Sheila: Finn. What– what is this? What have you done?
Li: You need to leave now.
Sheila: Finn’s alive. My son is alive.
Ridge: Sheila has escaped. This– this is happening. She’s out there somewhere.
Taylor: R– ridge, what if she tries to track steffy down? What– what if she tries to find her?
Ridge: All right, we’ve got to tell her right away.
Eric: You think I’m overdoing it?
Quinn: At the club? Yes. I– I mean, exercise is good. I support you being active, uh, but not if it’s too much.
Eric: Well, why would you think that? And why would you think that so much to involve my daughter? Where is all this concern coming from?
Bridget: Dad, quinn just tells me that you’re– been spending a lot of time at the club.
Quinn: Yeah, way more than I think is normal.
Hope: So you want me to just keep it a secret? This affair that you’re having.
Donna: Wait. Affair? Affair doesn’t really sound like an accurate description here.
Hope: Oh, really? Because I– did I not just see the two of you kissing?
Donna: Yes. Yes, but it– it’s not even about that. It– it’s about love and joy and connection. And it– it’s nothing sordid, it’s just– it’s just two people that are trying to find comfort with one another and– and– and–
Hope: And having an affair. Yeah, I get it.
Donna: Don’t say anything, please?
Eric: I can assure you both there’s nothing to worry about. All this time I’ve been spending at the, uh, at the club, I mean, just the opposite. It’s energized me. It’s made me happy.
Quinn: And bridget and i are– are pleased to hear that. It’s just, um, you know, you’re not twenty years old anymore.
Eric: Yes, I’ve noticed that.
Bridget: Dad.
Quinn: Well, is– is there– is there something else that you’re doing there? Maybe something more strenuous?
Donna: I hate the way that you’re looking at me.
Hope: I am trying to see your side of things, but–
Donna: Do you think I’m happy about these circumstances? No, no. Never in a million years did I think that I’d be sneaking around with eric. Yes, I– I have daydreamed about us reconnecting. But as a loving couple, as– as his wife.
Hope: But you aren’t his wife, quinn is.
Donna: But– but it turns out that when he wants to be happy, or be at ease, he turns to me. Because that’s the kind of love that we share.
Taylor: Ridge. Let’s think about this for a minute, okay? I– do we really need to call steffy right now? I– she just got there. I don’t wanna stress her out.
Ridge: Sheila’s gonna do everything in her power to get to hayes.
Zende: What’s going on?

Eric: No, no I’ve done both, but I’m always very careful with that, sure.
Bridget: Okay. Do you have any tightness in your chest?
Eric: No.
Bridget: Any shortness of breath at the club?
Eric: Uh, no, dr. Forrester, what is all this? What’s all this concern about? Why are you asking me all these questions?
Bridget: Oh, dad, we both just want you to be around as long as possible. And everything that I’m hearing you say, sounds like you’re doing it right to make sure that happens. I’m glad to hear you say that you’re so happy and that you feel vital. I think these visits to the club are really good for you, as a doctor and more importantly, as your daughter. I, um, I’m glad to see you have such a interest in fitness.
Eric: I’ve always tried to make room for that, of course. And now I’m– I’m reaping the benefits.
Bridget: Good. Then I think I can encourage you to keep it up.
Donna: We didn’t plan on– on getting into this situation, I– I just want him to be happy, you know, it– it doesn’t even have to be with me. But quinn, she isn’t doing it. That– that much is clear.
Hope: So eric’s always been the one for you, then?
Donna: I’ll never feel about another man, the way I feel about eric. I mean, I know that he’s married to quinn, but– deep down, I’ll always believe that the woman that he belongs with is me.
Ridge: No, baker doesn’t know anything at this point, that except maybe a guard helped her.
Zende: This is crazy.
Taylor: It’s horrifying, knowing she’s out there.
Ridge: Well, she won’t be out there long. They’re gonna find her, put her behind bars. She shot our daughter. She killed her own son.
Sheila: He’s alive.
[ Machines beeping ] You’re alive. Oh my god. Finn, I– I didn’t kill you.
Li: Thanks to me.
[ Machines beeping ]
Sheila: How did you do it?
Li: I don’t owe you an explanation.
Sheila: I saw him die, li. I saw the life leave his body. I damn well would’ve done something if I thought there was a chance.
Li: The hell you would have. You want to protect yourself.
Sheila: Just tell me.
Li: His pulse came back in the ambulance. I was at the end of my shift, when they came in with finn.
Sheila: No, but I went– I went to the hospital. They didn’t say anything a– about you.
>>Li: You went to university. That’s where they brought steffy. They brought finn to where I work. The doctors, they were ready to give up on him. Take him off of life support. That’s when I took over.
Sheila: You did all of this on your own? Without anyone else? You– you just let all of us believe that he was dead? Even steffy. Oh, my god. You’re even crazier than I am. What can I du with less asthma?
Eric: It’s very nice to know that my daughter is a doctor, and she’s hanging around, watching out for me. Thank you.
Bridget: Of course, daddy. Oh, I love you. Just don’t take any risks with your health. When in doubt, just pick up the phone and call me.
Eric: All right. All right.
Bridget: Okay. Unfortunately, I’ve got a huge day. I’ve got to go, but–
Quinn: Okay. Um, well, let me walk you out.
Bridget: Bye.
Eric: Bye, sweetie.
Quinn: Uh, thank you for not saying anything about me monitoring his heart rate.
Bridget: Oh, yeah, of course. I know my dad and his sense of pride. I don’t think he would wear it if he knew.
Quinn: Yeah.
Bridget: I like that you can keep your eye on him, so please let me know if you see another spike in his heart.
Quinn: I will. And don’t worry, I’ll– I’ll be watching him like a hawk.
Hope: If eric were available, I would be thrilled for you. But as long as he is still married–
Donna: Say no more. I– I understand. I mean your saw us kissing, and that’s a shock. But the thing is that, uh, it feels like I’m– I’m reconnecting with this long lost friend. A friend who just happens to be my soul mate. A friend that still gives me butterflies, every time he kisses me.
Hope: Oh. Well, well I admit it. It’s sweet to hear you talk about it like that. And who knows, maybe he would be happier with you, but, I mean, quinn still loves him in her own way. And– I don’t know, I, uh, look, I don’t condone the way that you’re going about this, but everyone deserves honesty. Everyone deserves joy. Everyone deserves to feel love and respected.
Donna: Yes. Yes.
Ridge: Good, that’s what I need, thank you. Talk to charlie, tell him I’ll be right down, please.
Zende: Okay, you got it.
Taylor: Okay, steffy is beside herself.
Ridge: Of course she’s beside herself. She’ll take precautions. She’s smart.
Taylor: Oh, my god. We need to call li.
Li: You’re calling me crazy? Me? After what you did.
Sheila: How many times do I have to tell you it was an accident?
Li: Hah. You were trying to kill steffy. You pulled the trigger. That was no accident.
Sheila: I would never– I would never intentionally hurt finn. Never. And now I have a chance. I have a chance to make it up to him. Oh. Thank you, li. Thank you for keeping him alive. What does he remember? What does he say when he’s conscious?
Li: He hasn’t woken up.
Sheila: He should be in a hospital.
Li: No.
Sheila: Just look at this place. You can’t give him the adequate medical attention that he ne–
Li: I have. And I will continue.
Sheila: Take him to a hospital. Now.
Li: Finn stays right here. With me. My sister’s managing a lot,
Quinn: Um, hey, uh, I’m going to head back to the office. I’ve a few things I need to finish up.
Eric: What?
Quinn: But I’ll be home in time for martinis.
Eric: Okay, that sounds good.
Quinn: Um, you’re not upset with me for reaching out to bridget, are you?
Eric: No, no, not at all. I was surprised. A little, but not upset, no.
Quinn: Oh, I’m always going to be concerned about you. You’re my loving, loyal husband.
Eric: Yeah.
[ Eric sighing ]
Donna: What are you saying? Are you saying that you think eric and I should– should get back together?
Hope: Maybe, it is a possibility, but that is as far as I will go, given that he is still married to quinn.
Donna: Okay. Well, I appreciate you not calling me a homewrecker.
Hope: Do you know who my mother is?
[ Chuckling ]
Hope: I’m kidding. Obviously, look, I still want to go talk to eric, though. Well–
Donna: Okay, uh–
Hope: Just to see where his head is at in regards to, you know, his marriage, how he feels about you. If this really is about, you know, the connection you share. If it’s in reaction to what happened between carter and quinn.
Donna: Well, I– I don’t know how he could put that behind him. I mean, they– they fell for each other hard. And– and what, is he supposed to just assume they can just turn off their feelings?
Hope: Oh, if the feelings are true, it’s hard to bottle those up, and just put them away. Uh, things like that take time and sometimes, they never go away at all. Look, I know better than most that everybody is deserving of a partner whose heart is theirs’s, and theirs’s alone, and that includes you.
Ridge: First thing I need to do is call brooke, why are we calling li?
Taylor: Because sheila was furious with li for not letting her see finn’s body. Come on, ridge, who knows what sheila’s going to do next?
Ridge: You’re right. Let’s call li.
[ Dialing ]
[ Phone ringing ]
Sheila: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You’re not taking any calls, especially not from him.
Ridge: Li, hi, ridge forrester calling you, and I’m– I’m sorry, I’ve, uh, I’ve got some bad news. Sheila has escaped. Um, if you see anything or hear anything, please let me know. And please be careful.
Sheila: This isn’t a debate. I am not going to let you put his life at risk.
Li: You get no say on how I care for him. None. All you have to worry about right now is what you’re going to say to the police when they drag you to prison. It’s only a matter of time before you’re back where you belong.
Sheila: Because i killed finn. My son is very much alive.
Li: Doesn’t change what yo–
Sheila: No, no, it does. It changes everything. You know, I came looking for you so that you could show me where my son was buried or– or where you had his ashes so that I could pay my respects, but this, this is something I never expected. That– that you would lead me back to my son and that he’s alive! I didn’t kill you, baby. You are still here, and I have a chance with you. You need to take him to the hospital.
Li: And hand him over to the doctors who felt there was no chance of surviving? No, thank you. Finn had such a promising future. I was so excited for him. Then he met steffy, and the forresters, which brought you to his life, along with pain and suffering. I haven’t had been nursing him back to life, day and night, for you to just swoop in here and tell me wha–

[ Li grunting ]
