Elon questioned Joey about Randy being at the warehouse. He warned Joey that he was going to find the person behind the plasma ring. Elon warned Joey that he would be dealt with if he turned out to be the person involved with the plasma ring. Joey told him that he would never put Jacob or any of Elon’s family members in danger. Naomi tried to comfort Ashley. Ashley wasn’t sure how to mourn Derek since they weren’t together anymore.She blamed herself for everything that went wrong in their relationship. Naomi reminded her that Derek wouldn’t want her to blame herself. She called Jan to help Ashley. After Naomi called her, Jan arrived to help Ashley. While they were talking Ashley blamed her past for what happened to Derek.
Marcel informed Lia that she might be able to help herself by telling what she knew about the plasma ring. Lia refused to talk so Marcel decided to talk to Joey. Marcel went to see Joey and suggested that he retire for real. Joey rejected that offer. Ren was at the police station and was ready to tell the name of the Impaler. Lia tried to explain why she did what she did to Shanice, but she didn’t want to hear a word that she said. She wanted to make sure that the hospital didn’t suffer. Shanice vowed not to make the hospital pay for her decisions. She informed her that she was involved in something that got her friend killed. Shanice wanted her to rot for what she did. Jacob appeared in Lia’s room next. He informed her that Grayson got immunity, and she had a small window to make the same deal that he did. Lia assured Jacob that she didn’t know who the Impaler was. Bill and Tomas talked about Lia and Lynette being connected through the plasma ring. Kat had ideas of how they could find out the truth, but Bill didn’t want her to get involved. Donnell met with Vanessa and confronted her about Joey being involved in the plasma ring. She got upset and told him that Joey wouldn’t go after underprivileged people who have to sell plasma to afford to eat. Donnell didn’t believe Joey the way she did. Later Donnell went to see Joey to find out the truth. He confronted Joey about the plasma ring. After Donnell left, Joey called Randy. He wanted him to get in touch with the Impaler. He wanted the Impaler to know that he was getting too close to his turf.
