Dani went to Martin and Smitty’s place to talk to Samantha about her potential modeling career. She told her that she made Chelsea famous. Chelsea showed up, and Dani realized that Samantha asked her to be her manager. She thought Dani would be a better manager, but Samantha wanted to work with Chelsea. Eva went to the hospital to see Laura. She had flowers from Nicole. Shanice wondered how things were going with her. Eva tried to pump her for information about Laura. Shanice told her about the new nurse. Eva became suspicious about the nurse but said Nicole would want to thank her for taking care of Laura. She tried to find out the nurse’s name, but Shanice didn’t know her. Leslie thought about injecting Laura with a drug. She read the invitation for Ted and Nicole’s anniversary. Leslie mocked them as she read it. She had the perfect gift for them. Doug was gambling and winning while Joey watched him. Randy showed up at the gambling den to check on Doug. Doug felt like his luck was changing for the better. Shanice called him because he was needed for surgery. He tried to get out of it, but he was the only doctor available to do it. Doug was upset that he had to leave, but he stormed off. Joey was glad that he left because he didn’t want him to be on a winning streak. Andre watched Nicole’s interview. Nicole discussed the times she had to go to therapy. She talked about her first miscarriage and when she lost a patient. It happened on a night that she couldn’t find Ted. Ted walked in the room so Andre stopped the video. While he was talking to Andre about the video, Leslie pranked his phone. She listened to him say hello on the phone. Ted got off the phone and continued talking to Andre about Nicole’s interview. Nicole discussed being home with her toddler, Martin. Martin had a fever and was getting sicker. Her family wasn’t home and Ted showed up at the hospital hours later. The incident left her a mess. Nicole was grateful that Ted was attentive ever since that incident. Leslie called Ted again, but he ignored the call. He talked to Andre about his marriage. Ted said it wasn’t perfect. Andre let him know that he was like a second father to him. Ted became uncomfortable when he thought about what he did to Nicole. Andre assured him that he could talk to him about anything. Ted admitted that he was unfaithful to Nicole more than 20 years ago before Kat was born. He confided in Andre that he and Nicole suffered several miscarriages. Ted pulled away during that time. He met another woman. She didn’t have a care in the world so he convinced himself it was more than sex so he wouldn’t feel guilty about what he did. He told Andre that she had an abortion so Nicole never found out about the affair. After that, he vowed to be a better husband to Nicole. Ted admitted that he paid Leslie off. Andre was shocked by what he heard. He filled Andre in about the things that Leslie did. Ted appreciated him taking the time to listen to him. Andre advised him to tell Nicole the truth. Ted couldn’t do that. He believed that Leslie was out of his life.

Eva found her mother wearing a new wig. She wanted to know what Leslie was doing with it. Leslie didn’t tell her everything, but she thought it would give them what they wanted. Eva asked her about pretending to be a nurse at the hospital. She questioned whether she was in Laura’s room. Leslie admitted to being in her room. She jokingly admitted to hitting Laura with her bike. Leslie backtracked her confession and told her that she does everything for her. Eva felt like she did things for herself. They talked about Alan. Leslie felt like he wasn’t there for them, but Eva didn’t agree with her. She wanted to fix their lives, but Eva thought she was going too far. Vanessa wanted to meet with Diego, but she saw Joey. She changed her mind and talked to Joey. They talked about their marriages. Joey admitted that his wife had an affair with one of his pit bosses. Vanessa talked about being with Doug in high school. Doug thought about gambling while he was in surgery. The patient’s blood pressure dropped and the bleeding couldn’t be stopped. He needed someone else to finish the surgery. Randy called him, and he talked about what happened. Doug worked all day and gambled all night. He couldn’t keep doing it. Doug decided he needed to stop gambling. Leslie tried to call Ted again, but he didn’t answer the phone. She got upset when he didn’t answer the phone. Leslie refused to get ignored by him.

Haley talked to Bill about the lawsuit, and the way the town treats her. He said that he was just as powerful as Dani in the town. A woman let Dani know that she wouldn’t be on the board for First Gen Grant anymore. Dani wanted to know if she was being fired. Martin tried to get Tyrell to tell him what Samantha was going through. Samantha told Smitty that she went to him because he was understanding. Smitty didn’t like the way she was going about things. She didn’t think Martin would understand that she wanted to be a model. He said that he and Martin couldn’t travel around with her. She begged him to take her side. Martin and Tyrell went downstairs. He wanted to know what she was talking to Smitty about. Dani spotted Bill and Hayley at the club. The waiter wouldn’t take Hayley’s order at first. Bill assured her that she would feel at home. Dani was surprised that she was losing her job on the board. Hannah told her that the vote to remove her was unanimous because her behavior was unacceptable. Vernon and Anita hoped that Dani would be able to move on from Bill after everything that happened between them. Bill wanted to be affectionate, but Hayley didn’t think they should. Dani wanted more info from Hannah from the board. She tried to downplay what she did, but the woman told her that someone could have been hurt or killed. Dani wanted to know why they waited so long to let her go. Hannah wanted to transition to be smooth.

Martin didn’t want Samantha to deal with rejection from modeling. She tried to explain how Chelsea was able to model as a teenager. Chelsea wanted to use the money she made modeling to save for college. He reminded her that he and Smitty had enough money. Martin refused to let her drop out of school to model. Samantha got upset with him and stormed off. Anita approached Dani at the club. Dani thought Anita had something to do with her getting kicked off the board. She told her that Hannah waited until after the fashion show to fire her. Anita was determined to get Dani’s job back, but she didn’t want it anymore. She was fine with Dani’s decision. Hayley enjoyed watching Dani get kicked out of the charity. She liked not being the only outcast in the town. Tyrell didn’t understand why Samantha wanted to be a model. She changed the subject and talked to him about the pictures of him online. Smitty tried to talk Martin into letting Samantha dance. He said that Chelsea would look out for her and not let anything happen to him. Smitty wondered if the election was why he didn’t want Samantha to be a model. After his conversation with Smitty, Martin called someone. He needed to see the person right away. Later Martin wanted to talk to Dani at the club about Samantha. Samantha told Smitty and Tyrell that Martin didn’t understand her or what she wanted. Smitty tried to defend Martin, but she didn’t want to hear it. Anita told Vernon what happened with Dani and Hannah. She thought that other foundations would kick her off their boards too. Vernon didn’t want Dani to end up the way she was before. Anita was determined to stop that from happening. Dani let Martin know that modeling wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. He worried about the men that would be preying on her. Dani thought it was important that she had the right manager to keep her safe. Hannah arrived at the Dupree mansion. She wanted Vernon’s input on some upcoming projects. Anita confronted her about kicking Dani off the board. Hannah thought Vernon would understand why they had to kick her off. Anita let her know how she felt about what she did to Dani. She told Hannah that they were getting rid of her instead. Martin wanted to talk to Samantha. He didn’t like the way they left things. She didn’t like it either. He agreed to think about things from her point of view. Martin told her that he talked to Dani to get her opinion. He supported her, but he couldn’t agree to let her become a model. She reminded him that she was a good girl. Samantha wondered why it was okay for Tyrell to do whatever he wanted, but she couldn’t do anything. He didn’t want her to get hurt. Martin wouldn’t forbid her to do it though. She walked out of the room. Smitty warned Martin that she would rebel if they kept turning her own. Anita didn’t want the Dupree family to work with Hannah anymore. The Dupree family foundation would help the underprivileged kids without working with the First Gen Board. Dani was going to chair their organization. She warned her that Hannah would be begging Dani for a job at the board. Bill and Hayley approached Dani about getting kicked off the board. He told her that the board was a way to fill her days. Hayley said she felt bad because she couldn’t lord her power over her anymore. She couldn’t keep treating her the way she did.

Leslie went to the hospital to take care of Laura. She posed as a transfer, but Shanice didn’t fall for her act. She knew Leslie was lying. The doctors went to see Laura to give her good and bad news. She wasn’t suffering any long-term damage from the accident, but she developed an infection that would make her have to stay at the hospital indefinitely. Leslie was happy with Laura’s outcome. Chelsea went to see Samantha so she could give her advice. Samantha told her she wanted to become a model. Chelsea tried to tell her about the downside of modeling, but Samantha still wanted to do it. Samantha asked Chelsea to be her manager. Chelsea was surprised, but she reluctantly agreed to be her manager.

Nicole found the camera Kat had in her office and confronted her about it. She told Kat that she didn’t recognize her anymore. While Nicole was ripping into Kat, Eva was listening. Eva enjoyed what she was hearing. When Nicole and Kat were finished arguing, Eva ended up at Orphey Jean. She spoke to Tomas about Kat. Nicole and Ted met up to talk about what they were going to do with Eva when Laura came back. He thought they should set her up with a hairstyling job to which Nicole agreed with. Once again, Eva was listening to their conversation, but didn’t like what she was hearing.

Everyone was getting ready for the fashion show. Andre was at Dani’s place. She couldn’t believe that it was Chelsea’s last time on the runway. It felt like it was the end of her life. Andre tried to make her feel better. Chelsea, Samantha and Kat arrived at Dani’s place and were surprised to see Andre there. He was there to take pictures. They seemed to buy the excuse and left it alone. Martin and Smitty talked about Samantha attending the fashion show. Smitty wanted to do research about the fashion show for his article. Martin was glad that Smitty was pursuing his passion. Smitty was having second thoughts about how he felt about Martin running for president. Martin let him know that Anita and Vernon ended his plans so it was a moot point.

Anita donated her dress for the silent auction at the fashion show and thought about the past. Tomas surprised Kat at the fashion show. He was in for a surprise when Vernon, Ted, Martin and Smitty approached him. He was intimidated by the men, but they set his mind at ease. They let him know they weren’t worried about Kat. He was the one they were worried about because Kat was a spitfire. The fashion show went off without a hitch. The guests were surprised to see Samantha on the runway. Dani liked what she saw when Samantha walked down the runway. The fashion show featured a silent auction. Everyone bid on the items. Anita’s dress was up for bid. Vernon secretly bid on Anita’s dress so she could have it in her closet where it belonged.

Martin had a nightmare. When he woke up, he snapped at Smitty. Smitty wanted to know what was wrong. Nicole took Eva to meet Laura. Eva flashed back to when she talked to Leslie about hitting her. Ted went to see Leslie to confront her about being in his business. Leslie said she would scream, but Ted wasn’t afraid. He said he earned his respect and thought that no one would believe what she would say about him. Ted gave her the money she wanted and warned her to leave for good. Smitty wanted to know what was going on with Martin, but he changed the subject. They ended up talking about Tyrell and how he was being bullied. Smitty told Martin that he talked to the school about Tyrell getting bullied. While they were talking, Martin said someone should be held accountable. Mona showed up to Laura’s room. Laura said she should be out of the hospital tomorrow. Eva said she knew the job was temporary. She left to get her laptop.

Ted let Leslie know not to ask for anything else. She taunted him about the money. When he was going to make a call, she agreed to do what he wanted. She asked him about calling Nicole and inviting her over. Smitty told Martin not to do anything about the bullying because he might make it worse, and he would push Tyrell away. When they finished talking about Tyrell, Smitty brought up Martin’s nightmare. Ted told Leslie to leave Nicole out of it. Leslie said he involved her when he decided to have a fling with her and broke up with her. She said they had something real and he got her pregnant. Leslie said he had to keep his perfect life intact. Ted said he would always regret betraying Nicole and his family. Leslie asked about what he did to her. Ted said he regretted what he did to her and shouldn’t have told her he would leave Nicole for her. He said he wouldn’t let her destroy what he had with his wife. Ted said he didn’t want to see her again. Leslie wondered what would happen if she saw him again. Ted said he would do whatever it took to protect his family. Eva walked in and heard Ted threatening Leslie. She managed to hide before he saw her. Ted warned Leslie to stay away from his wife before he left. When Ted left, Eva wondered what was going to happen if he came back and saw her. Leslie said he wouldn’t come back. She said they were going to lay low for now and let him think he won. Leslie said they would make their move at the anniversary party so he wouldn’t know what hit him. Smitty wanted Martin to be honest with him because it felt like he was holding something back. Martin didn’t realize what he was doing. Smitty said Tyrell held things back the same way he did. Martin was sick of Smitty talking about him hiding something and wanted to get air. Eva was excited about the money and asked Leslie if it was enough. Leslie said she wanted to make Ted pay. Eva wondered what would happen if Ted told Nicole the truth before she exposed it. Leslie said Ted wouldn’t have given the money if he was going to tell the truth. Leslie met with Jan and Mona and talked about Laura getting out of the hospital and Eva’s job being temporary. After Leslie met with Jan and Mona, she went to Laura’s hospital room. She stuck a needle in Laura’s IV.

Ted told Nicole the truth about Joey’s mother. Nicole didn’t want Vanessa to be fooled so she wanted to tell her the truth. Diego talked to Vanessa about his concerns about her working with Joey. She wasn’t concerned about how he felt about it. Nicole arrived and wanted to talk to Vanessa about Joey. She told Vanessa that Joey’s mother was dead. Vanessa thought there was more to the story than that. She wanted to meet with Joey to find out what was going on. Hayley met with Derek to try to get back into the good graces with the Duprees. She appreciated that he didn’t treat her badly the way the other people in town were. Derek advised her to try to make new friends since her relationship with Naomi was finished. Naomi called 9-1-1 to help Bill because he appeared to be having a heart attack. Bill ended the call because he felt better. Naomi thought their arguing was affecting him physically. Bill said if that was true Dani would have killed him a long time ago.

Vanessa met with Joey to find out why he wanted to buy a house for a dead woman. He told her that he was embarrassed to admit the house was for him because she was so beautiful. Joey didn’t want to seem weak in front of her. She wasn’t happy that he lied to her, but he did it for the right reasons. Vanessa agreed to help him look for a house. After her conversation with Bill, Naomi went to see Dani. Dani advised her to recuse herself from the sexual harassment case. She thought another lawyer could handle the case. Dani’s advice made Naomi more determined to win the case. Dani decided to call Bill. She warned him that he was the one who could hurt Naomi the most despite being a strong person. Dani warned him not to hurt their daughter. Hayley decided to have lunch with Becky (one of the women suing Bill). She tried to stop her from rejecting the settlement. While they were talking, Naomi appeared at their table.

Randy tried to convince Doug that he shouldn’t keep gambling, but he didn’t listen to him. Doug was convinced that his luck was about to change. Randy walked away when Vanessa arrived. She wanted to know what they were talking about. Vanessa wanted to give him a chance to explain himself, but he didn’t. She knew that Randy worked for Joey. Vanessa didn’t want him to associate with Randy anymore. Doug wanted to know why she was around Joey so much. Her relationship with Joey was clean. She let him know that she was helping Joey find a house for his mother. Later Vanessa met with Joey. He flirted with her a little. She wanted to meet his mother one day, and he became uncomfortable. Nicole arrived so he left the table. She thought it was strange that she was talking to him. Vanessa knew people had issues with Joey, but he’s a sweet person. She was tempted to be with Joey since she explained that she had an open relationship with Doug. Nicole was sad for her that she had a relationship like that.

Naomi talked to Bill about him getting disbarred. Bill had another trick up his sleeve. Bill promised to give the women huge settlements along with new positions. He was going to put them on a board to stop sexual harassment. He believed that the women were okay with the settlement. Naomi was determined to prove him wrong. The women arrived in the office. Naomi advised them to reject the settlement because it wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on. They wanted to know if she was worried about them or about her vendetta against her father. Naomi felt like she was being the type of lawyer her father brought her up to be. Bill advised her to let the women take the settlement. While they were talking, Bill suddenly had trouble breathing. His hand started tingling.  Nicole met with Ted and let him know that Vanessa was helping Joey find a place for his mother. Ted told her that Joey’s mother died last year.

When Dani kissed Bill, he pushed her away and told her he didn’t want to kiss her. Bill let her know that there was no future for them. He said whatever they had between them was dead and in the past. Dani said she was in his blood. She wondered why he was there if he didn’t want to kiss and make up. It occurred to her that he was there because of Hayley. Dani said the people at the club are treating Hayley the way they are because the found what she did unacceptable. She said she didn’t ask them to treat Hayley that way. Dani asked if he was going to tell Hayley that they kissed. Bill let her know that he was done with all the games to which she said he was the one who started the games. She gave him the deed to the Delaware house. On his way out, he said they were done. Dani told him to keep thinking that. Hayley went to Bill’s office to surprise him with dinner. Caroline told Hayley that she wasn’t at liberty to say what Bill was up to. Caroline said Bill went to see Dani. Hayley thought he went to see her to talk Naomi out of the lawsuit.

When Bill went to his office, he let Hayley know that he talked to Dani about the way the club treats her. Hayley was upset he talked to her after she asked him not to. Andre showed up to have dinner with Ashley and Derek. He asked Derek to be in the documentary. The dinner was cut short because Andre got a text and had to leave. Ashley and Derek wondered if he was meeting someone. Andre went to see Dani. She wanted him to help her forget that Bill existed. He said the best way to get over someone was to get under someone else. Vernon and Anita went to the club for a date night. Naomi showed up and talked to them about her argument with Bill. She said she was going to make her father pay. Vernon told her that there was so much drama between Bill and their family. He said they didn’t need any more gossip spread about them not being able to handle their business. Anita sided with Naomi, but she thought Naomi should hold Bill accountable without making him an enemy. Despite the warning, Naomi was determined to go after her father. Jacob saw Joey and Marcel together again. He told his father about it. Elon told him not to say anything about it. After Elon finished talking to Jacob, he went to Marcel and ripped into him for being obvious. He warned Marcel to keep his hands clean and warned him that his son wouldn’t ignore corruption. Jacob was listening to the conversation.

Naomi talked to the women who wanted to sue Bill’s firm. They were determined to settle the case. Naomi asked them how much her father offered them to settle. They wondered how she knew about it. It’s something that Bill always does. Naomi told them they were glad to have her as their lawyer. Hayley told Bill about what happened to her at the spa. The people wouldn’t work with her because they were “team Dani.” Chelsea wanted to clear up her reaction to Dani. She wanted to work on the business with Kat. Chelsea wanted Dani to let her do it on her own. She wanted a chance to prove herself the same way Dani did. Dani couldn’t believe Chelsea thought she would try to control things. Chelsea felt like she was. Dani realized that Chelsea was helping her be free. Chelsea assured her that she would be there for her. Bill wanted to help Hayley because the staff at the country club continued to disrespect her. Hayley stopped him from going after the staff. He wished people would see her the way he saw her. Naomi told her clients that Bill wouldn’t let it go if they settled the lawsuit. She said they had to win in order to get anything. They didn’t think they could. Naomi continued to tell them what would happen if future women had to work with Mike. She believed that Bill tried to silence them because they had a case. If they wanted to fight, she refused to give up. Naomi assured them that they would win.

Jacob met with Derek. Derek told him about his concerns with Andre flirting with Ashley. Jacob was willing to take him on, but Derek didn’t think it would be a fair fight. Naomi went to see Bill to confront him about intimidating her clients. She let him know that they wanted to drop the suit against him. Naomi told him that she was the winner because her clients were determined to sue him. Dani told someone that she would replace Chelsea. After she got off the phone, she grabbed a drink. She was determined to drink one time. Chelsea called Kat and told her about her conversation with Dani. She felt like Hayley was the cause of the problems with her family. Hayley walked in the diner after her phone call. Jacob approached Marcel at the club. He realized that his father convinced him to be nice to the new kid. Naomi confronted Bill about sending Hayley to talk to her. She felt that he did it because he thought she was a fool. Bill said that he didn’t send Hayley to talk to him. He said he would fix the problems that Hayley was dealing with. Naomi reminded him that Dani was the powerful one. They love Dani and hate what he did to her. Chelsea approached Hayley at the diner. She called her out for being with her father. Chelsea told her about the way she hurt Dani. Hayley wondered why no one talked about what Dani did to her. Bill called Dani so they could talk. He wanted to meet her at her place. She didn’t think it was a good idea, but he promised not to stay long. Marcel said he wasn’t trying to babysit Jacob. Jacob was glad he wasn’t trying to watch him. Chelsea couldn’t believe Hayley was worrying about the things Dani did after what she did to her. She told her that Dani was suffering. Hayley filled her in about the things Dani has done to her. Chelsea believed that Bill and Hayley were the reasons why Dani was lashing out. Hayley felt like Dani was out of control. Bill arrived at Dani’s place. They went down memory lane and talked about what happened when they first bought the house. Bill and Dani continued to talk about times they shared together. He missed when things were good with Naomi and Chelsea. Bill told him that Naomi was suing his firm. Dani didn’t know that  she was doing it. She was proud of Naomi for taking him on. He knew she would be happy since she’s “team Dani.” Bill said everyone was on her side. Dani wanted to know what he meant by that. Chelsea and Hayley continued to talk about Bill. Hayley told her that Bill loved his daughters. She wanted her to find a way to forgive her father.

While Eva was working, Kat showed up to harass her. She told Eva her act was getting old and accused her of finding the security camera and deleting the footage. Kat asked Eva who she was. Eva didn’t back down from her and told her to do whatever she was going to do to her. At the hospital, Dani asked Ashley if the hospitals were like the ones on Grey’s Anatomy. Ashley said she wasn’t looking for romance in the workplace. While they were talking, Andre showed up. He was there because he was working with Shanice on a documentary about the hospital nurses. Ashley pulled Andre aside to talk to him about why he hasn’t been able to look at her since he tried to kiss her. Andre didn’t have anything to say. Nicole showed up at the nurse’s station. She told Dani that she was worried about her. Dani said she didn’t have to worry because she was getting her life back on track. She told Nicole she was going to help Chelsea with her fashion line. Nicole told her that Chelsea was trying to get out of Dani’s shadow and make a name for herself.

Later on, Chelsea and Kat talked about their fashion line. Dani showed up and tried to take over. Chelsea let Dani know it was her line and suggested she get her own project. Naomi’s clients met in Bill’s office. He tried to call the lawsuit a misunderstanding. between associates. Bill wanted the clients to come into his office before Naomi showed up. When they were in the office, Bill told them he had incriminating information against them that justified them getting fired. He said the lawsuit was a waste of time and money. While he was talking, he suggested a settlement. One of the clients were interested in the settlement. Naomi showed up and said was wrong for him to be talking to her clients. She accused Bill of giving her the wrong time for the meeting to keep her away. Naomi considered his antics a win because it showed how worried he was that she stood a chance against him in court. Kat went to Orphey Gene and met with Thomas. He asked Kat to talk to Naomi so she could drop the lawsuit against Bill. Kat was surprised he would ask her to do that. While Kat was talking to Tomas, she noticed Naomi coming in. On Kat’s way out, she wished Naomi luck with the case. Tomas told Naomi to go after Mike and leave the rest of the workers alone. Naomi said she wasn’t going to just win the case. She was going to ruin Bill. Naomi warned Tomas to work on an exit plan before things got worse.

Nicole talked to Dani about Chelsea’s news. Dani was disappointed that Chelsea decided to quit modeling. She admitted to Nicole that she felt broken and shattered because of her life. Hayley wanted to talk to Naomi about the lawsuit. Naomi told her that she got the promotion that was promised to her client. Hayley felt like she deserved the job she received, but Naomi thought she got it by sleeping with Bill. Evan approached Martin and Smitty at their table. He wanted Smitty to work with him, but Martin turned down the job. After Evan left, Smitty demanded to know why Martin turned down a job for him without telling him about it. Kat was in Nicole’s office and put a camera in there to catch Eva. Leslie talked to Eva about what she was cheated out of growing up. She regretted allowing Ted to talk her into leaving town to hide his mistake. Leslie realized that she said it the wrong way. She was determined to make him pay. Everyone would know the truth about their relationship. She planned on telling the truth at Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party. Smitty didn’t like being the last to know that Martin was running for president. Martin admitted that he was selfish for keeping the job from him and telling him about running for president. Smitty wanted to make sure he wasn’t keeping anything else from him. Leslie assured Eva that she was her top priority. Eva wondered if it was a better idea to tell Ted about her paternity in private. Leslie was upset that Ted abandoned her while she was pregnant. Eva didn’t think Ted would make things right if he gets humiliated. Leslie felt like Ted would pay to make the embarrassment go away. Eva didn’t think he would do it. Hayley tried to convince Naomi that her clients were looking for a pay out. Naomi didn’t like when women didn’t support each other. Hayley felt like she was going after Bill. She told her that she had a great life with Bill, but she missed her. Naomi was upset about what she did. She felt more betrayed by her than her father. Hayley betrayed her. Nicole continued to talk to Dani. Dani couldn’t stop thinking about Bill. Nicole wondered when Dani had a happy dream that didn’t involve Bill. Dani gave her the rundown about the things Bill promised her. Nicole told her that Bill used her and dumped her for a younger woman.

Leslie wore a disguise and introduced herself to Kat. She wanted to talk to her about her mother’s assistant. Eva thought about what Leslie said to her. She held a candlestick, and Ted walked in the room. He wanted to know what she was doing. Kat didn’t feel comfortable talking to Leslie about her mother’s personal assistant. Leslie wanted to be a peacemaker between Kat and Eva. Eva told Ted that she wanted to make things right in the office. Ted appreciated the work she’s doing with Nicole. She said that she gets along with everyone, but Kat. Ted tried to explain the way Kat treats her. Kat told Leslie that Eva didn’t have experience working with her mother. Leslie felt like she should try to understand how Eva grew up. Eva told Ted that she didn’t grow up the same way as Kat and that’s why she didn’t like her. Ted reminded her that she wasn’t familiar with the world. Eva thought he was on her side. He wanted to talk to Kat about Eva over dinner, but she didn’t want him to do that. Nicole wanted Dani to figure out what makes her happy in life. Dani wasn’t sure who she saw when she looked at her. She wanted her husband back. Bill has a hold on her. He was her first, last and only love. Hayley told Naomi that she didn’t betray her because she valued their friendship. She fell in love with Bill. Naomi felt like she didn’t have to act on her feelings for Bill. Hayley thought Naomi was being petty going through with the lawsuit to get back at Bill for falling for her. She warned Naomi that she wouldn’t win the case. Naomi told her that she would win because sexual harassment was a major thing. Hayley told her that they planned to sue her company. Ted showed up and saw Leslie talking to Kat. He hid so they wouldn’t see him. Leslie told Kat that she was trying to help her see the good in Eva, but she was too close minded. Kat appreciated what she did, but she warned her about her. Leslie walked out of the club. Ted saw her and questioned her about going after his daughter.

Chelsea told Dani that she didn’t want to be a model. Dani wondered why this was the first time she was hearing about it. Chelsea said she was afraid to tell her because of everything she has been through. She thought Dani would fall apart. Dani was upset but saw how serious Chelsea was about being a designer. She tore up Chelsea’s contract and realized she would be a hypocrite if she didn’t let her follow her dream. When Hayley went to get something to eat, she ran into Jacob. She congratulated him on his promotion. While they were talking, she asked him how they could get Bill and Naomi on good terms. Bill and Naomi talked about the lawsuit against his law firm. He let her know that she succeeded at getting his attention. Naomi let him know how serious she was about pursuing the lawsuit. Bill denied the claims her clients made, but Naomi wasn’t convinced. While they were talking, he accused her of doing this to pay him back for cheating on Dani. Naomi told him she would see him in court.

Later on, when Bill and Hayley were home, he told her about the lawsuit Naomi was pursuing. After they talked about it, Hayley decided to handle the situation. She ran into Naomi at the bar and asked her what she was doing. While Tomas and Kat were on a lunch date, they talked about what was going on between Bill and Naomi. Kat seemed excited about Bill and Naomi battling it out in court. While they were talking, Tomas brought up sex and told her she didn’t know what she was missing. He asked if she fantasized about him. Kat changed the subject. Martin and Smitty argued over Martin running for President. Smitty was upset that Martin didn’t tell him about running for President. Martin reminded him that he didn’t say anything about going back to journalism. Smitty wondered why Anita and Vernon were against him running. Martin dodged the question. Later on, when they went to the diner, the reporter that offered Smitty a job at Bill and Hayley’s wedding showed up. He talked about the job he had for Smitty that Martin turned down. Smitty was shocked to hear that Martin turned down the job for him.

Dani was at the country club when Vernon arrived. He told her about what’s going on with Bill and Hayley. Vernon let her know that she’s been a handful, but she was his handful. He was determined to be there for her if she needed him. Dani left to meet with Chelsea. She left her drink behind so Vernon drank some of it. He was surprised to find out that she was drinking so heavily. Dani was talking to the people planning the fashion show. They liked what she did at Bill and Hayley’s wedding. Her actions were perfect for her brand. Dani liked what she heard from the duo. Chelsea arrived at the meeting and made an announcement to Dani. She told her that she didn’t want to model anymore. Naomi was at Orphie Jean’s when the women suing Bill’s company arrived. They informed her that they didn’t need her services anymore. The women planned to sue Bill’s company but they didn’t want to put Naomi in the middle of the case. Naomi told the women that she knew how to bring her father down because she knew how he operated. She was willing to represent them if they wanted her to do it. The women wanted to be sure that she wouldn’t back out. Naomi talked to them about the defense she planned to use to go against her father. She wanted to prove that the company knew that Mike was harassing the women. Bill, Tomas and Mike were at the office. Mike made an inappropriate joke which bothered Bill and Tomas. He went a step too far when he said something about Hayley so he left the room. Naomi arrived at the office shocking Bill. She didn’t tell him about the lawsuit. Bill tried to smooth things over with her. He told her that he loved her. While they were talking, Bill found out about the lawsuit. He was shocked by her betrayal.

Martin was still dealing with his nightmares from the past. Smitty was worried about him. Martin dismissed Smitty’s concerns. He tried to downplay what he was dealing with by saying that he wasn’t getting much sleep. Smitty got the impression that he was running for a higher office. Martin didn’t say one way or the other if he was running for another position. Vernon let Anita know about Martin’s plans to run for president. She didn’t approve of the plan. Anita didn’t think he could survive the scandal. Vernon felt like Martin’s secret was bad enough to ruin his life. He didn’t think Martin’s family could be protected from the fallout of his secret. They would be destroyed with Martin. Vernon and Anita wanted Martin to meet them at the country club to talk him out of running for president. Martin arrived at the club and assured his grandparents that he could control how much information came out about him. Anita reminded him that Bill knew his secret. She told him that Bill couldn’t be trusted. Martin became heated and reminded them how they were the ones who got him interested in politics. They told him the family could still do good things without being at the White House. Martin’s anger grew while they were talking. Smitty was upset too because he overheard enough to find out that Martin was keeping something from him again.

Eva saw Tomas at the hospital and pretended to have an injury to get his attention. Tomas let her know that he and Kat were keeping things casual. When Eva kept asking him about his relationship with Kat, he wondered why she was interested. He asked if Kat said something to scare her aware. While they were talking, Kat called to invite him to lunch. When Tomas met with Kat she asked if he was afraid to be intimate with her because she’s a virgin. Tomas denied that was the reason why. He was affectionate with her. Later on, Kat met with Chelsea and talked to her about her lunch with Tomas. She told Chelsea she was saving herself for the man she loved, but Tomas was making her change her mind.

Doug and Vanessa ate at Orphie Jean’s. When Doug left, Joey showed up. Joey went to Vanessa’s table at Orphie Jean’s. He asked her to help him get a house for his aging mother. While they were talking, Doug came back and saw them together. Doug got a text about going to the casino. He left to go to the casino. After Joey was finished talking to Vanessa, he went to the casino. Doug won his game which upset Joey. Joey told Randy that Doug could win for now, but he was going to make sure he losses any future games. At the precinct, Jacob talked to Elon about Marcel being a crooked cop. He told Elon about seeing Joey and Marcel talking to each other. Elon suggested that he not worry about it and keep his nose clean. After Elon and Jacob were finished talking, he went to talk to Marcel. He warned Marcel not to put Jacob’s life in danger. When Marcel and Elon finished talking, he called Joey to warn him to be more careful about doing his business in broad daylight. Joey reminded him that he paid him to take care of things like that. Naomi wanted Anita’s advice on whether or not she should take the sexual harassment case against her father. Anita said the decision was up to her, but the Dupree women never back down from a challenge.

Andre showed up at Dani’s house and found her passed out. When she woke up, she told him that she doesn’t drink that much. Andre said she could have gotten hurt or worse. Dani didn’t want him to tell anyone what he saw. He agreed not to say anything because the family would want to stage an intervention, and he would have to explain why he was there. When he finished helping her, he wanted to leave. She stopped him from leaving because she wasn’t ready to let him go, but she was ready to stop drinking. After Andre was finished with Dani, he went to see Nicole. He told her he was putting his feelings for Ashley behind him. Nicole was glad to find out that he was moving on from Ashley. While Derek was fixing Ashley something to eat, she flashed back to Andre trying to kiss her. When Derek had to leave for work, Ashley looked at the collage Andre gave her. Jan came over to see Ashley. Ashley showed her the collage Andre took. Ashley asked if she wanted it. Jan wondered why she was giving it away. Ashley told her that Andre tried to kiss her.

Hayley talked to Bill about the way people are treating her. She thought he was trying to minimize her feelings and suggested they call off their marriage. Bill told her to forget about the Duprees. Hayley said it wasn’t easy and accused him of enjoying it as much as Dani enjoyed torturing her. Bill surprised her with a romantic evening. Eva wanted to watch television, but Leslie wanted to focus on bringing down the Richardsons now that she had access to their house. She told Leslie about the argument she had with Kat over Tomas. Leslie advised her to stay away from him. They ended up arguing over it. Leslie told her to leave Kat alone and told her about the new plan. She told Eva to plan an even around Ted so they could expose him. Leslie thought Ted and Nicole’s anniversary was the perfect opportunity.

Dani was excited that she secured a gown from the Smithsonian collection for Chelsea’s fashion show. The victory made Dani feel like herself again. Chelsea didn’t share the same enthusiasm because she was thinking of how to tell her mother that she didn’t want to be a model anymore. Later Chelsea was at the club having breakfast with Kat and Tomas. Things took an awkward turn when Eva arrived at the club. Kat wasn’t happy to see her. She was upset that her mother let Eva wear one of her outfits. Kat didn’t want to eat with her and considered her an enemy. She was so upset about Eva being at the club that she wanted to end her breakfast with Tomas. They didn’t show affection towards each other because they didn’t want the Dupree family to judge their relationship. Eva started flirting with Tomas on her way out. Kat wasn’t happy about that. After Tomas left, Kat confronted Eva. Eva tried to downplay what she did. She thought Kat should talk to a therapist about why she felt threatened by her. Jacob and Marcel were on a stakeout. Marcel gave Jacob a hard time. Things picked up for them when they spotted Joey going into a sketchy building.

Naomi met with three potential clients. They used to work at Bill’s company. The clients were harassed by one of Bill’s partners named Mike. They wanted Naomi to sue her father’s company after seeing her mother take a stand against him. Naomi was the perfect choice since she didn’t get along with her father. Mike talked to Bill to get the details about Tomas’ relationship with Kat. He talked to Bill about Hayley being hot. Hayley went to the country club, but she wasn’t welcomed. The staff ignored her while she was there. She got so upset about getting ignored that she stormed off. Hayley ran into Dani on her way out. They had a brief exchange before Hayley left the club. Later Hayley talked to Bill about the way she was treated at the club. She felt like Dani should have been treated badly since she was the one shooting up the place. Bill promised her that she would be treated better by the community. He planned to bring Fairmont Crest to its knees. The community rejecting her is making her rethink their marriage. Hayley thought they should end their marriage. Dani was in her kitchen and drowned her sorrows in alcohol. She was on the floor laughing and crying.

Ashley ripped into Andre for trying to kiss her. She reminded him that she had a boyfriend. Nicole asked Eva to help her find “Sherry.” Dani woke up in Bill and Hayley’s house after finishing the champagne. She realized what she did and called someone to help her. Andre apologized for trying to kiss Ashley. She said she was out of line but it couldn’t happen again. Andre left the hospital. Derek showed up to tell her that he wasn’t a patient anymore. Ashley said he couldn’t leave his room without assistance. He pulled her into his lap and kissed her. Nicole said she met “Sherry” a few days ago. Eva asked if she was the person she talked off the roof, but Nicole couldn’t tell her. While Nicole was talking to Eva about “Sherry,” Ted was listening. Dani called Pam to come to Bill and Hayley’s house. Pam wanted to know why she was there and why she needed her help. Dani reminded her what Bill did to her. She told Pam she was afraid of feeling Anita’s wrath, so she needed her help. Dani wanted to get the place cleaned up before Bill and Hayley came back. Pam pulled out a bottle of champagne so Dani could switch. She also had a picture frame to replace the one Dani broke. Pam thought Dani’s tracks would be covered since she disconnected the security cameras. She wanted to hurry up and get the place cleaned, but Dani thought they had more time since Bill and Hayley were on their honeymoon.

Ted asked Nicole why she was getting in touch with the server from the gala. Nicole said the server was fired. Andre showed up with the proofs from the gala. When there was an awkward silence, Andre wondered if he was interrupting things. They said he wasn’t. Eva offered to do Nicole’s schedule, but she wanted her to go home. She told Nicole she wanted to wait for the banquet manager to tell her about “Sherry.” When Ted and Eva left, Nicole wanted to know the real reason Andre was there. Ashley tried to take care of Derek, but he said he didn’t need help. Bill and Hayley came home. He noticed the alarm wasn’t set. Dani thanked Pam for helping her. Pam said she wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Dani said Bill and Hayley were thousands of miles away. Pam asked her to leave her name out if Bill and Hayley found out about it. Hayley reacted to seeing the picture frame. She said it was in a different spot and looked different. After Bill convinced her that nothing was going on, he wanted to pour them something to drink. When he held the bottle, Hayley noticed the inscription was gone. They realized that Dani snuck in their house. Bill offered to take care of Dani, but Hayley said she would do it. Nicole wanted Andre to tell her the truth about why he showed up at the house. Andre told her that he almost kissed her. He said Ashley knew he wanted to kiss her and was angry at him. Nicole asked if he wanted her to give him permission to kiss Ashley because she wasn’t doing it. She reminded him that Ashley was in love with Derek. Andre understood that but didn’t know where his feelings came from. He wondered if it was because she’s with someone else. Nicole said he needed someone to tell him to stay away from Ashley. Ted told Nicole that she needed to let go finding the server. While he was talking to her, Eva was listening. Nicole said there wasn’t a coincidence that “Sherry” was there to which Ted told her was why she needed to stay away from her. Hayley went to see Dani to let her know that she and Bill were home. She said she wanted to tell her personally so she wouldn’t find out on the street. Dani asked if that was the only reason why she was there. Hayley noticed a picture of her and dropped it. She told Dani that she knew she was in her house and violated it. Hayley called her out for being obsessed with her life with Bill. She warned Dani to stay away because it was bringing her to her breaking point. If she pushed Hayley to it, she said she would get a restraining order against her. She said she would press charges against Dani if she violated it. After Hayley warned Dani about trying her, she left. Nicole asked Ted why he was telling her what to do. Ted said “Sherry” wanted more from her and warned her that she was fixated on her. He told her not to treat “Sherry.” Nicole agreed but thought “Sherry” needed help. Ted said she wasn’t the one who should help her. Eva continued to listen to them. After Ted and Nicole were finished talking, Ted told Eva that she didn’t have to look for the woman at the gala. When Hayley came home, she let Bill know that Dani wouldn’t be a problem anymore. She told Bill that she stood up for herself and for them. Bill decided it was time to forget about Dani and getting revenge on her.

Kat apologized to Nicole for not making it to her gala. Nicole understood and thanked her for the letter she wrote. The words Kat wrote melted Nicole’s heart. Kat wondered why Nicole hadn’t gone to  eat at the Dupree mansion. Nicole wondered if she was trying to get rid of her since there were two place settings at the table. They embraced, and Nicole left the house. Tomas arrived at the house with a bottle of wine. Kat asked him what it was like working for Bill. He told her the good and bad things about working with Bill. He knew Kat hated Bill, but he approved of them dating. They flirt with each other. Nicole ran into Andre at the hospital. She noticed that he was staring at some photos. Andre showed her the pictures. She wanted him to coordinate with Eva. He praised her a lot so Nicole hoped that she wasn’t going to end up with a broken heart. Dani couldn’t stay for dinner because she had business to take care of. Nicole arrived and wondered what business Dani was taking care of. Nicole tried to get the truth from her so she told her. Dani wanted to seal the deal for a new designer to work with Chelsea. After she told Nicole what she was doing, she left the mansion. Nicole was worried about Dani since she stalked Billy and Hayley’s social media page. Anita understood, and Vernon thought Dani still had feelings for Bill. They wondered what could happen with Bill and Hayley miles away. Nicole received a call from the hospital.

Dani went to Bill and Hayley’s place. She was approached by a security guard named George. He felt uncomfortable talking to her about the wedding. She realized he heard about her pulling out a gun at Bill and Hayley’s wedding. She assured him that nothing like that would happen while she was there. Dani joked that she had a bomb instead of a gun. She wanted to have a fresh start. Dani wanted the code so she could give Bill and Hayley the gifts she bought. George let her know that he could lose his job if he gave her the code. She would never let anything happen to him because he was practically family. He changed his mind and gave her the code. Dani walked into the mansion and spotted the camera. She inserted the password into the keypad and took her gift and put the gift in another room. Bill and Hayley were in the limo and he apologized for them being home early. She understood because they were ready to start their lives. They started making out in the limo. Dani continued looking around Bill and Hayley’s house. She put a bottle of wine on their picture. Bill and Hayley finished making love and were on their way home. Dani was happy that she broke Bill and Hayley’s wedding photo. She kept drinking and slid down on their couch. Dani dropped the bottle and fell asleep.

Dani looked through Bill and Hayley’s honeymoon photos. She wasn’t happy about it, but she was determined not to ruin Nicole’s big night. Leslie planned to ruin Nicole’s night. She got a job catering at the gala. Leslie wanted to expose Ted and Nicole in front of the community. Eva saw Martin at Nicole’s office. She shocked him by how much she knew about his political career. Ted and Nicole arrived and invited her to the gala. Vernon received a call from someone. Naomi walked in Dani’s room and found her screaming and throwing her tablet against the wall. She thought her mother enjoyed pain. Anita agreed with her as she and Vernon walked into the room. Leslie was happy with how she worked her way into the gala. Eva wasn’t happy about Leslie’s plan. She went back on her word about not revealing herself to Ted and Nicole. Leslie convinced Eva that it was a coincidence that she ended up working at the gala. Andre saw Dani in her dress and flirted with her. He wanted to take her out of her dress.

Martin took pictures with his family. After the photo op, someone approached Martin about a job for Smitty. Martin turned down the offer. Vernon approached Martin to confront him about running for president. He told Martin not to run for president because of his secret. Vernon was certain that his secret would come out if he decided to run for office. The family couldn’t survive that type of scandal. Martin wasn’t worried because he secret was buried. Ted got an unpleasant surprise when he saw Leslie working at the bar. She let him know that the job paid well. Ted threatened to destroy her, but she wasn’t worried about him. She survived everything in the past. Dani introduced her father at the gala. Leslie was about to approach Nicole, but Eva spotted her. She told her mother that she had to leave. Leslie refused to go because she had to serve the drinks. She returned to the gala. Leslie was approached by her boss because someone tipped him off (Eva) that she was being unprofessional towards the guests. He threw her out of the event.

At the hospital, Andre took pictures of Ashley from afar. When Ashley noticed him, he gave her a collage of pictures to remember the baby she delivered. Ashley didn’t realize he took the pictures. While they were talking, Derek is brought in on a stretcher. He got a concussion from a ceiling falling on him in a burning building. Derek assured Ashley that he was going to be okay. When Bradley came home, Martin was upset that he was still trying to get freelance reporting jobs. Bradley reminded him that the kids were practically old enough to take care of themselves. While they were talking, Samantha and Tyrell walked in and asked why they were fighting. When Martin tells them Bradley wanted to go back to work, Samantha said it wasn’t a serious enough reason to fight. She asked why Martin was upset about it. Tyrell told Martin that he worried about things that weren’t important. Since they double teamed him, Martin gave in and said Bradley could take an assignment to see how it would go. Later on, when Martin didn’t go to bed, Bradley wondered if he was trying to tire himself out so he wouldn’t dream. Martin said he was trying to get some work done. When Martin finally went to sleep, he woke up screaming.

At the diner, Randy asked Joey not to hurt Doug or do worse to him. Joey didn’t care what happened to Doug. He said the only thing that mattered was what he could get him. Joey advised Randy not to care about what happened to Doug. Randy took Doug to the casino later on. Joey gave Doug more money to gamble with and was sure Doug would pay him back soon. Doug said his luck was about to change. Vanessa was at the country club flirting with a trainer. Diego was jealous watching her flirt with another guy and let her know that he wanted more than just a physical relationship with her. Eva helped Nicole with her speech for the gala. When she went home, Leslie was thinking about her plan to ruin Ted and Nicole. She told Eva that the gala was the perfect opportunity to expose Ted and Nicole. Leslie couldn’t wait to see their faces when it happened. Eva said what Ted did wasn’t Nicole’s fault. She said there was no reason to ruin things for Nicole. Leslie was concerned that Eva wasn’t interested in getting revenge on Nicole. Eva said she was still interested and proved it by giving her Ted’s straw so they could get a paternity test. The results wouldn’t be ready until after the gala, but Leslie agreed to wait until then. When Eva went to bed, Leslie called someone and said she needed a favor.

Bill planned to get ahead of the Duprees because he knew they were using Nicole’s interview to do damage control. Hayley didn’t like how he wouldn’t let it go. He assured her that he was flipping the script on the Duprees for her. Bill wanted to get to them first. Jacob tried to make peace with Naomi, but she wasn’t ready to do it. She couldn’t believe that he worked with her father after everything he did to her. Jacob told her that he was just doing his job. Naomi didn’t recognize the man that she married. Caroline and Tomas were worried that Bill being married to Hayley could cost them everything. Hayley tried to get Bill to drop the war with the Duprees. He told her that they weren’t going to get away with coming after them. She wanted him to promise her that it would end after his plan. The Duprees gathered at the family home to prepare for Nicole’s interview. Dani promised Nicole that she wouldn’t steal her thunder. Jacob didn’t understand why Naomi was treating him like the villain. He didn’t get why she overlooked her mother’s actions. She felt like her mother was justified to go after Bill. Naomi felt like he didn’t know where his loyalties lied. She had to leave. Ted talked to Eva about her past. Eva gave him a version of what her life was like. He explained what happened with Andre. Ted told her that Martin relied on Vernon while Kat was a daddy’s girl. Eva realized that a lot of people depended on him. Ted offered to be there for her if she needed anything. Bill had a press conference to talk about what happened with Dani. He talked to the reporters about what Dani did to him and Hayley. The reporters rushed to ask him questions. Nicole, Anita, and Vernon were getting interviewed. Dani came up during the interview, and Anita shut down her questions. The reporter let them know that Bill had a press conference and said that Dani’s mental state was declining. Dani appeared with her family and told her side of it. Bill told the reporters his side of the story. He felt like he and Hayley weren’t safe with Dani around. Dani talked about how she felt towards Bill and Hayley.

Naomi was proud of the way Dani handled herself during the interview. Dani wanted to apologize for what happened at the wedding. She wondered if Naomi made up with Jacob. Naomi didn’t like how he arrested her. Dani warned her not to let a good man get away. She apologized to Anita for interrupting Nicole’s interview. Anita and Vernon understood why she did it, and they were proud of her. Nicole asked Ted if he caught her interview on TV. He saw it. They talked about Bill’s reaction to Dani’s interview. Ted hoped that Naomi and Jacob worked things out. Nicole was happy to be with him. Ted thought about his conversation with Leslie. Eva met with Leslie to talk about the Richardsons. She told him that she had a conversation with Ted about never meeting her biological father. Leslie warned her not to tell Ted too much. Jacob had a flashback of a conversation with Naomi. She wondered when he knew that Bill was with Hayley. Jacob felt like he was similar to Bill. He was determined not to ruin their relationship. They agreed to keep things from each other when their jobs require it. Naomi came home and found Jacob packing his bags. He told her that he was staying in a hotel. She didn’t want him to go. Leslie wanted to know what Eva was thinking by talking to Ted. She said that she didn’t tell him too much. Eva called Leslie out for convincing Nicole that she was suicidal. Naomi realized that Jacob was just doing his job, and they made up. Bill and Dani watched each other on their tablet and phone respectively.

The Duprees wanted to know why Jacob was arresting Dani. Jacob said Bill wanted her arrested. Dani wanted to know how Bill had a say on her getting charged. Jacob said victims could press charges. He said Bill presented it to the State Attorney’s office and they thought it was enough evidence to arrested her. Naomi tried to convince him not to arrest her mother. Leslie told Nicole that she would jump if she came closer to her. Nicole didn’t think she would since she wanted to see her. She told Leslie that she wanted to help her. Leslie said she knew who Nicole was and thought she was the best. She asked Nicole to help her. Doug went to the casino after his debt was paid. He talked to Randy about his boss. Randy tried to warn Doug not to gamble anymore. Ashley told Derek that Dani was getting arrested. Hayley was listening while they were talking and walked out of the bar. Dani tried to get Jacob not to arrest her, but Jacob said he didn’t have a choice. Vernon talked Dani into letting Jacob arrest her. Naomi told him she would be representing her mother. She told Jacob that she would never forgive him for helping her father. Jacob took Dani to the police station. The Duprees showed up at the station to watch what he was doing to her. Nicole wanted Leslie to come away from the ledge. She asked Leslie what her name was. Leslie said her name was Sherrie. Nicole asked what upset her enough to come up there. Leslie said Nicole’s shoes cost more than she made. Nicole said she asked for her help so she would help her free of charge. Leslie said her husband left her and she felt alone. She said she couldn’t take it and was going to jump. Nicole tried to stop her from jumping. Ted told Shanice that he was going on the roof because he wasn’t going to let Nicole be up there by herself.

Ashley told Derek that she hated what was going on between Naomi and Jacob. Derek convinced her that things would be okay between Naomi and Jacob. Nicole told Leslie that she didn’t think she was ready to give up. Leslie was upset that she thought she wasn’t ready. Nicole said different things brought her there but talking about it would be a comfort. Leslie said she would like that. Nicole wanted to talk in her office. Doug told Randy that he couldn’t put the cards down because he still owed Joey. He said he couldn’t risk making a mistake. Randy warned him not to make the mistake with Joey’s money. Doug said he wouldn’t make the mistake. Ted saw Nicole with Leslie. Leslie winked at Ted before she walked away. Bradley warned the Duprees that a reporter was at the police station. Bill showed up at the police station. He wondered where Dani was. Naomi and Chelsea wondered how he could do that to their mother. Bill said he wasn’t trying to hurt them. He tried to taunt Martin about Dani. Leslie told Nicole that she was depressed when her husband left her. She said he moved on with his new wife. Nicole told her the pain she was feeling was temporary. Leslie said she wanted him to see how he hurt her. She said she wanted to get revenge on him. Sitting there with her made her realize that she wanted to see the look on his face after everything he did to her. When Martin got in Bill’s face, Bradley took him away. Bill was willing to press charges against Martin too. Vernon told Bill that he would get Bill off to which Bill didn’t think he would be able to do. Bill said the video went viral so there were plenty of witnesses. Chelsea asked Bill how he could do that to her mother when it was her fault. Bill said the video helped the case. When Vernon ripped into Bill for using his daughter, Hayley showed up. She was upset with Bill for having Dani arrested. Hayley thought he was holding on to Dani to which Bill denied. She wanted him to prove it by making the charges disappear. Nicole told Leslie that she needed to deal with her problems and wanted to keep seeing her. Leslie said she didn’t think it was a good idea to keep seeing her because it would remind her of a low time in her life. Nicole gave her a list of people she could see. When Leslie left, she ran into Ted. He wanted to know what she was doing there. Doug told Randy he knew what he was doing. Jacob told Dani the charges were dropped. Dani refused to thank Bill. Bill told her to thank Hayley. Dani reminded Hayley that she was in this position because of what she did to her. When everyone left, Jacob asked Naomi if he was forgiven. Naomi said he could have given her a heads up so they could have dealt with it together. She told him she was upset with him and walked away from him. At the Dupree house, Dani told Naomi that she hoped she didn’t cause problems between her and Jacob. Naomi said she didn’t cause problems. She was upset that Jacob backed her father instead of the family. Ted warned Leslie not to go after his wife. Leslie said it was payback for him leaving her for Nicole. Ted said they had an affair years ago and that was it. He wanted to know what it was going to take to get her to leave. Lesile wondered if Nicole would be bound by the oath if she admitted to their affair. Ted warned her again to stay away from his wife. He asked what she told Leslie. Nicole said she couldn’t tell him. She said she may into her again. Leslie called Eva and told her that she saw Nicole and Ted. She said she gave her best performance. Eva didn’t approve of what she did. Leslie said she needed to see Nicole and that Ted made empty threats. She said she couldn’t wait until Ted found out the truth. Eva told her she would have her revenge when the time was right. When Naomi went home, she confronted Jacob about helping her father. Bill told Hayley that what he did was for her. Hayley said he had to stop going after Dani and the Duprees or she would go on the honeymoon alone. Dani told Chelsea that Bill was her father and wanted her to base her relationship with him on how he treats her. When Chelsea walked away, Dani talked to Anita about Bill dropping the charges. Dani wondered why Bill did it instead of letting her stay in jail. Anita said it wasn’t Bill. She said it was Hayley. Dani said she loved Bill despite what he did. She said she would take him back in a heartbeat.

Kat called Eva in her mother’s office again. She put her on notice that she wouldn’t fool her a second time. Eva felt like Kat was treating her badly. Kat wanted to know why she was looking at her files. She let Kat know that she wasn’t supposed to see them. Kat called her out for saying that. If she couldn’t see them as her daughter, Eva had no business looking at them either. Kat wanted to call her mother to find out if it was okay for her to look at her computer. She didn’t get through to her mother so she was about to leave. Eva let her know that she didn’t go after the job. Kat still planned to talk to her mother about Eva. Leslie saw Ted and Nicole flirting with each other at the hospital. She hid in the background so he wouldn’t see her. Kat ran into Nicole and wanted to tell her about Kat. Doug met with Joe in his car. He thought he made a mistake meeting with him. Joe wondered if he got into the right car or should get in someone else’s car. Kat let Nicole know that Eva was looking at her computer. Nicole wasn’t sure she could believe it because she was a good worker. Kat said Eva’s vie was wrong. Nicole didn’t want to let her go because she had bad vibes about Eva. Doug talked to Joe about how he and Randy knew each other. Joe showed him the debt he owed the casino. Doug wondered how he knew how much he owed. He always knows about the people who gamble at his casino.

Kat told Chelsea about what happened with Eva and her mother. Chelsea thought she should leave Eva alone because she is temporary. Kat felt like she wasn’t temporary. It felt like she was up to something. Chelsea thought she should stop worrying about Eva, but Kat wasn’t going to let it go. Eva was about to leave Nicole’s office when Ted arrived. She was about to leave, but Ted wanted to talk to her. He thought Nicole could do better with her career. Ted thought she was a blessing to Nicole. Eva wanted to leave, but he asked her to stay. He knew what was going on. Ted wanted to apologize to Eva for the way Kat talked to her. She seemed okay with it. He explained why Kat felt entitled. Ted told her that she could talk to him if she was treated like that again. Nicole walked in while Ted was talking to her. She wanted Eva to do what she’s been doing. After they talked to her, Eva left. She ran into Leslie at the hospital. They talked about blowing up Ted and Nicole’s lives. Dani gathered her family together to announce that she finally accepted that her marriage was over. Everyone was silent so she wondered why they weren’t happy about it. Dani knew she said that she was finished with Bill before, but it’s true now. She told Hayley that Bill didn’t matter to her anymore. Dani felt free. Anita knew she couldn’t completely forget about Bill. Everyone started celebrating that Dani was able to move on from Bill. Joe gave Doug money to take care of his debts. Doug thanked him for saving his life. After Doug left the car, Randy talked to Joe. He said that Doug had a bad poker face. Doug was going to spend the money. Joe wanted Doug in his debt. He wanted Doug to dig himself deep. Jacob showed up at the Dupree house. the family thought he was there to celebrate Dani moving on with her life. He was there to arrest Dani for attempted murder.

Hayley wanted to have a party, but no one would show up because of the Duprees. Bill agreed with her. He couldn’t believe that she was able to fire a gun at their wedding and get away with it. Martin was upset with Bradley because he overheard him talking to Nicole about going back to reporting. He didn’t understand why he didn’t talk to him. Martin walked away before Bradley answered him. Eva overheard Kat and Ted talking in the office. She interrupted them so Ted introduced them. Eva said they were old friends. Andre enjoyed being with Dani, but she didn’t want it to happen again. He agreed with her that it wouldn’t happen again. She was officially finished with Bill and Hayley. It’s time for her to move on with her life. Dani wanted him to leave because Naomi was coming over. Andre walked out of the house just as Chelsea came in. She wanted to know what happened. Ted wondered how Eva was making out working with Nicole. Eva enjoyed it very much. Kat grilled Eva about what she did before Nicole hired her. Ted couldn’t believe that Kat talked to her like that. Nicole overheard Kat giving Eva the third degree. Eva covered herself by saying that she did side jobs to help her surrogate mother pay the bills. Kat let Nicole know that she couldn’t go to her award ceremony because she had a business thing to do. She walked out of the office. Chelsea talked with Dani about what happened at Bill and Hayley’s wedding. Dani was determined to move on with her life and focus on what they were building together. Martin let Bradley know that he didn’t like the idea of him going back to work. Bradley let him know that he wasn’t going to put his life on hold because he’s not a Dupree.

Naomi visited Jacob at the station. She noticed something was wrong with him and wanted to know what happened. He let her know that he was upset that he didn’t do anything to stop Dani from firing her gun at Bill and Hayley’s wedding. Jacob felt like a bad cop. Dani showed up at Hayley’s house. Naomi was happy that the drama with her parents was finally over. Hayley wondered why Dani was at her house. She warned Dani that Bill was upstairs if she tried anything. Dani wanted to talk to her if she wanted to move on with her life. She called Hayley out for going behind her back and sleeping with Bill. Dani couldn’t believe how easy it was for Hayley to lie to her without letting on that she did it. She hated what she did to Naomi even more than what she did to her. Martin told Bradley that he needed him to be a stay-at-home dad for his brand. Bradley felt like they could both work and they would be fine. He didn’t agree with Bradley. Bradley didn’t want to do that anymore. Eva snuck into the office and saw the tribute video on the computer. She uploaded it. Kat walked in the room and saw her at the computer. Kate felt like it was starting to be a habit. Andre went back to Dani’s place, and they began to make love in the kitchen. Bill flashed back to Dani shooting at him and Hayley at the wedding. He called someone and told them he needed to see them right away.

At Nicole’s office, Eva looked through Nicole’s desk. Kat walked in and asked who she was. Eva said she was a friend of Mona’s. Kat told her she only got the job because of who she knew and not for her style. While they were talking, Kat continued to be rude to Eva. She let Eva know that she didn’t run her schedule and didn’t want her to worry about what she was going. Kat said her father was handling Laura’s care so she would be back soon. She warned Eva not to get too comfortable. When Eva wanted to start over, Kat wasn’t interested because her assignment wasn’t going to be long. She said it might be shorter than Eva thought. Jan, Leslie, and Mona talked about Laura’s situation. Mona said with the security footage near the area, the police should find out what happened soon. Jacob told Ted that the security footage wasn’t useful, so they hit a dead end. Eva was listening to them. Later on, Jacob met with his father Elon and talked about Laura’s case and how the security footage didn’t prove anything. While they were talking, Jacob said he felt like a failure of a police officer because he didn’t act sooner when Dani pulled the gun at the wedding. Elon tried to make him feel better about what he did. He wanted Jacob to let it go.

Eva ran into Ted and was upset about it. She thought that he acted like he was God’s gift to women. Eva told Leslie about seeing him and how she was tempted to expose him. Leslie wanted her to be patient because the time would come. It occurred to Eva that Leslie had a history of riding motorcycles and asked if she was responsible for what happened to Laura. Leslie was appalled that she would ask her that. She asked if Eva was getting cold feet. Eva said she wanted to do it and thought Ted would be getting what he had coming to him. At the club, Vanessa met with her husband Doug. He apologized to her for neglecting her. She suggested that he stop working so much and realized that she was lucky to have him. While they were talking, Diego interrupted them to ask her about one of her listings. He said his cousin wanted him to check out the place before he comes to town. While Diego and Vanessa were talking, Doug was thinking about gambling. One of his poker chips fell on the table. He was at a casino and was told he couldn’t borrow any more money until his tab is paid off. Doug called Randy who suggested that he talk to Vanessa about his problem. He said Vanessa’s family was rich, but Doug said he had too much pride to ask them for the money. Kat talked to Nicole about Eva. She told Nicole that they could have another Hayley on their hands. Since Nicole didn’t know that for a fact, she wanted Kat to be respectful. Kat said Eva was suspicious and would regret letting her in their lives. Later on, Nicole talked to Bradley. He opened up about feeling lost now that the kids were more independent. When Nicole suggested he join Martin’s political team, he said he was trying to be a reporter again. He said he didn’t tell Martin yet. Martin was listening to the conversation. He came over and said he was thinking about running for president.
