Here is what I liked and disliked about Y&R for the week of 3/9/2026 (just my humble opinions, no particular order, just random musings)
Raves: 
I really enjoyed the love and chemistry between Adam and Chelsea during their dinner out at GCAC 3/9/2026 and their scenes on subsequent episodes this week. 
Not liking, but *loving* the brotherly bond between Nick and Adam to go up against and take down the dastardly Matt Clark. Watching the brothers shake hands in unity to find and take Matt down gave me happy chills. I know soaps thrive on family discord, but in this case, given the brothers’ long history of bitterness and animosity, I am happy to see harmony between them. Loved their mutual recognition of how far they’ve come and progressed as brothers.
Nick’s sensitivity, compassion and the concern he expressed to Sharon about Adam having to recall his bad days as Spider in Las Vegas in order to help find the woman who could lead them to Matt’s whereabouts was very touching.
Ditto for Adam’s compassion and desire to use his dark past as Spider in Vegas to help Nick find and deal with Matt. His loved ones are understandably concerned, but Adam has wholeheartedly decided to put helping Nick go after Matt ahead of his own demons.
Billy Flynn ‘s solo performance as his character was making a video for Lily (apologizing for mistakes he’d made and declaring his unwavering love for her) was riveting.
Rants: 
Not liking Phyllis’s one-shoulder-off dress. Not only is it inappropriate for her to be wearing in the office, but even at Society, where it would be fine for attire, it looks like one sleeve is accidentally falling off her shoulder because it’s too large or something, when it’s actually designed to be off the shoulder.
Not liking Phyllis’s attitude either, LOL.
While Sienna and Noah were at Society, sitting and talking about his father and the situation with Matt, her constant hand gestures with all the gaudy costume jewelry rings and dark nail polish were distracting and annoying. Ugh.
The return of Patty Williams … I’ll just say that I hope it’s a short story arc … very short. Watching her seducing a drugged-up Jack was revolting.
