Curtis: I need to get my hands on a sealed police file.

Nikolas: Perhaps it’s time that you told us exactly what you’ve been planning since before you got back in town.

Victor: Maybe you’re right.

Nikolas: You got our full attention. What’s the big plan?

Victor: I’m afraid this conversation is for family only.

Nikolas: We are family.

Victor: Some more so than others.

Taggert: Would you stop? Stop worrying.

Portia: Mnh-mnh-mnh.

Taggert: I mean, Trina’s only a few minutes late. And frankly, I’m glad because it’s gonna give me some time to wrap my head around this — this — this Joss and Cam sex tape. What?

Portia: Well, I don’t actually think that you can call it a sex tape when the people involved don’t know they’re being taped.

Taggert: That would be considered revenge porn. And that is against the law in the state of New York.

Portia: I just think it’s disgusting that anyone would target Trina’s friends in that way. I mean, to me, far too much of our kids’ lives are already on the internet for everyone to see. But to exploit someone’s private moments like that?

Trina: No. You’re trying to see with your own eyes if I’m surviving all this craziness.

Taggert: Well, I mean, since you brought it up, how are you handling this Joss and Cam thing?

Trina: Um, I mean, it’s horrible, but it’s — it’s made me realize I need to be more careful about who I spend my time with.

Spencer: This is a pregnancy test.

Esme: What it is, is none of your business. You want me out of your life? Fine — I’ll go.

Spencer: Esme, wait! What, Spence? What else could you say? Because you’ve already broken my heart.

Jordan: This is Jordan Ashford. Give me a call back when you can. Thank you.

Dante: Hey, Commissioner, may I talk to you for a minute?

Jordan: What’s up, Detective?

Dante: I was talking to ADA Rodriguez about possible charges being filed against whoever put that video of Cameron and Josslyn on the internet.

Jordan: Okay, I’m gonna stop you right there, Dante.

Cameron: Ah, shoot. Are we really that late?

Josslyn: That’s weird. [ Chuckles ] I thought Professor Khan would still be in here so we could at least explain the situation.

Cameron: Do you think we’re the first to use the “still talking to the police” as an excuse for missing class?

Josslyn: You know, I think Professor Khan has heard every excuse in the book.

Cameron: You were a little quiet on the ride here from PCPD.

Josslyn: Well, I was — I was just thinking about my interview with Detective Lopez, going over my statement in my head, making sure I covered everything. Hey, why don’t you check to see if Professor Khan’s in her office?

Cameron: Well, we don’t have to leave just yet. We’re not in a rush. We could spend a few more minutes here.

Josslyn: Why? What’s wrong?

Cameron: Well, I just think, you know, things are a little bit chaotic out there. We could spend a sec here while everyone’s getting situated in their classes.

Josslyn: Oh, so there’s fewer people watching us walk down the hall?

Cameron: Okay, you got me.

Josslyn: Do you really care what random people think?

Cameron: Look, I-I don’t want to care, alright? But this is our first day back on campus since the video got out. It’s obvious that people are talking about us.

Josslyn: About us? Or mostly about me?

Sonny: Look, I know that you had a big part in taking down Cyrus Renault when I was living in Nixon Falls. And, um… I kind of behaved badly at The Savoy a couple of months ago.

Curtis: Sonny, don’t — don’t even worry about it, man. I know you were going through a lot.

Sonny: You do?

Curtis: Well, yeah. You were trying to save your marriage. I know after, uh… my marriage with Jordan blew up over a year ago, I know exactly how difficult that is.

Sonny: Well, I appreciate that. So t-t-this favor, you — you want me to get you — a — a sealed arrest record? Before I go any further, who’s it for?

Curtis: It’s for my “presumed dead but now very much alive” father.

Portia: So, tell me more. Tell me more. [ Chuckles ] About who you’re going to allow to be a part of your life, and most importantly, who you’re not.

Trina: [ Sighs ] Well, um… I visited Spencer at Spring Ridge, and I made it very clear to him that I can’t be friends with him as long as he’s involved with as Esme. And Spencer sided with Esme, which definitely clarifies things and frees me from any impulse to worry about him.

Portia: I’m so proud of you.

Taggert: Good for you for standing up for yourself.

Trina: But it’s hard because… I still think he’s a good person deep down.

Taggert: I’m — you know, I-I don’t know about that. I mean, I remember way back when, when Nikolas was a few years older than Spencer, he was dating my sister, Gia, and, well, I — I just don’t think the Cassadines strike me as particularly deep, that’s all.

Portia: So, Trina, why don’t you tell me what class you’re headed off to? [ Chuckles ]

Trina: Um, social history through art.

Portia: Oh. Are Joss and Cam in that class, too?

Trina: No, but even if Joss was, she wouldn’t be there. She hasn’t been to any of her classes since…

Taggert: I know about the video, Trina. Your mother told me all about it. So how is Joss handling all this?

Trina: Um, I’m not sure. She’s been staying at her mom’s rather than living in her dorm. It’s like Joss needs to hide out for a while, which I totally understand. So I’m just trying to give her her space.

Portia: If I were in Josslyn’s position, I would not want space. Honey, I’d want my best friend.

Trina: Joss hasn’t texted me in a while, and I figured, if she wants to talk to me, she’ll let me know.

Cameron: Us, you — I-it doesn’t matter. We’re in this together.

Josslyn: We were in the video together, and we both had a private moment stolen from us, Cam. But come on, the fallout is different. Okay? It shouldn’t be, but it is because I’m being slut-shamed all over the place. People are making fun of me. They’re critiquing my body. They’re judging me for even having sex at all. And you “tapped that.” And I’m some tramp who just “gave it away.”

Cameron: Joss, I’m sorry.

Josslyn: No, it’s nothing that you did. It’s just — it’s the way things are. And I know that the only way out is through. And I just have to face it down, and I have to keep moving forward. And trust me, that’s absolutely what I’m going to do, but I just hate that I have to deal with something that’s so ugly, so sexist, and just blatantly unfair.

Cameron: I know, and I’m sorry. It is unfair. I just — I saw how you reacted when the people out there were whispering.

Josslyn: [ Sighs ] I thought I handled that pretty well.

Cameron: Well, to anyone else, they wouldn’t have noticed, but, Joss, I know you. I know when you are confident and when you’re only pretending to be.

Josslyn: Well, I like how well you know me. Oh, and I hate how this bothers me so much, because it shouldn’t! We didn’t do anything wrong.

Cameron: I-I know, but this is why I didn’t want to do the invader article.

Josslyn: Oh, well, we needed to go on record. I mean, we needed to state that we did not record that or post it ourselves. And it’s also really important for people to know how invasive this entire experience was. And, you know, we could help other victims of revenge porn.

Camron: I agree with everything you’re saying. It’s just I-I can’t bear to see you get hurt.

Josslyn: Well, you don’t have to protect me. It’s not your job. I didn’t ask for any of this, but here we are. And I’m not going to hide.

Cameron: Look, I didn’t say that we have to hide, but we don’t have to be in the spotlight, either.

Josslyn: Why didn’t you say this before?

Cameron: I did say that.

Josslyn: Then what are you saying? That this is my fault now?

Nikolas: As far as I am concerned, Ava is more my family than you are, Uncle Victor. Anything you have to say, you need to say to both of us.

Victor: I’m sorry, but…no.

Ava: That’s okay. It’s fine, really. In a backhanded way, it’s — it’s sort of a compliment, isn’t it? You can fill me in later, darling. I’ll be at the bar.

Spencer: I would never intentionally hurt you, Esme. You know that.

Esme: Yeah, like you know that I’m not the one responsible for that disgusting video of Joss and Cam?

Spencer: I’m not talking about the video! Why do you have a pregnancy test?!

Esme: Why do you think?! We made love that night before you went to Spring Ridge, remember?

Spencer: [ Sighs ] You’re pregnant?!

Dante: Revenge porn is a crime in New York. What’s the problem?

Jordan: I’m well aware of that, Dante. An investigation into the video of Josslyn and Cameron has been opened. You can provide backup support as needed, but that’s it.

Dante: Why can’t I be the lead? Josslyn Jacks is your stepsister. I just can’t risk the defense casting doubt on any information you may receive.

[ Indistinct conversations ]

Dante: Who my father marries shouldn’t disqualify me as an investigator, Jordan.

Jordan: You need to take a step back from this one.

Dante: [ Sighs ]

Jordan: And any evidence you do uncover, you need to notify Detective Lopez immediately.

Dante: Mm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. By the book. Got it.

Jordan: I understand your frustration, Dante. But take it from me — nothing good comes from breaking the rules. Been there, done that, and it didn’t end well.

Curtis: My dad, who I thought was dead most of my life, suddenly shows up in Port Charles a few months ago. Now, you would think that he would come back ready to answer some questions, but, instead, he’s been extra cagey about what happened and where he’s been. Says he wants to start over. I had Drew do a deep dive into his background, and that prompted Marshall to admit to me that he has a criminal record, and it’s been sealed.

Sonny: With all due respect, why is it your business?

Curtis: Normally, it isn’t. I mean, we all have a past that we’re not proud of, including me.

Sonny: But you want me to get sealed information on your father?

Sonny: I have reason. Marshall’s been lying to me.

Victor: I’ve spent too many years preparing for this to let it all fall apart now.

Nikolas: Let what fall apart? I still have no idea what you are talking about.

Victor: Time was, the Cassadines were among the most powerful families on this planet.

Nikolas: [ Chuckles ] That’s a little exaggerated, wouldn’t you say?

Victor: No, I wouldn’t say. Heads of state would routinely line up to do business with us. We were true power players on the international stage, and it is high time this family reclaimed that influence.

Ava: Hey, good evening.

Portia: Hi.

Ava: Will, uh, Trina be joining you?

Portia: She’s already come and gone. [ Chuckles ] She had to get to class.

Taggert: Yeah. We were lucky to get 10 minutes with her. It — it amazes me how that girl races through life.

Portia: -Uh-huh.

Ava: -Yeah. The energy of youth.

[ Cellphone ringing ]

[ Laughter ]

Taggert: Oh. Oh, I’m — I’m sorry. I need to get this.

Portia: Okay. Join me, please.

Ava: Yeah. Thanks. Just for a minute, though. I’m actually here for a — a family celebration.

Portia: Oh.

Ava: It’s just taking a little bit for everyone to arrive.

Portia: Well, what’s the big celebration?

Ava: Spencer’s release from Spring Ridge.

Portia: Ah. Forgive me if I don’t find that to be a reason to celebrate.

Ava: Do you know I agree with you? But it’s for Nikolas’s sake. I’m playing nice.

Portia: Hmm. Better you than me.

[ Both chuckle ]

Ava: Make no mistake, though, it’s gonna be, um, pretty difficult. Especially when Spencer starts to work at the gallery for restitution. It helps, though, that he won’t be answering to me directly. Trina will be supervising him.

Portia: Hm, no. No. That’s not gonna happen.

Spencer: You’re pregnant?! Why didn’t you say anything?

Esme: When was I supposed to tell you — before or after you called me a monster?

Spencer: Esme, please.

Esme: For the record, I haven’t taken the test yet. But I am late. I kept waiting and waiting to get my period, but after ten days, I finally chalked up the nerve to go buy a test.

Spencer: You thought that you might be pregnant for over a week, and you didn’t say anything?

Esme: It was your last week in prison. I thought you had enough to worry about without the possibility of becoming a father.

Spencer: Well, let’s find out. You need to take that test — right now!

Cameron: I don’t want to fight.

Josslyn: I don’t want to fight, either.

Cameron: Okay. Well, then, we just have to remember that we’re — we’re in this together.

Josslyn: Yes, we are. And there’s no reason to hide in here, okay? So let’s go.

Trina: Oh. Hi.

Josslyn: Hi, Trina.

Trina: So, it’s been a few days since we’ve seen each other.

Cameron: Which is pretty weird, right?

Trina: Right. So, um, how are you guys doing?

Josslyn: Hanging in there.

Cameon: So, uh, class is over. What brings you here?

Trina: Um, I’m — I’m looking for Professor Khan.

Cameron: Professor already left.

Trina: Oh. Okay, well, I got to get back to my next class.

Josslyn: Trina, wait. This is crazy.

Trina: It is, right? I miss you guys so much.

Josslyn: We miss you, too.

Sonny: How do you know your father’s lying to you?

Curtis: I had Drew go ahead with the background check.

Sonny: Yeah?

Curtis: He found some information… that made me question Marshall’s account of where he’s been all these years. Look, I, uh — I’m all for one’s right to privacy, but when you start lying to me, I need to know why.

Marshall: I’ll have that back now.

Sonny: See you soon.

Sonny: I’m sorry, I-I can’t help you.

Portia: I think that Spencer is a bad influence on Trina. And I know that you care about her, which is why I’m asking you to reconsider making Trina Spencer’s supervisor. I mean, can’t someone else do it?

Ava: W-when I spoke with Trina about it, she seemed fine working with Spencer.

Portia: Well, things change. Really? I suggest you check in with Trina and see how she’s currently feeling about Spencer.

Jordan: Don’t get me wrong — I’ve done questionable things in the past when my own family was involved. I learned my lesson the hard way. And it’s because of that experience that I refuse to bend the rules again. It’s a very slippery slope.

Dante: I know, Jordan. And I don’t want to compromise the case, but I’m concerned for Cam and Joss and what they’re going through, and I want to be able to help them.

Jordan: I feel the same, but Josslyn and Cameron are doing okay, and Detective Lopez said their statements were clear and very helpful.

Dante: I don’t want this slipping through the cracks.

Jordan: It’s not going to slip through the cracks. Josslyn and Cameron are victims of a crime. The perpetrator’s not getting away with it.

Trina: I hope Cam knows he didn’t have to leave us alone.

Josslyn: Well, you know Cam — he’s just super considerate, and I am in desperate need of some girl time, so…

Trina: Me too. Did you get my text?

Josslyn: No. When did you send it?

Trina: When the video came out. I just… I wanted you to know I was thinking about you.

Josslyn: Oh, you know, I got so many pervy messages that day, I just kind of started deleting them without even looking, and…

Trina: yeah.

Josslyn: …I — I must have accidentally deleted yours, too.

Trina: That explains that, then.

[ Both chuckle ]

Josslyn: Did you get my text?

Trina: I did, yeah. But all it said was that you were staying at your mom’s house, and then I didn’t hear anything else.

Josslyn: Well, I didn’t hear anything else from you, either. Why didn’t you text me again?

Trina: When you didn’t respond to my first text, I just figured you needed space and…

Josslyn: Well [Scoffs] Space from the world, absolutely. But space from you? Never. I mean, you should know that.

Trina: How? You didn’t come to the dorms. You didn’t respond back to my text.

Josslyn: Well, I explained that.

Trina: Yeah, I get it now, but then… I thought you didn’t want to hear from me.

Josslyn: Why wouldn’t I want to hear from you?

Trina: You know how my brain works. When I don’t get information, my brain makes up crazy scenarios, and… the longer the silence was, the crazier they got.

Josslyn: Like what?

Trina: I thought — I thought Esme got to you. And you believed that I was behind the video.

Esme: I’m not taking this test now.

Spencer: Why not?

Esme: Because. I need to get out of here! I can’t stand to look at you one more minute! If Laura hadn’t kept me here, I would have been long gone.

Spencer: Without telling me that you might be pregnant?!

Esme: Stop making this about you, Spence! It’s my body!

Spencer: It is your body. But if you’re pregnant, it is my baby, too.

Esme: [ Laughing ] Really? Are you going to grow out of your clothes?! Are you going to have morning sickness?! Are you going to grow a person inside of you for 9 months?!

Spencer: Come on. Esme. We are getting way ahead of ourselves. We don’t even know if you are pregnant. I mean… …we used protection. [ Breathes sharply ]

Esme: Which isn’t 100% effective. No one likes to talk about that, but it’s the truth.

Spencer: Alright.

Esme: God. [ Voice breaking ] What am I gonna do with a baby? I’ve never even taken care of a dog.

Spencer: We don’t even know there is a baby, okay?

Esme: [ Sniffles ]

Spencer: Which is why you need to take the test.

[ Knock on door ]

Spencer: Ignore the door.

Cameron: Uh, hi. I’m sorry. Is this a bad time?

Esme: No, I was just leaving.

Spencer: Uh, no. Esme, we need to talk!

Esme: My body, my choice, Spence.

[ Door slams shut ]

Cameron: Did she just say…

Spencer: There’s a chance Esme could be pregnant. [ Sighs ]

Esme: [ Sighs ] [ Sighs ]

Curtis: Clarify this for me — you can’t help me or you won’t help me?

Sonny: No, you — you should know the truth, and I could help you, but I — I choose not to.

Curtis: [ Sighs ] Great. Thanks.

Sonny: No, no. [ Stammers ] To me, this is a — a family matter between you and your father. I don’t — I don’t want to get involved.

Curtis: Sonny, I need to know the truth.

Sonny: Well, yeah, I agree with you — you should know the truth, and you should get it through Marshall himself. Hear me out. Your dad’s not a fan of mine. If I get involved, it’s going to make it worse.

Nikolas: That’s it? All of these mentions of some momentous plan, and you’ve just been referring to a business venture?

Victor: Oh. [ Chuckles ] This is no simple business merger, I can assure you. The resources we will gain from a merger with Bronze Hills Holdings will be a significant step towards this family regaining its former power.

Nikolas: I’m not saying it won’t be a financial benefit, because I know it will be. I just expected more.

Victor: Like what?

Nikolas: You made it sound like it would be something…

Victor: Sinister? [ Scoffs ] Like world domination? Yeah, I’m not quite as out there as your grandfather Mikkos was.

Nikolas: I was going to say “criminal.” We’ve both crossed that line in the past.

Victor: True. I’m not one to let arcane laws and petty bureaucracy get in my way. However, right now, I’m focused on building a power base. The question is, do I have your support?

Cameron: Okay. Hold on. Can we back up? Esme had her bags packed. You guys were obviously fighting. Do I want to know what it was about?

Spencer: I accused Esme of recording you and Joss and posting it.

Cameron: Really? Wait. Well, what did she say?

Spencer: She denied it, of course. And then she tried to blame Trina, which is absurd.

Cameron: Completely.

Spencer: I defended Trina, which made Esme furious. We broke up. We had just had the same argument at Spring Ridge, and she stormed out. But I didn’t think that that meant that we were over. Esme decided that we were, and she was almost out the door when I saw that she had a home pregnancy test. Can you believe that she wasn’t even going to tell me?!

Cameron: Wow. Um… that’s a lot.

Spencer: If Esme is pregnant, I’m going to be a father.

Cameron: What are you going to do?

Spencer: I honestly have no idea.

Josslyn: Trina, we both know that it was Esme who posted that video, after she somehow found a way to record me and Cam without our knowledge. It was her! It was all her from the jump. How could you ever think that I could blame you for this?

Trina: It’s just…things got so weird that night at the cabin. That hot toddy… [ Sighs ] …Hit me so hard, I still can’t remember everything that happened. And since that was the night the video was made…

Josslyn: Oh, please. It was Esme. Trina, she has hated me from the second she laid her eyes on me. You know why? Because I could tell that she was psycho. I mean, it was Nelle 2.0 waiting to happen. And that’s why I got so frustrated when she presented you that phony apology at Kelly’s and you — you know, you went along with it.

Trina: [ Breathes deeply ] I owe you a major apology. Esme was all upset because Spencer gave me that art book, and I — I didn’t want to feel like I was taking her boyfriend. Not because of her, but because of me, because I didn’t want to feel like that kind of person. And, also… …I don’t know how I feel about Spencer. But you were right about all of it. Esme is a wack job. And Spencer is just… …blind. But I should be thanking you for calling her out instead of getting all offended.

Josslyn: It’s okay.

Trina: No, no, don’t tell me it’s okay, Joss. You are going through hell, and Esme is trying to blame me for it. She is hateful and horrible. I should have never tried to compromise with her.

Josslyn: Hey. We came to it with two very different experiences, right? You believe in compromise. And most of the time, compromise is a good thing. But it’s not when it comes to Esme, because she sees that, and she takes it as a sign of weakness, and that gives her an opportunity — gives her an opening. That’s why I shouldn’t have even gone on this ski trip in the first place, because Esme pushed so hard for it, so, you know, I should have realized that she had an agenda. [ Sighs ]

Trina: Do you think she always meant to tape you and Cam?

Josslyn: I think that she always meant to hurt us. Not me and Cam, but you and me.

Perez: This file was just delivered. Detective Lopez sent it over. Information on that PCU sex video from the anonymous tip line.

Jordan: Thanks, officer Perez.

Dante: What kind of information?

Jordan: The damning kind. An eyewitness account and a potential perp.

Sonny: Your father has some kind of problem with me ’cause he saw me and TJ in the hospital, and he didn’t like it one bit.

Curtis: Okay. So because my long-lost dad doesn’t like you, that’s why you’re protecting him?

Sonny: I’m not saying “no” for Marshall’s sake. I’m saying “no” for you. I know what it’s like to be in a difficult relationship with your father. I didn’t speak to my dad for years. Everybody tried to intervene. Everybody tried to fix it. But there was only going to be two people who could salvage that relationship — me and my dad. So if you want to know what’s in that — that sealed criminal record, you’re gonna have to go to Marshall.

[ Door opens ]

Taggert: I am so glad we decided to stay and have dinner.

Portia: Mm-hmm.

Taggert: I mean, it’s nice. What is this Trina is telling me about you and Curtis shacking up?

Portia: Shacking up? Really?

Taggert: Mm.

Portia: We are buying a home together. Okay? And it’s out by Queens Point. It’s right on the water. It’s so beautiful.

Taggert: Have you moved in yet?

Portia: No, no. We’re in the process.

Taggert: You know, I — I’m really, really happy that things are going so well for you and Curtis.

Portia: Thank you. That means a lot to me, considering our history.

Taggert: Yeah, you know, the past is long gone, and the only thing is to move forward, right?

Portia: And now that Trina has Spencer in the rearview, things are looking up everywhere. [ Chuckles ]

Taggert: Well, uh, Trina and Joss — they still need to get beyond that speed bump in their friendship.

Portia: Well, I — I mean, I think that they will. They’ve been friends forever. It’s almost like they’re sisters.

Taggert: Yeah, well, me and my sister, we did have some vicious fights back in the day.

Portia: Yeah, but at the end of the day, you and Gia always loved each other.

Taggert: Mm…yeah. [ Chuckles ] Mm-hmm.

Portia: Same goes for Trina and Joss.

Josslyn: Cam’s a guy. He tried to accept Esme for Spencer’s sake, but Esme always saw the both of us as a threat — for different reasons. So she was always going to try and take us down.

Trina: [ Sighs ] It is so great to hear you say this. To see through that, like, hateful, just…

Josslyn: Bitch?

[ Both laugh ]

Josslyn: Yeah.

Trina: Yeah. I — I love the way you hate, Joss.

Josslyn: Oh, it’s — it’s a true talent.

Trina: I just wish I knew what you were thinking.

Josslyn: I should have reached out.

Trina: Why didn’t you?

Josslyn: Oh, well, because this whole situation has just been completely overwhelming. I mean… it’s total public humiliation. Everyone on social media has an opinion on it. I can’t even tell you how many people that I don’t even know have called me some variation of a slut or a whore. But it gets even grosser, because I’ll also see messages or posts calling me hot and asking if Cam and I are exclusive.

Trina: Eww, that — that is so inappropriate!

Josslyn: Yeah. Well, we’re “of legal age” now.

Trina: [ Scoffs ]

Josslyn: I mean, do you remember how happy and excited we were to turn 18 and get to vote?

Trina: [ Breathes sharply ] Yeah. I felt so grown up. [ Chuckles ]

Josslyn: Well, is this the other side of adulthood? I mean, what happened to common decency? It just feels like it’s been open season on me.

Trina: That is beyond awful.

Josslyn: Yeah, it’s horrible. And when I didn’t hear from you — I don’t know — I just — I thought that you were embarrassed to be my friend.

Trina: What?! Never. Never in a million years.

Spencer: You know, the more that I think of it, maybe you had the right idea.

Cameron: What do you mean?

Spencer: Being a virgin for, like, ever.

Cameron: Oh, please. You and the whole world know I’m not a virgin.

Spencer: I seriously doubt that your little, uh, video has been seen by the whole world.

Cameron: You know, you’re a poor excuse for a friend, Spencer.

Spencer: Hey, possible father here, okay? That’s way bigger than some… temporary embarrassment.

Cameron: Maybe for me. But for Joss, it’s so much worse. They’re being absolutely savage to her online. I’m getting virtual high fives while they’re calling her a slut. It — it’s not fair.

Spencer: Yeah, it is awful. I’m really sorry that she’s going through that.

Cameron: So now you believe that Esme’s behind the video?

Spencer: I don’t want to believe it. I mean, Esme has been so good to me.

Cameron: Oh. Works out nicely for you, but what about the rest of the planet?

Spencer: I know that just because Esme is good to me doesn’t mean that she’s necessarily good to everybody else.

Cameron: Look, Spencer, you have to face it — I mean, she’s sneaky and vindictive.

Spencer: And possibly the mother of my child.

Ava: And how’s your arm, Avery? Oh, it hurts? Well, I’m — I’m on my way. I’m coming right home, okay? I’ll see you soon, sweetie. Hi, fellas, I hope you had a nice chat. Um, Avery needs me, so I’m going to go home, okay?

Victor: Well, seeing as the guest of honor is obviously a no-show, I’ll leave with you.

Ava: Okay.

Nikolas: I’m gonna wait for my mother.

Ava: Okay. I’ll see you at home.

Victor: No hard feelings, eh? No, of course not.

Nikolas: [ Sighs lightly ]

Esme: [ Voice breaking ] Mr. Cassadine… …will you help me?

Dante: No, she wouldn’t do something like that, let alone to Cam and Joss.

Jordan: That’s what I thought, too, but every possible tip needs to be checked out.

Dante: Okay, well, then I’ll take care of it.

Jordan: No. I’ll handle this one personally.

Sonny: So, uh, I got to go. So, think about what I said. Good luck.

Marshall: Why were you talking to Sonny Corinthos?

Curtis: He was telling me about a run-in… you two had. Care to explain?

Cameron: Joss and I both gave separate statements to a detective.

Spencer: I’m glad the cops are taking this seriously.

Cameron: Yeah, so am I. Detective Lopez said that whoever’s behind this could spend up to a year in prison.

Spencer: Do you know what that means? It means that my baby could be born in prison.

Cameron: Way to keep it real, Spencer.

Spencer: Hey, it could happen.

Cameron: Maybe you should find out if Esme is actually pregnant before you go shopping for jail baby clothes.

Spencer: Yeah, you’re right. Except I don’t even know where Esme went. [ Sighs ] I really hope that Esme is not pregnant because if she is and if she wants to have the baby… …I’m going to be tied to her for life.

Esme: I was going to try and stay here for the night so that I had a place to, like, get my thoughts together. [ Voice breaking ] And I thought I had enough money to pay for it, but my credit card was declined.

Nikolas: Are you sure that you and Spencer can’t work things out?

Esme: I mean, he said horrible things to me. If that’s really what he thinks of me, I can never be with him again. But what am I going to do? I mean, he was the only guy I’ve ever loved. And what if it turns out that I’M…

Nikolas: you know, I remember being your age, where every argument, it felt like the end of the world. But I am sure once you’ve had a good night’s sleep, things are going to be clearer in the morning.

Esme: [ Sighs ] I have nowhere else to go. Is there any way I could stay with you?

Taggert: Is that the, uh, notorious Esme prince that Trina keeps talking about?

Portia: Oh, you’ve never seen her before?

Taggert: No. First time. Ah. She seems pretty upset. I wonder what the drama is this time.

Portia: Just be glad that we’re not involved. I would bet you anything that that girl is the one behind the video of Joss and Cam. [ Sighs ] I’m just so relieved that Trina is finally out of Esme’s orbit.

Josslyn: Feels so good for things to be back to normal.

Trina: Yeah. And I know you want some distance from the video, but don’t shut me out. You can talk to me about anything.

Josslyn: I know, and I will. It’s so nice to hear that. We are a team, and we always will be.

Trina: Count on it.

[ Footsteps approaching ]

Jordan: Hi, Josslyn.

Josslyn: Oh.

Jordan: Hi, Trina.

Josslyn: Commissioner Ashford. Uh, is there a lead in my case?

Jordan: I’m actually here to see Trina.

Trina: Oh. Uh, I-I’m sorry, but I’m already late for my next class.

Jordan: I’m afraid this can’t wait. I’m going to need you to come down to the station and answer some questions.
