Hayley talked to Randy and let him know that she experimented for Bill’s birthday. After she got off the phone, she gave him the special cupcake. She told him she wanted to make sure he got everything he deserved. Jacob told Naomi that he surprised her with a spa date. Naomi said she was celebrating her father’s birthday and was upset that he wouldn’t leave her alone about her pregnancy. She said he should have married a woman who would want kids. Jacob said he wanted to marry her. Naomi said she resented him for making her seem wrong for knowing what she wanted. Jacob said he wasn’t doing that. They declared their love for each other, Naomi thought they were at a standstill. She told him that she talked to her mother and thought it would inspire her to be a mother but it didn’t. Naomi said women get all the blame when something goes wrong. Jacob said he would have helped her, but that wasn’t enough for her. Hayley told Bill that she wanted to make his day special. She said Dani made a big deal about his birthday.

Dani and Pam wanted Andre to model for them. They tried to convince him to be one of their models. Chelsea showed up to Bill and Hayley’s for the birthday party. While Bill and Chelsea were talking, Hayley brought out the cupcakes. Bill complained about the cupcakes. Jacob told Naomi that he mind and body were beautiful. He let her know that he never says anything right to her. Naomi let Jacob know that she wanted to make a difference in the world. She told Jacob that she wanted him to leave her alone. At Bill’s party, Hayley thought about meeting Dani and Bill. Dani and Pam tried to convince Andre to be a model. When Pam left, Dani tried to convince Andre to be a model. Naomi went to see Ashley at the hospital. She told Ashley that she might be pregnant. Naomi told Ashley that Jacob originally agreed about not having children but now he wants them. She asked Ashley to give her a blood test and rush the results. Ashley agreed to help her.

It turned out that Hayley wasn’t in love with Bill. She and Randy planned to take Bill for everything he’s worth. Apparently, they’ve scammed people multiple times. They stole so much money from someone that he had to do DoorDash. Hayley admitted that she faked her pregnancy. Randy pulled off the blood she needed to pull off the miscarriage. He pretended to be the man who took her to the hospital. They wanted Dani to look responsible for what happened to her. Randy thought they should skip town with the money and jewelry that Bill gave her. Hayley had something else in mind. She wanted Bill to die so she could have the $10 million life insurance policy. Hayley wanted Randy to come up with something to make it seem like Bill died of natural causes. She planned to give Randy his cut and go to a nice place. Andre and Dani agreed to stay married. Dani wasn’t happy that he agreed to do that after his conversation with Ashley. Andre was worried about the hold Bill had on Dani. Dani told him to move in with her. Andre decided to keep his apartment, but he would spend a lot of time at her place.

Leslie showed up at Ted’s office to satisfy him. She took off her jacket to show him the waitress outfit she wore when they met. Leslie told him that he didn’t need to go after June when he could have her. Kat talked to her mother about forgiving her father. Nicole told her that Ted slept with Leslie again. Kat couldn’t believe how thirsty Leslie was. She stormed out and headed to her father’s office. Kat was there to give him a piece of her mind and found him with Leslie. She went off on Ted for being with Leslie. Leslie wanted to make Nicole think that she slept with Ted again.

While Andre was at Uptown waiting for Dani, Hayley showed up and told him to keep Dani away from her husband. Dani went to Bill’s office to give him a birthday gift. She said she gave it to him early because she thought Hayley was doing something big on his birthday. Hayley told Andre that Dani was obsessed with Bill. Andre wasn’t concerned about what Hayley had to say. He told her that Dani asked him to end their marriage. Bill thanked her with a kiss. Hayley ended up seeing them. Hayley went to see Randy at the casino. She said it was time to deal with Bill. Hayley wanted to take his legs out from under him. Vanessa wanted to know why Joey wanted to break up with her. She said he didn’t mind her laundering his money, but he wasn’t interested in having sex with her. Joey said it was because of her son. She said she didn’t want to end things. While they were making out, Randy walked in on them. Randy said he wouldn’t say anything about their relationship. Tyrell and Samantha were excited that Smitty and Martin were getting back together. When Martin and Smitty were alone, they talked about forming a united front to protect themselves against Joey when he came to collect his debt for getting rid of Kenny. At family dinner, Smitty told Samantha that he didn’t have any to be concerned about June and supported them getting to know her. Later on, Smitty admitted to Martin that he was still nervous about June getting close to Samantha and Tyrell.

Leslie arrived at Orphey Gene’s. June spotted her and realized that she would be difficult. Ted arrived, and they stopped talking. Leslie watched them interact with each other. She warned June to stay away from her man. Leslie warned her that things don’t go well for people who stand in her way of getting what she wanted. June informed her that she wasn’t afraid of her. After he talked to June, Ted spotted Samantha and Chelsea. He talked to them about the success of the purse line. He was surprised, and Samanatha was happy that he was flirting with her birth mother. Leslie had a run in with Nicole. She implied that Nicole lied just as much as Dani spread her legs open. Leslie warned Nicole that there would be trouble if she didn’t watch out for Kat. Nicole wasn’t concerned about Leslie’s threat. Dani and Naomi discussing the out-of-wedding. While they were talking, she realized that Naomi was pregnant and denied the accusation. Naomi told her that she and Chelsea were a burden to her while they were growing up. Dani told her that couldn’t be further from the truth. Naomi talked to her about the reasons she didn’t want a baby. Dani respected her decision to not have children. She felt like a monster for not wanting children. The women discussed having big decisions to make about their relationships.

Naomi reached to out to Vanessa to ask her why she was allowing Joey to comfort her. Vanessa informed her if she wanted to remain her friend, that she had accept Joey being in her life. Donnell went to the casino and told Joey that his mother didn’t need him anymore. Joey wanted to know why so Donnell told him that he planned to stay there for a while. He wanted to bond with Donell by offering him a job at the casino. Joey wanted to make him a dealer at the casino. Donnell turned down the job because it’s the last place his father spent time. Vanessa showed up at the casino to let Joey know it was time to end things.

Hayley asked Bill where he was the night before. Bill wanted Hayley to trust him. He said despite what happened, he didn’t have erectile dysfunction. Bill warned Hayley that she was going to have to accept that Dani was going to be a part of their lives if they were going to make their marriage work. Dani told Pam that Bill kissed her. She also told Pam about what happened with Hayley. Pam asked if it was fair to use Andre if he was good to her and for her. She asked Dani what would happen if Andre wanted children. Andre showed up while they were talking. Dani noticed Bill sitting across from them and wanted to take Andre home. Bill went to Pam and wanted her to help Dani get rid of Andre. Pam said she couldn’t get Dani to leave her first husband. When Dani and Andre got home, she said she didn’t want him to regret their time together. Andre said he was happy. Dani didn’t believe him so she wanted to give him an out if he wanted to take it. Hayley went to see Bill at his office. She apologized for using Tomas to make him jealous. She said it would never happen again. Eva went to Mona and Jan to see if they could help her with Leslie. Mona said she didn’t want anything to do with Leslie. Jan was willing to listen to Eva and offered to talk to Leslie.

Leslie confronted Tomas about what he did to Eva. She told him that he was with Kat because it was safe. Later on, Eva convinced Leslie to see Jan. Leslie met with Jan. While they were talking, Jan offered to start over with Leslie. A shocked Leslie let Jan know that she missed her. Jacob and Andre ran into each other at the club. They ended up arguing because Jacob said he didn’t approve of him being with Dani. He told Andre that it had something to do with Ashley. When Jacob went home, he and Naomi talked about the baby. Jacob told Naomi that he thought he was okay with not having kids until she said she was pregnant. Jacob said he could see what it was like raising kids with her. Naomi said it would be a lovely dream, but reality would be different. Jacob said it could be better than she thought. Naomi said she was afraid that they wanted different things and could drift apart. Jacob said they would figure it out.

Dani thought about kissing Bill. Bill told a private detective to find out anything he could about Andre. When he told the detective that getting Andre out of Dani’s life was his number one priority, Hayley walked in. She was upset that he was talking about business during their private time. When Bill found out where Andre was, he told Hayley that he had to get to a meeting. Hayley called Caroline and found out that Bill lied about the meeting. Bill saw Andre at Orphey Gene’s and ended up arguing with him. Hayley went to see Dani and thought Bill was with her. Dani enjoyed seeing how miserable Hayley was. Hayley ripped into Dani and warned her to stay away from her husband. Later on, Bill went home to an angry Hayley. Andre told Dani about his conversation with Bill. Vanessa was shocked when Donnell walked in on her and Joey together. Joey said he brought her to the bar so Vanessa wouldn’t have to go back to the house. He tried bonding with Donnell by telling him that his mother died and how he moved past it. Nicole went to see Anita. They talked about Nicole’s broken heart. Anita advised her not to shut her life down or else Leslie and Ted would win. She said having the right person beside her could make life sweeter. Martin and Smitty went out on a date. They talked about the past, present, and future. Martin admitted that he was afraid that he was going to lose Smitty despite what they were doing to save their marriage. Smitty tried to talk Martin out of turning himself into the police. Martin felt like it was the only way to save his marriage. Smitty felt like his confession would tear their family apart. He became suspicious and wondered if Martin ever planned to turn himself into the police. Smitty thought Martin did that to get him to work things out with him. Martin denied what Smitty suggested. They started arguing about it. Smitty wasn’t sure how it would end. He made Martin cancel his appointment with Jacob. Smitty wanted them to attend couple’s therapy. Nicole and Dani talked about Andre. Dani promised that she wasn’t going to hurt Andre, but Nicole didn’t seem to believe her. Nicole changed the subject and told her that Vanessa was involved with Joey. After they talked about that, the sisters discussed Nicole dating Carlton. Dani thought Carlton was sexy. Nicole was done with love. Dani felt like the family only had room for one emotional hurricane in the family. Nicole said she was too scarred from Ted’s betrayal. Andre sent Dani a hot text, so she decided to leave. Dani apologized for not being a good marital example. She advised Nicole to have fun with Carlton.

Vanessa and Donnell watched the video of Doug’s last night at Joey’s casino. While they were watching the video, the dealer was talking to Marcel about the edits Joey made to the video. Marcel didn’t believe that Joey would do anything saintly. Joey called the dealer to the station so he could answer questions. Donnell met with Drake (the dealer) at the police station. Vanessa went to Uptown to get a drink with Joey. Marcel said in front of Donnell and Drake that he never met Doug. Drake couldn’t tell Donnell what he wanted to hear. Jacob told Drake to stay in town. He noticed how Donnell was acting and suggested they get something to eat. They went to Uptown, and Donnell saw Vanessa holding hands with Joey.

After Doug’s memorial service, Joey checked on Vanessa. While they were talking, Leslie showed up and interrupted their conversation. Eva saw Tomas at the country club and went to his table. While they were talking, he admitted that he crossed a line that he shouldn’t have crossed. He said he hoped they could still be friends. Eva said that he and Kat not connecting in bed was Kat’s fault. Kat showed up and saw them together. When Eva yelled at Kat, Tomas defended her. He said he hated hurting Eva, but he wanted to be with Kat. When Eva was about to leave, she insulted Kat. Later on, Eva yelled at Leslie for giving her bad advice. Donnell went to the police station to talk to Jacob. He told Jacob that he went to the crash site before the service. Donnell asked if his father suffered. Marcel listened to their conversation. Jacob told Donnell not to let survivor’s guilt get to him because no one could have saved Doug. Joey watched a video of Doug’s last night at the casino and decided that Marcel had to disappear. He went to the police station to show Donnell and Vanessa the video. At Nicole’s house, Dani and Chelsea grilled Carlton about his intentions. Carlton said he noticed Ted watching him at the service, but he wanted to be by Nicole’s side. While they were talking, Carlton won over Dani and Chelsea. Nicole grilled Dani about marrying Andre. Chelsea was glad to have her live out loud mother back but she didn’t expect her to get married. Dani said she was happy. Chelsea suggested that she and Andre take the promise they made seriously.

Chelsea went to Bill’s office to give Haley a purse. He wasn’t there, but she saw Tomas. She called him out for sleeping with Eva behind Kat’s back. Tomas informed her that he thought his relationship with Kat was over. He told her that Kat hated him. Chelsea told him that Kat still loved him. She thought that Kat didn’t really love Tomas the way she said. Chelsea believed that Kat only wanted him to keep him from Eva. She warned him not to hurt Kat again, or he would have to deal with her. Leslie knew by looking at Eva that she slept with Tomas. Eva felt guilty for doing it, but Leslie thought she should celebrate it. Leslie advised her to do whatever it takes to keep Tomas. She told Eva that Nicole was divorcing Ted while she was living near him. Eva couldn’t believe the way her mother’s mind was working. Leslie received a text about Bill getting a court to stop her from doing construction across from the Duprees. She left, and Eva was alone. Eva thought about the advice her mother gave her about Tomas. Tomas called Kat to see if she wanted to meet for lunch. Kat turned down his invitation. Eva called Tomas and he invited her out for lunch. She jumped at his invitation.

Anita and Vernon discovered that Bill didn’t win his case against Leslie. They believed Leslie would be a pain in the butt. Leslie arrived while they were talking about her. Smitty and Ted were at Orphey Gene’s comparing notes about their marriages falling apart. He wanted a sign that he could trust Martin again. Martin was talking to his grandparents about Smitty. He believed he had a way to save his marriage and get him to trust him again. After his conversation with Smitty, Ted went to see Nicole. He thought they should go to Doug’s memorial together. Nicole liked the idea, but Carlton was there to take her. Smitty was about to leave Orphey Gene’s when Martin arrived. Martin told him that the best way to save his marriage was to turn himself in for the crime he committed.

Hayley believed Bill was disappointed that she wasn’t pregnant. Bill said that wasn’t true. They started to make love, but Bill was distracted. Bill kept thinking about Dani. He pushed her away and said he had business on his mind. Hayley didn’t believe him and ripped into him for thinking about Dani. She told Bill that she was tired of fighting for space in his head. Bill wanted to prove that he was attracted to her by taking her to the bedroom. He wasn’t able to make love to her. When Hayley suggested that he see a doctor, Bill walked out. Later on, Bill told Hayley that Dani was Andre’s problem. Dani and Andre talked about ground rules. They agreed that they didn’t have to be faithful to each other. If one of them had feelings, they would cross that bridge when they got to it. While they were talking, Andre suggested that he move in. Dani didn’t want him to move in. She was willing to give him a drawer. Jacob was excited about the pregnancy, but Naomi wasn’t. When he brought up moving to a bigger place, Naomi reminded him that she didn’t want children. She said she was a lawyer, not a baby machine who lost her sense of self. Naomi said her mother gave up her career for her children. She said she didn’t want that life. Jacob said he didn’t want her to give up her career. He said he knew it wouldn’t be easy, but they could do it. Naomi didn’t want to have a family.

Dani and Bill kissed. She told him that he was trying to control her. They argued over Andre. Bill said Andre wasn’t worthy of her. Dani refused to let him insult her husband. Bill apologized for hurting her and for having a quickie wedding. Dani said he never gave her what she wanted. She said he was worthless. Bill insulted Andre. Dani told him she was open to adopting another child so he didn’t have to marry one. They continued to talk until they agreed to stop talking about each other’s marriages. Bill told her to forget about the kiss. Dani said he couldn’t if he tried. Naomi went to Dani’s place and was glad to see Andre there. She wanted him to know how she felt. Naomi asked what would happen if Ashley came to her senses. Whenever Naomi brought up a valid issue, Leo had an answer for it. Andre said he would sign a post nuptial agreement. He said he married a woman who made life good. Naomi said he would have to deal with her if he hurt her mother. After their talk, she welcomed him to the family. Jacob asked about Doug’s accident. Donnell told Joey that his family was going to sue him, the bartender, and the casino for giving Doug too much alcohol the night he died. Joey made sure Donnell talked to the bartender and dealer the night Doug died. Donnell realized the bartender was wearing his father’s watch. Joey fired the bartender. Bill went home to an upset Hayley who thought she was pregnant. It turned out she was late. Naomi surprised Jacob that she was pregnant.

Anita went to see Nicole to talk about Dani. The fact that Doug died because of drunk driving made her nervous about Dani. She thought Dani could fix her mistake by getting her marriage to Andre annulled. Nicole told her that Dani planned to stay married to Andre, but Anita wasn’t having it. Dani and Andre were cuddling when she decided to reach out to Chelsea. She wanted to let her know that she was proud of her, but she didn’t answer her call. They were about to cuddle again when Anita showed up. Anita demanded to know why she didn’t annul her marriage. Dani wanted Andre to leave so she could talk to her mother alone. Anita was concerned that Dani might have a drinking problem. Dani said her addiction was to Bill. If she didn’t move on with Andre, she might have attacked Bill again. Anita wanted her to find a program to get over Bill. She didn’t want Dani to end up going to prison or worse because of her problem. Andre went to see Nicole because he was upset that he told Anita that he didn’t get an annulment. Nicole didn’t realize it was a secret. She and Anita were worried about Dani and Andre’s drinking. Nicole asked Andre if he married Dani to get over Ashley. Andre admitted that Ashley’s engagement hurt him. He wondered why her family was against him being married to Dani. Andre thought that Nicole wanted to be the sensible one, but her divorce while Dani was married ruined her role in the family.

Bill didn’t buy Joey’s remorse over Doug’s death. He asked Joey if he had Doug killed. Joey shrugged off Bill’s question. He had an alibies to keep him from being responsible for Doug. Later Caroline showed up at Bill’s office with Dani’s marriage certificate, but he wasn’t there. Hayley was there, and she was upset. She wanted answers. Hayley believed that Bill was obsessed with Dani. She thought Bill fell back in love with Dani when Chelsea got kidnapped. Bill arrived and ignored the comments she made about Dani as he went over the information that Caroline found. Caroline left the office, and Hayley demanded answers. Bill said the marriage was financial, and Andre could keep the money from their daughters. Hayley didn’t believe his excuse. She thought he was obsessed with Dani. She stormed out of the room. Vanessa looked like she was in shock and called Nicole. She was planning Doug’s funeral and feeling down. Donnell met with his mother. He wanted to be there for Vanessa. He wanted answers about his father. Donnell pushed her to talk about Doug’s gambling problem. He might have been able to get through to him. Donnell rushed to the casino. Randy was happy to see Doug’s son. He tried to sing Doug’s praises, but Donnell wanted answers. Donnell got Randy to admit Doug was at the casino the night he died. Joey arrived and sent Randy away. Donnell ripped into Joey. He blamed him for his father’s death. Dani went to see Bill to figure out how to sever her connection to him. She suggested they establish boundaries. He thought they could insult each other until they never wanted to see each other again. Bill got hot and bothered and kissed Dani.

When Tomas tried to explain what Kat walked in on, Kat called him and Eva garbage. Kat ripped into them and accused Eva of wanting to be with Tomas all along. Eva said Kat was a first-class b*tch to Tomas. She let Kat know that Tomas was a 10 in bed. Kat was shocked that Tomas told her what happened between them. Things took a turn for the worse and Kat left. When Kat left, Eva said it didn’t get messier than that. Tomas told Eva that he didn’t mean to lead her on. Eva asked if he still wanted Kat after everything that happened. She tried to convince him to be with her instead of Kat, but he wasn’t convinced. Eva realized she made the same mistake her mother made with Ted. She told him that she never wanted to see him again. Kat told Chelsea about what happened with Eva and Tomas. Chelsea advised Kat to move on from Tomas, but Kat thought they were going through a rough patch. She said she wasn’t going to let Eva win.

Naomi and Jacob went to Orphey Gene’s to thank June for finding her wedding rings. June told her that she was never in love before, but she met someone she was interested in. While they were teaching June how to flirt, they realized Ted was the man June was interested in. They told June to find someone else to be with, but they didn’t tell her that Ted was Tyrell and Samantha’s grandfather. Martin and Smitty had dinner together. He let Smitty know that he couldn’t keep sleeping on the couch so he was leaving. Martin said he couldn’t occupy a tiny corner in his world. He said they weren’t perfect, but their love was. Martin said he would be back if they found their love. Andre and Ted went out for drinks and saw Nicole with Carlton. Later on, Ted saw Nicole and Carlton kissing. Vanessa told Joey that she needed answers. Joey said Doug was an addict who made bad choices. Vanessa still needed answers and wanted to go to the crash site. Joey suggested that she focus on her children and celebrating Doug’s life.

Tomas helped Eva move into her apartment. He admitted that it still bothered him that Kat said he was bad in bed. Eva said he was good looking and pulled him into a hot kiss. She broke off the kiss and asked him about Kat. He thought his relationship with Kat was over. They ended up making love. Eva was impressed with their experience. Tomas went to take a shower, and Kat showed up out of the blue. Chelsea suggested that she make peace with her to get on Tomas’ good side. Kat thought they might get close one day and share things. Tomas walked into the living room wearing a towel. Ted went to see Eva and found Leslie in her place. She informed him that she and Eva traded apartments. Leslie taunted Ted with the idea that they had sex again. She let him know that they were going to be running into each other all the time, Leslie suggested they make love, but he was determined to never make that mistake again. He left the room. Chelsea and Kat launched their line thanks to live streaming. They did an amazing job selling the bags.so the offers were pouring in. Allison managed to get access to a phone so she could watch the livestream. She lied to the cop to get the phone so she could call Chelsea. Chelsea was upset, but she hid it during the livestream. At the precinct, Vanessa wanted to make sure that the police ruled out that Doug’s death was an accident. Instead of blaming Joey, Vanessa blamed herself for what happened to Doug. Randy arrived at the casino to make sure that he didn’t end up like Doug. He gave Joey twice as much as he owed him. Joey shook his hand and was grateful to have him back in the business. He called Marcel to let him know that Randy was back in the business. Marcel wondered if he trusted Randy. Joey didn’t trust him, but he wanted to use him. If Randy turned on him, Marcel had to take care of him the way Doug was handled. Vanessa called out to Joey, and he wondered if she put everything together.

Leslie told Eva that she wanted to move in her hotel room while Eva moved into her apartment. She told Eva that she bought the building. Changing the subject, Leslie asked Eva about her feelings for Tomas. Leslie suggested that show him that she’s a better option than Kat. She told Eva that she was expecting someone. When Eva left, Peaches showed up. Leslie gave Peaches a check so she could get the treatment that she needed. She also told Peaches that she could move in one of the apartments in the building she bought. Derek and Jacob worked out. Jacob realized that Shanice knew that Derek had feelings in his legs. He told Derek that he wasn’t going to keep the secret for long since he expected him to lie to Naomi. Derek was upset, but Jacob didn’t give in. Jacob thought he was testing Ashley. He advised Derek not to go into the marriage with a secret. Derek said he would tell Ashley the truth if he made any major changes.

Andre showed up at the hospital while Ashley was telling Shanice about Doug. He wanted to tell Ashley that he and Dani got married, but she already knew. Andre tried to explain what was going on, but he noticed an engagement ring on her finger. He told her that Derek was her comfort zone. Andre said they were meant to be together to which she said she was in love with Derek. Marcel went to the casino to tell Joey that he was going to the Caribbean. Joey said he needed him to stay in town because it would look suspicious if he suddenly left town after Doug’s death. Later on, Joey offered to take Vanessa to see her son, but she told him Nicole was going to do it. Nicole walked in and saw them hugging.

Vanessa and Joey spent time together in Puerto Rico. She noticed that Jacob called. When she called him back, she found out that Doug was killed in a car accident. Vanessa broke down and wondered how the twins were going to take the news. She beat herself up for being in bed with another man while her husband was dying. Vanessa asked if Joey had anything to do with what happened with Doug. While Jacob was investigating Doug’s death, he wondered why he was driving drunk when he could have called a ride share. Marcel told him alcohol made people stupid. Later on, Jacob left to investigate the crime. Marcel called Joey and told him that everything went smoothly. He told Joey that as far as everyone knew, Doug’s death was an accident.

Dani and Andre talked about getting a divorce but continuing to be friends with benefits. She said she didn’t want her family to be shocked by the scandal. While they were talking, Nicole showed Anita and Vernon a picture that Anita’s impersonator shared online. Nicole called Andre and asked him to meet her at her parents’ house. When Andre showed up, the family ripped into him. They said they expected Dani to do something like this but not Andre. Andre accepted the blame and defended Dani. Nicole said Dani wasn’t the only one whose life was ruined. She said everyone wanted to take a break from reality. Bill told Hayley that women had a harder time moving on which was why Dani wouldn’t move on right away. Hayley showed him the post about Dani and Andre being married. She was happy, but Bill was furious. He wondered how Dani could do that to their daughters. Hayley wondered if he was more upset about Dani getting married. Bill said he couldn’t spend all of his time reassuring her when Dani didn’t do something. Later on, Bill went to Dani’s place to find out what was going on. He pointed out that she was with a younger man. Dani said her days of explaining herself to him were over. She said it was Hayley’s job to deal with his mess, not hers. While they were arguing, Bill told her to get her marriage annulled.

Joey and Vanessa were enjoying themselves in Puerto Rico even though he was getting texts about Doug losing at gambling. Vanessa believed that it was magical to cheat on Doug from a distance. She wasn’t thrilled when Joey wanted her to take off her wedding ring. Joey wanted her to be with him completely without any reminders of her life at home. It wasn’t easy for Vanessa to give up her life. Doug called Vanessa so she interrupted their moment together. Joey wasn’t happy about that and let it slip that he was with Vanessa. Doug nearly exploded at the idea that Vanessa was with Joey. The couple argued about Vanessa being with Joey. Doug went back to the blackjack table. Vanessa took her ring off and began to make love with Joey. Doug won a lot of money at the table and continued to drink. Marcel took Doug’s money and told him that he wouldn’t need it anymore.

Ashley went upstairs to help a neighbor, so Derek tried to get out the engagement ring he had for her. Derek fumbled with the ring and dropped it. He was afraid that Ashley would find it, so he struggled to get up to pick it up. Ashley showed up unexpectedly and saw the right. Derek proposed to her but didn’t tell her about his progress. Naomi and Jacob ran into Marcel at Orphey Gene’s. The cops had a heated exchange. After that exchange, they ran into June. They talked with her about her conversation with Samantha. After their conversation, Naomi went home. She realized that her rings were missing. Naomi got upset and destroyed her apartment to look for them. She felt like it was a bad sign for their marriage. June met Ted and had a friendly conversation with him. She didn’t realize who she was talking to. June found Naomi’s rings in the bathroom and gave her a call.

Dani and Andre woke up and realize they were married. She said there was no one that she would rather not remember marrying than him. After they finished talking about what they did, they decided it was time to go home and deal with the consequences of their actions. Martin and Samantha went to Orphey Gene’s so she could spend time with June. An upset Smitty said Martin was risking their relationship to get in good with their kid. He said any visits with June and the kids would involve a family member being there. Smitty met with Marcel and warned him that he would release a profile about him if he ever crossed the line again. After he finished talking to Marcel, he let June know that he didn’t like her spending time with the kids. He said he was willing to go through with it if they want to see her. Smitty warned her that he would cut her out of their lives if she hurt them.

Derek and Jacob were alone in Ashley’s apartment. While they were talking, Jacob realized Derek had feeling in his leg. Derek asked Jacob not to say anything to Ashley because he didn’t want to give her false hope. Jacob said he didn’t approve. Derek said he wasn’t looking for his approval. He wanted Jacob’s silence. At Uptown, Doug told Vanessa that he was joining a high stakes poker game. They ended up in an argument. Doug told Vanessa that he would give up his bad habits if she gave up hers. He walked away from her. Joey showed up and invited Vanessa to go to Puerto Rico with him. Vanessa hesitated at first but ended up agreeing to go.

Dani and Andre arrived at a chapel in Las Vegas. She was very drunk when they arrived. They flipped a coin to decide whether they should get married. The coin decided Dani and Andre should get married. An Anita impersonator was at the chapel and ready to marry them. Dani and Andre exchanged cigar bands and exchanged vows. The impersonator didn’t think they would remember that they got married. Andre and Dani arrived at their hotel. He carried her over the threshold. They couldn’t believe they were married. The couple were about to consummate their marriage when Andre passed out. Dani laid by his side. A lot of people were at the club. Doug and Vanessa talked about their marriage. Bill had dinner with Naomi and Chelsea. After the dinner. Kat sat with Chelsea to talk to her about her night with Tomas. Tomas was talking with Eva at Orphey Gene’s. Kat and Tomas told Chelsea and Eva about their nights together. They told them how they had a great evening, but it led to bad sex. Kat thought their sex life would be more instinctual since they had chemistry with each other. Chelsea told her that chemistry leads to the bedroom. She said communication is the key. Kat told her that she read that your relationship was over if you don’t have great sex. Chelsea advised her to get out of her head and go with the moment. Eva told Tomas that she’s pretty sure he wasn’t bad in bed. She advised him to prove that to Kat that it’s about her and not sex. Hayley told Caroline that her plan to make Bill jealous didn’t go as she planned it, but they had a deep conversation about Dani.

At the club, Leslie filled Eva in on her night with Ted. Leslie believed that Ted would come back to her. She didn’t want to Eva to ruin her mood. Anita and Vernon were at the club. After Leslie finished talking to Eva, she went over to Anita. Leslie wanted to know something about her mother. Anita told her to screw herself and warned her that she didn’t want her to take off her earrings. Later on, Anita changed her mind and told Leslie about Barbara. Leslie said the tribute concert was beautiful and thanked her for telling her about her mother. Vanessa didn’t want to leave Joey and Bill alone to talk, but eventually left. She went to Nicole who told her about Ted sleeping with Leslie. Bill warned Joey that Doug was going after him and was willing to throw Vanessa under the bus to do it. Joey said Doug wouldn’t do that. While he was talking, he let it slip that he had feelings for Vanessa. Nicole talked to Vanessa about Ted cheating on her. Vanessa thought Nicole wasn’t being honest about her feelings and suggested that she talk to Ted. Nicole took Ted’s tie to him and asked if Leslie was telling the truth about sleeping with him. Ted admitted to sleeping with Leslie and said it was a big mistake. Nicole said it was a mistake but not the way he thought it was.

Dani and Andre played drinking games at the club. They wanted to take their minds off Bill and Ashley. When the bartender told them they couldn’t have anymore drinks, Andre said they could go on a mystery trip. Dani agreed to go. Bill told Hayley about his conversation with Dani. He said the only thing that connected him to Dani were the children. When they were about to have sex, Doug showed up. At Uptown, Vanessa was excited about the money laundering scheme. While they were talking, Joey suggested that they move in together. Vanessa turned down his suggestion letting him know that she loved her husband. She said she learned years ago that she wanted sex more than Doug and got it elsewhere. Despite their problems, Vanessa said she loved her husband and wasn’t going to leave him. Doug told Bill about Joey’s money laundering scheme. He wanted Bill to handle Joey without hurting Vanessa. Later on, Bill went to Uptown and told Joey that he needed to talk to him alone. Kat and Tomas spent a romantic evening together, but she wasn’t satisfied again. Tomas wanted to talk about it. Kat was offended by the things he was saying. She said she might not be the problem. It was him. While Kat was yelling at him, she told him he was bad in bed.

Ashley was getting flirty with Derek when Andre texted her. Derek thought about the conversation he heard between Ashley and Andre. He wanted her to tell Andre about their engagement. Ashley told Andre about the engagement, and he was disappointed because he thought they would have a happy ending. While Ashley was with Andre, Shanice visited Derek. Shanice poked him with a sharp object. She suspected that he was regaining feeling in his legs and keeping quiet about it. Derek didn’t want to tell Ashley because he didn’t want to get her hopes up. Shanice thought he was worried that Ashley would call off the engagement once she found out he could walk. Andre and Ashley went to Derek’s bedside. Ashley and Derek were being romantic which made Andre uncomfortable. Andre suggested that Derek take Ashley to Paris since she always wanted to go there. After Andre left the room, Derek reminded Ashley that they couldn’t live together for five minutes. He wondered if they would be able to make long-term. Shanice arrived in Derek’s room again. She wondered if he was going to tell Ashley the truth about regaining feelings in his legs. Unfortunately, he continued to keep Ashley in the dark about his discovery.

Dani and Bill enjoyed walking down memory lane. They bonded while they reminisced about their children’s lives. Hayley wasn’t happy about seeing them bond. Hayley overheard them and called Tomas. After Tomas arrived, she thought they work on the surprise for Bill. He didn’t seem too enthusiastic about it so Hayley put her hand up his thigh. Bill walked in the room and asked if he was interrupting them. Tomas left the place. Bill realized what Hayley’s plan was. He wanted to know what Hayley wanted. She wanted him to make it clear that Dani didn’t have a chance of getting back together with him. Bill went to Dani’s place to tell her what he talked about with Hayley. Dani went to the country club after her conversation with Bill. She ran into Andre, and they talked about their sorrows. They agreed to drink their troubles away. Anita and Kat tried to talk Chelsea into moving forward with the company. Chelsea felt like she would never recover from what Allison did to her. When they were finished talking to Chelsea. Kat went to find Tomas to see if they were still a couple. They talked through their problems and agreed to a fresh start without pressures or expectations. Later, Chelsea and Kat decided to continue with the launch.

Ted looked at pictures of happier times with Nicole. Eva showed up at Ted’s room. Ted wanted Leslie to be quiet, but she wanted to tell her that they were back together. He let her know that they weren’t back together and he was going to fight for Nicole. Leslie asked if she was his side piece. Ted admitted that she was. Things weren’t going well for June at Orphey Gene’s. Samantha wanted to get to know her better despite Tyrell’s objections. She told June that she needed a woman’s perspective since she lives with guys. She wanted to make plans for them to spend time together. Leslie met with Eva at the country club and told her that she was in bed with Ted. A furious Eva went to see Ted. He was surprised that she knew about it. Eva said she was surprised the whole world didn’t know. She said Ted was more reckless than her mother because he knew better. Nicole and Anita ran into Leslie at the country club. They asked how she was dealing with having her membership revoked. Leslie said she was still a member despite Bill’s efforts. Before Leslie left the club, she pulled out one of Ted’s ties and asked Nicole to give it back to him.

Leslie planned on naming a troll after Nicole. Nicole showed up just as Leslie was leaving. Vernon got on the phone and had Leslie’s membership revoked. Ted was getting drunk when Eva arrived. She told him about herself. Eva helped Ted get into bed and left to meet her mother. She let Leslie know that Ted was drunk. The wheels were spinning in Veronica’s head. She rushed out the door. Later Leslie arrived at Ted’s door. He caught her in his arms. Ashley wanted Derek to accept her proposal. He let her know that he’s not whole, but she didn’t care. Ashley found out that everything on his body isn’t paralyzed. Derek finally gave in and agreed to marry her. Shanice arrived and found out that Derek and Ashley were getting married. She wasn’t happy about the news. It seemed like Shanice didn’t like the idea of Derek pretending not to feel his legs. She realized that he wasn’t going to tell Ashley about the feeling he had in his legs. Naomi and Jacob were shocked to see June at Orphey Gene. She was getting her life together by getting a job. Martin begged Smitty to take him back. While they were talking, they found out that Samantha almost had sex with Nathan. It occurred to Samantha that she needed to talk to her mother.
