isn’t going to be the same either. But he could definitely have a– a better life moving forward, with you.
Taylor: Thomas, I swear!
Thomas: Hold on, hold on! I’m just say– I’m just saying that dad, right now, is not technically with brooke, okay? And he’s over at granddad’s house. He’s trying to figure out what’s next for him. If I was a betting man, I’m just saying that– that the odds are likely, and– and he realize that um, you’re– you’re much better for him. His life is better with you.
Katie: Quinn went to stop carter from marrying paris?
Donna: Yeah. And whether she got there or not is anyone’s guess, I–
Katie: Okay, well, there’s– there’s a lot to unpack there, but, uh. One thing’s for sure. Quinn’s marriage to eric is over.
Donna: And I know a lot of people might think what eric and I did was wrong, but– I mean, our relationship was never anything sordid, anything but. I mean, we’re each other’s best friends, we’re– we relax, we make each other happy, and– and what we have is just– it’s really beautiful.
Katie: I think they call that love.
Donna: Yeah, I think they do. I love him and– he said he loves me. And I– I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but, I really think my future is going to be with eric.
Katie: Aw, honey.
[ Both giggling ]
Quinn: I know this is the last thing you expected. For me to walk in here and– and say what I just did. But I– I couldn’t live with myself if I let you go through with it. I– I– I couldn’t let you go through with a marriage that we both know you don’t really want.
Paris: You did not just say that! Tell me she didn’t just say that.
Ridge: Enough with the theatrics, please. What is this all about?
Quinn: I ju– just said what this is all about, ridge. It’s about my love for carter.
Ridge: Well, what– what about your marriage to my father? Is that anything or–
Quinn: My marriage to eric is over. He wants to be with donna.
Ridge: He wants what?
Quinn: Oh, come on! Ridge! You never approved of your father and me being together in the first place. I figured you’d be the happiest person in the world about this news.
Ridge: Right, I’m not saying I’m not happy, I just want to know what happened–
Quinn: You don’t– can I explain all of this to you later? ‘Cause right now, I had to– I had to tell you how I feel. That it’s you. You’re the one. You’re the man for me. And if it sounds like I am hopelessly, desperately in love, it is because I am, from the very second you and I ever connected. We have been working so hard to do the right thing. We’ve been running for our feelings so that we wouldn’t hurt the people that we love. But I– I’m done. I’m done running. I’m done hiding. So I just– I just want to say it over and over and over again. I love you. I love you. I love you, carter. I don’t care who knows. I don’t care what anyone has to say. I love you. And I want to make my life, with you.
Paris: Don’t listen to her, carter. She’s trying to stop you from moving on to your future, trying to stop you from moving on in general. You belong with me and not her.

Donna: I’m happy for me, too. Eric is just– oh, he just feels terrible that quinn got hurt. Even though she still loves carter. And that’s why she ran over to il giardino when she found out they were done. Can you believe she’s been suppressing these feelings for carter this whole time?
Katie: Well, not anymore. Poor guy. He deserves better.
Donna: I know. But eric is actually hoping that she gets there in time. He encouraged her to run over there and stop the wedding.
Katie: Bright side is– is eric is free. You can be with the man you love. I feel sorry for paris. And though this wedding was rushed and unexpected.
Donna: I know. I know. And– and I think carter was just running from his feelings for quinn.
Katie: Well, that could all change after today.
Donna: Maybe he and quinn could be reunited as well.
Ridge: Well, maybe we should give you some privacy so you can talk.
Paris: No, there’s nothing to talk about. Charlie was just about to pronounce us man and wife. And we will not let quinn get in the way of our special day, will we, carter? This is our wedding. Just tell her to leave, okay? Make it clear to quinn, once and for all, that your future is with me.
Quinn: Carter. I love you. More than I ever thought it was possible to love any man on this planet. Your love has changed me in the most amazing ways. I’m the best version of myself when I’m with you. You make me feel calm, and at peace. You’re the man that I want to kiss every night before I go to sleep. You’re the man that I want to wake up to, every single morning. And I want to hold you in my arms. And I want to love you, every moment of every day, for the rest of my life.
