Jack tells Nikki about Jabot’s plan to make it appear like Jabot is shutting down entirely so the AI program can’t attack the company. Nikki tells Jack that Victor has the AI program. Nikki thinks that Jack’s plan is extremely risky and she decides to try and take the program away from Victor and if she succeeded she will give Jack an update.

Diane is upset with Jack because he told Nikki about their plan because she is worried that Nikki will tell Victor.

Audra and Claire have an argument because Audra wants Claire to stay out of her life. Claire tells Audra that she doesn’t have a job, a boyfriend, and only Sally as a friend. Audra slaps Claire. Claire puts her hands around Audra’s neck and tells Audra not to touch her again. Audra tells Holden that Audra just declared war on her. Audra tells Holden he better not get in her way. Claire and Kyle decide to team up to put Audra in her place. Claire tells Kyle that she knows part of Audra’s California secret but she knows there is more to it and once she finds out the whole truth she will bury Audra with it.

The entire episode takes place in Los Angeles.

Matt arrives with Detective Burrow and shuts the door to the room where he is holding Noah and Sienna and tells Noah that he considered him a friend until he found out he was sleeping with his wife. Matt tells Sienna that if she wasn’t happy in their marriage she should have told him and he would have done way anything they needed to do to fix it but instead she chose Noah.

Victor tells Nick and Sharon that he is going to threaten Matt and tell him that if he doesn’t tell him where Noah is he will use the AI program to take away everything he owns. Matt tells Noah that if he doesn’t snort the baggie of Noah picks up the baggie of drugs and is about to snort it when Burrow he gave him he will kill Siena.

Detective Burrow tells Matt to put his hands in the air and begins to read him his rights. Annie arrives and points a gun at Detective Burrow because it turns out she has been on Matt’s payroll for years. Noah is about to snort the drugs when Detective Burrow gets up and pins Matt to the wall they struggle, and a shot goes off and Detective Burrow is killed.

Noah and Sienna go to the Shadow Room and Sienna gets money for them to get away and they rush outside to Sienna’s car. Matt hears Sienna’s car and gets in his car to follow them. Noah uses Sienna’s burner phone to call Nick and Nick tells Victor and Sharon that Noah is on the phone and he is okay.

Victor is on the phone with Matt and tells him they don’t need him anymore so he will lose everything he owns in one minute. Victor gives his tech team the order to execute the AI program.

The episode takes place in Los Angeles.

Victor arrives to help Nick and Sharon search for Noah. Victor goes to the Shadow Room to confront Matt.
Matt tells Victor that he is Mitch Bacall and he is nit this Matt Clark guy he thinks he is. Victor says that he doesn’t have time for playing games. He offers Matt money to tell him where Noah is located. Matt insists that he is not Mitch and claims not to know anybody named Noah. Matt finally admits that he knows Noah was having an affair with his wife Sienna and they were probably having drugs and celebrating somewhere.

Nick and Sharon search for the drug warehouse where Matt sent them, but they are unable to find Noah there even with Detective Burrow’s help. So, they decide they need more help than what the police are able to give them and head back to the hotel.

Noah uses Sienna’s necklace to undo the door’s hinges. When they do, Matt is on the other side of the door.

Victor meets with Nick and Sharon back at the hotel and tells him about his conversation with Matt. Victor says he doesn’t want money. Matt just likes torturing them and getting revenge. Nick says that they have to find a way to find Noah’s location. Victor says he has an idea.

Audra asks Nate if he and Victoria are in a relationship after she sees them talking at Crimson Lights. Nate tells Audra that his relationship with Victoria is none of her business. Audra asks for Nate’s forgiveness one more time but Nate tells her that he can’t forgive her and, even if he could forgive her, he would never get back together with her because he doesn’t trust her anymore.

Victor tells Victoria he needs to go to Los Angeles to help Nick and Noah so he needs her to hold down the fort at Newman Enterprises.

Cane tells Phyllis that he is selling Arabesque to Victor because he wants to put his past behind him and start something new with her. Cane tells Phyllis that, if she wants to start something knew with him, she has to admit that she gave the AI program to Victor and he was going to give her Jabot in exchange for the AI program. Cane and Phyllis have a long conversation and, then, Phyllis tells Cane she will tell him the truth.

Jack begins the process of taking Jabot offline before Victor can attack the company’s computer system and destroy the company.

Adam once again explains to Sally that he will always miss baby Ava but even if he had chosen to save baby Ava there wasn’t a guarantee the baby would live. Sally tells Adam she heard everything he said earlier but she still can’t forgive him for choosing to save her life instead of the life of the baby. Adam goes to get drunk and then goes up to his room to grieve the loss of his relationship with Sally and the death of baby Ava.

Victor and Nikki are upset with Victoria for forcing Nick to take a leave of absence. Victoria tells her parents if they don’t trust her decisions for the company they could fire her.

Sally tells Nick she needs time to think about moving in with him.

Victoria asks Nate to be interim COO while Nick is on leave of absence.

This is a special stand-alone episode honoring the memory of Jerry Douglas who portrayed Abbott family Patriarch John Abbott. The episode includes a special appearance by Kim Douglas who was Jerry Douglas’s wife plays the role of Zelda Traci’s literary agent.

Traci talks to her agent Zelda and tells her she is worried that her family will be torn apart if they continue to argue. Then she tells Zelda all the details of why the Abbott family is fighting with each other.

Zelda persuades Traci to remind her brothers and sister how important it is that they are a family. Traci calls a family meeting and asks everyone what their father would think about them arguing with each other.

Ashley Jack and Traci have flashbacks of advice their father gave them when they each went through rough times.

Kyle urges Jack and Ashley not to argue about Diane and Tucker and concentrate on their sibling relationship, and respect that they are both happy in their personal lives.

Traci encourages Kyle to forgive Summer because holding on to anger will cause him pain. Kyle tells Traci he doesn’t know if he can forgive Summer.

Jack and Ashley don’t know if they can get past their current disagreement.

Faith decides to return to college to take some summer classes because she can’t go to the places she loves in town without thinking about what Cameron did to her.

Nick tries to persuade Sally to forgive Adam because he was faced with an impossible and heartbreaking choice. Nick also tells Sally that Adam is grieving the loss of the baby too.

Nick asks Sally to live with him and tells her to think about it before she answers him..

Adam later goes to talk to Sally who is pretending to be asleep and he explains that he loved the baby and is heartbroken that he didn’t get to meet her. Adam explains to Sally that he saved her life because he loves her and even if they aren’t together he couldn’t imagine a world without her in it. Adam tells Sally that he hopes she can someday forgive him but he understands if she can’t forgive him. Adam tells Sally that he will never forgive himself for hurting her.

Nikki tells Victoria that she should let Nick decide if he needs time off to get over his trauma. Nikki tells Victoria that she won’t support her if she forces Nick to take a leave of absence.

Nick tells Victoria working will help him heal but she tells him that the decision has already been made. He must step away from his job.

Sharon talks to Nick about what happened with Cameron that she can get it out and not keep it inside herself. S Cameron to protect Faith has made her feel alive for the first time since Rey died.

Adam and Sally are shattered by the death of baby Ava. Sally is angry with Adam because he didn’t choose to save Ava instead of her. Adam is heartbroken because he has lost Sally and baby Ava since he knows Sally will never forgive him.

Nick tells Adam he made the right decision and offers his sympathy and a hug to Adam. Elena also tells Adam to be gentle with himself because he also lost the baby.. Victor also tries to comfort Adam and advises him not to shut out the people who love him. Adam tells Victor nobody loves him and nothing matters anymore.

Sally sobs as she looks at a picture of her baby and apologizes to her for letting her down by not fighting for her. Sally promises baby Ava she will always be her mother. Sally calls the nurse and asks the nurse to take her to see her baby so she can hold her and say goodbye.

Elena tells Adam that Sally’s blood pressure is too high, and Sally is in danger of placental abruption which means the placenta separates from the body and both Sally and the baby Elena tells Adam he must choose if they save Sally and the baby in surgery. Adam then makes the agonizing choice, but the viewers don’t know what he told Elena to do. Elena later tells Adam Sally is okay, but they couldn’t save the baby. Sally awakens and asks Adam if the baby is okay.

Chance brings over Cameron’s suitcase to Sharon’s house to see if Sharon and Nick could help him find clues to where Cameron is holding Faith. Sharon finds a false bottom in the suitcase with plans to the Genoa City sewer system. Chance figures out where Cameron is and he, Sharon, and Nick go rescue Faith. Sharon arrives at the sewer, unties Faith, and tries to run with Faith and Nick but Cameron stops them and grabs Sharon. Cameron holds a knife to Sharon’s throat and gives Nick five seconds to choose if Sharon or Faith dies. Nick tells Faith to run but Cameron tells Nick that Faith has a bomb strapped under her sweatshirt. Cameron tells Nick to choose and starts counting backwards from five. Sharon bites Cameron, pushes him away from her, and stabs him with the knife she had taped to her leg as Nick, Chance, and Faith watch Cameron fall to the floor.

Victoria tells Nate she needs his help while Nick takes a leave of absence. Elena interrupts their lunch and tells Victoria that Nate is going to use her just like Ashland used her.

Connor apologizes to Billy and Chelsea for the way he has been acting lately. Connor doesn’t want to go talk to a therapist. He tells Chelsea he just needs her.

Cameron asks Sharon to go away with him and he will bring Faith home. Sharon is about to leave with Cameron when Nick arrives and he and Cameron punch each other for a few minutes while Sharon screams for help. Cameron knocks Nick to the floor and reminds Sharon he has Faith. Nick comes to and follows Cameron upstairs. Nick comes back downstairs and tells Sharon he saw that Cameron got away through a hole he made in the closet of Noah’s old room.

Sally and Adam are eating at Society when she starts having cramps. Adam takes her to the hospital where she tells Elena her symptoms when she has another cramp.
