Leslie went to see Hayley to let her know that they should be friends. Hayley wasn’t interested in being friends with her. Later on, Hayley woke Bill up from a nap. She gave him a poisoned smoothie. He ended up having an attack and passed out on the floor. Hayley kicked him to make sure he was unconscious. She ended up leaving him there. Vanessa told Nicole that she was upset about Doug’s death because she didn’t know how the accident happened. She blamed herself for Doug’s death. Nicole told her not to blame herself for something she couldn’t change. Joey thought about Doug’s death. He thought about destroying the letter Doug wrote incriminating him. Vanessa went to see Joey. While they were talking, she let him know that she never told anyone that they were together the night Doug died. She also didn’t tell anyone that Doug knew they were together. Heather showed up and noticed how sad Vanessa was. She told Vanessa to open up. Vanessa talked about Doug’s death and what happened to him. Heather noticed the look on Joey’s face. When Vanessa left, Heather accused Joey of having Doug killed so he could steal Vanessa. Naomi talked to Elon about talking Jacob out of pursuing the Impaler case. Elon understood her frustration but recommended that she talk to Jacob instead of him. At the police station, Jacob told Smitty that his articles on the Impaler made an impact since the San Francisco branch of the operation was shut down. Smitty asked Nicole for her help with the Impaler. He wanted her to created a profile of the Impaler.
