Ridge: I can’t believe it. Finn is alive and well and right here in monaco.
Taylor: Right here. It is the most wonderful news we could have ever hoped for–
Ridge: How does this– this is– he’s given a second chance. His family’s been given a second chance.
Taylor: Did you see the way that finn’s face lit up when he saw his kids?
Ridge: This whole thing is like a dream to me.
Taylor: It is like a dream. Finn was just standing right here. Our daughter’s getting her life back.
Ridge: I know.
[ Phone ringing ] Oh, it’s baker. I gotta take this. Baker. Hey, how are you doing? Listen, we’ve got some incredible news. Finn is alive.
Baker: I know.
Ridge: You know how? You heard?
Baker: Yes, it’s incredible. And I’m very happy for your daughter and your entire family.
Ridge: Well, we’re– we’re– we’re happy. We’re in shock. But we, you know, we’re happy.
Baker: I’m sorry I have to take that away from you but I’m afraid I have some bad news.
Ridge: About what?
Baker: Sheila carter. She’s gotten away again.
[ Knocking ]
[ Knocking intensifies ]
Deacon: I’m off the clock, paul.
[ Knocking ] I’m not covering another shift. I’m not doin’ it.
[ Knocking ] For god’s sake. All right. I’m coming! Paul–
Deacon: Oh, hell no. Not today. No way.
Sheila: No, no, no, no, no.
Deacon: Sheila, what the–
Sheila: I need your help!
Deacon: Are you insane? Dumb question. What are you doing here?
Sheila: I’m running out there. They’re looking for me.
Deacon: Of course they’re looking for you! You busted out of prison. What did you think was gonna happen?
Sheila: Please, please, deacon. Just– please, just give me a minute. Don’t turn me in. I’ve got– I’ve got nowhere to go.
Finn: Steffy! Oh, I– I thought you were someone else. Sorry.

Taylor: I can’t believe sheila escaped again.
Ridge: I can’t believe that either. At least, baker says that li’s okay and they found that bastard, guthrie.

[ Phone ringing ] Oh.
Ridge: Okay. Finn. I’ll put him on speaker. Any luck?
Finn: No. I thought I saw steffy but it wasn’t her.
Ridge: All right, don’t give up. We’ll find her.
Taylor: You know what?
Amelia just came to
take the kids. Ridge and I will join you.
Finn: Okay. Thanks.
[ Beep ] Where are you, steffy? Covid-19.
[ Finn sighing ]
Taylor: There he is, finn.
Finn: Oh, hey. Yeah. Still no sign of steffy. Uh–
Ridge: We can go over here and–
Flavia: Uh. Finn. You are alive.
Ridge: Uh, this is flavia. Steffy’s therapist.
Flavia: Excuse-moi. I have to give you a hug.
Finn: Okay. Oh.
[ Flavia laughs joyously ]
Flavia: I– I never thought I would say this, but it’s a real pleasure to meet you. Steffy’s going to be over the moon to see you. I send you some, uh, places where she could be taking a walk. Yes. Recently, she’s been taking very long walks by herself.
Finn: Yeah, without her phone. I mean, I’ve been trying to get a hold of her.
Flavia: She has very deep depression right now. She really doesn’t care about anything else but her kids and– all she wants to do is be with you.
Finn: I gotta see her.
Ridge: Well– well, let’s split up. We have a better chance of finding her.
Flavia: Okay. You can go to the promenade. I’m going to do the port and you take the square.
Finn: Okay.
Flavia: I’ll show you.
Taylor: Yeah, yeah.
Flavia: Yes.
Sheila: I– I can’t let them find me.
Deacon: Sheila, you can’t run forever.
Sheila: I’m going to do whatever it takes to stay our of prison.
Deacon: “Whatever it takes.” That’s the exact attitude that keeps getting you into trouble.
Sheila: No, I wouldn’t be in any of this trouble if steffy hadn’t come after me. I– I– I– I tried. I tried. I– I– walked away and she just wouldn’t stop–
Deacon: You don’t get it. You are not the victim here.
Sheila: I’m not saying that I am.
Deacon: What really happened in that alley that night, I want to know. What? Did– did steffy call you out or something for manipulating brooke into drinking? Then maybe, what? You were afraid that finn would shut you out if he found the truth–
Sheila: I never wanted to hurt steffy–
Deacon: No. But then you shot her to shut her up.
Sheila: I had no choice. By that time, it was either her or I was going away for the rest of my life.
Deacon: She has two little kids. Little kids. And you were okay with taking away their mother? You were taking both of hayes’ parents away?
Sheila: But I didn’T.
Deacon: What the hell were you doing with a gun in the first– you know, don’t even answer that. I don’t even want to know. The less I know, the better. Besides, nothing you say is going to change the fact that you killed your son.
Sheila: But I didn’T. That’s the beauty in all of this, deacon. I didn’t kill my son. My son… he’s alive.
[ Sheila laughing quietly ]
[ City din ]
Finn: Will you marry me?
Will you be my wife?
Steffy: I can’t believe it!
We’re getting married.
Finn: And we’re having
a baby.
As a sign of my love
and commitment to you.
Woman: Excusez-moi.

Steffy: Sorry.

Steffy: No.
Woman: Is there anything I can do to help?
Steffy: There’s no one who can help me.
Woman: Maybe there is.
[ Bell tolling ]

Deacon: So li smuggled finn’s body out of the hospital to keep him alive.
Sheila: Yes! Isn’t that magnificent. I have been with finn this whole time.
Deacon: And you and li were hiding him, letting everyone think that he was still dead.
Sheila: No, li was trying to protect him.
Deacon: Yeah. From you?
Sheila: No, we were both taking care of him. We wanted to be certain he was fully recovered.
Deacon: This is– this is just– it’s surreal. This is too weir– I mean, it’s extraordinary, but I–
Sheila: I know. I know. It was– it was… it was for me, too. I– I broke out of prison thinking that I was going to see finn’s grave. And what I got was the biggest relief of my life: More time with my boy.
Deacon: I mean, this is absolutely unbelievable. Finn’s mother brought him back to life.
Sheila: Yes. Yes. I mean, I had to shock his heart several times but–
Deacon: I was talking about li. By the way, has anyone bothered to tell steffy that her husband’s alive?
> Sheila: Well– well, finn is possibly being reunited with her right now. I mean, that’s– that’s all I’ve ever wanted for my son, is his happiness.
Deacon: Oh, yeah, of course. So where does that leave you now? I– I mean, I would love to have a place with– with finn and hayes in their lives, but obviously that’s not going to happen, deacon. I’m a fugitive.
Deacon: So you came here? Sheila, for god’s sake, I am on probation.
Sheila: How’s that going for ya? Okay, look. I’m sorry. But you’re all I’ve got. I need your help.
[ Deacon sighing ]
Ridge: It’s not that big a place.
Taylor: No. All right, I’m going this way. Steffy!
Ridge: Excuse me. Hi. I’m sorry. Have you seen her anywhere?
Woman: No.
Ridge: Yeah, you sure?
Woman: Yeah.
Ridge: Okay, thank you.
Woman 2: Oh, my god. Is– is it ridge?
Finn: Oh, steffy, where are you?
[ Bell tolling ] At metro by t-mobile… you can save more.
Sheila: Please. Let me stay. Deacon, I promise I’ll never ask for a favor again.
Deacon: Sheila. You’re asking me to harbor a fugitive. I– I can’t–
Sheila: I promise that you are not going to get drug into this. They’re never even going to know I was here. I– I just, I– I just need a place to stay–
>. Deacon: You know, I’m barely out of prison myself. I’m on probation. What do you want me to do? You want me to give up my freedom for you?
Sheila: If I go back out there, I’m going to get caught. And they’re going to throw the book at me and then that’ll be it. I’ll never see the light of day, again. So yes, I made mistakes. I could have killed someone. But I didn’T. No one died. Steffy and finn, they’re– they’re doing fine.
Deacon: You got lucky. That doesn’t mean you get a free pass.
Sheila: I know, I– I know. I know I deserve to be punished for my actions. But all those weeks, thinking that I murdered my son, that was torture enough. And it tore me up inside. You know that finn means everything to me. And you know that I wanted steffy to accept me. I’ve– I’ve never been able to connect with people, deacon. And I felt like I was getting close to taylor. Like, I actually had a chance to be part of the family. A family that you destroyed.
Sheila: No! Finn is alive. He and steffy have been given the gift of a new beginning. This event, this horrible, awful tragedy is– it’s going to bring them together and make them even better. It’s going to give them a bond that can’t be broken. And they will heal. And they’re gonna get to see their children grow up.
Deacon: Do you– do you even hear yourself? A gift? So what happens now, sheila? You just– you just keep on cruising like nothing ever happened?
Sheila: I don’t– I don’t know. I don’t– I don’t– I don’t know what the future holds for me. I just know I can’t go back behind bars because I’m not going to survive there. Please, deacon. I know I’m asking a lot. But– but, I need you.
[ Banging ]
Baker: Open up, sharpe. We’re looking for sheila carter. Open up.
[ Banging ] Sharpe. It’s lapd.
Sheila: Please, don’t–
Deacon: What am I gonna do?
Sheila: Please, no.
Baker: Open up.
Deacon: I– what the–
[ Banging ]
Taylor: Ridge? I’m so frustrated. I can’t find her anywhere.
Ridge: Maybe try the harbor one more time.
Taylor: That’s a good idea. I just pray finn can find her.
Finn: Steffy!
Steffy: What? [ Panting ]
Finn: Steffy! It’s me! I found you! Steffy, it’s me. It’s really me.
[ Steffy whimpering ]
Finn: Honey, I’m alive! I love you so much!
Steffy: No, this can’t be– no, no, no. Finn! Oh, my god. [ Sobbing ]
[ Bell tolling ]
Steffy: Oh, finn. How? How?
