Paulina showed Chanel the file that Sloane gave her. Chanel was shocked that something she did in college would hurt her mother’s campaign. Paulina assured her that it wouldn’t hurt her career. Paulina told her that she had everything under control. Sloane wanted to know what made her think it was under control. Sloane introduced herself to Chanel. She wanted to know if Paulina made a decision about the offer. Paulina refused to be blackmailed. They threatened each other. Paulina threw Sloane out of her place. Paulina told Chanel that she planned to drop out of the race. Chanel didn’t want her to do that. Chanel wanted to pay the blackmailer, but her mother said the person would never stop coming after her. Paulina planned on going after Sloane through Stephanie and Chad. Alex confronted Stephanie about being with Chad. He wanted to know why it was sexual harassment when he wanted to be with her, but it wasn’t for her to be with someone she just hired. Chad told her that what they did was consensual. Alex was convinced they slept together. He hoped she would have changed her mind about how she felt about him, but he realized he was wrong. He realized she would never be into him. Stephanie watched him leave.

Stefan remembered admitting to Gabi about how he felt about her. He went off on her for going after his job. He said he wanted the job back. Li told him that he was crazy if he thought EJ would let him run the company. Stefan told him they would run the company together. He said their first order of business is to clean house at the company. EJ said traitors had to go. He said that Li needed to go. EJ left to file the proxy. Stefan told Gabi to clean out her desk. Li told her not to do anything until he finished talking to EJ. Li went after EJ so Gabi used that opportunity to get Stefan to talk about his memory of her. She knew he still loved her. She put her hand on his heart. She knew he still felt something. Li threatened EJ about trying to get him out of the company. He warned him that he would make Stefan turn on him immediately. He admitted that he was the one who got Rolf to bring Stefan back and turned him against Gabi. EJ reminded him that he could lose Gabi if he said anything about that. Li told him that his goal was to get DiMera. He said he was prepared to cut her loose. EJ didn’t believe him. EJ went back to meet with Stefan. He told him that the proxies were in order and they just had to wait for the vote. Gabi wanted to know if EJ and Li came to an understanding. He said they did. When they were alone he told her that EJ still had the votes. Li said he wouldn’t be fired, but his father wouldn’t help him. She didn’t know how she would get through that without his love for her. He stroked her hair. EJ and Stefan wanted to celebrate their victory. EJ told him that he will take over DiMera now that Gabi is out. He explained how the positions will go down at DiMera.

Sloan told Paulina that her client knew what Chanel did in college. Sloan gave Paulina a folder. Paulina read what was in the folder. She wanted to know what Sloan wanted. Sloan said she wanted to make financial arrangements between her client and Paulina. She said if Paulina didn’t give the money, Chanel would end up in prison. Sloan told her to look at the file and get back to her. Alex showed up to meet with Allie and Chanel. They told him that they wanted to have a threesome with him. Allie talked about the threesome, but she couldn’t say the name. Chanel thought Allie might not be ready if she couldn’t say the word. He was shocked that they wanted to have it since they turned him down when he first suggested it. He wanted to know what changed their minds. Allie said it was her idea because they were going through a rough patch. Chanel said it was an adventure they could share. They wanted it to be with him because he didn’t want anything. Chanel said he was single. Chanel asked if something was going on with Stephanie. He said he saw her with Chad. He said he was willing to do it. They went to have sex. Chad and Stephanie kissed each other at Julie’s. She pulled away from the kiss. She asked if it was too soon after Abby. He wanted to leave. She suggested they go to her place. They went to Steve and Kayla’s place. They started kissing until he stopped them. He said he couldn’t do it. He said he was still grieving his wife. She said she was worried about her mother. He decided to leave.

EJ told Johnny and Ava that he could prove that Jake’s signature on the marriage certificate was forged. He said he could prove that Jake was dead before the paperwork for their marriage was even filed. Johnny asked if it was true. He asked if she was married to Jake. She admitted that she wasn’t. She said she loved Jake. She said they were engaged. She told them it was Gabi’s idea. Ava said it was Gabi’s idea. EJ thought Ava knew the truth would eventually come out. She said he was right and apologized for lying to Johnny. Johnny said he didn’t care. He said he could see how much she loved Jake. He said she didn’t lie about anything else. EJ wanted to call the police, but Johnny told him not to. EJ said he wouldn’t call the police, but she had to leave town. He told her her bags were in the foyer. EJ told them to say goodbye to each other. Ava said it was okay that she was leaving. She said there was nothing left for her there. She said there was almost nothing. She apologized for them not knowing what could have been. He said he wanted to go with her. She said it would be better for them to part ways. She said they would have good memories. She took her bags and left. When EJ came back, Johnny said he would make him pay.

She wanted to drink some champagne when Tripp called her. He wanted to know about Kayla. She avoided tell him everything. She let Chad know that she wished she could tell her brothers how Kayla really was. She said she couldn’t lose her mother. He understood what she was going through since he thought of Kate as a mother. She knew he was still grieving over Abby. Alex walked in and saw them together. He walked out of the room. Chad thanked her for giving him a job. He told her that he saw Abby at her grave and she told him to move on with his life. He thought Abby was telling him to move on with his life. He leaned over and kissed her.

Gwen picked on Jennifer for hitting her and leaving her for dead. Jennifer apologized to her. Jennifer said she remembered doing it an hour ago. She told Gwen that she was high. She also said she was thinking about Abby. Gwen said she was there to save herself and not because she was sorry. Jennifer said that wasn’t true. She said she was there to get help. Gwen said she heard that story before from her mother. She said she knew addicts lie. Jennifer said she was right. She said she would do the right thing and turn herself in. Gwen said she didn’t think she would get clean in prison. She told Jennifer not to do it. She said she knew how much Jennifer was suffering because of Laura and Abby’s deaths. She said she wasn’t surprised Jennifer tried to numb the pain. Gwen said she cared about her. Gwen said she wished someone had told her mother they cared about her. Gwen said she was too needy to do it then, but she could do it now. She said she would tell the police Jennifer didn’t hit her. Jennifer asked why she would cover up for her. Gwen said she wanted to make sure she did what her mother didn’t do. She said she couldn’t take Jennifer away from Jack after what happened to Abby. She said it would destroy him. Leo told Jack that Gwen got her memory back. Leo said Gwen knew Jennifer was the driver. He said if Jack wanted it to go away, he had to write a check. Jack asked if Gwen knew he was there. Leo said she didn’t, but they talked about it. He said he wanted a million dollars. He said he would go to the police. Jack said he would wire him the money.

Jack went to Gwen’s room at the hospital. He told Jennifer and Gwen that Leo was blackmailing him. Jennifer told him what she did to Gwen. Gwen said she wouldn’t say anything. Jack said Leo could still go to the police. Gwen told him not to give Leo anything. Jack asked why she was doing this. Jennifer said she was his daughter and loved him. When Jack went home, he saw Leo. Leo asked if he had the money. Jack said his plan backfired. He told Leo to get out. Leo left. Jennifer came home and apologized to Jack for lying about the pills and for almost killing his daughter. She asked if he could forgive her. He apologized for not seeing how much she was suffering. She wanted to know what she should do. He said whatever it was she wouldn’t be doing it alone. Chad helped Stephanie with her press release. She said it was hard to concentrate since Kayla has been sick. Paulina showed up and said she was owed an apology. She said the election was one month away and her numbers were down. She wanted Stephanie to get things done by the end of business. Stephanie said she wouldn’t be able to do it. Chad told Paulina that Stephanie’s mother was in the hospital. He told her to give Stephanie a break. Paulina asked why Stephanie didn’t delegate her responsibilities. Stephanie apologized and told her she would get the job done. Paulina said she could let Chad help her. Chad told her who Chad was. Paulina offered her condolences. When Paulina left, Chad and Stephanie talked about her hiring more people. He offered to work for her.

EJ told Stefan that he asked Johnny and Ava to move back in the mansion. He needed them close so they could get the votes to kick Gabi out of DiMera Enterprises. EJ noticed how sexy Gabi is. Stefan admitted that shew as beautiful, but he was repulsed by her. EJ wondered why he was still wearing his wedding ring if he’s repulsed by her. Stefan didn’t know why he was wearing it. He had it on when he was brought back to life. EJ told him that he and Gabi were in love when he “died.” Stefan said his opinion was the only one that matter and he didn’t want to be with her. EJ said that he should take it off. Ava went to see Gabi and told her about EJ wanting her to move back in the mansion. Gabi told her that she shouldn’t trust him. Gabi told her not to move back in the mansion. Ava told her that EJ wanted Johnny back too. Gabi changed her tune and said she should go back to the mansion after all.

Rafe and Jada wanted to surprise Eric and Nicole at Basic Black. Eric got info about Marlena, Kayla and Kate when Nicole walked in the room. He updated her about what happened with them. Nicole thought he should be with his mother. She assured him there was a cure. She tried to make him feel better about what’s going on with Marlena and company. He hugged her while they were talking. Rafe and Jada walked in on them hugging. Eric and Nicole pulled apart and explained why they were hugging. Jada wanted to know what happened with Marlena, but Eric couldn’t get into that now. Nicole wanted to help him control his emotions. He didn’t have an appetite and wanted to go home. Jada offered to go with him. Eric and Jada left the room.

Nancy and Mike ran into each other in the town square. They had a tense reunion. He remembered what she did when he was in Salem before. She told him about Craig and Clyde. She let him know that she was paying for her wrongdoings. He shared with her that he thought he was gay at a point. He was glad things changed. She told him that she and Craig were in a good place. He let her know that he was going to be in New York and she said she was going back there too. Jennifer was nervous waiting for Mike. She wanted to get the rehab started. Jack assured her that everything would be taken care of when they get to New York. Jennifer didn’t want him to go with her. She told him that she would be in treatment and Gwen needed him. Jack held her and told her how much he loved her. She didn’t want to let Abby down again. Mike arrived to get her. She told him that admitting that she needed help was the hardest thing to do. Jennifer said goodbye to Doug and Julie. She started to cry in front of Jack. He assured her that it wasn’t goodbye. She touched him and left with Mike. Leo ran into Craig and he wanted to apologize for accusing him of murder. Craig told him that he was the first man he fell for and their relationship would always be special to him. Craig said he still had feelings for him, but he heard him talking on the phone with Gwen about needing a sugar daddy. Leo said he tried to blackmail Jack, but it didn’t work out for him.

Craig told Leo that being with him was like being on the edge of a cliff. He thought Nancy was a good and solid person. he couldn’t be with someone like him. Rex told John that there hasn’t been in changes on the women’s illnesses. He said the only cure was the one Rolf made. He told John that the flower Rolf used doesn’t exist anymore. John knew Rolf would have a cure. Rex said they didn’t know where he could be. John thought Stefan would know where to find him. Rex planned on tracking him down. Kristen went to visit Marlena at the hospital. She lied and told her that she found out about her condition at the hospital. They talked about the orchid that was needed for the cure. Kristen flashed back to Rolf showing her the orchid. Marlena knew that John and Steve would find it and give it to Rex to create a cure. Kristen wanted a favor. Marlena didn’t think anyone could make her laugh. She wanted her to think of Rachel. Kristen wanted her to talk to Brady about Rachel. Marlena refused to help her get Rachel. Kristen wished her luck on the orchid. Kristen said it would be a shame if the people she loved died.

Chad went to see Jennifer. She told him she was going to rehab. She told him that Mike was in charge of a facility that she was going to in New York. Chad apologized for relying on her too much. He thought he made things worse while she was struggling. He said he was glad Abby got justice. Jennifer said it wasn’t enough. He told her he saw Abby. He said he needed to be strong. She was surprised that he talked to Abby. Jennifer said she saw Abby too. She said she let people down. He said people let her down too. He said she felt like a mother to him. He said Abby would want it. He said Abby would want them to be close. Jennifer said they were. When he left, she thought about the accident. She was shocked when she realized it was Gwen that she hit. Gwen woke up from a nightmare she had about the accident. When she woke up, she saw Sarah in her room. Sarah asked if she remembered anything about the accident. Sarah asked if she remembered the accident. Sarah asked if she remembered the driver. Sarah said she was glad she was awake so she could talk to her about framing her and Abby. Gwen asked what did she want from her. Sarah wanted to know if she was out for revenge. Gwen said she did everything she could to separate her from Xander. Gwen said Sarah won in the end and got what she wanted. Sarah apologized to her. Sarah said she saw the bitterness in her eyes. He said they were going to expose Jennifer. She wanted to know what he was talking about. He said they were going to blackmail Jennifer and make money. Xander ran into Jack at the pub. Jack was looking t the police report about Gwen’s accident. Xander asked if there were any leads on what happened to Gwen. Jack said there weren’t any leads. Jack told him he thought Jennifer was the one who hit Gwen. Jack told him about what has been going on with Jennifer. Xander said he was doing the best he could. Rex arrived in Salem to see his mother. He and Roman talked about what happened to Kate, Kayla and Marlena. Rex had a feeling that what happened to them was man made and created in a lab. Roman thought Rolf could have helped Orpheus with the pathogen. Rex reminded him when he was sick in South America years ago. He wondered if they had the same illness that he had back then. Kate thought it was possible since Orpheus’ vendetta started with Roman. Rex left so he could compare Roman’s medical records with the women’s records. Stephanie ran into Steve and got upset that he didn’t tell her about Kayla. She was mad that she had to hear it from Eric. He didn’t want to tell her when they had a better way to handle it. He told her they were waiting for the labs to come back. He told her that Orpheus was behind what happened. They went to Kayla’s room to check on her. Kayla wanted to check on Marlena, but Steve stopped her from going. Stephanie wanted to tell Joey and Tripp about Kayla. Kayla didn’t want them to come home. Stephanie didn’t think she could stop them from coming. Kayla asked her to put a positive spin on her condition. Stephanie tried to downplay what was going on with Kayla when she called Joey.

John prayed for Marlena, Kayla and Kate at the chapel when Brady showed up. He let him know that Belle and Eric were with Marlena. He said he wanted to help Marlena, but there was nothing he could do. Brady tried to comfort John. Brady did give him good news. He told him that he got custody of Rachel thanks to Chloe. John and Brady ran into Steve and they talked about how frustrating it was that they couldn’t help the women. Steve thought someone would be able to help them soon. Stefan went to see Chloe. She reminded him that she was in love with Brady. Stefan wanted to wish her a happy birthday. He wondered about her plans and she let him know that she didn’t have any. He was shocked no one remembered her birthday. She said no one remembered it. He was happy that he was the only one who remembered. She knew Brady her family were dealing with a lot. Rolf was working on an important project when Kristen walked in the room. She wanted him to do something to Chloe. He wanted her to leave. She wanted him to kidnap Chloe and take her love for Brady away. Rolf didn’t want to go back to prison so he decided to listen to her. he was working on the toxin Orpheus unleashed. He said if anything happened with Marlena, Kayla and Kate, he would be blamed for it.

Julie found Jack with Doug’s pill bottle. She said they never refilled the bottle, but he said Jennifer did. Jennifer told Abby that she would make anyone who hurt her pay. Clyde told Chad he was going to be with Abby while he was strangling him. EJ ended up shooting Clyde in the back. EJ asked if Chad was alright. Chad said for him to tell him that Clyde was dead. EJ kicked Clyde. Chad said it was too bad he was still kicking. EJ asked Clyde how it felt to be the one eating up the grass. EJ asked how it felt. Chad asked how it felt to be close to dying and there was nothing he could do about it. Chad and EJ said they were going to enjoy it. Chad said Abby was still clinging to life when he found her. He said she was agonizing until her last breath. He said Clyde was going to know that feeling. He said Abby was with someone she loved before she died, but Clyde wouldn’t be. Shawn and Belle went to the cemetery. Rafe found Gwen passed out on the ground. Clyde asked Chad and EJ to call for help. Chad told him he had to speak up. Clyde said they couldn’t let him die. Chad asked if EJ heard something. EJ said he didn’t. Chad said it must have been the wind. Jack looked around the house for Jennifer. Julie said he wasn’t there. He asked if she noticed Jennifer’s attitude. Julie said Jennifer was grieving. He wanted to go look for Jennifer, but she came home. He said he was calling her. She said her phone was turned off. He asked where she was. Rafe told Gwen that she was going to make it. Rafe called for help. Shawn and Belle showed up while EJ and Chad were waiting for Clyde to die. Shawn called for help. When Shawn got off the phone, he asked what happened. Belle told EJ not to say anything. Chad said he didn’t need a lawyer because he had nothing to hide. Jack asked Jennifer why she went out when she said she wasn’t feeling well. Jennifer said she saw Abby. He said it wasn’t possible. She said she knew. She said she wanted to see Clyde. Julie wanted to know why she wanted to see Clyde. Jack told her Clyde might have been the one who killed Abby. Jennifer said she wanted to go to the police station to see Clyde. She asked if Clyde was arrested. She said he had to pay for what he did. Jack said they had to deal with something first. She asked what. He showed her the pill bottle.

Chad and Shawn were at the police station. Chad told Shawn how he got the gun. Chad told him that Clyde confessed to killing Abby. He said Clyde wasn’t going to kill Abby. He said he wanted to kill Belle. Belle showed up while Chad was talking. Shawn wanted to know why Clyde wanted to kill Belle. EJ showed up and heard the conversation. Chad said Clyde wanted to kill her because he thought she knew too much about what he did to EJ. Belle apologized. Shawn asked if he got Clyde to confess. Chad said he went after Clyde. EJ said he showed up and shot Clyde. Belle said EJ didn’t have a choice but to shoot Clyde. Shawn wanted to talk to Clyde to get his side of the story. Jennifer asked Jack what the pill bottle was, He said it was a prescription bottle. Jennifer said it was Doug’s. Julie said Doug hasn’t refilled the bottle. Jennifer asked what she was accusing her of. He said she had a pill addiction before. She said that was years ago. He wanted to know if she was addicted to pills. Xander and Sarah were at the hospital when Gwen was brought there. Xander asked what happened. Rafe told her he found Gwen unconscious at the police station. Xander asked if Jack knew. Rafe called Jack and told him about Gwen. Jennifer wanted to know where Jack was. Julie said he had to go because he got a call about Gwen. Jennifer said she hoped Gwen was okay. Sarah told Xander and Rafe that Gwen was okay. Rafe wanted to know if he could question Gwen. Sarah said Gwen was sedated. Xander wanted to sit with her because Jack wouldn’t want her to be alone. EJ told Belle that he apologized for putting her in danger. Belle said he had no way of knowing that Clyde was listening. She said he had no reason to apologize. Shawn went to the hospital and told Rafe that Chad shot Clyde. Jack showed up at the hospital to check on Gwen. Shawn told Jack that Chad shot Clyde. Jack asked if Clyde was dead. They told him that he wasn’t dead. Jack wanted to know what room Clyde was in. They told him to be with Gwen. Jack still wanted to see Clyde. Jack asked Clyde why he killed his daughter. EJ told Chad that he should have stopped Clyde sooner. He said he failed Chad, Abby and the kids. He said he failed the family. He said he could never forgive himself. He apologized to Chad. Chad thanked him for coming to his rescue and for saving his life. Clyde told Jack that he never touched Abby. Jack said he should have known he wouldn’t have admitted to what he did. Clyde said he shouldn’t talk without a lawyer. Jack ripped into him for what he did to Abby. Clyde said he was better off without her. He said she was beautiful. He said she wasn’t an angel because she cheated on his son. Xander told Gwen that Jack was on his way to see her. He told her Jack would be there. She opened her eyes and wondered where she was. Sarah told her she was in the hospital. Rafe came in to question Gwen. Julie asked Jennifer how long she has been taking pills. Jennifer said it was a few weeks. Julie asked why she didn’t say anything. Jennifer said she didn’t want to be judged. Julie said she wouldn’t have been judged. Jennifer said she told Maggie about it. She said Maggie took her to a meeting and made her throw out the pills. She said she got the pills and started taking them. Julie told her that she had to be there for Abby’s kids because they were going to need her for a long time. Rafe asked Gwen if she was ready to answer some questions. She said her head was starting to clear. Jack showed up in her room. She thanked him for coming. Gwen said she saw a car that was coming towards her. Rafe asked if she saw the driver. She said she didn’t see the driver. She said the lights blinded her. She asked who could do that to someone outside of a police station. Jack thought about Jennifer saying she went to the police station.

Stefan and EJ talked about him taking Clyde down. Stefan was grateful to him for bring Clyde to justice. Stefan thought he loved Abby, but he realized he was obsessed with her. He didn’t know what love was until he found Chloe. He was upset that Gabi got in the way of that. EJ was glad he was on the same page as him about getting her out of DiMera. Stefan didn’t think he had enough shares to have the majority vote. He said Shin could restore Ava’s vote so they had to get someone to switch sides. EJ wanted to get Johnny. EJ asked if Stefan knew why Rolf kept him alive. Stefan didn’t know why he kept him alive. They talked about Kristen’s involvement. Stefan wasn’t sure who else was involved. EJ got a message that Stefan’s shares were up for taking. Li went to see Chloe. He told her that he was worried about her because of what happened with her mother. He mentioned Stefan and Gabi. He wanted to know how she felt about Stefan being back. She told him that she was with Brady. She told him that Stefan cheated on her with Gabi. She told him that he wouldn’t be able to keep Stefan away from Gabi. Nancy went to visit Clyde in the hospital. She wanted to know if anything about their relationship was real. She wanted to know if he ever loved her. He said he wanted to be a better man for her. He wished he didn’t hurt her. He wanted to know if she could forgive him. She told him to get forgiveness from the families he hurt. She said she would pray for him.

Chad went to Abby’s headstone to bring him flowers. He wanted to talk to her and didn’t know what to say. Abby appeared and talked to him. She wanted to know how he felt about finding her killer. Chad started crying. He thought he would feel relieved, but he felt empty. He wasn’t sure what he was living for. She let him know that he almost died. She wanted to know if that’s what he wanted. He said he did because he would get to be with her. She didn’t want him to make a choice like that. He didn’t know how he could go on. She grabbed his hand and told him to remember why he has to go on with his life. She wanted him to be there for Thomas and Charlotte. Abby wished they could have made more memories together. He told her there would never be anyone else. She knew he wouldn’t feel that way forever. She knew that he wouldn’t stop loving her just like she wouldn’t stop loving him. They said goodbye to each other.

Jennifer looked at Abby’s picture and took a pill. She hid the bottle before Jack could see it. He told her that he saw Leo. He didn’t think Leo did it. She thought it was too much. Shawn called Jack and told him that Clyde killed Abby. He was for sure this time. Jack told her that they should go to the police station. She was overwhelmed and decided not to go. Jennifer started to cry and suddenly saw Abby appear. Jennifer reached out to her, but Abby backed away. She told her that she was taking pills again because she didn’t know how to go on without her. She wanted to know why Abby was there. Jennifer wanted to learn the truth badly. She looked at Abby’s dress and saw the blood on it. She reached out to her, but Abby disappeared. Jennifer wanted Abby to come back to her. Gwen went to see Leo at the station. She told him that Clyde set him up. He wanted to know why she showed up to tell him. She wanted to tell him since she was the reason why he was back in jail. She told him they were even. She told him about what’s going on with Jennifer. She thought Jack should know the truth. She didn’t want to make things worse with Jennifer. Later, Gwen ran into Jack at the station. He told her that Jennifer was at home alone. She thought he should have been concerned. Gwen told him about Jennifer taking pills. He didn’t want to believe it, but she said he should be worried about Jennifer.

Chad demanded that Clyde tell him what happened with Abby. He was going to give him seconds to live. Clyde told him what happened when he ran into Abby. He went to the DiMera mansion to strangle Belle so EJ could find her. He said he ran into Abby. They were talking and she noticed he was wearing black gloves. She knew he was lying about why he was there. He stopped her from getting away from him and he noticed the knife. Chad started to cry so Clyde wanted to stop talking. Chad wanted to hear more about what happened. He continued to tell Chad about the struggle he had with Abby until he stabbed her. Chad wanted to know if he enjoyed what he did to her. He told Chad that he saw Leo’s list of enemies and wanted to frame someone else for what he did. He followed Leo to Sonny’s office. Chad threatened him again. Clyde noticed that he didn’t pull the trigger. Jack went home and saw the empty pill bottle. Jennifer drove with Abby in the passenger seat. Jennifer threatened to go after everyone who tried to make Abby pay. Gwen was outside the station and panicked when she saw flashing headlights. Clyde fought Chad over the gun. They struggled and Clyde pinned Chad to the ground. He choked Chad and told him that he would be with Abby soon. EJ arrived in time and shot Clyde.

Jada went to Basic Black because it was Eric’s first day. She told Nicole that she accidentally grabbed him phone. Nicole asked if she did that while they were in bed. Jada told her about being upset about their relationship. Nicole said she wasn’t upset. Jada thought Nicole wanted their relationship to fail. Jada wondered why Nicole suddenly had to offer Eric the job, She told Nicole it felt like she was in a competition with her for Eric’s heart. Nicole said she was protective of him. Jada thought she was trying to say she wasn’t good for him. She asked if Nicole knew how that made her feel? Eric showed up while they were arguing. He wanted to know what was going on between them. Jada told him about the phone issue. They exchanged phones. Jada kissed him and left. He asked Nicole about the tension between her and Jada. Nicole admitted that she lied to Rafe about offering him a job as a way to explain why she was in Eric’s room, She said she offered him the job to cover up. He ended up quitting. She asked him not to quit. She said the circumstances of the offer weren’t ideal, they needed a photographer. He said he would stay if she was honest with Rafe about why she lied. She admitted to him that the dream she had about him was a sex dream. He told her he had a sex dream about her. Nancy told Chad that Clyde wore vanilla cologne. Chad asked if he knew where Clyde was. She said he was at the hospital. Chad left. Rafe asked Craig about where he was the night Sonny was stabbed. Craig said he couldn’t believe he was being accused of stabbing Sonny as well as killing Abby. Craig said he wasn’t in town. He said it was an insult that Rafe was listening to Leo. Rafe wanted to know if he had an alibi for both attacks.

Nancy went to see Chloe and Brady. Nancy told them she and Clyde were getting married. Chloe wanted to know why they were rushing to get married. Nancy asked her why should she wait. Nancy said she wanted them to be witnesses. Craig showed up and told her he might not be able to be at her wedding because he was accused of murder. Nancy said she knew he would be able to give an alibi. She wanted the day to be about her. When Nancy left to get dressed, Chloe asked Craig to help her stop the wedding. Clyde had a flashback of stabbing Sonny. Will showed up and wondered why Clyde was at the hospital. Clyde said he was there for a drug test. They talked about their time in prison. Clyde said he was glad they caught the guy who attacked Sonny. Clyde left to go to his wedding. Chad showed up at the hospital. Chad asked if he saw Clyde. Will said he was just there. Chad said he thought Clyde was the killer. They went to Sonny’s room. Chad asked Sonny to remember if he saw Clyde when he was attacked. Sonny closed his eyes and remembered seeing Clyde. Sonny wondered why Clyde would do that to him. Chad said the knife Clyde used was the same knife that killed Abby. He said Clyde’s alibi checked out. Sonny said he knew he saw Clyde’s reflection. Chad wondered where Clyde was. Will said he was going to city hall to get married. Chad said he would tell the police and left. Sonny told Will that he was afraid that Clyde would come back to finish the job. Will said he was safe as long as Leo was locked up. Sonny said he knew it wasn’t Leo. Jada went to the police station. She asked if there was any news on the case. He said Leo might be innocent. Rafe asked her to look over the evidence for anything they might have missed. She looked at the surveillance and told him there was a problem with Clyde’s alibi. Rafe said Clyde didn’t have an alibi for Abby’s murder. Chad went to the DiMera mansion and took a gun out of the safe.

Alex told Justin about Sonny’s theory about his stabbing. Justin left the room to confirm what Sonny said. Nancy arrived at the Kiriakis mansion to see Bonnie. Bonnie helped Nancy get ready for the wedding. Justin walked in the room with a somber look on his face. Justin told them that Clyde was the one who stabbed Sonny and killed Abby. Nancy didn’t want to believe it. Justin wanted her to rethink the wedding. Nancy started crying and said that Clyde loves her. She insisted that he was innocent. She said she was getting married and there was nothing Justin could do to stop her. She thanked Bonnie for her help, but she uninvited her to the wedding. Bonnie reminded Justin that she was a bad person once, but she changed. She thought Clyde might have changed too, Justin loved her forgiving her, but he didn’t think Clyde changed. Justin was willing to talk to Sonny again. Craig told Chloe that he couldn’t stop Nancy from getting married. Chloe begged him to do it. Brady wanted them to take a minute. Chloe said they had to stop it now. She reminded him that if they didn’t stop him, he would have married a con artist. Craig told her that Nancy made her choice and Clyde paid his debt to society. He thought he stayed on the right side of the law. She told him that Clyde abused his kids, but Craig didn’t want to hear about it. Chloe wanted him to back her up, but he thought they should stay out of it.

Jada wanted a warrant for Clyde’s arrest. Rafe left a message for Chad about what happened. They rushed to find Clyde. Chad found a gun in the safe and was about to leave when EJ spotted him. He wanted to know what Chad was doing. He said he had to pick up something. EJ asked him about Abby’s murder case. Chad let him know that Leo was innocent. He said Clyde killed her. He said he was going to make Clyde pay. EJ felt guilty because he should have told him that Clyde threatened his family. EJ wanted to help Chad, but he told him to go to Hell. Clyde was ready to go into City Hall when Chad stopped him with his gun. Belle went to the DiMera mansion to tell him about her encounter with Clyde. He told her that Clyde killed Abby. He said he was worried about Chad. He realized that Chad planned to kill Clyde. Belle wanted to call the police, but EJ didn’t want her to do it at first. He ended up agreeing to let her call Shawn. Craig, Chloe and Brady were at City Hall and wondered what happened to Nancy and Clyde. Chloe wanted to leave, but Craig didn’t want to do that to Nancy. Rafe and Jada showed up to arrest Clyde for Abby’s murder. Nancy arrived after they told them about Clyde. Nancy realized they were there because of Sonny’s accusations. Chloe told her about the altered footage of Clyde’s alibi. Nancy stormed out of the room. Chad took Clyde to Abby’s headstone. He forced him to get on the ground. He wanted to know why he killed her. Clyde said he didn’t do it because he had an alibi. Chad told him that his alibi wasn’t legit. He wanted to know why he killed Abby. Clyde told him that he thought she was Belle. Clyde explained everything that happened leading up to the murder.

EJ told Stefan they could do great things together. EJ said they could destroy Gabi. When Stefan didn’t rush to do it, EJ wondered why Stefan was hesitating. Stefan said he wanted to hear the whole plan. EJ said Stefan should take back his shares now that he’s alive. He said that would give them the shares they needed to oust her. He said Stefan would have to be willing to take her down. He asked Stefan if he was willing to take her down. Chad came in and was shocked to see Stefan. Stefan said he wanted to start over with Chad. Chad refused to do it after what he did to Abby. He told Stefan that Abby was dead. Stefan was shocked to hear that. Chad said Leo was the main suspect. He said the only thing Sonny remembered was the suspect was wearing vanilla. He went upstairs. EJ asked Stefan if he was still willing to go after Gabi. Leo told Gwen why Chad was the killer and was setting him up. She didn’t think Craig was that cold-blooded. Leo said Craig used to be shady. He told her how Craig could have set him up. She asked how Craig could have gotten his hit list. Leo didn’t know how he could have gotten the list. He said no one else had reason to hate him the way Craig did.

Gwen wanted to call the police, but Leo stopped her. He asked if she was going to turn him in. She said she forgave him for turning on her. She said she wanted to prove his innocence. He said he wanted to get back at Craig. She texted Rafe and told him to investigate Craig. Craig ran into Nancy and Clyde at the Pub. Craig said he was back because of Leo’s crimes. He said it was his fault for dumping Leo at the altar. Nancy introduced Clyde as her fiance. Craig told them that Chloe told him about Leo’s hit list. He said he knew Brady and Chloe were on Leo’s list Nancy said Leo hasn’t indicated that he was after Brady and Chloe, She wondered why Leo would spare Brady and Chloe. Craig thought it was because Leo still loved him. Craig wanted to celebrate their engagement. While they were in the Square, she left them alone. Craig and Clyde argued over Clyde not being good enough for Nancy. Clyde reminded him about what he did to her. Chad showed up while they were talking. Clyde wanted an apology form Chad for accusing him of murder. Chad didn’t want to get into it now. While he was standing next to Craig, he noticed the smell of vanilla. Stefan went to Gabi’s office. She noticed that he was wearing his ring. She asked if that meant that he still loved her. Leo was glad Gwen was going to help him. Rafe showed up to arrest him. She said she told Rafe that Leo was in her room.

Jennifer looked at a picture of Abby and took a couple of pills. Jack walked in the room so she hid the bottle. She got emotional over Abby. Jack hugged her when the bell rang. Jennifer wanted Jack to answer the door. Jennifer hid the bottle behind Abby’s picture. Jack came back in the room with Gwen. Jennifer thanked her for turning Leo in to the police. Gwen admitted that she mostly did it out of spite. She was thankful her daughter’s killer was in custody. Gwen wasn’t sure that was true. Jack had doubts about that too. Jennifer wanted to know who the killer was if it wasn’t Leo. Gwen told them about Leo’s theory about Craig. Jennifer knew Craig wasn’t an angel, but she didn’t think he was a murderer. She wanted to know why he would kill Abby. Gwen said she was collateral damage in Craig’s revenge plot. Gwen apologized for not being able to make amends for what she did to Abby. She hoped her killer paid for what he did. Jack thanked her and offered to walk her out. When they left Jennifer grabbed the pill bottle. Gwen ended up seeing the bottle. Jennifer told her they were for a sinus infection. Gwen knew what the pills were. She said her mother used to hide pills behind pictures too. She didn’t want to judge her.. She wanted to help her. She wanted to get Jack, but Jennifer didn’t want her to do it. She warned Gwen that she only has a relationship with Jack because she allowed it. She told Gwen that she would make sure Jack never talked to her again if she told him what she saw. She told Gwen to get out of her house.

Chad told Rafe about Sonny smelling vanilla before he was stabbed. He told him that he smelled vanilla when he saw Craig. Rafe wanted to know what motive Craig had to do it. He wondered if he was getting revenge on Leo. Chad didn’t think it was so crazy. He wanted the right person to be locked up so Rafe agreed to look into it. Leo thought about Gwen turning him in to the police. Craig showed up and knew about what happened to Leo. Leo accused him of setting him up for Abby’s murder and Sonny’s attack. Craig scoffed, but Leo knew it was true. He planned to prove it. Craig grabbed Leo through the bars. He didn’t think anyone would miss Leo. He said he didn’t stab anyone. He said he wasn’t the one framing him. Leo said he was crazy and sadistic. Leo planned to prove that Craig was guilty. He said Craig would be sorry he ever met him. Craig said he was already sorry he met him. Rafe saw Craig and wanted to talk to him in the interrogation room. Chad ran into Nancy at the pub. He told her that he ran into Craig the day before. He asked her about him wearing vanilla. Nancy said he never wore cologne. She said Clyde wore that scent. Chad remembered seeing Chad with Clyde. Clyde was outside of Sonny’s room. He thought about Clyde walking towards Sonny while gripping a knife.

Steve went to the interrogation room to see Orpheus. He knew one of them would come by to see him. Steve was willing to give him one chance to tell him what he did to Kayla, Kate and Marlena. He clicked a pen in Orpheus’ face. Orpheus made fun of him for choosing that as a weapon. Steve knew if he hit a major artery, he would instantly die. He said he would die if he didn’t tell him what he did to the women. Chloe arrived at the station to ask Shawn to testify that Brady didn’t kill Philip. Shawn said he couldn’t do that. She was upset because Kristen was going to win again. Kayla was in Marlena’s room and assured Stephanie that she would be okay. She started coughing, but told her there was nothing to worry about. Marlena told her that she and John decided not to tell their children what happened too. Marlena started coughing while she was talking to a patient on the phone. Kayla told her that she shouldn’t be working. Marlena wanted to keep herself distracted from the custody hearing. Kayla didn’t understand how any judge could give Kristen custody of a child. Kayla was worried about Steve’s visit with Orpheus. Steve kept trying to get Orpheus to talk to him, but Shawn came in the room. He stopped Steve from going after Orpheus. Steve walked out of the room.

Belle questioned John about the type of father Brady is. John ended up thinking about what Orpheus did to Marlena, Kayla and Kate. He became emotional and realized someone asked him about the type of father Brady was. He talked about Kristen’s crimes, but the judge stopped him. John let the judge know that he mentioned Kristen’s crimes to show that Brady puts Rachel first. John got upset when he mentioned Kristen stabbing Victor, but he controlled himself. Kristen began her turn and questioned John’s competency since Marlena went on a crime spree for months. She brought up how Marlena was possessed. She wanted to know where Marlena was. She wondered what would be more important than supporting her stepson. John blurted out that she could be dying. The judge called a recess. He told Brady and Belle what was going on with Marlena. Belle rushed to see Marlena with John. Kristen asked Brady to stay behind. She expressed her sympathy towards Marlena, but he went off on her. They threaten each other about how far they would go to protect Rachel. Brady stormed off to join John and Belle. They expressed how much they loved Marlena until the judge called Belle. Belle and Brady had to leave. Chloe saw Kate at the pub and asked her to testify for Brady. She wanted her to tell the judge that Brady didn’t kill Philip. Kate said she would think about it. Chloe walked away from her. Roman told Kate he would go to the judge himself if she would talk to her. Kate begged him not to do that. She thought it could ruin the progress Philip made. Roman didn’t think Brady should lose Rachel to Kristen. He wanted her to think about talking to the judge. The hearing resumed and Kristen continued to accuse Brady of killing Philip. Roman walked in and said he had something to say. The judge told him that he was too late because she made her decision. Steve found Kayla coughing at the hospital. She wanted to know what he did to Orpheus. He downplayed what happened. She got a call from the ISA. They went to see John and Marlena. She told them the ISA was having trouble figuring out what was wrong with them. Kayla passed out.

While they were talking, she told him she knew he was lying to her. She told him she didn’t want to be a part of his illegal dealings. She told him they were done. He said he didn’t do anything wrong. She asked him if he was cheating on her with a woman or a man. He said he wasn’t cheating on her. She wanted to know what his big secret was. He showed her a ring box. He proposed to her. She said it wasn’t that long ago when she felt rejected because of Craig. She said she felt loved and hopeful. He said he wanted her to feel those things. She accepted his proposal. Leo showed up in Gwen’s room. He wanted her to hide him from the police. She said she should turn him in to the police the same way he did to her. He said he was being framed. He said she was the only one he could turn to for help. He said she had no idea what it felt like to be alone. She said she did know what it felt like. She asked him who he thought was the killer. He said he narrowed it down to someone who hated him. He said he thought it was Nancy. Gwen said Nancy wouldn’t kill anyone. She thought it might have been Darius. Leo thought it could have been him, but he was deported back to Canada. Leo thought about who could be setting him up. He said he knew who it was. He said it was Craig.

Sonny told Will and Chad about Leo coming to see him. Sonny said he was starting to think that Leo was innocent. He said if Leo wanted to kill him, he would have done it by now. Will and Chad thought Leo could be guilty. Sonny said he had a strong feeling about it. Chad said Marlena could hypnotize Sonny. Will said Marlena wasn’t feeling well. Chad suggested that he and Will help Sonny remember. Will didn’t want Sonny to go through that again. Will wanted Sonny to relax so he could remember what happened. Sonny said he smelled vanilla. He said whoever came in his office smelled like vanilla. He said that was all he remembered. Xander went to see Jack so he could help him get Sarah back. Jack said he didn’t know how he could help him. He said he understood why Sarah was upset. Xander appreciated Jack’s help. Xander realized he shouldn’t be relying on other people to help him. Jack said he was proud of his growth. Xander asked about Abby’s case. Jack said Leo was still on the loose. Xander said he wanted Jack to get justice, but he didn’t think Leo was guilty. Jack said he thought it was Leo. Xander said he hoped Leo got caught. Jack told him Sarah would get over it because she loved him. When Xander left, Chad showed up. He told Jack that Sonny didn’t think Leo was the killer. Jack said Xander thought the same thing. Sarah went to see Maggie. Maggie was surprised to see her. She thought Sarah would be on her honeymoon. Sarah said her marriage was over. Sarah said she was upset that Xander tried to break up Nicole and Eric’s marriage. Maggie didn’t understand why she was upset since Xander went through a lot. Sarah was furious. Maggie warned her that Gwen would go after Xander if she broke up with him. Sarah didn’t think he would go back to Gwen. Maggie said Gwen was manipulative and would do whatever she could to take advantage of the situation. Sarah said she knew about his relationship with Gwen before they got married. Maggie told her not to blame him for his past the way she doesn’t blame Victor for his. Sarah couldn’t believe she was telling her to forgive Xander. Maggie said Xander spent a lot of time thinking she didn’t love him and didn’t want anything to do with him. Maggie said Xander never stopped loving her.

EJ wanted someone to track down Stefan. He thought he could be the one to help him stop Gabi from taking over DiMera Enterprises. Stefan walked in while he was demanding information about him. EJ said he was happy that he was alive. Stefan reminded him that they never met before. He told him that he’s only seen him in bandages. Stefan said they were practically strangers so he wanted to know why he was happy to see him. EJ knew they would do great things together. He suggested getting rid of Gabi from the company. Stefan smirked at him while he was talking. Kristen accused Brady of killing Philip in cold blood. He denied killing him, but Kristen reminded him about the charges that were against him. She also mentioned him being drunk. Kristen gave the judge the evidence about Brady. Brady told the judge the charges didn’t have any bearing on the type of father he is. He told the judge that no one was hurt. He told the judge about Kristen’s past actions.

The judge told Belle to control her client. Kristen told the judge she didn’t want her child to be raised by an alcoholic. She said he was a good man until he got involved with Chloe. She was convinced Chloe pushed him to kill. Kristen didn’t want Brady near her daughter until he freed himself from Chloe. Belle was ready to start her half of the case, but the judge was ready to  end the session for the day.Kristen was about to leave when Brady stopped her. He let her know that her antics weren’t going to work. She thought his outburst would help her. She was convinced that was all she needed. She planned on telling the judge how Victor covered up what he did to Philip to get him out of trouble. She was convinced the judge would side with her. Belle tried to appeal to Kristen’s love for Rachel to get her to drop the suit. Kristen told her to convince Chloe to move on from Brady and be with someone else.

Chloe reassured Brady that he wouldn’t lose custody of Rachel. Belle arrived in the courtroom and wondered what happened to Kristen. Brady didn’t know and thought she was up to no good. The judge showed up so Belle moved for the case to be dismissed since Kristen wasn’t there. Kristen met with Li outside of the pub. She let him know that she had to get to the courthouse. He wanted her to listen to him because she was the reason Stefan was awake sooner than he was supposed to be. He told her that Stefan went to the crypt and told Gabi that he didn’t love her. Kristen didn’t see why he was angry, but he told her it was a dangerous move. He said he didn’t know where Stefan was and Gabi was a wreck. Kristen didn’t care since she had her own problems. The judge said if Kristen didn’t show up in the next minute, she would dismiss the case. Kristen arrived and announced she would be representing herself. She called Chloe as her first witness. The judge reminded her that it wasn’t a trial. Kristen told her about Brady and Chloe’s relationship. Kristen told the judge that Rachel hated Chloe. Belle objected, but the judge allowed Kristen to question Chloe. Kristen wanted to know why Chloe wanted to steal her child. She brought up how she tried to keep Nicole’s daughter. Chloe said she did what was best for the baby. Belle interrupted and asked Chloe about her relationship with Nicole now. Chloe assured them everything was fine between her and Nicole. The court had recess. Belle informed Brady and Chloe that Kristen’s line of questioning didn’t help their case. Chloe wanted to testify against Kristen now, but Belle thought it was a bad idea. Belle advised her to leave the courtroom. Chloe left the courtroom.

The case resumed so Kristen questioned Brady. She asked him why he thought it was okay to raise their daughter with a murderer. Gabi was in the crypt and thought about Stefan being there and rejecting her. She wanted to find out what Rolf did to her and refused to let him go again. Ava wanted to know why Johnny was still in her hotel room. She reminded them that he was supposed to be there for one night. He said he would leave. EJ showed up at the hotel room and was upset to see Johnny with Ava. He wanted to take Johnny, home, but he refused to go with him. They ended up arguing about it. Ava draped her arm around Johnny and told EJ that their plans weren’t his business. EJ said he was showing concern for Johnny, but he wouldn’t do it again. After EJ left, Ava wanted Johnny to leave. He said he could stay on the floor because he would rather stay with her than go back to the mansion. She still wanted him to leave. He didn’t have anywhere to go, but he decided to go.

John went to see Steve. John said he was ready to go after Orpheus. He called Shane, but the ISA didn’t have anything on Orpheus. They talked about using Orpheus’ children against him. John said they could talk to Rafe so he could get Zoey to help them. Kate went to see Roman for his birthday. He was worried that Orpheus would come after her. She ended up getting sick. He wanted her to go to the hospital. She agreed to go. At the hospital, Marlena and Kayla talked about John and Steve being worried about them. They thought Orpheus was getting to John and Steve. Kate showed up and said she wasn’t feeling well. Kayla thought she should get checked out. Kate ended up passing out. When Kate was in her room, Marlena went to call Roman. Kayla realized she had the same symptoms as Kate. Kayla passed out on Kate’s bed. Kate woke her up. They realized Orpheus did something to them. Roman showed up at the hospital. Marlena ended up passing out too.

When Roman got Marlena settled, John showed up. They all realized Orpheus had something to do with it, but the men weren’t affected by it. They figured that whatever Orpheus did wasn’t contagious. They thought the kidnapping was a set up. They thought Orpheus would be getting in touch with them soon. Rafe had a dream that Eric and Nicole were having sex. Nicole wanted Rafe to tell her about the dream. He told her about his dream. She asked him what brought that up. He said Jada said something the other day. He said Jada said it was weird for her to be dating Nicole’s ex-husband. Nicole said she went to see Eric to offer him a job. Rafe didn’t believe that. She said she didn’t tell him because he was busy with work. Rafe went to the station and ran into Jada. He asked her how things were going with Eric. He asked if Eric was going to take the job at Basic Black. Nicole went to see Eric just as he was going to take a shower. Orpheus called John and Steve to tell him he was behind what was going on with Marlena, Kayla and Kate.

Johnny told Ava that he liked having her around. They started making out. She stopped him and told him she was old enough to be his mother. She talked to him about the reasons why they shouldn’t be together. She said her husband just died. She said she saw him Jake. She felt like she was losing her mind. He said EJ might be the reason why she felt that way. He said EJ had a history of driving women crazy. Li told EJ that he was closer to Jake than anyone. EJ told him to go to a retreat now that Jake’s service was over. Li said he would do that as soon as Gabi was finished saying goodbye to Stefan. EJ wondered how long it took to say goodbye to someone who has been dead for years. He said Gabi’s heart still belonged to Stefan. EJ and Li got into an argument over Gabi not being over Stefan. Li told him to mind his business. EJ said Stefan was his brother and Li and Gabi were about to consolidate power at DiMera so it was his business. Li said it wasn’t a mission. He said it was love. They talked about Ava. EJ said she was shrewd and off her rocker. Ava told Johnny that nothing was going to happen between them. She said the way he defended her and flirted with her lifted her spirits and ego. EJ walked in and assumed they made love. He told her to get out of the mansion. Johnny said he would leave if she did. EJ said it would be a win/win.

When EJ left, Johnny and Ava decided to move in the Salem Inn. He said it wouldn’t be about sex. He said he loved how his father thought they were having sex. He said he didn’t try to have sex with her to stick it to his father. He said he genuinely liked her. Gabi told Stefan’s urn that she had to move on from him despite their wonderful times. She said he was the love of her life and always would be. Stefan walked in the crypt. She was shocked to see him. She thought he was Jake. He wanted to know why everyone kept calling him Jake. She couldn’t believe he could be Stefan. She said she donated his heart to Julie. He told her what Rolf did. She kissed him. He stopped kissing her. He said he couldn’t stand her. She wanted him to remember loving her. Li walked in while they were talking. She told Li that Stefan was alive. She wanted to take Stefan to the hospital so he could get his memory back. He told her that she forgot that he was in love with Chloe until Gabi ruined things. EJ was upset when he found out Ava and Johnny were living together. Stefan ripped into Gabi about not loving her. When Stefan left, Li tried to hide his excitement.

Xander and Sarah were celebrating their honeymoon when they had some tension. She asked him if he told her about all of the women he was with while she was away. He thought about his affair with Nicole. She noticed that he was hiding something from her. She was upset when she found out that he was with Nicole. She wanted answers from him so he told her about it. She got upset by what he said and stormed into the bathroom. Nicole talked to Chloe about telling Eric about the job offer to make her lie a truth. Eric overheard her conversation so she had to come up with a lie to cover up what she said. She offered him a job at Basic Black. He thought it was a coincidence because he wanted to go back to photography. Eric wondered how Rafe would feel about them working together. She told him that he would be fine with it. Sarah showed up at the pub and saw them together. She apologized to them for what Xander did to ruin their anniversary party. Nicole didn’t want her to go into the details about what happened with Xander. Nicole was disgusted that Sarah married Xander. Sarah said they would still be married if it weren’t for Xander. Nicole said that Xander wasn’t the entire problem. Eric and Nicole apologized to each other for what went wrong in their marriage.

Orpheus taunted John/Marlena, Steve/Kayla and Roman/Kate on the phone by telling them about his plans for them. He informed them that the women were going to die just like Rachel did. He told them the bomb threat was a ruse, but he left clues about his intentions. He knew they were going to have to do everything they could to figure out what happened. The couples talked about Orpheus and what they were going to do to stop him. Rafe got a call from the lab about Orpheus. He received a forensic report about the kidnapping and was convinced he had a lead. They believed he was hiding at Rebecca Printing and Graphics. Later, they go to the building and take out Orpheus’ goons. They burst in the room and found Orpheus. Sarah went back to the room and Xander was relieved. She let him know that she planned on leaving him. Eric decided to take Nicole’s job offer. Rafe arrested Orpheus for attempted murder. Orpheus thought it was funny that he was arrested for attempted murder. Kayla told Steve they needed to find Rolf. John and Roman watched after Marlena and Kate.

Gabi was on the phone with Will when EJ barged in the room. He let her know that she made a mistake. He was convinced that Ava was her ticket out of the CEO position. He told her that hiring a crazy person wasn’t going to work. He didn’t think the marriage was real. He knew that Gabi didn’t think it was either. She told him that she didn’t lose her job, but he lost his son. He told her that she wouldn’t be a DiMera and wanted her to stay out of family business. EJ walked out just as Li showed up. He lied about where he was. He wasn’t happy that Ava was hired at the company. Ava was at DiMera Enterprises when Johnny showed up to check on her. She said EJ’s betrayal of his son was worse than what he did to her. She didn’t want to make their relationship worse. He told her that it was his father’s fault. He wouldn’t let his father treat her like that again. She was willing to move out so they could work things out. He offered to have a service for Jake at the family crypt. She thanked him for the gesture when EJ showed up. He yelled at Johnny before saying he was there to talk to Ava. Ava sent Johnny out of the room. EJ wanted to talk to her mental state and how she’s using his son. She said he was nice to her and that’s it. He brought up her hallucinations and he said he would prove she was unstable. He warned her that she was going to Bayview if she says she saw Jake again.

Chloe told Rafe that he should check where Leo was. She thanked him for his security to detail. Kristen wasn’t happy that Chloe left work early. Chloe let her know that Brady choice so he could fight for Rachel. They argued over who knew Brady better. Kristen said her hatred of Chloe was to protect her daughter. Chloe called her a sociopath and walked away. Chloe talked to Brady and let him know that she accidentally told Kristen she was testifying against her. They discussed how Rachel was handling everything. Brady knew it was hurting her. He admitted that Rachel was still mad at Chloe. He let her know that Belle thought Kristen threatened her to put a wedge between all of them. Chloe didn’t think she should testify anymore. She thought it would be better for Rachel. Li went to see Rolf and panicked when he saw Stefan free of the machines. Rolf told him that he wasn’t dead. He was working on brainwashing him. Li wanted him to get to work getting Stefan to fall for Chloe. Li walked out of the room as Kristen arrived. She wanted Rolf to wake her brother up. Rolf didn’t think Stefan was ready for that yet. Stefan woke up so Kristen told him to find Chloe since she was the woman he loved. He thought he was dead for a while. He didn’t remember Chloe being the woman he loved.
