Danny tells Daniel his plans for asking Christine to marry him tonight. Danny tells Daniel that, if Christine says yes, he will be the first person he will call to tell him the news.

Claire and Victoria continue to grieve Cole and pick out an urn for his ashes but decide not to have the memorial service until their family returns from Nice.

Tessa asks Mariah once more to tell her the horrible thing she did on her business trip. Mariah refuses to do it so Tessa thinks it’s time they make their separation permanent. Tessa tells Mariah that she might not be waiting for her after she returns from making the horrible thing right. Mariah remembers the man she met at the hotel bar sleeping on the couch in the hotel room. Mariah takes the pillow from the couch and holds it over the man’s face e. The man screamed twice and then stopped moving.

The entire episode takes place in Nice, France.

Adam arrives after bribing several locals who told him about a dirt road which they use to walk up the mountain to the Chateau since the train tracks and the roads are all washed out. Adam rests a while since he walked all the way up the mountain and then he tells Victor, Nikki, and Nick that he found out Cane has been buying commercial property near Jabot, Newman Enterprises, and Chancellor Industries. Adam also tells Victor, Nikki, and Nick that Cane bought the Athletic Club as well as all the divisions of Chancellor that Nikki sold when she became CEO of the company. Adam says that he has never seen anything like it because it seems like Cane put down a deposit on the entire town. Adam also tells the group that Chelsea saw Cane at Crimson Lights yesterday. Nikki wants to leave because she is worried about Cole, Victoria, and Claire. Victor tells Nikki that Cane has been playing his game and now Cane will be playing his (Victor’s) game.

Cane tells Phyllis that he is going after Abbott Communications, Jabot, and Newman Enterprises because he wants to run a big conglomerate. Cane asks Phyllis if she is willing to betray Billy, Jack, and Nick to prove her loyalty to him. Phyllis tells Cane that she is willing to betray all of them to prove her loyalty to him.

Holden tries to talk to Chelsea and find out information for Cane but Chelsea figures out what he is trying to do and tells him that she thinks everything he has told her is a lie because he is trying to get information for Cane.

Claire and Victoria sit at Cole’s bedside at the hospital. Cole tells Claire that he loves her, is proud of her, and cherishes every moment he had with her. Claire leaves the hospital room because she can’t say goodbye to Cole. Victoria gives Cole a last kiss before he dies. Claire and Victoria begin the grieving process as Claire goes to the park and calls Kyle and leaves him a message that Cole has died.

Tessa talks to Daniel and tells him Mariah moved out of the house and she still hasn’t opened up to her about the horrible thing she did on her business trip. Mariah remembers getting drunk and holding a man’s hand at a restaurant. Mariah also remembers being in a room and holding a decorative couch pillow and crying and asking herself what have I done.

In Genoa City, Adam tells Victoria that Aristotle Dumas has been buying up residential and commercial property around Jabot, Newman Enterprises, and Chancellor Industries. Adam also tells Victoria that he just found out that Aristotle Dumas has recently bought the divisions of Chancellor Industries that Nikki sold when she became CEO of the company. Adam also tells Victoria that Dumas has also bought the Athletic Club which wasn’t officially for sale. Victoria thinks all of this is very suspicious and asks him to keep her updated about any new information he finds out about Dumas and any new real estate purchases.

Victoria also thanks Adam for staying behind and running Newman Media and helping her run Newman Enterprises while everyone is in France so she can be with Cole at the hospital. Victoria tells Adam she thinks Victor would be very proud of him for the way he has stepped up when the family needs him. Victoria tells Adam they brought Cole back to the hospital in Genoa City because the doctors in Chicago can’t do anything more for him. Victoria tells Adam that Cole isn’t responding to any of the antibiotics the doctors have given him.

Adam decides to go to Nice and tell Victor what he has found out about Aristotle Dumas. Victoria gets a call from the hospital telling her that she and Claire need to go to the hospital. Cole awakens and tells Victoria and Claire that they made it in time.

In Nice, France, Devon has a talk with Amanda hoping to make her doubt Cane so maybe she will tell him about Cane’s plan. Amanda doesn’t tell him anything about Cane’s plan. Carter later tells Amanda that Cane will be back in Nice soon because he did everything he wanted to do in Genoa City.

In Genoa City, Cane meets with Holden who is secretly working for him again as his eyes and ears in the city. Cane gives Holden a list of people to contact. The list is Adam, Chelsea, Claire, and Sharon. Cane tells Holden to make friends with these people and see what information he can get from them. Cane asks Holden to tell him Damian ‘s relationship to Lily. Holden tells Cane that Damian has fallen hard for Lily.

Chelsea sees Cane after his meeting with Holden and wonders what he is doing back in town.

In Nice, France Billy signs a contract with Sally that states that she will run Abbott Communications if Cane let’s him be the CEO of Chancellor Industries after the takeover of the company.

Nick and Sharon both warn Phyllis not to go into business with Cane. Phyllis tells Sharon that she can handle Cane and outsmart him. Victor thinks Cane is keeping them all there to buy time for his next move.

Cane tells Lily he did all this because he loves her and wants her back in his life. Lily tells Cane that they are never getting back together because she doesn’t love him anymore. Lily kisses Damian in front of Cane partly because she wants Cane to see she doesn’t love him and partly because she has wanted to kiss Damian for a long time. Cane later warns Damian to stay away from Lily but Damian tells Cane that he doesn’t have to answer him anymore.

In Genoa City, Victoria and Claire are at Crimson Lights getting some tea before they go home to get some fresh clothes and return to Chicago to be with Cole.

Victoria tells Esther and Nate that Cole was diagnosed with Legionnaire’s’ disease which is a very serious form of pneumonia, and he isn’t getting better. Nate calms Victoria down and tells her that once the doctors find the right combination of antibiotics Cole should recover because he doesn’t have any underlying conditions.

Claire has a panic attack in the park and Holden finds her after his run and helps her calm down and start to breathe normally again. Clare and Holden go to the Athletic club and have some vespers and Claire feels better.

In Nice, Kyle tells Audra that they should not do the perfume launch with Cane because, now that they know his true identity, the launch won’t be effective.

Billy tells Sally that he wants to stay because he wants to find out Cane’s agenda.

Lily can’t sleep, so she and Damian stay up most of the night playing poker and go fish until Lily finally decides she needs to get some sleep.

Phyllis finally gets a meeting with Cane. Phyllis tells him she has information that will help him take over Chancellor Industries. Phyllis tells Cane that she wants to run the company once he owns it. Cane tells Phyllis that he has a different idea for Chancellor Industries if he does own it someday, but he might find her a job in his organization.

Adam is in Genoa City telling Chelsea that he found out that Aristote Dumas is buying up real estate close to Newman Enterprises, Jabot, and Chancellor Industries. Adam tells Chelsea that he has been trying to call Victor, but he hasn’t answered his phone. Adam and Chelsea try to figure out why Aristotle Dumas would want all that real estate. Adam hopes he can call Victor tomorrow and warn him about what Aristotle Dumas is planning to do.

Michael, Lauren, Chance, and Abby arrive in Nice, France. Jack and Nikki tell the newcomers that Cane Ashby is Aristotle Dumas. Michael and Lauren tell everyone that they decided to come because Aristotle Dumas called them personally to ask them to go to France.

Devon and Damian want to leave and try to persuade Lily to leave but she tells them that she will make a decision and tell them what she wants to do tomorrow.

Cane tells Victor that he will give him all his companies in exchange for Chancellor Industries. Victor tells him that there is no way he will give up Chancellor Industries.

Jack wants to know why Cane invited him there and he says they will have a private talk later. Michael and Lauren also want to know why he wanted them to be there but Cane says he will tell them more tomorrow.

Cane talks to Chance. Chance assumes he is there to represent the Chancellor family. Cane tells Chance he is there because he needs his detective skills, because he thinks before the trip is over, someone will try to murder him.

The entire episode takes place in Nice, France where Aristotle tells Amanda that he wants to meet with Lily before he reveals his real identity to his other guests. Amanda goes to get Lily and takes her to Aristote’s office. Lily is livid when her ex-husband Cane Ashby (now played by Billy Flynn) tells her that he is Aristotle Dumas and he has been Aristotle for six years.

Lily wants to know why Cane has been lying to her for six years every time they have talked on the phone about the kids. Lily also wonders if the kids know and have been lying for him all this time. Cane assures Lily that Charlie and Mattie don’t know that he is Aristotle because he keeps his two lives separate from each other. Cane tells Lily that he will explain everything to her later after he reveals himself to his guests. Lily is so upset with Cane that she leaves and gets lost in the maze. Lily screams for help and Devon and Damian find her and she tells them that Cane is Aristotle Dumas and he is going to reveal himself to his other guests now.

Cane arrives in the dining room and Victor tells everyone that Cane is Aristotle Dumas and he has been for six years. Cane wants to find out how Victor knew but Victor just smiles and doesn’t say a word.

The entire episode takes place in Nice, France where the guests are getting anxious because there isn’t any cell service anywhere on the Chateau.

Kyle is worried about Cole’s condition but can’t call Claire. Kyle persuades Audra to let him smell the perfume that she is going to present to Aristotle Dumas. Kyle later admits to Jack that the perfume is good.

The Winters family and Phyllis arrive at the Chateau without Abby who will arrive on a later flight because Dominic got sick and she had to make sure he was okay.

Carter talks to his boss Aristotle Dumas who decides to reveal himself now because Jack almost left because he is tired of these games and doesn’t think Dumas is a serious businessman. Aristotle tells Carter to get Victor and Nikki because he needs everyone in the dining room. Aristotle tells Carter to make the call to her because he needs it here since it is time he reveal himself to everyone.

Chelsea is very happy that Adam decided to defy Victor’s orders and not publish any articles smearing Billy on any Newman Media platforms. Adam and Chelsea are ready to face Victor’s wrath when he returns from his trip.

Daniel and Danny have dinner. Daniel tells Danny that he still misses Heather and reaches for her when he is sleeping. Daniel tells Danny that Tessa has been a good friend, and the guitar lessons are helping him to heal. Daniel says that Heather was his person and he feels empty without her. Danny tells Daniel that he is going to ask Christine to marry him again. Daniel tells Danny to not waste any time and be happy with the woman that he loves.

Mariah remembers getting drunk and meeting a man at the hotel’s restaurant while she was on her business trip. Mariah breaks Tessa’s heart by telling her that they have to separate because she needs time to see if she can fix the horrible thing that she has done. Tessa cries and pleads with Mariah to tell her what she did because she has already forgiven her for it. Tessa tells Mariah she knows she cheated on her again and she has already forgiven her because she loves her. Tessa tells Mariah that they can get through anything together. Mariah tells Tessa that what she did is much worse than a one-night stand. Mariah tells Tessa she hopes that someday they can find their way back to each other but for now she must fix this alone.

The entire episode takes place in the French Rivera as the Newmans and the Abbots arrive at Aristotle Dumas chateau.

The Newman family, Billy, Sally, and Sharon arrive first at the chateau. Aristotle’s assistant, Carter, tells the group they must go through a maze and, when they find their way out of the maze, lunch will be waiting for them. Billy and Sally find their way out of the maze first and are instructed to wait until all the guests have found their way out of the maze.

The Abbott family, Kyle and Audra are on the train making their way up the mountain to the Chateau. The Abbott family and Audra arrive at the Chateau where Carter tells them they must find their way out of the maze to find their lunch. The Abbotts and Audra arrive at the dining room where Carter tells them that Aristote is stuck in Oslo and will arrive tomorrow, but he apologizes for the delay.

Phyllis is alone on the train making her way to the Chateau.

Aristote Dumas guests are unaware that Aristotle is somewhere inside the Chateau watching everyone in the dining room via close-circuit TV.

Chelsea tries to bluff Victor by telling him that she thinks Tucker is Aristotle Dumas. Victor tells Chelsea that he admires her for trying but he knows for sure that Tucker is in prison in India. Victor also tells Chelsea that he already knows the identity of Aristotle Dumas but he doesn’t give her a name.

Kyle tells Jack and Diane about Audra’s plan to stage a cosmetics war between Jabot and Vivrante in Nice by seeing which perfume Aristotle would choose for the lady in his life. Jack and Diane think it’s a good idea, but Kyle doesn’t want to go to Nice because he needs to run Jabot while Jack is gone. Diane suggests he call Claire and see what she thinks about him going to Nice for the publicity stunt between Jabot and Vivrante.

Jack and Diane know that Victor is weaponizing Audra to make Jabot and Kyle look bad hoping that Claire will break up with Kyle. Diane wants to protect Kyle from more of Victor’s mind games but Jack thinks that Kyle needs to beat Victor on his own and, if Kyle gets in trouble, they will be there to help him.

Kyle tells Jack and Diane that Claire thinks he should go if it is important for Jabot so Kyle says he is going to Nice with them.

Damian gives Lily a book that was a favorite book of Neil’s that she and Devon thought they had lost since the book wasn’t in Neil’s apartment when they cleaned it out after his death.

Damian tells Lily he isn’t sure he and Holden should work together in the same division at Winters since Holden is upset with him. Damian tells Lily that he isn’t sure they should work together at all at Winters. Holden overhears the last part of the conversation and tells Damian that he only used him until he found his new family and now he doesn’t need him anymore. Holden is hurt and tells Damian that he doesn’t need him anymore. Lily tells Damian to give Holden some time to cool off and then talk to him later.

Holden overhears Audra talking to Victor about Kyle and then figures out that Audra is planning to do something to Kyle on Victor’s orders.

Audra tells Holden to stay out of her life.

Kyle gets a call from Claire telling him that Victor arranged for Cole to see a pneumonia specialist in Chicago so Cole is being transferred to a hospital in Chicago. Kyle tells Jack and Diane the news about Cole and that Claire and Victoria are very worried about his condition.

Audra later invites Kyle to be her plus one to Aristotle Dumas’ party. Kyle says he can’t go because he needs to run Jabot and be close by if Claire needs him since Cole is sick.

Audra thinks they can start the staged competition between Jabot and Vivrante in order to give both companies publicity. Kyle tells Audra that is a good idea but it will have to wait until she returns from Nice because he isn’t going with her. Victor tells Audra she will need to do better with Kyle, or he won’t give her any more money to fund her cosmetics company.

Tessa tells Daniel that Mariah won’t talk to her about what is bothering her and she is really worried about her. Daniel advises Tessa to give Mariah more time until she is ready to talk to her. Sharon tries to persuade Mariah to talk to her or Tessa about what she did on her business trip. Mariah tells Sharon that what she did is so terrible she can’t tell anyone about it. Mariah goes to the park and has a memory of getting drunk at a restaurant and meeting a man. Tessa arrives and interrupts Mariah’s memory. Tessa asks Mariah to tell her what is bothering her, but Mariah tells Tessa that she loves her very much.

Phyllis is excited when she calls Amanda. Amanda tells Phyllis that she got her on the guest list for Aristotle Dumas party.

Cole gets sicker, so Victoria calls the doctor who comes to the house and tells Victoria and Claire that Cole has pneumonia. The doctor tells Victoria that Cole needs to go to the hospital so he can have tests done to confirm the diagnosis.

Victor accepts Kyle’s proposal to sign the contract that says if he breaks Claire’s heart he will pay him five million dollars and leave Genoa City. Kyle signs the contract and tells Victor that he will never need to enforce it because he will never break Claire’s heart. Victor meets Audra who tells him to make sure she and Kyle get invited to Nice and she will take care of the rest.

Holden feels betrayed by Damian because they both lost their jobs with Dumas because of Damian’s interest in Lily and his new family. Holden tells Damian he doesn’t want to work with him at Winters and it’s time to go their separate ways.

Damian asks Amy for help on how to make peace with Holden and restore the relationship with his best friend who is like a brother to him. Amy tells Nate, Audra, and Damian that she has decided to move to Genoa City.

Adam tells Chelsea that he intends to keep Victor focused on Aristotle Dumas so that Newman Media won’t have to run the smear campaign against Billy.

Billy tells Sally that he is going to postpone the launch Abbott communications so they can go to Nice, France and meet Aristotle Dumas. Sally thinks that postponing the launch is unprofessional but since Billy thinks it’s important she agrees to postpone the launch of Abbott Communications.

Phyllis tells Nick that Aristotle Dumas wasn’t in DC when she went with Amanda, so she never got to talk to him. Nick tells Phyllis that the Abbotts, the Baldwins, the Newmans, and the Winters all got invitations to meet Aristotle Dumas in Nice, France.

Phyllis decides to go to Milan and see Summer and maybe go to Nice.

Claire is very worried about Cole, who is getting worse but doesn’t want to go to the doctor.

The entire episode takes place at Nikki’s party. Nick invites Sharon to be his plus one to go to Aristotle Dumas party in France.

Kyle tells Victor he will sign a contract that says if he ever breaks Claire’s heart he will pay him five million dollars and leave town. Victor tells Kyle that he will consider his proposal. Claire asks Kyle what proposal Victor was talking about and Kyle doesn’t say anything except that he hopes Victor won’t refuse the offer.

Cole has trouble breathing and almost falls hurting the party. Victoria wants to take Cole to the hospital, but he insists he just needs to rest. Claire later tells Victor and Nikki that Cole is having trouble breathing and has a high fever. Victor and Nikki worry that Cole might have pneumonia.

Nikki tells Victor that the best birthday present he could give her is to accept Kyle and Claire ‘s relationship. Victor tells Nikki that Kyle offered to sign a contract promising that he won’t break Claire’s heart.

Nikki’s party begins, but before Jack and Diane leave for the party, they get an invitation delivered by messenger. The invitation is from Aristotle Dumas. Aristotle is inviting them to his villa in Nice, France on June 13, 2025. Damian, Lily, Michel, Lauren, Victor, Nikki, Nicholas, and Victoria get the same invitation.

Victor gives Nikki a Ferrari 250 GTO fully restored because she has wanted that car since she was a teenager. Nick gives his mom a box of his and Victoria’s handwritten memories of their favorite moments with her. Victoria makes the first toast to her mom when she and Victor arrive at the Athletic Club.

Damian and Lily have dinner at Society since Lily didn’t want to go to the party. Lily tells Damian about her marriages to Daniel and Cane and how those marriage didn’t work out.

Harrison finally comes up with an idea for a birthday present for his GG Nikki he is going to make her a Newman family tree and write a story for her.

Claire remains optimistic that Nikki’s birthday party will change Victor’s mind about Kyle, and he will approve of their relationship.

Diane is touched when Ashley approves of the changes to the house and John Abbott approves of the changes too. Ashley tells Jack that she wants to take a leave of absence from Jabot so she can go back to work with her therapist in Paris. Ashley tells Jack that her dissociative identity disorder had not returned but this ordeal with Traci had made her question if she has truly recovered from her disorder so she wants to go back to therapy.

Phyllis tells Daniel about her plan to ask Aristotle Dumas if she can run Chancellor Industries when he takes it away from Victor. Daniel doesn’t think that Dumas will let her run Chancellor Industries because he doesn’t know her. Daniel tells Phyllis that he doesn’t want to run Chancellor Industries with her and this time Phyllis finally understands Daniel needs his space. Phyllis heads off to Washington DC determined to persuade Aristotle Dumas to let her run Chancellor Industries.

Claire meets with the party planner to plan the perfect elegant and intimate party.

Traci loves the remodel that Diane did to the Abbott house. She thinks it is even more warm and welcoming then it used to be. Traci tells Jack and Diane that the time she spent in New York helped her to heal a little from her ordeal with Martin but she thinks that she needs to write a novel about it to make the ordeal a part of her past. Traci is confident that this will make her a stronger woman.

Victoria tells Victor that if he does anything to make Kyle look bad in Claire’s eyes she will never forgive him. Victor gives Nikki a music box that plays the first song she played for him on the piano.

Nikki makes Victor promise he won’t attack the Abbotts until after her birthday party. Nikki is very worried about how far Victor’s attack against the Abbotts will go without Michael stopping him.

Lauren tells Michael that they should take a trip to Italy. Michael agrees, but he wonders if he made a mistake quitting his job. Michael worries that there won’t be anyone to stand between Victor and Jack to keep their latest battle from being really bad.

Victor tells Nick that he intends to mount a two-pronged attack against Aristotle Dumas and the Abbotts to protect Chancellor Industries.

Adam tells Chelsea to start his smear campaign against Billy and Jabot. Adam tells Chelsea he tried to stall Victor, but it didn’t work, so now he thinks he needs to create another scandal to distract Victor from Billy and Jabot.
