Leslie let Marcel know that she wasn’t living on his boat. She said she would never apologize for wanting more and going after it. While she was talking, she broke up with him. When she was alone, she thought about her relationship with Ted. Marcel went to Uptown and talked to Grayson. Eva talked to Izaiah about her parents’ relationship. He thought about the conversation he had with Joey. They talked about Leslie and Joey’s reputations, but they were loyal to the people they loved. Nicole’s place was a mess so Kial offered to help clean up. While Kial was cleaning, he broke a crystal dish that was a wedding gift for Nicole and Ted. Nicole became emotional over the gift being destroyed which was understandable to Kial. They ended up talking about loss and moving on. Nicole said she had regrets, but she was glad that she and Kial met when they did. Ted went to see Bill at the hospital. They talked about their failed marriages. Bill said Nicole wasn’t over Ted the way she pretended to be. He asked Ted what drew him to Leslie. Ted said Leslie wasn’t always the person she is now. He flashed back to his relationship with Leslie. They talked about Bill trying to stop Ted from seeing Leslie. There was a flashback of Ted taking off his ring and telling Leslie that he loved her. Bill asked Ted about Shanice. Ted said he loved her.
