Alex wanted Stephanie to come over so he could tell her about Joy’s paralysis. He said the paralysis was probably temporary, but the recovery is going to take longer than they thought. Stephanie didn’t want him to touch her. She said she felt like his last priority. Alex tried to convince Stephanie that she wasn’t his last priority, but she walked out. At the pub, Brady told Xander and Sarah about the clues on Stefano that led to Dominic buying the Kiriakis mansion. Outside of the pub, Kayla told Steve that the hospital would be in receivership with the state without a buyer. Brady came out and told Steve about Dominic. Stephanie showed up to talk to Kayla about Joy. She told Kayla that she didn’t think Joy was paralyzed. Kayla told Stephanie that Joy’s paralysis was impossible to fake. Stephanie told her that she was afraid that her marriage wouldn’t survive a continued separation.
In the town square, Steve told Brady would send him everything the ISA had on Dominic who was on their radar. He told Brady that Dominic didn’t have a criminal record and wasn’t on social media. Steve said Dominic rarely left the island unless he went to Rome. Brady went back to the pub to tell Xander and Sarah what Steve found out about Dominic. Xander wasn’t sure if they should go with the devil they knew (EJ) who would get everything or the devil they didn’t know. Theo went to DiMera to find out why Johnny met with George behind his back. Johnny told him about an anonymous complaint that was brought against DiMera about the coriseal. Theo told Johnny that they had to cooperate with the FDA’s investigation. Johnny said they wouldn’t find anything. Theo said he believed Johnny thought he was doing the right thing for everyone. When Theo was alone, he wrote his letter of resignation.
